Biography

Pianist Wojciech Waleczek has toured widely, reaching destinations that rarely see visiting European classical artists. He is also a prominent educator. Waleczek has made several unusual recordings of Liszt's music. In 2024, he released an album of Liszt's Weihnachtsbaum, a suite of Christmas pieces, on the Naxos label. Waleczek was born in Pyskowice, near Katowice in southern Poland's Silesia region, on March 9, 1980.
