Woollen Kits

Toward the end of the 2000s, Australia turned into an unlikely hotbed for garage rock revivalist acts, and like their mates Royal Headache and Eddy Current Suppression Ring, Melbourne's Woollen Kits specialize in scrappy, hooky tunes. Inspired by the hard-edged, no-frills musicianship of bands like Modern Lovers and the Velvet Underground, the trio formed in 2007.
