British project XAM Duo produces hypnotic, meditative music that synthesizes influences ranging from kosmische and spiritual jazz to ambient techno. Their self-titled 2016 debut was a sprawling set of expansive pieces mainly created using modular synthesizers and saxophones. Its eventual follow-up, 2022's XAM Duo II, was a much more concise effort incorporating digital technology.
