Pianist Xiayin Wang has an unusually broad repertory, ranging from Bach to the American serialist George Perle. She has been heard internationally as a recitalist and concerto soloist. Wang has a substantial recording catalog, much of it issued by the Chandos label, including albums of virtuoso music by Rachmaninov and Earl Wild. In 2024, she issued recordings of piano concertos by Gerard Schurmann and Edward MacDowell.
