British electronic musician Catherine Backhouse's stylistically varied releases under the Xylitol moniker are united by her sense of curiosity and playfulness. Occasionally appearing as Astral Bunny or DJ Bunnyhausen, Backhouse began releasing lo-fi electro and minimal wave tracks on her own Pierogii-Disc imprint in 2006, mostly as limited CD-R or vinyl releases.
