Sludgy and explosive, Young and in the Way blend elements of crust punk and black metal into a potent and destructive new sound. Based out of Charlotte, North Carolina, the band's bleak and forceful sound was forged by members Kable Lyall (vocals), Rick Contes (guitar), Chris Nolen (bass), and Randy Baucom (drums), who seem hell-bent on pushing the limits of aggression and volume with their sonic savagery.
