Younghusband are an English rock group with a knack for pairing reflective lyrics with breezy, autumnal melodies rooted in psychedelia, shoegaze and krautrock.
Taking their name from Lieutenant Colonel Sir Francis Edward Younghusband, a colonial adventurer who appeared in the autobiographical travel book Seven Years in Tibet, the band was originally founded as a solo vehicle for singer/songwriter Euan Hinshelwood (New Shapes).
