Speaker 3 (00:44):
So Lorena still has not submitted a song for you?
Is that really what's happening right now?
Speaker 4 (00:49):
Yes?
Speaker 5 (00:49):
You guys got it?
Speaker 3 (00:50):
You know, I mean, Lorena, you just want to text
the song to me and then I'll send it to
Ricky and.
Speaker 5 (00:56):
There you go. Or you just do it, you know,
just change it, you guys go. You know, it's Lorna's job.
I'm just trying to well, you guys gave I gave
Lorraine an opportunity to do it. She ain't moved, so y'all.
Speaker 6 (01:07):
Going last night too?
Speaker 5 (01:09):
I don't.
Speaker 6 (01:09):
I'm still confused as to why, LeVar, why don't you
want to pick the song I'm done.
Speaker 1 (01:15):
What I think y'all should just do it?
Speaker 5 (01:18):
Is this the one to end on? Is that what
you're saying? This is so good? This is the one
to walk out to.
Speaker 2 (01:23):
That's correct, man, pop it.
Speaker 6 (01:26):
Cherry Red had a good run. There's been some bangers whatever.
Speaker 5 (01:31):
The health song is called.
Speaker 7 (01:34):
That song.
Speaker 8 (01:37):
Eleven cover band.
Speaker 5 (01:39):
Man, it's not three eleven. It's Mambo sauce.
Speaker 8 (01:42):
I just don't understand why why you won't pick anymore.
You don't have to worry about me.
Speaker 5 (01:48):
I gotta welcome into the show.
Speaker 8 (01:50):
Chambers filled here. I'm ready for Fox.
Speaker 5 (01:52):
Sports Radio Studios. It's Jonas Nach's Brady Quinn and it's
LeVar Arrington. Two pros and a cup of Joe. Come on,
here we go, all right, here we go, come on, Hey,
he doesn't want the attention to stop.
Speaker 6 (02:08):
I just I don't know what happened. I thought that
was our thing. We don't pick songs and we judge
each other for them. I thought that was part of
the part.
Speaker 5 (02:15):
Of the stick. That's part of this is the stick?
All right?
Speaker 1 (02:17):
Yeah, we judge wants to press it up, and then
Lorena wants to mess it up because she doesn't want
to get a get a song ready to go.
Speaker 7 (02:26):
I just love her song so much Silver, I'm not
ready to part with it yet.
Speaker 1 (02:29):
Okay, there you go. I appreciate somebody appreciating it.
Speaker 8 (02:34):
God, you should see my head Bob when it comes on. Yeah,
welcome to d C.
Speaker 5 (02:40):
Yeah, I'm standing away from.
Speaker 6 (02:43):
That play right, So it is other people should take
that advice.
Speaker 1 (02:51):
Radio.
Speaker 5 (02:53):
I blame Lorena. That's all on you. That's all right.
Speaker 6 (02:59):
So we've got the explosive mock draft coming up here.
This is something that now special surprise. So LeVar is
going to be on draft coverage tonight on Fox Sports Radio,
and you're probably thinking, well, if he's putting in work
doing the draft, what are you lazy ass is doing.
Don't worry, Brady's going to do the top ten explosive
(03:20):
mock draft. I've got the bottom ten not so explosive
mock draft that'll be coming up tomorrow, and I pieced
it together last night. I'm telling you, somebody on this
show is going to be very happy with what I got,
very happy with what I got in the bottom ten
of the mock draft.
Speaker 8 (03:35):
But are we ready to go on this?
Speaker 5 (03:37):
Brady?
Speaker 6 (03:38):
Are you ready to go or do you have more
questions for Lee about there?
Speaker 3 (03:45):
I know you heard some during the break because you
knows that, But Lee, you've got.
Speaker 5 (03:50):
To explain yourself.
Speaker 3 (03:51):
Because at one point and I'd done the rundown, I'd
done the work I had submitted, which I want to
change it like three times in the middle of the night,
but I did the top ten and Leek emails me, Hey, buddy, heybody,
can you send over for that top ten draft thing
you're doing tomorrow? And I was like, Lee, it's it's
already on the rundown. No response, Yeah, what were you
(04:17):
doing last night?
Speaker 9 (04:19):
I was getting back from rewatching Sinners, so but then
also it was a little happy hour.
Speaker 7 (04:25):
Sinners is great.
Speaker 9 (04:27):
I realized the first time I had watched it, I
completely slept through the third act. So I had to
go back rewatch it again. And it was great, fantastic movie.
Everybody should go see.
Speaker 5 (04:35):
It, very good. And of course I will not have
been still or get upset over it.
Speaker 9 (04:42):
Oh he got upset over He got upset over a
variety putting out a title saying that sixty million dollars
wasn't a good enough opening.
Speaker 7 (04:50):
Basically is what there is?
Speaker 9 (04:51):
What variety had put out there where he said, really,
you an R rated movie gets sixty million dollars opening weekend,
you're gonna give it shade?
Speaker 5 (04:58):
Come on right? Yeah, he took issue with that.
Speaker 3 (05:01):
Although there are some people who took issue with the
movie who were not fans.
Speaker 5 (05:04):
We do have to portray that. But anyway, Lee, that
doesn't Yeah.
Speaker 7 (05:10):
No, I had overlooked the note of yeah you had.
Speaker 9 (05:14):
You had given me a very detailed, explosive top ten
mock draft, and I stupidly asked you for it again
because yeah, so I probably had a martini at a
happy hour after the movie.
Speaker 6 (05:26):
I probably did well the best well, you know, knowing me,
I probably did the best.
Speaker 5 (05:31):
Thing is that all you had, He goes, well, I
was after tequila shots.
Speaker 7 (05:35):
Yeah, I mean it was like, yeah, we had tequila
shots during the movie.
Speaker 3 (05:38):
I mean, for sure, shots are different category. And if
it's during if it's if it's during a film, that
also doesn't count because that's like the black hole of
like you.
Speaker 5 (05:48):
Know, what goes in there and never comes out, no one.
Speaker 3 (05:49):
Knows what happened. So you go in the movie theater,
those dringstone counts. So you had a martini and then
I go, did you have a nightcap?
Speaker 5 (05:58):
He goes, yeah, I probably had some wine going back
to my parents place. It's like, okay, all right.
Speaker 8 (06:04):
I probably did.
Speaker 9 (06:05):
Yeah, yeah, probably probably had a glass of wine with
with lady.
Speaker 5 (06:11):
Do you think it was just one glass? Lady?
Speaker 7 (06:15):
That's why I call him with.
Speaker 1 (06:17):
Lady? So mom is lady? The other one is the lady?
Speaker 6 (06:22):
Is that because you've lady friends? Have you've forgotten who
she is so many times? You just called your lady
at this point?
Speaker 1 (06:26):
Yeah, that's weird, but who are you? That's a little weird, Lee,
you call your mom lady?
Speaker 7 (06:34):
Hey lady? Yep, lady?
Speaker 5 (06:37):
Soaly just one glass of wine or maybe a bottle?
Speaker 7 (06:40):
No, it was a glass.
Speaker 5 (06:41):
It was a glass.
Speaker 9 (06:42):
Just made sure she got home all right, and then
uh made my way back to finish the notes for
the night.
Speaker 5 (06:47):
Ye house poor? You think house poor as far as that.
Speaker 7 (06:51):
Yeah, yeah, it was definitely a house poor.
Speaker 8 (06:54):
So what is the difference between a house poor and
something you house poor?
Speaker 3 (06:59):
As you basically take the glass and you pour as
much liquid as humanly possible, and they had glass.
Speaker 9 (07:04):
The thing is all the wine glasses are broken, so
it's like in a what's what's the name of a
regular glass.
Speaker 7 (07:09):
It's a paint can. Yeah, there you go.
Speaker 9 (07:12):
Okay, No, like normal class that you would put.
Speaker 3 (07:17):
Yeah, let's let's do this top ten.
Speaker 2 (07:23):
No, it's time for Brady Quinn's explosive mock.
Speaker 5 (07:28):
Draft and it starts with number one, the number one Titans. Yep, uh.
Speaker 3 (07:39):
Probably the worst kept secret, the Tennessee Titans, who are
looking for a quarterback. They're in the position to take
the best quarterback. Did they feel calls for the number
one overall pick?
Speaker 5 (07:50):
You bet they did.
Speaker 3 (07:51):
Did they answer any or actually pick up and say, oh, yeah, well,
maybe think about doing that with you.
Speaker 5 (07:56):
Of course not.
Speaker 3 (07:58):
It's the Tennessee Titans taking quarterback cam Ward out of
the University of Miami formerly of Washington State formula of
incarnate word, the record setting quarterback. It doesn't bother them
that he only played the first half of the bowl
game just because he wanted to set the record and
then let his team go ahead and get beat in
(08:19):
the end. A lot of people at Miami minus three
and a half in that one. They were not excited
about that. That being said, cam mood the best quarterback
in this draft class, according to many. He goes to
the Tennessee Titans to try to turn around that franchise
with the first overall pick.
Speaker 2 (08:37):
Number two at number two.
Speaker 3 (08:39):
Now, let me explain something about this draft. This is
not what I think they're going to do. It's not
necessarily what I would do if I was in their position,
although it's more that than it is anything else.
Speaker 5 (08:54):
This is partially too as far as how I see
the prospects.
Speaker 3 (08:58):
So at number two, the Clevelands are selecting a guy
that I think would be a menace for opponents and
a guy where you put him opposite of Miles Garrett.
It creates a tandem that's going to be called sack City.
And I'm not talking about Jonas old stopping man. Okay,
Abdul Carter, the edge rusher at a Penn State university.
(09:20):
You pair him with Miles Garrett. It is a lethal combination.
I know what the odds say. I know they say
to take Travis Hunter. They could play him as a
wide receiver. Maybe that's where Cleveland sees them. I see
him more as a cornerback. I think you can mix
him in his wide receiver. That's where you get the
most out of him. And it doesn't make sense for
a fit for Cleveland. If you'd be playing a cornerback
(09:41):
Abdul Carter, he's sure as heck does.
Speaker 5 (09:43):
So I've got Abdul Carter going number two overall to
the Cleveland Browns.
Speaker 2 (09:49):
Number three.
Speaker 3 (09:51):
Shaked up at number three comes in a player who
with his versatility, with his star power, his ability to
impact both sides of the football. It makes the most
sense for a team who's looking for that sort of
dynamic playmaker, and that's Travis Hunter, the wide receiver quarterback
out of the University of Colorado.
Speaker 5 (10:09):
He goes to the New York Giants.
Speaker 3 (10:11):
He provides a weapon nowing for Russell Wilson or Jamis Winston,
but also a cornerback who can help improve that defense.
So Travis Hunter makes the most sense here in my mind.
Number four. At number four, it stays chocky. The New
England Patriots new head coach Mike Rabel. You know he
loves the trenches and that's where he's going to go
(10:32):
here with one of the best tackles in the draft
in Will.
Speaker 5 (10:34):
Campbell, it's a need for this team. They got to.
Speaker 3 (10:36):
Protect their quarterback Drake May who was under dressed way
too much last year. And Will Campbell is the guy
that I really like in this spot as far as
his attitude, his.
Speaker 5 (10:45):
Demeanor, high level of play. I could care less about
his short arms.
Speaker 3 (10:49):
I don't think Mike Rabel does either, So Will Campbell's
the pick here out of LSU at tackle.
Speaker 7 (10:54):
For New England.
Speaker 3 (10:55):
Number five at number five, we've seen a lot of
momentum for this. It makes sense too to add a
playmaker to help out take the pressure off Trevor Lawrence's shoulders,
and that's Ashton Genty. He's the best running back in
this draft class. He can really do it all, and
I think he adds a boost to an offense that's
tried to rely too much on Lawrence to carry them.
(11:15):
Travis Etienna's battles some health issues, and even then, you
know you don't have to necessarily throw Ashton Genty into
the fire right away. He can slowly work his way in,
as he did have a bunch of carries his final
year at Boise State. But Ashton Genty, the home run
hitting running back out of Boise State, goes.
Speaker 5 (11:32):
Number five overall. Number six, Las Vegas needs some help
on the offensive line, and this is where I feel
like the Las Vegas Raiders who are going to try
to build through the trenches.
Speaker 3 (11:45):
When you look at Spy Deck too, their general manager
who they've brought in. He's typically done this in the past,
and this is where I feel like they lean on
one of the other better tackles that's available in this spot.
Armand Membo out of Missouri makes a lot of sense
in this pick to shure up the protection for Las
Vegas moving forward. So I've got Armin Membo going number
(12:08):
six Oval to help protect Gino Smith number seven. This
is one where I'm just drafting because I love the
player and I feel like a he's versatile.
Speaker 5 (12:19):
He could do a bunch of things.
Speaker 3 (12:20):
He's a playmaker for them, and I think the Jets
are gonna need a little bit of that with justin
fields to take the pressure off. That's why I've got
him taking Penn State's tight end Tyler.
Speaker 5 (12:29):
Warren number seven.
Speaker 3 (12:30):
Overall, you can make the case for some other positions here.
I just feel like eventually, given again his versatility, his
ability to catch, his ability to run the football and
do a bunch of different things, He's going to be
a guy that I think you look even a short
yard in situations. We know about the touch push, I
don't know that you even need that with Tyler Warren.
Speaker 5 (12:47):
You just need the guy who can go into a
quarterback sneak like.
Speaker 3 (12:49):
He can, and so he could do a bunch of
different things for this roster, and I think helps take
some of the pressure off of what is presumed to
be the starting quarterback and justin fields.
Speaker 1 (12:58):
This year, trade alert aert oh oh oh.
Speaker 3 (13:07):
The New Orleans Saints at number nine have been getting
calls about teams trying to trade up with them, and
they've got a specific player in mind, so they called
up to reassure themselves they would be able to get
this player by trading up one spot with the Carolina Panthers,
since they didn't want to get leaped frog like we
(13:27):
saw in last year's draft where the Las Vegas Raiders
found themselves without a quarterback. So number nine, the New
Orleans Saints trade up to the number eight overall spot
with the Carolina Panthers. The trade exchange is this The
Panthers they traded move back one spot to the number
nine overall pick, and they also get pick one to twelve,
(13:48):
a fourth round pick that moves them back and gives
them an opportunity to still pick up another quality player.
The Saints then select quarterback Jackson Dart out of All miss.
It feels like there's a lot of momentum building potentially.
Some people have talked about them taking them, trading back up.
Speaker 5 (14:07):
Into the first round to take them. Why risk that chance?
Speaker 3 (14:11):
Instead, they go ahead and get the future quarterback and
Jackson Dart out of old Miss here at the number
eight spot. Number nine, and this is where the Carolina
Panthers now slide back a spot to take a player
who I think is going to impact them off of
the edge. They gave up Bryan Burns. They need to
replace that. It's gonna be mckel Williams, the edge defender
(14:31):
out of Georgia. Makes a lot of sense for some
of the needs that Carolina has here. He's that next
guy kind of up and I think it makes again
sense for a team that needs to help.
Speaker 5 (14:41):
Improve their defense.
Speaker 3 (14:43):
Number ten and finally number ten Chicago Bears. This pick
is a bit of a need I think for the Bears,
but also a player that I absolutely love and I
think there's a lot of people who love them more
than people want to admit.
Speaker 5 (14:57):
And I wouldn't be shocked if he doesn't go off
before this.
Speaker 3 (15:00):
But Josh Simmons, the tackle out of Ohio State, he
can play outside, he can play inside. He is to
me one of the more smooth operators at the tackle position,
really on the offensive line in general.
Speaker 5 (15:12):
I think the world of him.
Speaker 3 (15:14):
I think he makes a lot of sense for protecting
Caleb Williams and for Ben Johnson.
Speaker 5 (15:18):
You go back to his time in Detroit.
Speaker 3 (15:20):
They build up that offensive line through the draft continually
went time and time again.
Speaker 5 (15:25):
I think it's a no brainer here they go with an.
Speaker 3 (15:27):
Offensive lineman, my guy, Josh Simmons, That's who I'd go
with here.
Speaker 8 (15:32):
Outstanding. Ye, I got questions.
Speaker 6 (15:40):
Most difficult decision in your top ten that made you
go back and forth thinking, I don't know if I
want to go with that.
Speaker 3 (15:46):
Uh, probably the New Orleans Saints and trading and then
also taking a quarterback. I think you could make a
case for the Detackle out of Old miss there. They've
got a need there. There's there's edge that you know
they could take Jalen Walker to take Mike kil Williams.
That was that whole entire situation, the trade who Carolina
took who New Orleans is going to take in that case.
Speaker 5 (16:09):
But the reality is, I don't know that we're gonna.
Speaker 3 (16:11):
See a ton of trades. I feel like teams are
somewhat sloughed where they're at. We saw a report yesterday
about basically the asking price being seventy cents on the dollar,
And in the trade scenario I presented, going based off
the draft value chart, it's fifty points difference to go
from number nine to number eight, and so the value
of the one hundred and twelfth pick overall, which is
the fourth round pick that in this scenario that I
(16:33):
gave up, was seventy points, So it kind of sweetens
the pot a bit. I think for Carolina to move
back one spot knowing they're going to get a fourth
round pick that's just outside of the top one hundred.
Speaker 5 (16:46):
How confident are you on this list?
Speaker 10 (16:48):
Like?
Speaker 3 (16:49):
How again, not confident at all because my number two
pick goes completely against the draft odds.
Speaker 5 (16:55):
Which which you know, again, it doesn't always mean that's
how the draft's going to work. We've seen it change
before saying this is what it should be. Well, think
about it. I mean, you don't think Miles Garrett across
from Abduall Carter makes sense. I don't disagree with you.
Speaker 1 (17:08):
That's why I'm mad because if you look at that
Brady Quinn reasoning, so I can feel confident that you know,
because I feel the same way.
Speaker 5 (17:17):
I feel like.
Speaker 3 (17:17):
If you look at the Giants, the Giants don't make
any sense unless you're gonna play him off the ball,
which you'd probably go more Jalen Walker in that case,
he's got a little bit more experience doing that. But
also they've got Brian Burns, who really they don't have
an out in that contract until after twenty twenty six,
and Kevon Thibodeau's still in his rookie deal. So I
(17:39):
just don't see any scenario where they're going to take
Abduall Carter and then keep all three. So maybe the
Giants have something else planned, But in this case, I
would think that they would take someone who can impact
their roster at the wide receivers spot, which they need,
but also help them out on defense and also be
you know, a superstar. Travis Hunter would make more sense
(18:01):
with the Giants, and Abdul Carter makes more sense with
the Browns.
Speaker 6 (18:05):
It does interesting when you break it down like that,
make more sense. And if you're looking to take advantage
of that Draft Kings right now, Abdull Carter going number
two is plus six point fifty and Travis Hunter going
three is plus seven hundred.
Speaker 7 (18:19):
So if this plays out, you.
Speaker 6 (18:20):
Can make a little bit of coin on that, if
you want to bet two and three on DraftKings. The
other question apt for you, Mason Graham. I know Pete
Prisco had mentioned he'd watch more tape and he was
a little bit more down on him than he was initially.
Are you hearing the same thing from other people as
far as him potentially fallings? And I know he's not
(18:40):
in your top ten.
Speaker 5 (18:42):
Yeah, he's not.
Speaker 3 (18:43):
I mean, and I think there's some other players that
I've watched in particular that kind of stand out, but
he very well could. I mean, he's a player that
again I think you look at some of the teams
that I could have thrown in there, New Orleans again
as one maybe even could have set up for Bears
going to Jacksonville. I mean at five, that's the one
(19:04):
pick that I think it really makes a lot of
sense for as far as needs. But we keep hearing too,
and this is the one thing that I think made
me think this is teams are going to draft who
they feel like is best player available and draft based
on that. They're not gonna draft so much based on needs.
We keep hearing that time and time again. Abdul Carter,
Travis Hunter, Ashton Gent and Taller Warren. Those are the
(19:26):
four best blue chip prospects in this draft. There is
a clear separation after those four to everyone else in
this draft in my opinion. All right, and that includes
cam Ward as far as a prospect. You know, when
you're comparing, for example, like over the next ten years,
how do those four guys stack up? They'd stack up
versus any class really well?
Speaker 5 (19:46):
Like that, that's how blown away they would take him one.
Speaker 1 (19:49):
I just it blows me away that they would take
him one because as good as talent as he is,
he's not a one talent.
Speaker 5 (19:57):
So that that blows me away.
Speaker 1 (20:00):
That Tennessee wouldn't take Abdul Carter or Travis Hunter number
one blows me away.
Speaker 5 (20:06):
Yeah. You know, it's funny.
Speaker 3 (20:07):
If somebody asked me the day, like who's to remind
you of? He reminds me of Steve McNair, Like that
that when when Steve mcnaer played that's.
Speaker 5 (20:12):
I think they're similar in size.
Speaker 3 (20:14):
I think you look at him coming out of Alcorn State,
the highlights I used to see when I was young
watching him when he got TENNC. That's that's how I
would say those those two kind of stack up as far.
Speaker 5 (20:25):
As what they look like.
Speaker 3 (20:25):
It's ironic that it's a former quarterback who played for
the Titans, but that's just kind of how I see them.
They released everything else, the athleticism, the poise, toughness in
the pocket, those sorts of things, good decision making and obviously,
you know cam WoT was one of most prolific passers
during his time in college football, so.
Speaker 5 (20:43):
He was.
Speaker 1 (20:46):
Either I'm not trying to shade him. I'm not trying
to shad him at all. I promise I'm not trying
to shade him. I'm just saying number one overall pick like,
that's you. I would assume you want. I can't miss scenario. Now,
Steve McNair is a that's a great pool in comparison.
But where where did Steve McNair what what? What number
(21:08):
did I mean? I know it was high, but what
number did he get drafted? I think three?
Speaker 5 (21:14):
It was high. Let's see is it was it three?
I think I think it was. Where was Lee on
this one? Is he? I'm going to beat over there,
I'm going to beat Lee to it?
Speaker 7 (21:24):
It was three?
Speaker 5 (21:25):
It was three? Look at Lee? What a step of us? Three?
Speaker 6 (21:30):
I think Lee still reeling from Jason Whitlock's critique of
the movie that.
Speaker 11 (21:34):
He just.
Speaker 5 (21:37):
It's not surprising that you're not overly critical in many movies.
I mean you're kind of like, Oh, no, I really
saw like what the director was trying to capture. I'm like, oh,
Jesus wit said it was written by a three year
old on crack. I'll tell you if the movie, man,
(22:04):
what's the crap movie? Sally?
Speaker 6 (22:08):
Uh?
Speaker 7 (22:08):
Sacramento was was okay of Michael Cina. Let's see I
gotta look through.
Speaker 8 (22:19):
Oh do you keep tracking all the movies you see? Uh?
Speaker 9 (22:22):
Yeah, War war Zone was really good. I'm gonna see Thunderbolts.
I assume that's gonna be crap.
Speaker 5 (22:29):
Uh they're bolts.
Speaker 9 (22:31):
Freaky Tales. Oh, Death of a Unicorn was crap. A
lot of people love that movie. I thought it was awful.
Speaker 1 (22:38):
I think there's two movies that people are sleeping on
that need to be made. They need to figure out
how to do it. One silver Hawks. There needs to
be a movie done on silver Hawks.
Speaker 5 (22:53):
Two. Two ThunderCats, Yes, ThunderCats. We'll get to what is Silverhawks?
You don't remember that cartoon? Silverhawks? Silver hawkss? You don't
remember that?
Speaker 12 (23:09):
Partly metal, partly real?
Speaker 8 (23:12):
Is this a silver Hawks?
Speaker 5 (23:15):
Look up the look up? Lorraino, bring us back to Silverhawks?
Speaker 8 (23:19):
What the hell are you talking about?
Speaker 5 (23:20):
I'm telling you, And it's a dope ass cartoon.
Speaker 2 (23:23):
Broh, yeahs.
Speaker 8 (23:32):
Silver I'm on silver Rocks is a UFL team?
Speaker 12 (23:36):
Partly real?
Speaker 5 (23:40):
This kid on nineteen eighty six?
Speaker 1 (23:46):
Yeah, bruh, silver Hawks, Man.
Speaker 5 (23:50):
I think this would be dope. I think this would
be a dope movie.
Speaker 1 (23:53):
And somebody took it and made it like a like
how they're doing with all these Marble movies.
Speaker 5 (24:00):
It's got the eighties guitar solo.
Speaker 1 (24:02):
Yeah, and he's literally playing a guitar like that's one
of his that's his superpower.
Speaker 7 (24:07):
He's got a silk like cowboy hat.
Speaker 5 (24:09):
Yeah yeah yeah. But they turned into hawks like and
they can fly in the space.
Speaker 1 (24:17):
Just saying, man, those are the two movies that I'm
saying I don't understand why. And then you gotta hit
us with ThunderCats too. I'm telling you when we come back,
you gotta hit us with ThunderCats too.
Speaker 5 (24:28):
Why has there not been a redo?
Speaker 1 (24:31):
Like, why hasn't there been a movie that that like
has that lion king type of feel to the characters,
or you know, with AI or or like real.
Speaker 5 (24:39):
People hold on, hold on and who would be lyon?
Though in real life? This this show is so bad.
It only lasted for one season. It was dope. I
used to look.
Speaker 3 (24:51):
At sixty five episodes, was approximately twenty three minutes long.
Speaker 1 (24:56):
There wasn't enough ample to appreciate it. That's all it
is aired. It aired in September. It's September eighth, nineteen
eighty six. It was done by December fifth, nineteen eighty six.
Catch Hey, you know, you know what's disturbing about what
you're saying is when I was a kid, I was
looking for.
Speaker 12 (25:15):
I was looking for and I couldn't find it anymore.
Speaker 5 (25:18):
That's kind of sad. I was looking for it. I
was like, what happened to my show?
Speaker 1 (25:24):
Sometimes canceled My God Day Show eighty six?
Speaker 10 (25:31):
I was eight eight, So you were this is like,
this is a big moment in your eight year old.
I mean, think about it, eight years old, like you're pretty,
you're pretty advanced.
Speaker 5 (25:41):
At eight years old, I had never heard of it.
I never heard of it.
Speaker 1 (25:45):
So I had just started playing football. Okay, here's it's
a true story. I had just started playing football. And
the two there was there were there were three cartoons,
well four actually that that really during the week, really
really impacted.
Speaker 5 (26:01):
Me early in the morning before I went to school.
Speaker 1 (26:05):
Gi Joe was the first first cartoon I would see
on the television, and then after that Voltron came on,
so I became a big fan of Gi Joe and Voltron. Obviously,
being a military kid, I loved Gi Joe. I like
it was on, Like I was on that like at
eight years old. But the reason why Silverhawks stood out
(26:28):
to me is because I still had time to sit
down and chill at home. I hated going to practice
when I first started playing football. Practice scared me for
some strange reasons, so I would get sick. I start
crying when ThunderCats came on. But Silverhawks, I knew I
still had a half an hour, so I'd be happy
watching Silverhawks. And when Silverhawks came on, I was like
(26:50):
bopping the Silverhawks. But then when when ThunderCats came on,
I got a little upset. My stomach got upset. I
got sick because I knew that my dad was going
to be like, all right, it's time to go, and
we was going to go to Westview Field and I
was gonna have to do like bear crawls, you know,
and stuff like that. It was like, you know, it
(27:11):
was It was very very interesting time in my life.
Speaker 5 (27:14):
Eight years old.
Speaker 1 (27:15):
Yeah, that's about right, is why I start playing football.
Oh yeah, so there you go. There's your storez. Why
those those songs are those those shows are relevant to me?
But Silverhawks was my jam man, they need to do
a movie on it. That sounds like the O'Reilly of cartoons.
And speaking of which, pick up five courts of O'Reilly

The move, the cats all loose, feel the roll. ThunderCats
are loose. Thunder Thunder Thunder ThunderCats. Whoo thunder thunder thunder.
Speaker 1 (29:13):
I used to get sick, though, like sick to my body. Man,
when this came on, I knew I had to leave
for practice. I'd only get to see like the first
ten minutes of the show. Damn, I never got to
see the ending of ThunderCats.
Speaker 3 (29:25):
Man, what do you mean to leave for? This came
out in nineteen eighty five, year seven.
Speaker 1 (29:29):
Yeah, I was playing ball. I was playing ball. It went,
it went a while, It went for a while. Yeah,
to play that play, Yeah, it went for a while. Man,
I was playing ball. That's that's my that's my memory
of that opening song was my dad was gonna come
get me.
Speaker 5 (29:48):
I had to start putting my like what.
Speaker 1 (29:51):
Mike, I'd be putting my girdle on, crying like I
be crying. Look at that ThunderCats, like the intro song
coming on. They're putting all my like my girdle and
put because I had to. You know, back then, you know,
they didn't believe in not wearing pads. You wore pats
every single presice and and where.
Speaker 5 (30:12):
You ain't lying.
Speaker 1 (30:13):
So I'm putting on all these pads, just crying watching
ThunderCats like lion know why, but I all he got
to see like one like one or one maybe half
of us. The second segment of Like the second after
the out of the first commercial, that part of the
second part of the TV show, I had to leave
(30:36):
to go to practice, and I'd be so upset and
I'd be crying because I had to leave it go practice.
But I didn't get to finish ThunderCats either, So there
you go.

Speaking of the draft, we're gonna have some over unders
on Round one of the draft coming up in about
ten minutes from now. Mickey Loomis the Saints GM. He's
(31:47):
got an issue at quarterback. All of a sudden, Derek
Carr's got an injury. They're not quite sure what the
hell's going on. Here was the Saints GM yesterday.
Speaker 13 (31:55):
The question is about Derek Carr. He does have an
issue with his shoulder. We're hoping to get some resolution
and clarity on that in the near future.
Speaker 7 (32:02):
When we do, I'll report back to you.
Speaker 13 (32:04):
Otherwise, I don't have anything more.
Speaker 6 (32:06):
Well, they might have some clarity if Brady's mock draft
plays out.
Speaker 5 (32:09):
Why did he say future like that? If you play
that back again one more time, he doesn't even sound
like he's from America.
Speaker 13 (32:15):
The questions about Dery Carr. He does have an issue
with his shoulder. We're hoping he gets some resolution and
clarity on that in the near future. When we do,
I'll report back to you. Otherwise, I don't have anything more.
Speaker 5 (32:28):
Shorty sure, that's always won. Why is he talking like that?
He's got a weird little accent going, man, did that
bother anyone else? I was just trying to lock in
on him, but he just sounded a little off to me.
Speaker 13 (32:46):
I mean he was one more time, one more time
the questions about Derek Carr. He does have an issue
with his shoulder. We're hoping he gets some resolution and
clarity on that in the near future.
Speaker 7 (32:56):
When we do, I'll report back to you.
Speaker 13 (32:57):
Otherwise I don't have anything more.
Speaker 1 (33:00):
All right, I know what it is. It's not that
it's it's a foreign it's not foreign.
Speaker 5 (33:05):
It's more like learning assists like assists. Yeah, that's that's
And I'm not even trying to throw a shade. I'm
just being honest.
Speaker 8 (33:16):
Who do you think is quirky from life goes on?
Speaker 5 (33:19):
Oh yes, talking about come on?
Speaker 3 (33:22):
I thought that was actually more like snooty Like it's
almost like, yes, we've got a quarterback with an issue
with his shoulder.
Speaker 5 (33:30):
All right, we need to find a.
Speaker 1 (33:31):
Resolution really like like trump it again, play again?
Speaker 13 (33:37):
Yeah, the questions but Derek again, he does have an
issue with his shoulder. We're hoping he gets some resolution
and clarity on that in the near future.
Speaker 7 (33:44):
When we do, I'll report back to you.
Speaker 13 (33:46):
Otherwise I don't have anything more, so.
Speaker 5 (33:48):
Kind of it's a little mixed.
Speaker 6 (33:50):
Now let me let me tell you why this sounds
somewhat familiar because we hear it every day.
Speaker 8 (33:54):
He's from Oregon. You know what else is from Oregon?
Speaker 6 (33:59):
Don't even you not say future?
Speaker 5 (34:02):
If you couldn't say shoulder resolution, future very slowly, one
at a.
Speaker 8 (34:09):
Time, shoulder resolution.
Speaker 2 (34:13):
What was the last one future?
Speaker 8 (34:15):
Future? Future?
Speaker 7 (34:17):
Yeah, that's organ.
Speaker 6 (34:18):
Maybe that's it sounds like it's organ the first one.
Speaker 8 (34:21):
For sure, that's organ.
Speaker 5 (34:25):
I didn't know they had accents there.
Speaker 6 (34:27):
That's our friends on Rip City Radio. Yeah, you hear
that all the time. That's uh, that's an organ. We
figured it out.
Speaker 1 (34:34):
No, I just felt like in the middle of that
little explanation, it got real, got real shaky, And I
ain't want to claim being the smartest mother lover, but I'm.
Speaker 5 (34:47):
Just saying.
Speaker 7 (34:50):
I am the smartest man.
Speaker 1 (34:54):
I just saying, man, sound like he needed ah some
Rosetta stone to give it.
Speaker 6 (35:00):
Oh well, Mickey, you know, I think you're gonna get
some clarity if if you do take Jackson Dart as
Brady is projecting in his mock draft.
Speaker 7 (35:14):
I think we'll get some clarity in the quarterback situation there.
Speaker 1 (35:17):
It did sound more like what it was, though, when
when Brady said it the way that he said it,
I could I heard it back the way that Brady
heard it once he sit it out loud, So I
will say that I did clean it up a little
bit for me.
Speaker 5 (35:29):
So there you go. You have that. So the good
luck to New New Orleans by the way. Well, yeah, which,
by the way, if that's.
Speaker 3 (35:38):
You have this potential issue at quarterback, doesn't it make
sense to lock in on the guy after cam Warden
whoever that's Shador Sanders or Jackson Dart. Doesn't it make sense, yes,
instead of waiting until we hope he drops the back
end of the first Well, that doesn't help you.
Speaker 6 (35:54):
The Derek car injury stuff just doesn't add up to me.
I'm sorry, like he supposedly suffered it. It's some point
this past season. Now, all of a sudden it pops up.
There was reports he wanted to get traded. You know,
he wasn't happy with his contract. They reworked his deal,
and you know, like it just something doesn't smell it.
Doesn't smell right there, and so it would make sense
(36:16):
if you've got an opportunity to have.
Speaker 5 (36:17):
We were there, We got the same We got the
same smell.
Speaker 6 (36:20):
Yeah, you know, what's the old what's the old phrase?
You keep your ear to the grindstone, you know, so
you can know what's going on there. Lee kept his
face to it. And maybe he knows what's going on
in New Orleans.
Speaker 1 (36:36):
You know that Lee left some spies there too, because
there's some DNA all on the street.
Speaker 5 (36:40):
On the street.
Speaker 1 (36:44):
Talk about when he failed. You know, he still got
his skin on the ground. They probably an't cleaned it
up yet. Almost had some teeth, you know, fragments up
in there too. He got away, lucky, who's that belonged to?
It's the guy threw up.
Speaker 6 (37:00):
On Viignet's and hurricanes and am.
Speaker 5 (37:05):
What do you mean?
Speaker 8 (37:06):
What a dumb question?
Speaker 1 (37:09):
Lee?
Speaker 5 (37:09):
Why don't you drink so many hurricanes that morning?
Speaker 6 (37:11):
Bro?
Speaker 5 (37:12):
I was imagining you, dude, you were Why does anyone
why do they have to ask why he's drinking? At
any point? Ever's always got for it. I was imagined
brother taking eggs.
Speaker 1 (37:33):
Those taking eggs was fire and them hurricanes was just
flowing men.
Speaker 5 (37:37):
I was just.
Speaker 3 (37:39):
How would you describe your New Orleans appearance like the
entire week?
Speaker 5 (37:43):
For you?
Speaker 7 (37:46):
It looked like forced whitaker.
Speaker 6 (37:48):
Oh no, no, oh my god.
Speaker 5 (37:54):
Open one eye shut?
Speaker 8 (37:55):
No, no, you didn't have a walleyey.
Speaker 5 (38:03):
Wow.
Speaker 9 (38:03):
I'll say I'll say I was the best looking one
on Friday. I'll give myself that one, even though my
face was all start out ere.
Speaker 5 (38:14):
Well, it was funny. The bruise on the nose was
the best one though.
Speaker 8 (38:20):
And a cup of Ji on Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 6 (38:23):
Coming up next though, we're gonna attempt to try and
get in some over unders for the first round of
the NFL Draft.

just dropped some information on me that he does this
from time to time, where.
Speaker 5 (39:20):
This was a heat Man spinoff.
Speaker 6 (39:21):
Well, you find out more about Lee that he just
in the process of conversation, he just kind of drops
on you and you.
Speaker 8 (39:28):
Go, wait, what Lee explained this song and what it.
Speaker 5 (39:31):
Means to you.
Speaker 9 (39:31):
Skeleton Warriors also a Saturday Morning cartoon that my old
man had created based off of the imaginary game I
would play with myself in the backyard called Skeleton Warriors
because he had done the code in the Barbari in
the live action show. So I was always on set
and you know.
Speaker 1 (39:46):
Song is based off of you being in the backyard
playing with yourself.
Speaker 7 (39:49):
Yep, that's right.
Speaker 4 (39:51):
Oh my gosh, yeah, man, you were away at a
pee wee Herman, Skeleton Warriors looking up its great toy line.
Speaker 9 (40:03):
Semi successful Saturday Morning cartoons.
Speaker 6 (40:06):
So a game video played in the backyard became a
TV show and a toy line as a kid, and
you just sought to bring that up now out of nowhere.
Speaker 5 (40:15):
Barber, was my my jam on Saturday.
Speaker 6 (40:18):
That wasn't your game wasn't written about you had a
show written about?
Speaker 5 (40:21):
Oh no, I get it. That's that's pretty. This is
this is saying it was created by Gary Goddard.
Speaker 9 (40:27):
That's correct. Yeah, Gary Goddard and Robert Landmark Entertainment. Gary
Goddard is a is a famous theme park designer, also
did Captain Power. But yeah, my old man, you know,
my old man was the right hand man to h
Landmark Entertainment, which produced and created Skeleton.
Speaker 5 (40:45):
Orders, Skeleton war Look.
Speaker 1 (40:49):
At my child out back playing with hisself, Skeleton Warriors.
Speaker 5 (40:54):
Get that out of their hands?
Speaker 1 (40:56):
Ould not that he
