Speaker 1 (01:00):
Danny G.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
Hillodies each hour and the best of and yesterday. I
know there's a lot of action because of the NFL
Draft NBA playoffs. If you missed, over promised our bonus podcast.
It was a lot of fun. We had thirty minutes
with the one minute man KFC from Barstool Kevin Clancy.
Really fun hang. So that is available right now.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
Wherever you get your pods or on the Fox Sports
Radio YouTube page.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
Yeah, I missed that and the draft because I was
watching The Connors finale last night.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
Just kidding.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
That was two nights ago. And it ends with what
Dan Connor looking at the camera, He's like, good eyed America.
I just saw the highlights, said what happened to my wife?

Speaker 1 (01:39):
Roseanne?

Speaker 2 (01:40):
Yeah, I tell you, I'm not you know, I'm not
vouching for Roseanne. I'm sure she said some dumb things
over the years, but when she left that show, I
thought they had two weeks tops. They dragged that crap
on for years, like the Office.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
Yeah, who else was watching it?

Speaker 3 (01:53):
Man?

Speaker 2 (01:53):
I never heard a peep about that show. But again,
lots of fun stuff to get to. We'll tell you
what you need to want on weekend. But you're right
on the show. The Connors finale. I had to see
it was trending because barely the every main character other
than obviously Roseanne is in the living room and they
all say like good night, like they all leave, and
then it just John Goodman there and then he says

(02:14):
good night. He looks at the screen. He breaks the
fourth breaks the fourth.

Speaker 3 (02:17):
Wall with that.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
Uh they still have that same blanket on the couch.
Huh Like, yeah, that thing must smell. I think my stank.
The stank stank. So your observations wrapping it up, everything
that you observed last night are NFL draft version of
things that made you go hmmm. They said the long
runway the furniture store they were sitting in and they

(02:38):
had to run all the way tapped the logo Tyler
Booker stood out. The NYG pointed that out that he
was prancing through the hall twelfth pick of the Cowboys.
But Tyler Booker running through stood out to me. And
no Shadoor, which we're going to talk about in a minute.
But what else we got here to wrap it up?

Speaker 1 (02:56):
We got Sean in Sacktown. Sean, what's up? My friend?

Speaker 4 (02:59):
Just real quick, fellas man, thank you for kicking me
off through a break too real quick. I think you
guys can't huck en up how great Danny G's Raiders
have had this offseason.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
Man.

Speaker 4 (03:09):
I thought picking up Johnty was a perfect add. I
know a lot of my Raider, but he's up here
in Norcow. Were just relieved they didn't reach with Shador Sanders,
which would be a total Raider thing to do in
the past. So you got Pete Carroll, you get an
O line up there, and I think they got to
make it for a little playoff underdog this year, Fellas,
y'all keep it, y'all, keep me rocking, man. I'll be
up here with Rob Parker catching the A's game. Man.

(03:30):
We'll report back on Monday.

Speaker 1 (03:31):
Nice.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
So that's a great place to check out a game.
So enjoy uh genty to the Raiders. I think that's
a great fit and a great night for the short Kings.
Because what is he like five to nine tops. He's
a small dude, man, but he's built like a brick.
I mean, I'm just repeating what Danny said months ago,
but it's so true. You said he's he's he's ripped
like DK metcalf Ty's.

Speaker 5 (03:56):
They said the way it was described to me. If
you know who Napoleon cough in former Raider running back
super fast, right, yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:04):
He has that speed.

Speaker 5 (04:05):
But then like Bo Jackson, he could run guys over
because he's so cut and big.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
So even though he's a short.

Speaker 5 (04:11):
Guy compared to other NFL players, that doesn't show on
the field. Man, he's like a Saquon Barkley type freak.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
Like Cove said, a big night for short kings. I
did think it was cool, though. You know a lot
of times when there's like product placement, you roll your
eyes and like I look at this trash like you
it's like I roll ye. Yeah, I thought the lid's
mirror was a cool thing.

Speaker 1 (04:29):
I did.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
I thought it was a really cool way to incorporate
you know how, I like red carpet. Sometimes you'll have
like the shoecam and women are like, what shoe was
she wearing? Watching the guys grab the hat they changed
the logo of the pedestal, and just watching the guy
smile putting on his new hat. I thought that was
a really cool I guess you would say natural way
to incorporate a sponsor. Incorporate the sponsor, but also see

(04:52):
a little side of their personality.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
I think that's how they put on their hat. Yeah,
and how happy they really were, you know. Yeah, added
some fun too, for sure.

Speaker 2 (04:59):
Speaking of hat, I thought another observation the fans of
Green Bay that were there when Matthew Golden got picked.
I thought the owner the fact that he admitted, like,
for the first time in like decades, we went with
a wide receiver, wide receiver, receive you out of take
a listen.

Speaker 6 (05:20):
With a twenty third pick in the twenty twenty five
NFL Draft, the thirteen time world champion Green Bay Packers
for the first time since two thousand and two, draft
the wide receiver Matthew Golden.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
I don't know, And at that point Aaron Rodgers was like, yeah,
I know, for the first time since two thousand you know.

Speaker 7 (05:44):
Also happened at that point, like three fourths of the
crowd left because they're all like local Packer fans were like,
it's going about ten o'clock now, we got.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
To get up for work tomorrow, so yeah, we're gonna
head out, I thought.

Speaker 2 (05:53):
The I thought the cool part of that was when
he then grabbed the mic and he's like, yo, we're
gonna say green ber on three are you ready, one, two,
three in the whole crowd Green Bay.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
So I mean, it's got to.

Speaker 2 (06:04):
Be cool to be drafted in the home, in the
home stadium, in the home city, no doubt.

Speaker 1 (06:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (06:11):
Absolutely. It doesn't get bigger than that. So a big night.
Lives were changed, as we discussed yesterday, the franchises, stars
were changed as I didn't see any There was no girlfriend, you.

Speaker 1 (06:26):
Know, I thought so much.

Speaker 5 (06:27):
I thought, oh, there was a w NBA player that
was with Pierce boarding him.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
But yeah, I thought, hey, maybe I'm into like middle
aged women. Though I thought Jackson Dart's mom was in
great shape for a mom.

Speaker 1 (06:38):
Did you see her?

Speaker 2 (06:39):
Was that his mom who looked like she was like
miss CrossFit? Did you see her?

Speaker 1 (06:44):
I did? I know? I assume.

Speaker 2 (06:45):
I assume it's his mom, but I don't know for sure.
Clear the family stays in shape, yea. I assumed his
dad was the bald guy and the mom was the
like the inn shape woman.

Speaker 1 (06:54):
I could be wrong.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
What did you notice about Shador in his body language?
I think he everything he said afterward, I respect it.
He wasn't pounting about anything, which was nice, you know,
but it had to be embarrassing for him and the family. Well,
as you say humbleness and then your mom will correct
you and say, Steven, you idiot, it's humility. Maybe I said,

(07:17):
maybe that's what he needs. Maybe that's a blessing in disguise.
Colin Cowherd on The Herd today, who you know the
face of our network? Yeah, I think we can only
do with stars. Colin Cowherd went on a pretty cool rant.
So I said, I just want to pull ten seconds
of this. He talked about perhaps primetime and his kid,

(07:37):
humility is a thing, and you really have He hasn't
played one game in the NFL, and what was the
sign say in his draft room like legendary. Yeah, legendary.
Well it's part of his motto. Yeah, I know, but
take a look, yeah, Shane and everything. Colin earlier today,
Can we just go.

Speaker 7 (07:53):
Back in society where hard work matters and humility.

Speaker 1 (07:57):
Is not uncool? It's humility the worst thing.

Speaker 3 (08:00):
Put legendary everywhere.

Speaker 1 (08:01):
How about you play a game?

Speaker 2 (08:03):
One Just give me one game and then you can
put legendary all over your house.

Speaker 3 (08:07):
I don't care one game.

Speaker 2 (08:09):
He hasn't played one game in the National Football League,
and there is something listen no one else had their
own room, right, everyone else was either with their family
on you know, crappy recliners at home.

Speaker 1 (08:20):
Althoy're not all hanging backstage.

Speaker 2 (08:21):
He in fairness, it's like a family sort of model
that he's running with. And the model was be legendary,
but he's wearing that legendary chain and legendary has become
the model, but it's be legendary and it's meant to
emphasize his aspirations to achieve greatness all aspects of life,
football and personal life.

Speaker 1 (08:41):
So it's like a it's almost like a family. Man.

Speaker 2 (08:44):
I get it, But I totally understand what Colin's saying too,
and that's exactly what we were saying prior to this
with maybe he rubbed people the wrong way. I mean,
there was a lot of buzz about him being a
little too cocky and a little too big for the moment.
Trust me, Prime is a little sense about it. Did
you see how he went at dan Orlowski. Dan Orlovsky
has been a big.

Speaker 3 (09:04):
Fan all along.

Speaker 2 (09:06):
He criticized one little thing like maybe this is why
he's dropped down, and Prime went out him on social
media like you I thought we were you know, I
thought we were together and I thought you had our back.
And Orlovsky's a nice dude. He seems like a fair guy.
I mean it's fair to speculate, YEA, right, that does.
Why didn't he go? And we heard a lot of
buzz about him being cocky? And we talked about the

(09:28):
interview process. We know the guy's got potential, We know
what he's capable of. You know, he has the potential
to be great. You know what his dad did. That
doesn't necessarily mean anything. Yeah, but mel Piper number one.
What we don't know is the interview process and how
he rumbs people or how he comes across. Well, let
me ask you if some kid came in here. You
know it's I hate to say, but we're not kids anymore.

(09:49):
Some twenty something year old kid comes into Fox Sports
and he's like, yo, I'm going to change the culture here.
I'm the man that could be interpreted a yo. I
like his fire. I want him part of this team.
Or who the f do you think you are? So
it really is in the ear of the beholder, the
eye of the beholder.

Speaker 8 (10:09):
Let me ask you guys this because this is one
of my thoughts in a league that is so dependent
on quarterback that we saw it in this draft.

Speaker 1 (10:18):
Where cam Ward's number one.

Speaker 8 (10:19):
Yeah, who is the eighth best prospect by Daniel Jeremiah
on this draft board. Throughout the draft process, we've heard
that the six quarterbacks that went last year all would
have gone before cam Ward, you know, in this draft.
So what point is it that it's just he's not
up to that level, Like there've always been quarterbacks to
that point. And I completely agree that there are things

(10:41):
that can rub a team the wrong way, and if
you're fifty to fifty about someone, but I just feel
it's such the total package and if he can't play
and everything else comes with it, then you're gonna fall
Like teams weren't even willing. Tennessee took a risk in
taking cam Ward because they feel they need a quarterback.
Nobody else want to do that in the first round
outs of the Giants trading up to try to get Shador.

(11:04):
I mean, at some point, you can point to everything,
but you gotta look within Dan.

Speaker 2 (11:09):
That's a great point because we've talked about how, Hey,
a guy that's been in the league one or two
years that has sort of struggled, why we quick to
write him off and automatically think just because someone's in
the draft this year. Like you said, they ranked last
year's six qbs that got drafted ahead of cam Ward
who went number one. Dude, when you saw Pittsburgh pass
on him, yeah, and just really fun when they passed

(11:32):
on him, I am immediately thought, well, man, they must
be banking on Rogers.

Speaker 1 (11:37):
Leggs must be all in that basket.

Speaker 2 (11:38):
But also fundamentally like to think we have other needs
at other positions, and we don't think Chador is the guy.
If you're taking a non when I say sexy position,
if it's not a quarterback, running back or wide receiver,
when your team picks an O line or you know,
I think it absolutely it shows up the team thinking bigger.

(12:01):
If you think on the positive side of things though,
maybe that's exactly what Sanders needs, which is a reality check, right,
And it's the flash and it really benefits him in
the long run because it forces him to step up
in every way called some humility, some some extra work.
It's the flashy pick versus the realist, sexible pick, a

(12:22):
sensible pick. And I've joked with you about how in baseball,
you know that always happens when the team has a
managerial opening and the team always wants the new manager
to be like a former player everyone liked. And it's
like that, why don't we always think that that's the
guy that's gonna be able to lead your team. Every
franchise in baseball manager gets fired. You know what they say,

(12:44):
you know, is there someone from our World Series winning
team from like a decade ago or so that could
lead this team? That's the pick that like today, if
the Steelers had chosen Shador, we would all be talking
about Pittsburgh then the Steelers today.

Speaker 1 (12:57):
But they said, you know what, that's not what we.

Speaker 2 (13:00):
Need in this moment. And again, humility or not, Hey,
humility or not. Everybody's talking about him. So he does
have that going for Right, is there a party that
says you'd do it to yourself? But hey, he accepts
that responsibility and that pressure. Because I said this, two
places people were last night, right, they were all backstage
and what looked like in Ashley Furniture warehouse chilling out together,

(13:22):
or they were at home with their families on you know,
middle class family recliners. Chador was the one guy that
had a special set up a party room. I mean,
aren't you already now with that in that moment isolating yourself.

Speaker 5 (13:36):
In id a sound proofed room and a sound man
for his concert he put on in there.

Speaker 2 (13:41):
So that's saying and that's what rubbed people the wrong
way a little bit, but that's also who he is.
But maybe this is what he needs and this is
what puts them where he needs to.

Speaker 5 (13:48):
Be to the noise, or does he just not care
because he heard all this going into the draft and
he did rub some teams the wrong way in the
interview process. But to Eb's point, when you look at
his numbers and which teams he played against, it wasn't
really comparable to Jackson Dart because of the competition Jackson

(14:10):
Dart went up against. And so Rich I saw a
great article last night that said his numbers matched more
closely to Brock Purty than than Jackson than to Jackson Dart.
So I mean, it's not that Sadors could can't be
a great player. Is a great athlete, And like your
boy said, even though they're coming down on or Labsky
right now, he's the one that said I think he

(14:31):
has elite field vision and he's a great athlete. We
just don't know enough about him because of the competition
and the bad o line that he had.

Speaker 2 (14:40):
Yeah, we talked about that he's hard to evaluate. It's
like a nice way of saying he's a he's an
empty fajita, all sizzle, no no substance, no meat.

Speaker 1 (14:51):
You know, just a question mark, like you just don't know.

Speaker 2 (14:55):
But I'm not saying he's an empty feta. I'm just
saying that he's a lot of flashes. Like when that
waiter comes out with that salz INFIHI, everybody looks like ooh.

Speaker 1 (15:03):
In old fashion with smoke that comes at it.

Speaker 2 (15:05):
Oh, but you know, but maybe it's not all that great.

Speaker 1 (15:08):
We don't know. I haven't had it yet, you know.

Speaker 8 (15:10):
Daniel Jeremiah told the story to the guys on Barstool
about Paxton Lynch, former Broncos first round back, and he
said that he went to the bowl game I believe
it was that Memphis was playing and noticed that Paxton
Lynch wasn't talking to other coaches or other teammates on
the sidelines. It was kind of by himself that there

(15:32):
wasn't like this engagement process. We laugh about the Draft
Day movie and the theory of like how many players
went to your birthday party?

Speaker 1 (15:40):
The whole deal.

Speaker 8 (15:40):
We laugh at the questions that are asked these players
in the combine. You know, if you were couldn't wear
blue jeans, what color pants do you wear? What animal
would you be? But all of that is taken into account,
so to also think of everything that comes with shador
like yeah, plays into it like it has to.

Speaker 2 (15:58):
I mean, I talk to the coffee did we hear
Montu and I talked about how employers I saw an
article about the coffee test where they offer you a
cup of coffee during the interview and they see if
you throw out your cup of coffee at the end
or you leave it there for someone else to throw
it away, like it looks like little quarterback is a
super special position.

Speaker 1 (16:15):
Obviously a leadership position.

Speaker 2 (16:17):
Too, where you know, are you the type of guy
that's gonna rub people the wrong way or you the
type of guy that's gonna that's gonna lead by example,
where the players want to fight for you, and when
you're separating yourself like you're already the superstar, it's kind
of hard to be one with the rest of the team,
you know, and it puts you in a different place,
like do you want to fight for the guy that

(16:37):
separates himself from the pack, or do you want to
fight for the guy that's just one of the guys.
That's what made me love that's Axwell Harston, who the
Buffalo Bills picked, because not only did he come out
with enthusiasm and you know, it just seems such like
it's such a sincere, loving dude. He was bro hugging
and really excited for everyone else, and there was a

(16:58):
part of him that you felt like, that's a guy
you want on your team.

Speaker 1 (17:03):
Yeah, you know. I don't know if anyone else has
heard this.

Speaker 2 (17:05):
Second shout out to our buddy Michael Yo today listening
in Vegas.

Speaker 1 (17:09):
He's here. Is he your ghost writer? No?

Speaker 2 (17:12):
No, No, he's a He's a Miami guy, so he's
a big rich has had some good points lately. I
think he's getting it from Michael Yo. Yo said, he's
a big cam Ward guy, and a big mistake should
or made perhaps is that he did a workout with
cam Ward and a lot of people from that workout
came away saying that cam Ward looked a lot better

(17:33):
than shador in that in that workout together. So you
know that's another thing too, Like you don't want to
go to the bar with a better looking to do
trying to pick up women.

Speaker 1 (17:40):
Right, But you know what we're let's all make this clear.

Speaker 2 (17:43):
We all grew up fans of his dad, right, and
we go all got excited when we started seeing him play.
Anyone's yeah, I don't think anyone's rooting for the guy.
I mean not rooting for the guy. We're all rooting
for the guy. So we're just speculating on, well, what
is it then, because we're all rooting for him. And
if I were to say Rich, I'm not one to great.
I think the teams that stand out are the Giants,

(18:05):
And we said that yesterday.

Speaker 1 (18:06):
They made some sweet moves.

Speaker 2 (18:08):
The Giants with Carter and Dart, the Titans with Ward,
the Jags with Hunter and Danny g your Raiders, Man genty, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (18:18):
You can't.

Speaker 2 (18:18):
You cannot include your Raiders with some sweet moves or
something to be excited about, especially when you think about
the other moves they made this offseason. So who are
you most excited about, Rich? Or are there is there
another team I'm forgetting about? I say Giants, the Titans,
Jags Raiders forty nine Ers took Mikhael Williams out of Georgia.

(18:39):
He listen, Edge Rusher opposite Nick Bosa. Some liked it,
something didn't, So listen. Everyone has their needs, right, everybody
has their needs. But as far as like sexy, I
think those are the teams that stood out like ooh
those are those are some nice moves. Now, I was
gonna say Brandon who works here, who's a big Niners fan,
that I'll be all be truthful. He's more knowledgeable than
me when you dig down deeper like he's he's a
fanat he's a maniac.

Speaker 7 (18:59):
In fact, he did not like to pick right. I
was saying, yeah, no. He immediately after came out he says,
I hate this pick ah.

Speaker 1 (19:06):
But then again, you know what I saw it float around.

Speaker 2 (19:08):
I put on my Instagram story if you want to
see it at rich Davis the clip of those fans
saying Josh Alan we wanted Josh Rosen. And then there's
a clip right after that attached to the same clip
where it's the Chiefs fan saying Patrick Mahomes.

Speaker 1 (19:22):
There's no one dress team will never win. So you
know every year the swings and misses people miss it happens, which.

Speaker 5 (19:29):
Quite a few of the mock drafts leading up to
this had your Niners going with Will Johnson, the corner
from Michigan.

Speaker 1 (19:36):
Now if I saw that too, he was.

Speaker 5 (19:37):
Injured last season, but aside from that, he is a
great defensive back.

Speaker 1 (19:42):
He's available right now.

Speaker 5 (19:43):
That's one of the other things that makes the top
of the second round here exciting because will the Browns
right off the bat go with Shador And once we
get then to the Raiders at thirty seven, would they
go with Shador to sit behind Geno Smith? Because that's
kind of the comp That was the comp for Shador
yesterday on a lot of the shows, was his ceiling
is kind of like Gino Smith right now?

Speaker 1 (20:05):
You'd be pumped for that, Danny gen No.

Speaker 5 (20:07):
I mean I think the Raiders. I think the Raiders
have some bigger needs. They definitely need some help in
their defensive backfield. If Will Johnson is sitting there at
thirty seven, I would go that route. But I haven't
been this hyped about a second round for a long time.

Speaker 2 (20:21):
You know what tight ends, Dan Byer is the true
first time this many tight ends in the first round.
I believe I heard that stat being thrown around.

Speaker 1 (20:28):
We had two at least two yeah, yeah, Loveland and Loveland. Yeah.

Speaker 8 (20:33):
And there there are a couple of other tight ends
too in this draft that are that could be a
variety could be picked in the first fifteen picks or so.
Mason Taylor of LSU is one of the other some
big wide receivers.

Speaker 2 (20:47):
We've all noticed over the last decade the increased role
offensively of tight ends in the NFL. So you know
some of these guys looking to make a Buck Bowers
type of impact.

Speaker 8 (20:55):
Right, true, but it hasn't gone to the Jimmy Graham like.
The more you block, I think is more intriguing. Now
you love a Swiss army life like Tyler Warren as well,
but like you have to you now have to line
up and be able to hit somebody.

Speaker 2 (21:11):
You want to see a guy like George Kittle mo
people over and look like a maniac.

Speaker 8 (21:14):
Ye, yeah, I think you know he's obviously been what
Gronk is, obviously the standard bearer.

Speaker 7 (21:20):
But for sure, do you Mason Taylor a very famous
father and famous aunt. Do you know Tim the toolman Taylor? No,
it's his His aunt is Joy Taylor and uh. And
then her brother is of course, UH give me flink
on his first name, Jason, Jason Taylor, the Mason Taylor.

Speaker 1 (21:36):
I've been watching for a few years. The guy's really good,
really good.

Speaker 2 (21:39):
Look at that talent in the film talent and the fam.
So to wrap this all up, because we got games
to play and we can hob nobn.

Speaker 1 (21:45):
I think the any g hit it perfectly.

Speaker 2 (21:47):
So all the things that happened yesterday make today's round
two even more exciting. I'm gonna be I'm gonna sound
like I'm the host of the Bachelor. This is the
most exciting round two ever. I've never cared about round
two as much as I've cared about this year's round two.
So I wrap up the conversation with this question. Look
at the beginning of round two, where does Shador go?

Speaker 1 (22:09):
What do you think? Danny? Where? Where did you think?
You think?

Speaker 2 (22:12):
You know? There's a lot of speculation too, and a
lot of people. I don't know if people just want
to see drama. I guess who think that he might
not go at all? I I agree with that the.

Speaker 5 (22:21):
Saints are coming up at forty, so it wouldn't surprise
if he slips down past the Browns and the Raiders.
That would put him the fortieth pick overall to the Saints.

Speaker 2 (22:30):
All right, Round two we start with Cleveland. Houston's got
their quarterback Titans, no clif Raiders picks in there?

Speaker 1 (22:41):
What about the Raiders at thirty seven? You have no interest?
Gino is like, you like? Is that?

Speaker 5 (22:47):
It's not that I don't have any interest if Will
Johnson is there. Yeah, I was saying I would go
cornerback first.

Speaker 2 (22:52):
But I'm saying with Tom Brady and his relationship with
Primetime and the fact that you got Genty, you got
brock Bowers, you're building a pretty sweet all defence, and Gino,
you know.

Speaker 5 (23:03):
Too many holes on the defensive side of the ball
for the Raiders right now.

Speaker 2 (23:06):
Yeah, I think he's going to go to the Raiders, think,
and I think he fits in with the Raiders nice.

Speaker 1 (23:11):
I don't know. He just feels like he'd look good
in silver and black.

Speaker 8 (23:15):
I tell Danny a month ago, I think the Raiders
are destined to take Jalen Milroe because that is the
chip Kelly Yep, Harrol Uh. You know Pete Carroll would
always take shots with Russell Wilson. They take four or
five shots in a game, but you'd love the mobility
of Jalen Milroe.

Speaker 2 (23:33):
I have a crazy question if somehow, some way Chador
doesn't go to the Raiders at thirty seven, the fifth
pick in the second round, if he again goes past
the Saints without getting picked, which would seem crazy, If
he doesn't go with pick forty to the Saints, well,
did he pay rent for two nights of the party
room or no? How does that work? We have it,
they haven't booked again. How does that even work? I

(23:55):
hope it's not like rental cars where you add a
day and it's like triple the charge. Are there New
York fans thinking could he slip to pick forty two
with the Jets? And the Jets have justin field? But
that's that's really sort of an experiment in itself. No,
I mean, you paid him for two years. But there's
gonna be a team eventually, That's like, why the hell not? Right,

(24:21):
I haven't think the forty nine ers the pick after that.
There's gonna be a team eventually, That's like, why the
hell not? Even if it's for trade reasons. I'm going
and Danny's already expressed that the Raiders have other needs,
but for fun with the Tom Brady connection isolations, I'm
thinking Raiders.

Speaker 1 (24:37):
I am just because timing of it. I'm thinking Raiders.

Speaker 2 (24:40):
Selflessly, because we do the show every day. Danny's a
big Raiders fan, so I want to see Danny live
and die on the Shadoor rumors. And is he gonna
start the minute Gino has a bad game, It's gonna
be like put.

Speaker 5 (24:50):
In Nah, don't wish that on me. I'd rather go
out of Alabama. But look at the Browns have thirty
three and thirty six. You're telling me with one of
those two picks right at the top of the around,
they're not gonna go Shador.

Speaker 1 (25:01):
Thirty three, thirty six? And what are the Saints again? Forty? Yeah,
that's true.

Speaker 2 (25:06):
That could be it too, And let's not discount someone
could trade. It could be a team right now, that's said,
that's slept on it, which makes tonight the most exciting
round two of The Bachelor. I mean the NFL Draft
ever in drafts history.

Speaker 1 (25:20):
I threw out the Dolphins earlier. Today.

Speaker 8 (25:22):
I imagine this quarterback room of Tua, Zach Wilson, and
Shador Sanders.

Speaker 1 (25:28):
Like that's I mean, that's pick forty eight.

Speaker 2 (25:31):
You know, not to be all over the place and
we're running so late. I'm so sorry, guys, but did
you see Tommy DeVito has demanded a trade.

Speaker 1 (25:37):
That's not a joke.

Speaker 2 (25:38):
He has demanded a trade from the Giants because now
that the quarterback room, he did not get told ahead
of time that they were thinking about a quarterback. So
now with Russell Wilson, Jameis Winston are dart Tommy DeVito out.
So take your gobba ghoul, your fresh mutzel and get it.
You're gonna drop him off. We're gonna drop him off

(25:58):
in Newark Airport. Well you're in New York the best cutlets.
What's alright? So guys, we have swiggies to give away,
and it's your chance to win one.

Speaker 1 (26:07):

Speaker 2 (26:08):
The coveted swiggy are Stainles steel water bottle that everybody's
talking about. It's midnight black, says Fox Sports Radio on it.

Speaker 1 (26:15):

Speaker 2 (26:16):
Your chance to win one by simply playing Covino or
Belichick O game.

Speaker 1 (26:21):
That truth is they or him? Apparently we're the same guy.

Speaker 2 (26:23):

win a really get great prize and a nice way
to start the weekend. So the numbers eight seven, seven
ninety nine out fox. If you want to play, all right,

Speaker 5 (27:59):
The network got big write up today in a trade
online trade magazine and it was just glowing review about
the coverage.

Speaker 2 (28:06):
Yeah, props the Fox Sports Radio and thank you everybody
listening for being part of it.

Speaker 1 (28:25):
And it's time to play Covino or Belichick.

Speaker 3 (28:27):
Let's go Steve Covino when Bill Belichick has some things
in common.

Speaker 1 (28:32):
The chicks, the man.

Speaker 3 (28:34):
They both have younger girlfriends named Jordan.

Speaker 1 (28:37):
The man if that was my daughter.

Speaker 3 (28:38):
We both have a powerful presence in the sports world.

Speaker 1 (28:42):
We're harder, so you can do that. When you're seventy two.

Speaker 3 (28:45):
You tell us, is it Steve Cavino or Bill Belichick.

Speaker 1 (28:50):
I'm not mad at him at all. I want to
know what it is. You know what it is. The
similarities are endless. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (28:57):
The only difference is Bill is like five or six
years older than Covino.

Speaker 1 (29:03):
Five or six I was Sam, Danny, do you have
a contestants lined up?

Speaker 5 (29:08):
We are going to meet our contestant in just a moment.
I'm gonna let buy or pick here. All right, DV
would you love to travel to beautiful Missoula, Montana, Las Vegas, Nevada,
West Palm Beach, Florida, or Temple, Texas.

Speaker 1 (29:20):
Let's go to West Palm Wes Palm Is Mike Pikey,
I'm for good.

Speaker 3 (29:28):
Read to.

Speaker 1 (29:30):
Mike really quick. What do you do for a living
there in Florida? I'm work in a cemetery. Oh, I
mean Florida, as they say, where New Yorker is going
to die?

Speaker 5 (29:39):
All right, here is how Covino. Wait, this is this
is how Covino or Belichick works. I've done extensive research
on coach and Coveno and their young girlfriends. Each member
of the crew is going to read a fun fact,
and then you gotta tell us is it Steve Covino
or Bill Belichick? You have five chances to get too correct?

Speaker 1 (29:58):
Are you ready?

Speaker 2 (30:00):
I'm ready?

Speaker 1 (30:00):
Okay. Rich Davis is going to read the first fun fact.

Speaker 2 (30:03):
All right, this guy, whether it's Belichick or Cavino, there,
Jordan once had a pet goat named Buckbuck. Cavino or
Belichick there, Jordan once had a pet goat named buck Buck.

Speaker 1 (30:19):
If I let's go check, No.

Speaker 2 (30:24):
Yeah, actually my girlfriend, Yeah, she lived on a farm,
seriously had goats and stuff.

Speaker 1 (30:29):
Yeah, oh god, Jordan, Oh my, I didn't know this.

Speaker 2 (30:32):
Yeah, she bounced around, but I know she lived on
a farm.

Speaker 1 (30:35):
She always talks about his goat she had. All right,
don't know she has this goat? What's up? Yeah, the
greatest of all time goat boy.

Speaker 5 (30:45):
Yeah, don't worry, Mike, you got four more chances to
get too right.

Speaker 1 (30:48):
All right. Dan Bayer is going to read the second
fun fact. All right.

Speaker 8 (30:51):
He once said, quote, you get the job done, or
you don't end quote. Oh Covino or Belichie.

Speaker 5 (31:04):
Yes, all right, so you're on the board halfway to
a swiggy and yeah, Covino has said some very thoughtful
things on the air before, but never that line.

Speaker 1 (31:13):
Yeah, never that line specifically, great job, all right, spot
has the third fun fact.

Speaker 9 (31:17):
I feel like this is going to be as tough
as the goat question because they're both equally have huge personalities.

Speaker 1 (31:23):
Uh.

Speaker 9 (31:23):
He was on a reality TV program in the early
two thousands. A lot going on for both of them
in the early two thousands. It is a Cavino or Belichick.

Speaker 1 (31:34):
Yeah, that's correct. We have a winner, Mike and west
Pombe Florida too. Correct there, that means weird male.

Speaker 3 (31:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (31:44):
I was on a show called The Empire Girls, and
I was like the only Empire boy. And that show
aired on Style and remember Style was Style and E
the E Network, And now it's on like Amazon and
my daughter's friends find it and make fun of her
about it.

Speaker 1 (31:59):
It's right, it's horribly embarrassing.

Speaker 2 (32:01):
I remember your ex wife was on it, which is
why you were on it, and you guys were fighting
about moving to New York and LA and I was like,
what premonitions of that going wrong.

Speaker 5 (32:09):
It was horrible, But man, we got a Hey, Mike,
we're gonna mail out a shiny sea in our stainless
steel swiggy to Florida for you.

Speaker 2 (32:17):
Okay, isn't your ex wife on the Real Housewives of
Encino because you know.

Speaker 1 (32:22):
Now I don't want to talk about her. Thanks? Yeah, Hey,
great job, Mike, TB.

Speaker 8 (32:28):
What's an emptb smooth transition? Covino's ex wife to me.
You brought her up, rich, you brought up this time
right now. It's the two ends of the spectrum of
loving Cavino, you know, the ex wife, and then me
on that other end. The President Trump loves Shador Sanders.
Danny read the tweet earlier. But the President not a
Clay Matthews fake out job that we saw last night.

Speaker 1 (32:51):
The real deal is.

Speaker 8 (32:52):
The President took to social media supporting the Colorado quarterback
who wasn't picked in the first round of last night's draft.
The President stated Shadora has quote phenomenal genes and is
set for greatness end quote, while adding he should be
picked immediately.

Speaker 2 (33:09):
When he says phenomenal jeens he's talking Travis Matthew. I
believe I think women jeens not just for golf anymore,
super stretchy in light.

Speaker 8 (33:18):
The Commissioner of the NFL, Roger Goodell, is on the
Pat McAfee show, mentioning some possible changes that could be coming.
Christmas Day is going to have a triple header basically
every year. The Chiefs wanted to be a part of
it every year. The NFL said, no, that's not going
to be the case. Thanksgiving Day games, we'll have more
of the traditional kickoff times that we see on Sundays
of an NFL season, and Goodell also said that the

(33:39):
first round of the NFL Draft could have shortened time
limits coming up right now, each team given ten minutes
to make that first round selection. Goodell offered up the
suggestion of possibly seven minutes, with the situation possibly adding
two more minutes if teams needed to make the pick.
Former Vikings running back Adrian Peterson arrested on DUI Chargers

(34:00):
early this morning in Minnesota following attending a Vikings draft party. Tonight,
in the NBA Playoffs, the Celtics and Magic wal tip
at the top of the hour. Jason Tatum will play
tonight for Boston against Orlando Pacers and Bucks at eight
Eastern Lakers and Tea Wolves nine thirty Eastern time. Grizzlies
won of have John Morant tomorrow in Game four against
OKC Thunder up in that series three games to none.

(34:22):
Family of five star USC recruit Elijah Arena says the
eighteen year old is out of his induced coma following
a car accident early Thursday. Guys, back to you, Thank
good news.

Speaker 1 (34:31):
Thanks TV. And by the way, that because we talk
so much NFL.

Speaker 2 (34:34):
Yeah, at one point the Grizzlies were like, so in
the lead of that game, You're like, all right, they're
back in the series.

Speaker 1 (34:39):
They were up, but like twenty hugely. I turned twenty seven.
When John Moran got hurt. I took my mind off it.

Speaker 2 (34:46):
I stopped even looking at the updates while I was
watching the draft, And my goodness, jaws out they win,
They lose the game wild down three zero. So thank you,
Dan Byern and Adrian Peterson story too. How many times
were going to hear that, especially guys that make money, Hey,
take an uber, take an uber? What's so hard about that?

Speaker 1 (35:03):
Hey?

Speaker 2 (35:03):
Fox Sports Radio Nation, if you're going out partying tonight,
taking over, take an uber home a lift? Whatever, call
somebody all right, Well, hey, we got weekend hobnobbing coming
up in a few minutes.

the fountain of youth? Twenty one points last night seven
for seventeen and uh Clips, sure up, Clips, You're up
two games to one over the Nuggies and everybody's buzzing
about the healthiest, the best we've seen him in years.
Are they buzzing or is that fake piped in crowd?
I think it might be that, but still he's playing great.

(37:13):
So congrats to Kawhi Leonard for being our Express pro
pro of the week again. I'm Steve Cavino. That is
Rich Davis, Danny g is here, Sam Spot And now
it's time for weekend hobnobbing.

Speaker 1 (37:27):
Living for the weekend.

Speaker 3 (37:29):
You're winning bets for talking points. If you get stuck socializing,
you ever done anything dangerous?

Speaker 1 (37:34):
You ever dance with the devil in the pale line?

Speaker 3 (37:37):
Friday brings us weekend hob No.

Speaker 1 (37:41):
All right, so you know I love me a good fight, right,
we need to get pop. So that's bubb rubb bro.
People realize that whistle go whoa. That's the from the
Oakland area.

Speaker 2 (37:51):
One of my favorite clips of the two thousands, whistles
go whoo. So Chris hu Banks is fighting Connor Ben
middle wait boxing match onto his own but pretty decent
UFC card. If you're like UFC, you got Gary Ian Machatto,
Gary versus Carlos Prates, Smith versus Ming Yang, some good

(38:14):
UFC if you want to see some fight, it's got
a little UFC and a little boxing going on this weekend.
We're all waiting for May second. That's real boxing, right.
I was just gonna say Time Square Outdoors, that's Tiafimo,
Ryan Garcia, Devin Haney, Garcia headlining that fight that's May second.
So yeah, that's all building up for that. I started
it last night after the Draft. I'm gonna continue tonight.

(38:38):
Joe Goldberg is back you on Netflix. And I always
look at it like dexter Light, dexter Light, And what
I've noticed, Rich is Joe Goldberg went from like a
guy being obsessed with, you know, women, like sort of
a stalker kind of guy. Like it's just a straight
up murderer. Now he's just murdering people like a weirdo.

(38:58):
And for whatever reason, we kind of like Joe Goldberg.

Speaker 1 (39:01):
You.

Speaker 2 (39:02):
I think it's the final season if I'm not mistaken.
So I always liked that show. So far is pretty
dece and I'll give ourselves some prompts. If you missed
it yesterday, I don't blame you. Everybody's tuned into the draft.
It was an exciting night. We talked about it all day.
Continues today. You gotta watch over promised our bonus pod
that's on Fox Sports Radio's YouTube page. You could listen,

(39:25):
but we prefer you watch it because we welcome KFC
from Barstool Kevin Clancy.

Speaker 1 (39:31):
We had thirty minutes with the one Minute Man and.

Speaker 2 (39:34):
We got his backstory, his relationship with Portnoy, how he
ended up in this spot and he just chopped it
up and just hung out.

Speaker 1 (39:40):
Anyway. It's a really good dude.

Speaker 2 (39:41):
So got to know Kevin a little bit better on
over promised. Check it out and let us know what
you think.

Speaker 1 (39:47):
I have you also on my list.

Speaker 2 (39:49):
Might as well finish the show I started back in
the day, right as you said, Dexter Light, you was
back on Netflix. If you have Apple TV, which is
cheap skate Cavino's like, good, go, don't have it. Let
spend the five bucks, six bucks or whatever. Good the
show because there's always something else to watch. The show
that I'm so pulled into right now, and there's a
new episode today, Danny g Episode four. Yeah, Your Friends
and Neighbors with John hamm many people are saying, and

(40:13):
I agree, his best stuff since Mad Men. He's so cool.
There's something so cool about John Ham. The stories like
so upsetting yet awesome. So John Ham Your Friends and Neighbors.
Olivia Munn is also in that looking beautiful and remember
from Amanda Pete from a Bunch of stuff In the
two thousand, she got John Ham's Ham does it on credits?
Ham does get credit. So your friends and neighbors fantastic.

(40:37):
There's a show on Netflix. I feel like this is
something you'd passed podcast. It was a cowboy hat and
Cavino was very judgmental.

Speaker 1 (40:44):
Ransom Canyon. Oh, it's so cheesy. It looks so cheesy,
but it's bad.

Speaker 2 (40:50):
My observation with my wife Danny g is that it
stars Josh Dumel and Minka Kelly, who, in my mind
are both like young hotties and they're both like older.

Speaker 5 (40:58):
Now it's like a Hallmark movie trying to have Yellowstone
level dramas.

Speaker 1 (41:02):
Yellowstone meets Hallmark. It's torture.

Speaker 2 (41:04):
But in my mind, I'm like, oh, Josh Neumel, he's
like a young studdy Minka Kelly and I'm like, wait no,
they're all like they're both like middle aged. That is it,
Timothy Oliphant or Josh Tumel. That's that's available and Camino
per your recommendation because I give you props unlike you
never give me props. I watched some of these History
Channel food specials. There's one about the history of salsa.

Speaker 1 (41:25):
I'm not even drunking. This is the most Bobby Salsa.
There's the most. It's the most interesting crap I've ever
seen in my life.

Speaker 2 (41:30):
The invention of the gas is the guy from Pace,
the guy that invented Pace, Hostitos and Dorito's salsa.

Speaker 1 (41:35):
It is fascinating.

Speaker 2 (41:36):
So if you if you want to know the history
of food, there's a bunch of new episodes of The
Food That Made America and the who that built in
America Built America on the History Channel.

Speaker 1 (41:44):
It's a great series. All right, anything else fot.

Speaker 9 (41:47):
I mean, if you're heading to the theater. I got
to mention the accountant to yep, loved the first one,
Ben Affleck Josh or John Bernthall.

Speaker 1 (41:54):
Ye, great action movie. Really check it out.

Speaker 2 (41:56):
And if you're it's funny you said the first one
was great and one's crazy.

Speaker 1 (41:59):
Wish watched the first one. I never watched it. Danny
any any throwing.

Speaker 5 (42:02):
Really quick until Dawn Horror movie drops video game to
the theater, So check that out if you love that.

Speaker 2 (42:08):
Genre, I know you canna be watching the Lakers tonight.
Of course, until then, A Riba.

Speaker 1 (42:11):
There to your baby. See you in the Promised leg
