Speaker 1 (00:01):
This is Fox Sports Countdown. We're setting you up for
the sports weekend and covering all the action from the
stadiums to the arenas. This is Fox Sports Countdown, brought
to you bet MG the sports book born in Vegas too.

(00:22):
The Countdown starts nine live from the Fox Sports Radio studios.
Here's Brian no, Rich Hornberger and Jared smith Man.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
It is the biggest shock of the weekend that come
in your way just a few seconds. For for forty years,
tire Rack has been helping customers find the tires for how,
what and where you drive, hip bast and free back
by free road hazard installation and the convenient installation options
like mobile tire installation, tire rack dot com the way

(00:56):
tire buying should be a good morning, fellas. Yes, the
biggest shock of the weekend easily the Celtics only scoring
eleven points in the third quarter yesterday. That was unritten nods.
Shadure Sanders is still on the board. The guy hasn't
been drafted in the first three rounds. I'll tell you

(01:17):
this because I could talk for literally three hours straight
and you guys would be raising your arms like so
so no picks for me today? So no opinions. It's
just me for three hours. Uh No, But I'll just
make one point. One of the most shocking things about
this are all the people saying, it's really not that
shocking if you stop and think about it. What ye,

(01:40):
this is the biggest shock in NFL draft history. There
has never been a player rated as high as Shaduere
Sanders who has dropped as far as Shduere Sanders.

Speaker 3 (01:53):
So spare me on this.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
Well, if you stop and think about, no biggest shock
for in the NFL draft and so that that's one
of my biggest shocks is the people saying not that
shocking if you think about it, kind of a shoulder shrug.
Really what what is? Some of these opinions are brutal.
What's going on? I'll shut up right now. Rich your

(02:17):
thoughts initially on this whole shador thing still not being drafted?

Speaker 4 (02:21):
Yeah, I first and foremost, the the shots of him
with you know, these large tents in his backyard and
the I don't know, fifty or eighty people in the
near background are kind of heartbreaking because it sort of
feels like that feeling you have when you show up

(02:44):
to a kid's birthday party. And realize like, oh, my
kid's only one here, like you know what I mean,
Like you're you're like, oh man, like that secondary feeling
of like, hey, hang in there, buddy, it's all all right,
Like you know, because just because his dad's Dion Sanders,
just because Shador grew up maybe more privileged than many

(03:06):
football players, you know, and and had life a little
bit easier from the standpoint of being an athlete, having
a former professional football player in your household. Your dad's
a Hall of famer, he knows exactly what you need
to do to get you there. So if it's important
enough to you, you have the best asset possible in

(03:28):
your house. And oh, by the way, he coached you
through your collegiate career, So the route was carved, the
groove was dug pretty deep for him to follow. All
he had to do is follow it. With all that
being said, it's still somewhat heartbreaking to watch this kid
who really cares about this game and he really fights
for his teammates and to get the job done out

(03:52):
there collegiately and did so at a high level. There
is a feeling of like, man, I just I just
feel terrible for him, right Now, at the same time,
I somewhat get it because if the evaluation for these
teams was all he's going to be for us as
a backup quarterback or the teams who were quarterback needy, Hey,

(04:14):
Shador's not our guy. So what happens is if he's
going to be drafted as a backup quarterback or a
project quarterback, you check that box. Here's the other box
you need to check. Are we willing to handle the
circus when it comes to town? Because if you have
a backup like Shador, and I forget who said it first,
but it's the right comparison. This is like Tim Tebow

(04:37):
backing up Mark Sanchez with the New York Jets. You
are onboarding a tremendous amount of pressure for your starting
quarterback for your program, and you're also onboarding his father,
who's not quiet with the media. And do you really
want that? So there's a lot to think about. And
that's the reason why I think he's slid as far

(04:58):
as he has. Oh yeah, where do.

Speaker 3 (05:01):
I even start here?

Speaker 4 (05:03):
Yeah? Goodness gracious.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
So the first thing that I think is worth mentioning.
I think it's funny that it was Dylan Gabriel That
was the one that kind of set it off because
right like you're going through the draft and you're like, okay,
he wasn't a first round pick. We get it. You
know Jackson dart they you know Dable really loved his
character and all this stuf blah blah blah blah. Okay, Fine,
you're out of the first round. You get into the

(05:27):
second round, and Tyler Shuck's the first one to go,
and you're like, Okay, I've heard a lot about Shuck,
like he's coming off with two major classical injuries and
all this other negative stuff, but I've heard a lot
of positives. And he's got the big arm, and he's
got all the NFL intangibles. Blah blah blah blah. Okay. Fine.
Then we get to Jalen Milroe and we're like like, okay,
he's got the athleticism in the upside, and he's got

(05:49):
all this explosiveness.

Speaker 2 (05:51):
And then we get to Dylan Gabriel and there's nothing.

Speaker 3 (05:54):
And then and then it's like whoa hold on, hold
on Dylan freaking Gabriel.

Speaker 4 (06:01):
Yep, that's real.

Speaker 3 (06:03):
Like that was the moment when I said something is
going on here that is not just Chador is not
a good football player, because I'm sorry. I love Dylan Gabriel.
You're a fantastic story played at a bunch of different schools,
took Oregon to an undefeated season and you know, the

(06:24):
College World playoff. But no, like like that's where I like,
me is an I know I'm not in some this
big evaluator, but that's where me is like an at
college football fans, like, all right, something's going on here
because Shador has got all the I think physical tools.
I know he's not very athletic, but I think he's
got the arm strength, I think he's got the size.

(06:45):
I think he's got at least enough mobility to compete.
And then you look at a Dylan Gabriel who's like,
you know, five', ten you, know noodle, Arm you're, like, okay,
wait something's going on. Here that was the moment THAT
i think stopped this from being like a like a
story that's just like a. Slide and NOW i think
it's a. STATEMENT i think THE nfl made a statement

(07:07):
at least the first one hundred and two picks, here
we aren't gonna stand for Whatever shador did in the,
Meet like how bad was the? Meeting how bad was
this pre draft? PROCESS i Know i've heard some negative,
things But rich you've been in these, meets, like how
bad must have the meeting's been for, Now Dylan gabriel
to be getting taken in front like this is obviously

(07:28):
a major major statement being made by THE nfl.

Speaker 2 (07:32):
Here it's, crazy, Man it's.

Speaker 4 (07:34):
YEAH i, mean just to give you a tiny bit
of insight of what like pre draft interviews, go like,
basically it's a conversation just to get a feel for your,
personality and then it's a conversation with some of the
coaches a position coach usually in my, case but like you,
know could even be a head, coach and they'll they'll

(07:54):
test your wits in terms of your FOOTBALL iq and
then you're out of. THERE i, mean they don't typically
last their very. Long It's, BRIAN i, mean like you,
said this is the most shocking draft of our.

Speaker 2 (08:09):
Time it's it's, ridiculous it's. Crazy it's the biggest shock.
EVER i can't imagine people just being like not really that,
shocking not really like this is. Okay this was an anonymous.
Quote of course they're all. ANONYMOUS i don't know, Why,
no one put anonymous. Quotes but here's an anonymous quote
from AN nfl assistant coach before the. Draft, okay and

(08:33):
this assistant coach said Of Shaduur, sanders the worst formal
Interview i've ever been in in my. Life he's so,
entitled he takes unnecessary, sacks he never plays on, time
he has horrible body. Language he blames. Teammates but the
biggest thing is he's not that. Good, now that's one
assistant coaches anonymous assessment Of Shaduur, Sanders and, LISTEN i

(08:57):
just don't understand so many people have a problem with
SHADOR i really don't like. That could be, scouts it
could be like this, guy an assistant, Coach it could
be fans in, GENERALLY i don't understand how the venom
has gotten to be where it. Is you, know, Like,
okay he interviewed, badly all, RIGHT i could see how

(09:18):
you would hate that where he wasn't drafted in the
first three. Rounds really is it really that? Bad and
the other part of this is this idea that no
chance know how in THE. Nfl really are you? Serious,
like the guy's, accurate the guy can throw, Precise he's

(09:41):
mister completion percentage in college? Football what if he's good
in THE Nfl for anyone to dismiss that, is if
there's no chance whatsoever he was a first round. Talent
so to act like this guy can't be the. Guy
that's what blows my mind is these these teams that
some of them are quarterback, needy and they're just, like, yeah,

(10:05):
no The, browns the Freaking. BROWNS i will roll With Dylan,
GABRIEL i, Mean Joe flago And Kendy. Pickett What dyl.

Speaker 4 (10:17):
He really? WAS i think that we need to take
every bit of context with this, though BECAUSE i do
agree with. YOU i respect his, talent AND i think
That Shoudor sanders could be a competent quarterback in THE.
Nfl could he be? Amazing maybe it's really hard to,

(10:38):
say you, know because so many times these draft evaluators,
MISS i mean, literally the greatest quarterback who's ever lived
got drafted in the sixth. Round so it's an imperfect.
Science SO i look At Shadoor sanders AND i, say
DO i think he could play in THE? Nfl? Absolutely
DO i think he could be good in THE? Nfl?
Absolutely DO i think he could be? Great? Rate in THE.

(11:00):
Nfl that's where the conversation gets. Trickier but we know
that there are first round draft picks taken all the
time at that position where the answer to the QUESTION
i just posed is the. Same so then you start
to get into the minutia of. It you start to
get into who he is from a personality. Standpoint and
by the, way that assistant coach whoever it was who

(11:22):
gave an anonymous quote and said it was the worst
pre draft interview we've ever. DONE i don't like him
as a. Player that's one man's, opinion and that's, okay
because it's okay to have the opinion that you don't
Like shador's game and you don't think it'll translate to
THE nfl. Level that's. Fine there's a lot of other

(11:42):
opinions in the. Room that assistant coach may come from
a team, where if given the correct, opportunity they may
have Drafted Shador sanders because they had enough, personnel people
who liked them, enough but they were all set at.
Quarterback you never know where that quote comes. From it's
okay to have that, opinion though what's strange is the

(12:05):
context of his father or his personality or the potential
distraction that he brings with, him you, know and his
whole camp and you, know the whole gravitas and. Persona
if that's what got in the way of him being
drafted in the first three rounds of the twenty twenty
FIVE Nfl, draft that is amazing to. Me it feels

(12:29):
like there may be more to the, story but it's
impossible to know for.

Speaker 3 (12:33):
SURE i think he had a bad, interview AND i
think words spread around about that, interview and he probably
had multiple bad, interviews and he came off as. Entitled
LIKE i think at this, point it's obvious that it's not.
Physical it stopped being a physical thing when they Took
Dylan gabriel over. Him Jalen milroe was the last. Straw

(12:57):
Jalen milroe was the last quarterback that you could make
a strong case that he has more upside Than Shador
sanders physically. Speaking, GRANTED i can't really speak to how
they handle themselves in these meetings Because i've never been in.
Them but when we got To Dylan gabriel, Again Dylan
gabriel is like the fire starter. Here when you get

(13:19):
To Dylan gabriel and The Cleveland browns say we would
rather have him Than. Shador that's when you go off
the field and into the meeting. Room AND i don't
want to make it about you, Know daddy, this daddy.
That but how is this different than What archie did
With eli and The? Chargers and that was really. Overt

(13:43):
that was go, back AND i know it was twenty years,
ago go back and watch how the media handled. That
they were not very kind To. Archie that was a.
Thing we don't want to play for The San Diego
chargers at that. Time obviously they were In San, diego
and no one Really, okay San diego's trade the. Pick
he's In New york, now like and AND i know

(14:04):
it's a different. Situation eli was obviously supposed to be
the starter number one. Pick shador was never going to
really at least well to be. Fair at one point
he was favored to be the number one pick in Like,
september but was never really gonna be the number one
pick in this. Draft come the, process we don't talk
about The eli thing, Really, Like, like is that AM i?
Crazy AM i grasping at straws with that? Comparison?

Speaker 4 (14:24):
GUYS i think it so? CRAZY i MEAN i, MEAN.

Speaker 3 (14:30):
I.

Speaker 2 (14:31):
Listen it's just for anyone who, says oh the circus
and all his dad.

Speaker 3 (14:37):
And, LIKE i, mean what what are you really?

Speaker 2 (14:40):
Thinking how bad could it possibly? Be, seriously it's like
it's such backwards TYPICAL nfl. Thinking NORMAL nfl thinking is
look at The Sean watson To Sean watson got traded
knowing maybe not the full scope of the, baggage but
knowing there was defensive baggage and was going to be

(15:02):
a distraction and there was still an arms race to
get the. Guy NORMAL nfl thinking, is, hey but the,
upside you, know, hey the upside over? Here what if? Quarterbacks,
hello the supply and demand of quarterbacks where it's, like you,
know let's take a. Shot you know what if this
guy does have the goods and for this to be
the player WHERE nfl teams are, like, hey but what?

Speaker 4 (15:24):
If what?

Speaker 2 (15:25):
If Dean sanders is saying things in press conferences what we.

Speaker 4 (15:30):
Do but, crazy here's the. Difference you're the. Difference AND
i appreciate any comparison because it helps you sort through
what you're. Experiencing and that's what we. Do anytime we're
in an unfamiliar, situation we always look for. Comparisons we
do it WITH nfl. Prospects you Know Shador, sanders, well you,

(15:50):
know he reminds me of this quarterback and you know
he played eleven years and he was An All. Pro you,
Know so that that's the reason WHY i think he's
a first round draft. Pick, like we always make comparisons
and so SO i appreciate the comparison To Deshaun. Watson
But Deshaun watson was an example of, yeah if you
trade for him and you sign him to a big,
contract you're taking some major risk and a huge circus

(16:13):
is coming to. Town with all of the pending allegations
at the time that were Against Deshaun, watson we all
remember with the alleged abuses against many massage, therapists that
was what was going on when his trade and contract
were being. Discussed, however he was being humbled by, circumstance

(16:35):
And i'm sure when he spoke or his agent spoke
with other, teams he was coming off hat in. Hand
i'm just gonna show, Up i'm gonna work hard for your.
Team i'm just looking for an. Opportunity AND i mean
even some of What Deshaun watson by the. Way none
of this is in defense Of Deshaun. WATSON i think

(16:56):
that what he, did you, know or what he was accused,
of its. Disgusting but my point is through the lens
of a talent evaluator in THE, nfl that is the
type of personality you're looking, for the, humility the team first.
Mentality this this says to me That shoudoor must have

(17:19):
blown a couple of these interviews, up like maybe he
didn't give certain teams the time of. Day maybe he
was like you, said AND i think it's an apt
Comparison jared about you know How Archie manny injected himself
into the conversation and he was trying to steer the
boat for his son and get him to the right.

(17:39):
Spot it worked out for The, mannings it may not
have worked out With dion Because dion may have tried
to do the same thing and it may have rubbed
some personnel directors the wrong. Way we don't. Know what
we don't, know but what we do know is this
the information we have is he has not been drafted

(18:00):
and the fourth round's going to, start and it's not
because he's a bad football. Player so you fill in
the blanks it is. Contextual it's either personality driven or
it's a problem that these talent evaluators have with his
father or his interview style or his arrogance or, whatever

(18:21):
because it's certainly not because he's a crummy football, player
because he's.

Speaker 2 (18:26):

(19:40):
okay so your biggest likes and dislikes at this point
in the, draft and we're thinking team wise over. Here
Now i'll start And i'll go positive Because i'm a positive,
guy you. Know i'll start with my Biggest, Like i'll
go with The Atlanta. Falcons, huh what do you think
about the eight el over? Here they used all three
of their picks on defensive, players and it makes sense

(20:02):
because their pass rush is literally the worst over the
last five. Years they cannot sack the, quarterback they cannot
pressure the. Quarterback and so they're, like, oh we'll Take Jalen,
walker thank. You we'll Take James Pierce. Junior, yes he
can rush the passer and then we'll take a safety
And xavier watch shout Out irish. Huh SO i like
that The Atlanta falcons for how many years have they

(20:24):
gone with the high first round pick on an offensive.
Player we're talking top ten pick after top ten, pick
and this year they go three defensive. Players SO i
do like The Atlanta falcons draft thus far with their premium.

Speaker 3 (20:38):
PICKS i give it the the.

Speaker 2 (20:40):
No thumbs up right, there thumbs up atl And Raheem.
MORRIS i like what they've done so. Far, rich who
do you?

Speaker 4 (20:46):
Like how about The Las Vegas raiders for not overthinking?
IT i, mean it's just one of those things where
you know you're the type of organization THAT i think
is going to lean heavily on a run. Game we've
seen that throughout the course Of Pete carroll's time in THE. Nfl,

(21:07):
defense the ability to control the clock and take big
shots from the play action or extending plays like they
did With Russell wilson when he was at his best
in THE. Nfl Ashton genty to, me is among the
most shore fired draft picks in this year's. Draft they
had the worst rushing, attack averaging eighty yards per. Game

(21:30):
last season in THE, nfl and So Ashton genty is
going to fix that problem for. Them and it feels
like giving a draft grade early to any. Team it's
really hard to do that On day two of THE Nfl.
Draft but If i'm gonna give anybody like the big hey,
salute that guy seems ready to play and you spent

(21:52):
a lot of capital getting. Him BUT i think it's
going to pan, Out I'll i'll tip my cap to
The Vegas.

Speaker 3 (21:58):
Raiders, YEAH i think it's it's really tough with these draft. GRADES.
A we don't have the full, class be we don't
know how these what these players are gonna. Do that being,
SAID i like What chicago. Did AND i know the
first pick was controversial because everyone thought me Included Tyler
warren was the best tight end on the. Board BUT
i think this Is Ben johnson's team and we could

(22:19):
obviously see it based off of the first two. Picks,
Right like the tight end that's THIS i think the
most polished, receiver at least in the. CLASS i Think
Tyler warren offers other tight end, qualities blocking and. Intangibles
maybe THAT i would put him ahead Of, loveland but
obviously that's not what The bears were. Coveting they wanted
a tight end that could Be Travis kelce and you,

(22:39):
know be that kind of polish. Receiver and then they
double down in the second round With Luther. Burden WHO i.
Mean we talked About Luthor burden a lot during the
college football. Season obviously for those who are just joining,
us this is a college football. Show he's like my man,
Crush LIKE i think he is a absolute. Firecracker and
you don't have to Right like a lot of times

(23:01):
a rookie receiver comes, in he feels, like, yes set
the world on. Fire that's What kat McMillan's gonna be
going through In. Carolina you don't have to do that In.
Chicago you got a lot of pieces around. You Luther
burden can just be another, guy and he when he
is just another, guy, man he has explosive. ABILITY i
actually like what The jets did to and They i'm
shocked That i'm saying, this but you, know they they

(23:22):
didn't go for the flashy toy And Tyler. Warren they
continued to build the trenches in the offensive. Line they
got the tight end later With Mason, taylor son Of Jason,
taylor who is obviously a Former dolphins And jets. Great
SO i thought The jets maneuvered, well AND i thought
The bears really put their pieces in the right.

Speaker 2 (23:38):
Place and he Dislikes it's weird because when we start talking,
DRAFT i feel Like Shaduur sanders is just a magnet
that's gonna pull us back into The Shad sanders.

Speaker 3 (23:52):
This, block we're gonna block him.

Speaker 2 (23:53):
OUT i look at The browns AND i don't dislike their.
Draft they've gotten some tow you address THE d. Line
you Get Mason graham at. Fifth, overall you traded. Down
you didn't go With Travis, hunter but you acquired more.
Assets there's an argument to be made, where, hey you
get the jags second and fourth round picks this, year

(24:15):
and then you get The JAG's first round pick next.
Year that's that's a lot right. There you get some
scratch off. Tickets But man is about a surefire of
a pro as there is In Travis. Hunter SO i
raise an eyebrow with just the trade to begin, with
BECAUSE i know it sounds great to trade. Down sometimes
it makes way more sense to take a blue chipper

(24:36):
and just go with that instead of trading down and
getting more. Assets we'll see how that plays, out But
i'm not convinced that the trade is going to work
out In cleveland's. Favor and then, again like they go
With Quinn shott And, Judkins, fine you go With Harold.
FANNIN i know you love this, Guy. Jared we've talked about.
Him this, guy, yes. Extensively He's isaiah like he Is.

Speaker 3 (24:57):
ISAIAH i don't. KNOW i don't.

Speaker 2 (25:00):
Know he's not as quick and can't change direction as
much As isaiah, likely but, again a crazy productive college
football tight. End we'll see how it. Goes But Dylan, gabriel,
AGAIN i JUST i don't get this. Whatsoever, again if
there's a, franchise think about. This if they were to

(25:21):
Draft Shaduur sanders at ninety fourth overall in the third
round instead Of Dylan, gabriel there would Be browns fans that,
say oh my, gosh we're signing up for more quarterback.

Speaker 3 (25:32):
Chaos what are we?

Speaker 2 (25:33):
Doing there would be there would be a ton of
fans that, say any Butt Deshaun.

Speaker 3 (25:38):
Watts anybody Butt Deshaun.

Speaker 2 (25:39):
Watkins right with that, Fiasco there'd be a ton of
fans that would be all for, this and they Could Dylan.
Gabriel if there's ever a team that should take a,
shot just take a, shot it's The Cleveland browns with
all the failed quarterback experiments that they've, Had so to

(26:00):
Go Dylan gabriel in a spot like that is it's.
Inexplicable you can't begin to say something that makes sense
to justify that. Move there's. Nothing SO i would put
The browns at the top of my dislike list so.

Speaker 4 (26:14):
Far And i've seen draft grades go around on The,
Steelers i'm. OUT i, mean your quarterback room is still a.
MESS i feel like what they're signaling to the rest
of the league and what they're signaling to their fan
base is they're all in On Aaron. Rodgers otherwise it's
going to be another eight or nine win. SEASON i,

(26:38):
mean this is just The steelers have. Had, now you,
know multiple opportunities are at very least an opportunity to
get better at the greatest position of need on their,
roster like hands, down the biggest problem that The steelers
have had basically since the end Of Ben roethlisberger's career
is their quarterback, position and they haven't fixed it. Yet

(27:01):
SO i LOOK i saw grades as high AS a
for The Pittsburgh steelers because people are into the running.
Back BUT I i it is A d minus for
me that you have a glaring hole in your roster
and you don't have a. Fix.

Speaker 3 (27:20):
Yeah i'm trying not to be too negative BECAUSE i do.
THINK i do think it's really hard for me to
evaluate all and like how they fit all in and
like what like what a lot of the in because
a lot of times you see these pics and you're, Like,
eh that doesn't make. Sense but then like you read
something later that comes out about some kind of connection
or some kind of interview or something, Intangible they're, Like,

(27:42):
okay now that makes. Sense SO i don't want to
go too. NEGATIVE i agree one hundred percent With rich's
take On. Pittsburgh last, Night pittsburgh showed us their hand
That Aaron rodgers was coming to. TOWN i what is.
It It's april twenty, sixth AND i said. IT i
said it last. WEEK i said they're gonna take a
defensive player and they're gonna Sign rogers the next. DAY

(28:05):
i would not be surprised if today or next Week
Aaron rodgers is In. Pittsburgh i'll say it. AGAIN i
said last. Week i'll say it again this. Week what
The steelers did in the draft yesterday is them showing
you their cards that they are Bringing Aaron rodgers to.
Town take that for what it. IS i Thought jacksonville
was very, aggressive AND i guess that's the one question

(28:28):
THAT i. Have were you too? Aggressive and we won't
know that answer until we find out how Good Travis hunter.
Is If Travis hunter is the real deal and he
plays both sides of the, ball and he's a starter
on both sides of the, ball then The jaguars made
a smart. TRADE i, mean that's like an impossible that's
Like Mount. Everest so THE nfl like that is an
unbelievable hill to. Climb if, not then you gave up

(28:50):
a first round pick next, year and you moved up
in the, draft and you had so many needs defense
especially and you drafted a guy that maybe is a
starter on one side of the, ball and we don't
know how good he is on that. Side that's the
QUESTION i. Had The jags took a big, swing AND
i don't know if it's gonna pay.

Speaker 2 (29:07):
Off yeah it. Is Fox Sports Radio's, countdown presented BY.

software that delivers use Code sports for a free trial
at shipstation dot. Com that shipstation dot com Code. SPORTS i,
guess building off of, THAT i was just, Thinking, hey

(29:27):
what's the biggest storyline outside Of Shador sanders?

Speaker 3 (29:30):
Falling?

Speaker 2 (29:31):
Right, like it's gotta Be Travis, hunter, Right it's gotta
be The jags trading up to Get Travis hunter giving
up a boatload of.

Speaker 3 (29:39):
Picks and then the news came.

Speaker 2 (29:41):
Out, Immediately, Hey jacksonville will primarily Played Travis hunter on
offense with a quote unquote package of plays at. Cornerback
and you're, like, whoa, okay all, right this is remember
before the draft That Travis hunter was talking About i'd
rather retire than not play both sides of the. Ball

(30:01):
and it's, like, wow, okay So jacksonville gave up this
much compensation and now this is a development, too, Right
like most people thought That Travis hunter would flourish as
a corner and sort of Like moonlight as a wide,
receiver you, know kind of dabble every year and every
now and then he'll be on the field as a

(30:23):
receiver And jacksonville's, like, yeah we see the opposite. HAPPENING
i think the trade for A Travis hunter and how
they plan to Use Travis, hunter What jacksonville has in.
MIND i think that's the biggest storyline Beyond, Shador, right
is there something else rich in your?

Speaker 4 (30:38):
MIND i think the renewed interest in first round running.
Backs this is really more of a. Trend you, Know
we've seen this a couple of times over the past few,
seasons and the Way Derrick henry obviously rushed the football
And Saquon barkley rushed the football for teams that were

(30:58):
successful this season that had playoff birds this, SEASON i
think there are a lot of offenses coming around to
the fact that defenses are playing softer coverages and the
way to get them out of, that to break that,
shell so to, speak is to have a strong running.
Game SO i think we're going to see resurgence there
for years to. Come the biggest STORYLINE i would say

(31:19):
is how Much jacksonville paid in draft capital for a
non quarterback. POSITION i think that specifically hovering around how
indebted you are to the future to make sure that
this corner wide. Receiver however you use him works out
for you in the, present that's going to be that's

(31:42):
going to be an enormous amount of pressure On Travis.
Hunter now goes to maybe the perfect situation in terms
of having the least amount of pressure from a fan.
Base Jacksonville. Jaguars are you, know put them Put Jacksonville
jaguars fans on the side of a milk. CARTON i
don't know IF i know any, personally to be perfectly

(32:02):
honest with, you among the thirty TWO nfl, TEAMS i
would argue they have the least avid or fervent fan.
Base but If Travis hunter can Do Travis hunter things
in THE, nfl The jags will make us all look
foolish for even questioning. It but that's a haul for
a non.

Speaker 3 (32:21):
Quarterback, YEAH i, mean he's From, FLORIDA i get. It
LIKE i understand if there's one team that maybe can
get away with being riskier with how they Utilize Travis,
hunter the jack like, again because the richest, point like who,
Cares like it's not like they're in this big media
market and all this pressure and they have this owner
who like really you, know is kind of supporting the
team no matter. What like it does kind of feel

(32:42):
like a it almost you, know it almost felt Like
jacksonville's really the only team THAT i think was gonna
Let travis Be. Travis AND i think that's why they made.
This they made this. TRADE i wouldn't have made. It
BUT i, mean here we are talking about.

Speaker 4 (32:58):
It here's. Reality, yeah hard. Out all.

Speaker 4 (34:21):
This check this.

Speaker 2 (34:24):
Out par Lay, Ladder, okay the Parlay. Flatter we each
have one selection for, You. Jared we start with you theme,
man and to set us off on.

Speaker 3 (34:36):
The right foot, here what are we? Doing what's going on?
Here but like the Great gatsby Of Fox Sports, radio
it's always a party theme. Here, no we'll GO nba props.
AGAIN i THINK i think THE nba playoffs have kind
of captured my attention now that THE Nfl draft is
on the back, NINE i will be fully invested in
THE nba. Today let's go alprin Sen. June DID i say, that, Right?

(34:57):
Brian i'm not a VERY nba.

Speaker 2 (34:58):
Seva it's, weird, Right Shane Shane. Goon but even, that
even the mainstream way IS i guess technically, wrong but it's, like, eh,
whatever close it. Up but typically we Go Shane.

Speaker 3 (35:11):
Goon, okay where we go With Sheng? Goon he has
been a rebounding machine in THE nba playoffs so. Far
he's averaging eleven in five games against The warriors this.
Year he had sixteen In game two and The rockets
have been dominating the glass in this. Series plus thirty
in the first two games plus sixteen In game one
plus fourteen In game. Two that was a really big

(35:35):
bounce back win for The rockets to even that. Series
SO i Think game three obviously different, venue BUT i
would say the same Vibe Sheng gon over ten and
a half rebounds first leg of the parlay plus money.
Too if you want to bet that, Individual.

Speaker 4 (35:49):
I'm gonna go With Steph curry over the twenty six
and a half. Points he had thirty one In game
one against The. Rockets he had just twenty points In game.
Two here's the. Reason he's not getting to the free throw,
line and he's pissed off about. It, now nfl orever
should SAY nba refs swallow the whistle a little bit
in the. Postseason BUT i think they've been pretty laxed

(36:12):
with the way they've been. Officiating How Steph curry has been.
Guarded and, look The, rockets to their, credit have gotten
away with. It he's gonna get his he always. Will
he's a great. Shooter but they're getting aggressive With. Curry
and now that The warriors are putting THE nba on,
NOTICE i think they're going to probably whistle more of

(36:32):
those FOULS i expect To. CURRY i Expect curry to
have a. Flurry so give me the over twenty six
and a half.

Speaker 2 (36:38):
Points, okay all, Right i'll go with an under over.
Here i'll go With Andrew wiggins with The Miami. Heat,
NOW i love the zig zag concept in THE nba. Playoffs,
right whatever happens one, game you basically bet the opposite
to happen the next. Game it can work with, sides
they can work with. Totals Maybe Hey way had high

(36:59):
scho in game in game, three, well the bette low
scoring game in game, four, right like. It there's a
lot of value with. It same thing with player Props Andrew.
Wiggins i'm Gonna i'm gonna ride the trend. Here so
these are both road games for The. Heat game one fourteen,
points game two ten. Points like he missed his over
by nine points last, game he would have had to score.

(37:22):
Nine he almost had that double what he did last
game against The, caves so some of their length is bothering.
Him So i'll go With Andrew wiggins under sixteen and
a half points today against The. CAVES i guess the worry,
is you're back home in mindy In.

Speaker 4 (37:39):
Miami.

Speaker 2 (37:39):
There maybe he hits a couple of threes and all
of a sudden you're cooking with grease for an. Over
BUT i still won't go with the cold hand to remain.
Cold that would Be wiggins under sixteen and a half points.

Speaker 3 (37:51):
Is What i'm rolling with. HERE i don't hate. IT
i Think wiggins Is you, know The calves are a
good defensive. Team that's kind of their vibe. Right newly
actually Minted Defensive player of The Year Evan mobley plus
four forty nine on this it's AN sgp, plus right
because Being rich AND i are in the same game
with That Houston warriors, game And beino's taking The Miami cleveland.

(38:14):
Game so plus four forty nine on AN sgp. Plus
if you want to ride with us, today it's not
too shabby, here not.

Speaker 2 (38:20):
Bad i'm feel kind of bad THAT i could have
made this same game.

Speaker 3 (38:24):
Parlayeh, listen kind the platter is meant to be a
schmorgasborg of the three of, us AND i think we
represented ourselves pretty.

Speaker 2 (38:32):
Well by the, way technically it's it's correct either. Way
if you go with the h like you, There Jared
schmorgas Or, MORGAS i Go smorgas Myself. Rich how do
you get, again it's personal. Preference tomato? Tomato how do you, say.

Speaker 4 (38:46):
Yeah schmorgas Or. Smorgas as long as there's ketchup on
the table either, way that's all you care. About organic.

Speaker 3 (38:54):
KETCHUP i hope these days has to be organic out
there In california right right right?

Speaker 5 (38:58):
HERE i want?

Speaker 2 (38:59):
It, Yeah, okay anything, else any bonus? PROPS i, mean
we can still add less of this. Thing it's that
we could well Like this is scary now because now
that's usually when they, lose is when you start adding. Legs,
WELL i mean we could quickly go through like there's
a big pick slate today all four games Like Thunder

(39:19):
GRIZZLIES i think is the big you know number of the.

Speaker 3 (39:22):
Day BUT i mean The grizzlies right there in the last,
game maybe fifteen and a half point dog Today, MEMPHIS i,
MEAN i, know no, job but you, know do they
have any stones throw to keep this? Close?

Speaker 2 (39:33):
Yeah, yeah it's gonna be rough. There, Yeah scottie Pittpen.
Jr was going nuts from three last game still wasn't.
Enough you, Know i'll give you a good zig zag.
Spot Kawhi leonard over twenty five and a half, points
so this is zig and zagged every. Game he was
under game, one well over thirty nine points in game,
two last game under that was mostly because it was a.

(39:55):
Blowout but The clippers at, home he's been magnificent shot
in the.

Speaker 3 (40:00):
Series, right they're?

Speaker 2 (40:01):
Done you think.

Speaker 4 (40:02):
SO i.

Speaker 2 (40:03):
Wouldn't i'd say they got a shot at least have
a puncher's. Chance BUT i took The clippers before the.
SERIES i mean to, like, yeah what What kawhi added
on just out of, curious.

Speaker 3 (40:16):
Over twenty five and a, half you'll get out up
to plus nine seventy. Three now that we're, talking all,
right head up.

Speaker 2 (40:26):
Next this is not your typical winners and losers. Conversation
we'll have details for you. Next, oh what is going?
On Happy saturday to? You we get to winners and
losers with the twist with the twist that disabled poring
winners and losers. Talk we'll get to that in a. Second,

(40:47):
here be sure to check Out Fox Sports radio YouTube.
Channel just Search Fox Sports radio on YouTube and you'll
see a whole bunch of video highlights from our. Shows
and be sure to subscribe to you always have instant
access to Our Fox Sports radio videos on. YouTube, okay
so we're looking for winners and losers of this draft so.

(41:07):
Far now it's if that team's. Right LIKE i think
of this more so. Veterans for, example who are the
winners and? Losers as far as veteran players based on the,
draft you could think of a. Loser think last Year Kirk.
Cousins he lost big because The falcons they signed him

(41:28):
to this huge. Deal he's at he's. Waiting, okay who
are getting that eighth overall to help me. Out over,
here we're Getting Michael pennick's junior to basically replace You
Kirk Is so he was a loser last.

Speaker 4 (41:40):
Year or think.

Speaker 2 (41:41):
Rookies think of the guys that just got. Drafted who's
going to a good, situation who's going to a bad,
situation things like. That so the, PLAYERS i always find
that much more interesting than. Teams so we'll start out with, You,
Rich you've got a winner or a loser in terms
of a rookie that was just, drafted or a veteran
that's already in.

Speaker 4 (42:01):
Place, yeah in terms of a. Veteran this is gonna
sound really, odd BUT i thought THE nfl draft would
have spurned the renewed interest In Aaron. Rodgers BUT i
Think Aaron rodgers lost. Here and maybe maybe that's not

(42:21):
the end of the. Story maybe that there will be
a team that reevaluates their quarterback room after the draft is,
completed completed and, says, yeah there's still room on our
roster for a veteran, quarterback albeit, aging albeit not handing
in the best performances of his career down the stretch
of his. Career we could use In Aaron rodgers, type

(42:43):
BUT i think HE'S i think he's a loser in this.
STANDPOINT i think that this could have gone one of three.
Ways it could have decreased his stock in terms of
maybe if a lot of, teams you, know check all the,
boxes there's there's a less of a need for An Aaron.
Rodgers it could have maybe been, indifferent WHICH i think

(43:07):
we're hovering towards at this, point or could have increased his.
Stock AND i think this waiting game that he's played
in free agency being maybe overly selective as to which
team he signs with, next it may have been an overplayed.
Hand SO i Don't i'm Not i'm not even entirely
sure he signs this. Offseason we'll.

Speaker 3 (43:26):
SEE i think there's one obvious answer to. ME i
don't know if you'd consider him a Veteran, brian But
drake may, yeah, goodness great, goodness. Gracious. Absolutely The New
England patriots, said, Hey, drake here are the keys to the.
Castle don't screw it. UP i Mean Will. Campbell he

(43:47):
looks like a like A Civil war, Veteran like he
is like, nails like he's, Like i'm ready to go
to wabble kill everyone like he is. Crazy that guy's nuts.
RICH i feel like you guys would have gotten along
if you played the And Will. Campbell so there's your
left tackle of the, future boom stud left tackle sec
took twenty five hundred. Snaps then in the second round

(44:09):
you go Get Travon, henderson who from my, CIRCLES i
heard a lot of first round buzz on and you
Watch travon in. College we watched a lot of Them Ohio.
State that dude can get you. Up so now you
got your left, tackle you got your running. Back and then,
oh by the, way here is this slippery receiver From
Washington state nobody really knows. ABOUT i don't expect him
to be this Stud Kyle. Williams but then later on

(44:29):
in the third, round you go Get Jared. Wilson we
love a Fellow. JARED i think heat from WHAT i,
heard best center in the. Class so you've got, center left,
tackle running, back adding to a wide receiver like it
was all. Offense Drake may's got to be loving what
he saw in the draft the last two.

Speaker 6 (44:44):
NIGHTS i Think jared just took on a little bit
Of Will. Campbell right, there you got left. Tackle you
got your running back. Tackle, yeah you got a little
bit rubbing off on.

Speaker 3 (44:52):
You there a little moonshine there down there in baton.

Speaker 2 (44:54):
Rouge now that's a good. ONE i totally agree with,
that and it does it makes me think Of Will
campbell what he said about playing offensive line before The Texas.
Bowl this is one of my favorite quotes. Ever you'll love,
This rich check this.

Speaker 3 (45:07):
Out one thing in the.

Speaker 5 (45:09):
Room the diman get one sack a, game and that's
the only thing he can. Do twelve, games he'll be
a top five.

Speaker 3 (45:15):
Pick you give up one sack a game for twelve,
games you're gonna work At. AMAZON i Love.

Speaker 4 (45:25):
Cambler Bob.

Speaker 2 (45:26):
Ross it makes it even scarier the way he's, like he's.

Speaker 3 (45:30):
So like calm about.

Speaker 4 (45:32):
It Then i'm gonna rip your face. Off like, YEAH
i would go the margin is really really. Slim it's really.
Slim for an offensive lineman to be a good, one
you have to play near, perfect very clean football at
the collegiate.

Speaker 2 (45:45):
LEVEL i love what you said About Drake may and
The patriots because, man they've absolutely surrounded him with talent
and much needed to do. THAT i would go With
i'd look At Caleb williams with The bears as, well
where they keep like, here Here's Colston. Loveland you, know
here's a tight. End we might go twelve personnel and

(46:06):
Have Cole comet And Colston loveland out there well and
your Boy Luther. Burden you, know it's like their wide
receivers are are pretty, good and they keep on investing
in that position to build Around Caleb. Williams SO i
think he's a winner in This if you're looking at a,
veteran it's weird to call him. That he's not a rookie.

(46:27):
Anymore he's in place, right he was on the roster
before the. Draft if You're Caleb williams watching this draft
unfold from your, couch you got to be, like man
is working out well for. Me SO i think he's
a winner in this whole thing.

Speaker 4 (46:39):
Too, yeah, YEAH i would, say you, know amongst other,
winners you, know just just sort of, plainly he's not a,
veteran BUT i think he's he's not a player, rather
but he. Is he is a veteran in this. League
he's been around for a while and he needs an

(47:00):
injection of fresh. Talent Is Brian DABEL i think that The.
Giants they come away With, carter WHO i think is
a player who is one of those players who you
can depend on to do amazing things for your franchise
for many years to. Come AND i think no team

(47:20):
needed a bigger win than The, Giants AND i hope
the fan base is excited about. It i'm not. SURE
i haven't really checked in on that end Of twitter
or or you, know threads or, wherever but, YEAH i
think that The giants chose. Well and it's kind of,
like when you're that high in the, draft how can

(47:41):
you screw it? Up but if we're going to rate
a team by the first two days of the, draft
to get arguably the most talented player in the draft
at anything below the first overall draft, pick in my,
opinion is an enormous.

Speaker 3 (47:55):
Win i'll give you a guy THAT i don't think
is having a great couple, days or at least not.
Yet how about brock perty, right we're still waiting to
hear on the extension hasn't happened. Yet they get rid
of debo in the, offseason and now they go, defense, defense,
defense defense with their first four. Picks that's a good.
Bake and and again they needed to go. Defense LIKE

(48:18):
i in my final, MOCK i actually Had Mikel williams
being drafted By San Francisco John lynch went. Defense the
first four drafts hadn't taken a defensive player first Since
Javon kimlong twenty, twenty defense has, suffered so defense was a.
Need but then you come back with defense again in round, two,
again and round, three and then again later in round.
Three like AND i know The niners are pretty set.

(48:40):
OFFENSIVELY i know they've got an offensive gurus their head,
coach AND i Know Brock perty's gonna get an extension
eventually according to the. Reports but WASN'T i would say
IF i Was, Brock i'm, LIKE i couldn't given a
little something, there maybe a little little you, know receiver
of there later round and fill in For deebo. Something
and then we had to figure out what The Trent

(49:00):
williams injury situation. Is christian McCaffrey's coming off an. Injury
so there's questions about The niners. OFFENSE i would.

Speaker 2 (49:06):
Say that's a good. ONE i agree with that one.
Too it's funny, too how on the same team Think
robert sala is? Back and, yes the defensive, coordinator So.
Sala you, know remember when he was there as THE
dc and they would make a good play and he's
just like going. Crazy he's like in a mosh, pit
like slap the, helmet like good. Job he had to

(49:26):
be completely fired up with the. Draft BUT i hear
you offensively no help for The niners thus, far our
trusted Producer Bo benson has.

Speaker 7 (49:34):
Something, well you, guys you guys Mentioned caleb Andrake. Mason
might as well make it three for three BECAUSE i
Think washington has also had a good draft here to
Help Jaden, daniels Adding Connorley. Jr and Then Trey emos
in the first and second.

Speaker 3 (49:46):
ROUND i agree On Connolly. Jr from WHAT i, heard
he was the guy no matter. What like it was
like the draft day, Card like if he was there at,
thirty that was. It that was the pick. Period because
Of Jade.

Speaker 2 (49:57):
Daniels before we make this a complete roundtable and Get
Chris purfett in, HERE i have to throw Out Jordan.
Love Jordan, Love packers, quarterback got to be a winner.
Here The packers finally finally drafted a wide receiver in
the first. Round it so the first time since WHAT
o two and one, later what are the other receivers

(50:18):
in the room thinking, like, oh.

Speaker 3 (50:21):
Like it's.

Speaker 2 (50:22):
Official where a bunch of number twos is what they?
Think they had this revolving door of number two wide,
receivers and they finally, said you know, what we can't
Trust Christian watson and his bom ham strings over here
and his injury prone. Self let's try to. Upgrade so
they Get Matthew, golden who is a speed. Demon save
you On williams FROM tcu and, oh by the, way

(50:43):
you get an offensive tackle And Anthony belton FROM Nc
state who is scary on the offensive. Line that Helps
Jordan love. Too he's got to be a winner as
far as a veteran.

Speaker 3 (50:54):
Goes all, right Maybe watson a loser though, huh Maybe
watson's a loser in.

Speaker 2 (50:57):
That Christ, absolutely, yes that's a good one right.

Speaker 3 (51:01):
There for?

Speaker 2 (51:01):
Sure what do you?

Speaker 6 (51:02):
HAVE i just like what The jets did this, draft
AND i feel, like if you are it's a VERY
i don't want to call it Like Dan campbellian, draft
but it's definitely got shades Of Aaron glenn goes To
New york and decides to try to get His pine
sul and The membo pick is right. There you, know
they pick Up Mason, taylor which is a really good
tight end out OF, lsu and as to like it's

(51:26):
it's not gonna go down as a very sexy. One
and they still are going to have, to you, know
figure out a long term. QUARTERBACK i think they believe
In Justin fields for the short, term or at least
see what you're going to have with him for this.
Year BUT i consider that a pretty for all of
the heat he, took for how they handled The Aaron rodgers,
SITUATION i think this is a pretty good days if
you're A jets.

Speaker 3 (51:46):
Fan cambelly agreed like, that AND i do Like. Campbellian
but you said the magic word that's gonna Set beano.
Off you Said Justin.

Speaker 6 (51:53):
FIELDS i, KNOW i, know BUT i THINK i remember
seeing somewhere that if you turn defensive coordinator into a,
coach one thing they always love is a quarterback who
used to beat their, defense And Justin fields fits that
that role pretty. Well so they're going they're gonna roll
him out and try to make them comfortable for a.
YEAR i don't know if it will, work but, hey

(52:16):
we keep talking about. It next year's quarterback play classes
looking pretty.

Speaker 2 (52:19):
Good i'll give you a glimpse into the, Future. Chris
it will not.

Speaker 4 (52:27):
One last. Veteran WHO i think one big in this.
Draft Baker. Mayfield Baker, Mayfield, Yeah Mick Egg. BUKA i
think bolstering that defensive secondary big problem For Tampa bay last.
Year we'll Get mayfield the ball back. Sooner you would,
assume you, know you add to that, defense you strengthen the.
Defense you'll have more opportunities at, interceptions force, fumbles opportunities

(52:51):
for the offense to get back on the. FIELD i
really Like jason Light he's a. Buddy he came from
That New england front off before he made stops In
arizona and then landed In Tampa. Bay he might have
gone Through. Tennessee really smart, guy really good. Guy AND
i think they're having a really good draft as. WELL

(53:13):
i agree About.

Speaker 3 (53:14):
TAMPA i was. SHOCKED i was surprisedly went Like, buka
but from WHAT i read that he might be like
the perfect fit for what they're trying to. Do he's so,
smart he can play multiple. Positions you, Know godwin's been
banged up a, lot might have to move into the.
Slot very productive college player, too by.

Speaker 2 (53:30):
The, way to put a bow on, Uh, LIKE i
just think of the unbelievable talent At Ohio.

Speaker 3 (53:37):
State so think about.

Speaker 2 (53:38):
Ridiculos think about quarterback C. J. Stroud, Okay so with
A buca going in the first, round that means that
you had five first round wide receivers that were all
teammates of C. J stroud in. College so you've Got
Garrett wilson with The, Jets Chris olave with The, Saints

(53:59):
Jackson smith Than jigbo who's been really good with The,
Seahawks Marvin Harrison junior who's a top five pick with The,
cardinals and Now Mecca buca goes in the top. Twenty
those were all teammates of. C. J stroud At Ohio.
State five first round wide receivers and some of them
at the same, time like it's it's. Amazing then now

(54:19):
you had The texans they also drafted two wide. Receivers
how about the Teammates Jaden higgins And Jalen. Knowle, yeah
how about go to The houston Text.

Speaker 3 (54:27):
You'll see that too Often iowa states, like, Hey houston
have them.

Speaker 2 (54:35):
Exactly but you gotta get that wide receiver talent around C. J.
Stroud that's what he's used to in. College for. Sure

Speaker 3 (56:04):
This, oh we will do that.

Speaker 2 (56:09):
Momentarily by the, way we'll expand on this in a little.
Bit but, Uh Colston loveland going to The bears instead
of your Boy Tyler?

Speaker 3 (56:21):
Warren? Huh, yeah what do we think about?

Speaker 2 (56:23):
Grad what do You Penn state grads think about The
Penn state grad getting dissed by The.

Speaker 3 (56:28):
Bears.

Speaker 4 (56:28):
HUH i don't. Know if he got, THIS i would say.

Speaker 3 (56:33):
THIS i got This ryan trying to start a battle
here In.

Speaker 4 (56:39):
CHICAGO i love Where warren ended. UP i think that
going to an offensive minded head coach who's going to no,
question utilize him appropriately is the perfect landing. Spot And,
loveland to, me was the more complete tight End he's
not show stopping collegiate, talent but in just a terms

(57:00):
of having many of the tools that you need to
play at the next. Level he may have projected well
in some other, areas OR i should say better in
some other, areas but if used to his fullest, POTENTIAL
i think Ty warren is going to be an excellent. Pro.

Speaker 3 (57:16):
YEAH i mean he might be the best quarterback on
The colts roster.

Speaker 4 (57:19):
Too he would.

Speaker 3 (57:23):
Play he's a dual thread screw Screw Travis. Hunter we
got dual thread vibes in The obviously It's i'm, joking
but there will be some wildcat packages. PROBABLY i think
IT'S i think it's like a like a pick your.
POISONER i guess you, know like what flavor do you?
Like like some people like, VANILLA I skren for people like.
CHOCOLATE i think The bears What Tyler warren is good,

(57:44):
AT i don't necessarily think The bears valued as much
as What Colson loveland is good. At, Right Like Colston
loveland to me projects much more like A Kate otton
type who maybe can split out, wide can play multiple,
POSITIONS i think as a, receiver Where Tyler WARREN i
think is more of an in line tight, end better,
blocker better. Intangibles maybe maybe that's My Penn state, bias

(58:07):
but there is more of a need for, THAT i
think with The, Colts whereas, frankly what are The colts
gonna do with one of those straight receiving tight, Ends
like you have to think about who's throwing this person the.
Ball SO i do think upside like where The colts
can best Utilize Tyler warren makes more sense where The,

(58:27):
BEARS i think With Kleb williams needed a much more
POLISHED i don't want to Say Tyler WARN's not a polish.
RECEIVER i think he. IS i just Think Coltson lovelin
has a little bit more of the value that What
Ben johnson covets in a tight.

Speaker 2 (58:38):
End all, right we'll circle back to. This let's dive
into this right here.

Speaker 1 (58:42):
Though follow the, money real good, running all.

Speaker 2 (58:45):
Right our may, Man seamus McGhee is with us, now
team lead of Sports trading AT.

Speaker 3 (58:49):
Betmgm good morning to, You.

Speaker 2 (58:51):
Seamus, okay so, Draft i'm just thinking strictly from A bedmgm.
Perspective what was the best draft result for you? Guys
what was the worst draft result for you.

Speaker 3 (59:01):
GUYS i don't know if you can. Hear, oh there you,
Go hey.

Speaker 5 (59:09):
You got, ME i got, You there we. GO i
guess the best part of the. DRAFT i, Mean jenz
not going top five ended up being a big break for.
Us he got a ton of steam to go at
pick number. Five The jaguars not Drafting ash And gency was.
HUGE i, mean that was like the big domino that

(59:33):
was going to kind of let us know how the
night was going to go for. Us the top four
it was pretty. Chalky we went all right on those,
picks but what happened at five was going to, be you,
know make or break, night And geny didn't go at,
five and it ended up being a pretty okay night for.

Speaker 3 (59:50):
Us, yeah that felt like the tipping point in the
draft because The jags were making so much, noise AND
i guess they just wanted people to not think, about,
hey maybe we actually want to trade up instead of
just you, know sticking and picking and you, know moving.
BACK i KNOW i heard a lot of that. Too
people wanted to get into the five spot For. Gent
but from, again according to THE mgm trading, desk you

(01:00:11):
guys had the best draft ever AND i think that's
a surprise because we've been talking about how the books
keep getting killed in the. Draft do you think this
is a turning of the tide with maybe the way
that you guys book it and maybe starting to be
on the positive side of the ledger or just in
one of those outlier, Years, seamus we got.

Speaker 5 (01:00:27):
A shot at toward trading team here for this year's.
DRAFT i, mean it was excellent communication across the, board
everyone really up to date on you, know the breaking
news and, whatnot aware of the smoke screens and the
clear misinformation that was that The bears were moving. UP
i mean that was that was. Crazy The bears went

(01:00:47):
to minus two hundred at one point to draft gent
and then they just stayed pat at ten and to that. Point,
yeah it does kind of feel like it's this is
what the drafts are going to be. Now it's it's
looking more and more like a, crapshoot which is way
better for the books than what it has been in the.

Speaker 4 (01:01:05):
Past you, know we haven't delved into THE nba yet,
today but when we have TALKED, nba we focused on
the current playoffs. SERIES i have a question about. Futures
where are you guys most exposed in terms of, like
if they win the, title BET mgm stands to lose the.

Speaker 5 (01:01:27):
Most if The Los Angeles lakers win THE Nba finals this,
year As Tony soprano would, say would be a rainy
dight and let hurst.

Speaker 6 (01:01:39):
It.

Speaker 5 (01:01:39):
Is it is A it is a lot of liability.
There warriors just ticking behind The lakers. Too people really
really got interested, in excuse, me in The warriors after
The Jimmy butler trade and they start playing really. Well
So warriors are big. There distins goes every, Year, Detroit
michigan so. So and then The rockets also a decent liability.

(01:02:03):
Here we love The, cavs we love The. Celtics those
are two teams thunder would be. Great so any of
like those big favorites right, now we'd actually love to
see what's the trophy at the.

Speaker 2 (01:02:12):
End how much in series betting do you guys, take,
like for, instance any of these teams that are trailing
in their, series do you see a decent amount of
action for them to win the series at plus? Money
most of the time this.

Speaker 5 (01:02:28):
Year it hasn't been as you, know as prevalent AS i.
Think it's been a year's. Past i'd like we'll get
some big bets on series prices before the series starts
and then you, know maybe there's some people hedging out.
There BUT i haven't seen anything too big so far this.

Speaker 3 (01:02:46):
Year what about THE nhl have you NOTICED i know
we don't talk about THE nhl. Much we probably won't
really get into the picks until maybe later, on but
have you noticed any increase because we were hockey was
all the rage a couple months ago round when they
had That Nation's classic and everyone, thought, hey maybe this
is kind of going to carry over into the rest
of the regular, season into the. Playoffs have you seen

(01:03:07):
because people love THE nhl playoffs on its, own but
have you seen an increase in the amount of people
betting it because of maybe what we saw a couple months.
AGO i feel like.

Speaker 5 (01:03:16):
There's been more this, year a lot Of LIKE i,
mean The canadians went on this tear at the end
of the season to sneak into the playoffs and that
ended up costing us a pretty petting the things to
make the playoffs was a decent loser for, us and
they're one of the biggest live goals we have right.
Now saint it Was. Blues they had a big run

(01:03:37):
to win The Stanley cup on the back of like
a crazy regular season like in twenty, eighteen similar thing
happened this, year and they are our biggest liability for
The cup right. Now SO i think, there's if, anything
the interest is coming mostly on these teams that are longer.

Speaker 4 (01:03:53):
Shots, seamus you could answer this from your own opinion
or even from a book, standpoint but what's the biggest
surprise so far from a betting market or your own
opinion perspective THIS nba postseason so?

Speaker 5 (01:04:07):
FAR i guess nothing's really surprised me that. MUCH i,
mean some of the series prices at the START i
thought were a bit a bit. WEIRD i thought that
The rockets honestly should have been favored over The warriors
with home court, advantage and then they. Weren't and then,
FRANKLY i thought The lakers price got way out of.

(01:04:28):
CONTROL i think That lakers and a minus two hundred
at one, point and now timberlves are up to are
up to, one like there's no talent on this timberwol.
FEW i thought it just it became a Clear lakers
tax at the end of the day to.

Speaker 2 (01:04:42):
Me, Okay, seamus it's that, time, man The Shamus. SPECIAL
i have no idea what. SPORT i have no idea
what level of that sport we're going to be talking about.
Here but what do you have for, us?

Speaker 5 (01:04:54):
Buddy we're going pretty TO nila. Today we're going to
stick with THE. Nhl The Tampa Bay lightning has to
get back in this series against The. Panthers they look
terrible for two. GAMES i think they get back on
track In miami. TODAY i think they win.

Speaker 3 (01:05:09):
Today, wow, okay all, right going a little. PUCK i like.

Speaker 2 (01:05:12):
It good, Stuff, seamus as, Always, Bud thanks for your.
Time we'll catch you next.

Speaker 5 (01:05:16):
Week thanks you, guys having going good you.

Speaker 4 (01:05:19):
Too.

Speaker 2 (01:05:19):

(01:05:42):
it Is Fox Sports Radio's, countdown presented BY. Betmgm, okay,
guys if we circle back to The bears, pick they
Go Colston loveland out Of michigan instead Of Tyler warren
out Of Penn. State so they go with one tight
end more kind of like a slot receiver slash tight
end In Colston loveland instead Of Tyler. Warren one of

(01:06:04):
my friends back, home my Guy. Jay we've known each other.
Forever once went to high school. Together So i've known
him FOR i think sixty two years, now you know
WHAT i, Mean, like he didn't used to be like.
That it went to high school. Together, Yeah i've known
him For holy cow, This i'm old. Wow but he's
a Big bears. Fan AND i was, like do you
like The Colston loveland? Pick and he's like. Maybe but the,

(01:06:26):
rationale according to The bears is they think That Tyler
warren is a Better Cole. Kmet, Right Cole, comet the
tight end From Notre. Dame he's still. There The bears
still like, him and so they look At warren as
being a similar, version just. Better so their rationale was Taking,
loveland who's more of like a Brock bowers. Type he's

(01:06:47):
not the blocking tight, end but more of like a
bigger wide. Receiver and so if The bears want to
use twelve personnel like two tight ends on the field
at the same, time that makes some sense to have
different kind of versions at tight. End so that's the.
Rationale whether it turns out to be a good pick or,
not or a better pick Than Tyler, warren time will,

(01:07:09):
tell BUT i at least understand what they're thinking and
what went into going With loveland instead Of.

Speaker 4 (01:07:15):
Warren, YEAH i you, know LIKE i said, earlier AND
i may have, misspoke BUT i do think he's a
better fit for The. BEARS i think the WAY i
phrased it is he's the more complete player at the,
position AND i would say that's actually a much closer

(01:07:35):
conversation than a lot of people would would. THINK i
do think that they ARE i think that they're pretty,
talented but they have their. Differences, obviously the boom potential For,
warren in my, opinion is higher at the next, level
but it really is system, fit and, FRANKLY i feel
like he found the best system fit for him BECAUSE

(01:07:56):
i Think Shane steichen is going to come up with
some really create ways to get the football in his
hands when he was with The Philadelphia. EAGLES i think
he was a big brain that ended up being drained
away from that program and why they had a. Pivot
so hard to like A Saquon barkley free agency signing
because they really they lost a lot of creativity in

(01:08:20):
their offense When Shane stike and their former offensive coordinator
took the head coaching job In. Indianapolis, well now he's In,
indianapolis and outside of quarterback, Injuries i've been really impressed
with that offense at. Times he's gotten more out of
less at the quarterback position than MOST nfl, teams and
if he has some stability at that, POSITION i think

(01:08:42):
adding a tight end Like Ty warren is really going
to help. Them now going To loveland with The, BEARS
i just think With Cole komet being a complimentary, piece
and like you, said multiple tight end sets a great
opportunity for a young quarterback to get, comfortable especially early
in the, season and they're still In Caleb, WILLIAMS i
think it's just a better pick for The Chicago.

Speaker 3 (01:09:04):
Bears, YEAH i. Agree it's a styles make fights kind of.
Situation be you, know use that phrase all the time
when we're talking about these. GAMES i, MEAN i love
The stikeen To warren comparison BECAUSE i Think Tyler warren
needs that kind of creative mind where and don't get me,
wrong not The Ben johnson's not a creative. Mind but

(01:09:25):
if you go Watch Ben johnson's offenses with you Know Jared,
goff it is very heavy tight end set two tight,
end one tight, end play action off of it like
it's a VERY i would, say more traditional. Offense stiken's
gonna have to get creative because he's Got Anthony richardson
at quarterback who can barely hit the broadside of a barn,
Like he's gonna have to get really creative with how

(01:09:46):
he mixes up the. Looks AND i think that's Where Tyler,
warren who can literally line up anywhere on the field,
Quarterback he played center for one. Player you heard that,
Right he played. Center he snapped the ball and then
ran out and run around like that's what he did
once you know the game AGAINST usc caught a. Touchdown
it's one of the craziest Players i've ever. Seen. Now Andy,
koldnicki the Pen state offensive, COORDINATOR i would put him

(01:10:07):
in that mad hatter world right the state The Shane,
steiken we're gonna cook up something crazy and we're gonna
Get Tyler warren the. BALL i think that's where The
colts make sense as a fit and The bears On loveland,
SIDE i, THINK i, THINK i actually think both guys
ended up in the ideal spot for where they can
maybe maximize their.

Speaker 2 (01:10:25):
Talent, MAN i do think we were talking about winners
and losers if you look at winners and losers as
far as rookies, go the guys that just got. Drafted
if You're Colston loveland and you're, like, WOW i just
went to The bears With Ben, JOHNSON i still THINK
i Know Caleb williams has a ton of. TALENT i
think it will be realized in THE. Nfl time will

(01:10:45):
tell if that's true or. Not but, Man Tyler, warren
he's he's not gonna be, like oh my, gosh look
at these BUMS i have at. Quarterback he's gonna think positive,
later but he's got bums at. QUARTERBACK i, mean let's
be honest, here there's a better chance That Anthony richardson
isn't starting after this next season then there is that
he's gonna be starting for the next ten. Seasons has it.

Speaker 3 (01:11:04):
Ever been an upgrade at quarterback for a tight end
from Alex Orgy.

Speaker 2 (01:11:12):
There might be they might have just upgraded their quarterback
room as well drafting a tight. End And Tyler lawren, like,
yeah it's it's bare bones right now with The. Colts
and again we go right back to The Shador sanders giant. Magnet,
Right how in the world do The colts not draft?
Him they don't have a, quarterback they don't have, one

(01:11:36):
and you're gonna pass on them for three? Rounds what
are you?

Speaker 4 (01:11:39):
DOING i said this last week AND i want to
repeat it BECAUSE i think it's germane especially bringing Up
Shador sanders, again it really is a human thing THE nfl.
Draft like we we always try to remove the human
aspect from the front office and THE nfl, standpoint and

(01:11:59):
we're having very human reactions to the. Draft, meanwhile there's
a lot of guys who are making draft, picks who
are given ultimate control over the decision, making who are
just drafting the players they think best protect their, jobs
you know WHAT i. Mean and so a player like Sh,
anders you get it really, Right maybe that's a huge

(01:12:19):
feather in your. Cap you get that really wrong. Though
maybe it's the last time you get to draft in this.

Speaker 2 (01:12:24):
League, YEAH i, agree it's basically his last time. Anyway you,
know think about that with they this this is it.

Speaker 3 (01:12:33):
Anyway how about the long shot odds For shador? Today
what do you think, Guys titans fifty to, One, like.

Speaker 4 (01:12:43):
Yeah Kirk.

Speaker 3 (01:12:43):
Cousins they Drafted cousins IN rg through the same. Year
i'm trying to think like Where niners made sense to
me BECAUSE i think they run the same, offense you, know,
short quick passing game With. Shanahan The niners are sixteen
to one to Draft. Shador, like someone's got a draft this, guy, Right.

Speaker 2 (01:12:58):
Yeah, yeah someone's drafting. Him but WHO i have no freaking. Idea, Man,
yeah we got Rich, Oronberger Penn State All, American Jared SMITH,
fsr betting, analyst N Penn state. Grad you, Know i'm
surrounded By Nitny lyons over. Here, Ope, brian no fighting the.
Fight that's that's right coming up, next prop it. Up

(01:13:18):
we compare extensive prompt betting. Notes we'll share them with
you right around the. Corner It's Fox Sports Radios, countdown
presented BY. Betmgm it Is fox Sports Radios countdown presented
by BET. Mgm score bigger at BET mgm when you
win with boost, tokens, odds boost tokens and. More even
if your bet doesn't, hit we've got you covered with

(01:13:39):
no sweat. Tokens and that's not. All sign up with

and so much. More all, right let's do.

Speaker 1 (01:13:51):
This prop it up player plays.

Speaker 2 (01:13:56):
Al, right the prompt betting. Market we love this. Market
we live for this. Market we hugg this.

Speaker 4 (01:14:02):
Market that's what we.

Speaker 3 (01:14:03):
Do that's what we're doing right, now figuratively giving.

Speaker 2 (01:14:06):
It a big giganti. Cut all, Right, jared we'll start with.
You what's something you?

Speaker 3 (01:14:10):
Like, uddy we will go baseball. TODAY i Know i'm
mister baseball over. HERE i might as well just call
Me Tom. Selleck we'll Go Hunter. Green this guy's having
a cy young year right, now and he's been fantastic
through his first five, starts over seven and a half.
Strikeouts even on today over at BET, mgm he's at
eight in three of those. Five he faces The rockies,
Today and if you've been paying attention to. BASEBALL i

(01:14:32):
Know rich has in THE, NLST i Know bo has
with His dodgers in THE. Nls The, rockies goodness, gracious
they are the dregs of The Kegs TRIPLE a. Lineup at,
Best they've got the second lowest batting average In Major League.
Baseball the only worst is The White. Sox SO i would,
say maybe you have a DOUBLE a. Lineup highest strikeout
right in the league For colorado at twenty eight. Percent

(01:14:52):
So Hunter green over seven and a half, strikeouts we
need eight, today big fella over there At.

Speaker 4 (01:14:56):
Coursefield, yeah no, question give. Me i'm going. Hoops give
Me Donovan Mitchell. Calves he's gone unconscious back to back
thirty point games in this. Series he's been lights out
offensively obviously as a, result fifty three percent from the
field better than forty seven percent from three over twenty

(01:15:19):
six and a half is WHERE i saw. It but
if you could get a, discount take. It, Yeah i'll
take the over On Donovan. Mitchell he is The calves
offense which is pacing out a pretty flaming hot. CLIP
i think they're averaging one hundred and twenty one so
far through their first games of this. Series So Donovan.

Speaker 2 (01:15:37):
Mitchell nover it is pretty crazy That Darius, garland you,
know after what was a game, three After game, two
rather they're playing game three, Today but he was, like you,
know what's what's working for you, Guys and he's, like
we're Targeting Tyler. Hero, okay we're hunting that freaking guy
and we're chewing him. Up but you're rich sure That

(01:16:01):
keat's entire defense is just collapsing because of. That they're
Targeting Tyler hero and it's just opening everything. Up SO
i hear you On Donovan. Mitchell i'll go With Kawhi.
LEONARD i mentioned him a little bit earlier in the.
Show it's a good zig zag spot for him to
go over his point total over twenty five and a.
Half probably would have done it last, game but it

(01:16:23):
was such a blowout he only ended up with twenty one,
points SO i like him at home today, again had
a Huge game two with thirty nine. Points blew his
total out of the water. There but he's gone up and.
Down it's been a seesaw some Say Teeter. TITER i
say seesaw. Myself but under ports game one over game

(01:16:44):
to undergame. THREE i like the over here zig zog
zig zog zig zag. Approach, YOU i love the zig zag.
Approach i'll go kawhi over twenty five.

Speaker 4 (01:16:54):
And a half.

Speaker 3 (01:16:54):
Points what the heck is a teeter TON i have
never heard? That you've never heard? TEETERTOIME i, mean maybe
it's A west, thing Rich AM i off? Base here
a Teeter. Todner it's a it's a sea. Saw it's
a sea BAD i, know but Like i've never, Like
i've never heard that uses like a common, phrase like
that's a common. Thing, yeah well, yeah, wow, YEAH i don't.

Speaker 2 (01:17:14):
THINK i don't think adults say. IT i can't imagine adults, like.

Speaker 4 (01:17:18):
Hey oh you guys talking about an uppy downy heard
THAT i, Heard i've heard.

Speaker 3 (01:17:25):
About the OTHER i haven't heard. That i've never heard.
That it is heard, that but yet it's like A
Long island iced.

Speaker 4 (01:17:31):
TEA i like.

Speaker 2 (01:17:32):
That it's a regional. Thing it's like the pop soda.
THING i don't, Know, yeah it Is.

Speaker 3 (01:17:37):
Midwest WHEN i went to The midwest AND i lived In,
michigan AND i was, like what the heck is? Pop
people THOUGHT i was?

Speaker 2 (01:17:43):
Crazy oh, YEAH i convert it to. Soda because no
one knew WHAT i was talking about WHEN i was
not in The, midwest you, know, yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:17:52):
YEAH i went and spent time with some of my
wife's family out In. Minnesota so she's got this giant extended,
family AND i REALIZED i was telling a story at
one point THAT i call my Dad, pop and So
I'm i'm discussing like something THAT i did with, them
And i'm telling, Everybody and THERE i was with My

(01:18:13):
pop and people are, thinking, like, man this guy loves,
Soda like what, yeah it, uh, yeah it's a it's a.
Thing you. Know what's what's, uh what's fascinating about visiting
those areas of the country is you would, assume LIKE
i Guess michigan does have a, stronghold but you would
assume when you when you go through those towns the

(01:18:35):
way they love their. Football when these sport uh sports
betting apps went, live you'd assume The midwest it would
just be that would be where all of the action.
Occurred it would be where all of the action. Occurred
but it's. Not it's still very much so like a
coastal thing would shocks me.

Speaker 2 (01:18:53):
By the, way, uh because we have a minute, left
if we go back to the prop betting waters.

Speaker 3 (01:18:58):
Overga i'm SURE i still Back let's first.

Speaker 2 (01:19:00):
Swim, YEAH i want to see what you think about
this year BECAUSE i hear you On Shane, goon who
you gave out earlier his rebounding prop over what do
you think Of Steven? Adams, again it's a zig zag
spot he was under last game. Rebounds his minutes are
a little, weird but at five and a, half this

(01:19:20):
guy had twelve rebounds in game one alone and The
rockets are just punishing The warriors on the. Board so
even though you're On Shane, goon what do you think
about the idea of going With Steven?

Speaker 3 (01:19:30):
ADAMS i like that a. LOT i think the one
vibe that is different in this game is that it's
In Golden, state and you, know you would imagine that
The warriors are gonna make more, shots which means less.
Rebounds also a very low total. GAME i saw the.
BLOCKS i Thought Shane goon for over a half a
block at plus money was another intriguing, one like this
dude's on the floor all the. Time MAYBE i was

(01:19:52):
off on that, number BUT i thought that was an
interesting M a firebox berger right now Now shanegon's at
a half at plus. MONEY i mean, again he's on
the floor so. Much almost luck into a block at
some point during the, game especially if you're. Big so,
YEAH i would say the bigs for The rockets are
definitely a good.

Speaker 2 (01:20:08):
Buck cool way to win a bet, too.

Speaker 3 (01:20:10):
With a, block you, know that's?

Speaker 4 (01:20:12):
Awesome all?

Speaker 2 (01:20:13):
Right coming up, next which team has screwed up the? Most,
oh welcome in Happy saturday to. You which team is
screwed up the? Most that's a tall task to figure
that one. Out we will do our best here in
a couple of. Seconds, Hey draft coverage On Fox Sports
radio is brought to you by Ship Station calm The
chaos with the shipping software that delivers use Code sports

(01:20:36):
for a free trial at shipstation dot. Com that shipstation
dot Com Code. Sports, okay The chaduur tractor beam has
sucked us right back in. Here it's the biggest story
of the draft by. Far the guy who was pretty
much a consensus first round talent is available in the fourth.

(01:20:58):
Round he still has not been. Draft and here's the
quick Thing i'll say is for anyone who's like shoulder,
shrug not not the biggest surprise who had a fourth
round grade On Shadeur. Sanders that's WHAT i would like to, know, okay,
right you, know like for anyone who's, Like i'm not that,
shocked it's, like, well then where did you have him rated?

Speaker 3 (01:21:20):
Before you?

Speaker 4 (01:21:21):
Know?

Speaker 2 (01:21:22):
Who was? It was it Like todd, McShay was it
mel Kiper? Junior was it any draft analyst that was, like,
yeah everybody has a first round. GRADE i actually have
a fifth round grade on the. Guy like who said?
That and now we're not supposed to be. Surprised it's
insane to. Me but which team has screwed up the
most thus far not drafting? Him now they can obviously

(01:21:44):
draft him, today but which team should they not get
shadere and they've had multiple cracks at. It who would
you say is screwed up the?

Speaker 3 (01:21:53):
Most?

Speaker 4 (01:21:53):
Rich? Who you? KNOW i know this sounds like a
cop out. Promise it. Isn't BUT i don't think anybody's
screwed up by not drafting. Him and here's. WHY i
think That Shador sanders is a talented. QUARTERBACK i said it.
BEFORE i think he projects at very least as a

(01:22:15):
GOOD nfl. PROSPECT i think that he could walk into
THE nfl and he could. Compete jerry's out on whether
or not he could be, great whether or not he
can perform at a Pro bowl, level which essentially WHAT
i mean by that is be you, know top ten
essentially at his. Position all that remains to be, seen

(01:22:36):
all that remains to be seen if he even gets
a chance to compete for a starting job when this
is all said and. Done but having said, THAT i
feel like this this situation occurred because because it wasn't
a football decision being, made it was a public relations

(01:22:57):
decision being made by a lot of these front. OFFICES i,
think with no other prospect in this draft at that,
position was there worry that if things really don't develop
as quickly or as smoothly with the prospect at the quarterback,
position you're going to, BE i, guess mocked or criticized

(01:23:20):
with the normal level of criticism if you go for
A jackson dart or Cam ward or a Mill row
or any of these other, prospects, Right Dylan, Gabriel even
right if you Draft Shadoor sanders and the assent to
starter in THE, nfl or the progress as a starter

(01:23:41):
in THE nfl isn't seamless and perfect do you think
That Dion sanders is never gonna come after an offensive
coordinator who he doesn't think is maximizing his son's. Talent
do you think That Dion sanders is never going to
have a commentary on one of his teammates who's letting him.
DOWN i think this has more to do with dad

(01:24:03):
than it does with the. Player And i'll tell you who.
Cares owners, care fan basees, care a general manager's care
because you could be ran out of town with the
torches and the pitchforks for screwing things. Up and, again
it's human beings who make these, decisions NOT ai, models
and so people who are protective of the bread that

(01:24:24):
they're putting on the table for their. Family and at
the end of the, day they have to be talent
evaluators to build the best mousetrap for the fan, base
for their owner to believe in. Them Should Or sanders
not a part of, It you shouldn't draft Should Or,
Sanders and for at least all thirty two of THE
nfl teams through the first three rounds of the twenty
twenty five, draft they, said he's not a part of

(01:24:45):
that mouse, Trap so you don't draft, them and SO
i don't think anybody's really made a huge mistake.

Speaker 3 (01:24:50):
Here, YEAH i think like the outcry from our end
IS i think it's warranted to an. Extent but from
What i'm hearing now THAT i did at multiple messages
to people WHO i trust last, night like is this?
Crazy AM i ever? REACTING i think this is. Nuts
this is one And Sean, king you, know he's done
some work here at the, network former quarterback with The,

(01:25:11):
bucks has a great media. Background he's, Like i've never
seen anything like, those AND i think that kind of
speaks to the. Situation, right this is a very unique.
Situation this is not your average run of the mill
quarterback that maybe the scouts are disagreeing. On this IS
i think a web of media. Entanglement i'm going to

(01:25:34):
read you a quote From Peter schrager a month ago
About Shador, sanders AND i think this is, very very
predictive of what is. Happening dion has a lot of
people that he's done work, with works with the, Media
SO i think there's been a little bit of sensitivity
of being negative On shador in the process because we
all Love dion blah blah, blah blah. Blah it's safer

(01:25:56):
to just say we Like, Shador but when the rubber
hits the, road who's gonna answer the questions as to
why he's actually? Slipping AND i think this speaks to
Maybe shadoor got a little bit of a greasy process
with the. Ratings maybe teams just, said, yeah we Like.
Shador but, again now that the rubbers meeting the, road
who's actually going to pick up the phone and call.

(01:26:17):
HIM i thought The browns was the moment when we
kind of hit that hit that you, know point of
no return With Dylan gabriel, Again Dylan gabriel being the
fire starter. Here when The, browns who were who said
before the, draft we're going to take a. Quarterback we
don't know, when but we're going to add to the
quarterback room With flacco And picket because those two guys

(01:26:38):
are just not you, know we need a young quarterback
to you, know compliment. Them and when The browns decided
that guy was going to Be Dylan gabriel and Not Shador,
SANDERS i think that is the moment that people started
to realize something's going on here behind the. Scenes SO
i would, say to answer your original, Question Brian cleveland
is that team because they're the ones that really open

(01:26:58):
the eyes of where we are right now in the,
draft which is we're three rounds in and this dude
still doesn't have a.

Speaker 2 (01:27:04):
Home there's a tweet that really opened my eyes to
what you're talking about with The, Browns. Jared i'll share
it with you in a. Second use code countdown at
betmgm and receive up to fifteen hundred dollars back in
bonus bets if you don't win your first. Bet when
you register WITH, betmgm you'll get instant access to a
variety of parlay selection, features live betting, options signature, bets

(01:27:27):
and the best daily promotions in the. Business, again use
code countdown and you'll get up to fifteen hundred dollars
back in bonus bets if you don't win your first.
Bet so our, Guy jeff tweeted in this, MORNING i
love this. Tweet he, Wrote i'm not A browns, fan
BUT i think what they did with the trade was.
Smart talking about The Travis hunter. Trade, now now listen

(01:27:47):
here because he says next year's quarterback class will be
much better and that much more money will be off
the books From, Watson gabriel was drafted as a, backup
and that's. It so, basically What jeff is saying is
if The browns are sitting there and, saying, hey we
don't Think shoulduur is gonna be our franchise, quarterback and

(01:28:08):
we don't think That Dylan gabriel is probably gonna be
our franchise. Quarterback but we've got an extra. One we've
Got jacksonville's first round pick next, year so we might
be in a great spot to draft a quarterback, then
and that might be our time to.

Speaker 3 (01:28:22):
Strike so if you.

Speaker 2 (01:28:23):
Think about like the big, picture like the playing the long,
game at least that makes some. SENSE i just think
to answer the question which team is screwed up the
most by not drafting Should, DOUUR i think it's The,
colts because if you look at The, Browns, okay we just,
explained maybe they're playing the long. Game, okay The, steelers,

(01:28:46):
well it seems the point that they're probably gonna Get Aaron.
Rodgers we can circle back to that if they, don't
but it seems to indicate that they. Will The, colts
what's the. Plan you're just gonna have blind hope That
Anthony richson can be a franchise. Quarterback That Daniel jones
is your. Guy you don't have a quarterback for the

(01:29:06):
now or the. Future Anthony richardson's completion rate last season
was under forty eight percent in eleven. Starts he's put
Up Tim tebow. Numbers and you're not gonna take a
crack At Shadeur? Sanders Why Chris? BALLARD i, mean he's
been around for a while and this is his last
go around. Here why wouldn't you take a crack at

(01:29:28):
this and this idea that Oh Dion sanders has. Outspoken
so what you're AN NFL gm or AN nfl head.
Coach this comes with the. Territory, yeah that's why questioned
everything you. Do, yeah So dean goes in a press
conference and has a. Problem who? Cares let him have a.
Problem be stronger than that instead of will what If deon?

(01:29:51):
Criticized what if he?

Speaker 4 (01:29:52):
Does?

Speaker 2 (01:29:53):
So what have a backbone for? Once these teams are?
Empowering are?

Speaker 4 (01:29:57):
PATHETIC I i don't disagree with. You some of this is.
Cowardice some of this is in. PRACTICE i think a
good protection of your public. PROFILE i mean, again if
you're trying to draft a quarterback just to be a
band aid or a flyer while you're waiting for next year's,

(01:30:21):
draft or potentially a quarterback to come up as a
trade candidate or a free agent at some point this upcoming. Offseason,
well then, yeah don't don't bring the circus to town
because you're gonna be judged too. Harshly there's gonna be
so much external pressure on you to start shadoor or
while he's your, starter to make sure that he's progressing

(01:30:43):
effectively because of the like we all, know the insanely
high draft grade and the stunning fall From grace over
the past two. DAYS i just don't think you need
for certain franchises that level of external. Pressure now for,
OTHERS i do think there is a certain level of cowardice.
There you're in the big. Leagues you got to make

(01:31:04):
big league. Decisions are you making your team? Better are
you making your team? Worse and for certain, franchises when
they were on the clock and they were staring down
an opportunity to Take shador in the first or second,
round maybe in actuality they made the quote unquote safer
choice instead of the right choice in Taking shador because
they didn't want the public. Scrutiny they didn't want the

(01:31:27):
smoke that came with the. Player, look this conversation feels
like so nostalgic BECAUSE i feel it happened a lot
Around Colin kaepernick for very different. Reasons, obviously we were
talking about a political. Stance we were talking about a
very different set of. CIRCUMSTANCES i don't Think shad Or

(01:31:47):
sanders being. Blackballed there are many people who thought That
Colin kaepernick was being black, bald so that was the opinion.
There i'm very curious to see where he. Lands i'm
very curious to see what the outcry looks like when
he's not getting playing time from that fan. Base AND
i think we're gonna learn a lot THIS nfl season
depending on where he's playing and how that, goes whether

(01:32:10):
or not these general managers acted as cowards or, intelligently
Because i'm not one hundred percent certain that it is
the worst idea to keep to keep a immedia frenzy
out of your locker room at backup, quarterback because that's
never a recipe for success in my, OPINION.

Speaker 3 (01:32:32):
I understand like the media, circus but if he's not,
playing how much circus could there possibly be like he's
just sitting there holding a, clipboard, like like what other
Than dion speaking out and saying my son needs to.
Play BUT i don't see the upside in that. ANYMORE
i think we've reached the saturation point here where Now

(01:32:52):
shador is clearly. Value anyone who is watching college football
and Seeing Dylan gabriel play and Watch shador play and
seeing the measurables and you're, like all, Right Dylan gabriel
got taken Before. Shador shador is value, Now like we
are at the point where, right, like because you could
say this About James, pierce you could say this About Mike.
Green these are defensive ends that got knocked a little.

(01:33:14):
BIT i thought both of them were first round, picks
high first round. Picks pierce went into the first round
And green went into the second. Round these are guys
that had a little character, concerns but because of where
they were drafted their. Value they're both first, round top
twenty rush ends that were taken. Later shador is now,
Value like there is gonna be a team that is
going to take him and they're gonna get some. VALUE

(01:33:35):
i think.

Speaker 2 (01:33:36):
It's well, said and just boil it down to its simplest,
Form it could be one, sentence maybe. Two if you Draft,
shador you're getting a first round talent at quarterback in
the fourth, round and you're not gonna do it because
his dad might say something in the press like.

Speaker 3 (01:33:57):
What are you?

Speaker 2 (01:33:58):
Doing like what What jared? Said right? There it's value
at this. Point this is a value picks first round
talent at quarterback in the day? Three how can you?
Not all, right it's time now for the tire rack
play of the.

Speaker 1 (01:34:13):

we've gotten some uh some feedback over here on of
all things we've discussed this, morning you, know Schdor, sanders

(01:36:16):
the draft, winners, losers, rookies, veterans on and, On Teeter
totter is the the thing that's got. Obviously, yeah So
casey checks. In our guy says From kentucky here you
seesaw And Teeter. Totter oh, wow that's. Right Nice David.

Speaker 3 (01:36:36):
Jewel threat state there In.

Speaker 2 (01:36:37):
Kentucky that's, Right, Uh david, said we always called it
A Teeter, totter never once said.

Speaker 3 (01:36:45):
Seesaw david's got to be From.

Speaker 2 (01:36:46):
NEBRASKA i tweeted him and, said where are you, From,
Bud So i'm waiting for.

Speaker 3 (01:36:50):
Wordback he's, RIGHT i know he's he's he's a he's
a loyal. Follower i'mretty sure he's From. Nebraska.

Speaker 2 (01:36:55):
Nebraska, OKAY i checked in and just. Googled is teeter
totter a regional? Expression, okay this is WHAT ai spit
back at.

Speaker 4 (01:37:04):
Me this is.

Speaker 2 (01:37:05):
Dumb, yes teeter totter is a regional expression primarily used
in the northern and western regions of The United, states
as well as across the country in some instances to
refer to a. Seesaw so it's, regional but it's used

(01:37:28):
all across the country in some. INSTANCES i don't understand that.

Speaker 4 (01:37:32):
Well and ALSO i love how it says it's it's
used across the country to refer to a. Seesaw so
seesaw is the name of the, stepchild the stepchild of.

Speaker 2 (01:37:52):
It, yeah, yeah, Okay so here's the stinky LINE i
wanted to throw at you. Guys so we don't we
don't know what's gonna happen With Jimmy, butler, right he
fell down hard In game, two the tailbone issue going.
There we don't know how many minutes he's gonna, play

(01:38:12):
how effective he's gonna. Be their record took off when
they traded For Jimmy. Butler they were a middling five
hundred team Without Jimmy. Butler all of, this and The
warriors are favored by three and a. Half so much
uncertainty With. Jimmy but and yet they're favored by three
and a, half and it hasn't, budged hasn't. Moved that

(01:38:35):
tells me Take Golden state at. Home what it tells
me this IS i thine is out.

Speaker 4 (01:38:41):
LOUD i. AGREE i think That, steph because of the
complaining about the, officiating is gonna go. OFF i think
he's gonna return to game one. Form and also just
just from being an athlete and understanding. Injuries when you
have a deep, bruise but it's it's on a particularly large,

(01:39:01):
muscle like your, BUTT i, mean how much mobility are you?
Losing not a? Ton not a? Ton, now it can
be very, painful especially if you have a deep bone,
bruise like it sounds like he may have bruised his
pelvis a little, bit you, know kind of where the
spine meets your hip bone like that that that bone

(01:39:24):
like the bottom of your. Hip when that makes hard
contact with hard wood or like a frozen, field you
know when WHEN i was playing, Football like that can
really bother. You but it's not gonna shut you. Down
it's not like rolling an. Ankle it's not like twisting
up your. Knee it's not, like you, know even breaking a,
finger like if you break your pointer, finger that would

(01:39:45):
be a much bigger. Issue or you have a deep
bone bruise on your pointer finger that could throw off
your whole game on your shooting. Hand SO i think
That Jimmy butler probably gonna. PLAY i, think since this
game's being played In San, Francisco warriors probably gonna. Win
and if you like The, WARRIORS i WOULD i, WOULD
i would give up the. POINTS i think that's. Fair,

(01:40:08):
YEAH i.

Speaker 3 (01:40:08):
LAID i laid minus one fifty this morning on the money.
LINE i get tricky with THE nba with the you
know the. POINT i, mean for, me if it's within,
Three i'd rather just lay the money. Line, now, GRANTED
i have no data to say that that's the more
profitable way to do. It it's just comfort in MY
i don't bet THE nba ton in the. Playoffs i'll

(01:40:30):
bet it a little bit. More there's a couple of
ways to correlate what we're saying and get a little
bit more bang for your. Buck for, Example Steph curry
twenty Points warriors money line that's minus one. Eighteen Steph
curry twenty five, Points warriors money line that's plus one. Twenty,
again these are just, ways, like, like what are the
odds that The warriors win And steph doesn't score? Twenty,

(01:40:52):
like it's, just you, know you're just shaving thirty cents
off of that money line price on something that barring
some kind of ass droid striking the, Earth, like there's
just no way The warriors win the game And Steph
curry doesn't score. Twenty you, know the twenty. FIVE i
think it's a little bit. Riskier but these are just you,
know ways THAT i think THE sgp, market, RIGHT b,
know we talk about the parlay and the prop. Market

(01:41:14):
correlating those two things together could get you a little
bit of extra a little bit of extra bank for your.

Speaker 2 (01:41:20):
Buck, NO i like what you laid out right there
makes a lot of. Sense unless Quintin post just drops thirty,
six you know That warriors are probably Not, yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:41:28):
Blowout could be a, factor, Right steph doesn't play the fourth,
Quarter BUT i don't see that happening. EITHER i don't.

Speaker 2 (01:41:34):
Either, Yeah, NO i like that that makes a lot of.
SENSE i might.

Speaker 3 (01:41:37):
Actually get down on That warriors win the game out,
right And.

Speaker 2 (01:41:40):
Steph curry drops at least Twenty do you really see
them winning without him doing? That, no, way that makes
a lot of. Sense, No i'm Gonna i'm gonna take
that and run run of the bunk over? Here how
about you know, What, RICHLY i want to circle back
to one of your crazy opinions over, here you, know, like.

Speaker 4 (01:41:57):
Yeah which One i've? Got? Yeah which one is a great?
Question pull out the.

Speaker 2 (01:42:05):
Database, Okay So i'm thinking about This Nuggets clippers. Game all,
right we Got game four, here and for a, second
these teams that made coaching changes at the end of the,
season all, right you look at The. Nuggets they just
got waxed by thirty four. Points they're losing this series

(01:42:27):
two games to one against The, clippers, y'all cat you
had a triple. Double they lost by thirty. Four and
if you look at The, grizzlies we didn't expect them
to compete with the. Thunder they're trailing three in the.
Series they're about to get. Swept jah isn't playing. Today
it's been a. Disaster but can we go back To
game one When jae is healthy and they lost by fifty.

(01:42:48):
One i'm not saying. That you, know The grizzlies would
be threatening to win the series With Taylor jenkins or
The nuggets would be up to one or three to
zero With Michael. Malone but this idea, that, hey this
coaching change with three games left in the regular season

(01:43:09):
could really spark The. NUGGETS i, mean they're miserable With Michael.
Malone let them be. Miserable they're better off with them
than without. Him make a change in the off, season
and thus far in these, series we've seen that play.

Speaker 4 (01:43:23):
Out, yeah you know after that? Loss is It David,
adelman who's the interim head coach for The. NUGGETS i
got his quote in front of. Me he, goes we
got what we. Deserved will reassess, tonight we'll watch the.
Film that was his response to. IT i, mean, look
could this have happened If malone was still the? Coach

(01:43:45):
answer is? Yes and if it, did what is he
going to? Say that's much different than What adelman just.
SAID i know that there's more to it than just.
That And, brian you actually brought up a brilliant point
in our group text AFTER i said. THAT i think
it was two or three weeks ago now when whenever

(01:44:06):
it was That malone got got, fired Got Cannon. DENVER
i my my contention was in the hierarchy of, SPORTS
i would say that AN nba coach is pretty far
down the list in terms of. IMPORTANCE i would put
AN nfl, COACH i had college football, COACH i had
college basketball coach, ahead AND i, said it's probably, close

(01:44:29):
but maybe even a baseball manager is more important than
AN nba. Coach and THEN i seeded the win to
you because you're, like no way you Know i'm going.

Speaker 3 (01:44:38):
Through i'm reading it.

Speaker 4 (01:44:39):
NOW i strolled up.

Speaker 2 (01:44:42):
Right. Now how can you hear my tone in a, text, Though,
RICH i, mean because.

Speaker 3 (01:44:47):
We know you well enough by. NOW i know you
have known shows for three years, now you can. HEAR
i can hear your voice in my. HEAD i read
your text in your.

Speaker 4 (01:44:55):
VOICE i. DO i read about the. Days but but
you know. It but the point being THAT i do
think the biggest part of AN nba coach's job is
to handle the emotional thermostat of his. Roster AND i
really do feel like a lot of these teams who have,

(01:45:16):
superstars a lot of the hay is in the, barn you,
know You're you're there to be a, cheerleader a. Motivator
you're there to be the glue of the locker, room
to know when to step, in to know when to back,
off to allow the players have some freedom to really
sort of put the clamps down on certain, things you,
know to be an armchair counselor for some of these,

(01:45:37):
guys whatever your player needs emotionally or from a personality,
standpoint or the locker room. Overall you have to be
sort of the director of the. Film the actors got to, act,
Though they got to go out there and they got
to make the thing. Sing SO i do feel like
it's a less important job than a lot of the other. Sports,

(01:45:58):
however in the, postseason and some of the notes that
you pass pass, along especially the way you look at
the The lakers and some of the ideas THAT Jj
reddick has brought to the, forefront and some of the
different ways you can, handle you, know half court offense
or half court, defense or some of the inbound, plays
some of the ways you can. Attack, yeah there is

(01:46:20):
schematically differences between these, coaches AND i will see. That
but do we really think The Denver nuggets would have
been much? Better If malone was still the. Coach do
we really think The grizzlies would be much better if
they didn't fire their coach days before the. Postseason my
answer is, NO.

Speaker 3 (01:46:40):
I think that we.

Speaker 4 (01:46:40):
Would.

Speaker 3 (01:46:41):
Yeah, yeah, WELL i think it's just where we're at
with these, teams, right like we weren't expecting these teams
to win anyways this. Year here's WHAT i will say
to Defend brian's point about the. COACHES i think in the,
playoffs when you're facing the same team for potentially seven,
GAMES i think the adjustments matter from game to.

Speaker 4 (01:47:01):
GAME i do think.

Speaker 3 (01:47:03):
THAT i think that is an advantage for having a
coach like A, spolstra, right like someone who is a,
tactician who can take a game plan and say this
didn't work In game, One let's completely flip the, script
and then all of a sudden it. Works like we've
seen that The heat do that multiple. TIMES i come

(01:47:24):
from out of nowhere and just make these adjustments and
then and have these great postseason. Runs but in, GENERAL
i think where The nuggets, were where The grizzlies, WERE
i DON'T i think you could, have you, know Inserted
Phil jackson in his, prime AND i don't think it
would have saved these teams BECAUSE i just think they're
fundamentally flawed with their personnel and maybe the matchups going
up against The, thunder going up against The, clippers who

(01:47:44):
seemed to be kind of peaking, Right, LIKE i think
this is one of those situations where it didn't really
matter what the what The grizzlies or the or The nuggets.
Did they were probably. Screwed mm.

Speaker 2 (01:47:54):
Hmm It's Fox Sports Radio's, countdown presented BY. Betmgm draft
coverage On Fix Sports radio is brought to you by
Ship Station calm the chaos with the shipping software that
delivers use Code sports for a free trial at shipstation dot.
Com that shipstation dot Com Code. Sports like sometimes this
is a coward thing you have to. Say you have

(01:48:15):
to say it out loud and see if it makes,
sense you, know like again The shaduur, thing just for a,
sentence just to prove a. Point does it make sense
say this out? LOUD a first round talent is still
on the board at quarterback and we could draft him
in the fourth. Round does it make sense to do?
That hell yeah it. Does is a, quarterback it's the
first round.

Speaker 3 (01:48:35):
Talent do it all, Right.

Speaker 2 (01:48:37):
Like say it out? Loud are we better off Canning Michael?
Malone a guy who won a championship two years, ago
who's been the best coach In Denver nugget's history over
the last. Decade does it make sense to can them
with three games left in the regular season for a
dude who's never been AN nba head coach. Before does

(01:48:58):
that make?

Speaker 4 (01:48:58):
Sense?

Speaker 2 (01:48:59):
Ye know the hell well it. Doesn't it does not
Make sorry it. Does And i'm not telling you that
The nuggets would be dramatically, better that they'd have a series,
lead or they wouldn't have lost a game, yet BUT
i feel very confident they wouldn't have Lost game three
by thirty four thirty, Four, like come, on there's something
about your first. Rodeo if we're Comparing Michael malone and

(01:49:21):
all of his experience and winning a championship to a
guy that's never been AN nba head, coach what are we?
Doing like you think those guys are on equal, Footing
they're not not even closed.

Speaker 4 (01:49:33):
Some sometimes taking big swings pans out, Well so you're
you're pointing to two teams that may not have the
the most glowing prospects here in THE nba. Postseason but you, know,
Look i'll compare it to the SPORT i came From
Tom brady after two decades of success with The New

(01:49:54):
England patriots and a playoff berth although a loss TO
i think it was The. Titans when he decided to
enter free agency and move on To Tampa, bay a
lot of people would, say what are you? Doing what
are you? Doing just stick it out with The. Patriots
retire patriot that you've had so much. Success Bill belichick's
the best coach of. All he goes to The buccaneers

(01:50:14):
and in twenty twenty they win The Super. Bowl first
year with the, team you, know The, rams The rams
that they had a first round quarterback With Jared, goff
they had gone to the. Postseason they're Shipping Jared goff
plus a first round plus two first rounders To detroit
To Matt. STAFFORD i, mean there's a lot of people
who are, like what are you? Doing what do you?

(01:50:37):
Do why are you doing? That YOU'RE i mean they
win the Super bowl the next. Year i'm, saying sometimes
you got to tear the band aid. Off sometimes you
got to make big. Swings sometimes you gotta make a
change and sometimes it's not because the coach is bad
at his. Job it's because it's not a. Fit. Maybe

(01:50:57):
And Tom brady has been public about this Hate Bill,
belichick but he felt like the relationship ran its, course
and he, had you, know this criteria that he was
bubbling and checking boxes for and it came down to
a couple of. Teams he chose The buccaneers and he chose,
well you, know like there are times where people personalities
need to make decisions and they're not always what seem

(01:51:20):
like the best decisions in the, moment but then later
they bear fruit and everybody, go, oh, yeah it all makes. Sense.
Now maybe The nuggets have a bigger plan that we're
not seeing. Yet Maybe memphis. DOES i don't, know but right,
Now i'm not willing to judge them. Early i'll judge them.
Late we'll see what happens THIS nba. Postseason but LIKE i,

(01:51:43):
SAID i think IT'S i don't think The nuggets are
much worse off Without. MALONE i don't think The Memphis
grizzlies are much worse off with an interim head coach
for this playoff.

Speaker 3 (01:51:53):
Run i'm thrilled about it BECAUSE i got The clippers
at minus one fifteen to win the. SERIES i should
HAVE i should have waited till after they Won game.
One The nuggets Won game, one would have got a
much better. Price BUT i still feel, like, right you,
know we WERE i think we're on the right side
of that. Bet it feels, like regardless of who's coaching The,
NUGGETS i felt like we were on the right side
of that bet because it just seemed Like denver wasn't

(01:52:15):
very incentivized to play hard the last month of the.

Speaker 2 (01:52:18):
YEAR i, MEAN i just think, that you, know Firing
Michael malone For David adelman was less Like brady Leaving
england and Joining tampa and it was more like The
raiders Drafting JaMarcus, russell you know WHAT i. Mean it's a.

Speaker 3 (01:52:33):
Little bit more like what about The eagles Drafting Shador sanders.
Today that's that's.

Speaker 2 (01:52:43):
It does make me wonder is it gonna be a
team that's solidified with the starting? QUARTERBACK i think that
makes the most sense to me. Now that quiets the
noise a little. Bit. Yeah, hey how about, this by the,
way last little, Nugget The clippers are favored by six
and a half.

Speaker 3 (01:52:59):
Today, yeah you think they're?

Speaker 2 (01:53:01):
Favorite body six and a half With Mike.

Speaker 4 (01:53:02):
Malone, THERE i, DON'T.

Speaker 3 (01:53:06):
I don't really maybe maybe five and a. Half but,
again like that's a good.

Speaker 2 (01:53:12):
Point we're not talking about a world of, difference but
we're talking about a. Difference, yeah, right it doesn't have
to go to the extreme to be a.

Speaker 3 (01:53:18):
Difference.

Speaker 3 (01:55:12):
Go we're going to the mamas and the. Papas what
does that? Mean We're california. DREAMING i wasn't trying to do,
this but all three in my bets today originate in
the state Of. California let's start in soa Cal padres
or excuse, Me, Pirates dodgers your. Feet not too often
we're talking about A dodgers game coming off of a.
Shutout that's how Good Paul skeens was last, Night Mitch.
Keller Not Paul skeen's sixty percent career nerfey. Rate that's

(01:55:34):
not very. Good Roki sasaki on the other, side three
and two in his first five, Starts SO i like
that sixty percent nerfee. Vibe that's good your fee for?
Me early run In, Pirates dodgers will, Go, Rangers, Giants
let's go up To. NorCal, now let's go nerfy in this. Game, Tyler,
Melee Robbie. Ray they've been, fantastic not only in their
careers but also this, season Especially. MELEE i really like his.
Stuff giants eight and three to The nerfy at home this,

(01:55:55):
year tough weather day At Oracle, park win blowing. In
It's Chile seeker out For, texas And i'm gonna give
you THAT Sgp warriors money. Line Steph curry twenty or more.
Points that's minus one. Eighteen curry's averaging twenty seven in the.
Postseason he has reached twenty an eighteen straight playoff. Games
so if The warriors, WIN i feel good That curry's
gonna get to. Twenty there's YOUR svp on the, Day.

Speaker 4 (01:56:16):
Okay all M nba and ALL nba, TODAY i Got
grizzlies under their team total one oh three and a.
Half you can find it right now at BET mgm
for minus one.

Speaker 5 (01:56:29):
Ten.

Speaker 4 (01:56:29):
Grizzlies they absolutely collapsed In game, three squandering a twenty
nine point. Lead it marked one of the biggest collapses
in playoff. HISTORY i don't have a lot of trust
in this. TEAM i think they're going to struggle against
This oklahoma or continue to struggle against This Oklahoma city thunder.
Defense And i'll take the under one oh three and

(01:56:51):
a half team Total warriors minus three and a half
at home all signs are pointing to them covering this.
Spread this is A warriors team with The Steph curry
who has been good but not great because he's not
getting to the foul line. ENOUGH i think the refs
over correct. Tonight get him some of those. Calls, Also Jimmy,
Butler i'm not trusting that he's gonna be limited all that,

(01:57:14):
much especially they need a w In game. Three they
know how pivotal game threes. Are team with that much playoff.
Experience and Then calves minus three and or excuse me
five and a. HALF i mentioned it. Earlier big fan
Of donovan mc mitchell and the way he's been playing
this postseason so, far scoring thirty points in each of
the first two. Games he's on pace to scorch earth

(01:57:37):
again against The. Heat give Me calves covering up the
minus five and a half Against.

Speaker 2 (01:57:44):
Miami all, Right i'll go slow BECAUSE i have. Time let's, go,
well kick my feet up, Right, well look at, us.
Beautiful i'm gonna go a little Cub Calves. Dubs, Okay,
Lubs Calves dubs first, Leg, well first, BET i, guess

(01:58:07):
first Pick. Cubbies So i'm A cardinals. FAN i hate The.
Cubs all, right.

Speaker 3 (01:58:12):
So this is not me betting with my heart.

Speaker 2 (01:58:14):
Here The cubs in the first five innings after the
first two games didn't go their. Way the last twenty
five they've been eighteen four and three in the first five.
Innings eighteen four and. Three that is as solid as it.
Gets So i'll take them the first. Five they're hosting
The phillies. Today they're minus one o. Two they're actually

(01:58:36):
slight underdogs to be the team that emerges in the first.
Five but In Ben BROWN i, trust and that offense
is just stellar for The, cubbies So i'll ride. Them
i'll ride that. Trend give me The. Calves i'll take
the team total over one oh eight and a. HALF
i Know miami's back at. HOME i know they're, DESPERATE
i know they're down two in this. Series The calves

(01:58:59):
offense just too. Good calves offense number one in the
league this entire. Season they're breaking Down tyler hero hunting,
him and it just opens it up for everybody. Else
i'll take The caves to score one oh. NINE i
think they get there and The. Dubs give me The
warriors minus three and a. Half this line just thinks to,
me we don't know what's happening With Jimmy. Butler is

(01:59:21):
he gonna play all of the minutes he normally. Does
is it going to be as productive as he normally.
Is yet they're still favored by three and a.

Speaker 3 (01:59:27):
HALF i think that just.

Speaker 2 (01:59:28):
Stinks and, also you look at game one in this,
Series houston Crushed Golden. State i'm, Sorry Golden state Crushed.
Houston houston only scored eighty five. Points they wet, themselves
their prime candidates to wet themselves on the road when
the scene shifts To Golden. State So i'll take the
dubs here minus three and a. Half how about how

(01:59:49):
About rich AND i on the same side over we're
actually all the same side With Golden.

Speaker 3 (01:59:53):
State, Huh i'm.

Speaker 2 (01:59:55):
Bad let's get a Little Okay warriors to close it.
