and I really believe like this is the Rockets game

to San Francisco, going to San Francisco, it's a rap,

like like you got to win four out of five
and three of those games are in San Francisco.

And Stephans you already put one in the bag. He's
gonna do something crazy, some wild game. It's one of
those things. But but interesting enough, you know.

Uh, people looked at Steph and Jimmy Butler and what
they did together combining in game one, so people are like, hey, uh,
maybe they have the best duo or one of the best.
Will do they rank as far as duos left in
the postseason? And I know a lot of people Luca Lebron,
but Lebron hasn't actually played that.

Well so far.

I'm not saying that he won't play better, but he hasn't.
He hasn't had to turn it up but yet.

But I still think for me, it's only been one
game with Jimmy Butler, yeah, and Steph Curry, So to me,
they've just had a cup of coffee in a sweet role.
I can't look at them as the best deal a
duo because I got to look at Jason Tatum and
Jalen Brown.
Speaker 1 (08:17):
I mean they've they are currently the reigning champs. That's
a very fair point. There's a couple other people who
might want to hop in the mix. Who's that another
not raining, but they've won, Jamal Murray and then Jokic
will say, y'all must it wasn't five years ago, it
was two years. Yeah, they might say, y'all must have forgot.
We got some other ones too. They haven't done anything.

But as far as talent, you know, Yannis and Dame
could have said, don't forget about us.

And that leads to why I think for me, it's
not quite Jalen Brown and Tatum. I think what makes
them great, and they are great, They're a very good duo.
I think is the collective. You get what I'm saying,
it's the collective of the seasons. Those two.

I'm sorry, I'm not buying into that. Those two. I
get the rest of the team and they have, but
those two are the engine.

They're the ones that make it happen, and I think
they're the best dual. I think that's why they have
a legitimate chance of repeating, which we talk about all
the time how hard it is to repeat in most sports.

But then yeah, for some the last you know, balls
hard football, it really is the last, like seven eight
championships have been that back in. You know, different team,
different differ, different team. For the thing that for me,
the reason why it's not Jalen and Tatum is just
what I said. Right now, we're watching this game and
I'm looking at Drew Holliday, I'm looking at Porzingis, I'm

looking at Derek White, I'm looking at Al Horford. That's
just who's on the court. I got Pritching on the
bench as well. I mean, they got so many guys
on this team that to me, it makes it a
little bit of a cheat code when you're this loaded
that you have so many other talented guys that you
don't necessarily need Jalen Brown or Tatum to be that great.

I mean, that is ridiculous how loaded they are the
wealth and they got a couple other guys who come
off the bench and score a nice shooter. So I
for me, I'm absolutely not mad if you picked the
Rainy Champs and Jalen and Tatum, but it's not for me.
So if we're going at it like this, I have
to say it's still a combination for me of Luca
and Lebron because I just look at it, and I'm

if say it was Lakers Celtics in a game seven,
I just feel like Luca is so nuclear. And then
having still at this age of Lebron that that I
just it would be hard for me to bet against

Luca in a game seven as long as he's healthy,
because I just feel like he can literally go for
forty to fifty sixty, but he.

Also can give up forty on the other end. I

way with Travis Hunter. If you because you are a
wide receiver, what do you see that makes him unique

at the wide receiver position where a lot of teams
say that's where we would play him, either solely or primarily.
What makes him different? What have you seen on the
tape or what makes him where you go? Man, he
could definitely be that guy as a receiver.

I mean, he pretty much can do everything. He's a
really good runner. He's quick, he can run. But to me,
what is different about him? Because a lot of guys
are quick a lot of guys can run. A lot
of guys can run routes. What he does really well
that not is his body control, his ability to jump

in his body like he's so loose in his hips,
he's so loose in his upper by that he can
turn while he's in the air and make a hard catch.
Looks so easy. But the next guy does that, he
can't do it because he's so muscular and he tight
up top. He has no thorastic mobility. He's little things
like that. It gets overlooked because when that ball isn't caught,

it's like, oh, that was a tough catch. Well with
Travis Hunter, it's not a tough catch for him because
of the way his body is able to adjust while
the ball is in the air. It's just something you
don't see very often.

pro day not wearing gloves because it is routes on

without gloves drop a ball and routes on their If

is a lack of focus or you just not seeing

We're clearly far away from from any type of real
meaningful conversations, but did see this story. One of the
things that they were kind of dealing with last year
offensively was that their receiving corps was out and so Rashier, Rice,
Rashid Rice, Xavier.

Worthy, Hollywood Brown.

That was gonna be their core obviously in Travis Kelsey
being in the mix as well last year, but then
injuries kept Rice and then Brown out for most of
the last season, leaving basically Worthy, who was a rookie,
so he was trying to get his you know, sea
legs into the NFL. You're finally getting ready to see them,
and Patrick said, everything looks great right now. Getting the
guys back and healthy, I think the offense has a

chance to be really, really good.

The core group will be back in its entirety.

So the goal is to try to build on it
and even get better and try to go back to
some of the explosive plays that we've done in past years.

still Patrick Mahomes and still any read it's still the Chiefs.
We all agreed, and if anybody kept it real about that,
it was us the odd couple that something ain't right.

I don't know how you could watch that and think
that they were good, you know, like like and that
was the issue even then he's talking about they were
fifteen and two, like you know, we're talking about that,
and that was where a lot of lucky things went.

They struggled and offensively and the only problem I hear
Patrick Mahomes and what he's talking about, what is the
offensive line fixed?

Like like seriously, that's the one thing they've been great
doing over few, you know, handfull of years, is fitting
that quickly. No, that's one thing Andy Reid and general
manager they've been able to do it quickly, like make
some moves and reshape that offensive line because that offensive
line was getting manhandled in the Super Bowl. So they've
been able to do that in years past. We'll see

if they can do it again. But uh, but offensively
that's what they meet. My gosh, do they need because
I'm the dinkin dunks I'm thinking about that.

Won the same quarterback, like like the quarterback that broke
into the league after his first year he played a
second year.

We haven't seen that quarterback in a couple of years. No,

way with Travis Hunter. If you because you are a
wide receiver, what do you see that makes him unique

at the wide receiver position where a lot of teams
say that's where we would play him, either solely or primarily.
What makes him different? What have you seen on the
tape or what makes him where you go? Man, he
could definitely be that guy as a receiver.

I mean, he pretty much can do everything. He's a
really good runner. He's quick, he can run. But to me,
what is different about him? Because a lot of guys
are quick a lot of guys can run. A lot
of guys can run routes. What he does really well
that not is his body control, his ability to jump

in his body like he's so loose in his hips,
he's so loose in his upper by that he can
turn while he's in the air and make a hard catch.
Looks so easy. But the next guy does that, he
can't do it because he's so muscular and he tight
up top. He has no thorastic mobility. He's little things
like that. It gets overlooked because when that ball isn't caught,

it's like, oh, that was a tough catch. Well with
Travis Hunter, it's not a tough catch for him because
of the way his body is able to adjust while
the ball is in the air. It's just something you
don't see very often.

each year. But I wouldn't put too much into the
pro day not wearing gloves because it is routes on
their We are going to focus on the ball. Were
gonna see the ball to the touch, then we're gonna
run very ready. Well, you see a guy with or
without gloves drop a ball and routes on their If
you drop a ball on routs on their, man one
is a lack of focus or you just not seeing

the ball very well at all.

We're clearly far away from from any type of real
meaningful conversations, but did see this story. One of the
things that they were kind of dealing with last year
offensively was that their receiving corps was out and so Rashier, Rice,
Rashid Rice, Xavier.

Worthy, Hollywood Brown.

That was gonna be their core obviously in Travis Kelsey
being in the mix as well last year, but then
injuries kept Rice and then Brown out for most of
the last season, leaving basically Worthy, who was a rookie,
so he was trying to get his you know, sea
legs into the NFL. You're finally getting ready to see them,
and Patrick said, everything looks great right now. Getting the
guys back and healthy, I think the offense has a

chance to be really, really good.

The core group will be back in its entirety.

So the goal is to try to build on it
and even get better and try to go back to
some of the explosive plays that we've done in past years.

And that's the key part.

Too, man, because you even though I was like, it's
still Patrick Mahomes and still any read it's still the Chiefs.
We all agreed, and if anybody kept it real about that,
it was us the odd couple that something ain't right.

I don't know how you could watch that and think
that they were good, you know, like like and that

They struggled and offensively and the only problem I hear

offensive line fixed?

Like like seriously, that's the one thing they've been great
doing over few, you know, handfull of years, is fitting
that quickly. No, that's one thing Andy Reid and general
manager they've been able to do it quickly, like make
some moves and reshape that offensive line because that offensive
line was getting manhandled in the Super Bowl. So they've
been able to do that in years past. We'll see

if they can do it again. But uh, but offensively
that's what they meet. My gosh, do they need because
I'm the dinkin dunks I'm thinking about that.

Won the same quarterback, like like the quarterback that broke
into the league after his first year he played a
second year.

We haven't seen that quarterback in a couple of years. No,
they got to figured out because the dinks and dunks

And you know, again, you earn in life, you earn respect,

they can figure it out, So maybe they will. But
have I know they feel good having their guys back.
And obviously still early. We're sitting here in April, so
we got long ways to go. But that receiving corps,
that speed, that a big playability is gonna be huge.
