We definitely appreciate all the love. Rob.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
We've been having conversations about the draft or less than
twenty four hours away, and this is like my final
thought because you and I, I mean, we'll do one more
you know, an hour tomorrow. I don't forget we will
be on from four to five Pacific time, but seven
and eight Eastern time tomorrow. My final thought. And we
were talking about this with Bo even not too long ago.
Just what should do or I've been really thinking about it.

(01:54):
I'm just sometimes things just to me. It happens all
the time in sports, it happens all the time in
life in general. Where we can overthink something, we can
it literally can be staring at us and we find
reasons like nah, but it's too big, Noahn's too small,
she's too this, that job's too convenient, it's too and
we overthink stuff, we outthink ourselves. And Bo, you can

(02:18):
jump in on this, Manta, you can jump in on
this as well. Just maybe it's just me. Maybe I'm biased.
Maybe I just like the Sanders family, or maybe I
just like the fact that Shador did something which was
out of the norm. He and Travis Hunter, they both say, Hey,
we're gonna go to Jackson State, a historically black college university.
We're gonna pub that, you know, make it, you know,
get some love, some publicity.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
We're gonna ball out.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
You gotta remember, Travis Hunter was the number one player
in all of football at that time and coming out
of high school. They go obviously, they ball out for
a couple of seasons. Then they say, hey, we're gonna
go follow Pops and go to Colorado. And this is
a Colorado team that had won one game. Then they
win six. In the next year, which was last year,
they win nine and was winning ten. And all he
did was.

Speaker 3 (02:59):
The almost winning ten.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
What I'm saying, I mean to say, they win the one,
they get to have a shot at maybe winning their
their vision going into the cops football playerss what I
was trying to say. And all he did was put
up really really good numbers against you could say all
the small swax schools, HBCUs school, Okay, fine, I go
play better schools and oh what that was just the
first year that Okay, I played another year and I

(03:22):
put up great numbers, were winning, and my numbers got better,
our win total went up. And I just feel like
sometimes you're looking at somebody. Am I saying he was
in the SEC playing Alabama twice a year and all that,
and playing you know, Florida and whatnot.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
But my point is I've seen this.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
Happen with and I'm not saying he's a Heisman winner
like Lamar, but he was early on, considered a Heisman
cannonate early on. And with Lamar, when's the Heisman comes
back next year and they're like, oh, yeah, but he
I don't know, he's just this And like, Okay, Deshaun Watson,
all he did was win when he was at Clemson.
Ah yeah, but I just, oh, I don't he goes
second round and DeShawn watching him to be a heck

(04:00):
of a player pre the incidents and all the wildness
and madness, and you know Russell Wilson, Ah yeah, he's
just too small. I don't realize he's like a third
round pick. And Drew Brees you know this. You watch
him and you told you what did you tell the
Lions while you were back in Detroit.

Speaker 4 (04:16):
I was sending should have drafted him, and Drew Brees
won the second round. And that's not the small. It
was only about his high and they were.

Speaker 3 (04:24):
Just you small.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
He's only like six foot flat, which means he might
even be five to eleven. And Drew Brees end up
being Hall of Famer. So my point, I'm not saying it.
I'm not saying he's Drew Brees. I just feel like
he has shown you from place to place, from season
to season, team got better, switching conference, and I just
feel like he was consistent. He was very accurate. We

(04:45):
know that, and he's mobile enough. He doesn't have to
be Lamar Jackson. You don't have to be that. That's
in you know, you're asking a lot to be that.
But I'm like, man, what did he do wrong where
he started to drop? Did I miss something? And I
guess I like a guy that might be a little
more like Yo, I'm ready to win. I changed franchises,
that's what he said. He said, I changed organizations and

(05:07):
teams and you know, in programs, and I'm ready to
change a program in an NFL. I'm like, what's wrong
with that? Is he a little kacky yet does he
like to have a little ice, little jewey? Yeah? Have
you heard cam or talk?

Speaker 5 (05:19):
Have you?

Speaker 1 (05:20):
Have you watched him and Shadul when they were training together.
You would think they had beef. We were talking about
the NBA playoff beef. But they love each other, respect
each other, but they just talk crazy and they're arrogant
and khaky.

Speaker 3 (05:30):
I love it.

Speaker 1 (05:31):
So anyway, again, I'm not saying he's the return of
John Lway or Patrick Mahomes, but I'm like, sometimes, especially
if you're a middling team, he's sitting there. I'm like, man,
don't overthink this. This draft is that. This isn't one
of those drafts where we got all these players. Everybody's
screaming and yelling about that you have to have. And
I'm thinking, if you need a quarterback, or if your
quarterback is good but he's older, Hey, Jordan loved this thing.

(05:54):
Aaron Rodgers, this thing you know where you sit him
down for a little bit. Patrick Mahomes, this thing all right,
Alex yours for another year. You're not for right? Do
you think then we're gonna put him out there? That's
my thought bout. I'm a crazy Robert mc crazy, Monci.
I think you're crazy. And I'm gonna tell you why.

Speaker 4 (06:09):
They have every reason to draft the kid, especially from
his bloodlines, right being Deon Sanderson. And you just talked
about all the stuff that he did, had some good
numbers and whatnot. Okay, but for them to not those
up a red flag that there's something there that they

(06:30):
don't like. And that because of the Dion factor what
he did at Colorado, right and all this and all
the fanfare and you talk about it all he did.
And then there's a team, the New York Football Giants
that need a quarterback that right in position, that this
could solve their problem for the next twelve years fit.

(06:52):
But they don't believe that he is that though. They
go out and they go get an old Russell Wilson
and uh and believe because but but but but this
is it because we know the general manager, the coach
on the hot seat. But here you go, we got

(07:13):
the guy. Here he is, you know what I mean? Like,
if you make that Bowl pick and you get him
and he turns into something, You've saved your job, You've
turned the franchise like like that. That's there, Like going
with Russell Wilson and finishing seven and ten is not
going to save your job.

Speaker 1 (07:34):
So that then the point it's about to be fired
regardless because they ain't going more than seven.

Speaker 3 (07:38):
That's so you just told me to getting fired.

Speaker 1 (07:40):
But when you give my point, I rather fired and
say at least that there's a glimmer of hope.

Speaker 4 (07:44):
Is But that shows you how they don't believe, because
I get your point, but because they don't, they look
at this draft.

Speaker 3 (07:49):
Guess who. I don't want to listen to that organization,
but they looking at this draft and they and they
look at it as they could.

Speaker 1 (07:56):
Daniels poor with quarterback, Well, there's a.

Speaker 3 (08:00):
There's a lot of we could go on and on
and on.

Speaker 1 (08:01):
I mean, Daniel Jones is don't even he's on another
he's on a second.

Speaker 4 (08:04):
Team Dave Brown as quarterback they drafted back in the day.
But I'm just saying, that's what gives me reservations is
it's not a lot of quarterbacks in there. It's considered
a poor quarterback draft. And he was if he really
was an elite talent in their mind, how in the
world could you not grab him.

Speaker 3 (08:23):
If he's dead? Do you see what I'm saying no.

Speaker 1 (08:27):
I mean he's just sat there, fuman. He's been fuming
ever since Bo. He's still feel me he got a
four time MVP.

Speaker 3 (08:34):
I wouldn't four they got going I'm crazy.

Speaker 6 (08:40):
I just think there are legitimate concerns, Like all this
stuff leading up to this week in terms of like
the stories the league and something that's out there. I
feel like that's all very controlled and exists to like
serve a narrative. But the stuff that starts to come
out this week is like, really how teams are thinking.
Like Saturday, you started to see a bunch of steam
for Ashton Genty the Jaguars, and now that's pretty much.
I feel like the common point of agreement for a

(09:02):
lot of people is that he's gonna go five to
the Jaguars if someone doesn't trade up and take them
in front of him. So I don't think it's a
coincidence to the stuff about Shutter and his his meetings
and stuff came out this week. But I think, like personally,
when I look at guys in the draft, like I
value like what you put on film, and really like
he doesn't throw with anticipation, Like that's the thing that

(09:23):
everybody says he does, but when you watch, he doesn't
really do that. And like end of the day, like
they were what like thirteen and twelve at Colorado with
him at quarterback, Like they weren't good football team.

Speaker 1 (09:35):
Now bo you know, good and well, they weren't about
to do anything when they came, you know, they everybody,
and yeah they had to figure that they won one game,
so the idea that they won six and then they
would win nine is actually.

Speaker 6 (09:48):
But then you're talking about like the bones of the
Big twelve that they play in like not playing anybody.
I'm just not overly impressed with the stir Sanders. So
I'm I would be shocked at all if he's sitting
there in the second round because on top of like
maybe the talent not being everything you'd want in a
first round quarterback, some of the stuff that he did
while he was at Colorado, Like I can totally see

(10:10):
why NFL teams are turned off by the idea of
that guy being your quarterback and then dealing with everything
that being Dion's kid, it brings along with it.

Speaker 3 (10:18):
And that's what I'm saying.

Speaker 4 (10:18):
If he was talented and with the blood lones, you
would be like oh no, we gotta grab this guy
like like like you would think so, but but it's
it's exactly.

Speaker 6 (10:26):
I Really the thing I keep thinking about is like,
should hear Sanders as a prospect? Is kind of the
way that people talked about Kleb Williams last year in
terms of like his attitude and everything, like yeah, all
that's like Shadi is actually the stuff that people said
about Kayleb Williams in terms of like off the field distraction.

Speaker 4 (10:43):
The difference is Caleb was he played at a big
time university and has a trophy winner and you could
have nitpick and all his other stuff, but he played
big time competition and he won a heisman.

Speaker 3 (10:56):
I'm sorry, monster, you got anything on that? On this?

Speaker 4 (10:59):
Where are you on the schedule? Because I think he's
dropping the twenty something I do.

Speaker 3 (11:05):
He's gonna make him pay. That's what it feels like.

Speaker 7 (11:09):
I kind of side with you, Rob that there's obviously something.
There's something, even though right I do think some of
the criticism is unfair, do you know what I'm saying?
But there's got to be something where it's like it's
something's missing. Whatever they're looking at, something is missing, which
is why I also think he may drop or who knows,

(11:33):
maybe he gets taken.

Speaker 1 (11:34):
That's why I said there might be one team that's
talking smack and now we ain't.

Speaker 3 (11:38):
We definitely don't on him. So he mess around sitting
somewhere and they can say we got him. Uh yeah.

Speaker 1 (11:43):
I just think quarterbacks who have had a lot of starts.
I'm talking thirty forty starts lately, the Michael Pennix to
Jaden Daniels, the bow Nicks, they got there even the
year previous with CJ.

Speaker 3 (11:55):
Stroud and all that.

Speaker 1 (11:55):
There's a lot of guys who are getting a lot
of starts because they're getting there, playing longer into COVID,
extra year to get a graduator. Yeah, they're having a
lot of success instantly in the NFL versus you know
traditionally like great against me. I watched Michigan my whole life,
and it was always like the next man up, Tom Brady,
you get a fused okay, and then the next man up.
You get a senior year, and you only get maybe
half your junior year, so you get year and a

(12:17):
half where the starts and that's it. And then you
got to learn in the pros a lot of these
guys are getting thirty five, forty forty five cam Ward
a lot of starts, so they're coming in advance. And
I'm wondering, again, it's should door another guy or I've
seen a lot, been through a lot. I'm not only
started one year. And by the way, they've boasted up
a lot of guys before. Y'all like like that, we've

(12:39):
seen it. Oh, look at this guy, he's the one
out of the blue. We're like, wait, who they have
Blake Bordos?

Speaker 8 (12:43):
Who my other.

Speaker 3 (12:46):
I'm looking at you?

Speaker 8 (12:47):
What other question?

Speaker 7 (12:48):
Even though we have seen like these cocky, arrogant types before,
he's not the first and he won't be the last.

Speaker 3 (12:54):
St at all. But conversation, didn't.

Speaker 9 (12:59):
You did not?

Speaker 7 (13:00):
I feel he's not the first, he won't be the last,
even though he is tied to his great father. I
wonder if, like the locker room or the team, if
let's say they're like an older NFL team, if they're like,
I don't want this young guy coming in and being
all cocky.

Speaker 8 (13:14):
I wonder if that's a conversation that's being had.

Speaker 1 (13:16):
I yeah, I think I think people might be surprised
how young older dudes like young boy. I like to
swag like the conference because we need that death than
you coming in being timid timid, and especially if you're
playing well. Obviously, winning cures all, or at least if
you're balling. Maybe can't win every game, but if you're balling,
that cures all.

Speaker 8 (13:34):
Oh yeah, all right.

Speaker 6 (13:35):
Do you where do you think he would be drafted
if he was in last year's draft?

Speaker 10 (13:39):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (13:39):
He definitely.

Speaker 1 (13:40):
I mean, you got some super talented guys in that
particular draft.

Speaker 6 (13:44):
So you go, does he Does he go before Bonnicks?

Speaker 3 (13:48):
No? No, I don't.

Speaker 1 (13:49):
I don't think no both, especially because you know bow
in the offense, he what they were doing able to do. No,
And that that does play a role in every draft
at every position where you're you are just that great
running back and not a bunch, or you're that star
receivers and cornerback. That happens a lot of times. You're
just the best DV and there not that many, So

(14:09):
we got to get you higher because we need you.
So I do think he's benefiting from the fact that
there's only two point five quarterbacks. We hear about dark
being the point five, but you.

Speaker 4 (14:18):
Still would think that he would be drafted higher just
because of his profile, the lack of quarter other quarterbacks,
and the idea that teams knee quarterbacks like half the
league would would give away, would would get a new
quarterback if they could improve their situation half the teams.

Speaker 6 (14:35):
I just think it's interesting that the longer the draft
process has gone on, the more Shouter has started to
fall down.

Speaker 3 (14:40):
Right, he was a top three pick before the season.
In right, Right, they got two guys that are for
sure going to the top Giants and they draft him,
I would be I fall over.

Speaker 4 (14:50):
I would I would literally because I because remember I
haven't said to you.

Speaker 3 (14:54):
He just doesn't feel like a Giants pick.

Speaker 1 (14:56):
I think the Giants, yeah, having had success with great
defensive lineman, I can see them going Carter, you know,
and even Lawrence Taylor being outside linebacker, but just defensive forces.
I could see them just saying we're gonna go with
what we know has worked historically and again. And then
Russell Wilson. You can sell to the fans is look, guys,
we gotta pro he knows what he's doing. He's he's

(15:18):
a veteran g GOLLI shucks, go Giants is so bad
MB five and twelve, and I might be giving him
a couple, all.

Speaker 4 (15:26):
Right, eight seven seven ninety nine On Fox eight seven
seven nine nine six sixty three sixty nine, Kelvin's saying,
if teams passed on Chador, they're gonna regret it.

Speaker 3 (15:35):
Do you look at it like that?

Speaker 4 (15:37):
Like if a team doesn't pick him up in the
top ten or right top ten or so damn dudey.

Speaker 1 (15:42):
Yeah, I just if you know you need a quarterback,
you know you're not maybe top three because obviously that
they may like they had other needs. But and he's
sitting there, don't Deshaun Watson, don't Lamar Jackson, this, don't
uh Russell Wilson, this, don't Aaron Rodgers this.

Speaker 3 (15:56):
So are you.

Speaker 4 (15:56):
Sold on Shador? And if you were draft and where
would he be in your draft? Like just if you
would he beat top five, would he be top ten,
would he be top twenty or would he be second round?

Speaker 3 (16:09):
Eight seven? Right now, both.

Speaker 1 (16:12):
Both said sixth round. Monsey said undrafted? And where you
got him?

Speaker 3 (16:15):
I six you heard me say none of that? Eight

Speaker 3 (17:45):
To take calls. I think I'm the only one, and
I'm so lone. I'm lonely right now. You might be right.

Speaker 1 (17:52):
You might be the one nobody wants to. Even Bree
came in to like tell me she agreed with me
ten weeks ago. Now she doesn't know she's off your back.

Speaker 3 (17:59):
She's like I was, so he went to you. I like, guys,
you're like ten weeks ago.

Speaker 8 (18:03):
No, I ain't get where you're coming from, though I do.

Speaker 3 (18:06):
I appreciate it.

Speaker 4 (18:07):
Age seven seven ninety nine on Fox will take as
many calls if you want to get in on this.

Speaker 3 (18:12):
A lot of people want to chime in. Tom Brady said,
he's the man.

Speaker 4 (18:15):
Okay, Jack in South Carolina, you're on the Jack Company.

Speaker 3 (18:20):
I know Jack's with me. Fox Sports Radio. What's up Jack?

Speaker 5 (18:23):
Hey?

Speaker 10 (18:24):
Man? What's going on? Man? Thanks for taking a call? Yes, sir,
hey listen. I feel like they might be doing you
do a favor man, because the lad he's slipped, he's
gonna pretty much go to a team that don't really
need too many pieces butter quarterbacks.

Speaker 3 (18:36):
Good point.

Speaker 10 (18:36):
But on top but on top of that, you can
go back to the last team he is how many
quarters you had? Really was still it's maybe four or five?
I mean your Josh Rosen ain't doing nothing. Just say,
I'm donald. We know where he had Baker. He keep floating,
you ain't gonna put Richardson in this draft. And what
JJ mccartty did. He didn't do anything. But I understand
he didn't have the arrogant or he just believed in

(18:58):
ecept the way she'll do it, you know. But I
just feel like they're gonna work in his favor, man,
because if he keeps lading and he's gonna go to
a team pretty much got all the pieces and place.

Speaker 3 (19:06):
That's a good point. And that and that and that.

Speaker 10 (19:08):
Does and I hang up and I and I.

Speaker 3 (19:10):
Listen to you all boy, Thank you, Josh, appreciate it.

Speaker 4 (19:13):
Who else we got Richard in Seattle? You're on the

Speaker 10 (19:38):
What's going on? Fellas?

Speaker 3 (19:39):
How are you?

Speaker 13 (19:41):
I'm good, I'm good. I gotta agree with Jack from
the Low Country. I recognize that accent anytime. It almost
sounds Jamaican.

Speaker 3 (19:48):
Uh.

Speaker 13 (19:49):
But yeah, they're doing him a favor man. And and
all these these scouts that passed on Lamar Jackson, these
scouts are to be fired because they don't know anything.
They just I don't know what they choose a player
based off of. But this kid, Sander said, this is
a winner, period. He's gonna win and they gonna regret it.

Speaker 3 (20:09):
All Right, I'm not alone out here in the street.
Keep it rolling. Who else?

Speaker 4 (20:12):
We got eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox. We're
taking more of your calls on this, so keep calling in.
Kevin in Culver City, you're on the couple of Fox

Speaker 5 (20:25):
Worse of Wednesday?

Speaker 2 (20:26):
Love the fellas.

Speaker 15 (20:28):
Listen.

Speaker 4 (20:29):
I know you know what I had to do, Kevin
to talk uh Kelvin out of turning this into heathen Wednesday.

Speaker 3 (20:35):
I had to talk him out of it, Kevin. Kevin
already know that's a lie.

Speaker 5 (20:39):
I'm glad we got the worship Wednesday. Hey this guy
is I look at a player. I remember a USC
we had a game Matt Lioner against some teammate Mayer
and Rogers at Callen and some running back from opening
he see Marshall and Lynch.

Speaker 14 (20:55):
The game came out of the wide USC one. I
fast forward to now Taylor Williams against Shador Sanders in
Boulder was going toe to toe with Kleables and number
one pick throwing touchdown out of the touchdown. The best
quarterback on the field. And nobody can name any of
the receiver on that team outside Travis Hunder, Johnes Joe
Horn Jr. And why was that? Because Sor Sanders.

Speaker 5 (21:16):
Is making those other receivers better.

Speaker 14 (21:18):
He's got great time when.

Speaker 5 (21:19):
He throws the ball, and he's got the man he's
six to.

Speaker 4 (21:23):
Okay, so so tell him Kevin. So, Kevin, you're you
know more than the scouts. You've watched all the film.

Speaker 3 (21:30):
You it happens.

Speaker 4 (21:32):
I'm just yes. But but they've also been the guys.
They've been wrong both ways.

Speaker 3 (21:37):
That's true. Okay.

Speaker 4 (21:37):
So it ain't just on city, it's been it's been
a gamb But but I'm just saying, it ain't like
they get them all right or get them.

Speaker 3 (21:47):
All all nobody saying.

Speaker 1 (21:48):
And that's why I'm also bringing up to comparisons of
guys where it was kind of similar. And did just
see his offensive line for two years he was running
for his life. Colorado didn't have a chance to both
to their defense or offensive line, and he was doing
all that with a terrible offensive line.

Speaker 4 (22:03):
All right, hey, guys, we're gonna take more of your
calls eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox. Lineup eight
seven seven nine nine six sixty three sixty nine.

Speaker 3 (22:11):
But first we'll get you caught up.

Speaker 1 (22:12):
All right, we have Maazi right now, tell us some
of the scorer's happening.

Speaker 7 (22:18):
Blagyall yeah, the Celtics are just in a good way, annoying.

Speaker 4 (22:23):
So many scores, right can they win by eleven? I
don't care about anymore right now.

Speaker 3 (22:28):
Where they are right now?

Speaker 7 (22:28):
Okay, so right now they are up one o two
to ninety one. They are up by eleven. And it's
like every time the Magic do like a little.

Speaker 8 (22:35):
Run bring it with six seven.

Speaker 7 (22:38):
No, it's like, oh, Derek White a three offensive rebound
kickout it's so annoying in a good way.

Speaker 3 (22:45):
They are who we thought they were.

Speaker 7 (22:48):
You know, the report crown them, the report of the
players voting who they think is gonna win in the
athletic fifty seven fifty seven everyone you couldn't vote for
your own team, NBA player fifty seven percent pick the
Celtics and the ones who voted, and it's like, yeah,
of course, you see.

Speaker 8 (23:05):
What we see too. There's just too many guys.

Speaker 7 (23:08):
And know, Jason Tatum in this one because of his
wrist injury. I really thought Magic would get this win
without Jason Tatum. But Jalen Brown thirty three points, ten rebounds.
Gotta give Paolo Bancaro some flowers because he is awesome,
I know, thirty points, nine rebounds, seven assists.

Speaker 8 (23:24):
He just doesn't have enough around him to make run. Yeah, no,
every year a little bit better, if yere a little
bit better. But yes, the Celtics trying to make it
to and Ozero in this series.

Speaker 7 (23:34):
The heat, y'all in the second quarter hit eleven threes.

Speaker 8 (23:39):
Not the heat, I'm sorry, the Calves. The Calves in.

Speaker 7 (23:41):
The second quarter hit eleven threes forty three points alone
in the second quarter for Cleveland. They are up on
the Heat ninety three to eighty four early in the
fourth quarter, so Heat trying to make a bit of
a comeback. Tyler Hero has twenty seven points the leading
scorer for the Heat right now, very early in the fourth.
So we'll see how that one ends up. And this
is Game two Cleveland, Lea's the series one zero still

(24:04):
to come. It's Game two between the Warriors and the
Rockets and that tips off at nine thirty Eastern time.
In Major League Baseball, the Mariners are still topping the
Red Sox eight five. It's the top of the ninth inning.
In Boston. The White Sox and the Twins are tied
at three apiece. Bottom of the fifth inning. Back and
forth between the Dodgers and the Cubs. Chicago up seven
to six at home, they're about to start the bottom

(24:24):
of the eighth inning, and the Astros are topping the
Blue Jays at home three to one. Bottom of the
seventh inning about to start, while the Nationals edged the
Orioles four to three. Baltimore is nine to fourteen to
start the season. The NHL Playoffs are also underway. Game
two between the Canadians and the Capitols and Washington is
up two to one with about six minutes to go

(24:44):
in the third period. In the NFL, the Lions and
All Pro safety Kirby Joseph have agreed to a four year,
eighty six million dollar extension, making him the highest paid
safety in NFL history and Hall of Fame. Chicago Bear
defensive tackle Steve McMichael passed away to after a years
long battle with als. He was sixty seven years old.

Speaker 1 (25:03):
That's all right, thank you so much, Manzi have a
wonderful night.

Speaker 3 (25:08):
You too, have al you done after this?

Speaker 8 (25:10):
No, I'm not right.

Speaker 3 (25:11):
We'll still have a wonderful night.

Speaker 8 (25:12):
Thank you. We're not making it six years.

Speaker 1 (25:20):
So I'm say sky here man, uh, what did you okay?
So you need the do you need the Celtics to do?

Speaker 3 (25:26):
What went by eleven? And they were up what it
is right now?

Speaker 4 (25:30):
But they have the ball forty something seconds so if
they can get a basket here or something.

Speaker 1 (25:34):
Issue is they don't need to score, so they might
have a terrible persent, you know what I mean.

Speaker 8 (25:37):
It just they could just stay like this, Yeah, the
scorgage just say.

Speaker 4 (25:41):
They don't need it, no, but they need to do something.
You know what I mean, you don't want a twenty
four second.

Speaker 1 (25:45):
What you're trying to say? Somebody calling, somebody making a call.

Speaker 3 (25:49):
It's ten and a half, so they went by eleven.

Speaker 1 (25:51):
I'm good, good, Well here Paulo Ben Carroll's gonna draw
a file and not free throws.

Speaker 3 (25:55):
No, he lost it.

Speaker 1 (25:56):
Yeah, look at us doing play by play, thank you
by thank you.

Speaker 4 (26:01):
All right, we got a few more calls, yeah, seven
seven ninety nine on Fox. The conversation was for those
who just joined in. Uh, we were talking about Shador
Sanders and I just maybe I'm higher on him then
and then a lot of people I seem to be,
but the calls actually Robert with me. And by the way,
for over forty years, tire rack has been helping customers
find the right tires for how, what and where they drive.

(26:23):
Ship fast free back by free row has a protection
with convenient installation options like mobile tire installation, tiraq dot
com the way tire buying should be.

Speaker 3 (26:31):
Yeah, I'm actually shot.

Speaker 1 (26:32):
So far most of the callers have been feeling me like, man,
just imagine what he would have done in the SEC
when he got that all type of offensive line and
that type of other weapons and help. You know, it's interesting.
I didn't think, actually people feel me since y'all didn't
feel me, I'm looking at you, Manci.

Speaker 3 (26:48):
Brian in Michigan, you're on the couple of Fox Sports Radio.
What's up beat?

Speaker 10 (26:53):
Hey, what's going on?

Speaker 16 (26:54):
What's going on day?

Speaker 10 (26:56):
Guys?

Speaker 3 (26:57):
That's some day to you, hump day.

Speaker 16 (27:00):
This is my take on it. So in this day
and age with the NFL, and it's a win now
league and you're looking for impactful players in the first
two rounds. You want guys that are going to come
in and make an immediate impact. And I don't think
that there's there's a lot of other players and a
lot of other positions to fit that more than he.

Speaker 3 (27:22):
All Right, I'm not that I get it. I totally
get it.

Speaker 1 (27:25):
I absolutely can understand why people are feeling that way.
I just feel like, you know, giving some more help
and more offensive weapons, I wonder what else you could
have done?

Speaker 3 (27:34):
Who else we got?

Speaker 4 (27:36):
Chris in Miami, you're on the odd couple of Fox
Sports Radio.

Speaker 3 (27:39):
What's up, Chris?

Speaker 9 (27:41):
Hey, what's up? Guys? Hey listen, I'm into Shadua camp. Hey,
I'm down here with two tag by law. I would
take Shadua over tour right now. But for him, I
think he has a pedigree to do it. His dad
is a smart guy. You put him around smart people,
I believe.

Speaker 4 (28:00):
Gonna be successful.

Speaker 9 (28:00):
Listen. I would hate for them to go to Pittsburgh
because I'm a Lamar Jackson fans. But if you put
them in Pittsburgh with those weapons, that'll be sick.

Speaker 1 (28:10):
All right again, Rob, listen, man, the listeners are with
me shockingly.

Speaker 4 (28:15):
John in Florida, You're on the couple of Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 3 (28:19):
What's up?

Speaker 13 (28:20):
John Fellas, Rob Calvin Good Evening boys Worship Wednesdays. I like, Listen,
I'll tell you this.

Speaker 10 (28:27):
If the Browns and the Giants, either team doesn't draft him,
they are who we thought they were. You know what
I mean.

Speaker 16 (28:34):
There's no sense they need a quarterback and your doorstandards
his past completion in college.

Speaker 10 (28:41):
That's what those two teams need.

Speaker 13 (28:43):
You can get all the.

Speaker 10 (28:44):
Best guys around. If you don't have the quarterback position right, you.

Speaker 5 (28:48):
Know, you end up picking Verpe And like the Browns
and the.

Speaker 9 (28:50):
Giants, those organizations are who they are because they can't
get it right.

Speaker 4 (28:54):
Well, well, somebody could say, okay, but the Giants have
won three Super Bowls in the last twenty something years,
and I hear your point. They've made a lot of mistakes,
but they have won Super Bowl. Let's not make like
the Giants have in one super Bowl, not direct them.

Speaker 6 (29:08):
But you know, it's you know, it's kind of interesting
something I've noticed with all these callers, the way they're
talking about should or why are none of them arguing
that the should be going first overall?

Speaker 1 (29:17):
Right, okay, because see there you go, because they know
you've been hanging around rob.

Speaker 3 (29:23):
Streamists.

Speaker 4 (29:24):
You extreme, if he's that good he's talking about, I'm
afraid if he goes to Pittsburgh because with all those weapons.

Speaker 1 (29:32):
Yes, wait wait wait wait wait he should I gotta
go number one, just to say I don't need to
be in the first dropped out.

Speaker 3 (29:38):
I don't even mentioned it. Nobody. It's like cam Ward.
No one's questioning him at all. Care can be better
than him.

Speaker 1 (29:44):
It doesn't have to be that that cam is see
you got you guys do that. That's why they call again,
That's why they call it. Gambley final score one O nine,
Boston one hundred, Orlando. Am I right boat? They had
it at ten and a half they know at eleven
and then want they literally they literally know what they're that.

Speaker 3 (30:02):
It's unbelievable Vegas, it is unbelievable. Hey Will, Well Miami
wanted to.

Speaker 1 (30:07):
Get a little scary too, by the way, now, well,
will what what's up?

Speaker 5 (30:11):
Bad?

Speaker 15 (30:13):
What's going on? What's going on? Once and once sunny today?
Now not quite so bomby Green Bay. Kind of the
climate that I get out here. And you know, Dallas
just like Yankees fans, Dallas Cowboys fans travel well man.
So we have some hopeful up here that the Dallas
Cowboys are going to end up hopefully selected shador if

(30:36):
not at there not if not at their uh you know,
at their first round pick at some point and the
way that it seems and I don't want to kind
of you know, uh you know, it's not like a
land basin, but I think that your door is almost
at a at a at a point where he may
get genode and that is that's possible to go in
the first round. But I think that they are looking

(30:57):
at maybe taking on a second but hopefully you know
that Dallas does right. A few of the teams do right,
but there are definitely some some folks, the fans out
here hoping that their teams do as best as they
can uh to get the constantity spid the buddy they
need to, but a face to take the call, guy.

Speaker 3 (31:13):
No doubt appreciate it. Yeah, appreciate you will.

Speaker 4 (31:15):
How about Robbie in Wisconsin. You're on the odd couple
of Fox Sports. Ready, what's up Robbie?

Speaker 17 (31:20):
Hey, Robin Calvin, thanks for having my call.

Speaker 3 (31:23):
Yes, Sir, I think with all.

Speaker 17 (31:25):
The negative press on Shador Sanders, I think it's only
going to benefit the Giants.

Speaker 2 (31:29):
I think a lot of people.

Speaker 17 (31:30):
Don't realize that they also hold pick number thirty four,
so they're hoping that he falls at early second round.
They can grab Travis Hunter at pick number three right
and have him set up with Shador and you know, potentially.

Speaker 10 (31:42):
Say the franchise.

Speaker 1 (31:45):
There is the thought of that that if he we
can get to guys, we can get Carter, we can
get defensive health there, and then I just.

Speaker 4 (31:51):
Don't know how fere the Giants and Travis Hunter's there
and Shaudure seriously, like Shadur, Travis Hunter, he ain't gonna
be there, Well, he'll be going to it? Is he
going to clean it's pretty much they're Yeah, they're enamored.
I'm just they're enamored, and what's not to be enamored
with him too?

Speaker 3 (32:07):
No, I agree, it's a lot. Once in a lifetime
if that guy's on the board, if you're the number
one in both positions, it's crazy and you're not drafting him.
You'd have to explain that one because you got some splaining.

Speaker 4 (32:17):
Your clock has started as GM all right, what I
mean like like, uh, okay, let's see how this guy
becomes this and that and.

Speaker 3 (32:24):
We'll be able to say, Okay, you're done here. Yeah,
all right, we got the last call.

Speaker 1 (32:28):
A whole bunch of stuff we got into eight seven
seven ninety nine on Fox eight seven seven ninety How
to Fox and both take that Rob, take that at Manci,
take that shout out to all you on team Okay,
So you're not doing I'm not about to do your extreme.
So he wins three super Bowls. I'm not letting you
do that, Bro, I can't paint you in the corner. No,
I'm not letting you do it. So he wins what

(32:49):
four MVPs?

Speaker 3 (32:50):
Not doing that with you? Eight seven, seven ninety nine
on Tom Brady didn't win four? Did he? Three?

Speaker 9 (32:55):
Three?

Speaker 3 (32:55):
Four? Might be a three? All right, A couple number three.

Speaker 12 (33:01):
It's last call time on the odd couple.

Speaker 2 (33:03):
If you had to take and couldn't get in all show,
where's your chat? You call us ninety nine on Fox.
Hurry up, Robin Kelvin, gotta get out of here. Fox
Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in the nation.

Speaker 3 (33:26):

Speaker 1 (33:31):
A couple, Robin Kelvin, one more time for you boys on.

Speaker 3 (33:34):
A worship Wednesday.

Speaker 1 (33:35):
Shout out to everybody, man, it's been a good show
to everybody's been excited. We got some games starting Houston,
just starting with hosting the Warriors. Two nothing there in
the first minute. Some close games all of a sudden, uh,
Miami within two.

Speaker 4 (33:50):
To the Miami plus twelve and a half. I thought
they would lose, but not by that score.

Speaker 1 (33:55):
Yeah, Miami showing everybody. Hey, shut up, don't disrespect us
like that. The culture, the heat culture. All right, man,
we got last call right now.

Speaker 12 (34:13):
It's last call, last call time on the.

Speaker 5 (34:25):
Figure.

Speaker 3 (34:26):
It out, rob.

Speaker 1 (34:27):
If we don't go high pitched, you can go like
if you go long, but you are, you're pushing out
too much.

Speaker 3 (34:34):
Here you can last, you can last longer.

Speaker 4 (34:37):
Hey, Joel in Michigan, you are the last call here
on the odd couple of Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 3 (34:42):
What's up, Joel?

Speaker 9 (34:44):
Hey, guys, how you doing. I'll listen to you guys
all the time in my truck driving around.

Speaker 4 (34:49):
Thank you, and I just want to Talkings been hating today?

Speaker 3 (34:57):
What is going on?

Speaker 1 (34:58):
I'm not gonna lie. The phones have been hating today
on a worship It's the devil.

Speaker 3 (35:04):
It is Satan. Trying to stop laughing. A bunch of my.

Speaker 4 (35:09):
Metro PCs never sounded this bad, right, my old what
they call the candy bar phone man. Uh yeah, anyway,
I don't know what he was about to say, but
he was about to spit some real This is what
It was.

Speaker 3 (35:21):
Nice that he said that he listens all the time
while he's driving over So that's all we needed to hear. Right,
you've never had Metro. I had Metro PCs. I had
it like before, the only reason I switched. Wait a minute,
why would you think he would have Metro? You know
it was it was thirty dollars a month. I had
Metro PC.

Speaker 10 (35:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 11 (35:40):
Rob, you like good high quality apparel, right right, yeah,
once in a while.

Speaker 3 (35:45):
Okay.

Speaker 11 (35:45):
You also like social media, yes, and you like to
take pictures? Yes, So I would assume a high value
phone and good.

Speaker 1 (35:52):
No, no, but remember this is the peak Metro, Like
this is twenty twelve years ago, I'm assuming, right, yeah, yeah,
so this we weren't quiet as praise And I was.

Speaker 4 (36:02):
Like, why would I pay seventy five dollars when I
could pay thirty or third?

Speaker 3 (36:07):
And you know that would line up with how I rolled.

Speaker 4 (36:10):
That why I'm saying the only reason I have a sixteen,
which is is that the most reason, yes, sixteen, the
only reason I have it is because they were like,
you could trade in your phone, not pay any money
up upgrade, right, And that was the catch. If I
had to pay a dollar ten dollars, I would not

(36:33):
have a sense I had. Well, I had thirteen right
now out of twelve. I was good with that. Clear, thirteen,
I'm good. And that's the only reason why I got
this is because it was no extra money, and I'm like,
why wouldn't I?

Speaker 3 (36:45):
And you see the pictures in the video, Craze take, well,
we know we see the did you send them to us? Yes?
I see first thing, Well you look him up early
because I'm already at worse.

Speaker 4 (36:55):
I'm trying to be like friendly, like let people know
what's no look see see shot.

Speaker 1 (37:00):
He just he insinuated that we didn't appreciate them. I said,
was we see them? We see them, that's all I said.
We see the picture. I didn't say what we were.

Speaker 4 (37:10):
When I do a group, it just takes one time.
That's so now you're eliminated from the group.

Speaker 3 (37:16):
I don't believe Rob all the time. I don't believe
you know. That's it. That's how I roll. That's my
ex wife one time.

Speaker 4 (37:25):
I do feel like you said that, but I feel
like she might also be saying that too, you think so. Yeah,
I mean, I know you told me what you told me,
when you told me what you told me, But all good.

Speaker 3 (37:32):
You know how you feeling about this game right here?

Speaker 1 (37:34):
Man? The Warriors Rockets can. Rockets get back? Yeah, Dylan
Brooks talking smack.

Speaker 3 (37:40):
I love it. Yeah, I mean, there's there's no reason
not to think that they can. Yeah, I hope.

Speaker 1 (37:45):
So I want to you know, I want you got
a lot.

Speaker 3 (37:49):
They got punked.

Speaker 1 (37:50):
They only had eighty five, which is their fewest of
the points in the season. And I think Jalen Green,
who's right here, is getting ready to next past. I
think they I think there did not appreciate the way
that they played, and I think they're gonna want to
come out here compete. Not to mention they were they
were the better team throughout the season. So but it
should be a good one for sure. They got a
lot of athletes. So you know, I was talking about

(38:10):
Boston and they don't shoot the three at all, nearly
like that. But as far as just athletes and you know,
six four to six eight guys who can just jump
out the gym and do a bunch of things. The
Rockets got a bunch of them. So it should be
good when it's been fussed and even this game, I'm
gonna say it's Cleveland heat game. Well, but you gotta understand,
and I'm not surprised. Like in the school, That's why

(38:31):
I took Miami plus twelven.

Speaker 4 (38:32):
They're fighting for their season, like it's hard to win
if Cleveland's able to win this game, just like the
Knicks will playing the Pistons. You're fighting for your season,
like for real. The Knicks know that they don't have
to win. I'm not saying that they don't want to win.
It plays in the back the Lakers fighting for their season,
like you know, like like there there is a degree
of that.

Speaker 3 (38:52):
And tonight Houston is fighting for their season.

Speaker 4 (38:55):
They can't lose the first two games at all back
and then go to go to San Francisco, do.

Speaker 3 (39:00):
You know what I'm saying. And Miami's the same thing.
Now they're on the road.

Speaker 4 (39:04):
But you don't want to be in a two to
our hole trying to go to Miami having to win
two games or whatever it is.

Speaker 3 (39:10):
By the way, Tyler Hero is going crazy. A hero
ain't nothing but a sandwich.

Speaker 1 (39:16):
Thirty one, thirteen to twenty two, got his team down two.
He's going crazy, right, Oh, big shot by Dotaane.

Speaker 3 (39:24):
Once he got forty seven.

Speaker 4 (39:26):
I mean what that dude was So he is balling
out ball I don't I don't know what the number
totalist he twenty seven? I thought he had more than that. Yeah,
there you go, bad pass right. Yeah, they're still in it.
That's a good game. They're competing out here. No that's
what it goes back to our earlier points. Just walk
the TV theme song thurstay is it?

Speaker 3 (39:46):
I don't know. Do we do that for like a show?
An hour show. We will be here tomorrow forty hour.
Make sure you joined look at the thought of not
working upset them. I'm getting paid for a full day.
I'm working tomorrow.

Speaker 4 (39:58):
The Jason Smith Show with Mike Harmon is coming up next.

Speaker 12 (40:01):
I never miss your radio show. I never hear it,
so I never miss it.

Speaker 3 (40:04):
Did you hear that
