Shooter.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
It's time no Welcome to the naughty but nic sham
your house dump Shooter. And it is Monday, which means
our dear friend, Garrett Vogel joins us. Hey, Garin, are
you there? Hey Boby, Hello, my friend's special day today.
We're trying to tape this episode so that we have
some visual as well as sad Garrett, this is the
new thing, this YouTube.

Speaker 3 (00:32):
People, the naughties want it, and we deliver. You know
what I mean, how do we deliver? I don't know.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
You know, just like Amazon, you don't question it. You
just accept it.

Speaker 3 (00:40):
It shows up on your doorstep and you open the
package and you move on with your life.

Speaker 1 (00:44):
I leaning with this.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
I love the faith. I love the faith that you
have in us, Garrett. I think I do too. Okay,
let's jump into as show. We've got a ton of
gossip today. What time is it, my friends? It is
time t time. Big story at the top of the show.
So George Clooney's wife or mottl skipped his biggest night.
He's on Broadway. So this has been Georgie's dream for
a really, really long time. He's getting raverviews, it's selling out.

(01:06):
I was lucky enough to see the play on Saturday.
It is phenomenal. He is extraordinary. However, on opening night,
it felt like the whole world was there, including Jennifer Lopez.
I've never seen a Broadway opening with this many stars. However,
there was one person missing, Emmel Clooney. I know, well,
he said to reporters who asked, where's them all? And

(01:29):
he said, she's with the kids. So he has two
seven year old twins, and so he said she was
with the twins. However, a source tells me this just
doesn't add up. They have help. They could get a babysitter.
They certainly have the money to afford to hire somebody
to come over. And I know that sounds silly, but
a lot of people don't. I get it. I grew

(01:51):
up with not a lot of money. My mom and
dad couldn't really afford babysitters. We're talking about George Clooney.
He could have got a babysitter if he wanted. What
is going on here? What do you think, Karret?

Speaker 3 (02:02):
You know, I I was reading the story, and you know,
I kind of kind of understand the.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
Perspective of a babysitter.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
So like on Saturday, I'm no George Cloning, and my
wife's not in all by any means. But my wife
went out with friends right and a friend of mine said, hey,
you want to come out to dinner. That left me,
you know, looking for a babysitter and trying to trying
to get a babysitter at certain times could be tough.
And given yes, they have money, they could pay any
babysitter in the world. But it's just the principle of

(02:32):
you know, like I don't know you, I don't kind
of understand it, I understand it, I don't know if
I do, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
But I don't have children, So I'm deferring to you
on this one. I think the difference between your story,
there's many differences, but the biggest difference between this and
Opening Night is this wasn't spur of the moment your
friends called you in the last minute. I've had friends
that have called me in the last minute, and it's
difficult to juggle. However, what has probably been on my
schedule for a good year is my husband's Opening Night,
Like that is something that he's in the diary.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
The glitz and the glamor of Opening Night. I get
it the red carpet and the photos. But you know
what if she went the night before? You know what
I mean, like it's it's it's not opening night, but
it is opening night in a sense because the show
already is at one hundred percent. You know what you're doing.
They're not changing much. I mean, so what if she
saw it the night before or the night before that?

Speaker 2 (03:20):
I think that didn't happen. I have friends that went
during previews the night before the opening. My friend was
in the audience and he saw Julia Roberts. Julia didn't
want to go to the opening night. She doesn't like
there's big sort of moments, but she wanted to support George.
There's no photographs of them all coming in or out
of this theater. I know the photographers are camped out
at the front, on the back of the venue. There's

(03:42):
just been no evidence of her being there. What makes
it extraordinary for me is that George has been very
very clear that this has been his dream for a
really long time. This isn't just some movie he's making
another TV show. No, this isn't an appearance on the
Kelly Clarkson, No, this is his dream. He's wanted to

(04:02):
be on Broadway his whole life. His aunt was Rosemary Clooney,
a legendary singer, and so I think that this is
something he's really been looking forward to. His wife wasn't
there now I'm hearing rumors. I don't know if this
is true yet, but she's moved back to France. So
the children go to school in France. People think that
they're based in the case, they've been in France for

(04:24):
a really, really long time. I would have given the
kids the day of school, maybe so that I could
go to Daddy's big opening night.

Speaker 3 (04:32):
But you know what, you know, for for Dad, meaning
George Clooney, like anything that Dad does. Like at one point,
like they're almost numb to it, you know what I mean,
Like it's it's it's he movie star, entrepreneur, like the
are these are things in Plus, a seven year old
does not want to sit through that show, right.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
I'm not saying I don't think it's a show for
seven years. It's a great show, it's a great play.
I don't think it's a show for seven years. But
remember he's not just the of this, he's the writer.
He wrote the script. He's going to be up for
a Tony Award for Best New Play, and he could
win it. He might win for Best and yeah, I

(05:11):
think he's got a very good shot of winning. But
will a male go to the ton is Is there
trouble here? That's what I'm trying.

Speaker 1 (05:17):
I think that will be a tel rab.

Speaker 3 (05:19):
If she doesn't show up at the Tony's hand in hand,
then then I will. I will say, you know what,
Rob Shooter, For the first time in my life, I
will admit you are right and I am wrong.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
First time. Maybe we've done.

Speaker 3 (05:30):
Record on record.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
This is a very interesting part of what we do
for a living. Often we know of trouble in celebrity
relationships when they stop turning up together. When we stopped
seeing Jennifer with Ben Affleck, it was a little bit
of a red flag. I'm not saying it's the whole story,
And this is certainly the beginning of this story now.

(05:54):
But the rumors have started. They're out there really loud.
They might not be in the main stream yet, but
they're certainly online. I'm hearing a lot of whispers. I
called some of George's friends and they did not know
why she was. They thought it was hard, they thought
it was hard. I didn't get to Brad this time,
but I think they weren't there either though. Where were they?

(06:16):
Shouldn't they? Garrett and Broadway, I'd be there. I would be.

Speaker 1 (06:20):
There and there for you as well.

Speaker 3 (06:22):
Yeah, I will be front and row for Barry Manilow's
stint at Radio City Music Hall coming up, as as
as I will be the truest of fanoos just for you.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
I'm sure he will appreciate it, which brings us to
our whole question of the day. A more clooney. George's
wife skipped his big Broadway opening night. We've not seen
her at the play at all, George said. The whole
family moved to New York. We haven't really seen them,
and New York's are city where we do get to
see celebrities. There are photographers everywhere. What do you think?

(06:56):
Is this a red flag? Is there trouble in this relationship?
But we're going to be hearing about this now. I
know we all want to be like, no, it's not
gonna happen. They're all fine. This is the beginning. Trust
your friend, Rob, this is the beginning. Hey, go vote
on at Twitter page at Naughty Nice Rob a Facebook
page is not to gossip and be sure to take
back tomorrow to hear your results.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
Take on it. What are you working on all right? Well?

Speaker 3 (07:19):
Elton John was on SNL over the weekend too with
Brandy Carlisle and pretty amazing.

Speaker 1 (07:25):
I mean Elton John.

Speaker 3 (07:26):
To think about it, Sir Elton John, Sir Elton John,
make sure you get it correct and he will correct.

Speaker 1 (07:31):
You if you call him Elton John. He is seventy
eight years old. Seventy eight years.

Speaker 3 (07:35):
Old and still just as rocking the piano like he's twenty,
you know, and as you may know that he has
been having trouble with his eyesight over the last couple
of years too, where he just admitted just over the
weekend too, where he has trouble seeing his children, He
has trouble seeing, seeing the piano, just things in front
of him, and it's very stressful. But with that, while

(07:58):
he played on SNL the week and he's been using
a teleprompter not just on SNL but while on stage
in concert two to help him along with some of
his songs because not only not only does he have
trouble seeing, but he has trouble remembering some of the
lyrics sometimes.

Speaker 1 (08:12):
And I don't blame the man.

Speaker 3 (08:14):
I mean, think of how many songs he has to
put into his brain. Like I have trouble remembering what
I had for breakfast, to ask Ellen to remember every
single lyric at times, and you know what, especially on TV.
And I think you know this too, Rob, No matter
if you are the Elton Johns of the world or
just literally starting out, if you're performing, it's there as

(08:34):
almost like a fail safe.

Speaker 1 (08:36):
Yeah, you know, like like.

Speaker 3 (08:38):
Artists use it just in case, you know, and some
people that don't understand the business see it and go.

Speaker 1 (08:43):
Oh my god. They use a teleprompter to sing there song.

Speaker 3 (08:48):
It's more there just just in case, because there's a
lot going on too. But it's you know, and and
I think I'm at the point where it's it's kind
of I guess sad to say, where you see people
like sir Elton John getting older and then the part
of why but you don't want to your all admit
it though. And you and I will have our readers eventually,

(09:09):
our glasses on as we sit on the porch sipping
some tea and reading the newspaper.

Speaker 1 (09:15):
You know, it will happen. It'll happen.

Speaker 2 (09:17):
To us too. Yeah, I think growing older is something
that I know would not think. I know it's going
to happen to all of us, and yet there's still
so much rumors and speculation and innuendo about, oh my goodness,
they're vering older.

Speaker 1 (09:28):
Yes they are.

Speaker 2 (09:29):
Sarah Jessica Parker talked about this recently. She was shot
with gray hair and people were well horrified, and she's like,
I have gray hair.

Speaker 1 (09:36):
I'm SI Kerry Brady.

Speaker 2 (09:40):
We don't let people grow up, and I think that's
because we don't want to grow up ourselves. I saw
Elton John recently in concert. He's phenomenal. The songs, the performance,
the voice, he's phenomenal. Now let's point out to on
SNL he was there with Brandy. They have a new
album out, which I hear is one of the best
Elton John's albums in the last decade. The reviews for
it incredible. He was singing a new song, so this

(10:02):
wasn't one of the old classic songs that he's been
doing for thirty forty fifty fifty years. This was a
brand new song. He didn't want to mess it up,
and so it was sort of like a safety net there.
I don't have any problem with this. I really don't.
When I get to see pop stars, I remember I
saw Barbra Streis and perform everything she says, including Hello
New York was on the teleprocter. So I don't think

(10:22):
I have a problem with it, do you?

Speaker 3 (10:24):
No, not at all, And especially it's one of those
things where I think, no matter what, Sir, Elton John
is one of those performers that he earned.

Speaker 2 (10:33):
He's got nothing to prove at this point, you're Elton John. Yes, sir, sir,
You've got nothing to prove, Okay, Elton, Sir Elton. Moving along,
we find out that Megan Markel's selling out all her
products might not be as fabulous as it what it
first sounds. So Megan Monktel launched her products last week.
She had honey for twenty eight dollars. How expensive, Jammy's

(10:53):
fourteen dollars, Tease twelve dollars.

Speaker 1 (10:56):
Has she been talking to Gwyneth Paltrow?

Speaker 2 (10:58):
She has, They had a little meat together. So it's
sold out within an hour. Now, this got headlines everywhere. However,
sources are telling me that it now was really carefully orchestrated.
Let me explain two of each product. So Meg, that's
all right. Megan is a marketing genius, there's no doubt
about that. But here's the catch. She's not actually making
any money. So she only had a limited edition. There

(11:20):
was not a lot of product to sell. So if
you only make five pots of jam, you're probably gonna
sell them pretty quick. She didn't make twenty thousand. I
think she made more than five. Now. The problem is
with this is there's something called economy of scale, which
means the more you produce, the lower you can average
the price. I think I'm getting that right. So when
you only produce a limited amount each of those each

(11:44):
of those products are very very expensive. So she wanted
the headlines that she sold out, but we shouldn't be
too impressed by that because we don't actually know how
many she sold. And insiders are telling me it wasn't
a lot. It wasn't a lot. I mean, I want
to cut her ABC.

Speaker 1 (11:59):
I need you want to see NBC explaining business to
me next Arab please, Yeah, terrorists give me tariffs speech
and to speak.

Speaker 3 (12:05):
I think I would understand it because I understood what
you just said you very much.

Speaker 2 (12:09):
Look at that.

Speaker 3 (12:10):
Yeah, if I read it, I would have been like, okay, great,
what how But the way you I think the way
you explained for those that aren't in the know or
aren't familiar with business, I think it was it was
said perfect.

Speaker 2 (12:20):
Well, good, I'm glad that you have understood it because
now you can explain it to me. No, I get it.
I get it. I wish that get well here. And
a lot of companies do this. A lot of people
do limited edition. When people do lines at Target, they
don't make that much products. They want it, want it
to sell out, but you've also got to make a profit.
I think Megan's still figuring all this out, and I
do wish the best here. I tried to order some

(12:42):
of that jam, but unfortunately it did sell at A
friend of mine did get it.

Speaker 1 (12:47):
I'm going to make you some jam.

Speaker 2 (12:48):
I want some. I want some of Megan's jam. Okay,
moving along, we have a I love Michael Bubley. I'm
just gonna be honest about this efferent Michael Blue Blair story.
What is happening. He's been dragged into the press and
he doesn't like.

Speaker 3 (12:59):
And you know what, you know who's dragging into the
press another reality story. So it's not like it's not
like another singer. It's not like a Grammy Award winning uh,
you know, actress.

Speaker 1 (13:09):
Whatever.

Speaker 3 (13:10):
So the Bachelorette alum who is also on Dancing with
the Stars, Gabby Winday Winday, she she made some claims
that Boublay literally I ft her during their twenty twenty
run on Dancing with the Stars said, uh, now, she
was very vocal about this encounter. Uh and and and
Boublay is baffled by the whole thing.

Speaker 1 (13:31):
Who is she?

Speaker 3 (13:33):
Which is a great comeback if you think about it. So,
if you're accused of something like and and it goes
everywhere because you might have seen it on your timeline, take.

Speaker 1 (13:40):
The route of who the hell is she? Pretty much,
you know.

Speaker 2 (13:45):
I'm told sources he's totally baffled by this. And he's
not doing a Mariah Carey j lo like I don't
know her like it just is like, what is this?
And we should be clear here, the former Bachelorette is
not accusing Michael of sexual harassment into a crossing a line.
This is a look, she said. He gave her a
look which she thought was quite quite.

Speaker 1 (14:06):
She delivered it, but the way she delivered it scandal.

Speaker 2 (14:09):
She's a reality star. Let's let's face it. She knows
what she's doing. She knows how to make a headline.
She did make a headline. We were all talking about this,
but yeah, Michael was like what And if you imagine
the amount of people, including me, that have made eyes
at Michael, like, forget Michael's eyes, It's.

Speaker 1 (14:24):
Like a Michael bublay Ie orgy.

Speaker 2 (14:26):
You know, so cute. He's one of my favorite celebrities, Garrett.

Speaker 3 (14:31):
He is very I guess the closes you could say
is normal normal.

Speaker 2 (14:37):
He's just absolutely charming. And hey, with the team Michael
on this, we're going to take a quick break and
we'll be right back. Welcome back to the not even
nic show on your heads from shoot with that dear friend,
Garrett Rgel. Hey, Garrett, let's get to the poles that
Silas Shaw. We talked about Tom Hanks being heartbroken over
his daughter's brutal memoir. His daughter has a booker and

(15:00):
it's pretty pretty graphic about growing up and how difficult
that was. It was before Tom was a star, first marriage,
not a lot of money, really struggling to make it
in the business, and it was hard to be around
Tom the family. I feel terrible here for the daughter.
But a question was will you read it? Will you
read this book? I don't think anybody wants to read
anything mean about Tom, but will you read it? Oh?

(15:23):
Only forty percent said yes, You're not into this book.

Speaker 1 (15:26):
Now.

Speaker 2 (15:26):
I have mixed feelings about it. Naughty it's her the
way to tell, though it is her story to tell,
so I can't take that away from her. However, let's
be honest, if her dad wasn't Tom Hanks, we probably
wouldn't be talking about this.

Speaker 1 (15:38):
And you know, it stings for Tom.

Speaker 3 (15:39):
He looks like he's just patching things up with his
other sunschet.

Speaker 1 (15:43):
Yeah, and then it's like, all right, great, we're back.

Speaker 2 (15:48):
That thing where the things pop up and you have
to whack them all. It's just, oh my goodness. Hey,
go vote on today's poul. Go to a page Naughty
Nice Rob or our Facebook page, which is Naughty Gossip
AMBI sure to check back tomorrow to hear your results.
And that my favorite part of the show. It's time
for a noisiest of the guy.

Speaker 3 (16:11):
Well, all right, so I know you're so much into sports, Rob,
and hopefully you can help me walk walk me through
this one. So Rob Grinkowski, he was a teammate of
Tom Brady's back.

Speaker 1 (16:21):
In the day.

Speaker 2 (16:22):
I'm who he is a big, strapping, big tall guy.

Speaker 3 (16:26):
They played in New England together and in Tampa together,
and he admitted what I think a lot of people
already know, but still, uh, he checked out Tom Brady
in the shower. So does every straight athlete, no matter
what gay, straight, No matter what, you're checking out Tom Brady.

Speaker 1 (16:40):
How can you not, especially that chin line. Let's be honest.

Speaker 3 (16:42):
I'm actually gonna go see Tom Brady on Friday at
them All in New Jersey. Yeah, there will be no shower,
all right. So Rob Gronkowski, he was on Dudes on
Dudes podcast, which is just funny enough to think about.
That's the name where we're talking about a story of
watching each other post game in the showers. But this

(17:04):
is coming actually from your sub stack, where you know
that Tom Brady a little bit rattled by that because
he didn't he didn't think his best friend, literally they
are best friends, would you know, speak like that? But
you know, but but just like just like best friends,
and you and I do this to you tease each other,
you do to this happened to be. Yeah, they happen
to be doing it on a very public personal level

(17:26):
or very private, private, private personal level.

Speaker 2 (17:28):
I don't think Tom is bothered that he had a
little look when they're in the showers. I think the
story here is that now he's talking about it if
he's admitted this. These stories slip out slowly, don't they.
So first you admit, oh, I did have a peak,
and now the next question is going to be and
what did you say? Like if I was interviewing him,
I'd say you said you had the follow question and

(17:49):
then the follow up pressure. And I don't think Tom
really wants to talk about that. Tom has a great
sense of humor. He really does. I think a lot
of people don't think he does. He wouldn't have done
that roast if he didn't enjoy commedy. But you're still
it's kind of a personal thing. It's not something I
would particularly want my friends talking about. And so I
do get it.

Speaker 1 (18:08):
So you don't want me talking about you?

Speaker 2 (18:10):
Okay, we're going to move on. We have not been
in the showers together naked yet, Garrett, and I don't
if we'll ever be, So I don't want to play sports.
We're not going to get in the gym together.

Speaker 3 (18:20):
No, yeah, no, that's like an episode of White Lord
is wearing down.

Speaker 2 (18:27):
Okay, let's I know what. It's the day naughty, naughty not
a Gail King set a gay slur on television and
she's getting a lot of backlash, but not from inside CBS.
So Gail had on an openly gay comedian Mateo Lane.
I think he's very funny. They're explaining Radio City. He's
really really great. He makes a joke about being a
gay guy. She repeated it back, but unfortunately they had

(18:51):
a gay slur in the joke. Now insiders are telling
me that that Gail is an ally, she is not
a homophone. Of people inside CBS who are gay absolutely
love her, are defending her. This seems a lot of
nonsense about nothing, at least to me, Garrett, What do.

Speaker 1 (19:09):
You think, right?

Speaker 3 (19:10):
No, I think so too. But it's again, you know,
for those that just read headlines in the world, it's
front page, right. But if you read the first paragraph,
you watch the watch the interview, and you know Gail,
then you kind of understand like it's not coming from
a place of hatred.

Speaker 2 (19:28):
It's not from patriot. Yes, that's what it is. It's
not what you say always, it's how you say it.
I noticed of the day. Okay, let's end with the
moment of Rob. Rob. Meaning isn't given, it's created. Finding
meaning in your life is your responsibility. It's easy to
think that purpose comes from your job title, or your company,
or your paycheck, but it actually doesn't. Real meaning comes

(19:53):
from you. So think about it today. Why are you
showing God? What is the real meaning of this? It's
not to get the paycheck. It's not to be popular,
it's not to leave the house. What's the real meaning
of this? And if you figure that out you will
be much happier my friends. Hey, that is it for today.
