Speaker 1 (00:09):
VI shooters.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
No, welcome to the naughty, but now showing your host
a rub shooter as a fall night watching the Golden Globe.
So if I'm a little rough today, don't weary, Garrett.
We've got him here as a not a safety net,
as somebody that can save the day.

Speaker 3 (00:24):
Really, Garrett, are you there?

Speaker 1 (00:27):
Happy New Year?

Speaker 4 (00:28):
And we got that out of the way, and I
hope you your holiday was great.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
Did you have a happy Christmas? I had a happy Christmas. Yeah,
I do.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
I mean I have a happy life, Garrett. I have
to pinch myself sometimes occasionally I can get a little
bit moody, a little bit grumpy, a little bit blue.
But overall I've got a really, really good life. And
so it was friends, family.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
Happy Christmas.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
Right.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
You don't see merry, happy Christmas, Merry Christmas, Merry christ.

Speaker 4 (00:53):
Oh you say merry merry Christmas. I heard people in
England say happy Christmas, so Christmas too.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
I like it.

Speaker 1 (00:59):
I'm going to start happy Christmas.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
Being happy is very important for Brits, like in America.
I think if you ask people what they wanted to be,
the number one choice would be beautiful or smart.

Speaker 3 (01:10):
That's very high up.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
Always on the list right in Britain, the number one
in every survey they always did. The number one quality
Brits want to be is funny. They like laughing, they
like being happy. And when I'm over there, I'm really
lucky that I grew up in a place that really
values happiness, because I certainly do, and so does the Naughties.
What do you think the Golden Globes talking of happy
and funny? I thought Nicki Glazer was funny.

Speaker 3 (01:32):
Do you know her? You know comedy?

Speaker 4 (01:34):
Yes, No, I'm very familiar with her. She was, She's
on pretty much every roast known to the human being.
Her and Jeff Ross, those are the two you'll constantly
see on every roast. The thing I think last night proved, though,
is Nikki Glazer Like we watched someone transform into a
huge spotlight. Not everyone's watching Comedy Central. Yes, she saw

(01:58):
her on the time Brady Rose doing very well and
and and uh you know which got her on Howard
and Open these Doors. But I think we're gonna see
she is. It's going to be a good start to
Nicky Glazer's year where she'll get special, she'll get a
TV deal, maybe she'd get a movie out of it. Yeah,
but I think I think she was spot on where
she wasn't overly mean. Uh. She she kind of she

(02:21):
kind of said all the elephants in the room without
having to, uh you know, knock too hard. Uh, you know,
kind of made fun of all the the the the
actors and actresses out there that thought they could sway
the election.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (02:35):
And that's you know, that was that was her really
like only political joke and the rest. We're all just
poking fun at the the rich celebrities that were there.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
You know.

Speaker 3 (02:43):
I love.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
Right, this is a big spotlight from the kiss. She's
been known in the comedy business for a long time,
but this is a much bigger audience. She did a
really interview interesting interview of The New York Times a
couple of days before, and she said, the problem is
some comedians have come out in the past and they've
been aiming their material like their fans, like they're in
a comedy club, and you can't do that. You've got
to aim it at not only the celebrities in the room,

(03:07):
but the millions of people watching a home that just
do not know you, they've never seen you before. She
also said, too which I thought was so smart. She's
not Tina Feye. She can't come out and punch too
hard because that's not her community. These are not her peers.
She is nowhere near on the label a fame of
these people Tina was. Tina was very much an insider.

(03:29):
And so I think Nikki did a really good job.
Normally it's a thankless job. Normally it's a job that
I know why people pass on it like it's a
really tough job. Just pitch perfect and after the monologue,
really there's nothing like categize off. It's almost done. So
do a great monologue, wear some beautiful gowns, some beautiful clothes,
and leave. So congratulations Nikkya. I really enjoyed it. I said,

(03:50):
what time is it, my friends? It is Tea Times,
So I told you first. Hugh Jackman has been spotted
sort of with Suttain Foster, so these rumors, this spec
has been going on a long time. They met in
the Music Manner on Broadway in twenty twenty three is
when that show ended. They were together for a while,
Hu broke up with his wife, but we've not actually

(04:12):
seen them in the same room together. They've not done
red carpets together. Well, certain faster is in la opening
Once upon a mattress at the Armandson Theater who was
in the audience, not not on the red carpet, but
in the audience, Hugh Jackman. So these two are tip
turning towards the truth, tip turning towards an announcement.

Speaker 3 (04:33):
Not quite there yet but not Hi did? What do
you think?

Speaker 1 (04:36):
Do you think? I feel weird?

Speaker 4 (04:39):
Like because I saw both of them in the music man,
and you know, now, knowing that they were both doing
what they were doing, I kind of feel dirty a
little bit, you know what I mean, Like like I
was like I was.

Speaker 1 (04:49):
A part of it. I was a part of it,
but I wasn't a part of the wins.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
You know.

Speaker 3 (04:53):
I didn't tell the wife. I just said something. I know.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
I should have called Deborah the wife, watch out, Deborah,
get to that theater. Something's going on. I think that
celebrities do this, and we do have this history of
forgiving them.

Speaker 3 (05:05):
Let's be honest.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
Ye, Ariana Grande and Ethan they got together in Wicked
when they were still both married. His wife is still
talking about it. Her husband seems to have gone away
Dalton a little bit more quietly, but this conattionately happens
in life. It's heartbreaking, isn't it. I'd hate to think

(05:27):
that my husband, my wife went to work and fell
in love with somebody else. But I think love is messy,
and I think it's naive to pretend it's not. And
if you do fall in love with somebody that maybe
you shouldn't or at a time that you shouldn't. I
don't like it. It's not my style.

Speaker 4 (05:42):
But it does happen, it does, But it just it
goes to show the type of person you are, you know.
I always go back to Matt Damon, you know, like
Mac Damon literally just looked at his surroundings of this
Hollywood thing's not for me. Moved his family to Miami
and now Brooklyn too, But there it's just the type

(06:05):
of person you know that you know. And everybody's different,
rightfully so, but you know, it's just it feels calculated,
you know. Do you hope they're happy? Of course you do.
It's just okay, enough is enough? Like what are you promoting?

Speaker 1 (06:21):
You know? You know what I mean?

Speaker 4 (06:21):
It almost feels like we're just holding out to make
something official until maybe I take the stage here or
I take the you know we we we go to
a red carpet of.

Speaker 1 (06:30):
Something or the oscar, you know, the oscars.

Speaker 4 (06:33):
I think that's where we'll see the big announcement, the
official announcement.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
Maybe a source of min because I know Broadway people
pretty well, right, and so a Broadway source of mindset.
They expect to see them on a Broadway red carpet soon.
A friend of theirs is choreographic a new show, and
they might turn up to the opening night of that
because they need at least certain these to keep that
Broadway audience as fans, because if she loses them, that's
her base. You Jackman has a much bigger fan base,

(06:59):
so he's gonna be okay. If he loses Broadway. He
won't like it, but he is opening and get Radio
Cilly soon, so does not have to be careful. You
know that fans can turn on you, like when your
private life gets too messier. I've had this happen with
people I've liked. When I find out that a celebrity
is just not that nice, I don't really want to

(07:20):
be a fan anymore. I used to love watch What
Happens Live, and then so many people told me and
is not that nice a guy, and it has clouded
my judgment. It has made me see that show a
little different. And so I wonder what fans are gonna
feel about this. Arianna is a good example. Maybe even
Brad and Angelina, although we never really forgave him for that,

(07:40):
and Jennifer and so it is messy. It's it feels
like it's gonna all come out soon. We know, we
know they're together, we know they've both got divorced, and
so this tiptoeing around. I'm not sure that's the best strategy,
but it brings us to our pole.

Speaker 3 (07:54):
Question of the day.

Speaker 2 (07:56):
We spotted Sutton Foster and Hugh Jackman, at least them
as so in La. She was on stage, he was
in the audience, cheering her on. Should these two just
confirm they're a couple.

Speaker 3 (08:08):
I think it feels like they're playing games with us.
I don't like it. Should they just.

Speaker 2 (08:11):
Confirm they are a couple? Hey, go votes on our
Twitter page. I had naughty nice rob at Facebook pages
noughty gossip and be sure to check back to my
raw to hear your results.

Speaker 3 (08:22):
Take at what are you working on?

Speaker 2 (08:23):
Well?

Speaker 4 (08:23):
Talk about scandal and I think we're living like what
you were just talking about of you know, trying to
figure stuff out and you know, not liking a celebrity.
I think we're in the middle of this one right now,
between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni. Of course, so last
night we were talking about the Golden Globes. Ryan Reynolds
had a huge here with with of course, Hugh Jackman
of Deadpool Wolverine. They skipped Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds

(08:48):
skipped the Golden Globes last night, even though I think
they would have been fine because obviously they would have
just bypassed the red carpet, wouldn't have to answer questions,
and Nicki glazer Is was was team Blake from the
get go, and she even said she was going to
avoid it.

Speaker 1 (09:04):
So I think they would.

Speaker 4 (09:05):
Have been good and been surrounded by a bunch of
their peers if they decided. But their people, of course
said this decision not to attend the Golden Globes was
made way before any of this legal battle was going through.
So again read between the lines. The timing doesn't seem right.
I think they just avoided all the conflict that could

(09:25):
have been caused.

Speaker 2 (09:26):
Yeah, they don't want all the photographs out there either.
Although they're going to look fabulous, I mean beautiful pictures
on the cover of the New York Post and everywhere
else on this weekly, It's probably not a bad thing.
I remember when I was working with Jennifer Lopez and
she just broke up with Ben Affleck like weeks before
the Golden Globes, and Jennifer was set to present, and
I made all the arrangements to bring her in through
the side door, and the day of the show, Jennifer
called me and said, no, I'm walking the carpet. She said,

(09:47):
I don't want to do interviews. I'm not talking to
the press, but I'm gonna post for photographs if my
head held high, because I've done nothing wrong. And I
was like, what a brilliant PR strategy, What a brilliant move.
And it's a move that I think we can all
make it our own lives. When I was much younger, Garrett,
if something went wrong or if I felt uncomfortable, I
ran away and hit I hired in the dishwasher, not literally,

(10:10):
but you know what I mean. I would hide. I
would just run away.

Speaker 1 (10:14):
I would never get out.

Speaker 2 (10:15):
Now I forced myself. I forced myself to turn up
in sometimes uncomfortable situations if.

Speaker 3 (10:20):
My head held are high, particularly.

Speaker 2 (10:22):
When I know I've done nothing wrong. I think this
is a missed opportunity. It's their choice, obviously their choice,
but I think a missed opportunity too. Okay, moving along,
Aubrey Plaza's husband, Jeff, has died of suicide at forty seven.
So the shocking news happened, and everybody is outpouring of
grief to Aubrey, to her family, to Jeff. Just heartbreaking.

(10:49):
He was pretty well known in the business too. He
had hits like The Little Hours and Life After Bethy's
were indie hits. He was found dead in his Los
Angeles home Friday morning. His assistant discovered him and he
was pronounced dead at the sea and at ten thirty am.
Sources are telling TMZ it was death by suicide. The

(11:12):
Commera's office have not yet collaborated this, but they don't
normally get this stuff wrong.

Speaker 3 (11:19):
Just heartbreaking.

Speaker 4 (11:20):
And Armory was supposed to be at the Golden Globes
last night, and obviously, for you know reasons, I think
we all could understand, she didn't attend. But more importantly,
you know, as much as these stories tend to come
to the top at the beginning of every year.

Speaker 1 (11:36):
You know, just.

Speaker 4 (11:38):
Though you cannot change or you know, tell people how
to think and feel, but just checking on a friend
and say hello and say hey, I've been thinking about you,
even if you know they're totally fine, it goes. It
goes a longer way than you probably even could imagine.

Speaker 2 (11:55):
Yeah, absolutely well, said Garrett talking of Golden Glow Tubes.
Angelina Jolie was there last night, looking gorgeous with her
beautiful daughter. However, she has a doo interview acting w
magazine where she reveals some very interesting details.

Speaker 3 (12:10):
What does she have to say?

Speaker 4 (12:11):
So she became an actress actually rob to fulfill her
late mom's dream, which is interesting. She said, I did
it at the beginning because it was it was my
mother's dream and as she was thinking about her mom
and the pursuit of acting. Her mom, who passed away
in two thousand and seven, wanted to be an actress,
put her career on hold after.

Speaker 1 (12:32):
Divorcing John Voight.

Speaker 4 (12:34):
As we know that Angelina's dad at twenty five and
becoming a single mother to Angelina and their brother, her
brother James, she didn't she didn't make it, and she
it was a sacrifice, but she loved being a stay
at home mom, which again is I think a job
that is priceless and you know, you really can't put

(12:57):
a number on that alone. She Angelina's mom decided that
was the best thing for her family and her at
the time. You know, I don't remember making the choice,
egg Angelina says, but I just remember.

Speaker 1 (13:10):
It was me.

Speaker 4 (13:11):
It made my mom happy, and my mom was my
manager and we were a team. So kind of mom
got to, you know, live out that that dream of
hers to a degree through her daughter's eyes, which.

Speaker 2 (13:22):
Is probably not healthy. Like if you've got kids out there,
you have kids, Garret, they can't live your dreams. You've
got to live your own dreams. Like I have conscious decisions.
I know the moment when I decided to do this
in my career, or do that in bright career, or
even do this or that in my private life, to
move to America to date an America, Like I made choices,

(13:42):
and I'm really proud that I did that. I do
not let I try not to let just things happen
to me, and I certainly try not to live somebody
else's dreams, follow your own dreams. Okay, quickly, before we
get a break, Megan markets Bank on Instagram. We've been
talking about this, but no trolls are allowed this time.
So Megan back on Instagram. Already millions of people are

(14:04):
talking about it, are listening to Meghan. However, there's one
big difference this time, no comments allowed. So a few
weears away from social media. Meghan is not taking any chances,
and she's turned off the comments on her on her
new account sources TEP page six. She's trying to create
a space that is joyful and uplifting, so no comments

(14:26):
for the moment. Probably a good idea. People have some
mean things to say about her, so just for the start,
I guess Meghan, like, I think this is probably a
good idea.

Speaker 3 (14:34):
What do you think?

Speaker 4 (14:35):
No, I think it's the best way to go because
no one could say anything. You could say whatever you
want in the little caption, and you know, if you
want to follow, by all means, if you want to
hate follow, you can, but you can't say anything we.

Speaker 3 (14:50):
Should have defeats the purpose. Very clever, Megan.

Speaker 2 (14:52):
Okay, let's take a quick break and we will be
right back. Welcome back, to the naughty but Nice shirt
and Rob Shooter with our different Garrett vocal.

Speaker 3 (15:03):
Hey, Garrett, let's get to the polls.

Speaker 2 (15:05):
Last share, we talked about Meghan Mockels carefree Instagram video
might have been shot multiple times, so it looks like
this was not just done as carefree as Meghan had hoped.
We saw in the sand she wrote twenty twenty five
in the sand. It was adorable with her finger. But
if you look carefully, Garrett, somebody had already marked it
in the sand, so they did a little outline, and

(15:27):
so they wanted to frame it right. This is still
He's an actress, you know, and it's Instagram. Who doesn't
retake a photo on Instagram or redo it?

Speaker 4 (15:36):
If you take one photo or a video on social media,
there's something wrong with you because no one has You
are not. You are not if you do that. If
you do that, you should have won a Golden Globe
last night. Okay, let's be honest.

Speaker 3 (15:49):
You're a good point.

Speaker 2 (15:49):
So my question was is there anything wrong with doing
several takes? Ninety percent said no, nothing wrong.

Speaker 1 (15:57):
Apparently you're rereadly.

Speaker 2 (15:58):
Allowed to do it once Megan, it was awful. Okay,
don't forget to vote on today's Paul. We'll go to
a Twitter page at Naughty Nice rom Facebook pages Naughty
Gossip and be sure to check that time outrow to
hear your results. From now it's time for a nicest
yes oh the day.

Speaker 4 (16:15):
Well could this be the year of Travis and Taylor
doing big things in twenty twenty five?

Speaker 1 (16:22):
I mean, how could they top themselves from last year?

Speaker 3 (16:24):
Right?

Speaker 4 (16:25):
But so we kind of get a little inside look
of how they spent their new years.

Speaker 1 (16:29):
They weren't in New York.

Speaker 4 (16:31):
City, even though we saw them around Christmas time around
New York City. They actually spent it in Kansas City
due to Travis's work schedule on having practice for his
football coming that happened on the thirtieth and January first,
so pretty much got the thirty first off and then
had to be at work again on the first. So
they hung out in Kansas City, maybe shared a little

(16:53):
kiss or two when.

Speaker 1 (16:54):
The ball dropped.

Speaker 4 (16:55):
And it's so interesting, who's the person that goes all right,
it's official?

Speaker 1 (17:00):
I can tell. I can tell all the people out
there they shared.

Speaker 4 (17:02):
A kiss, you know, like it was you got You
gotta think, like, whose job is it to all right,
I'm gonna let everybody know me. They share a kiss,
everybody kiss, You kiss someone on New Year's. I kiss
someone on New Year's. My dog kissed someone on New
Years everybody. Let's just assume everybody kissed everybody on New Year's.

Speaker 2 (17:19):
Kiss kis, kiss, kiss, kiss, and nicest the other day.
And now I noticed that naughty, naughty, naughty. I didn't
know this person. Laura Lee, who was on vander Pump Rules,
is coming forward saying that statue Stassi Schroeder I've heard
of Stassy. Stass is a very controversial person. She was
on this show for a long time, and brother actually
fired her, which brother never does.

Speaker 3 (17:39):
Like to get.

Speaker 2 (17:39):
Fired from really bad would be really really bad.

Speaker 3 (17:45):
They just don't fire anybody ever in your life.

Speaker 4 (17:49):
Fire And that's that's the equivalent of how you get
get kicked off of Bravo.

Speaker 3 (17:54):
Like fired, fired.

Speaker 2 (17:56):
Following backlash of a really serious racist misconduct allegations from
a different castmate, Faithstours, Well, now this lady Laura is
coming forward saying that when she was on the show,
Stassy was an absolute nightmare and deliberately went out of
her way to make her life awful. Spilt drinks on

(18:17):
her spread rumors about her, wrote hate Field notes, this
Stassy is a bad, bad, bad apple. I don't like this,
and I think now I think she has rolled back
to brather like a bad Penny or at least Peacock
with a new show.

Speaker 3 (18:34):
You know, I don't like this.

Speaker 2 (18:35):
Let's not reward terrible people who do terrible, terrible things.
That's only year's resolution, no more. Let's end with a.

Speaker 3 (18:44):
Moment of.

Speaker 2 (18:47):
One of the things I've realized is that if you
do not take control of your time and your life,
other people will gobble it up.

Speaker 3 (18:55):
So if I don't.

Speaker 2 (18:57):
Take control, if I don't prioritize myself, then I'm constantly
constantly falling lower and lower on my priority list. Make
yourself a priority this year. It's your job to prioritize yourself,
because if you don't do it, nobody else will. Hey,
that is it for today. Thank you so much for listening.

(19:20):
So they're not even nice with Rob and Garrett Shore,
a production of iHeart Radio. Don't forget to subscribe on
the iHeartRadio app Apple podcast. Wherever you listen, leave us
a review if you can. They really really do help
and remember, let me hear you sing along?

Speaker 3 (19:38):
Garret, you got a single? Did you get a haircut?

Speaker 2 (19:40):
Garrett?

Speaker 3 (19:40):
You look very cute today.

Speaker 1 (19:41):
Haircut.

Speaker 2 (19:42):
I noticed that there on the zoom. Look at you,
your new Year's haircut, clean shaven, fresher, so cute.

Speaker 3 (19:50):
Okay, what we're gonna do. We're going to attack. Remember,
if you're going to take care of everybody, it's not
even nice with brob
