Speaker 1 (00:10):
Shooters.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
Welcome to the Naughty but niceha. I'm your host, Droom
Shooter and it is Monday. Joining us today every Monday
is our dear friend Garrett Virgel. Hey, Garrett, are you there? Bob?

Speaker 1 (00:24):
I am back fully recovered. Thank you for letting me
have the day off last week. I know you really
wanted me on the show, but physically my legs could
not move after running the New York City marathon.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
You ran the marathon.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
I did the marathon. I'm gonna say run because there's
the photos of me walking. There are photos of me
walking out there.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
That's acceptable. So you did the marathon last Sunday. You
took Monday off to have a day. What did you
feel like Monday?

Speaker 1 (00:51):
It was a smile on my face, like a big,
a big poop eating grin on my face that just said,
you know, you could do scary things Sometimes that might
seem scary up unto the point that you're doing it,
but after it's done, it was like, I'm glad I
did it.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
Yeah, yeah, that's what it was.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
And and you know I got to run with some
you know, celebs of sorts, Amy Rullbach and TJ. They
ran together. It was funny as a couple. You know,
if you and I ran, I would just I would
be like, Okay, Rob, I gotta go. I'm not going
to stay the next five out. They ran together. You know,
that's a couple. You know that's that's a sign of
a couple right there, when you run together and.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
Yeah, that's a couple.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
You go ahead, let's see Randall Park. He was in
a bunch of a bunch of you know TV shows
recently he ran and a bunch of Bachelor and Bachelorette people.
I saw the balls, yes, so many, Like I felt
like I was on the Bachelor Bachelorette with the amount
of people I was sitting in that corral with, I'm like,
am I, where's the cameras?

Speaker 2 (01:55):
Where are the incredibly fit people to That's a good
show to sign up? And I think I saw Vinny
from the Vinie.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
From the Jersey Shore. He started running and he did
it in like some incredible time. He did it like
four and a half hours or less, and it was
just it was it was such a cool feeling to
be there running over a bridge that you normally take
a car on, you know, several times and just I
felt like the Queen of England. Rob Shooter coming coming

(02:22):
coming off of a bridge and into New York City
into First Avenue, roar like if I didn't, I felt
like the Queen of England right there. I wanted to wave,
you know the do the wave and.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
I hear you were Queen for the day. My friend, congratulations,
said something to our show. What time is it, my friend?
It is t time. Big story. At the top of
the show, we saw Kate Middleton over the weekend, not
once but twice, so it was a remembrance Sunday over
in the UK, and Kate turned up looking really elegant
and I love this. This is how specific, how detailed
Kate is. There was a little tribute to Princess Diana

(02:59):
and Queen Elizabeth in her outfit. So Kate wore Queen
Elizabeth's favorite pearl drop ear rings. They're so beautiful, They're
so elegant. These were a favorite of the late Queen,
and she also chose to wear one of Princess Diana's
favorite designers. She looked so elegant. It was a subtle

(03:19):
nod to two influential women who came before her. And
then she had the traditional poppy brooch in honor of
the Armed Services. We saw her the night before two.
She was out with William at a festival for remembrance,
looking once again just great. It's lovely to see her back,
and pictures really are important. They do tell us a

(03:40):
lot about what is going on here. So I thought
that A. She looked great and b it's really nice.
It's just really nice to see Kate back.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
Like this might be a silly question, but all of
Diana's stuff, I mean, is it kept in like a
vault or like for her to use that? Like, it's
not like William has it, you know, in a drawer
at home, right, rightly.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
It is. It is an avault. It's not in the
Tower of London though, So the official crown jewels they're
in the Tower of London. So the crown, the scepter,
all the official jewels don't belong to the royal family.
They belong to Great Britain and they get passed on
from king to queen to queen to king. You can't
sell the crown, so it doesn't belong to you, so

(04:19):
you only can borrow the crown. So when you're queen
for the day, you can wear the crown garret, but
tomorrow you have to give it to the next king
or queen. However, the Royal family are very very wealthy
and they have private jewelry. So for instance, when Prince
Charles got engaged to Princess Diana, he bought the engagement
ring that was not taken from the tower. That's right,

(04:43):
you probably got a discount. They're actually not allowed to
get discounts celebrities. Hollywood celebrities can, and it was a
bit of a conflict with Meghan. Meghan was used to
being a Hollywood person and she got discounts or freebies.
The Royals have to pay for it. Don't worry, They've
got the money now. When Diana died, she left some
of her jewelry to William, some of it to Harry. Interestingly,

(05:04):
she left the engagement ring, that Sapphire engagement ring that
we see Kate wearing. She left that to William, but
he gave it to Harry. He said to Harry, do
you want this ring? And Harry said yes, and then
when he met Kate, Harry gave it back, saying Mom
would have wanted the new Princess of Wales.

Speaker 1 (05:27):
I want that brotherhood friendship back like I would love
that's right there, like that that.

Speaker 2 (05:33):
Is, that's a real friendship. He gave you the sapphire
Megan would love that ring, but Harry gave it back.
So it's a really really good question. I love that
she's wearing it now. For a very long time, and
I can understand this, Kate was really trying to distance
herself from Princess Diana. She didn't even want to have
the title Princess of Wales because it was too much pressure.

(05:54):
It's too much to live up to. I can get
that being called the next Princess of Wales, being the
next Princess Diana is something that Kate for a really
long time, really avoided. Well, now I think she's embracing
it much more. Now, she's more confident. Now she knows
who she is.

Speaker 1 (06:11):
Well to warm up, you know, it took a while.

Speaker 2 (06:13):
It took a while to step into those big shoes
we should speak to about her cancer diagnosis. My insiders
tell me she's doing much better, and the reason we
know that is that we're getting to see her. Nobody's
pushing her here. So we've all had those jobs where
we're not well and we get pushed to come back.
Where are you coming back? When are you coming back?
That is not happening here. They're giving Kate as much time,
as much grace as they possibly can. This was Kate's decision.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
Yeah no, And you know what as it should be too.
Like as much as she is the people's person, you
know what I mean, like it, she's still a person
at the end of the person where she still has
she's She's not like Pinocchio, you know, like it might
seem like it at times, but at the end of
the day, she she still has control of her life
to a degree.

Speaker 2 (06:57):
She has to a degree, which brings us to that
whole question. It's an interesting question. So we saw Kate
return for remembrance Sunday and a festival on Saturday. Our
question is should she return to work full time? Like no,
I know we're all gonna want to say no, no,
it's up to Kate. But let's be honest about this too.
It is a job. It's a job that Kate does really,
really well. And I'm not pressure and pressure and gre

(07:18):
here you know my views on this. But if this
was somebody at your company, if we saw you out
and about looking fabulous, wearing diamonds looking just can you
call in sick the next day. It's a very very
complicated thing here because we want to be generous. But
in your own life, what do you think like if
I was out with you last night, Garrett wearing diamond

(07:40):
earrings and looking marvelous, and then today I was like,
I don't think I could work today. My boss would
be really angry. So what do you think here? I
can't wait to see your results. Should Kate return to
work full time? Go vote on ourt winner page. Add
Naughty and Ice rob Our facebook page is Naughty Gossip
and be sure to check back tomorrow to hear your results. Hey,

(08:01):
got it? What are you working on?

Speaker 1 (08:03):
Well, it's interesting you're just talking about everybody going, hey Kate,
when are you coming back? When are you coming back?
You know who's been dealing with this same exact question
for about I would say ten years Rihanna. So everybody
wants Rihanna to come back to the music scene, give
us some new music to dance, to have fun with.
But she kind of kind of got everybody worrying a

(08:23):
little bit. While she was doing djaying a set for
her Beauty Line in Barbados. Her fenty beauty line, and
she was hinting that, you know, as much as music
got her to where she was, God has a different plan.
And I think she was kind of also alluding to
getting away from music, maybe concentrating more in business, growing
her family, which he loves so much. So it kind

(08:44):
of got people going, here's what she said. Music was
a thing that got the attention, but God has other
plans for me, of course. And you know, she's always
teased new music over the last couple of years, and
I think she's she has it, but she just wasn't
happy with what she had, you know, especially after she
did the super Bowl. Normally, you do the Super Bowl,
you drop some new new music, you do a tour,

(09:05):
maybe announce a a Vegas residency. It didn't happen, but
I think we're pretty much I think I don't think
we're going to get an official announcement, but I think
we all need to start coming to terms with the
fact that Rihanna is not coming back to music with us,
you know, just like in Sync. If you remember back
in the day, in Sync said they're going on a hiatus.

Speaker 2 (09:27):
That's right.

Speaker 1 (09:28):
Justin went off and did his own thing and that
was it. They're still on the hiatus, but we never
got an official retirement.

Speaker 2 (09:35):
I think you're really smart. Nobody knows the music business
better than you, Garrett. I don't think we're going to
get an official announcement. It's like when they brother, when
brother cancel a housewife serious, they never cancel it. They
always just put it on. Hey, it never returns. And
that's what's going to happen with Rihanna. Here, no big announcement,
but we're just not going to see this now. In
her defense, she does have a billion dollars. She doesn't need.

(09:57):
She likes more money.

Speaker 1 (09:59):
Even saying the words I don't have a billion dollars,
then I still joked.

Speaker 2 (10:02):
On the word he doesn't need. She doesn't need this job.
In fact, the music business is sort of like a
little side hustle for her. That's not really yeah, that's right,
pocket by day. That's why she does a little bit
of a pocket buddy side job.

Speaker 1 (10:14):
So go to Saudi Arabia and do do a birthday
party for fifty million dollars and be good for and
be good for about five years, like exactly exactly.

Speaker 2 (10:23):
And let's remember too, the music business has really changed
as Jennifer Lopez asked Lady Gaggar, their last two albums
did not do very well. They did fine, but it's gone.
Rihanna's never going to sell ten million copies of anything
ever again. It is gone. And that's not I'm not
saying Rihanna's gone. I'm saying the music business has gone.
So now, if Justin Bieber put out an album, these

(10:45):
sales would be disappointing compared to his old sales, not
because of him, but because the music business has changed.
And we love to do that, don't we. When Justin
Timberlake put out his album and it didn't do as
well as his last albums.

Speaker 1 (10:57):
What disaster wants that?

Speaker 2 (10:59):
So he she doesn't need the money. This money means
nothing to her. B She doesn't need bad publicity and
she will get it because whatever she does, I'm a
huge fan. Even if this is the best album of
her life, it's not gonna sell like her album sold before.

Speaker 1 (11:14):
And you know what, it's interesting, there's maybe a handful
of artists that are left that could put out an album,
i e. Tailor Swift maybe if anything, and you know,
I was thinking about this the other day, Maybe you
get one or two more like albums out of Taylor Swift,
you know, and and then talking about someone who has
a hell of a lot of money and then you know,
go off and do her own thing, you know. And

(11:35):
Rihanna is the same way too. She made a billion
dollars billion dollars. Who still wants to work unless you're
you know, Elon Musk or Jeff Bezos, you know, like, well, she's.

Speaker 2 (11:45):
Not addicted to the limelight. Like there's a lot of
celebrities that don't retire because they just can't ever leave
the limelight. They love doing this. We see them, we
know who they are. Share, I'm looking at you, but
I say it with respect. I love shit. She loves this.
This is SHARE's life. She's Madonna. That these people that
just don't know how to not be that person, and
so I get it. That's why they work. Think about

(12:06):
it in your life. Who are the people that are
addicted to their jobs? Often it's because they don't have
much else. I have a full life. This job gets
in the way of my life, if the truth be told.
And that's harry Arna feels too. She has her family,
she has all that money, and so I can totally
totally see this happening, and I honestly I think it
might be a good idea because I hate seeing stars

(12:29):
that we once love dribble away and then they're doing
Christmas albums and then they're doing the greatest songs from
the movies. Then yeah, I'm just like, oh, really, okay,
quickly before we get a break. Jennifer Lopez is revealing
the truth about a challenging how challenging relationships and motherhood

(12:50):
can be a mid her divorce from Ben Affleck. So
she's got a new movie is meant to be fantastic,
and she was asked how she found playing the character,
and she's said, deeply relatable because she has to juggle
and struggles doing this with the trials of being a
mother and a wife. Now she's getting divorced. She said
the following quote, I think a lot of women have

(13:11):
gone through that. She's right. She adds to that her
priority is her kids, focusing on the kids, protecting her kids,
but also too, she said, you don't have to be
Jennifer Lopez to know this struggle. Your wife has many
many different jump scat mother wife, She's got a job.

Speaker 1 (13:32):
It's a lot, and it's one of those, especially on
the mother's side, and are just a parent in general too.
There's no paycheck. The paycheck is the rewarding, you know,
long term goal of watching your children grow up to
be good, decent human beings. But outside of that, it's
a full time, no overtime pay type job that you can't.

(13:55):
If you give up, then you're a dirtbag. But like
you can't, like you can't, and if you do, then
you're in the wrong business of being a parent at the.

Speaker 2 (14:04):
End, right right, I'm not a parent. I'm never going
to be one, thankfully. And so my friend Piano had
a baby, and I just couldn't get my head around
the fact that that baby was there every day, including weekends,
like she never left. She just like it's like a
stranger moved into.

Speaker 1 (14:19):
Your apartment, paying rent, you know, and taking.

Speaker 2 (14:23):
Food out of the fridge.

Speaker 1 (14:24):
You have to feed them and change them.

Speaker 2 (14:27):
I know. I look at Derby. I've got a doggie
and I'm always telling him he needs the police weight.
He hasn't paid a dollar since he moved into this house.

Speaker 1 (14:33):
You know, he's got to start. He's Derby's start. Has
to pull it in on those dog shows. You know
you've got to do it.

Speaker 2 (14:40):
Warf Derby. You better be listening and you better start
pulling your weight. Okay, we're going to take a quick
page and you'll be all right back. Welcome back to
be naughted. That nice shirt. I'm sure I have a
little bit of a husky voice today. I think it's
all the smoke.

Speaker 1 (14:55):
I think it sounds good. You know, do you like it?
Given there there are a wild fire in our area
right now, that's.

Speaker 2 (15:01):
What it is.

Speaker 1 (15:02):
But doesn't it smell like like a campfire?

Speaker 2 (15:04):
Like like think it smells like an ashtray.

Speaker 1 (15:08):
That's a whole other issue. That's that's the wrong kind
of smoke.

Speaker 2 (15:11):
You can really smell it in the city where I live.
Oh and when I get my walks on the Hudson
you because the wind picks up over the water.

Speaker 1 (15:19):
Like Jersey and upstate New York. But yeah, I mean,
we just got some rain yesterday here in our area.
But for the most part, we almost went like a
month and a half with no rains, so it's been
very dry here causing those those Uh So.

Speaker 2 (15:33):
We hope everybody's safe too. We realize it's not just
about us here. Okay, let's get to the poles the dull.
Last year we revealed that then Affleck is ready to
mingle post split. Of course he is, and Jlo is
embracing a single life. That question was quite simple, Are
you surprised? Why is it that the bed always move
on so so fast? Are you surprised? Let's have a look.

(15:56):
Ninety two percent said no. However, a few of you
are surprised that Jennifer is still single because Jennifer has
a history going from montrap and jumping in and very
quick here Jennifer talked about that. She said that she
knows in the past she's tried to move on way
too fast than She's gonna take a minute here to

(16:17):
enjoy being single. Good for you and don't forget to
vote on today's poll. Twitter page at Naughty Nice Rob.
Her facebook page is Norudy Gossip and be sure to
check back tomorrow to hear your results. And now it's
my favorite part of the show. It's time for a
nicest of the.

Speaker 1 (16:36):
Di nic So Taylor Swift is that friend no matter
where you are, whether you're single, you're together, she will
always be a friend to both sides of the relationship.
So Zoe Kravitz says, we know, just broke up with
Channing Tatum, right, very said, and just happened a few
weeks ago. So what does Taylor do? Takes one of
her friends out for a big girl's night out. So

(16:58):
Taylor take out Zoe Kravitz had some dinner, an eight
hour long dinner. What the heck is going on for
eight hours at this dinner like that? That's that's almost
two meals. That's that's that's it's.

Speaker 2 (17:10):
Two Taylor Swift concerts. So three you would literally do
your whole ant, Taylor, and do it three times, right.

Speaker 1 (17:16):
And they were also joined by comedian Jared Gerard Carmichael.
You know, a little humor in there. Two very funny guy.
But uh, you know, earlier in the day, you know, Taylor. Uh,
Taylor won Album of the Year nominations for for for
the Grammys. Obvious obviously, but it just this is the

(17:37):
thing I love about Taylor, and I think this is
why she's so relatable. No matter how big she can get,
she finds ways to stay humble and human. She does
and and and reaching out to a friend who especially
is going through a tough time right now and saying, hey,
you know what. Let's put that all aside. Let's go
have an eight hour dinner in New York City.

Speaker 2 (17:54):
And I'll pick up the top.

Speaker 1 (17:55):
You gotta like she picked up the tab she picks that.

Speaker 2 (17:57):
It's lovely. She did it with Sophie Turner when she
broke with Sir Jonas. She really wraps her arms around
her friends when they're in a moment of need. And
you've got to believe Taylor Swift is a pretty busy person,
but she always makes time. I think it's a lesson
we should all try and follow when a friend is
in need, when something happens, drop everything. If Taylor Swift

(18:17):
can clear a night to take a friend out, then
you can find an hour to go for a cup
of coffee. I am ashamed to say, Garrett, I've not
always been the best in this. I've always been busy,
and my life's busy, but my priorities were not right.
If I wanted to find an hour to go and
have coffee with Madonna, I guarantee you I would. If

(18:38):
Madonna called, I guarantee you I would. But if a
friend called and they're broken up with somebody. Most of
the time I'm there, but not always not want to
change that.

Speaker 1 (18:48):
But you know what, even if you're not there physically,
I think you're still there, whether it be on the
phone or just text. You know, and you do that.
So don't don't knock yourself too hard, because thank you.

Speaker 2 (19:00):
Yes, show up, everybody show up. Nicest of the day. Now,
I notice the day Noddy naughty, naughty, Ryan seacrests crush
and Carrie Underwood has American Idol sets. Yes, right, so
the newest judge, Carrie Underwood has started, has joined the show,
and it's left the judges Luke and Lionel Richie feeling

(19:21):
a little out of it, rolling their eyes. Now you're
gonna hear reports that it's a crush. My inside has
tell me this is just Ryan being nice. He's a
really nice guy. Carrie's new to the show. He wants
to include her. He's going out of his way to
show her where the bathrooms are, these are the dressing rooms.
He's just been a really nice guy. She's married, he
has a girlfriend, So might he have a little crush

(19:41):
on her? Yes? Who doesn't? I bet there's somebody in
your office right now who you have a little bit
of a crush on. It's perfectly natural. But I think
this is really just being a nice guy in a
moment when somebody is new. So Ryan, yeah, like.

Speaker 1 (19:55):
You trying to be a nice and then automatically it's
like he has a crush. He's assessed, like you can't
be nice without you know what it is. Those people
that are reporting it haven't had someone be nice to them.

Speaker 2 (20:05):
You know. That's although I've got to admit I'm always
I hate to admit it, but I tend to be
nice to the ones that are find cute. I know,
if you turn up and it's your first day and
you're not quite as duoed as that other one, I
might be a little bit. I know it's a terrible thing.

Speaker 1 (20:23):
Nice your name?

Speaker 2 (20:24):
You notice that? How nice this is of the day. Let's
same with a moment of Rob you Rob, you Rubbi
your Rob. Wouldn't you replace negative thoughts with positive ones?
You start having positive results? So if you want positive
results in your life, start having positive thoughts. It's that easy.
Your thoughts and your actions, your thoughts and your life
are connected. So if you fill your life with negative thoughts,

(20:48):
no wonder you're gonna have a negative life. If you
fill your life with positive thoughts. I promise you will
have a positive life. Hey, that is it for today.
