Speaker 1 (00:12):
It's time from Welcome to the Nord even nice Show'm
your host from Shooter. It's Monday morning, which means our
dear friend Garrett Vogel joining says, hey, Garrett, are you there?

Speaker 2 (00:24):
Bobby? Hello, good morning? There we go.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
We are, Darling. We were flying blind for a moment.
I could hear you, but I couldn't see you. Now
I can see you in your lumberjack shirt, looking very
handsome on a Monday.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
Thank you very much, you know, wearing my my chief's
colors as they head to the super Bowl to play
the Philadelphia Eagles. Last night, did you watch.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
Something the Big first?

Speaker 2 (00:44):
Respect?

Speaker 1 (00:45):
Oh, I didn't watch it, but this morning I woke
up before the show. I always want to make sure
that our script is up to date. What we're going
to be talking about is the latest news, and it is,
so I put the show to bed the night before
I do the script, so we're up bright and early.
But any additions we can add before we tape. I
did notice a massive amount of Taylor Swift news, but
I didn't realize that it was so big because this

(01:08):
is going to take them to the super Bowl. I
just thought she was at another game.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
Oh no, no, no, she will be at the biggest
game of all in You know what's interesting too, So
the Kansas City Chiefs going to the super Bowl where
they could break a record. If they win the super Bowl,
that means they've won the last three years in a row.
No one's ever done that. That's great. Oh but last night,
just like you, before I went to bed, I did
some research of my own. So as you know, the

(01:32):
Eras Tour went on last year and the Super bowls
happening in New Orleans. So me being the curiosity that
I that I have, I decided to look up the
most expensive ticket for the Taylor Swift's Eras Tour in
New Orleans was eleven thousand dollars. What as of last night,

(01:53):
after the super Bowl was set between the Chiefs and
the Eagles, the most expensive ticket to go to the
super Bowl in two weeks is eight thousand dollars. Just
to show you the power of Taylor Swift.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
Right of Taylor Swift. That's a really good little bit
of trivia. You are smarty Pans Garret. Were you always
a curious devil? Some people say nosy, I say.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
Curious, More nosy than curious.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
I'm a nosy person. I always asked when I was
a little as, I'm so good at this because I've
always been nosey. Okay, let's jump into the show. What
Time is in My Friends? Is tea time? Big story
At the top of the show, Timothy shallow May hosted
Saturday Night Live over the weekend, and everybody was looking
for Kylie Jenner. Well, we actually did spot them together
leaving the SNL party. It was at the Pool, which

(02:39):
is a fancy restaurant in Midtown. I've been there. It's
very nice. Each week they change locations, so after after
the show ends, and it's in the week hours of
the morning, it's not like we'll meet for a party
at nine o'clock, ten o'clock, eleven o'clock is when the
party starts. So it's quite hard to find a restaurant
that wants to stay open two or three o'clock. Plus,

(03:01):
if it's a club on a Saturday night, they're already
going to be sold out, so they don't really want
the SNL cast there because they want a private party.
So they found this venue and we did see Timothy
enter the venue by himself, but then shortly afterwards, after
not that long they left together, so they spotted leaving together.
They are a couple. They avoid the photographs, say they're very,

(03:25):
very private. We did see them canoodling a little bit
at the Golden Globes. I thought that was really sweet
when they sat at the same table. But these two
really keep this relationship under wraps. I don't think they're
embarrassed of one another. I don't think it's that they're
pretending they're not together. They're clearly together. I think that
they've decided, maybe because her family is so public, that

(03:47):
they want this relationship to be less public.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
What do you think, Well, you know what, it was interesting.
I was thinking about it. I had two takes, so
I saw the pictures of them coming out of the
after party. And Kylie doesn't help the rumors by holding
the jacket the way she was holding it with her
two hands clutched together as she was holding it.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
She knows what she's doing. She knows she.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
Knows what she was doing there. But the other thing too,
It made me think of back in your day when
you were with Jessica and Nichola. She how what happened
with that relationship. Yes, they both thought that they were
you know, the King of pop, king or Queen of pop.
They were the most, they were more famous than the other.
So I can understand why Kylie and Timothy might decide

(04:27):
to go. You know what, let's just do our own thing.
We'll hang out in private and then you know, if
we're at an award show, so be it. But for
the most part, let's just do our own thing. But well,
you and I both know, just like you and I rob,
we don't. We don't flaunt our relationship, and.

Speaker 1 (04:41):
I always hold my jacket like that when I'm with you.
To start the rumors, it is interesting, isn't it. I
hit the phones and I spoke to a really, really
smart source of mine, a top Hollywood publicist. He's still
a publicist, Yes, she's She's a good publicist, and she
told me it was very interesting that it's clear they're
a couple. How at least for the next three or

(05:02):
four weeks leading up to the Oscars. They want this
to be about his work, not her. And in Hollywood,
I hate to admit it, but it's true. Maybe true
in New York we do look down our nose a
little bit at reality stars. If he was dating Julia Roberts,
so if he was dating a really respected Meryl Streep,

(05:23):
let's say, then they wouldn't have to be quite as
subtle in their relationship. But I'm told that she knows,
she knows the level the fame the Kardashians have, and
any picture of them together, we're going to be looking
at her. And this is not her moment. He wants
that oscar. He has a chance of winning that Oscar.

(05:43):
And so for the next couple of weeks at least
while the voting's going on, they're going to take their
foot off the gas of the publicity for their relationships
and focus it all on him. Plus, let's remember the
reason he did SNL was to win the oscar. He
sang two songs Bob Dylan songs Plugs the Bob Dylan
movie twice in the Cold Open.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
Commercial and a commercial there. I didn't even know Bob
Dylan had had a museum in his hometown.

Speaker 1 (06:10):
You know, I knew they had a museum, but I
didn't know they could have afford a commercial on NBC
that was about one hundred and fifty thousand dollars. That's
a lot of tickets to that little center. Although I
do want to go there, now, so this was all
about Bob Dylan, this is all about Timothy, This is
all about getting him an oscar. And you know who
could have stole all that thunder with one sexy dress? Yes,
Kylie Jenna. So I think here we have to give

(06:32):
a credit because Kim couldn't have helped herself. Kim would
have made it about himset herself where Kylie really really
did try hard. Which brings us though to our pole
question of the day, and it's a good question. Today
Kylie and Timothy were spotted sneaking out of the SNL party.
Our question is is he ashamed of her? Have you
ever been in a relationship, Garrett, where the person you're

(06:55):
with didn't really want your friend, his friends, her friends
to meet you. Have you ever been with somebody Garrett
high school you didn't want to introduce to your friends.

Speaker 2 (07:04):
Maybe in high school, I can't really remember, I don't think.

Speaker 1 (07:09):
So how about you, Oh, I'd show you off like
the doc who went to I.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
Know you would. I would be that. I would be
your show pony, of course. But but but growing up too?
Or were you like hidden or did you hide anybody?

Speaker 1 (07:23):
I'm robbed? I was the life and soul of the podcast.
I was a trophy. It was more difficult because that's
that's it's more difficult. So when I was growing up
being gay, it was not really that sort of celebrate.
And the time that I grew up in it was
long before gay used to hiding. Yeah, I was quite
used to hiding in the shadows. And it's not a

(07:45):
place I ever want to be again. Hey, go vote
on our Twitter page at not too Nice Rob. Our
facebook page is sure as to my road or here
your results. Hey Garrett, what are you working on?

Speaker 2 (07:56):
Let's talk about Lizzo. So here's another interesting story and
I would love your take on it as a publicist.
But we have we're starting to see a little bit
more of Lizzo out on social media. No music just yet,
but more social media. And she said she's slimmed down,
hitting her her weight loss goal. She hasn't seen this
number since twenty fourteen. She posted a picture she goes

(08:17):
I did it in her caption and rocking a dark
red two piece workout set, and you could see that
she definitely has lost weight. And she said, today when
I stepped on my scale, I reached my weight release goal.
I haven't seen this number since twenty fourteen, which congratulations
to her. She lowered her BMI, which is so hard

(08:38):
to do like a man woman whoever, it's hard to do,
by almost by ten point five points, and reduced her
body fat. To listen to this sixteen percent, I mean
congratulations to Lizo right there.

Speaker 1 (08:52):
Wow. Wow. I don't really know what any of those
numbers mean, like sixty, they sound good, I don't really know,
but I know that she's celebrating it. It's tricky here
because we really fell in love with Lizzo as a
certain type of person physically, and now that she's changed,
I want to be happy for her, but I don't
want to encourage people to just be skinny. I want

(09:14):
to know that love and body and people we exist
in all different sizes. I was a little bit disappointed
when Adele got super skinny. It was just a new
Adele for me to fall in love with. I did
very very.

Speaker 2 (09:26):
You've been skinny yourself.

Speaker 1 (09:28):
I did get skinny myself, and it took me a
minute to fall in love. I've got to admit, though,
I do feel better skinny, and it's because I feel healthier.
It's not necessarily about the tighter pants, or the abs
or the lack of a double tin. Although I do
appreciate all three of the above, I just feel better.
And I think that's what Lizzo is saying here too.

(09:51):
It's tricky for her, though, because Lizzo for a long
time said she felt great being a plus size person.
She really enj herself and embraced her curves. And so
the question is, well, Lizzo, why di you to change now?
Maybe a doctor said to her, you know your blood
pressure health wise, you will be better off if you

(10:12):
lose a little way. I try not to go overboard
when friends lose a lot of weight. I try not
to rush up to them and say you look great,
you look great, because you're sort of implying that you
didn't look great before. Garrett. Your weight can fluctuate. I've
seen skinny Garrett. I've seen Garrett that isn't so skinny.
Are you happier when you're thinner and you're bigger? What

(10:34):
about you?

Speaker 2 (10:34):
You know, it's funny you really don't see it until
you look at photos. You know what I mean? Like
not to say like if you throw on you know,
you throw on ten pounds here, you know, twelve pounds,
fifteen pounds, like you don't see it until you see
a photo, but and then you think about it. It's
like you lose the weight and you feel good. So
it's kind of it's kind of it's kind of like
a weird thing because you don't know when you are

(10:57):
versus when you're not, you know what I mean. That's sorry,
come yeah, so so it's weird. But but but for you,
I mean, I've watched your journey over the last what
two three years of just getting your butt outside and
literally walking all of Manhattan on any given day rain
or snow, ladies.

Speaker 1 (11:15):
I'm not the post office sleep snow, rain can't stop me.

Speaker 2 (11:18):
Here's a little thing, you think. Rob Shooter just sits
in his sits in his his closet, no pun intended,
and works all day, night and day. Gets on TV
in the UK and Japan. The man puts on his
jacket literally every day, no matter what the temperature, what
season it is, and he just walked. He forrest, gums it,

(11:41):
he walks until he goes I cannot walk anymore. And
you think I'll go home.

Speaker 1 (11:45):
Now, I've literally walked my ass off. Literally, I literally
have walked I feel good though, Okay, moving along. This
story is so interesting Angelina Jolie. We spotted her on
a grocery run. It's very rare that you spot Angie
going to get groceries because I don't think she goes
that often. Fresh direct Angie, you can get it delivered,
and she does have staff. However, Angie made a point

(12:06):
of going guys being photographed with her son. This was
just after her oscar snub. People are saying she's devastated
by this. Sources are telling page six, she's really really upset.
She wanted this oscar. She did a ton of pressure.
Normally doesn't do that much publicity. She did late night shows,
she did magazine covers, she did a ton of award shows,
and she didn't get nominated. It's interesting because you think

(12:27):
that somebody like Angelina Jolie, someone that famous, that beautiful,
that rich, they wouldn't care. They always care. People like
it's nice to be told that your work is good,
that you're being appreciated here, and so do you sometimes
forget that garret with celebrities you actually think, oh, maybe
they do get upset about stuff like this.

Speaker 2 (12:46):
I think they do, but I also it's like it's
so weird and it's like, oh, we spotted her out
on a grocery run. The woman needs food, especially when
she's with children, you know what I mean, Like like
it wasn't like as calculated as it feels like. I
also you view it as, oh, man, we got to
go to the store, like and and it just so
happens that she just got snubbed, you know what I mean.

(13:06):
It wasn't like she was planning planning this of like,
all right, win or lose. If I if I win,
I'm not going to the grocery storey, you know what
I mean, Like like not you know, Knox might have
needed some lucky charms for God's sake, you know what I.

Speaker 1 (13:19):
Mean, Like you might. You're right. Maybe then we're not
exactly connected, but we did it in any case. Okay,
quickly before we get a break, break a new picture.
Kim Kardashian and North and now I think by the
same heights.

Speaker 2 (13:30):
I did not realize this, you know, until you see
the photo. It's official. So Northwest is is catching up
to mom Kim very very quickly. So, uh, Northwest, who
is eleven is five to two, and she was spotted
with her mom, and they were just having some you know,
and and when when you're that age, you're kind of
like it's like a goal you want to you want to,

(13:51):
you know, reach your mom or dad's height as quickly
as possible, just to say, all right, now I'm in charge,
you know what I mean? Like right, So you could
see that they're they're very close, which also made me think,
I mean for North to be five to Kim, Kim
looks taller than she she she's tiny's I know she's
a tiny but you know what I mean, Like she.

Speaker 1 (14:11):
Ses she's bigger than life, she's larger than life. The
image of Kim Kardashian on TV is larger than life,
but when you actually meet her in person. The first
time I met her, I was shocked. She's tiny, tiny.
Jlo It has the same curves as Kim, but Jlo
is as a larger person. She's taller, taller is Kim's tiny,
but her waist too. You think Kim has curves until

(14:33):
you actually meet her, she does like she's really really
really tiny, but we love her all the same. Oh,
We've got to do this story quickly because I need
to get your opinion. Vanna White is puzzled why people
are calling her sunny co a first trap. We did
this story. Remember they posted a video and they were
trying to do a cooking segment, but all anybody was
talking about was her hot sun He's thirty years old.
They were in the kitchen and he was wearing a

(14:55):
very tight T shirt. Well, now she's saying she just
doesn't see it as a pair. I guess you don't,
ye see what would you unless you beautiful people? Yeah,
it can't be like wow, you look wow.

Speaker 2 (15:08):
Unless you're watching SNL this weekend and saw one of
the skits that they had about about giving an edible
arrangement to your mother and falling in love with her,
which was super creepy. But I get it, like why, Like,
do you honestly think Rob your mom? Your mom would
be like, oh, I see it. He is so hot,
Like she would say you're beautiful.

Speaker 1 (15:30):
My mom would say that I was handsome. Robert, you
look that's yeah, that's the first thing. Maybe you're right,
Maybe you're right. Okay, we're gonna take a quick break
and it will be right back. Welcome back to the
Naughty but Nic Show and rosh to with mydear friend, Garrette. Garrett,
let's get to the polls. Last show it took about
Camilla Cabello hitting the stage to a nearly empty stadium.

(15:50):
It's about only thirty percent fall. I blame her management team,
her agent. She was just booked in a venue that
just is too big for her. But she did the show,
and a lot of people are saying that that's a
good thing to do. The people that bought tickets wanted
to see her, and she put on a show. However,
it is a bit weird. Have you ever been to
a pop concert where it's just empty? Should she have canceled?
Some people are saying she should have canceled. Let's have

(16:12):
a look. Ooh should she have canceled?

Speaker 2 (16:14):
Wow?

Speaker 1 (16:15):
Only twenty percent said yes. If you sell tickets, you
can't punish the people that bought the tickets because a
lot of people did not. Yeah, I think I agree
with this, Garrett. If I'd say on Tuesday night, I'm
gonna come, I'm doing the rub Shooter Show, and then
I don't turn up because there's not enough people there, No,
it doesn't feel right. I think she did the right thing,
even though now these pictures are gonna last forever.

Speaker 2 (16:38):
They will those pictures though, but no one talks about
the weather in Atlanta that night. There was snow in
Atlanta that night, you know what I mean. So pictures
could be so deceiving. You know, it's easy for her
to cancel, But I think it's one of those things
where you and I both know schedules probably could not
permit for her to come back or wherever they So, yes,
could she canceled? Probably? I think it might have been

(17:00):
a better look. But whoever took that photo which looks
like it's from the back of the stage, so someone
in house.

Speaker 1 (17:04):
It just looks like, yeah, it looks like it's someone
on her tamp. It doesn't look like it's a fan.
It's really really, really cruel, right, I think she did
the right thing. Okay, don't forget to vote on today's pole.
Got a Twitter page at norety nice Rabat facebook page
is noughdy garciap and be sure to check back down
my router here at your results. And now it's time
for the nicest.

Speaker 2 (17:24):
Yes, and Ron sure to get ready for a review
after this story. So and let me know if you
saw a said person in this story. So, Ryan Reynolds
actually showed up and quote unquote surprised his best friend
Hugh Jackman at his opening night of his Radio City
residency here in New York City. And all this while,
as you know, in the background, the Justin Baldoni drama

(17:46):
going on with Clake Lively and Ryan Reynolds. I'm surprised
Justin Baldoni hasn't thrown Hugh Jackman in there yet. I'm
sure time will tell you that. But Hugh has a
huge show, and he was doing this Hugh and A segment.
Get it Q and A instead of Q and A
because it's Hugh. Jerry and Ryan stood up and talked

(18:06):
how much he admires, loves, and how great of a
person Hugh Jackman was. Now, Rob, I know you were
in the audience. Did you enjoy the show? I was there.
I was there.

Speaker 1 (18:19):
He's great. He's old fashioned entertainment. He's a song and
dance man that just doesn't exist anymore. He's from the
school of Neil Diamonds, from the school of Billy joel Like.
He comes out like Elton. He comes out and he
tap dances, and he smiles, and he sings and he dance,
does lots of Standards, New York.

Speaker 2 (18:35):
Do you want to jump rope like him? Now? Did
you see him jump rope?

Speaker 1 (18:38):
He did jump rope, so that was cute too. He
had his trainer come out and he jumped rope with
his trainer. It was really, really cute. He hired this
guy who I know, Ashley Wallen. Let me give him
a shout out. He was the choreographer for the Greatest
show Man. Oh, he's so talented, and they recreated about
five or six numbers from there. It felt like I
was watching The Greatest show Man? Where is the five

(18:58):
or sixth numbers from The great to Showman?

Speaker 2 (19:00):
Where is that show?

Speaker 1 (19:01):
Should be going to do it in London? I think, first,
you know you can make a lot of money doing
The Greatest Showman and brought it, although he's probably making
more money doing The Greatest Showman by himself at Radio
City where he doesn't have to split the money with
anybody else. I'd nicest of the day now and nought
is the day. Naughty, naughty, naughty. Melissa Gilbert, who you

(19:21):
know from Little House on the Prairie, has ditched Hollywood
because it's not a safe place for her to age.
She's not the naughtiest of the day. La is so,
she said, growing up in Hollywood. When she turned sixty,
she realized that the city's obsession with youth oh made
it an unbearable place for her to embrace growing older.
I've been to La many, many, many times, and I

(19:44):
feel it. I feel like Grandpa Moses in LA. When
I was twenty. In La it was more funny. Really
really does judge. It's a town. I don't feel it
in New York. We all feel it a little bit.
Growing gold anywhere is never really embraced. Let's be honest.
It's a youth culture wherever you live. However, New York
I just don't feel it like I did do when
I visited La. So Melissa got out. Go live somewhere

(20:07):
that makes you happy, I think is the conclusion here.
Let's end with her moment. This isn't really easy today.
It always seems impossible until it's done. Think of all
the things that you've done that you just never thought
you could. You did it. I read a book, I
got a podcast. My friend Garrett's on the number one
radio show in America, The Morning Show. You did it, Garrett.

(20:28):
It must have felt impossible until it was done. Hey,
that is it for today. Thank you so much for listening.
So they're not even nice with Robin Garrett Show, a
production of iHeartRadio. Don't forget to subscribe on the iHeartRadio

you can, and remember all together now, if you're going
to be naughty.

Speaker 2 (20:47):
You gotta be here.

Speaker 1 (20:48):
Let me hear you nice, take care of everybody. Pep
pep pick.

Speaker 2 (20:56):
It's not even nice with rub
