Speaker 2 (01:17):
I know. I've always wanted to stop. I mean not always,
but pretty much always once when I saw.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
You were born aways in South Florida, You've had waffle
houses in your entire life.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
I've never been to a Cracker Barrel, god Man chickens,
I hear.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
Yeah, for no reason. I would absolutely go.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
LEAs Fager has been to the best restaurants in the world,
I mean, in all of the culinary capitals around the world.
But he hasn't gone to a waffle house, nor has
he been to a Cracker brow for no reason.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
I love that time.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
Have you shopped at Cracker Barrel, Y's experience.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
It's an experience, you know. The only reason I knew
Cracker Barrel of them is because when I wrote a
fried chicken book, they sold my Fried Chicken book.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
There you go.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
Yeah, so that's how that's how I knew it. But no,
I've never been in one, you know, and they wanted
me to do a signing in one like in I
don't even know where it was, so I didn't go.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
Well, they're everywhere. No, is that microphone? You gotta get
really close to that, my lie.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
I'm so sorry.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
No, you know that microphone you're using. Lee Scheger has
never heard the words I wrote a fried Chicken book,
or I guess it, never heard the words. I'll have
another cup of coffee here since there is none.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
Oh right, here, she goes, I I am not complaining,
Yes you are, I am, but you know what, I
am on a mission.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
I am going to get a sponsor for your green room.
I'm going to get like a great we have one.
We have announced it. Oh no, it's going to be
a blue room. And it's going to be fantastic, a
blue room. Oh yeah, No, it's going to be outfit
like you. We'll leave it at that. Not a moment
too soon. So whoever is consoring it, you have no barometer,
you have no nothing to meet. I mean I have

(02:54):
to tell you.

Speaker 1 (02:55):
Can we announce that yet? Is it done? Is it? Yes? No?

Speaker 3 (02:58):
No?

Speaker 1 (02:58):
But it can't blue, you can't say anything else. Please
move on. Okay, I'm moving on. So Lee Schweger, are
you wondering where this.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
I still I could.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
Tell people who you are, because no one knows who
you are pretty much. Oh yeah, we go, here, we go.
We have a new audience every day, you have to
that's lately, you can't keep them. I'm sure you have.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
A new audience every day. I mean really, I listened
to the show myself. No wonder you have new audience
every day.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
I know you for that, little bitch. Okay, here's the thing.
Lee Shweger not only is a dear friend, but also
he brings us every year these incredible events. Of course,
the South Beach Wine and Food Festival and here in
New York, the New York City Wine and Food Festival.
And we have been a part of that incredible institutions
for so many years. But for some reason, several years
have gone by. We were on vacation while he was
doing his festival. This year, we're back. The planets are

(03:51):
lining up and we could not thank you enough and
we cannot be more proud to be a part of
the New York City Winding Food Festival. This year.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
Thank you. I wish I could say the same. So
we are so excited to have all you guys back
on Friday, October seventeenth. We are finally doing a karaoke contest.
Has anyone thought about how we're doing it or what
we're doing?

Speaker 3 (04:11):
Ok?

Speaker 2 (04:11):
Figured you figure it out. I have ideas. Yes, so
we should be able to throw food at people when
they're bad at karaoke. Oh my god, I love that. Yes,
rotten tomatoes, rotten ones, that is a fun idea.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
No, no, I have doubts. No, no, no, I love
that idea I have. I had a food fight on
a radio show years ago and we got yelled at
by people said, you know, you really could feed people with.

Speaker 2 (04:39):
It, And you're right, And since we used to benefit
a hunger Cause for many years, we won't do that.
But what we will do is we'll put it what's
that like, a velcrow down on the floor, and after
that we'll make a rat tattooy or a tomato sauce.
It's a five second rule.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
Only just use old, rotten vegetables that are really grown.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
I am really excited. I have been practicing for karaoke night,
which tickets happened to be on and sale today, really,
which is the only reason I'm here, the only reason
I was invited in because tickets are in sale today,
So I have to plug your event so somebody will
come to it. It is what are we calling? It's
a what is it called? Uh, sweet eat and beats?

Speaker 1 (05:13):
I mean by parentild on, hold on, hush? Do you
ever turn that thing off?

Speaker 2 (05:19):
Never?

Speaker 1 (05:19):
It's called okay, it's Elvis Durrant and the cast of
the Z one hundred one, My god.

Speaker 2 (05:24):

But I think I will survive. Okay, right, let me
tell you about Hour of a Big Spender.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
I want to talk.

Speaker 2 (05:48):

they normally get off the theater round ten, ten thirty,
they're gonna come over. And you know, people like my
friend Jane Kurkowski and Neil and Dtan, Neil Patrick Harris
and David Berger are gonna come over and do some numbers. Yeah,
so we're gonna have those people because Lord knows we'll

as well.

embarrass himself. Thank goodness, Gandhi was there to save was
the best thing ever.

Speaker 1 (08:02):
Do you want to hear what that sounds like. So
we had we had to do announcements and think our
incredible sponsors incredible because and you can't mess it up
because these these are people that run run the whole thing,
you know, Thank God for sponsors, and pay your salaries
and pay our salaries even though we don't get paid
jack for this anyway anyway, So we have to read

(08:22):
their names. And we had been drinking tequila all night
and judging tequila drink I heard about so here coming.
Have you heard Nate yet? Listen to this?

Speaker 2 (08:30):
