The White House says President Trump will decide on possible
US intervention in the Iran Israel conflict in the next
two weeks.

Speaker 3 (00:17):
Kate Fisher with more as President Trump weighs taking military
action in Iran, the US has been building up military
forces in the region. While the Pentagon says the build
up's defensive, it does better position the US should Donald
Trump decide to join Israeli attacks on Iran. It could
also be a tactic to pressure Iran to make concessions.

The war between Israel and Iran is now in its
second week. The conflict began last Friday, when Israel attacked
Iran in an effort to keep it from developing nuclear weapons.
Ran claims its nuclear program is peaceful and retaliated by
returning fire at Israel. Israeli air attacks have reportedly killed
over six hundred people in Iran. Israel claims Iran and
missiles have killed about two dozen civilians. Today, the Foreign

ministers of Britain, France and Germany will be meeting in
Geneva with Iranian diplomats to search for ways to end
the war. A federal judge is blocking President Trump from
tying states transportation funding to immigration enforcement. More from Chris Karagio.

The judge in Providence, Rhode Island granted a request from
twenty Democratic led states to bar the administration from implementing
the policy. The plan would force the states to cooperate
with immigration authorities in order to get billions in transportation
grant funding. The states argued the plan is unlawful and
the US Transportation Secretary lacks the authority to impose such

conditions on funding. In the injunction, the judge said the
states were likely to succeed on the merits of their claims.

visas will have their social media accounts screen for hostility

Under the new guidelines, anyone seeking an FM or J
visa will have to make their social media profiles public
or face rejection. The State Department says it's on the
lookout for hostile comments towards the citizens, culture, government institutions,
or founding principles of the United States. It did not

and the increased scrutiny comes amid President Trump's efforts to

The FDA has approved a powerful drug shown to nearly
eliminate the spread of HIV in clinical trials. Sarah Lee

It's a twice yearly injectable from Gilead Sciences called Yestuco.
Despite the decline in new diagnoses, one point one million
Americans are living with HIV. The Yestugo shot was first
approved in twenty twenty two to be used with other
meds to treat HIV strains that are highly drug resistant.
