Israel Is reportedly preparing to take full control of the
Gaza Strip. Local media reports a source in Prime Minister
Benjamin net Yahoo's office saying the decision has been made
and that the Palestinian militant group HAMAS will not release
the remaining hostages taken in twenty twenty three unless the
area comes under full Israeli occupation. Rap Sanchez says Israel

isn't the only side that's been making controversial moves in
the ongoing conflict.

Hamas Fritz part is applying pressure of its own. We
have seen two videos of emaciated Israeli hostages released in
the last week, one by Islamic Jahad, one by Hamas itself.

Dozens of Texas Democrats remain in Illinois to prevent their
home state Republican led legislature from having a quorum to
vote on redrawing a legislative map. To state Representative John
Busey says, it's worth the five hundred dollars a day
fine for their absence from the legislature.

In broad daylight, Texas legislators planned to remain in Illinois
for two weeks as a strategy to prevent Republicans from
passing a legislative map that would provide five more GOP
seats in Congress. Russia says it no longer is subject
to the Intermediate Range Nuclear Forces Treaty it signed with
the United States in nineteen eighty seven. Daria Bonderchuk with more.

The move came on the eve of the US President
Trump's Special and voice Steve Whitcoff's planned visit to Russia

Tennessee Death Row inmate Byron Black is expected to be
put to death this morning. Governor Bill Lee says he
has no plans to intervene in Black's lethal injection, scheduled

Fire on California's central coast has burned more than seventy
two thousand acres of land and remains just three percent contained.

The fire has been burning since Friday afternoon in the
Los Padres National Forest northeast of Santa Maria. Evacuation orders
were expanded on Monday as the fire continues to grow.
Highway one sixty six is shut down between Highway one
oh one and the southern junction of Highway thirty three.
At least three people have been injured as a result
of the fire. I'm Daniel Martindale.

The Gates Foundation is pledging to spend two and a
half billion dollars on women's health by twenty thirty. Monica

Founder Bill Gates says the money we'll focus on conditions
like preclamcia and menopause, health concerns that he says have
been long neglected. The plan is to drive research and
product development and get those products to women around the world.
It's part of gates effort to give away his two
hundred billion dollar fortune by twenty forty five.

Their names may be in the headlines, but a new
Gallup survey finds many newsmakers aren't very popular. Furry O'Neil
with more.

When asked about fourteen high profile newsmakers, most Americans didn't
have nice things to say. A new Gallup survey found
only three of the fourteen had favorable views Senator Bernie Sanders,
President Vladimir Zelenski, and Pope Leo, who topped the poll
with a net positive of forty six. Former President Biden
and Vice President jd Vance were both minus eleven, President

Trump a net negative sixteen, and Tesla's Elon Musk at
the bottom at minus twenty eight.

Plastic pollution is a health danger costing at least one
point five trillion dollars a year. Tammy Trehio reports.

That's according to a new report in the medical journal
The Lancet. The report looked at data from a range
of studies that found plastic chemicals are causing health problems
and that children and infants are especially at risk. They
said it's lowering birth rates, birth rates, and cognitive function.
