are spreading nationwide. LA's mayor says communities are paralyzed with
fear over ice raids. A man is arrested by agents

Anti ice protests are continuing across the country. In overnight,
curfew remained in place in a one square mile area
of downtown Los Angeles. In Texas, Governor Greg Abbott ordering
the state's National Guard to be deployed to cities to
ensure peace and order. Protests have also erupted in cities
such as Denver, New York, Chicago, Saint Louis, Las Vegas,

and Washington, d C. Black Congresswoman Sydney Cume Logger discussing
the task of dispersing crowds and also wide in on
Governor Newsom's handling of the protests.

I think the governor was spot on. He was talking
about this being a democracy. This is not how you
work with governors, you know. Remember it was the Capitol
police who asked for the National Guard to be deployed
on January sixth, and Donald Trump didn't do so. So
why all of a sudden when he is looking for numbers,
you know, deportation numbers to go up. Is he committing
these kinds of a try?

And Los Angeles Cumloger Dove, speaking on CNN, she's a
member of the Congressional Black Caucus. Los Angeles' Black Mayor
Karen Bass said, ice raids are terrorizing the community. But
when you raid home depots and workplaces, when you tear
parents and children apart, and when you run armored caravans
through our streets, you're not trying to keep anyone safe.

Bess said, the White House is out of line. Community
members and religious leaders are denouncing an immigration and customs
enforcement rate at a house of worship, alleging federal agents
targeted a Spanish speaking man in the church parking lot.
Reverend Tanya Lopez is senior pastor at Downey Memorial Christian Church,
and since she saw several men in plain clothing with

police badges and bulletproof vests detain the individual, she says
an agent pointed a rifle at her when she tried
to get closer to the vehicle. Reverend Richie Sanchez, a
regional minister from the Pacific Southwest Region Disciples of Christ
says the community will keep up the resistance by continuing
to rise and meet the challenge. He says, after all,

of the United States. Beginning on January first, Oregon Health
Plan patients with certain rare and severe diseases will be
able to access cell and gene therapies. Oregon is one
of thirty five states to apply for a multi year
initiative with the CENTRIS for Medicare and Medicaid Services to

shorten a person's lifespan by twenty years. The majority of

said it is unacceptable. He's calling for a prompt and
transparent investigation. Ajwong was active on x and Facebook. He
was arrested last weekend for posting allegations of corruption against
a senior police officer. Was later detained and transferred to
Nairobi without a court order. The case has sparked national
