Hey, thanks FORRIA. As a battle for immigration justice heats
up across the country, with voters taken to the streets
derailing change. In Chicago, Mayor Brandon Johnson is speaking out
in support of the protesters after fifteen people were arrested
in the Windy City. Johnson is calling on activists to
remain peaceful but vigilant and they're intent to fight against
ice and the Trump administration's abuse of power. The African

He is deranged and unwill It's important that we remain
focused on our opposition. Is it's a war in our culture.

It's apparent that Americans across the country are not shy

the DMV. It's a story about a black life that
was lost too soon. Faculty, staff and students at HBCU
moor House College, you're morning the tragic loss of nineteen
year old Kyle Coleman, whose body was recovered from a

Was a smart, intelligent, good looking, funny.

Young man who did an amazing thing.

Coleman was missing after police found his car abandoned after
a crash in the Tysons area of Virginia last week.

Early Saturday morning. I think I pinned him and said, hey, man,
are you still out? And I got no response from him,
and so right around, you know, sun coming up. I'm like,
oh my goodness, this is not Kyle's type behavior. We
really need to check this out.

The family then used technology to research where his car
was located, which they found at a car wreking shop.
A dive team found his body in a pond not
far from the crash scene. Coleman had just wrapped up
his first year at Morehouse. The college describes his death
as heartbreaking. Family and friends say he was more than
just a remarkable student, but was a future trailblazer and

finally African American. Delaware US Senator Lisa Blunt Rochester joined
colleague Chris Coons at the grand opening celebration for HBCU
Delaware State University's Early Childhood Innovation Center. It's aimed at
helping educators that are actively working with young people in
pursuing a Childhood Development Associate certificate. Students can get hands
on experience by way of the HPC's on site childhood facility.
