I got a bunch of excellent questions for this episode of Dear Chiquis. This week, I tell Sarita all about the books I’ve been working on, including one that hasn’t come out yet; an anonymous listener wants to know how to approach sex with a new partner after getting out of a long-term relationship; and Influencers.Estrellados has a question about my vocal warm-up routine.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
Hello, everyone, it's your big sister Cheeky's and you've reached
my personal voicemailbox for the Dear Cheekys podcast. I'm here
to give you a device on anything and everything you
need help with. Whether you're going through a breakup or
having issues with your family, or maybe you have a
question about my personal life. Whatever the case is, I
want to hear from you. Remember these are my thoughts

(00:39):
in my opinions, and if you're suffering from a serious
issue or hardship, you should seek help from a qualified professional.
All right, now, go ahead and leave your message at
the sound of the beeB.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
Hi Cheeky's. I want to start off by saying that
I love you your whole family. I have been a fan
of your mom for me many many years, and I'm
so glad that you're following in her footsteps because I
love your music and I hope that you continue with it.
I did meet you one time at a book signing

(01:13):
in La so I flew from Chicago to La just
for that, just to meet you, and I remember you
gave me a hug and I felt your soul like
I felt so connected with you. It was like I
knew you and ever since then. I'm my oh, my god,

(01:33):
obsessed with everything that you do. And speaking of books,
I read Forgiveness. I loved it, and currently I'm rereading
Unstoppable because I feel like every time that I go
in there, I get a new message, I get something

(01:54):
new from it, and it's so inspiring. I really go
in there for inspiration a lot of the time times
and just wondering if you have any plans for a
new book coming soon or something like that, because I
love how much you inspire through your writing, so I
hope there is something coming up soon.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
Take care, Oh Sadita, I love you. That makes me
so happy. That's the best compliment that you can give me,
is when someone meets me and they feel like they
know me or they love my energy. I love that,
so thank you so much, and thank you for reading
my books. I got to go to Chicago, my gosh,

(02:36):
I love Chicago. I gotta go do something out there.
But yes, I'm working currently on my children's book. Well
it's already come out July fifteenth, actually, and it's called
The Girl Who Seems to Be I have it in
English and in Spanish. It's a children's book. But I'm
also working on another book, more of a spiritual book,
more of like not an autobiography like Forgiveness and Unstoppable,

(03:00):
But in Unstoppable there's quotes even in Forgiveness and just
kind of things like that will inspire you the way
that you're saying, like an uplift you. So I want
to go more towards that angle. I have the name.
I can't say it yet because we haven't registered it,
but I am working on something like that, and I
think it's going to be something like becoming and coming
back to I don't know, something down those lines. I

(03:22):
have to sit down with my agent and talk about it.
But I do want to work on another book. That's
something else that I've just been connecting with lately is
writing a lot, and I'm enjoying it so much. Writing
my quotes, writing my poems and all this stuff. I'm like,
I found, not found, I refound that passion in a
different way now. So definitely look forward to that SETI

(03:44):
than thank you so much for your support and your love.
I am so grateful for people like you, And yeah,
I think Mom is proud. I can really say that
from the bottom of my heart. I'm like Mom, I
think Mom's proud for sure. Thank you, Sadith that for
your question. You made me smile you alrighty guys, Now

(04:04):
we have another question from an anonymous listener.

Speaker 3 (04:07):
Ola chia sexualsa con persona starves personae.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
Olaula can peto the Hello. Okay, so this anonymous listener
is asking how to go about having sex? Are being
intimate with someone else after being intimate with just one
person for a long period of time. I'm assuming she
was in a very long relationship and now she's trying

(04:59):
to rEFInd is not even a word, but her sexuality
with someone else. Okay, Joe wow, machinoke is ifici Joe
antaeos to the timpo, come on Manola Carrassoni and tregarme

(05:26):
out persona you call pork to personaja namigo and while
per in timnel and is important pre contrar to sexually

(05:48):
and timisma center te sexy center, tila portia tra persona
to the coma and two piel looket to cam in
tregarde completamente por moso s alware mosso lestar con alli
and sexualmente and the opinion persona persona is the most

(06:17):
compartiendo no ao cso is paramimas importante us to querpono
so eso is importante premiramente to Mason cuenta il entierto.
Sex is entierte a mada pisma is alo malo ces
persona called qual keres star respectol your okes facil that

(06:46):
clo sintojo. So basically, I told this prop anonymous listener
that I know it's difficult. I think she needs to
find her sexuality within herself first, then feel sexy and
know what she can do and what she can give
someone sexually and be confident in that, but also think

(07:06):
about and very importantly consider who this person is, because
having sex with someone shouldn't, in my opinion, be just casual,
like we're exchanging energies and it's something very very intimate,
and their problems in some way become your problems because
this is it's it's an it's a ritual, you know,
having sex is a ritual, guys. So I was just

(07:26):
telling her to take that in mind and to make
sure that if this person is someone that wants to
be with her and taking her seriously, because that is
also can either leave her feeling great or feeling worse
afterwards so it's always just being mindful about who you
are giving your body to. So that was my advice
to her, and I hope it helped, yes perro Okay, guys,

(08:04):
last question comes from influencers, is today yallows? All right,
let's see.

Speaker 2 (08:09):
Hank Chiki's This is influencers.

Speaker 1 (08:12):
We want to know what's your vocal warm up routine? Ooh,
I like this question? All right, girl, Okay, So I
have different ways of warming up. I usually do a
close mouth hum so that means my lips are closed
and I'm just doing a hum so it opens up
the back of my throat kind of like like it's

(08:34):
kind of like you're holding a big potato in the
back of your throat. It's hard to explain. And then
I do little tongue rolls like Also another thing that
helps me is putting a pencil in my mouth and
doing that same thing to kind of get my lips loose.
And another way of getting your lips loose, because if
your lips are loose and you know they move easily,

(08:55):
then you are able to project better. So it's like
boo doing that kind of of like noise, drinking only
warm stuff teased warm water, right, before going on stage
and vocalizing as much as possible. I have a little
note from one of my vocal coaches from a long

(09:15):
time ago. I think he gave me these vocal lessons
or these vocal exercises like in twenty eighteen, and I
still use them, and it's just kind of like just
it's a bunch of stuff, a bunch of little things
like that. But those are the things that I do.
And then also straws, vocal straws where you have a
straw and you like make bubbles into a glass cup

(09:37):
or any type of cup that has water. That also
helps just vibrate your vocal cords and it helps you
warm up. So that's what I do. And thank you
for your question. I like that question. It is different.
I love it and thank you all much. And if
you guys have a question, please leave it. It could
be about anything. As you can see, we talk about
anything and everything here on this podcast, So leave me

(09:59):
your question and I'd love to hear from you at
