Speaker 1 (00:00):
In turn, John and your morning show.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Happy Friday, friend, Welcome to the show. Internshohn is my name, Sauce, Hello,
hello Rose, Hi Hi. Officially our last Friday of April,
which means birthday month.

Speaker 3 (00:14):
It's gonna be by for one I feel right, Yes, yes,
Eric and Sauce Yeah, and Georgia Oh yes.

Speaker 1 (00:20):
Yeah look at that.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
Uh nine eight a text DM's rap and at Ymos
Radio got to Eric here hoodie Savera as well thought
this is interesting for your Friday. They put out what
twenty twenty five grads want most in a job if
you had a guest, Sauce, give me something at twenty
twenty five.

Speaker 4 (00:37):
Grad good money, I mean don't know. Yeah, Hi, Rose,
you benefit. Yeah yeah, that's all a fair general.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
So for sixty two percent, the most important aspect of
a job is good salary.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
Twelve percent say they accept unpaid internship. I saw TikTok yesterday.
This guy's like, I'd rather make two hundred k for
a bad boss than fifty k for a boss is
really nice. In the comment was if your boss is
really nice, he wouldn't pay fifty thousand dollars.

Speaker 1 (01:04):
There, that is true.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
Overall, they say ninety one percent say it's important they
feel like they're comfortable talking about mental wellness at work.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
Oh yeah, they say.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
Seventy one percent say they wouldn't work for a company
openly supports political issues or candidates They don't.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
Okay, I think that's probably that's fair.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
I wouldn't want my company to do if I like
the person by quiz, Please not do that, please, please please.
They say the top deal breaker for new grads is
a job or company it doesn't have or offer work
life balance.

Speaker 3 (01:32):
Yeah, that's important, especially now.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
Yeah, fifty six percent say they never worked there. Sure,
they say. Another deal breaker is a stagnant workplace anything.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
Yeah. Fifty four percent say they wouldn't take a job
at a company doesn't offer career growth opportunities. I'm surprised
it's only fifty four percent.

Speaker 3 (01:48):
I think that a lot of people like go into
job though in your grad and you don't realize, you
don't really think about it because you just want the
job so badly.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
Oh yeah, maybe it's like this is not my forever job,
but at least like I'll build a resume and get
some money.

Speaker 3 (01:59):
Also, it's like my brother just started his career after
graduating and he just went into it. He's like, I
just want this to be surface level. I want to
get my feet wet and learn. And then he's like,
I don't care if I grow with this company, Sir.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
We have a lot of jobs.

Speaker 3 (02:10):
The jobs you do want, you need to have X
amount of years of experience and all that stuff.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
So that makes sense. It's always good.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
It's like, you need thirty years of experience, you need
to be twenty five years old. I said, well, that
doesn't quite work.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
I saw this part time job when I was like,
because I was looking to apply for the little side
hustle and the part time gig, you had to have
three to five years experience.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
Sure, And I was like, oh boy, yeah, and be
a doctor and land on the moon. Yeah, fantastic. Yes,
it's that intern Jhanu Morning show intern John in your
morning show. That's true at iHeartRadio.
