Michelle and Dave have been together for a little over three years and while things have been great for the most part, Michelle tells us things have been different the past three months. Dave got their friend Kayla a new job at his office and Michelle has noticed that Dave hangs out with her all the time.  At the same time, Kayla tried to give Michelle advice on what to get for Dave’s birthday and it not only weirded Michelle out, but they were both sick at the same time last week as well.

We call Dave pretending to send him a free bouquet of flowers and when we ask him who he wants them sent to, Dave asks if they can be sent to Kayla. Find out what’s really going on in this week’s War Of The Roses!

Speaker 1 (00:07):
War.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
Are the roses on a turned Johnny Your Morning Show.

Speaker 3 (00:10):
You think your person might be the one, but you
also think something is up. Are they cheating? We rip
out the band aid to try to find things out. Michelle,
good morning, Good morning. So walk us through this, Michelle,
you and Dave been together?

Speaker 2 (00:25):
How long?

Speaker 4 (00:27):
Well, we've been together three years.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
We've been dating for three years, gotcha. And everything's been good.
Everything's been fine.

Speaker 3 (00:33):
However, about three months ago, things started to take a
not real turn, but maybe off. Yeah, the things that
are seeing a little bit off.

Speaker 4 (00:44):
Yeah, it's it's an interesting situation. So so yeah, like
I said, like, we have a great relationship, everything's growing great,
and we have this mutual friend and her name is Kayla,
known for a long time, and she was recently unemployed.
She's out of work, and uh, you know, we both
felt really bad for like, she's a great person and Dave, sorry,

(01:06):
that's my that's my boyfriend. He got her job at
his office, right, which great, it's very exciting, very nice.
But this is fine until about like so this is
like three months ago, and then started to get I
don't know, like I want to say, like very very chummy, right,

(01:27):
like their buddies, which is like, sure, you guys work together.
I get it, like you share other things that are
different whatever, but like when I'm around them, like she's
also handsy with him, like not just him, Yeah, I
don't it's weird. And then so I feel like they

(01:48):
also share stuff but like he he's I know, he's
telling her stuff that like I told him in confidence, right,
and like she's she's starting to like tell me stuff
that I was like, I definitely didn't you anything about that.

Speaker 3 (02:01):
Oh, so like oh, like you know, you know I
heard that you guys are having issues because the dog
ate the couch that like that kind of like you
know almost that she's close.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
With your man.

Speaker 4 (02:15):
Yeah, And I don't know if she's doing it on
purpose or she's like just letting it slip, but it's
I was like, why do you know that?

Speaker 2 (02:20):
That's all?

Speaker 4 (02:24):
Yeah? But like like so then one another very weird
thing is she is so Day's birthdays coming up, and
she's like, oh my god, you guys you should totally
get him like this stuff. And I was like, why
are you telling Like I didn't ask her, Like why
are you telling me what I should get my boyfriend
for his birthday, like never talked about that before.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
Well, and that's the thing I thought was on the
sell because three years of dating means this is probably
your third birthday. Yeah, so it's like it's not you
went to like his sister and hey where She's like, hey,
I know better than you do, even though even with him.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
For three years.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
Literally I think that's so awful.

Speaker 4 (03:04):
Yeah. I was like, do you know any of the
other things I got them for his birthday?

Speaker 2 (03:07):
Like you don't?

Speaker 5 (03:08):
Like? Okay, Well, someone to like to interject themselves into
something like that is so odd to me.

Speaker 3 (03:15):
I guess, like the cherry on top is is you
said they both got sick this past week, which could.

Speaker 4 (03:20):
Be Yeah, so they both got neurovirus. That's the exact
same time. And I was like, that's there's no like,
that's that's sauce, Like, I don't wi like.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
It could be though, if it is a big year
for neural virus, if.

Speaker 3 (03:33):
They're in the same office, maybe So let's do this, Michelle.
We'll have sauce call off from the roses should go
to you girlfriend three years uh, and if they don't,
we'll get to answers for you.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
Okay, Okay, wore the roses no problem in less than
three minutes.

Speaker 3 (03:48):
An intern John your Morning Show, swore the rosies on
intern John in Your Morning Show. Michelle and me recap
this quickly. You and Dave been together about three years.
Everything's been good. You guys have a mutual friend named
Kayla who was looking for a job. About three months ago,
Dave got her a job at his office. Everything's going well,
although you've noticed that since they started working together, she

(04:10):
gets a little bit more handsy with him in public.
At number one number two, she'll say things to you
that seem to indicate that he is telling her details
about your relationship. Like she'll be like, oh, Dave mentioned
that you didn't like when he did whatever. And then
next is that Dave's Birthday's coming up. She was saying
to you, Oh, you should really think about getting him

(04:31):
blank for his birthday, almost like she's trying to say, Hey,
I am closer to your man.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
Than you think.

Speaker 1 (04:37):
Hey, I'm your man.

Speaker 3 (04:39):
And they made the chair on top as they both
had neurovirus in this last week, which could just be
a questions work together as far as the job goes, though, Michelle,
when did he bring up hiring her. Did she ask?
Did you suggest it? How did she get into that situation?
Somebody asked over.

Speaker 4 (04:58):
Text I a thing if I remember, if I remember correctly,
like Dave said there was an opening and I didn't
even really think about that. Yeah he said it, but
that just made sense, Like it didn't didn't raise any
red flags to me, because like that's what you do
for your friends, Yeah, you help them get work. But yeah,
I think he I think he told me, and he's like,

(05:19):
should I ask her? And was like, yeah, of course, okay,
So I think that's how it came up.

Speaker 3 (05:24):
And objectively, let's just say that one of your other
friends was like, hey, I think Kayla's trying to step
into my man. Do you think that something in her character?
Or can you say no, she wouldn't do that.

Speaker 4 (05:36):
I mean, I don't think she would do that.

Speaker 3 (05:38):
Okay, And that's perfect. Okay, So let's do this. We'll
have Sauce call from the flower company, from the Roses.
They should go to you. Clearly, if they go to you,
we'll put them on hold, we can hang up, move on.
Never happened. If they go to Kayla or somebody else,
will get some answers okay, okay o on is that

(05:59):
the it pick me attitude like when you're like, oh
I knew about this? Is that kind of misunderstanding?

Speaker 1 (06:04):
So it's like more to like check me, like, hey,
I know your man there.

Speaker 2 (06:08):
Okay, sure that makes more sense, which is gross. Need
an urban dictionary later today for sure.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
Hello, Hello, I'm calling for Dave.

Speaker 2 (06:25):
Uh yeah, hi Dave.

Speaker 1 (06:27):
My name is Ellie.

don't need your credit card stuff. I mean, we don't
need your credit card stuff or anything. And yeah, let's
let's let's make that happen.

Speaker 1 (06:46):

Speaker 5 (06:48):

we get them mouse today since it's early.

Speaker 1 (07:14):

Speaker 5 (07:15):
We can send them anywhere in the country, but we
would prefer to be locals that you come back to us.

Speaker 1 (07:21):
Okay, are you sure?

Speaker 5 (07:24):
I mean, I don't want to twist your arm, but
I mean free flowers. If you surprise somebody today and
make their day, I mean you're gonna have a great week.
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (07:34):
Twist the arm. Yeah, that's cool, all.

Speaker 1 (07:36):
Right, sick all right.

Speaker 5 (07:37):
So we're gonna make a little profile for you in
case you do love the flowers, which I know you
absolutely will. There are a dozen red roses. My mom
makes a bouquet and she's just a pro at her job. Uh,
So we're gonna make a little profile in case you

flowers to.

Speaker 1 (07:54):
Let's go with Kaylea And then what is she to you?
Your wife? Girlfriend, sister? They are red roses? What are
you writing a book?

Speaker 5 (08:05):
It was just in case you come back and you're like,
let me get my flowers for Kayla and then I'm like, Oh,
how's your girlfriend doing?

Speaker 3 (08:11):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (08:11):
Your anniversary is coming up. We're just trying to become
your go to shop. We want to become like your friends.
She's she's my BFF, your BFFs.

Speaker 2 (08:21):

Speaker 5 (08:23):

how's your bff? Kla with the red flowers? What do
you want the car to say?

Speaker 1 (08:29):
Let's put putt put it?

Speaker 2 (08:35):
It was great being in you, babe?

Speaker 3 (08:38):
Are I agree with the sentiment? We can't say most
of those words, Dave, my name is intern John. I
got sauce and rose here as well. That is your girlfriend, Michelle. Yeah,
we're doing War of the Roses.

Speaker 2 (08:49):
Of the show. I need you to know that, and
or why.

Speaker 1 (08:52):
Would you be in your bfs?

Speaker 2 (08:55):
That was what I just said was a total inside joke.
Apparently absolutely so explain the joke to I.

Speaker 3 (09:04):
Okay, right, bless Michelle saying it's slower.

Speaker 2 (09:07):
Means we still can't say it.

Speaker 1 (09:08):
So that's okay, you know awful?

Speaker 2 (09:12):
So, Dave, what's going on with guy?

Speaker 4 (09:16):
Nothing?

Speaker 3 (09:18):
What do you You're sending red roses to a female
friend and saying you quote, yeah, jokes are being inside
the joke.

Speaker 1 (09:27):
I thought you said they were daisies.

Speaker 2 (09:29):

d you.

Speaker 3 (09:32):
Heard me, So why would you be sending flowers somebody?
It's not your girlfriend, I heard.

Speaker 2 (09:39):
Because it was just a joke. We spend a lot
of time together. I don't think it's that big as
a joke. Don't listen to do you think that's an
appropriate joke?

Speaker 3 (09:49):
That would would be cool if if Michelle made joke
