Ashley and Nate have been dating for a little over two years and have been living with one another for the past six months. Ashley tells us that things have been great, but ever since she started going back to the office she has noticed things have felt kind of off. Nate still works at home, but Ashley has seen that Nate won’t be home for hours during the workday on their pet cam, but their dog is. At the same time, Ashley noticed that Nate has been on a ton of group food orders and is worried something else is going on.

We call Nate pretending to send him a free bouquet of flowers and when we ask him who he wants them sent to, Nate asks if they can be sent to their neighbor Vanessa. Find out what’s really going on in this week’s War Of The Roses!

Speaker 1 (00:05):
War the Roses on Eterns.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
John in your morning show, you think the love of
your life is maybe stepping out.

Speaker 1 (00:11):
Some things don't match up.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
We try to rip off that band, Aid Ashley, good morning.

Speaker 3 (00:17):
Good morning.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
So let's walk through this. You and Nate have been
together how long?

Speaker 4 (00:23):
So we've been together for about two years and living
together for about six months.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
And as far as a living together, was it a
situation where we had the talk or somebody's lease was ending.
I guess was it more of a taking a next
step or more of a convenience factor?

Speaker 4 (00:41):
I mean, definitely convenient, something that we both agreed on
that it just made tense and yeah, you know, considering
where we were going in our relationship, it was time.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
So yeah, and so living together six months that itself
has been going fine.

Speaker 4 (00:56):
Right, it's been going fine. He actually moved in with me,
so it's been Yes, I mean, it's for me, it's
been probably an easier transition, but needless to say, it's
it's been great, you know what.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
Sure, I guess this is kind of the odd thing
now where you were working from home, but recently your
worker is making you guys go into the office.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
Right, right, So that's weird.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
Yeah, which is gonna be an odd thing because it's
like you're just getting used to being around each other
all the time, and now it's like you have to
go back into the office, so kind of like a
weird adjustment, it seems like, exactly.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
And he doesn't have to be back in the office,
so it's.

Speaker 4 (01:37):
Like that makes it even harder because if we were
both out, it's like all right, but I know he's home,
and it's like I just.

Speaker 3 (01:44):
Want to be back there.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, Okay, So let's get into this. You
have a doggy cam, like one of those doggye tree cams,
and you've noticed that there's times where Nate is just
missing an action for what appears to be hours.

Speaker 3 (02:01):
Yeah, so that's exactly it.

Speaker 4 (02:04):
He normally would go, you know, dog walks, and he
would go with some of the neighbors and you know,
they would all walk their dogs together. So him not
being home isn't what's weird. It's the fact that the dog.

Speaker 3 (02:16):
Is you know what I mean, he's work.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
Why is why would he go.

Speaker 4 (02:20):
On on walks with other people and their dogs and
not take our dog?

Speaker 3 (02:24):
You know? Yeah, yeah, that's weird.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
Well, I was gonna mentioned because you you mentioned an
email that he has even walked your neighbor's dog before.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
I guess if she's gone whatever.

Speaker 4 (02:35):
So that's yeah. So like the next door neighbor who
I've always been you know, friendly with, even before Nate
moved in, but we weren't close at all, like friendly,
I mean as in cordial neighbors. Right, since Nate moved in,
she's been extra friendly and she knew that we would

(02:57):
go on these group walks and they and one day
Nate just offered like, oh, if you ever need me
to walk your dog, and so from there when they
got friendly, I was like, all right, maybe I need
to start like checking in on the stitch and seeing what.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
Yeah, she wasn't that friendly before, okay, yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
And now so there you go.

Speaker 4 (03:16):
So I don't know if yeah, Sonie, let's just say
there's been times when he's just walked her dog.

Speaker 1 (03:21):
But still he would also take our dog.

Speaker 4 (03:23):
So my point is, yeah, okay, he wasn't home, I
would normally know about it, right, Yeah, sure, sure, so
let's do let's do this.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
We'll have a sauce called Nate from the flower Company,
off from the roses. They should go to you clearly
girlfriend of two years. If they don't, we'll get some
answers for you.

Speaker 4 (03:42):
Okay, I appreciate it, Thank you.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
I wore the roses in less than three minutes.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
An intern Johnny Morning Show swore the roses on intern
john in your morning show. Ash, let me reset this quickly.
You and Nate been dating for two years. He moved
in about six months ago, which went well, although your
schedules have kind of shifted. You recently had to start
going back into the office, and that's when all this

(04:07):
kind of started.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
If you will, you have a donkey.

Speaker 2 (04:11):
Cam inside your place, and you've realized that there's like
hours a time where Nate is not inside the apartment
and he's left your dog there. You know that he
has agreed to walk your neighbor's dog before, which is
still where that he's not bringing y'all's dog out when
he does that.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
You mentioned that neighbor got much more friendly once.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
Nate moved in with you, real quick, because I want
to bring up something else to somebody's text nine nine
three three eight Is neighbor attractive?

Speaker 3 (04:39):
Okay, yeah, good question. Neighbor is way more attractive than
I am.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
No, no girl, No, No.

Speaker 1 (04:49):
She's not no, okay.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
And the second thing we're talking about this during the song,
explain to me Ashley, so he you think since to
a text that wasn't supposed to.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
Go to you a but Uber eats No.

Speaker 3 (05:03):
I know he sent me a text.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
The problem is I don't know who.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
He meant to send it to because he added me.

Speaker 4 (05:10):
For anyone who's not familiar with Uber, you're allowed to
like add people to your group order, right, Yeah, And
so I get this text that he's trying to add
me to a group order, which is weird because I'm
at the office and I and I wish I could
be like, oh, that's so sweet and cute, but I'm like.

Speaker 3 (05:27):
No, that's not how we do things.

Speaker 4 (05:29):
And so I immediately reached out to him and he
literally just was like, oh, no, that was a mistake
and didn't like, didn't even you know.

Speaker 3 (05:39):
Clarify, just give me like somebody else just said that
it was a mistake.

Speaker 2 (05:43):
Yeah, into if people don't know, Like, so for the show,
sometimes we order breakfast, I'll send the link outs like
Sauce can join it and all goes in one place.
So that is a thing where you'd have to like
go into the group setting and then individually invite some mics.

Speaker 1 (05:59):
That that is odd. So let's sue this.

Speaker 2 (06:01):
Actually, what if sauce call from the flower company, off
from the roses, they should go to you, clearly, girlfriend
of two years.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
If they do go to you and this.

Speaker 2 (06:09):
Is all misunderstanding, we'll just put them on hold and
then we can hang up or do whatever. If they
go to somebody else, though, we'll get some answers for you. Okay, okay, No,
that's all good. Girl home one second. Yeah, absolutely, that's weird.

Speaker 5 (06:25):
Yeah, Hello, Hi, I'm calling for Nathan.

Speaker 3 (06:37):
Yeah, this is ninth who's this Hi?

Speaker 6 (06:39):
My name's Talia. I'm calling you from a new local
flower shop. We're called why Miss Flowers, trying out some
new marketing where we're offering locals a free bouquet of
a dozen red roses, just hoping that you come back
to us, since you know, the holidays are over and
we're just trying to get more foot traffic for summer.
I don't need your credit card, infoe or anything. Is
that something you'd be interested in?

Speaker 7 (06:56):
Uh No, I'm okay.

Speaker 6 (06:59):
I'm okre or just trying to get our flowers out
of the community, especially if you send them to an office.

Speaker 3 (07:03):
It would be really cool.

Speaker 6 (07:04):
Just you know, we just want to get more traffic
to see the flowers in persons of just like an
Instagram ad. Are you sure there's no one that can
send them to? They're totally free.

Speaker 5 (07:13):
I've been calling people all morning, I mean them.

Speaker 3 (07:19):
Yeah, okay, awesome.

Speaker 6 (07:20):
So I'm going to make you a profile just in
case you do really love the flowers, you have someone
that you can send them to, you know, when you
do decide you're going to come back to us, So
can I get a name of who you're.

Speaker 3 (07:29):
Sending them to?

Speaker 7 (07:32):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (07:33):
You send to Vanessa Vanessa? Okay? Is that what two s's? Yeah? Okay?
And then what is she to you?

Speaker 6 (07:41):
Just to make the profile in case you come back
and get Vanessa flowers again, we'll be like, oh, your fiance,
your girlfriend friend? They are red roses though they are romantic.
I'd say, yeah, friend, friend, okay. And then what do
you want the card to say? It's just your typical
little flower card.

Speaker 7 (08:01):
You can have them say hopefully.

Speaker 1 (08:03):
These last longer than I do.

Speaker 3 (08:07):
Sorry you piece cancel.

Speaker 4 (08:11):
I can't go to work for I go to work
I'm gone, not even a month back in the office
and you're already sticking your.

Speaker 2 (08:23):
Nate real quick, My name's interned, John. That is a
sauce and rose. We're doing a war of the roses
on the show. That is your girlfriend and your breath.
We still can't say on the same page as that,
but no, it does beg the question. Are you sticking
things and places they shouldn't go?

Speaker 4 (08:41):
No, of course not like and they're not lasting as
long as you and I both know that you're a
two minute hit it.

Speaker 1 (08:49):
Quitty, So.

Speaker 3 (08:52):
You and you and you think this chick is going to.

Speaker 1 (08:57):
Put up with that show? Wait, so so what are
what are you and Vanessa doing?

Speaker 3 (09:02):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (09:04):
Nothing, This is just like you work out sometimes, like
I can't ready run. So it's just like you know,
I can't run long? Okay wait wait wait I understand.

Speaker 2 (09:15):
So what do you so hopefully these last longer than
I do?

Speaker 1 (09:20):
What does that mean in terms of your neighbor Vanessa?

Speaker 3 (09:23):
Yeah? Working out? Is he an Ather runner Ashley?

Speaker 6 (09:31):
Like he runs the word I love you?

Speaker 3 (09:38):
Oh my god? What is even happening?

Speaker 2 (09:41):
So Nate, okay, so you you're what you're saying is
that you and your neighbor, because I actually told us
there's like hours a time where you're not in the apartment.
You guys go on runs for hours without the dogs?

Speaker 7 (09:55):
Yeah, why not?

Speaker 2 (09:56):
Like where do you run?

Speaker 7 (10:00):
You need to go now around the community, Like what do.

Speaker 2 (10:03):
You mean run around the block for an hour? And
that's not especially it's running around the block for an hour.

Speaker 3 (10:08):
At all, And you'll take your.

Speaker 1 (10:10):
Dog with you? Who runs with dogs.

Speaker 3 (10:17):
A time?

Speaker 2 (10:19):
So Nate, what what it looks like from this an
outsider's point of view is that your girlfriend started going
back to the office, you had time to fool around.
You must have been hanging out there on Monday because
you sent her Uber each order.

Speaker 7 (10:37):
I mean, you guys are really overthinking. That's like so.

Speaker 2 (10:41):
So then explain away. Then some Monday would happened with
you brees.

Speaker 7 (10:46):
It was a mistake, Like I just I accidentally sent
her a link front order, Like I was just looking
at how the Apple works, Like I see, dude, you
guys left us if everybody is like doing everything on
the apps, like sometimes people just don't note that.

Speaker 2 (11:03):
