stories you're in right now, over one thousand Walmart stories.
So congratulations to him for that. I mean, I know
it's not easy to get your products in those stories,
but it also tastes good. Now, Dan, you've had some
(01:54):
of it up here.
Speaker 3 (01:55):
Yes, And I also did not know that this was
Chris Paul's, Brian until after the fact. It is really good.
They're like chips and cheese puffs. I had the spicy
cheese puffs, even the.
Speaker 1 (02:03):
Sweet there's like this popcorn.
Speaker 2 (02:05):
Yeah, it's like cookies and creamies and cream popcorn.
Speaker 1 (02:07):
Even that's good, So shout out to him.
Speaker 2 (02:09):
I love to see somebody lawn something like that, something
that's plant based, something that's healthier options, and it's pretty
damn good.
Speaker 1 (02:16):
All right. Well, who do you want to shine a
light on?
Speaker 2 (02:18):
Eight hundred two nine fifty Who do you want to
shine a light on?

My lovely lady Kierra for being at their at home

Speaker 1 (02:51):
I also know that mom's at home.
Speaker 2 (02:54):
They love to have human interaction with adults at some
point during the day. Just make sure you always hold
her on that way, you know, do some special things
and give her the credit that she deserves. I love
that you called to shine a light on her for
that that job that she has.
Speaker 6 (03:08):

Well that was Shina Light eight hundred and two ninety
two fifty one fifty. In case you couldn't get through,
you can always leave a message and shine a light
that way. And when we come back, we have your
YEA T. And let's talk about the girl group Flow.
They've been called out by a former stylist and that's
because they allegedly owe some money and it's not a
small amount.
Speaker 1 (03:32):
We'll talk about it.
Speaker 2 (03:33):
It's way up, they say in the rooms from industry shade.
Speaker 5 (03:37):
To all of gossip out send angelas speeling that.
Speaker 1 (03:40):
Yet, what's up this way?
Speaker 2 (03:43):
You put angela yea in. It's time for your YEA T.
First off, let's talk about Flow. Now they're stylists or
should I say former stylist. It's saying that they owe
her sixty seven thousand dollars. Now this is all unfolded
over on X fans. We're questioning Flow's recent outfit. It's
somebody says stylis got them dressed like bridgeton hookers and
(04:04):
another person said that they should work with their former stylist,
Lee Trigg, and then Georgia responded, I don't. And that's
when the former stylist during the conversation and said said
that this is the only response I've gotten in almost
a year of chasing them and their team for over
sixty seven thousand dollars in unpaid fees, expenses, late fees.
Speaker 1 (04:22):
Please reply to my lawyers.
Speaker 2 (04:24):
Then Lee went on to provide the receipts and also
say I've been trying to handle this the right way
privately for over a year now, have hired lawyers saying
countless emails. I just want to be paid for the
work I've done, not trolled online. And on the positive
side of things, the Global Citizens Festival is coming on
September twenty seventh in Central Park in New York, and
they have announced that The Weekend of Shakira are going
(04:46):
to be headlining alongside Tyler Iris Star and Mariah the Scientists.
Speaker 1 (04:50):
That's a pretty damn good lineup, don't you think, Dan.
Speaker 3 (04:52):
That's amazing, especially the weekend.
Speaker 1 (04:55):
Oh my god, you love the weekend so much.
Speaker 2 (04:57):
I want to say this though, Why am I so
excited from Mariah the Scientist, and I do really like
Iristar and Tyler as well, So that's going to be
a really great one this week. You know that festival
has a long, amazing history and I was actually at
Global Citizens now recently in Detroit. They did that for
the first time. So just love the work that they're doing.
All right, Well that is your yet when we come back.
(05:19):
You know, Jamain Dupree is on Lift Service this week
talking about this Magic City docu series that's coming to Stars.
But he and Gigi know each other in Atlanta and
so they got some great stories.
Speaker 1 (05:29):
We have some of them for you. It's way up
here we go up.
Speaker 4 (05:34):
This is way up with Angela ye.
Speaker 1 (05:37):
What's up? His way up with Angela Yee.
Speaker 2 (05:39):
And as I already told you, our episode on lip
Service with Jamaine Dupri is out right now. Our girl
JJ Maguire from Lip Service is also narrating and she's
a producer on the series is coming to Stars.
Speaker 1 (05:50):
But Jamaine dupri talked about a lot of different things.
Speaker 2 (05:53):
First of all, the legendary White Chocolate Apparently that was
his favorite dancer. Here's what he had to say, and
he brought her name several times.
Speaker 7 (06:01):
White Chocolate was the body that everybody wanted like. She
was the first girl that actually looked like the BBL situation.
Yeah real, and she was dancing, so it wasn't It
wasn't like just there.
Speaker 6 (06:17):
You know.
Speaker 2 (06:19):
What the documentary you get to see like you looked
like in the beginning with Magic.
Speaker 1 (06:26):
They first open she.
Speaker 2 (06:27):
Is the girl from the Tip Drill video who nearly
swiped the black card down her. But in addition to that,
he talked about Magic City is not just a strip club.
It's a place where you can go to clear your mind.
Here's what he had to say.
Speaker 4 (06:39):
It helps you.
Speaker 1 (06:40):
Clear your mind.
Speaker 7 (06:41):
Like I could be going like through a long day
like today, I had all this press.
Speaker 4 (06:46):
If I could go to Magic City, it just relaxed me.
Speaker 1 (06:50):
But don't you obligated to have to throw money when
you go?
Speaker 4 (06:53):
No, No, it's a secret to this. You don't have
to stand in that age.
Speaker 7 (06:57):
You can walk around the club, go to the djy,
go talk to the waitresses at the bar.
Speaker 4 (07:02):
You don't have to spend in.
Speaker 7 (07:03):
It and stay in the fish.
Speaker 2 (07:06):
But you can check out that full episode on my
personal YouTube channel, Angela Yee. It's also on our iHeartRadio app.
You know we got the most and the best podcast.
And when we come back, we got your y e t.
And this is interesting this lawsuit with David Geffen. Now
David Geffen is worthing nine billion dollars and got married
to a thirty two year old man with no pre
(07:27):
nup and now this man is suing him.
Speaker 1 (07:29):
We'll tell you what that lawsuit is about. Its way
up the show.
Speaker 4 (07:32):
She's about to blow the lead ab off this bot.
Let's get it. Angela's villain that yee t. Come and
get your tea.
Speaker 2 (07:39):
What's up his way up with Angela yee And it
is time for your yee t. Now I told you guys,
we're gonna talk about David Geffen and the model that
he married, Donovan Michaels. David Geffen FYI is one of
the founders of dream Works, but he also owns a
bunch of real estate in la and he had Geffen Records.
He started off as an intern working in the mill
room at William Morris. But right now he's an eighty
(08:02):
two year old man who is married to a thirty
two year old man with no prenup.
Speaker 1 (08:07):
And that man, Donovan Michaels is suing.
Speaker 2 (08:10):
According to Donovan Michaels, he had a nine year relationship
with David Geffen. They've been married for two years before
breaking up. They met on a website called Seeking Arrangements
dot com. David Geffen paid him ten thousand dollars for
sex on their first night, according to the lawsuit, that
was back in twenty sixteen, and over time their paid
(08:31):
sexual relationship turned into an actual partnership. In twenty twenty three,
the two of them got married without a prenup and
according to Donovan Michaels, he then had to deal with
a whole lot that you have no idea. For example,
he says that David Geffen forced him to have all
of his body here removed with laser hair removal he
said was extremely painful. Also, he made him have all
(08:52):
of these different dental treatments. And he also feels that
David Geffen took advantage of his background. He was an
orphan since eighteen months old and dealt with a lot
of childhood trauma. According to this lawsuit, Donovan Michaels who
underwent a lot of abuse that was perpetrated by David
Geffen as well as his proclivities.
Speaker 1 (09:09):
I do feel like there's a.
Speaker 2 (09:11):
Book coming, but we will keep you updated on everything
that's going on with this lawsuit between David Geffen and
his now ex husband Donovan Michaels. One thing I know
for sure, this was great advertising for Seeking Arrangements dot Com.
Speaker 1 (09:24):
All right, well that is your ut. And when we
come back, we have under the Radar.
Speaker 2 (09:27):
These are the stories that are flying under the radar,
but you definitely need to know about them.
Speaker 5 (09:31):
It's way up position the news that relates to you.
These stories are flying under the radar.
Speaker 1 (09:37):
What's up?
Speaker 2 (09:37):
Its way up at the angela yea, and it's time
for your under the radar stories.
Speaker 1 (09:40):
And today we're talking about Uber.
Speaker 2 (09:42):
They've launched the Women Preferences feature in the United States.
That means you can actually, as a women writer, met
with a woman driver. This is rolling out in La
San Francisco and Detroit in the coming weeks. It's part
of a pilot program. According to Camille Irving, who is
the VP of operations for Uber in the US and Canada,
she said, when we make our platform better for women,
(10:02):
we make it better for everyone. After hearing from women
riders and drivers around the world, it was clear many
want the option to match with other women. Now, I'm
gonna be honest with you all, this is not something
that I necessarily have thought about before. But safety is
definitely an issue when it comes to getting into a
car with a stranger. My mom I always try to
call ubers for her and she's always like, I don't
(10:23):
feel safe. I don't feel safe. What do you think
about this option?
Speaker 6 (10:25):
Now?
Speaker 2 (10:25):
Dan?
Speaker 3 (10:26):
I do love it. My only concern is there enough
female uber drivers?
Speaker 6 (10:30):
Right?
Speaker 1 (10:30):
Are you willing to wait forty five minutes?
Speaker 3 (10:32):
Exactly exactly?
Speaker 2 (10:34):
I was saying the same thing early because it's very rare.
Speaker 1 (10:35):
That I get a woman driver.
Speaker 2 (10:37):
The other thing is what happens if a man requests
a woman driver.
Speaker 3 (10:40):
I think it's going to be tied to your account,
where it's going to know you're a woman.
Speaker 2 (10:43):
You're going to have to change your does this say
on there if you're on your account, if you're a
man or a woman, because you also could put anything
right like, how do they know? But anyway that is
you're under the radar? Are there some things we still
need to work out?
Speaker 1 (10:56):
All right? Well, it is a Thursday. We got the
way it mixed for you?
Speaker 2 (10:58):
At the top of the hour plus a lot more
later and I'm heading out to Detroit getting ready for
this Clarissa Shields fight in the Little Caesars Arena.
Speaker 1 (11:06):
It's way up.
Speaker 2 (11:08):
It's like the talk like they Angelie Jean, like they
Angelie Jean.
Speaker 4 (11:12):
And she's spilling it all. This is yea t.
Speaker 2 (11:15):
Way, what's up his way up at angela yee and
it's time for your yee te well. According to Blast,
Will Smith is reportedly getting rid of some of his
properties because he needs the cash to keep up with
all of his enormous bills.
Speaker 1 (11:30):
His earnings have seemingly taken a downturn since.
Speaker 2 (11:32):
That thing that happened with him and Chris Rock on
the Oscars in March of twenty twenty two, so they
are saying that he sold a five bedroom Maryland mansion
he has also listed at Woodland Hills home earlier in
the year, and an insider is predicting that they cannot
hold out for much longer in the face of their
increasingly difficult situation, which has become challenging. And then, according
(11:54):
to Radar Online, the two of them, Will and Jada
are not on the same page about continuing as a
union and looking like they may split up. As a
matter of fact, they even live in different homes. I
also kind of feel like his comeback to music didn't
go as planned. What do you think, Dan No, I
think it wasn't embraced the way he may have anticipated.
Speaker 1 (12:14):
All right.
Speaker 2 (12:15):
Laverne Cox recently was on Live and that is because
she's promoting her upcoming New York show, Laverne Cox, Girl, How.
Speaker 1 (12:21):
Did I get here?
Speaker 2 (12:22):
And she got a lot of backlash for talking about
the person who she dated. She met him during the
height of the pandemic, and it feels like opposite of
where her morals and values are.
Speaker 8 (12:31):
Here's what she said, my ex boyfriend when we met
five years ago at the head of the pandemic.
Speaker 3 (12:38):
He was three six, I was forty eight.
Speaker 8 (12:40):
He is a blonde hair, blue eyed, Maga Republican voter
who is a New.
Speaker 3 (12:47):
York City police officer. We were madly in love.
Speaker 1 (12:50):
That is interesting.
Speaker 2 (12:51):
She said she would consider leave in the country after
Donald Trump got re elected, but then you dated somebody
who was like a Maga Donald Trump supporter.
Speaker 1 (13:00):
I think that's so strange.
Speaker 3 (13:01):
That is quite the hypocrisy right there. But ange, I
don't know if you saw she did respond to the backlash.
Speaker 8 (13:06):
I never adopted any of my ex's politics. I always
challenged him and with love and empathy and tried to
listen to his perspectives. And I wanted to see if
it was possible to have a relationship with someone with
different political beliefs in theory, but like it was just
(13:27):
I fell in love with the human being.
Speaker 2 (13:29):
All right, And again, Malcolm Jamal Warner. We got to
give our condolences to his family. According to reports, his
body will be returning to la after it was released
to his family following the autopsy. As we reported previously,
he died at the age of fifty four from an
accidental drowning in Costa Rica.
Speaker 3 (13:47):
It also came out that he was swimming with his
eight year old daughter and unfortunately she was able to
be saved, but he was not.
Speaker 1 (13:54):
Really tragic.
Speaker 2 (13:55):
That touched a lot of people, when I tell you
who It's something that I was on vacation when I
heard about that, and it really did make me think
about the fact that I don't know how to swim,
but also even if you do, how dangerous things can
be in the water and unexpected accidents like this can happen.
Speaker 1 (14:11):
So our condolences to his family. That is your ute.
Speaker 2 (14:15):
When we come back, we have asked ye eight hundred
two ninety two fifty one fifty.
Speaker 1 (14:19):
Call us up. Any question you have. I'm here to
help you out. It's way up.
Speaker 5 (14:22):
Okay, everybody, since whether it's relationship or career advice, Angela's
dropping facts, you should know.
Speaker 4 (14:29):
This is ask ye.
Speaker 1 (14:30):
What's up? Its way up with Angela?
Speaker 2 (14:32):
Ye, and it's time for ask Ye eight hundred two
ninety two fifty one fifty. If you have a question,
of course, I'm here to help you out. Hey, Kenneth,
what's your question for? Ask ye?
Speaker 7 (14:42):
My relationship is real, real rockey right now, man, and
I don't know if I need to leave where I
need to stay.
Speaker 1 (14:48):
Now, Well, what's the problem.
Speaker 7 (14:50):
Everything is just something that's trying to better man to
my woman?
Speaker 8 (14:54):
Paul?
Speaker 2 (14:54):
Okay, well, what what makes you not a great man
to your woman that you need to do better?
Speaker 4 (14:59):
Honestly?
Speaker 7 (15:00):
Would think that I need to slow down on things
like drinking and things of that made.
Speaker 2 (15:04):
First, okay, you think you have like an alcohol abuse problem.
Speaker 6 (15:08):
I don't want to you know what, No one wants to.
Speaker 2 (15:11):
Fat and that's how they know you have a problem
when you won't admit it too, is what they say,
right you, right about that now?
Speaker 7 (15:17):
But you know, I use the alcohol to kind of
cold with the problems and things of.
Speaker 2 (15:21):
That nature, right, because you know, the first step to
get in help is to many that there's something you
need help with, ma'am. And look, I appreciate that you
can call up here and be self reflective and know
that about yourself, and it's not an easy thing to say,
but just know that if you don't say it, you're not.
Speaker 1 (15:37):
Going to deal with it.
Speaker 6 (15:38):
Right about that now, be right?
Speaker 2 (15:40):
So I really suggest that you find a treatment center
where you can go get help and don't feel bad
that you can't do it alone.
Speaker 1 (15:48):
It's a disease.
Speaker 2 (15:49):
Just like if you were sick and you have to
go to the hospital and get treated for it. This
is something that you may need to get some treatment
for and it can honestly positively improve all aspects of
your life. Like you said, there's a root cause of this,
and it's something that you're using to escape from other
issues that you're having and it's probably making things even worse.
Speaker 6 (16:10):
You're right about that, ma'am.
Speaker 2 (16:11):
All right, Well, listen, There's a lot of different places
where you can go to for help. You can call
one eight hundred sixty six to help, but when I
promise you, it's a no judgment zone. And this is
something that you need to find the right tools to
be able to cope with this. I just know that
your woman will also be very proud of the fact
(16:31):
that you went and started to get help for this
and be supportive because if she loves you, she wants
what's best for you.
Speaker 4 (16:38):
Okay, you right about that?
Speaker 2 (16:40):
You know, I think you know what you need to do,
and I know it's hard to take those first steps,
but once you do, you'll be glad that you did.
Speaker 7 (16:46):
That's fucking I'm gonna look into too.
Speaker 6 (16:48):
I'm gonna look into that a self too, ma'am.
Speaker 4 (16:50):
As far as we.
Speaker 6 (16:51):
Were out the phone, things that nature to look into
starting today.
Speaker 1 (16:56):
I appreciate that.
Speaker 2 (16:57):
Can you call back and check in with me too, please, folks,
definitely can now.
Speaker 1 (17:01):
I would love that. And if it makes you feel better.
Speaker 2 (17:03):
The cost of alcohol because of these tiers is so high,
it's going to save you some money too.
Speaker 4 (17:07):
You right about that, right about that? Right you? Right
about that?
Speaker 2 (17:13):
Let's listen We're about to start drinking plenty of water
and be a house'll thank you for calling, and I'm
really I pray for you too, because i know you
can do this.
Speaker 4 (17:23):
All right.
Speaker 6 (17:23):
Thank you, ma'am.
Speaker 4 (17:24):
Man.
Speaker 6 (17:24):
Please keep me your players, man. I will keep you
with everything now.
Speaker 1 (17:28):
I cannot wait to hear from you. Thank you for calling.
Speaker 6 (17:31):
All right, You're welcome out, all right.
Speaker 2 (17:33):
But that was ask ye eight hundred two nine two
fifty one fifty. Just in case you couldn't get through,
you can always leave a message and ask a question
that way. And when we come back, I'm headed out
to Detroit today and let's talk a little bit about
what's going on with Clarisa Shields.
Speaker 1 (17:46):
Its way up.
Speaker 5 (17:46):
We about to do this one of lemos and famous
women in radio audio.
Speaker 4 (17:50):
We're talking about angela Ye. You're way up with angela ye.
Please believe that.
Speaker 1 (17:54):
What's up his way up at the Angela yee.
Speaker 2 (17:56):
And I'm about to head out to Detroit and you
know we're going out there for the Clarissa Shields fight.
She's stay in the news, by the way, and it's
not always just about boxing, but what is about boxing
is that she has said that she's got this fifteen
million dollars together to fight Muhammad Ali's daughter Leila Ali.
According to her, her team put up that fifteen million
dollars because she said she would do it for fifteen million.
Speaker 1 (18:17):
Is that something you want to see?
Speaker 4 (18:18):
Dan?
Speaker 3 (18:19):
Absolutely?
Speaker 1 (18:20):
Okay?
Speaker 3 (18:20):
Why not? Because also that's the type of thing that
just needs to happen so it can.
Speaker 2 (18:23):
Be over with, right And you know what Clarissa Shields
right now, I think she's probably I mean, we've seen
some big boxing with the women, you know that just
happened the Netflix one with Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano,
which didn't go the way I wanted it to. And
also Savannah Marshall is saying that she believes that the
Clarissa Shields rematch would be big for her as well.
(18:44):
She said she really wants that fight. And I bet
you Clarissa shield wants that too. I've never heard her
say no to something.
Speaker 1 (18:50):
All right.
Speaker 2 (18:51):
Now, let's also talk about Clarisa Shields putting out some
music at the same time. She actually had a listening
session at Parlay last night. That's a shout out to
everybody at Parlay. That is one of my favorite places
to go when I'm in Detroit. So you know, not
only is she fighting this Saturday, and I'm gonna be
at that fight at Little Caesars Arena, She's also hosting
(19:12):
album listening parties.
Speaker 1 (19:14):
