Speaker 1 (00:01):
You are.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
What I call her yee?
Speaker 3 (00:13):
Yeah, what up?
Speaker 4 (00:13):
It's way up with Angela Yee and Happy Thursday. I'm
getting ready for the weekend. This weekend I am gonna
go to Atlantic City and see Jeram Boots Ennis fight
against stan Jonis. So I'm excited for that. Shout out
to them. And you know what's exciting that's happening tomorrow
and Saturday here in Brooklyn. Vibes Cartel is performing in
(00:36):
the United States.
Speaker 3 (00:37):
It's been a long time coming. And when I tell
you they have to add a show at the Barclays.
Speaker 4 (00:42):
It's about to be wild. So we are getting ready
for that. But let's start the show off with some
love and some positivity. Let's shine a light eight hundred
two ninety two fifty one fifty Call us up. Let
us know who you would like to shine a light on.
Speaker 1 (00:54):
Is well, turn your lights on, y'all, britt to those
who are doing greatness, the shine light on them. It's
time to shine a.
Speaker 4 (01:07):
Light on what's up his way up at Angela Yee
and it's time to shine a light. And I want
to get this day started with shining a light on
somebody who she's amazing. She has her own communications brand,
her own company, her own agency, and it's called the
Young Group, and that.
Speaker 3 (01:23):
Is Ayana Young. She's the founder of it.
Speaker 4 (01:25):
She has fourteen years in the communications industry and she
has led projects for brands like Hennessey and Saint Lucia, Wait, Watchers,
b Et, Black Girls Rock. But she has her own
company right now, and she's actually the one that works
with USBI, which is the reason why we went to
Carnival last year and why we're going back this year.
(01:48):
But she's just really dope as a person. It's nice
when you can work alongside people who you feel like
are amazing. And she also has her own cannabis brand too,
so you know, we like to see that diversity. So
shout out to the Higher Collection brand and to my girl,
Ayana Young.
Speaker 3 (02:02):
Now, who do you guys want to shine a light on?
Speaker 4 (02:04):
Eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty Hey Makai,
what's up?
Speaker 5 (02:08):
Hey?
Speaker 6 (02:09):
Good morning?
Speaker 3 (02:09):
Good morning? Who do you want to shine a light on?
Speaker 6 (02:12):
I don't bin at gonna lie, but this morning I
want to shout myself out. I just self published and
released my book. It's called I wrote this book to
heal myself. If anybody is going through greed or a loss.
I lost my mom a couple of years ago, so
it's greed from a real perspective, they can understand it.
Speaker 4 (02:25):
Oh wow, I wrote this book to heal myself and
talk to me about that process.
Speaker 3 (02:30):
How was that for you?
Speaker 6 (02:32):
It was tough, Like I literally when I lost my mom,
it was all of a sudden. I went through a
lot of trauma with my family, and you know, I
really it took me two years before I started the
grief process. So I really took it through each stage
of everything I felt and wrote it out all my thoughts,
my feelings, you know. So it was definitely a nod
to myself and my mom. I couldn't have did it
without her and my awesome wife.
Speaker 4 (02:53):
Okay, and how can people find this book? Is it
just is it available like on Amazon?
Speaker 6 (02:57):
Or yes, it's available on Amazon. Again, I wrote this
book to heal myself by Mikai Maxie.
Speaker 3 (03:03):
All right, well, congratulations and I'm glad that you've been healing.
Speaker 6 (03:06):
Thank you so much. Angela, y'all have a great day.
Speaker 3 (03:08):
All right you too.
Speaker 4 (03:09):
That was Shina Light eight hundred and two ninety two
fifty one fifty if you couldn't get through, you could
always leave a message and shina lights for less where
we're spreading that love. And when we come back, we
have your yee t. And let's talk about Stephen A.
Speaker 3 (03:20):
Smith.
Speaker 4 (03:21):
He has no problem with these tariffs. He just doesn't
like how Donald Trump is doing it. We'll tell you
what he had to say, and we'll give you some
information on tariffs too and how it all works.
Speaker 3 (03:30):
It's way up, they.
Speaker 6 (03:31):
Says in the rooms.
Speaker 1 (03:33):
From industry shade to all of gossip out send angelas
feeling that Yet what's his way up?
Speaker 3 (03:40):
At angela yee and it's time for your yet now.
Stephen A.
Speaker 4 (03:43):
Smith recently was talking about these tariffs and why he
is a fan of implementing these tarriffs even though he
doesn't like how Donald Trump is doing it.
Speaker 3 (03:51):
Here's what he said.
Speaker 7 (03:52):
Let me be the first to say this about Donald Trump.
Speaker 2 (03:55):
I support tariffs.
Speaker 7 (03:56):
I have no problem with it. I do believe that
the United States is really paying too much money. You
go to foreign countries, you see people they talk about
how you don't see American vehicles. You don't see American
products nearly as much as you see other products from
other nations.
Speaker 2 (04:08):
If that is true, then Trump is right. We are
getting hold.
Speaker 7 (04:11):
I am not averse to Donald Trump with tariffs. What
I'm averse to is how he's handling it. Now, only
Tom will tell wether Trump's right. But it's a short time.
Speaker 2 (04:21):
I don't want to hear a year. We can't afford that. Well.
Speaker 4 (04:23):
I did a little deep dive into it and what
economists have to say, and what they said is about
this deficit because we do actually import more than we export.
But economists say there's a fundamental misunderstanding of what having
a trade deficit with another country actually means, and a
deficit says little about the state of a country's economy.
The good thing is that it means that we actually
(04:46):
are big consumers, which is great for the economy. And
some of these other countries like China that are really
big on exporting, they don't have that. So they said,
as a whole, we generally benefit from this arrangement when
it comes to having a strong demand for goods in
your country. So I think right now, the way it's
being looked at is having a trade deficit is bad,
(05:07):
but what it actually means is that we actually are
big consumers, which is great for the economy, so really
not such a big problem. Some countries have large trade surpluses,
but that means is they have relatively lower rates of
domestic consumption.
Speaker 3 (05:20):
Just something to think about, all right.
Speaker 4 (05:21):
Another thing to think about is Chloe Kardashian is not
happy about Lamar Odom having a sex doll that looks
like her. It's actually a little creepy. On the finale
of The Kardashian Show on Hulu, here's what she had
to say.
Speaker 5 (05:33):
I found out about Lamar's blow up doll. I think
the same way any of us found out. It was
on the Internet. Not sure why that's something we are
publicly talking about.
Speaker 3 (05:44):
I'm supposed to be flattered by this. It's more man.
Speaker 5 (05:48):
This validates just how different we are and how much
we've grown apart. And it's creepy and it's weird, but
I'm not hurt by it. That's more his journey. It's
more weird and growth.
Speaker 4 (05:58):
It is creepy to know that your ex has a
sex do all of you and has publicly told everybody
about it, which is why she can publicly comment on it.
And that was your ut sponsor by soccany you know,
I love some socony, and when we come back, we
have about last night. That's where we discussed what we
did last night. I actually was outside my detox now
is over. I was actually supposed to ease back into
(06:19):
eating and did not. All right, but I can tell
and share with you guys. It's way up this night.
Speaker 1 (06:25):
So about last night, Yes, I went down.
Speaker 4 (06:32):
What's up his way up at Angela yee, And it's
time for about last night.
Speaker 3 (06:35):
Now, y'all know.
Speaker 4 (06:37):
I did the detax now, which a lot of people
have done this detax now detox with me. It's been
amazing and helpful. But I definitely felt I got to
get back up. Yesterday. We're supposed to ease back into eating.
I was actually at Continent, which is a restaurant in Brooklyn.
Shout out to my girl Aliyah, who also owns Alia.
(06:57):
It's in the same building and hotel in the go.
But anyway, I definitely went there and had dinner and
had drinks and everything, and I don't know, y'all, I
felt a little guilty after because I'm like, I'm supposed
to be eating certain things to get back into it.
I'm trying to get myself together. Saint Thomas Carnival is
coming up, you know, the summer's coming up. So I'm
(07:19):
trying to be good and I'm also trying to change
my eating habits.
Speaker 3 (07:22):
But I'm not gonna beat.
Speaker 4 (07:23):
Myself up about it. And that's what I have to do, right.
I have to realize that I haven't been drinking as
much lately, not at all, basically, for like except one
time at Dan's wedding.
Speaker 3 (07:33):
That's the only time I drank. But my producer got married.
Speaker 4 (07:36):
So you know, shout out to the good food though,
and it makes you appreciate it so much more, but
also realize we don't need to overeat. Sometimes we eat
until the plate is done even though we're full, or
we just keep on ordering appetizers or other people ordering
food because they definitely brought over dessert and definitely ate
that too. But I'm gonna do beat at y'all, and
now it's the time to make it happen. But anyway,
(07:56):
that's my about last night. I also made sure I
went home because I knew Vibes Hoartel was coming today,
so I wanted to make sure that I was on point,
all right, because that's a big deal. We got the
world boss here and you know what, I'm gonna give
you all a preview later on in the show.
Speaker 3 (08:09):
How do you feel about that?
Speaker 4 (08:10):
And we'll do the full interview tomorrow because Vibes Cartel
is here for two sold out shows in Brooklyn at
the Barclays is way up.
Speaker 1 (08:17):
Addition, the news that relates to you, these stories are
flying under the radar, all right.
Speaker 3 (08:22):
As way up with Angela.
Speaker 4 (08:24):
Yee, I'm way up of course, mainos here you ready
for some under the radar stories all right? Prada has
acquired versace from Carpre Holdings. The deal is valued at
one point three seven five billion dollars, So that's Prada
and Versacei together, two really big Italian fashion brands. Now,
(08:45):
Versacei is currently operating at a loss, so they're expected
to benefit from Praduct's platform and from that investment strategy,
and they're going to borrow two hundred and fifty million
euros to support the relaunch of Versacei.
Speaker 2 (08:57):
They gotta change that print.
Speaker 8 (08:59):
Though the Versati prind Yeah, I mean like some of
that they gotta change started.
Speaker 3 (09:04):
To look a little, you know what.
Speaker 4 (09:05):
I have bought a couple of items from the Fendacci,
the Fendi and Versace together.
Speaker 3 (09:13):
You never see Fandacci. Okay, I actually like Versace so
this and I like Proda too.
Speaker 2 (09:18):
I love product. I'm not a huge fan of say.
Speaker 3 (09:23):
And Versati robes everybody.
Speaker 4 (09:24):
I feel like I had a versachie, you know what,
I man? I like fok Sacci though, what is foksaci?
Speaker 2 (09:31):
Folksachi?
Speaker 3 (09:32):
What's that from Friday? Oh? Oh my gosh, get out
of here all right now.
Speaker 4 (09:38):
As we're getting ready for these tariffs, the CEO of
Amazon says to expect prices to rise depending what country
you're in. You don't have a fifty percent extra margin
that you can play with, and so they said, Amazon
is doing everything we can to try and keep prices
the way they've been for customers as low as possible.
The company has done some strategic forward inventory buys and
(10:01):
has renegotiated terms with sellers so that customers have lower prices.
So they said, right now, they haven't seen changes in
customer behavior in a meaningful way, but they did notice
that some people are buying ahead because there's some things
that they're telling you that you need to stockpile. And
customers are also getting more careful and whatever they can
trade down on price they do. Whenever they can find
a bargain, they do. So we are preparing. I saw
(10:24):
everybody putting out these lists of things you should stockpile
as we're expecting these tariffs to kick in, like an
iPhone if you want to get a new iPhone. All right,
And one more update on the Dominican Republic. This deadly
incident that happened at the jet Set nightclub. Now they
are saying the official count so far and they're still
doing recovery because they're not even expecting to pull people
(10:47):
alive from the rubble anymore, anybody that is unaccounted for.
Rescue workers are now still coming through the remains of
the nightclub after this happened. So they are saying that
the death toll right now is two hund in eighteen people.
Speaker 3 (11:01):
That is so awful.
Speaker 4 (11:03):
Again, I want to give my condolences to the families
and to the people who are suffering from that loss.
But right now that count again is at two hundred
and eighteen people. That's one of the most famous venues
and their Monday night events are very well attended. We
know there were a lot of people that were out there,
and the club holds up to five hundred people, so
they still don't know what caused that roof to collapse.
Speaker 3 (11:26):
All right, this is all sponsored by Socony. I got
to because you all keep saying Seconi.
Speaker 4 (11:33):
I gotta think, what did you say in the day.
I did say Secony, you're right, but it is socony.
Speaker 3 (11:38):
All right. We got the way Up mixed. At the
top of the hour.
Speaker 4 (11:40):
Plus I already told you Vibes Cartel is going to
be joining us tomorrow in full, but we have a
snippet for you because he's performing tomorrow and Brooklyn sold
out shows at the Barclays. They've added Miami on as well.
But we had a nice sit down.
Speaker 3 (11:56):
What do you call him, Vibes?
Speaker 4 (11:59):
No, you're lying, yeah, yes, yes, yes, all right.
Speaker 3 (12:04):
His way up. She's like to talk like the Angel Jean,
like they ANGELI Jean, and.
Speaker 1 (12:10):
She's spilling it all. This is yeaky way up.
Speaker 3 (12:15):
It's way up. At end of the ye countdown to
Mano's wedding.
Speaker 4 (12:18):
Yes, right, and let's get into this yea ti So
Ray j He is responding to Brandy, who told him,
you know, Ray, you gotta do better than this, right,
and he said, my sister hates who I am, and
all I'm doing is being myself.
Speaker 3 (12:34):
I don't know how to be better than who I am.
Speaker 4 (12:36):
I try, but I get depressed trying to change when
I don't have my wife anymore and I have no stability.
I'm sorry to my sister for who I am and
my mom. I don't give an f about nobody else's feelings.
But anyway, this all happened after he was streaming. He
called up Kaysanat who's streaming, and said that he wants
(12:57):
to be invited to the next sleepover.
Speaker 3 (12:59):
Here's what he said.
Speaker 8 (13:00):
So, y'all took showers together, right, No, but we be
separated with Simmon trunks.
Speaker 1 (13:05):
That's what I mean. Y'all have sleepovers before, right, yeah?
Speaker 2 (13:09):
But nothing like that.
Speaker 1 (13:10):
Like I want to sleep too, I know.
Speaker 3 (13:13):
And y'all was in the shower. Y'all took a shower together.
Speaker 7 (13:16):
I'm like, I take a shower with them, of course
with clothes on.
Speaker 1 (13:19):
Bro, you know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (13:20):
Uncle? Can I call you?
Speaker 4 (13:22):
You could call me uncle?
Speaker 1 (13:24):
Like the next sleepover?
Speaker 3 (13:25):
Like, if I'm not invited, it's cool, I just be
heard about it.
Speaker 2 (13:28):
But I want to sleep in the band tool.
Speaker 1 (13:32):
I don't mean you, I mean I want my own bunk.
Speaker 9 (13:34):
Kenvin Hart got a bunk, Trukey got a bunk.
Speaker 1 (13:37):
This a big This's a big night.
Speaker 6 (13:39):
I want to sleep too.
Speaker 3 (13:40):
My Nay, you can go to the sleepove.
Speaker 2 (13:44):
No, not at all. I'm good.
Speaker 3 (13:45):
You wouldn't, not even in your own bunk.
Speaker 2 (13:47):
I'm cool.
Speaker 3 (13:48):
What if it was to help find your wife?
Speaker 2 (13:50):
No, it's sir, right, all right?
Speaker 4 (13:53):
Well, Brandy hasn't responded to his uh what he had
to say. I feel like rey J be going through
a lot in his head. Though he does because he's funny,
but then he has these moments and you know that's
tough to see.
Speaker 3 (14:05):
So always checking on ray J. All right?
Speaker 4 (14:08):
Now, Nicki Minad she is the latest target in a
swatting call. A law enforcement personnel swarmed her property in La.
They said, shortly after seven pm yesterday, there was a
call reporting in assault at her residence and deputies rush
to the scene.
Speaker 3 (14:22):
People got to stop playing like this because we saw
something about that. Because what happened to you, seeing.
Speaker 4 (14:27):
What happened in that situation, the last thing you want
is something else like that, all right.
Speaker 3 (14:32):
And so the report was that there was.
Speaker 4 (14:36):
A shooting a black woman at Nikki's address and two
people were still at the scene, and then the later
on they realized that call was swatting. Y'all got to
stop playing and people, no, she was not. People do
need to be held accountable when things like this happened,
because it could end in a tragedy, as we've seen.
Speaker 3 (14:52):
All right, now, we.
Speaker 4 (14:54):
Talked yesterday about cash Doll. She was on with Kiki
Palmer and talking about Tracy T. She did say that
he heated on her and she didn't want her daughter clarity,
that's what gave her the clarity to move on. Well,
Tracy T was on The Just and the Boy Show
and he talked about a few different things.
Speaker 3 (15:09):
He talked about cash down.
Speaker 4 (15:11):
Moving on, and you know, it seems like he's accepted
the fact that she's moved on, But he was planning
to propose.
Speaker 3 (15:20):
Here's what happened.
Speaker 2 (15:21):
So now I just want to ask you, like why
didn't you get married? Like why didn't you propose to
cash All? You know what I'm saying, ihead a ring.
Speaker 3 (15:28):
Oh why I still got a fat ass ring?
Speaker 2 (15:32):
You proposed, nain't proposed.
Speaker 1 (15:35):
So you just bought a big ass ring because I.
Speaker 2 (15:37):
Was going proposed.
Speaker 8 (15:39):
I was just kind of trying to stabilize everything before
we take another step up in life.
Speaker 1 (15:43):
And you never made it to that next level.
Speaker 2 (15:44):
Yeah, but you still got the ring. Yeah, is that
something you'd be open to?
Speaker 4 (15:48):
Man, I'm far to go, goddamn pull some mold diamonds, piggy.
Speaker 3 (15:52):
Ring because you can't give it.
Speaker 2 (15:55):
To someone else, shut out to Tracy.
Speaker 4 (15:56):
And a lot of times they don't let you return
those like when you welcome Yeah, and I'm saying you
can't anyway.
Speaker 2 (16:02):
Yeah, he was with us the other night. He was
here hanging out with us.
Speaker 4 (16:05):
Okay, all right, all right, well maybe he can. You
can use the ring for your wife and that is
your YET. And when we come back, we have ASKI
and you know that YET is sponsored by Soceny. Of
course it is stop is soccer, Okay, ask ye. It's
next eight hundred two nine to two fifty one fifty.
(16:25):
If you need advice, I'm here with the award winning
advice giver Mano. And don't forget we got a little
vibes Cartel or, as he says, a lick of vibes
Cartel on the way.
Speaker 3 (16:33):

Speaker 1 (16:34):
Relationship for career advice Angela's dropping facts? Should you should know?

Speaker 4 (16:41):

Speaker 3 (16:45):

Speaker 2 (16:47):

Speaker 3 (16:48):
Best person who you are? But we got Brandon on
the line. What's that? Brandon?
Speaker 2 (16:52):

Speaker 6 (16:53):
As I'm in this long different relationship, I.
Speaker 1 (16:57):
Just I guess, So what's the time.
Speaker 6 (16:59):
Well, I don't know about what?
Speaker 2 (17:00):
Move on and stop talking for her or continue to
talk to her.
Speaker 4 (17:03):
Well, so because she's moving, you want to break up
with her?
Speaker 7 (17:07):
No, she's not playing a movie and I don't plan
on movie.
Speaker 4 (17:11):
You're both not gonna move apart, Man.
Speaker 6 (17:15):
We a whole day a way.
Speaker 7 (17:16):
She lived in Phoenix, Arizona, and where you live at
I'm in Chicago.
Speaker 8 (17:20):
I mean that's not that bad because you get to
have other girls like that you deal with and she
won't even know.
Speaker 3 (17:25):
But why why won't you? Why won't you move? And
why won't she move?
Speaker 2 (17:30):
Like?
Speaker 3 (17:30):
What's the reason?
Speaker 2 (17:31):
Me?
Speaker 1 (17:31):
Personally?
Speaker 2 (17:31):
I don't know.
Speaker 6 (17:32):
I want to be out there. I know I don't
want to be out there one time.
Speaker 2 (17:36):
I don't want to move to Chicago, but I didn't
think about, you know, my move out there.
Speaker 1 (17:40):
You know, of course, you know, she just she moved back.
Speaker 6 (17:43):
She lived back here before, and she don't want to
come back out here.
Speaker 3 (17:47):
That's fair.
Speaker 2 (17:47):
I think she don't. She don't want to be out here.
Speaker 6 (17:49):
But me personally, I don't have no fun that I
don't want to.
Speaker 2 (17:53):
But you are still you are still in love with
Hardo right. Yeah.
Speaker 6 (17:57):
I love her and I like them everything, the person
just the only thing at the long distance.
Speaker 2 (18:02):
I don't see what the problem is.
Speaker 8 (18:04):
I mean, you see her when you can, but you
get you get a lot of time to do other
things and get a lot more.
Speaker 2 (18:10):
A lot of time to do what I want to do.
Speaker 3 (18:12):
Well, why don't you guys?
Speaker 6 (18:14):
I'm ready, I'm ready, like tunter down.
Speaker 1 (18:16):
I'm ready to put her down.
Speaker 10 (18:17):
And I can't see her.
Speaker 6 (18:18):
I don't want to.
Speaker 1 (18:19):
I don't want to think some people.
Speaker 2 (18:21):
I want to thunner down one person. You can set herself,
bro listen to what I'm telling you. You got to
listen to me.
Speaker 8 (18:28):
You can settle down with her, but still be with
other people because she lives.
Speaker 2 (18:33):
It's long distance. It don't count. That's not even cheating
when it's long distance.
Speaker 3 (18:37):
Oh my gosh.
Speaker 4 (18:38):
Okay, so here's everybody know that if.
Speaker 3 (18:41):
You can't, okay, no, but I will say this.
Speaker 2 (18:49):
Give me.
Speaker 4 (18:51):
So you guys really care about each other, but nobody
is willing to move. Maybe what you need to do
is on the kind of the same lines of mento
but not lying is maybe you guys have to agree.
Speaker 3 (19:02):
And I've seen people do this. I know people personally
who this worked for.
Speaker 4 (19:06):
Is okay because this isn't working, but we care about
each other.
Speaker 3 (19:09):
You can date other people. I'll date other.
Speaker 4 (19:11):
People, and maybe that will encourage y'all to be like,
you know what I am gonna. I do really want
to make this work, and if not, then y'all weren't
meant to be. But I don't think you should cheat.
I think what you need to do is come to
an agreement, like, look, not that one of us wants
to move.
Speaker 3 (19:26):
This isn't working for me long distance.
Speaker 4 (19:28):
I want to be with you, but I can't be
with you if we're not living in the same place
and you're not trying to move here and I'm not
trying to move there. So maybe we need to take
a break. But we can still see each other when
we do. But I think you have to be honest
and not say I'm settled down and not be settled
down because that'll destroy the relationship forever, and I don't
want to just yeah. And so what you might realize
(19:50):
is that maybe it means so much to you and
things can change, you know, like next year, this could
be a whole different conversation where she's willing to move
or you're willing to move, or y'all go somewhere else
that's not you know, where she is or where you are.
Maybe there's a place you guys would settle on to
go to together that you guys picked together.
Speaker 3 (20:08):
Who knows, But.
Speaker 4 (20:09):
I'm saying a lot can change. But in the meantime,
don't destroy what you do have by lying.
Speaker 6 (20:14):
Y'all both base from yafe.
Speaker 3 (20:17):
Wait, don't be a liar, Talk to you later. Good luck,
all right, thank you?
Speaker 5 (20:22):
All right?
Speaker 4 (20:22):
All right, Well that was ask ye eight hundred and
two nine two fifty one fifty. As you know, that's
spot to buy socony, not seconi. And when we come back,
guess who stopped by today, Vibes Cartel. How could he not? Okay,
he's in Brooklyn at the bar Place. And we got
two Brooklyn people right here right, me and Mano. So
we have a little bit of Vibes Cartl, a little
bit of Vies Cartl when we come back. But we
(20:44):

up and no beg.
Speaker 8 (20:48):
We about to do this one of Lemos, the famous
women in radio Vidiomen.
Speaker 1 (20:52):
We're talking about angela Ye. You're way up with angela Ye.
Please believe that.
Speaker 4 (20:57):
What's up this way up at the ends of way Yeah,
Mato gear way up. I mean it's really up right
now because the world boss, we got yees ye man.
Speaker 2 (21:05):
Yes, yes, oh man.
Speaker 4 (21:11):
So many things we got to get into today now.
First off, Brooklyn is coming up. You're going to be
at the Barclays. Two soul Down shows. It was so
crazy they had to add one.
Speaker 9 (21:20):
They have to add one. They wanted to add a third.
I'm like, nah, we're not. We're not going tree beat.
They wanted a little three back to back exactly. I'm
not doing that. We just do it back to back.
Jordan ninety six, ninety seven.
Speaker 4 (21:32):
You know how crazy that is because there's people that
have to like cancel shows rope off part of the stadium,
but you they actually had to show it out a
show for Yeah.
Speaker 9 (21:41):
Yeah, that's too easy, man. Remember I put the work
in over the years. Is big, the fun base is big,
and the people miss me. I've been there. In a minute.
Speaker 4 (21:49):
Let's talk about Brooklyn Anthem though, because when that goes off,
I'm from flat Bush, he's from best Guy. We get
our shoutouts in Brooklyn Anthem. How many times you think
you're gonna do that song?
Speaker 2 (21:59):
Several?
Speaker 9 (22:00):
You got sometimes at least five, And that's what the
people say. Make sure you know the song word for
word from start to finish, like I wrote the song
come on.
Speaker 2 (22:10):
Yeah, but it's gonna be crazy.
Speaker 3 (22:11):
That's and everybody's pulling up. I know.
Speaker 4 (22:14):
I can't even imagine what type I guess I mean
because a lot of artists live out here too.
Speaker 9 (22:18):
No, come on, this is New York. Yeah, so a
lot of artists coming. Uh Cardi coming but still coming,
you know what I mean? A lot of people are
going to pull up.
Speaker 4 (22:26):
You did the summer Cardiet, Yes? Is it being debuted
or something or yeah?
Speaker 2 (22:31):
Definitely. I don't know when, but it's coming.
Speaker 3 (22:34):
It should be at the barkway very soon.
Speaker 2 (22:36):
I'm not sure. Maybe that's too soon.
Speaker 4 (22:38):
But it's a snippet or something like a little snippet.
You gotta do that. Yeah, let's go viral.
Speaker 2 (22:45):
My manager has it if he wants to drop a snippet.
Speaker 3 (22:49):
Come on, let's get it.
Speaker 2 (22:50):
Let's go yeah, way up.
Speaker 3 (22:54):
Now, listen, Oh champagne.
Speaker 2 (22:57):
Respect, I'm on a liquid diet.
Speaker 3 (22:58):
Okay, I see that.
Speaker 4 (23:00):
And I also saw what you've been doing for the economy,
which a rum.
Speaker 9 (23:04):
Yes, it's crazy right, just the Caribbean. That's a huge
that's a huge, man, trust me. Man and I had
a rum before I got arrested. I went to prison,
and that that did work too. But this one.
Speaker 3 (23:15):
People are going crazy over this crazy.
Speaker 2 (23:17):
I'm telling you, man, the shop. I recommend that for you.
Speaker 3 (23:22):
Okay, why for me?
Speaker 2 (23:23):
Because it got that figure than it.
Speaker 9 (23:24):
It's got that thing for the ladies that that get
them going.
Speaker 3 (23:28):
Yes, wait, what did you just do?
Speaker 2 (23:37):
I want to take it back a little bit. How
was it? How was it doing at time? Though?
Speaker 8 (23:41):
Bro Like, because I did time, But when I did time,
I wasn't never, I wasn't in the industry.
Speaker 2 (23:46):
You was already a huge artist. I was that doing
time like that.
Speaker 9 (23:51):
I mean prisoners person man, regardless, but you know what
I mean. Just it's Jamaica, so you know. But yeah,
I mean I was in prison. I was rocking the
roll ex Latest Jordan's anything. I could get whatever I want.
I just couldn't leave. So it's kind of different, right,
But it was a dungeon still because it's not like
an American prison. Yeah, you know, I mean we still
(24:12):
didn't have toilets in the cells up to a point.
Speaker 4 (24:14):
I remember when that was a big story or some
changes toilets.
Speaker 2 (24:18):
Man, you gotta show newspaper and wrap that up.
Speaker 4 (24:21):
Because the other problem is also that, you know, aside
from that Graves disease.
Speaker 2 (24:26):
Yeah, I'm still suffering from it now, so I've been
through it. Man. But what are you gonna do, Kry No,
you gotta just your parents.
Speaker 3 (24:34):
That's it, all right.
Speaker 4 (24:35):

Cartel interview. More of that tomorrow, though. We're gonna have
the full interview with me and Mano and of course
Vibes Cartel tomorrow. His first show at the Bark Glade
is tomorrow night, followed by a second show on Saturday.
But they're sold out, but we will be talking more
to him and that full interview is going to come out.
(24:57):
We enjoyed that. It was really fun and when we
come back, this is your show. So you have the
last word.
Speaker 1 (25:02):
Take up the phone tap to get your voice heard.
What the word is? The last word? On way up
with Angela? Ye?
Speaker 3 (25:11):
What's happens with you? But Angela yee, I'm here with
my guy.
Speaker 4 (25:14):
May not no, May are you ready for this? We're
gonna find your bride. I can't wait to give you away.
Speaker 2 (25:22):
Stop saying you want to give me away?
Speaker 3 (25:23):
How do you want me to say it?
Speaker 2 (25:25):
Like you're not gonna give me away? Like you're gonna
help me plan this? Well, okay, the data set for
July twenty six is happening.
Speaker 3 (25:32):
I went to officiate as well.
Speaker 2 (25:35):
You want to do everything I do.
Speaker 3 (25:36):
I'm gonna get my license. I can officiations.
Speaker 2 (25:38):

this thing happen.

Okay, all right, well again Bibe's cartel full interview is
going to be out tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (26:00):
He's a legend, like for real.
Speaker 4 (26:02):

Speaker 3 (26:06):
He's a teacher for sure. Vibes. What did you call him?
Speaker 2 (26:10):
General?
Speaker 4 (26:13):
All right, and again this is your show, so you
have the last word.
Speaker 10 (26:18):
I want to shun a light all the first responders
who went to aid those who loved Ones, and that
club collapsed out there in the Dominican Republic. So a
heart goes out to all the family who WoT loved Ones.
I pray for them and their family.
Speaker 1 (26:33):
