Yeah, shout out to Clarissa Shields who put that beat
down on Saturday. But I was like involved in all
of the activities prior to the fight to the weigh in.
You know, we went to the ring beforehand where they
were having a press conference. By the way, it was
like one hundred degrees that day in the tree and
there was no air conditioning.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
It's a real boxing gym. What about your weekend?

Speaker 1 (00:53):

I might yes, I want to discuss some of that
with you.

Michael Rappaport had to say, But we'll get into all
of that in the meantime.

Speaker 3 (01:23):
Let's shine a light eight hundred two nine two fifty

Speaker 2 (01:31):
It's way up.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
I'm a shame.

Speaker 4 (01:33):
Turn your lights on, y'all, spreading love to those who
are doing greatness.

Speaker 1 (01:38):

It's time to shine a light on them.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
Yeah, it's what yea by Angela.

Speaker 5 (01:46):
Ye.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
I'm here with my boy cats and it's time to
shine a light Not Caz, Who do you want to
shine a light on?

Speaker 1 (01:50):
I want to shine a light on the latest inductee
Cooperstown the Baseball Hall of Fame, the one and only
CC Sabbathia, formerly of the New York Yankees, and talk
about six time All Star World Series champ with the Yankees,
one of the last black starting pictures to go into
the Hall of Fame. And he made a great speech
talking about that when he was inducted. He's just a

(02:11):
great person. His wife is awesome too. Got to kick
with him at and that expenses past year. Shout out
CC man and congratulations on immortality. Welcome to the Baseball
Hall of Fame.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
Yes, I saw in this speech he also was thanking
all the women in his life too, Amber Sabbathia. But
he talked about throwing grapefruits in his grandmother's backyard when
he was young. Can you imagine throwing grape fruits could
turn into something like that?

Speaker 1 (02:32):
I feel like you can. You gotta have a good
grip to you know what I mean, Grab one of
those big joints. But shout out to him, man, He's
always been a wonderful person. His story is incredible. And
when you bring a world series to the Yanks, man,
you live forever. Absolutely all right?

Speaker 2 (02:44):
Gay And because we were shoting a light I didn't
pause that moment.

Speaker 4 (02:48):
Yo.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
I appreciate that. I appreciate no part in the lefts
on that one. Thank you.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
That was beautiful. Well, Chelsea, who do you want to
shine a light on?

Speaker 6 (02:57):
I want to shine a light on my wife, Heila,
being a wonderful wife and mother through our babies and
for always holding us down through all of our endeavors.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
How many babies y'all got?

Speaker 6 (03:08):
Two avoiding a girl six and seven?

Speaker 2 (03:11):
Okay, that's a beautiful thing.

Speaker 6 (03:13):
You know what. We're making a life change with my
career to where she's gonna have to be the one
mainly supporting us, and I just appreciate or even doing that.
So she definitely deserves the light to be shall no
shined on her?

Speaker 2 (03:27):
Okay? Okay? I love that.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
Well, that's real love right there, And that's what partnership
is all about. You up and holding it down for me,
and then it's gonna happen the other way around.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
I know you can't wait for that.

Speaker 6 (03:37):
Too, exactly, yes, ma'am.

Speaker 2 (03:40):
All right, well, thank you for calling in.

Speaker 6 (03:41):
Congrats, thank you, and Jeya having a good day you too.

Speaker 3 (03:44):
Well that was shining light eight hundred and two nine
two fifty one fifty In case you couldn't get through,
you can leave a message shine a light during last
word and when we come back, we got your ut,
and let's get right into it. Let's talk about Clarissa
Shills versus Lonnie Daniels. What happened at the fight? I
got all into insight too. You saw that tattoo, right, I.

Speaker 1 (04:02):
Sure did shut up to stand on it.

Speaker 4 (04:06):
They say, the rooms from industry shade to all of
gossip out Angela's feeling that eyt.

Speaker 3 (04:14):
Yeah, it's way I put Angela you and it's time
for some yet.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
With my guy Caz.

Speaker 1 (04:18):
You ready, I'm good, Angels go?

Speaker 3 (04:20):
Were you excited that Beyonce but Destiny's child out Destiny
for the final Cowboy cardis show.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
Destiny and all of her children back together again. It
was amazing. Kelly and Michelle looked incredible. But man, if
you were at the Vegas show the night before, how
do you feel you feel some type of way?

Speaker 3 (04:37):
That's the Yeah, some type of way because you're like,
if I would have just.

Speaker 1 (04:41):
Waited right right right, that was a fire show.

Speaker 3 (04:44):
But they're also saying that the Cowboy Carter Tour is
the biggest country tour of all time. You know how
mad country music is at that. They gross four hundred
million dollars with thirty two dates. Congratulations take that, Cmas. Now,
speaking of Beyonce, Clarissa Shields, as you know, she has
called yourself the Beyonce of boxing.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
That actually happened up here on the way up. Just
to flash back to that, I would don't let nobody
ever trick you out your spot.

Speaker 4 (05:12):
One.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
I've already had a stylist, that's the first part. I
was already looking at getting me another stylist so I
can have two. I'm the Beyonce of boxing.

Speaker 7 (05:21):
Do you know how many stylis that Beyonce got.

Speaker 3 (05:23):
Well, she came out and was definitely the Beyonce because
she actually channeled Beyonce with that outfit that she had
on the pink dress.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
Yep, yep, yep. She looked great. I mean in all
shapes and shoes of course, the fight and looking out
there or her outfit, she was amazing.

Speaker 3 (05:41):
Well, speaking of which, you know, she did, as we stated,
dominate Lonnie Daniels. She is now still the undisputed heavyweight champion.
So congratulations to Clarissa Shields for that. I mean the
way I was I looked at it as I was
at the fight. I felt like she won every single round.

Speaker 1 (06:00):
Yeah, it was dominating. It wasn't even close. Like I know,
there's been talk about leiy Loy trying to come out
there and fight Clarisa Shields. I love ay Loley, don't
do it to yourself. Shields is in is in the
level of greatness that we only see a few female
boxes truly achieved. And she's just just absolutely making a
mockerated division right now.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
All right.

Speaker 3 (06:20):
Well, in addition to that, she made a big announcement
about Salita Promotions. They do all of her fights, and
this is what she said in the ring after the fight.

Speaker 2 (06:28):
After this, but I have to get my boxing life together.

Speaker 3 (06:31):
I've been with so we the promotions for since I
was twenty one, and now I'm thirty.

Speaker 2 (06:37):
This is our last fight just on our contract. So
I'm like a free agent.

Speaker 3 (06:42):
So everybody's wondering where is she gonna go next? With
free agency?

Speaker 1 (06:46):
I mean, you got the a rap money out there
that's gonna be huge. You got Jake paul most viable
promotions out there. You already seen what he's done with
women's boxing and the big shows at Massive Square Garden.

Speaker 3 (06:56):
She talks so disrespectfully about her that bothers her so much.

Speaker 1 (07:00):
Know, I mean, I feel like the tension between them
could create some dollars. When you have that sort of
tension between your promoting and the star fighter, you know,
you like seeing that type of entertainment. So I think
she's not gonna have any shortness of suitors for what's
gonna get.

Speaker 3 (07:15):
I thought she needs some ownership absolutely wherever she decides
to go that type of deal.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
Now, what's next for Clarissa Shields. Here's what she had
to say.

Speaker 1 (07:24):
What's the next thing? When you moved forward?

Speaker 4 (07:25):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (07:26):
You know, it's tweezy to beat more like people think
that it's all about the knockouts.

Speaker 1 (07:31):
Just like I go on there and I win team
rounds easy.

Speaker 3 (07:35):
So I don't know who she wants to fight next.
You know what, when we come back about last night,
I'll give you a little bit of insight of conversations
that were had.

Speaker 1 (07:42):
Yeah, you in that corner, you was in, you was
in the ringing it all. It all went down. Let
me know, Teddy Atlas.

Speaker 3 (07:48):
When we come back, we have about last night. We
discussed what we did last night. In the meantime, here
is some Fat Joe and Ashanti. Did you see Fat
Joe's story about getting a haircut?

Speaker 1 (07:58):
I love story.

Speaker 5 (08:01):
Went down?

Speaker 3 (08:03):
All right, it's where you puty Angela. Yeah, I'm here
with my guy cast about last night.

Speaker 2 (08:08):
What did you do?

Speaker 1 (08:09):
I kept this so light, this weekend because this week's
about to be very, very busy. So I was super
dad mold, just me and my baby's chilling, going on
some indoor playgrounds, doing some water play, getting out the heat.
That's all we did. We kept a super duper light
because Daddy is super busy this week.

Speaker 2 (08:25):
Now tell us about what's going on this week, just
so we know.

Speaker 1 (08:28):
Yeah, So Summer Slam Weekend is kicking off Thursday night
at the Grammarcy Theater myself, Action Bronson, Bret the Hitman,
Heart and many other surprise guests with Summer Bash taking
place there at the Grammasey Theater. Shout out to Chase
Freedom and Wingstop. Our sponsors were doing a live podcast there.
Action Bronson is performing My God, Supers, DJ and DJ Money.

(08:50):
It's a great way to kick off the wrestling weekend,
which starts at MetLife Stadium Saturday night. At a MetLife
Stadium for summer.

Speaker 2 (08:58):
Is wallet Mania coming back.

Speaker 1 (09:00):
Willymania is probably gonna come back. You know, we had it.
We had some scheduling issues. He's on toy KESHI call
right now. Hiss La. Date moved from August fourth to
August first, So doing the cross country thing just wasn't
really conducive. So but we will be back Wilelymnia will
see your return in the future for sure.

Speaker 3 (09:15):
All right, Well, over the weekend, you know, I was
in the dy I've seen it. I went to go
out there for Clarissa Shield just fight. Shout out to
everybody at w j LB for putting everything together, my
girl Sharon who was out with me.

Speaker 2 (09:28):
Thanks, we got Sharon outside.

Speaker 3 (09:30):
You know, Kim was out there this weekend too, and
so yeah, Kim the singer Kim, Oh Kim.

Speaker 1 (09:36):
Although you say Kim, I'm like Kim, sorryal I bad
cam Oka and.

Speaker 3 (09:41):
You know Kim and Detroit is like it was. It
was a very active weekend, let's just say that.

Speaker 1 (09:48):
But any does it ever get nervous? Does ever get
nervous in those corners, especially when they're fighting and anything
like that, or it's.

Speaker 3 (09:54):
Just well, that was my first time I was sitting ringside,
like I was not necessarily out on the flowers, like
in front of the rope, so I got a chance
to really like enjoy the fight. Shout out to my
girl Christo for also helping set everything up. But we
were really just sitting there and able to like see
everything super clear.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
It was amazing. I got to watch the Undercar fights too.
Shout out to Price. The price is right, Big Brooklyn.

Speaker 1 (10:16):
Shout out Price in the building. In boxing himself, I
always feel like you never know what the aftes is
gonna look like. When you're in the corner of a fighter,
it's like, all.

Speaker 3 (10:24):
Right, but you really see the sweat getting knocked off somebody.
But I've always felt like going to a boxing match
is way different when you watch it on TV because
you see a lot more on the television that you
may not catch while you're sitting right there because it's
different angles. So there's times I've gone to fights and
been like this person went and then when I go
and look at it on TV, I'm like, oh, maybe
I can see why, you know, they escored it the

(10:47):
way that they did.

Speaker 1 (10:47):
I'm not good at catching like the defensive moves. I
can hear. I can hear a loud hit, but like
if I'm seeing somebody missing punches a lot, I gotta
go back and see instead replay and watch it all TV,
for sure.

Speaker 2 (10:57):
But it was a whole vibe in there.

Speaker 3 (10:58):
You know, Rick Ross walked around HM, so that was
a big deal, and then he had an after party
at prebase. I was at the after party after the fight.
I was definitely outside all weekend, so it was very active.
I'll tell you Mark rub Detroit. So no, but they
showed me so much love in the d Actually, when
we come back, tell us a secret eight hundred two

(11:20):
ninety two fifty one fifty. Maybe you had a little
secret thing happening this weekend and you want to share
with us and get it out there. Eight hundred ninety
two fifty one fifty. It's a no judgment zone. You
are anonymous. Cluss app, tell us a secret. It's way up,
way up.

Speaker 1 (11:36):
This is a judgment free zone. Tell us a secret.

Speaker 3 (11:41):
It's way up with Angela. Ye, that was me shushing everybody.
What's upcast?

Speaker 2 (11:44):
How are you?

Speaker 1 (11:45):
I'm doing good about yourself.

Speaker 2 (11:46):
I feel like you got some secrets in your involved.

Speaker 1 (11:48):
Oh not me today anyway.

Speaker 3 (11:52):
But you know what, it's not a value today because
it's to be anonymous. You're not anonymous, and it's a
no judgment zone. Eight hundred two nine two fifty fifty.
What's up, anonymous?

Speaker 1 (12:01):
Color?

Speaker 2 (12:02):
Tell us just seecret So me and my girl have.

Speaker 7 (12:05):
Been together for eight months. And it's gonna sound a
little creepy, but every time we have sex, I always
fantasize another woman in my head.

Speaker 1 (12:15):
Oh boy, only eight months? Brother? How serious is this relationship?
How deep are y'all in it?

Speaker 7 (12:22):
It's pretty serious? I really like her?

Speaker 2 (12:24):
Okay, do you always do this or just with this girlfriend?

Speaker 8 (12:28):
No?

Speaker 7 (12:29):
Just with her?

Speaker 2 (12:30):
Why do you think that is?

Speaker 7 (12:32):
She's an amazing person, But I don't know if I
really enjoy having sex with her that much.

Speaker 1 (12:38):
Now, are you fantasizing about somebody you used to be
with or you're just thinking of just other women? Just anybody?

Speaker 7 (12:45):
Yeah, I'll go it's a mixed.

Speaker 2 (12:48):
Are you so you think you're not attracted to your girlfriend?

Speaker 7 (12:51):
Honestly, I don't know what it is, but it just happens.

Speaker 1 (12:54):
Now. Usually there's there's a there's an imaginary menu in
your head when you're going through sex, right, is there?
Everything's on the menu with your current girl that you're
probably not getting or something you're not used to getting
with this new girl or what is it like?

Speaker 7 (13:08):
Yeah, see, that's the thing. She there's certain things that
she is that she.

Speaker 1 (13:12):
Does that your girl doesn't do, or somebody that you
used to be with. Yeah.

Speaker 7 (13:17):
Yeah, I'm a very aggressive person and I like to
be dominant and my girl doesn't like that.

Speaker 1 (13:22):
She's vanilla, right is that the term that they all use? Vanilla?

Speaker 2 (13:25):
Okay, not get it.

Speaker 3 (13:26):
So there's these things that you're into, she's not doing it,
so you fantasize about it, and that's really what it is.

Speaker 7 (13:32):
Yeah, So I don't know. Is that bad? I don't know.

Speaker 2 (13:35):
You're not cheating, right, you don't think it'll lead to cheating?

Speaker 7 (13:37):
No, No, I'm not cheating.

Speaker 2 (13:39):
You think you'll end up cheating?

Speaker 1 (13:40):
Though?

Speaker 2 (13:40):
You think this is you think you can continue like this.

Speaker 7 (13:44):
No, Honestly, I really like her. She's a great person.

Speaker 1 (13:47):
Like I said, well, have you tried talking to her
about the things that you like being done to you
or done to her? Like, have you had conversations about this?

Speaker 7 (13:54):
We haven't had the conversation. Every time I try to
do it, she pushed back, and I I don't want
to overstep.

Speaker 2 (14:01):
So okay, that's fair.

Speaker 1 (14:03):
That's respectful, for sure. But you know, there's probably there's
probably ways you can clue her in on things that
you like done. And you know, if you've been together
for eight months, I'm short, there's going to be incremental
ways that you know, you could.

Speaker 2 (14:13):
Be some little baby steps.

Speaker 1 (14:15):
It's a little baby steps something, of course, especially if
you like her that much. Trust me, If you like
her as much as you say you like her, all
this other stuff is irrelevant, man. Just take baby steps
and get her, you know, and by the time you
sixty months and who knows where you're at sexually, So
don't do nothing crazy.

Speaker 3 (14:30):
Just do all that dirty talk, all the things you
want to. You can say it while you fantasize it.
There you go, and don't call it the wrong name. Well,
thank you so much for sharing with us.

Speaker 7 (14:43):
Yeah, thank y'all.

Speaker 2 (14:45):
Wow, I would be devastated.

Speaker 1 (14:47):
Yeah, that's a message.

Speaker 3 (14:48):
Imagine your wife was like, you know, I fantasize it it.

Speaker 1 (14:52):
Oh my god.

Speaker 3 (14:53):
All right, well that is tell us a secret eight
hundred and two ninety two fifty one fifty. If you
couldn't get through, leave a message, tell us a secret
that way, And when we come back, we have your
yee tea, And let's talk about Ray j. He was
recently on with Cam Newton and there is so much
going on here, but we'll give you a couple other highlights.

Speaker 4 (15:09):
It's way up she's about to blow the lid ab
off this spot.

Speaker 1 (15:12):
Let's get it.

Speaker 4 (15:13):
Oh Angelus feeling that Yee te Come and get your tea.

Speaker 2 (15:16):
It's way up. But Angela, yee.

Speaker 7 (15:18):
I'm here with.

Speaker 1 (15:18):
Cass hilarious off Ara conversation.

Speaker 3 (15:23):
Oh my gosh, and we do have to get into
this Yee team. We're talking about ray J on Cam Newton.
You know a lot of conversations. I was just playing
for you the part where he Cam Newton asked, and
what's his sexuality because he was saying how he wented
to shower where Kay Sanat and I show speed.

Speaker 2 (15:39):
But he was like, shout out to the agency.

Speaker 1 (15:42):
He always he always makes sure is a shout out
the agency and shows out how much he loved he
gets in that community. And I feel like Cam needed
to know. I need answers now.

Speaker 3 (15:52):
Ray J also had said this might be his last interview.
I feel like he says that a lot though. Shout
out to my guy, ray J.

Speaker 1 (15:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (15:58):
But one of the things that he talked about was
Whitney Houston and when she passion. You know, people have
tried to put that on ray J. And sometimes you
don't want to address those things. But here's what he
had to say.

Speaker 1 (16:09):
I love Whitney, saying that I was in the room
when she died.

Speaker 2 (16:13):
Bro, that's the biggest cap I've ever heard.

Speaker 3 (16:16):
If you look on all my comments, Yes, every time
I go live anything, you kill Whitney.

Speaker 1 (16:20):
I wasn't even there.

Speaker 2 (16:21):
I was in San Diego.

Speaker 1 (16:22):
During the show. Okay, Clive Davis Vett was the next day.
We were going to go there together. So y'all had
a real relationship, one thousand percent real emotions. That was
my people wrong. I was so fucked up after that happened.
I tried hard drugs.

Speaker 2 (16:36):
And I could see how something like that. I mean,
that's horrifying.

Speaker 1 (16:39):
I mean it's traumatic, it's tragic all around. I mean right,
wrong and indifferent. There was a whole party going on
downstairs while she laid dead upstairs in the hotel room
in the bathtub like so, and for that to be
pushed on somebody who he says loved there as much
as he did, that's got to be traumatic. So I
feel for him.

Speaker 3 (16:57):
Yeah, And he said they even had planned to public
with their relationship.

Speaker 1 (17:02):
Well, there was some public at the time.

Speaker 3 (17:05):
That's why people kind of know about it. Here's what
he said about how he even met and knew Whitney Houston.
How did you guys even meet because we just started
binding bro, like in Miami.

Speaker 2 (17:13):
But Brandy Whitney was Brandy's idol.

Speaker 1 (17:16):
She loved her and she emulated everything around her. So
I like Whitney too. Then I was felt the same way,
just different. Then when I seen her, I went there
and that's how it happened. And then we was like
Dan for a long time. Bro, did the public know about.

Speaker 3 (17:29):
They knew about their songs anywhere, but we was gonna
make it official the night she passed.

Speaker 5 (17:33):
Bro.

Speaker 1 (17:34):
There it is right there, man, man, I.

Speaker 2 (17:37):
Can't even imagine how traumatizing that is.

Speaker 1 (17:41):
A sof rip. I love I love that you shout
out that's Inderella movie. That's my daughter's favorite movie. By
the way, we watched all the time, the Whitney and Brandy,
Rogers and Hammerstein Cinderella from Disney.

Speaker 2 (17:51):
So incredible, all right.

Speaker 3 (17:53):
And in other news, Kanye West and Diddy, according to
Radar Online, they have an exclusive are planning to could
come back together Okay, yes, and so allegedly the two
of them are even thinking about doing like a joint
collab album together. More singles, and Kanye has said he
want Diddy to get involved with his clothing line as well.

Speaker 1 (18:14):
And you want to hear something a little crazy what
I'm not mad at it. I'm not mad at it.
It's like pariah they got, they got like everybody sort
of against them anyway, Like in the way we're just
so interested in everything that these two do. If they
put anything, say this.

Speaker 3 (18:31):
It don't matter. People don't care. If if you have
some fire clothing, yeah, people do not care.

Speaker 2 (18:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (18:37):
And if it's exclusive and it's going to sell out
and people think it's going to be valuable and they
want to be one of the only ones to get it,
I feel like people will still do it.

Speaker 1 (18:45):
Hey, man, Kanye just the ninety thousand seat stadium in
like Korea, just this past weekend, right like he is not,
you know, missing no meals around the world. So funny enough,
I think it might be a successful venture. Funny enough.

Speaker 3 (18:58):
All right, Well that is your yet when you come
back under the radar. These are the stories that are
not in the headlines. They're flying under the radar, but
you definitely need to know about them. You know, what
we got to talk about Donald Trump is accusing Joe Biden.

Speaker 1 (19:09):
Do we have to.

Speaker 2 (19:12):
Of something really crazy? It's way up the news.

Speaker 4 (19:16):
This in the news that relates to you. These stories
are flying under the radar.

Speaker 3 (19:20):
It's way up at the Angel Lagie and it's time for
Under the Radar with Caz Yo. Who's guest hosting today,
getting ready for your huge event on Thursday. Right, Yes,
ma'am summer Bash, I might have to come to that.

Speaker 1 (19:33):
You need to come through all right.

Speaker 3 (19:35):
Well, Donald Trump is right now talking about what is
going on with these Epstein files that it looks like,
you know, he definitely doesn't want them to be released.
He was in Scotland today and he basically is saying
there's a conspiracy theory. So if he is in that paperwork,
you know why. Here's what he said.

Speaker 8 (19:54):
And by the way, I never went to the island,
and Bill Clinton went there supposedly twenty eight times, and
many other people that are very big people. Nobody ever
talks about them. I never had the privilege of going
to his island, and I did turn it down.

Speaker 2 (20:08):
What do you call it the privilege?

Speaker 1 (20:09):
I mean, you had to know what was going on
in it, no, at least to say it was a
privilege right, that it was not a Freudian slip.

Speaker 3 (20:19):
Then he went on to say that Biden administration had
the ability to release the files if there was something
in them, but.

Speaker 2 (20:27):
He also says that Biden is his enemy. Listen to this.

Speaker 8 (20:29):
It's a hoax that's been built up way beyond proportion.

Speaker 1 (20:33):
I can say this.

Speaker 8 (20:33):
Those files were run by the worst Come on Earth coomy,
they were run by Garland, they were run by Biden.
If they had something, they would have released. Now they
can easily put something into files.

Speaker 1 (20:46):
That's a phony.

Speaker 3 (20:48):
So just in case it does come out, I just
want to he's trying to get ahead of it.

Speaker 2 (20:52):
That is the story.

Speaker 1 (20:54):
Textbook scammer language.

Speaker 3 (20:56):
Right, then tell you something that was first. He tried
to put it on somebody else, right, and say that
claim was there twenty eight times. But then you're also
saying that they somehow put something in there. That's what
people do when they know they're liars. They actually try
to get ahead of the story. Put this story out first.
So then when you hear it, you're like, oh, but
he already said that they were going to do that

(21:16):
to him, And then you think, oh, he exposed it first.
Speaking of getting exposed that tea app that everybody was
talking about where women are talking about men. They dated
uploading pictures that got hacked. And by the way, this
is just like an app, well not an app, but
it was a website called Don't Date himgirl dot com
back in the day. I actually knew people that pictures
got posted on air and everybody weighs in and talks

(21:39):
about how terrible this guy was to them. It's the
same thing, and that got taken down. I can't see
this lasting much longer.

Speaker 1 (21:45):
So we had we had juicy camps.

Speaker 3 (21:48):
They always try to do a different iterations and it
never lasts long.

Speaker 1 (21:52):
Many a.

Speaker 3 (21:56):
One guy complaining that he was on there and talking
about it getting like hacked, ye, and then a woman
like we posted it, but everything they said about you
is true.

Speaker 2 (22:02):
You did do.

Speaker 3 (22:03):
I was like, oh, okay, buncho business, all right, well
that is your under the radar. We do have the
way up into the top of the hour. Plus of
course we got yee t on the way. We also
have ask ye all of those things.

Speaker 2 (22:13):
It's way up.

Speaker 3 (22:15):
Just like to talk like they Angela Jean like they
and Jelie jee.

Speaker 4 (22:19):
Man, she's spilling it all. This is yeat way up.

Speaker 3 (22:25):
It's way yup. Put angela yee, I'm here, Kaz is here.
I guess hosting today. You took the peace signs.

Speaker 2 (22:30):
I love that.

Speaker 1 (22:31):
I'm in the building.

Speaker 2 (22:34):
All right, let's get into some yeat.

Speaker 3 (22:35):
So Tyler Perry was on den of King's That's Kirk
Franklin's podcast, which a pretty much I like it's doing well,
like just him bringing these different people together and having
these conversations. You know.

Speaker 2 (22:46):
Jeez was there.

Speaker 3 (22:47):
Derek Hayes was there, the owner of Dave's Cheesteak, and
Tyler Perry talked about the time that he actually helped
Ryan Coogler and this has to do with the movie
centers and ownership.

Speaker 2 (23:00):
Here's what he said, this deal with Ryan Coogler.

Speaker 1 (23:02):
Everybody's talking about the center's deal. Oh my god, he
got this amazing deal. Listen.

Speaker 5 (23:06):
I call that brother up as I did a lot
of them my first movie. It'll be twenty years this
year from god rebttngratulations. I called him up and said,
here's how you do that deal. And to see that
they were able to pull it off, I ap plaud him. Man.
I'm excited for Him's right because that's what it's about,
holding on to the ownership.

Speaker 3 (23:25):
So he also said during this podcast that he's tried
to hit up a lot of people about ownership and
people don't really listen like that.

Speaker 1 (23:32):
Yeah. No, we had Ryan Coogler on the seven PM
in Brooklyn a few months back and he spoke about
how Tyler Perry came and sort of gave him the game,
like a lot of the OG's do with Spike or whatever.
But this clip in particular, if you're just hearing for
the first time, it's gonna be it's gonna sound a
little like, don't forget about me, I'll put him on listen.

Speaker 3 (23:50):
But maybe he felt comfortable because, like you said, Ryan
Coogler was on seven PM in Brooklyn next and he
mentioned it there. So I saw people were online kind
of dragging him, like, oh, why would you tell this?

Speaker 2 (23:59):
This is from Ryan Kugler to tell But he has
told the story.

Speaker 1 (24:02):
Yes, he has told the story before. But you know,
at the same time, from the outside looking in, it
looks like, look at me trying to take credit for
somebody who's done this great work outside of Tyler Perry's,
you know, handling. So I can see where people can
say that. I don't think it's totally fair, even though
I'm not even the biggest Tyler.

Speaker 3 (24:19):
Perry fair you know, I do think conversations about ownership
are important, and Tyler Perry has definitely put himself in
a unique position where he does have so much ownership
and has been like the blueprint for a lot of people.
Even fifty Cent talking about how Tyler Perry gave him game.
And I think it's commendable that behind the scenes he
will call people up to try to tell them how
to get it done.

Speaker 2 (24:38):
Some people feel like, you know, people gatekeep and they
don't give that information. So I'm not mad at it.

Speaker 3 (24:44):
I'm not mad at it, and especially because, as we
discussed on seven PM in Brooklyn, Ryan Kugler already has
said this. It's not like this is the first time
it's been said. So he probably saw that he said
it and felt like, Okay, you talked about it, now
I can talk about it.

Speaker 1 (24:56):
I always considered the alternative, you could be a OG
who hates and doesn't want to you know what I
mean exactly? You know, So can that be too mad
at that?

Speaker 5 (25:05):
All?

Speaker 7 (25:06):
Right?

Speaker 5 (25:06):
Now?

Speaker 3 (25:06):
Dion Sanders, it looks like he's had some we all know,
recent health issues. We don't know exactly what they are.
But one thing that he talked about is having to
make a will. And here's what he had to.

Speaker 4 (25:17):
Say mentally last night was still yes, nasties to make
a will.

Speaker 1 (25:26):
Listen, it's not easy. Which you want to live to
hear a better stream? What do you think that that's
that's tough to hear? I'm I'm praying for Dion. Uh.
You know, I've been a Deon Sanders fan my entire life,
and you know, after hearing his health struggles here it's
foot amputated and other things that's going on. He has
a press conference later this afternoon specifically to talk about

(25:48):
his medical condition. Only to hope for the best. But
when you have to have a press conference about your
medical condition, it's usually to kind of brace yourself. Yeah,
so I'm hoping he's gonna be all right.

Speaker 2 (26:00):
And you know, I do like that.

Speaker 3 (26:02):
The conversation is also about making a will, and that's
something that people have to think about too. You know,
as you're getting ready, nobody wants to think about the inevitable,
but there's nothing like making sure that you're prepared for
what time is this press conference.

Speaker 1 (26:16):
I think it's going to be out one o'clock Eastern,
so I think pretty soon, probably right right after off
the air, So I think, you know, as soon as
soon as you guys hear that, I'm sure we'll be
talking about it tomorrow. Now.

Speaker 3 (26:28):
Look, I did a quick search and I see Wilson
f Ball CFB analyst.

Speaker 2 (26:33):
You know who that is? Willie Football?

Speaker 3 (26:36):
He said, breaking Sources close to the program tell me
he'll be stepping down at his press conference today due
to illness. Now, I don't know if this is true,
because you know, it's just something that I saw online
with a lot of people re tweeting it and stuff
like that.

Speaker 1 (26:51):
Yeah, I mean it's I don't want to assume. I
don't want to speculate. Obviously, you'd like to let Dion
say his I say it.

Speaker 2 (27:00):
On College Transfer Portal also, So I'm not sure.

Speaker 1 (27:03):
Yeah, let's just hope for the best with y'all. Man
prays off for prom Tom.

Speaker 3 (27:07):
All right, Well that is your yet when we come back,
ask ye eight hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty
any question.

Speaker 2 (27:12):
We're here to help its way up with.

Speaker 4 (27:14):
It's relationship for career advice, Angela's dropping facts.

Speaker 1 (27:17):
You should.

Speaker 3 (27:18):
This is ask Kee what's up? His way up with Angela? Yea,
I'm here with my guest host. Kaz was good.

Speaker 1 (27:24):
I'm good and I'm good.

Speaker 2 (27:25):
Thank you? And you ready to help somebody?

Speaker 1 (27:27):
Of course, let's do.

Speaker 2 (27:28):
It all right?

Speaker 3 (27:29):
Well eight hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty and
you know we do take voicemails, and we have a
voicemail today.

Speaker 7 (27:34):
Here it is, Hey, what's up Angela? This is Walter Devline, Columbus, Ohio.
I got a question if somebody that's your friend disrespects
your partner and you think it's cool to still.

Speaker 3 (27:45):
Hang out with that person, all right, So I'm going
to assume that the person he's dating has a friend
that disrespected him, and he wants to know why should
she still be cool with that person?

Speaker 1 (27:58):
Oh? Man, if you have a friend who disrespects your partner,
that's the disrespect of you. Your partner is always an
extension of yourself, and there's very few things that need
immediate addressing when it comes to friendships. That always needs
to be addressing. If you don't address that now, trust me,
your partner will address it with you.

Speaker 3 (28:16):
And you want no problems with that, and if that's
somebody that you're really cool with, it makes it awkward
to have that person around. And so now you got
to kind of like keep them separate or know that
it's going to be not so nice interaction. Yeah, and
I will say in general, it's nice when everyone can
get along, but it's not realistic, of course.

Speaker 2 (28:33):
You know. I'm sure, like my.

Speaker 3 (28:35):
Boyfriend is a couple of people he doesn't like, and
he is not the type of person to play nice
and intend that he likes you if he doesn't.

Speaker 1 (28:41):
It's the same with my lady, right, Like she has
her friends and if she's not rocking with you, like
she's not going to be rude or mean or anything
like that, but it's gonna be uncomfortable. It wants to be.

Speaker 3 (28:52):
Uncomfortable, and it's so limits to what is that disrespect?
And it's just like I didn't like what that person said,
you know, but it's something that you can get over.
But if it was like some type of something crazy,
then it's a reflection of that person. But you never
want somebody to feel like I could. You know, even
with your friends, you don't want somebody talking crazy about
someone you can't.

Speaker 1 (29:14):
Ever flavor like as long as it's.

Speaker 3 (29:16):
Not something to it bumped heads a little and they
said something, And I think sometimes we have to be
accountable too, because the other thing that happens is like
I have friends who date people who and all they
do is tell me all the negative things about the
person they're dating.

Speaker 2 (29:30):
I am never going to like this person.

Speaker 3 (29:33):
Right now, one of my homegirls is in this situation
where this guy lies all the time. It looks like
he has a full on girlfriend. He took the chick
to a family reunion.

Speaker 2 (29:41):
She saw the pictures and found out, I'm never gonna
like him.

Speaker 1 (29:44):
Of course, of course, I know she won't take a
back eventually.

Speaker 2 (29:47):
I hope not. But we're just not going to get along.

Speaker 3 (29:49):
And that is what it is, you know what I mean,
and so but I'll be polite, but I let her know.

Speaker 1 (29:55):
But also there's the flip of that too, right because
like me and my girl, we like to roast, right,
And if you can't take take our roasting, that's a
that's a sign of love, that's a sign of I
joke around and play around. I'll see it necessarily as disrespect.
But if they take it as disrespect, how far.

Speaker 2 (30:10):
Does this roast goes? All? Right, like it sounds other women, I.

Speaker 3 (30:17):
Mean that all right, Well, good luck to that, But
that's a conversation. You also have to be really open
with your significant other about and if there's a real issue,
then y'all need to address that. And if it's something
that's minded where we just kind of don't gel, that's fine.

Speaker 2 (30:34):
You can't force people to like each other.

Speaker 3 (30:36):
But if it's a bigger issue than that, then that's
a conversation that y'all don't have to make a decision.

Speaker 2 (30:40):
She got to pick aside?

Speaker 1 (30:41):
What could you do?

Speaker 3 (30:42):
And speaking of witch picking a side? Hok Hogan he
passed away, and it feels like the black community we
were not really so like rest in peace to Hoke Hogan.
People were like, what do you want from the store?

Speaker 1 (30:57):
I'm not I'm not laughing that, But we're gonna we're.

Speaker 3 (31:00):
Want to talk about that when we come back. We'll
talk about what Michael Rappaport had to say. I want
to hear from you because you are a person who
I know in this where hok Hogan was a hero
to you as a kid. But how do you feel
now we'll discuss it it's way up, y ye.

Speaker 2 (31:15):
What you're all being waiting folks?

Speaker 4 (31:17):
Oh you're tapped in a way up with Angela yee?

Speaker 2 (31:21):
What's up? His way up with Angela yee.

Speaker 3 (31:23):
I'm here with my guy Kaz And you got this
huge Summer Bash event happening on Thursday.

Speaker 1 (31:28):
That's right Gramacy Theater with Bret the Hitman, Heart Action
Bronson kicking off Summer Slim. We can't get your tickets
right now.

Speaker 3 (31:34):
But as we're gearing up for that, I want to
talk about hok Hogan. You know, he passed away and
I was looking on social media and saw so many
different things being posted. A lot of people in the
black community are not feeling like they care. Yeah so much.
But Michael Rappaport has an issue with that. He's not
in the black community. But here's what he said.

Speaker 9 (31:55):
I don't care if he had some controversy outside of
the ring. We're talking about one of the more original
characters in American popular culture. We are talking about a
guy who created something out of his imagination that.

Speaker 1 (32:09):
Captured the world's attention.

Speaker 9 (32:12):
We're not going to be disrespecting the Hulkster for the joy.

Speaker 1 (32:15):
That he gave.

Speaker 3 (32:17):
Now I want to ask you your thoughts. You know,
it's difficult. Somebody passes away, think about like a Kevin Samuels. Yeah,
and people are not sorry. And actually certain things that
you did in your life dictates how people look at.

Speaker 2 (32:28):
You and remember you.

Speaker 3 (32:30):
So what are your thoughts about ho Cogan dying and
whether or not people should be paying attention to his
racist past and other troubling things.

Speaker 1 (32:37):
I mean, what everything Michael Ropperport did say about ho
covid is true. He is a pop culture icon, He
is a wrestling legend. He was very instrumental into being
a big part of this world that a lot of
people eat off of to this day, a multi billion
dollar industry. All that is true. Other things that are true, though,
are things about Hok ho In's past. The way he
worked with people behind the scenes, the way he was

(32:58):
a union buster that he said, uh you know related
to black people that was famously covered in the Gawker, the.

Speaker 3 (33:06):
N words, that friend's wife, the whole bubble, the loves
ones thing like.

Speaker 1 (33:12):
There was many things that people did not like about
Hulk Hogan before you even get to the racism, right. So,
you know, I spoke a lot of friends this past weekend,
and in a weird way, a lot of black wrestling fans,
like myself like kind of mourned the loss of Hul
Hogan ten years ago. And funny enough, the day he
died was literally ten years to the day that that

(33:33):
Gawker story sort of exploded onto the Internet and we
all saw what he thought about, you know, his daughter
dating a black black man and all that type of stuff,
and an N word, a rich N word and not
a poor N word, at least one of those eight
foot tall N words, which was what was a direct
quote from him. And I kind of believe that there
is a time and place to talk about people's legacies,

(33:54):
but I would say that the best thing to do
is to be honest about the entire legacy. I grew
up a massive Huol Hogan fan, like many people who
grew up in the eighties, you know. But at the
same time, when that whole thing happened ten years ago,
there was a little bit of a morning period because
you grew up thinking that Hull Hogan was the beacon
of everything good in sports. Like you could argue in

(34:15):
the eighties, he was as popular as a Muhammad Ali,
as a Mike Tyson as Michael.

Speaker 3 (34:19):
Jackson, and he had a reality show put his kids
on to help his kids out.

Speaker 1 (34:24):
Funny enough, him and the Osbournees were kind of like
one of the first real people who kicked the door
open for a lot of reality TV stars, and a
lot of people have ate off of that as well.
So you can never take away everything he's accomplished as
a wrestler, as a performers, as a pop star and
icon of all that type of stuff. But you also
can't get mad at people for feeling type of way
about the things that he said and done during his life.

(34:45):
I would necessarily say it ruins his legacy. Is just
part of his legacy now, like.

Speaker 3 (34:49):
You can talk about that to be your legacy though, yeah,
you can't talk about when with that dather you can
and then you know, you think about somebody's family too.

Speaker 2 (34:56):
It's not like f him.

Speaker 1 (34:58):
No, that's what I feel that for the most I thank.

Speaker 3 (35:00):
You for putting that into perspective. All right, Cas, I
know this is an important topic for you. Do you
have any personal interactions with Hulk Hogan.

Speaker 1 (35:06):
Yeah. My only interaction with ho Hogan is when I
was working there.

Speaker 3 (35:10):
All right, you know what We're going to talk about
that when we come back, if you don't mind, all right,
this way Up, Way Up with Angela Yee more now
what's up? His Way Up with Angela Yee and my
guy Kaz is guest hosting today. And I saw you
did some interviews with NBC and everything talking about uk
Hogan and his passing, how people are feeling mixed feelings

(35:32):
about it in the black community and in general, just
because there's other things that come with this legacy besides
just being this groundbreaking wrestler.

Speaker 2 (35:40):
And I want to hear your story.

Speaker 1 (35:42):
When I was working at WWE, right like the maybe
my third or fourth week into working there was the
time that whole Cogan came into the locker room to
apologize to the locker room about everything that leaked out
and everything. And you know, people were expecting a sort of,
you know, humble sort of approach to his apology, and
it didn't really feel like that. It almost kind of

(36:02):
sounded like no, it sounded more like, hey, don't get caught.
You never know who's recording you. It was never like
a I feel bad for like the people I've heard.

Speaker 3 (36:12):
That he feels like that that people were hurt. He
just feels bad. He got caught right, not.

Speaker 1 (36:15):
To say that he didn't eventually do that, Not to say,
you know, he did give his life to Christ and
all that type of stuff. So like as somebody who
follows Christ, if you if you give your life to
the Lord, I'm with you on that. But at that
point in time, somebody who grew up a whole cooking
fan and that's my first time seeing him, is him
coming in giving like a sort of half weird apology,
and it's like racially driven sort of thing. It was

(36:39):
just the most awkward, one of.

Speaker 3 (36:41):
The most all right, posted a little video, but I
know it wasn't really a tribute. And when we come back,
we have your last words, way up, get your voice heard.

Speaker 4 (36:58):
It is the last word on Way Up with Angela.

Speaker 3 (37:02):
Ye, what's up his Way up with Angela? Yeah, I'm
here with my guy Kazem. I know you're super busy.

Speaker 1 (37:06):

course performance by Action Bronson. Also my guys DNA, Tay Rock,
Saga Chess. They're gonna have a live fatal four way
rap battle as well.

Speaker 2 (37:27):

Speaker 1 (37:29):

put it in the stage. That's what Summer Bash is

It's going to be a great show. Got lots of
surprises in the store.

come appreciate you're taking the time out to come up
here in the midst of all of this, but you know,

a no judgment zone until it gets on the internet.
All right, well, this is your show, so you have

(38:12):
the last word.

Speaker 2 (38:13):
He secret end.

Speaker 6 (38:17):
I cheat it back, but I'll never know.

Speaker 1 (38:21):
I want to shoe a lighter.

Speaker 7 (38:22):
Oh my girlfriend Joyan lit until I want to say
that level and hope be good.
