the voice, Come on, dig me now. One and only
Steve Harvey got a radio show. Got a radio show
because God in the blessing.
Speaker 2 (02:13):
Business.
Speaker 7 (02:14):
Got a radio show because God is in a forgiving business.
Got a radio show because God will let you turn
your life around.
Speaker 2 (02:21):
Business.
Speaker 7 (02:22):
Got a radio show because God know better than you know. Yeah,
Steve Harvey got a radio show. Didn't see it coming,
but he did. I'm gonna share with you today a
principle of success. You know, it's it's important that we
get our lives together. I mean it really really is.
(02:43):
You know, to hereafter is exactly what it says is
to hereafter, and hopefully for the majority of us, that's
quite a way He's off. So what about how you
living today? How about it now. You know, often talk
to you in the morning about your relationship with God
that can never change. That is at the forefront and
(03:06):
the best thought process that I can give you. And
I know who I'm talking to on the radio. I'm
talking to a lot of people, man, who out there
just not sure. And I'm talking to a lot of
people out there man that's trying to pull it together.
In other words, you know, I'm talking to a lot
of people like myself. There is a principle of success
(03:31):
that is out there that if more people understood one
of the base this is just one of one of
the basic principles of success, you would have more success
in your life. And that principle is this, the more
people you help become successful, the more successful you become. Well,
the more people you help become successful, the more successful
(03:54):
you become. Because you are practicing helping your and as
you do unto others, then it's done unto you. You
build relationships. When you do that, people forget and success
that has to be relationships. There is no one person
in this world who is just successful all on their own.
(04:17):
You are successful, and successful people form relationships, and you've
got to really coddle these relationships. You've got to nurture
these relationships.
Speaker 2 (04:29):
They don't just happen. You don't just get cool with
people just cause you cool.
Speaker 7 (04:35):
No, you've got to do some cool things to these
people and for these people, for these people to be
cool with you when you need some cool. I don't
know if I'm explaining that right, but that's the best
way I can tell it to you. I'm just regular,
you know. I just speak like that. This is an
important principle to put into your life. The more people you.
Speaker 2 (04:55):
Help become successful, the more successful you become. You can look.
You have to say to people, hey, look I've done that.
Speaker 7 (05:04):
This is what you got to do. You got to
take some time out to share. You have to share information, experiences, thoughts.
You got to take a minute man to uplift somebody,
give them some encouragement.
Speaker 2 (05:18):
Hey man, you can do it. Don't give up. You
have no idea. You you you right now.
Speaker 7 (05:26):
You have no idea how significant you are to someone else,
how your words of encouragement could be the difference maker.
Today I'm talking about it's a person looking at you
that you don't even really know you, or you don't
really know them and you see them struggling with something,
just say, hey, you know what, I've been watching you
from afar. You gonna be all right, man, I see
(05:48):
some menu. Keep doing the right thing, man, you gonna
be alright. I had a meeting with a young man
for the first time, and this young man came into
my office and never met him. He has an internet service,
which anybody can teach me something about the internet, because
I know little too close to nothing.
Speaker 2 (06:09):
He was twenty seven.
Speaker 7 (06:10):
Years old, and he was amazingly bright at this and
I guess, you know, that's not that hard to impress me.
But the fluid speech pattern that he had about this
very very difficult subject. He was tossing around the terms
I had heard, but he was actually putting him in
(06:30):
sentences word made since to me. It's very fluid, very
sure of himself. When he was talking about this little thing,
A young dude twenty seven years old. And when he
got through, the woman that had introduced me to him,
I was leaving my office and she was going to
escort him out, and I turned around and I said,
young man, I said, what.
Speaker 2 (06:52):
Size pants are you?
Speaker 7 (06:54):
And I guessed it because I've been dressing for long,
I've been all them sizes. I said, you about a
thirty ways? He said, yes, Sir. I said, what side
shoe you waisted nine and a half? I said, what
side shirt is? At a medium? He said, I really
like extra large. I said, well, that's too big for you.
You just want to look lousy and bagging. And so
(07:16):
I was talking to him. Man I said, Man, I'm
gonna help you out. I said, man, because let me
tell you something. You a sharp young dude. Man, you
are raisor sharp. I said, You've really really impressed me today.
I said, And you know what, young brother, I said,
You're gonna make a lot of money one day. Man,
I said, but I want you to get your image up.
I want you to I want you to look at
(07:37):
how you dress because you're coming into professional people's office
and you're talking about doing something for them, and it
takes money to make it happen. I got to give
you money to make this happen. What you cannot afford
to do is look like you need every dime of
this money. See you get when you go in there
and you talking about money with another person, the person
(07:58):
that's gonna give you this money, cannot you can't look
like you need every dime of this money, you know,
so you got to start presenting yourself. And that's all
I just said to him. I just said, man, but
you know what you shop, You're gonna make yourself some money.
I'm gonna help you out a little bit. I walked out.
I went on bout my business. Later on that afternoon,
I had a meeting with the woman that bought him
in and she said, mister Harvey, you have no idea
(08:20):
what you just did.
Speaker 2 (08:21):
He said, his eyes just teared up when you walked out.
Speaker 7 (08:24):
He said, Wow, man, that man don't even know me,
and he just encouraged me. He said, man, I always
thought I might could make it, but he said I ain't.
Never had nobody like him tell me I could make it.
And just hearing it from him, man, that's all right.
I'm gonna get my clothes together. But you know, I've
been homeless. And then he started telling the woman that
(08:47):
he had been homeless, and so, you know, then she
telling me that now I'm fit to cry, because you know,
I've been in that hole before, and I just and
I'm just sharing that story with y'all just to say
you don't know.
Speaker 2 (08:58):
Who you talking to.
Speaker 7 (09:01):
But what does it hurt if you just extend your
hand to a person and give them a moment of encouragement.
See this young brother right here, he could come back
one day and be a major benefit to me because
he has a skill set that I don't have.
Speaker 2 (09:18):
Oh.
Speaker 7 (09:18):
I might be old, mister Steve Harvey, but hey, guess what,
I don't know nothing about what this young cat know.
And he'dne went off and educated himself. And just a
word of encouragement from somebody like yourself can make all
the difference in another person's life.
Speaker 2 (09:35):
So remember on your way to the top.
Speaker 7 (09:38):
The more people that you help become successful, the more
successful you become. It's a requirement of God that you
do that. That ain't Steve Harvey talking. If you read
your Bible. Somebody got a Bible verse that backed me up,
emailed it to me today. If you know what it is,
I don't know, but y'all do out.
Speaker 1 (09:55):
There all right, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
Speaker 7 (10:04):

Are you not thankful for just man being able to
rhyme and reason, being able to just see your children?
Speaker 2 (10:28):
Man? How good is that?
Speaker 7 (10:30):
Ain't you glad God just forgave you? How about that
one man just forgave you? How about the times when
you knew you was doing wrong and he just let
it go, just gave you some grace and faith?

how it didn't reach it swung as hard as I could.

My name is from the District Attorney's office. Yes, Hi,
How are you giving you a call today?
Speaker 4 (15:00):
Man?
Speaker 9 (15:00):
I'm trying to get some updates from you. Your husband, mister,
is he still not working at this point?
Speaker 2 (15:07):
No, sir? Okay? How long has he been out of
work so far?
Speaker 4 (15:10):
Ma'am?
Speaker 2 (15:11):
Could you could you give me an update.
Speaker 5 (15:12):
On this first of the year January?
Speaker 9 (15:15):
Okay, all right, here's what we're having. The problems that
we're having. You have a son, I think it's his
name is as well, fourteen years old, am I right?
Speaker 2 (15:26):
Okay?
Speaker 9 (15:26):
The child support is not being paid from mister for
the for mister young and we're trying to get this
thing rectified.
Speaker 4 (15:35):
Now.
Speaker 9 (15:35):
The problem that we're going to have, and the reason
why we're giving you a call is considering that your
husband hasn't worked since the first of the year. And
I haven't done the research yet. I'm just I'm just
not pulling up your file. I haven't done the research
to see how many months in the rears he is
on child support?
Speaker 5 (15:52):
Is this starting once he lost his giant?
Speaker 2 (15:55):
Okay?
Speaker 9 (15:55):
Well, the problem that we're going to have is they're
going to start taking uh child support actually, and I
hate to give you this news out of your check
until I don't.
Speaker 5 (16:06):
Understand how that's because I have my own kids. I
don't understand that.
Speaker 2 (16:10):
I understand, but they're gonna be garnishing your check, ma'am.
Speaker 9 (16:12):
Uh until this until your husband can get this thing
back on his feet and get it rectified and get
him up to pars for of all the payments that
are hurt.
Speaker 5 (16:20):
And when will this be taking place? Because if that's
the case, I'm not gonna be working because that's not
gonna happen. I have my own children, so I don't
understand how that's so. I don't have anything to do
with child for it or anything like that. And if
that's the case, I'm not gonna be working as right now.
Speaker 9 (16:35):
The garnishing of the check is gonna come from you
and you are at the hospital. Correct, No, that's not
it's not where you work.
Speaker 5 (16:41):
I don't. I'm not gonna be working as him right now.
That's what I just tell you. So y'all do whatever
you have to do, and I'll do whatever I have
to do on my nd.
Speaker 2 (16:48):
Okay, well, hold on, you're willing to quit your job.
I'm not understanding this.
Speaker 5 (16:52):
You're sure why because I'm not going to be taking
care of someone else's kids and not have my own.
So how that's right? So somebody else can take your
minds because I'm not going.
Speaker 4 (17:01):
To be doing it.
Speaker 5 (17:01):
You're so right?
Speaker 2 (17:02):
All right?
Speaker 9 (17:03):
Well, I mean, I'm just you know, don't I don't
want you to be upset with you. I don't want
you to be upset with me.

I'm gonna let I'm gonna let you know this is
a bit of information. You're still gonna if you're quitting
your job. Man, you guys are still going to be
liable for the child support.
Speaker 5 (17:20):
Okay, well that's fade, not you guys, because it's not
my children, sir. Okay, it's not you guys. He will
be liable. Okay, okay, because I don't I mean, can
I step you hold on moment because I need to
step outside. If that's okay, or there's a number I
can contact you back.
Speaker 2 (17:36):
Okay, are you able to step outside right now?
Speaker 5 (17:39):
Yes, but I'm gonna get on the elevator and it's
gonna kind of so to call.
Speaker 2 (17:43):
Let's do this.
Speaker 9 (17:44):
Why don't you step outside and I wait for you
to call give me about forty five seconds, but I'm
going to give a call to my manager on this situation.
Speaker 1 (17:50):

Speaker 9 (18:04):

bottom of everything. I couldn't get my manager on the phone,
but I'll keep trying.
Speaker 2 (18:10):
I just want to know. I mean that that's I'm
just a message messenger.
Speaker 5 (18:15):
I hate I know you are, and I hate to
be so short with you, but I don't understand because
we're not even getting enough income. I'm coming in as
of right now, and you're speaking of I have three
children that I'm struggling to take care of on my
owners time somebody from the district. But and you're speaking
of that, you're going to be deducting money for I'm

certain sumpthing? What's your name?
Speaker 2 (18:42):

care of some missions. We're part of the district attorney. Yeah,

Speaker 13 (18:58):
She works with the office out the point.
Speaker 2 (19:00):
Okay, speak with your sister. Let me speak with your sister.
Speaker 5 (19:03):
Man, So what do you I mean, how is this
going to be done? Because that's not gonna leave me
and casts to be able to support my own kids.
Speaker 1 (19:11):
Well, I mean in my own home.
Speaker 9 (19:13):
I understand that, you know, maybe this is a problem
with having a person hanging around.
Speaker 5 (19:20):
Raised to see about his kids all their life. This
is a jealous mother that decided to off them eighteen
years that she wanted to do.
Speaker 4 (19:32):

night the BET Awards, hosted by Kevin Hart. Yes, we're
gonna talk about all the highlights, all of our favorite moments,
maybe even go back memories past some of our favorite
BET Award moments.
Speaker 1 (22:39):
But right now we'll do that at the top of
right now, it's time to ask the CLO Steve Harvey.
Speaker 3 (22:44):
All right, Steve Valerie in Birmingham, she said, I went
to the bathroom while I was out with my husband.
I saw a coworker and talked to him briefly. On
my way back to the table. My husband said, I
disrespect did him?
Speaker 4 (23:00):
Am I not.
Speaker 1 (23:01):
Supposed to greet a coworker just because he's a male.
Speaker 2 (23:05):
Well, I don't think that was disrespectful. You just spoke.
Speaker 7 (23:08):
And if you was standing up there laughing and key
kid to stay with your husband, then that's a whole
nother thing. So I don't know if you're leaving that
part out. If you was over there laughing and key kidding,
child boy, you're so pleased and they're touching him with
laughing all that. That is disrespectful because your husband's sitting
there and you over there laughing with another man, and
(23:30):
you're supposed to be having dinner with your husband. But
you could have spoke to him and just say, hey,
how you doing, I'm here.
Speaker 2 (23:36):
With my husband.
Speaker 7 (23:36):
If you'd brought him over there and introduced your husband,
you just nix the whole thing. But you probably didn't
do that. Hey, my husband is here, Come and meet
my husband. Your husband would have felt better about it,
but you probably didn't do that. And then you just
walked back over there. Oh that was so, he said,
So who was that?
Speaker 4 (23:56):

Speaker 3 (24:33):
What is so wrong about wanting my whole bed to
myself every night?
Speaker 1 (24:39):
Yes, Christy, that's for him.
Speaker 7 (24:45):
Yeah, he feels like trash though, and in his house.

Speaker 3 (25:53):

what I do. I don't want to spend the night.
Speaker 7 (26:06):

In Orlando, my wife changed her pass code on her
phone and her email password.
Speaker 1 (26:45):
I asked her, why did she do that? She asked me,
why I care?
Speaker 3 (26:50):
Is she trying to get back at me because I
use pass codes on my devices?
Speaker 1 (26:55):
Or is she possibly talking to another man?
Speaker 4 (27:00):
Well?
Speaker 2 (27:00):
Bro, you got you got past codes on yours? Do
you give them to her?
Speaker 4 (27:06):
Now?
Speaker 7 (27:06):
If you give them her yours, she should give you hers.
But if you ain't giving her yours, then what you
what you want her to do?
Speaker 2 (27:15):
Ain't no fun? When the rabbit got the gun?
Speaker 1 (27:17):
No, it is right two way street with that.
Speaker 2 (27:23):
Ring up email business? What's in that?
Speaker 8 (27:26):
I said? I only read my own email. Why don't
go go in here and read yours. What's in that?
Speaker 2 (27:31):
This boy right here han't been married no time?
Speaker 1 (27:33):
Go on, take your call, okay, put.
Speaker 7 (27:36):
In about emails. You don't worry about no emails. You
need to try to figure out how to get this fresh.
Speaker 3 (27:43):
Leave Junior alone about that fist. All right, let's move
on Raina and Montclair. Our twenty one year old son
needs the air conditioner fixed in its car.
Speaker 1 (27:52):
My husband said the.
Speaker 3 (27:53):
Heat will build character and teach him not to take
things for granted.
Speaker 1 (27:58):
It will be a hot summer.
Speaker 3 (28:00):
So should I go against my husband's decision and get
me fixed?
Speaker 7 (28:05):
No, stop getting in the way of these men who
are raising these boys.
Speaker 2 (28:11):
No, don't go behind your husband's back.
Speaker 1 (28:14):
But it's hot out there.
Speaker 7 (28:15):
The baby got all right, that's all right. He gonna
be just puying. He be switching twenty one. He ain't
no baby. Let that window down. He ain't stupid enough.
Keep the windows rolled up till he die?
Speaker 4 (28:25):
Is he?
Speaker 2 (28:26):
Crack your window and get get you some ap boy, by.
Speaker 9 (28:29):
Full fifty air conditions, four windows down, fifty miles an hour,
you're gonna get some air blowing in that.
Speaker 2 (28:34):
That's that folk fit here now.
Speaker 1 (28:36):
So you guys agreed with the dass decision.
Speaker 9 (28:39):
Yeah, absolutely, one hundred absolutely wow, and don't call when
you get a flatter. He's been taking your all your Yeah,
you've been you've been taking money going to the club,
buying drinks.
Speaker 2 (28:52):
Take all that drink money, fix your air condition.
Speaker 1 (28:58):
Fixing the air condition that car is expense of y'all.
Speaker 2 (29:01):
And he got to get his hustle on.
Speaker 4 (29:03):
Come.
Speaker 7 (29:06):
I told, okay, he still got a car. Yeah, help
my first car. I ain't even have app. I didn't
either to keep it. One hundred live upstairs. He probably
lived on. You could actually buy a car that didn't
have air conditioner.
Speaker 1 (29:22):
Yeah, yeah, I didn't have any either.
Speaker 2 (29:24):
All right.
Speaker 3 (29:25):
So the dads on the show say this is building character,
and y'all agree.
Speaker 1 (29:30):
Well, rainer, your son.
Speaker 7 (29:33):
Punk let him last. He gonna be hot, you know
what I mean. Time us, I've been hot as a heel.
I didn't run the air conditioner because I need to
save my gas in my car.
Speaker 2 (29:44):
How about that.
Speaker 9 (29:46):
I didn't rolled around my shirt off and had it
hanging in the back and put it on what I
got where I was going.
Speaker 7 (29:52):
He gonna beat this fine, all right? Well that's how
dry cleaned my clothes. When I was homeless, how I
would wear a shirt and get sweaty. Put it on
the cold hanger, put it on that little loop, tape
it to that loop and hanging out that window. Button
it up, go down the highway about seventy yeah. Now
had the air blow all that funk out that shirt. Yeah,
(30:16):
about seventy seventy miles an hour for three hours. That
shirt is nature fresh, yes, literally full. Start the jam,

to me.
Speaker 7 (40:51):
For those of us who have been fortunate to have
healthy children, I can't imagine what a parent must go
through to have a child that's stricken with cancer.
Speaker 2 (41:03):
That's got to be a horrific moment. Now, if you

Speaker 4 (41:30):
We know that.

And we found some cool father's stay questions from Liveboldenbloom
dot com. So are you guys ready for these questions?
Old and Bloom and who whom you especially or Yeah,
Junior you can get in on this too, Junior. What's
the most important brand new daddy, what would you say
(41:54):
is the most important lesson? You've learned from your parents.
But you learned from your parents from my parents.
Speaker 10 (42:01):
You talking about my parents. Yes, don't go talk to
the police. Don't say nothing to the police. Shut up,
get you get in the room and be quiet. Closure up,
you talk about my parents.
Speaker 8 (42:16):
That's the first lesson, live my senior.
Speaker 9 (42:25):
All I asked you, son, is just give it, y'all.
If you give it y'all, that's all I want. But
that's all I ad. Just give it, y'all. You're gonna
be all right. I'll give me your best, give me
your best every time. Give it y'all. That's all you do, all.
Speaker 2 (42:39):
Right, yep?
Speaker 1 (42:41):
The most important lesson you learned, Steve from your parents that.
Speaker 7 (42:44):
I wasn't supposed to be here. My dad and constantly
told me that my mama had me. At forty two,
I was talking to my father one time. I sit down,
I need to talk to you. Say you can go
ahead and talk to me. But you do know you
ain't even be here. I don't know why you keep
(43:06):
coming in here. You ain't even supposed to be here.
Speaker 1 (43:09):
What I love though. You all had your dad, so
I love that.
Speaker 7 (43:13):
I love that.
Speaker 12 (43:14):
Yeah, how did your dad and your upbringing impact your
view of the world.
Speaker 10 (43:21):
You know, my father man very hard working man, and
he taught me how to be a great provider, just
how to provide.
Speaker 2 (43:28):
I had learned that.
Speaker 10 (43:29):
I can honestly say I never had to go without
a lot of things because my father went to work,
and he went to work every single day. He worked
twelve and sixteen hours. So I wasn't really allowed to
go mess up at school, even though I did, but
that would hurt him because you're not seeing what I'm doing.
Speaker 8 (43:43):
I'm providing.
Speaker 1 (43:44):
Okay, I like that.
Speaker 4 (43:45):
I like it.
Speaker 1 (43:46):
Yeah, tell my father.
Speaker 2 (43:48):
Saw me how to work.
Speaker 12 (43:49):
Man.
Speaker 9 (43:50):
I was working at nineteen years old, so I was
learning how to run a drill or song everything tracking yard.
Speaker 2 (43:59):
I was doing all that.
Speaker 9 (44:00):
There was nothing I could not do with my hands.
My daddy taught me how to work, and we worked, man.
We worked like I don't know if you ever seen them,
a little aluminum ten buildings that people used to have
in their backyard for storage.
Speaker 2 (44:12):
We used to put them in all the yeah for
Montgomery Wards.
Speaker 9 (44:16):
We used to put those ships together, and my daddy
would leave me there, and by the time he come back,
I had I got the shed put together. And I'm
watch him pay my daddy about two hundred dollars for
putting it together.
Speaker 2 (44:26):
And then here come my fifteen dollars. I said, I be,
this is what I got. I had to put the
whole shed together.
Speaker 4 (44:38):
I know.
Speaker 7 (44:40):
My father was my everything. Taught me everything I know
about manhood. Today, I am who I am because he
was who he was. Now your question was, how did
you How did your father affect your.
Speaker 1 (44:52):
World view, your view of the world exactly.
Speaker 2 (44:55):
I wasn't allowed to have no view of the world.
We just need this. See what I see, and that's all.
Speaker 7 (45:02):
No worry about what they're doing over there in Spain
and all that. That ain't your biousness. You don't have
no worldview. You just see what I'm You just better
look at what I'm trying to show you, and all
this world view you get that later. Well, right now,
we're digging this hole, gonna put this post and make
these sense.
Speaker 2 (45:21):
That's your view.
Speaker 7 (45:23):
Look down in that hole, make sure it's deep enough.
That was I wasn't allowed to have a worldview.
Speaker 12 (45:32):
There you have it. Yeah, all right, last one, guys,
we're asking these questions as we approach Father's Day or
talk about it. Who has been your most influential mentor
or role model.
Speaker 2 (45:46):
In your career? Mister Steve.
Speaker 7 (46:00):
Yeah, Steve has been the most drama for me in
my life. I mean, yeah, Tommy has been my biggest disappointment.
Speaker 9 (46:10):
I know.
Speaker 12 (46:11):
Coming up next springing up, Tommy, the nephew will have
his prank phone call.

Speaker 2 (47:19):
You know who can nobody throw you?
Speaker 1 (47:26):
But it's wrong with you.
Speaker 7 (47:28):

your wife. I'm gonna tell you right now, you can throw.
I'm moving.
Speaker 2 (47:40):
She had up being up there calling or base five.
Speaker 1 (47:44):
You cannot leave your flyers.
Speaker 8 (47:46):
She will ball?
Speaker 2 (47:47):
Who can't? What's the limit? What's throw her? As soon

Speaker 1 (48:46):

Speaker 2 (48:50):
All right, bottom of the pierod Man, Let's go, cat dog.
Speaker 4 (49:00):
Hello, Hello, Hello, Hello, yeah, can you hear me? I'm
trying to reach Angela? Angela?

who're you.
Speaker 13 (49:14):
Trying to reach?
Speaker 4 (49:15):
I'm trying to reach Angela? This Angela?
Speaker 2 (49:17):
Oh yeah?
Speaker 4 (49:18):
This yee Hi Angela. This is Chip Chip. I'm the
new camp director for the cheerleading camp for the summer.
Oh hi, Chip, what can I do for you? Just
want to give you a courtesy call your daughter. You've
got her signed up for four weeks with the camp,
right yeah. Yeah, this is you guys, third year being
a part of the camp, yep.
Speaker 13 (49:36):
And she's really excited. She lives coming to the camp
and we think it's a great thing for how to
be involved in what's up.
Speaker 4 (49:42):
Okay, you guys just finished the whole cheerleading season too,
am I right? The competition season?
Speaker 13 (49:47):
Yes, just coming off of that right right?
Speaker 4 (49:50):
Okay, Well we're getting ready for the summer and everybody's
excited about coming out and being a part of what's
going on. So here's what I wanted to give you
a little bit. Like I said, I'm the new camp director.
I was uh just starting this job. I got a
few notes that that were given to me about about
so I wanted to give you a call and see
if I could talk to you about it.
Speaker 13 (50:10):
A few notes giving to you about it.
Speaker 4 (50:12):
Yeah, just a couple of notes. I don't think it's
anything that we can make sure is okay?
Speaker 13 (50:15):
What kind of notes?
Speaker 4 (50:16):
Well, it's been brought to my attention that some of
the parents whose daughters are out there as well, there's
going to be there this summer a little concerned about
her being on top of the pyramid, that she's uh
is a little heavy? Should sheat uh?
Speaker 3 (50:33):
Right?
Speaker 13 (50:33):
Way, wait, wait, liber way, hold home. You calling me
about some some other parents and saying about how big
my child is or how much my child? Ways?
Speaker 4 (50:45):
Is that? What I wanted to let you know is
is we're going to put together a base.
Speaker 13 (50:52):
Oh no, you ain't gonna put no bab I don't
know already take my money? And what you say? Your
name is Chip? And how long have you been to
the because I was just up there two weeks ago
and they told me that she was gonna be the
same position that she was last year.
Speaker 5 (51:07):
Because that is what worked.
Speaker 13 (51:08):
That's the formation that works.
Speaker 4 (51:09):
So I don't even know what we Supposedly that some
of the girls are complaining that she's too heavy to
hold up. So that's what seems to be the problem
in there. They're not getting a strong enough PERMD And I'm.
Speaker 13 (51:19):
Going now, wait a minute, wait a minute. I know, well,
she ain't the biggest one I felt. Have you been?
Speaker 12 (51:25):
I fail?
Speaker 13 (51:26):
My child is not the biggest child I feel when
you because obviously you have not saved these cheerleaders. It's
somebody so old I felt.
Speaker 4 (51:33):
Okay, hang on, say Angela, I want you to calm
down a bit.
Speaker 13 (51:36):
No, I ain't nobody gonna calm down because I'm not
already paid my money. And this that I be talking
about what parents? What Parson said?
Speaker 5 (51:43):
Something is it?
Speaker 4 (51:44):
Is it Carrie, ma'am, I'm not. I'm not gonna state
who it is, but let's just say it was several Paris.
Speaker 13 (51:50):
Has got something to say about my child and her
position on the cheerleading squad.
Speaker 5 (51:55):
Because if you.
Speaker 13 (51:55):
Ain't gonna park up no name, then I'm gonna say
what you're calling me about. I'll tell you one thing
when she gets outsel I done paid my money. She
better not be on no base. She better be in
the air. I guarantee you that. Right now I've been
hanging with you, ain't nobody said nothing to me about
and wait and all this.
Speaker 4 (52:14):
Okay, Angela, can you hear me? I just wanted you
to hear me clearly. I haven't seen these young ladies yet.
Once I see them, I will critique what I think.
Speaker 13 (52:22):
You don't even need to be calling me because you
ain't even seen nothing. So you calling me with some
he says she's from some other parents that's been skinned
and grinted in my face, and they now wanted it
saying nothing to me. They have been in my house,
we have parties, always giving this competition every week, in
every other day, and they couldn't say nothing to me
about my baby. I tell you what, why don't you
call your girls on the three way? Miss the chill?
(52:44):
If you can't call him on the three now I
got the normals, I call him on the three way.
Speaker 4 (52:48):
Different Okay, okay man. All I wanted to do was
make you aware of the possibility that she may be
a god.
Speaker 13 (52:55):
Thank you you have made me aware. And I guarantee
you that if I bring my big yellow up and
come to the practice. I guarantee you you want to
be no base how much you want to bet on.
Speaker 4 (53:04):
That, mister Chip, Look you gonna quit holler at me?
And I told you I would try to take a
look at these jils. But I'll tell you what your thought.
Is gonna be a face or she's gonna be a
back support, whichever I've decided, she's going to.
Speaker 5 (53:15):
Do cool in them.
Speaker 13 (53:16):
Do you think you all of that?
Speaker 4 (53:18):
Mister Chip?
Speaker 13 (53:19):
You no, that's not how it's gonna go down, as
a matter of fact. As a matter of fact, miss Chill,
are you at the registration table today?
Speaker 4 (53:27):
I'm here now while people are registering? Yes I am.
Speaker 13 (53:30):
Let me turn it around.
Speaker 5 (53:31):
I tell you what.
Speaker 13 (53:32):
I'm on my way up there. Why don't you and
the parents that's been complaining, Why don't all y'all come
to the table and we don't have come to Jesus
meeting about whether it's gonna be for this coming up
freezing because I'm not gonna tolerate this. I've been told you,
I haven't paid my money and this high's going down?
Speaker 4 (53:49):
Gain weight? What what is it to you, whether game
wait or not?
Speaker 13 (53:53):
What do they have to do with her chip meeting.
Speaker 4 (53:56):
Do you agree that probably bigger than most of the
girls on the team.
Speaker 13 (54:00):
It's not bigger than most of the girls on the team,
mommy daughter, it's bigger than and she wasn't no base
last year. They hiked up, y gonna get up to it.
We all just gonna be big and pumped up in
the air. I'm turned around and I'm here to sig
a little tracky table.
Speaker 4 (54:17):
Before you get here. There's something else I need to
tell you.
Speaker 13 (54:19):
You ain't got to tell me something. All you gotta
do is have you and the pairs around that table
when I get there, because I'm on my way up
there right now. Then y'all can say all y'all.

introduce it the Handai Ionic nine, a three row electric
suv with over three hundred miles of ultra fast charging
capability and lots of space.
Speaker 9 (56:03):

for you here. It is the Strawberry Letter.
Speaker 1 (56:49):
Thank you, nephew. Subject.
Speaker 12 (56:50):
I don't think we're really cousins. Dear Stephen Shirley. In
high school, I liked a girl and she liked me.
We talked on the phone and hung out together all
all the time, and her mom and my mom were
close too, so she always was at my house or
I was at hers. By the time we graduated from
high school, we were even closer, and I told her
(57:12):
that I wanted her to be more than my friend.
She's always been really close to her mom and tells
her everything, so she told her mom that she and
I were dating. Her mom told her that I was
her cousin. When she told me we were related, I
felt strange because we had kissed a few times. We
never questioned it. Though we stopped dating and remained very
(57:33):
close cousins. We still did everything together and told each
other everything, and by the time we were in our
mid twenties, we had both had a bunch of bad
relationships and always ended up back together. I realized that
I loved my quote unquote cousin and she's a perfect
woman for me. So I finally asked my mom if
(57:54):
we were really related. My mom said, we're related somewhere
down the line, but there is no way for us
to find out now because all of the older relatives
are deceased. I told my mom that I'm in love
with her and I want to be with her. My
mom told me to follow my heart. I couldn't wait
to tell my cousin how I really felt, and I
was relieved when she told me she's been in love
(58:15):
with me forever. Since then, we've made love a few times,
and I asked her to marry me. She wants to
do a search of our family tree first. I don't
think we're cousins, and this is only postponing our happiness.
Should we search for answers or not? Hmm, Well, I'm
with you on this one.
Speaker 1 (58:34):
I don't know. I just don't believe your guys are cousins.
I don't believe.
Speaker 12 (58:37):
I think maybe you know her mom told her that
because she didn't want you guys dating for whatever reason.
And you know, I don't want you guys, not because
I don't want it to be true or anything. I
just don't believe your mom. Both of them are telling
the truth. Even your mom said you were related somewhere
down the line, she didn't even know, and she said,
(58:58):
there's no one in your family realidated. But I mean,
there are ways you can search to find out. It's
just I don't know, suspicious the way they handled everything
and the way they told you, And for that very reason, Yes,
I think you should find out if you're related. I
think you should do the search. I mean, knowledge is power.
The truth will set you free. What if you want
(59:19):
to have children down the line, you know, this is
something you should know, whether or not you're related.
Speaker 1 (59:26):
There's a lot to consider.
Speaker 12 (59:27):
You need the fact so you can make an informed,
a clear headed, right decision, and nothing just based on
your emotions.
Speaker 1 (59:34):
Like your mom told you, just to follow your heart.
Speaker 12 (59:37):
It sounds like you don't care though, if your cousins
are not, and your mom certainly doesn't care. But your
girl wants to know and it's important to her, so
I think you should do the search, and you know,
whatever you guys find out, let the chips fall, you
know where they may. I don't think you're really cousins.
I don't know then, and if you find out that
(59:59):
you're not, then you can move forward.
Speaker 7 (01:00:01):
Steve, Well, this is a short response for me, because
I don't even understand. There's no advice to give in
this letter, Like you don't know, I'm to have sections
why I break down what somebody said and what the
other person said.
Speaker 2 (01:00:15):
Is none of that in him?
Speaker 1 (01:00:17):
And he just wants to know should they search? That's
his quest.
Speaker 2 (01:00:19):
Well, anyway, it ain't about that to me.
Speaker 7 (01:00:25):
If if your mother, if the woman that she's really
close to, and y'all been over each other's house, if
that ain't your mother's sister, and and that woman that's
not you the sister this girl that you're dating, and okay,
let me let me put you the woman and your
(01:00:45):
mama are not sisters.
Speaker 2 (01:00:48):
And then her daughter is the woman you love, that
ain't your cousin. So now that's.
Speaker 7 (01:00:57):
Established right there now, mis y'all cousin somewhere down the line,
black people.
Speaker 2 (01:01:05):
Know what's happening. How far you'll get lamb.
Speaker 7 (01:01:08):
If all of them is dead, black people know what's
happening now. What didn't happen is one of the men
in the family and strayed off somewhere, had a child
out of wedlocked and one of your aunts or mama's
is them now?
Speaker 2 (01:01:29):
Everybody dead? Stuff?
Speaker 7 (01:01:31):
Y'all got bibles, Open up them with old bibles and
read who who?
Speaker 2 (01:01:35):
You ain't gonna see your name in there.
Speaker 7 (01:01:40):
Now once you don't see your name, This open and shutcase.
You know all the old people dead? Well, hot man,
So what are we.
Speaker 2 (01:01:49):
Talking about here?
Speaker 4 (01:01:50):
So?
Speaker 7 (01:01:50):
I don't really think it's a case of if you
do the search, what you're gonna find, you're not gonna
find anything.
Speaker 2 (01:01:59):
Then you read you in love with the girl. She
in love with the girl? I mean she in love
with you? I mean what, y'all what if.
Speaker 12 (01:02:08):
They want kids? They're too far down the line for
that to affect anything you're saying.
Speaker 2 (01:02:14):
I think they're way way down.
Speaker 12 (01:02:18):
Removed.
Speaker 7 (01:02:19):
Let me tell you something. It was something dangerous. The
boy's mother would not have said follow your heart.
Speaker 12 (01:02:25):
But the other mother was the one that said their cousins.
I think she said it because she didn't want them
to date.
Speaker 7 (01:02:31):
She just said that, Well, okay, tell her mama asked
or ask her mama how. But she didn't even tell
how these She can't even tell how these other two
is related. The two women wants their relationship.
Speaker 1 (01:02:47):
They're just they're just really close.
Speaker 7 (01:02:51):
Cousin.
Speaker 1 (01:02:52):
Yeah, but they did it.
Speaker 2 (01:02:58):
Right, yea, they said the letter, the letter.
Speaker 12 (01:03:01):
We'll have you card two of Stevenment coming up at
twenty three minutes to have to be our subject. I
don't think we're really cousins. We'll get back into it
right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
Speaker 2 (01:03:20):
Do you think astronauts fight over elbow room?
Speaker 7 (01:03:22):
Probably because advanced tech doesn't always mean more space. Until now,
introduce it the Hondai Ionic nine, a three row electric
suv with over three hundred miles of range, ultra fast
charging capability, and lots of space.
Speaker 9 (01:03:38):
The all new Hondai Ionic nine face in an EV
Visit Hondai USA dot com for more details. EPA estimated
rings for Owing nine based on fully charged batteries for
comparison purpose only. Actual rings will vary based on several factors.
Speaker 12 (01:03:51):
All right, come on, Steve, Let's recap today's interesting strawberry
letters subject, I don't think we're really cousins, all right,
This guy.
Speaker 7 (01:03:59):
Was in high school. He liked the girl, and then
she liked him. They talked on the phone, hung out
together all the time. Her mom and my mom were
close too, so she was always at my house. Never
once in this letter does it say her mom and
his mom was related. By the time they graduated high school,
(01:04:22):
we were even closer. I told her he want to
be more than friends. She's always been really close to
her mom and tells everything. So she told her mom
she and I were dating. Her mom told her I
was her cousin. But your mama ain't related to the boys.
Speaker 1 (01:04:42):
Mama, they're just clumbed.
Speaker 7 (01:04:44):
So now where that come from? Well, she told me
we related. I felt strange because I had kissed a
few times. We never questioned it. Told we stopped dating
and remained close everything together. Then they went through a
bunch your bad relationships and always ended up back together.
And then he said, I realized I loved my cousin
(01:05:08):
and she's a perfect woman for me. So this dude
go and ask his momy if they really related. The
mother said, y'all related somewhere down the line, But ain't
no way to find out because.
Speaker 2 (01:05:21):
All the older relatives are dead. I did, well, okay,
when's we talking about this folk?
Speaker 7 (01:05:28):
I told my mom that I'm in love with her
and I want to be with her. My mom told
me follow my heart. So then he ran and told
the girl who is he thinks his cousin, how it
really felt. And he was relieved when she told me
she been in.
Speaker 2 (01:05:42):
Love with me forever.
Speaker 7 (01:05:44):
Well, then since then they'd have made love a few times,
and I asked her to marry me. She wants to
do a search of our family tree first because she
don't want to come up get in bad. You know,
then half these people you think it's dead, gonna show
up at the wedd Well, it ain't this strange, you know.
Speaker 2 (01:06:04):
I'm Virtue's least.
Speaker 4 (01:06:09):
You know.
Speaker 7 (01:06:10):
Frederick was your uncle, great great great great uncle, Frederick
Frederick Douglas.
Speaker 2 (01:06:17):
Boy, you gotta afro just like you be. So she
wants to do a search and to think.
Speaker 7 (01:06:24):
And he said, I don't think we cousins, and this
is only postponing our happiness.
Speaker 2 (01:06:30):
Should we search for answers or not? Okay, let me
explain something to you, son.
Speaker 7 (01:06:35):
When you get through searching, it ain't gonna change one
thing you feel about this girl. Come on, boy, when
you get through searching, it ain't gonna erase the fact
that y'all in love with each other and y'all being together.
Speaker 2 (01:06:52):
It ain't gonna erase nothing, no matter what the search say.
Speaker 7 (01:06:55):
And if you find out you somewhere way down the line,
how far do on the line is it?
Speaker 4 (01:07:01):
Now?
Speaker 2 (01:07:01):
How many people got to die?
Speaker 4 (01:07:04):
See?
Speaker 2 (01:07:05):
Well, are you ever did? Is dead?
Speaker 4 (01:07:11):
Down?
Speaker 2 (01:07:12):
The line is deep? But your mother and her mother
ain't even related, So what are y'all talking about?
Speaker 4 (01:07:21):
See?
Speaker 12 (01:07:21):
I think her mother didn't want them to date because
immediately when she told him that, they stopped dating.
Speaker 7 (01:07:29):
If there's no relation between the two friends, well that
could be happening because maybe they just friends and the
two kids and other families.
Speaker 1 (01:07:41):
Yeah, I mean, yeah, that's a possibility.
Speaker 4 (01:07:45):
You know.
Speaker 12 (01:07:45):
That's why I don't think their cousins. I don't think
it will hurt anything to do the search because.
Speaker 2 (01:07:50):
What see the problem with that is we're talking about
two mothers. Though. See, once you have mothers involved and
ain't no, you ain't in the family.
Speaker 7 (01:08:00):
Mean, this woman is the mother of the boy. Your
heart is the mother of the girl. Right, So, how
are these two kids related? How am I missing something?
Speaker 1 (01:08:20):
It could be through Could it be through marriage? I
don't know.
Speaker 7 (01:08:24):
Two women were married to the same brothers. Are some
friends that could happen.
Speaker 1 (01:08:31):
But now, yeah, I don't think they're I just don't
think they're related.
Speaker 2 (01:08:36):
What that test you take? If you had that test
one time? What is the name of that thing? Ancestry doctor?
That's it right there?
Speaker 1 (01:08:45):
I just did one. I just did a test.
Speaker 2 (01:08:49):
I just did it. I've had people do mind for me.
Speaker 12 (01:08:54):
So that's what I'm saying. You don't have to have
living relatives, you know. So his mom said, everybody's dead
to prove whether or not there, I.
Speaker 7 (01:09:01):
Can find stuff on my mother's side, but it goes
back to my father and it stops. So if down
the line ain't here, you can still find out.
Speaker 2 (01:09:12):
We're going he love it though, Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:09:20):
She loves him. She wants She's the one that wants
to know. I mean you do have to consider. Yeah,
you have the smaller children and everything. You know, are
you out, Steve, You're done well?
Speaker 2 (01:09:34):
I told you.
Speaker 1 (01:09:37):
Because you got awfully quiet right there is.
Speaker 7 (01:09:40):
Hard to raise anyway, That's the truth. You said, well, yeah,
you're gonna have.
Speaker 2 (01:09:47):
A situation with there ain't nothing wrong with him?
Speaker 1 (01:09:52):
Yes, all right, listen, guys.

eight three three.
Speaker 1 (01:10:48):
It is time now for Junior and Sports Talk. What
you got Junior?
Speaker 10 (01:10:52):
All right, Charley, say, let me talk to people down
in Monroe, Louisiana. Here I come this weekend Friday and
Saturday at Billiage Arena. Go ahead, get your ticket, man, Monroe, Louisiana.
I ain't been there in some years. Last time I
was there, I did Monroe, Louisiana in a high school.
That's the last time I was down there. They put
us sitting there auditorium at the high school. Now we
had Billion's Arena, So go ahead and get your tickets.
(01:11:14):
I see y'all this Friday and Saturday. Okay, let's get
to it. Can we just talk about this?
Speaker 8 (01:11:18):
Can we just say congratulations to co Co Golf?
Speaker 13 (01:11:21):
Please?
Speaker 10 (01:11:22):
Can we please give her shine right now? This girl
that won the French Open. And I don't I don't
like the fact that her opponent, Ernest Sabolenka was sitting
there talking like Coco had nothing to do with the
victory because she said she lost because she didn't play.
Speaker 8 (01:11:40):
Her best Uh what's her name, Junior Arnold?
Speaker 3 (01:11:45):
Sobolenka arena take your al, baby, Yeah, just take all
al and be quiet because Coke.
Speaker 2 (01:11:51):
She would not beat that back.
Speaker 1 (01:11:53):
She would not be quiet.
Speaker 10 (01:11:55):
She said she lost because she didn't play her best game. Well,
let me go over the scores for you for the sets.
I don't know a lot about golf, I mean not
by tennis, but I do know this. I know some
numbers are bigger than others, because see you lost in
three cents.
Speaker 2 (01:12:09):
That's what I do that.
Speaker 10 (01:12:10):
Okay, you won one set and then you lost the
other two and it was you on seventy six.
Speaker 8 (01:12:16):
Okay, she won seven six, then you lost.
Speaker 10 (01:12:19):
Now this is this is where you get mad. This
is where you lost it at This is where you lost.
French Trope at southlinka Coco Golf spanked you six.
Speaker 8 (01:12:25):
To two because six is bigger than two. I know
that much that that's how you lost.
Speaker 10 (01:12:31):
And then in the third set you lost six to four,
and that's the match that's done. That's nothing, nothing to
do with how you played, because six two you can't
explain that. In the finals, I don't know how you
games playing six to two, and you can't explain six four.
Speaker 8 (01:12:46):
So therefore we ain't care. You can get mad if
you want to, but here's my part.
Speaker 10 (01:12:50):
I saw how that girl was stunting on her and
when she won, she was on that plane and showed
them people that trophy where she said Hey, listen, that's
not the real trophy. When Coco was sitting up there
on her on the private jet going home as at
a champion, she said, Hey, let me show y'all something.
This is the real trophy we take home. The one
you saw me with yesterday. That wasn't the real trophy.
(01:13:13):
So congratulations of Cocoke.
Speaker 2 (01:13:14):
Go off.
Speaker 10 (01:13:14):
She is the future of tennis and that ain't gonna
be her last time winning South Lincoln.
Speaker 8 (01:13:18):
So you may well get used to this.
Speaker 2 (01:13:20):
This is how it is.
Speaker 8 (01:13:22):
She's seen this before. I just want to say I'm
proud of her.
Speaker 4 (01:13:26):
Man.
Speaker 1 (01:13:26):
She she had had this so much watched and we've
been watching her journey.
Speaker 10 (01:13:35):
She had great examples like Serena Williams and Venus Williams.
Speaker 1 (01:13:39):
She had now she got next, she got next. Let's
go coched next.
Speaker 8 (01:13:42):
One, next one up, So go mer Thank you, Mercy.
Speaker 1 (01:13:49):
All right, thank you.
Speaker 4 (01:13:50):
Junior.
Speaker 12 (01:13:51):
Coming up at the top of the hour, a father
on social media needs some advice. He says he's missing
his kids to be a good provider. We'll get into
it after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
All right, Steve, this is from Trey and Steve Harvey FM,
Trey says, I've been working long hours trying to land
(01:14:12):
a promotion that would really help us financially and lead
to better school options, more family vacations, less stress overall.
But in chasing that goal, I've barely seen my kids
the last few months. My son just turned eleven, and
when I asked what he wanted to do for his birthday,
he said nothing, Maybe we can go to dinner. I
(01:14:32):
know you're busy. It gutted me. I want to give
them everything, but not at the cost of actually knowing them.
How do I find the balance between being a good
provider and being a present father when it feels like
doing both well is impossible?
Speaker 7 (01:14:49):
Perfect It is impossible because listen to me, Bishop Jake's
put it best. If you are trying to be a
good father and a good husband, it is impossible because
guess what. In in order to provide for them, you
have to go and be about the business. You have
to miss recitals, you have to be away from them,
(01:15:12):
You have to go to grind and the hustle is real.
It will call on you many times when you don't
feel like going. If you spend all your time with them,
Now you can't get out there and provide them to
things that they want, need, deserve and love to have.
So all that better education you're talking about providing for them,
all those wonderful vacations, you're talking about providing for them
(01:15:34):
that will not happen. It will not happen. And that
and that you're trying to do it without stress, that's
not gonna happen. So brother, welcome to manhood. If you
are trying to be a father and a husband, you
will never get at one hundred. That's why it is
one of the most thankless jobs in the world. Being
(01:15:55):
a real dad and being a real husband is a
very thankless position because it is going to cost you
so many moments to be able to do the one
thing that is required of you in the art of provision.
Speaker 2 (01:16:10):
So welcome to the club, brother.
Speaker 12 (01:16:12):
Questions, Now you can go to the questions. I have
a question because you know women do that too. They
they they're not considered the providers. But if they have
to go to work, have children, you know, do it all.
They want it all and everything. But many women are
but wait, wait, wait, this is my question. Women suffer
from guilt because of their mothers. Do men have guilt?
(01:16:34):
Do men that guilt all the time?
Speaker 2 (01:16:36):
I mean he just said it, gutted it.
Speaker 7 (01:16:38):
Man Winton often tells his story about the time they
dad they had painted this big chair of gold because
I was supposed to come that day and they was
finally gonna Wintam was gonna finally be able to prove
to him that Steve Harvey my daddy.
Speaker 2 (01:16:51):
I couldn't go. I got called and to this day
he brings that up, you know, and it makes you feel.
Speaker 7 (01:16:59):
Yeah, it was another six months before they believe with
my daddy to you came up there?
Speaker 1 (01:17:05):
Wow, you know gilt written?
Speaker 12 (01:17:07):
Yeah, great advice though we have time for another one.
This is from Herb on Steve Harvey FM. Herb says,
my wife's been on a serious health kick the last
six months, working out every day, eating clean and looking
better than ever. I'm proud of her, and she's tried
to get me involved too, but I haven't managed to
stick with it. I've actually gained a little weight lately.
(01:17:29):
I've started to wonder if she's doing all this just
for herself, or if there's someone else she wants to
look good for.
Speaker 2 (01:17:36):
I hate that.
Speaker 12 (01:17:37):
My brain goes there, but I can't shake the feeling.
Am I just being insecure? Or is it possible my
instincts are right?
Speaker 2 (01:17:45):
Your fan, Yeah, that's what it is. No, one more time, Tommy.
It's your fan and the gym a quick complace.
Speaker 7 (01:17:53):
Yeah, no, man, now, because you weak in the discipline department.
Now you won't dump it home her. No, I ain't
got nothing to do with her dog this year. She's
she looks better than she's ever looked, and you're gaining weight. Well,
fat boy, let's look at it this way.
Speaker 1 (01:18:11):
We've told you about fat shaming on this show, sir,
and he.
Speaker 2 (01:18:15):
Need to get shamed.
Speaker 1 (01:18:17):
He need to get shamed doing a movie role like
bow Wow.
Speaker 7 (01:18:20):
Fat shaming is for women. Here, men can't get fast shamed.
Get your big chubby down in that gym before somebody
she at the gym. Boy, I'm gonna tell you right now,
I hate that My mind goes there. She probably gonna
hate the fact that you're weak. Oh see, this is
(01:18:41):
the conversations men have.
Speaker 12 (01:18:44):
All right, all right, we'll have more of the Steve
Harvey Morning Show coming up right after this.
Speaker 1 (01:18:48):
You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
Speaker 12 (01:18:55):
With budgets tight, people are traveling and spending less this summer.
According to a bank Rate report, only forty six percent
of Americans plan to travel this summer, while ten percent
are opting for a staycation instead. Now, staycations sound good
in theory. You're going to take time off from work
and just hang around the house and relax, maybe do
(01:19:17):
some day trips close to home. But does this really work?
Is a staycation really a vacation or is it just
time to Is it just time off to do stuff
around the house that you never have time to do.
So what do you think staycation? Just stay around the house,
you know, do stuff around the house. That's not really
(01:19:38):
a vacation, is it.
Speaker 2 (01:19:39):
That's not a vacation.
Speaker 1 (01:19:41):
