Speaker 4 (00:10):
So don't give a.
Speaker 2 (00:15):
Black million busy listening to show.
Speaker 5 (00:38):
I don't Joy, Yeah, Joy, you gotta do that.
Speaker 6 (01:01):
I love you you. You gotta turn.
Speaker 5 (01:41):
To turn the mouth, the turn you've probably got to
turn about, turn out, turn the water the wa aga.
Speaker 2 (01:55):
Come on, come on, you think that? Uh huh, I
sure will. Good morning everybody you are listening to the voice,
Come on, dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey
got a radio show, Yeah man, got one. Hey. You know,
(02:16):
I thought I think of my life in terms of blessings.
You know, I take mostly a positive approach and a
positive spin to my life. I hardly ever dwell on
you know, the what's well. I can't say that I
don't think about the what's wrong in it because I
have to, because I have to address problems as they arise.
(02:36):
But I try not to let them consume me. I
let the consumption part be about the blessings, the positive
things that has occurred in my life, the good things
that God has done for me, the power that He's
displayed in my life, the protection he's given me. Over
the years to being tucked under his wings. I focus
(02:58):
on the things that he promises me. I think of
all the goodness that I perceive to come my way.
I think that has a lot to do with me
learning more and more about the law of attraction in
terms of you know, what you think and what you
put out in the space, and what you pray about
is what you receive. You know, and so I've become
(03:20):
better and better at that. It's not to say that
I'm not human and I don't have moments where I
think a little bit too long about what's going wrong
and what enemy is about to attack and what they're
going to do and say, and and all of is his.
That's not to say that I'm not concerned about it.
But I try to dwell mostly on the positive. And
(03:42):
one of the things that I learned, you can have
an incredible life, all of us. We can have incredible
lives if we just let God drive. See. The problem
that I had years ago was I was the driver
of my life, and I was taking myself in the
(04:02):
directions that I thought would be best for me, and
I aimed at things that I thought I could accomplish,
and I set goals that I saw myself being able
to attain. I was driving when I gave up and
I let God drive. I then opened up my mind
(04:23):
and my spirit to what God had for me, For
what God could see for me, for what God could
do in my life, well, for what God wanted for me.
Now he wanted for me and he wanted of me. See,
that's the connection that you got to try to make. Well,
(04:44):
not try, that's the connection that you got to make
to really get it. Now, listen to me. What I
don't want you to do is do like me. Don't
be afraid of the what for of the what he
wants you to do part see, because that ain't gonna
be nearly as demanding as offsetting as you think it's
gonna be. See. I thought that if I did God's will,
(05:05):
that if I let God tell me what to do,
that it would cause me to not to be able
to do a certain some things I wanted to do well,
which is true. But the stuff I wanted to do
was all detrimental to my well being and my future
and my growth and development as a man. I was
stopping my own growth as a man because See, I
(05:25):
was doing what I thought I should do as a man.
But when you give it over to God. See, God
has a much better plan for you than you can
ever have for yourself. And God knows a better way,
far better than the one you know. I want you
to believe that. Man. You got to understand that part
of it. And that's the part that I finally got
through my head to let God do it his way
(05:46):
and to show me a better way, and to teach
me a better way and expose to me a better way.
And when I opened up my mind to what God
was talking about, I began to see things totally differently,
started coming to me totally differently. If you've been a
friend of mine or a fan of mine over the years,
(06:07):
I mean, you've had to see it, the change. You've
had to see the difference. I mean, and I acknowledge
that every chance I get, because I promised God I would,
and I hope that I'm not falling short in that category.
But then again, if I told it all day long,
would he done for me? I still wouldn't have enough
time to really explain thoroughly what He's done for me,
(06:30):
because it's such a continuous growth in me. But now
that's not to say that I'm finished or I'm done
or I'm complete, because I'm still shock. You can't be him.
You can strive for perfection. I hear people saying it
all the time. I applaud you for saying you want
to be perfect, but you ain't and you can't. So
(06:51):
you quit saying it. You quit saying it to me,
quit saying it to other people. I'm seeking a life
of perfection, but it's something that you cannot have because
he said you can't do it. But that's what he'd
have for. He'd have for the moments when you stumble
and you fall, and you go stumble and fall. See,
you got to get that part right, man, The stumbling
falling part is coming. But see, you get God in
(07:13):
your life and it helps you so that you don't stumble, fall, wallow, roll,
over lay their languish. That's what God is for. So
when you stumbling, fall, you get back up. Because you're
going to make mistakes, You're going to get it wrong,
You're going to come under attack, You're going to be
lied about, you are going to be falsely accused. That's
(07:37):
going to happen to you the moment you make a
decision to do better the moment you try to be more.
The devil got to send his attackers, man, and he
controls certain people. He just got people that's on his
side twenty four seven. You know him too. You've all
met one or two of men in your life. They
just busy with the business of nothingness. They just busy
(08:00):
about the about the destruction of others. You said, I
know them, you know them. They coming. But here's what
you gotta hold fast too. They can't take away nothing
from you that God gave you. They didn't make you. See,
people who claim to have made you, if they so
in to make you business, why don't they make theyself?
(08:23):
Or if they ain't with you no more? And they
so busy in them I made you business, why don't
they make somebody else? Since you want to get credit
for making somebody make yourself. If you're responsible for someone
else's success, then you should easily be able to take
claim and be responsible for your own success. See, be
(08:44):
careful of that. Don't and don't don't change your course
because somebody is attacking you with that. I just hope man,
that I'm giving it to God the way I said
I would give it to him. That I would unload
every chance I got that I was supposed to without
being you know, or hear he come again? You know.
I try not to be that, but man, I don't
(09:04):
know what else to be for the first twelve minutes
of my show? What else you want me to say?
I got four hours? I can't give God twelve twelve minutes, man,
I mean, for real, Steve, come on, man, I mean,
let's look at this right here. If you given honor
to God just twelve minutes out the day, dog, he
gave you twenty four hours of luxury and life and
(09:24):
breath and hope and promise, you ain't got twelve minutes
to give him out the day. That don't make no sense.
What in exchange? What a wonderful life God has given
me in exchange for so small of effort that I
put forth. Don't let the effort you got to put
forth to God seems so dawning that you don't attempt
to do it, because man, it seems like a lot.
It ain't nothing to compare to what He be giving
(09:46):
us for real. So if you want a real life,
you want a real shot at what you can be,
what you can have, what you can own, what you
can become who you really are. Go to God, let
him fix you.
Speaker 1 (09:56):
Man. That's all your listenings with the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
Speaker 2 (10:04):
Ladies and gentlemen. It's a new day, a new beginning,
a new opportunity, another chance, another gift, another moment of
grace and favor from God that He has allowed us,
all of us to still be here. And I'm so
glad about it. Man. I'm pretty sure you know some
people that you love deally that are no longer here
(10:25):
and you miss him and you grieve for him. Understand that,
yes I do. But ain't you glad though that God
gave them to you for whatever amount of time you
had them, and you got some great memories from it, hopefully,
and you've learned some things from it, hopefully, And for
that we say thank you Lord and move on. Welcome
(10:46):
to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Shelton Strawberry, Colinfreil, Mississippi,
Monica Junior, and the Legend that is Nephew Tommy Junior.
Speaker 7 (10:54):

about you, man.
Speaker 2 (10:57):
Somebody said, yeah, it's talking about it in the street.
Somebody told me.
Speaker 8 (11:07):
Go ahead, you They said it's not a lie if
you believe it.
Speaker 2 (11:16):
I said.
Speaker 7 (11:16):
If that ain't, Uncle Steve to the truth. It ain't
a lie.
Speaker 8 (11:21):
If you believe it's everybody else, prober, that's what it is.
Speaker 2 (11:25):
Well, power, No, junior, that's not a true statement. A minute.
You've never you've never heard me say.
Speaker 9 (11:38):
A lie.
Speaker 2 (11:38):
Ain't a lie if you believe it. You ain't never
heard me say that, foolish that that's a lie. It's
still a lie that must be told. That's now that,
like Shirley said, due to circumstances, there are lies that
(12:02):
have to be told. But it's still a lie. Though.
What you have to do is have a level of
commitment to the lie so convincing committee that it sounds
like the truth. Yeah, I'll give you an example. Ask
me anything. I'm gonna lie, but watch our lie.
Speaker 8 (12:23):
Mister Harvey, do you do you have two hundred million
dollar right now?
Speaker 2 (12:27):
No? I do not. I mean, I mean yes.
Speaker 10 (12:29):
I I'm asking that though, because you might have that,
all right.
Speaker 1 (12:34):
Well we would never know either way.
Speaker 2 (12:37):
No, I don't have.
Speaker 3 (12:38):
Why was that a difficult lie for you?
Speaker 2 (12:42):
I told him question I was gonna see then I
can't ask another question?
Speaker 11 (12:50):
Boy, you can lie your way out of anything.
Speaker 1 (12:54):
Sir, let's go.
Speaker 2 (12:58):

Speaker 1 (12:59):

pulled over and he's been uh, actually he's in another
officer's car. He's uh, he's a little bit inebriated here
and we're trying to see about getting them picked up.
I'm trying my best not to take him in today,
so I'm trying to be a good Samaritan and I'm
trying to get someone to come and pick him up.
Speaker 16 (15:50):
Hold on, hold on, hold on, backup, back up.
Speaker 17 (15:54):
You got my husband?
Speaker 13 (15:55):
Uh what I got here on the driver's license is.
Speaker 16 (15:58):
Kenny Kenny, and he's with you now.
Speaker 13 (16:01):
He's actually an Officer Brian's squad car right now. So
he was actually uh bobbing and weaving out on the
road and we pulled him over. He's not creating any problems.
The young lady wasn't creating any problems. So what we're truck,
what we're trying to do is get somebody to come
and pick him up.
Speaker 16 (16:16):
You have my husband because my husband is at work,
so he can't be in no Officer Brian or in

Nowhere, because I got some funny and when I get there,

Speaker 11 (22:32):
Is time to ask yes as the clo our chief
Love Officer, Steve Harvey.
Speaker 2 (22:39):
All right, Steve, this.
Speaker 11 (22:40):
Is from Mallory in Gatlinburg. Mallory writes, my husband left
home last Friday evening and he didn't call me or
come back until four pm on Saturday. He did not
answer my calls or his son's calls. My stepson said
he thinks he got arrested. My husband said, it's a
long story. Can that be it? And he's ashamed to
(23:02):
tell me? Why won't my husband talk to me?
Speaker 2 (23:06):
You better get that long earth Well, long stories always
lead to long conversations, which stems from a long interrogation.
He don't really have the whole story together yet because
(23:28):
it's so many hours he got to account for. If
you leave a house Friday, don't nobody hear or see
you again into Saturday at four. See, that's a lot
of time to come. It's different. It's different from explaining
why you come in at two three in the morning.
If that's a six hour window, you can figure six
(23:48):
hour lives. It's easy to come up with the day. Yeah,
if the sunlight comes up on a new day, that's
a whole another life. Now we're talking about nine outs.
You at nine, you were supposed to be back at
six in the morning, sun coming up, and you're just
coming in. That's a whole nother lie. Now you don't
let the whole morning go by and it's for in
(24:11):
the evening. We didn't if itn't do twenty four hours.
Hard to come up with a twenty four hours.
Speaker 1 (24:20):
And he's answering phone calls. Don't forget that hurt.
Speaker 2 (24:24):
Yeah, See what he should have did was he should
have had intermittent phone calls and produce intermitten lies and
he would have been alright in ejail like for an example, Well,
he wasn't in jail, because that's what you ain't even
got to lie. Yeah, he was just in jail for
(24:47):
what whatever it was. It wasn't you know, unless she
was in that for solicitation that we got. It's layers.
Speaker 1 (24:58):
Too much.
Speaker 2 (25:00):
You've got to say you wasn't picking her over, trying
to help her out. You thought she was just walking
and lead it out.
Speaker 11 (25:09):
All right, we're moving on because this is not working,
all right, Adrian in East Texas.
Speaker 2 (25:16):
Rights.
Speaker 11 (25:16):
I'm taking swim lessons and my instructor happens to have
a great body. My husband saw him for the first
time and he went off on me. He wants me
to find another teacher, and I refuse to. Should I
listen to my husband to keep the peace? Oh fine, yeah,
took the words right out of our mouths that you
(25:38):
got aquaman out the teaching how to swim?
Speaker 2 (25:41):
Yeah, Jason Momore, Yeah you you really you might have
tom and they must be private lessons.
Speaker 11 (25:51):
Too, yeah yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2 (25:58):
Oh his hands under the stomach and but sticking about
the water splashing her feet. Oh yeah, yeah, you gonna
have to get a new choice.
Speaker 1 (26:08):
Why is her husband so mad because he has a
great body?
Speaker 2 (26:11):
Though? She just because her husband ain't because he ain't.
Speaker 1 (26:16):
He doesn't, he.
Speaker 2 (26:17):
Ain't got no great body.
Speaker 1 (26:19):
What's he looking like?
Speaker 2 (26:23):
Probably me? You know, yeah, you know, yeah, you sixty
eight though, you know, and wow over there, you know,
I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, you know,
(26:44):
I mean you can see I had it really there
one time. Yeah, but you could clearly see something has happened.
Speaker 11 (26:54):
It's called aging rich so aging, yeah, aging gracefully all right,
moving on to Clyde Clyde, I haven't had a Clyde.
Speaker 2 (27:03):
Wow, they ain't making no Clydes no more.
Speaker 11 (27:08):
All right Clyde and Tacoma writes, I messed around with
a married woman over forty years ago. She had a
son that could be mine, but he didn't do all
But we didn't do all that DNA stuff back then.
I'm getting older and I would like to see if
the boy is mine? Is it too late or should
I call her to find out?
Speaker 2 (27:28):
Wow? Wow, man, if it's bothering, you call her?
Speaker 1 (27:35):
Call the lady? Uh huh?
Speaker 2 (27:37):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (27:39):
Wow. What if if it were you, what would you
you would call her?
Speaker 2 (27:46):
See if it's a Clyde after party?
Speaker 11 (27:50):
Yeah, forty years ago, what are you gonna do with
the boy? Man may go fishing with them.
Speaker 2 (28:00):
It's too late to play catch and all this.
Speaker 1 (28:02):
What are you doing?
Speaker 11 (28:04):
But you can have grandchildren and they could co fishing
with them right out.
Speaker 15 (28:09):
See.
Speaker 2 (28:10):
I don't I don't understand why he waited as long
he didn't just think of anything. Yeah, yeah, but see,
what is a series of events that happened in his life?
Now he had a point where he's trying to get
it together. Forty years ago, I messed with a married woman.
This dude in his sixty minimum. Now he's trying to
(28:33):
go back and fix everything because getting close to the
gate of heaven, I just said, gate.
Speaker 1 (28:47):
Them. Yeah, two gates.
Speaker 2 (28:51):
You gotta start doing some stuff to get stay out
of the other gate. So I don't know, man, I mean,
you know, he curious to know, But why why wasn't
you curious? You know, when the woman was pregnant. Why
wasn't you curious five years later? Why wasn't you curious?
Speaker 14 (29:09):
You know?
Speaker 2 (29:10):
Yeah, oh that's right, Yes she was married and yeah,
well bruh, and it might not be your baby. So
here's the deal. Here's a deal. Obviously this boy has
been raised not looking for you, obviously thinking that her
husband is his father. Bro, you probably ought to just
(29:33):
leave that alone, see, because now you're gonna come in
here because you all of a sudden feeling self right,
So you're gonna go turn all these people's lives upside down,
the woman, the son, the husband. Bruh, you should have
thought of this a long time ago.
Speaker 1 (29:51):
So okay, he said, he's all just go over.
Speaker 2 (29:54):
Or just find out they schedule him when they go fishing.
Just go down there and fish next to them. Just
don't say nothing looks like you. Hey, hey, hey, let
me help you throw this line out there looks you know.
Just work with him like that. Y'all come out here

star cast including Eva Longoria, Marshawn Lynch, and Andrew dice Clay.
The Pickup comeing to Prime Video August to sixth.
Speaker 2 (37:57):
All right, y'all, we back our special guest this morn
It's one of the comedy legends out there. I mean seriously,
when I first started, this was the first black headline
I ever worked with, and it took me under his wings.
He taught me a lot about the business. We became
the best of friends, or for years we were before
that was cell phones and so ourp through and as
(38:22):
we traveled in different ways across the country, we kept
in contact by each other's phone or answer machine, and
that's how we stayed in touch with each other.
Speaker 17 (38:33):
May Day, that was the cold word, may day.
Speaker 2 (38:36):
If he called my answer machine and say may day,
I had to hurry up and get to a payphone
and call his answer machine back and leave the number
of the people. And then I had to have two
(38:57):
hours to sit there by the phone because I had
to wait on him to get your message and get
to a pay phone himself. Oh, we've burned up a
lot of daylight.
Speaker 3 (39:08):
Wait what would.
Speaker 1 (39:09):
Constitute a may day?
Speaker 17 (39:11):
I mean, so we can't get into that right now.
Speaker 4 (39:13):
We can't be.
Speaker 17 (39:16):
I know you like to investigate stuff, but that it
should not be discussed ever, ever, ever a day. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (39:26):
Yeah, So August eighth, after all Winery in Atlanta, Georgia,
Anthony Brown got two shows the next night, Saturday night.
He'll be in Chicago.
Speaker 17 (39:41):

Speaker 2 (39:49):
Found it out and found it out.
Speaker 4 (39:51):
Go ahead, it's outside, it's outside.
Speaker 18 (39:54):
About that, I know that outside.
Speaker 4 (39:56):
It's outside.
Speaker 17 (39:57):
Yeah, Anthonium, sell it for you, thank you, thank you.
You know, Black people call it the tent then, but
that's okay. We'll just we'll leave it like that, the
t Then I'm at the tenth end on the ninth.
August the ninth gave him williams uh, Mark Curry, Rodney Perry,
(40:19):
Sheryl Underwood, Honest John, and George Wilbur Hopes about yours truly, boy,
I hope they get ready because I'm gonna be update
every time I bring somebody up. I'm doing forty five minutes.
Speaker 18 (40:30):
So yeah, yeah, deal.
Speaker 2 (40:35):
That's a funny show man, That's a funny show.
Speaker 17 (40:39):
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Speaker 2 (40:40):

the Country Club, Ampatheater, Country Club, Amphatheater. On the ninth
of August, and on August eighth, he will be at
the Winery in Atlanta, Georgia. Two shows, Boy if I'm
in town, bron Fall Through.
Speaker 10 (41:00):
The Boy, Please rehair right after the show, Hey y'all,
The one and only j Anthony Brown put chads again.
Speaker 2 (41:11):
Yeah we love you Jay.
Speaker 18 (41:14):
Hang up.
Speaker 1 (41:17):
What you're listening, Harvey Morning Show.
Speaker 11 (41:26):
Well, ice Cube has come under fire again recently over
the five million dollar offer he made to w NBA's
Kaitlin Clark to join his Big Three league and did
not make that same offer to Angel Reese. Ice Cube
told TMZ Sports that he was able to offer Clark
the unprecedented deal based on support from his sponsors. He said, quote,
(41:50):
Angel Reese is a great player, but the thing with
Caitlin Clark is her stardom. What our sponsors were saying
to us, They didn't tell us the same thing about
Angel Reads. I don't think we can make the same
offer because it won't have the same impact to the league.
Of course, Caitlyn Clark declined the Big Three deal to
(42:10):
focus on her WNBA career and endorsement opportunities.
Speaker 1 (42:14):
So here's a question. What do you think about this?
Speaker 2 (42:16):
Steve?
Speaker 1 (42:17):
How ice Cube handle this? What are your thought?
Speaker 2 (42:19):
I mean, he's telling the truth. The truth of the
matter is we have constantly been in a fight for
equal pay just as black people. Because sponsors view us differently,
y'all keep acting like see here's what the matter with
these troll people online, y'all act like sponsors are not
(42:40):
who they are, and they are. They are corporate people. Now,
you take a picture of most corporations in this country
and tell me who you see in the corporation. So
when they have a viewpoint of something, they are pretty
much in alignment with one another. Caitlyn Clark is to
(43:02):
them a bigger star, not a better basketball player, but
a bigger star. And understandably so. Listen, any time any
time a sports can prop up a white player in
a predominantly black sport, you're gonna get it. Larry Bird
came along and he became then icon. Now Larry Bird
(43:25):
was worth every dollar. This boyd was outstanding, But then
so is Caitlyn Clark. She's an outstanding player. But it
was Magic Johnson and Larry Bird. Now you got Angel
Reese and Caitlyn Clark. It is what it is. If
you look traditionally throughout the entertainment and corporate world, that
(43:49):
has always been a fight for equal pay, always and
it will continue to be. So it's in the television business, y'all.
You can have the same ratings as a black show
as a white show, and you will not get the
same sponsorship dollars put behind your show because you will
get relegated to the multicultural dollar advertising budget, which is
(44:12):
nowhere near the general market budget.
Speaker 1 (44:14):
Tadda. And there's nothing you can do about that, huh,
because that's.
Speaker 2 (44:19):
What you gotta try to keep fighting and striving on me.
We've done something. Yeah, Look, man, do you know what's
happening on Netflix today? Have you seen the numbers that
came out on Netflix? They have a thing out, They
have minutes watched. They got all of the top shows
on Netflix. The million one, the highest rated one is
(44:40):
about three hundred sum million minutes watched. That's the number
two show. Do you know what the number one show
is on Netflix? Medea's Destination Wedding. Do you know how
many minutes viewed she got? He got one point three billion? Wow,
(45:00):
there's no one even close.
Speaker 1 (45:02):
And that rule still applies even with that.
Speaker 2 (45:05):
Netflix does not give Tyler Perry the money to make
his movies that he give those other people, the movies
that got lesser views got bigger budgets than they gave
Tyler Perry to do this movie right here, still in
the dog and he produces way more than they do.
(45:26):
Just pull it up online. I don't know how to
pull it up, but pull it up. Minutes watched on
Netflix the The Ladies Movies and look at look at
Medea's Destination with one point three billion views. But I'll
send it to you.
Speaker 11 (45:40):
I'm glad Ice Cube put it out there so you
know we can look at it again and discuss it again,
because it's the travesty, it really is.
Speaker 2 (45:49):
We can't get mad at woman.
Speaker 1 (45:51):
No, not.
Speaker 2 (45:53):
Cube is fighting the same battle we've been all fighting.
This ain't Cube's fault.
Speaker 11 (46:00):
You know.
Speaker 2 (46:00):
You can offer that money from the sponsors. The sponsors
offered it to Caitlin. They didn't offer it to Angel Reese.
See that ain't cut for us.
Speaker 1 (46:09):
Just a racist shame.
Speaker 11 (46:10):
Yeah, all right, Uh, ongoing battle coming up next. We'll
switch gears here because the nephew is here with the
prank phone call coming up next right after this. You're
listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at
about four minutes after the hour. It's my strawberry letter
(46:30):
for today, and the subject is he has nothing to
be loud or proud about. We'll get into that, find
out what that's all about.
Speaker 1 (46:37):
Just a few. Yeah, she's complaining.
Speaker 11 (46:41):
Because right now it is time for the nephew and
today's prank phone call.
Speaker 1 (46:46):
What you got for his nest?
Speaker 15 (46:47):
Uh?
Speaker 10 (46:48):
Cirlin, If you're ready, I got it for you. This
right here, This is the refrigerator. You know, we all
got an issue when we get an appliant, So we
get something dropped off at the house getting delivered, you know,
to give you a four hour window. You know we're
gonna be there. What you want from eight to twelve?
What you want, twelve four? How you want it? Oh,
they eat and then when they they ain't never really
(47:08):
get in the window like they supposed to. Ever, I'm
giving my man a hard time with the refrigerator.
Speaker 2 (47:14):
Check it out. Here we go the refrigerator. Cat dog
get you would.
Speaker 10 (47:19):
Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach out mister please miss
missus Jackson. I'm the driver, man, I'm actually the delivery
guy that's bringing you refrigerator.
Speaker 2 (47:27):
Over the day.
Speaker 15 (47:28):
Okay, what's going on?
Speaker 10 (47:29):
Okay, listen, I know we had a window that was
from eight to twelve. This morning's it's eleven thirty now,
so we're running a little bit behind schedule. Man, we
have some problems at the yard getting everything loaded up.
Speaker 15 (47:42):
Man, come on, man, you killing me.
Speaker 14 (47:44):
I can't.
Speaker 18 (47:45):
Y'all y'all running behind, well, a little bit behind schedule.
Speaker 2 (47:47):
Man, we're gonna have will be there somewhere between twelve
and four.
Speaker 15 (47:50):
Oh, come on, man, I got to do better than that, now, man, I.
Speaker 2 (47:55):
Understand, sir, I understand that.
Speaker 15 (47:57):
Actually it's I got a man, I got food in
here and coolers and stuff. Man, I got ice everywhere.
I mean, so, so, I mean, what's what? What's what's
going on? Y'all ain't got the refrigerator.
Speaker 14 (48:10):
I'm trying to figure out.
Speaker 2 (48:11):
No, No, we loaded up, you know, we just have
some problems.
Speaker 10 (48:13):
I think one of the forklifts went out, and you know,
it kind of pushed us back. So that four hour
winter we had from eight to twelve, man, just got ruined.
And now we're pushing things from our twelve to four.
So between twelve and four, man, we would definitely be there.
Speaker 14 (48:25):
Y'all have to be better than that. I supposed to yesterday.
Speaker 2 (48:31):
Actually, the warehouse supervisor he's actually out today.
Speaker 15 (48:34):
He's not here, so he's not in. So yeah, man, yeah,
I'm supposed to be working for one car. You said,
y'all gonna be until in between twelve and four.
Speaker 14 (48:43):
I'm supposed to.
Speaker 15 (48:44):
Work in one o'clock.
Speaker 10 (48:45):
I understand it, man, I greatly apologize. Man, this rarely happens,
and it just so happened this morning. The forklift was
down and we had a lot of stuff to load up.
You know, we got I got ten refrigerators on this truck, man,
and one of them is definitely yours, sir.
Speaker 2 (48:57):
So I'm definitely gonna be getting it to you as
soon as I can, y'at.
Speaker 15 (49:00):
So, so man pushing it because I'm supposed to be
your work. And then I scheduled everything else around this.
Speaker 14 (49:06):
Because I'm supposed to know, I gotta have a refrigerator.
Speaker 15 (49:08):
I got all my food and stuff sit in here
in the in the kitchen and whatnot.
Speaker 2 (49:11):
You refrigerator went out? Did it go? Refrigerator went out?
Is that what happened?
Speaker 4 (49:16):
Yeah?
Speaker 15 (49:17):
So did that?
Speaker 13 (49:17):
Man.
Speaker 15 (49:18):
I had it for quite some times, you know. So
it's just amount of time for or we'll go out.
So I try to go ahead and get a new one,
you know, right.
Speaker 10 (49:25):
So that's why, Well, how to schedule. I can schedule
you next week sometime if you want me to.
Speaker 15 (49:30):
I mean, I can't. I can't afford it.
Speaker 14 (49:32):
We're gonna tave this food that I got in here
all over the floor.
Speaker 10 (49:34):
Let me let me get the hustling man. See if
I can move as quick as I can. But twelve
or four is the window.
Speaker 17 (49:38):
Man.
Speaker 2 (49:39):
Like I said, I apologize, miss, We'll.
Speaker 4 (49:41):
Be the man.
Speaker 2 (49:41):
We're gonna, we're gonna, we're gonna beat that with your
refrigerated day.
Speaker 15 (49:44):
Okay, okay, So so when you when you on your way,
how about I want you to call me and let
me know that you're on your waist so I know
what's going on.
Speaker 10 (49:51):
We don't normally, we don't normally call when we're on
our way. We just come on in and get things
set up.
Speaker 15 (49:55):
What do you mean you don't call it not? You
just called me just now.
Speaker 2 (49:59):
Yeah.
Speaker 10 (49:59):
Yeah, like I said, the problem is on us, man,
I'll give you a call when we en route.
Speaker 14 (50:04):
Okay, Okay, I appreciate that.
Speaker 15 (50:06):

your wife.
Speaker 15 (53:18):
You know what I'm gonna fix up. That's what I
want to know. They showed up.
Speaker 10 (53:27):
Come on, I need some prank and praise up in here.
Come on, come on, that's a real prank delivery. Hey Tommy,
what was this I heard that happened at your show?
Speaker 2 (53:36):
Man? What happened? That was a lady that you bought up?
What happened?
Speaker 10 (53:40):
Does this lady that miss let me say, I can
say the name right on. Miss Kaneta Spragging is her name?
I hope I'm saying, all right, Miss Carneta's bragking this
lady that was actually an accident in Tupelo, Mississippi, and
two cars rain each other. He gets out of her
car and runs and helps get both of these people
out of their cars. And as soon as she got
(54:01):
them out of the way, a train came and hit
the first car. Was they were on a train track.
They was on the train track. Yes, sir, yes, sir.
You know she just acted immediately man and came to
gout him out. So you know she was a hero
brother hero. So she came to the show and I
(54:22):
brought on stage. Man.
Speaker 2 (54:23):
We gave us some money.
Speaker 10 (54:24):
Uh, Me and Paul got together, gave her a plaque.

All right, neph you. Thank you.
Speaker 11 (56:52):
Before we get to the letter, we're going to do
a disclaimer here. Please, if you have small children in
your car or you know you don't want them to
hear this one, now would be a good time to
not let them hear it. Okay, Subject, parents, do what
you do. Subject. He has nothing to be loud or
proud about. Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm fifty two years old
(57:15):
and on my third marriage. I have grown children, and
so does my new husband. One of his granddaughters lives
with us so she can go to a special school
for gifted kids. My husband knows she is in the
bedroom next to ours, but he still likes to show
out like we're newlyweds. He is loud and wild, and
I have to cover his mouth and turn the TV
up to drawn out the noise. She told her mom
(57:38):
about and about it, and my husband thought it was funny.
He has no reason to be loud or proud about
anything he's doing sexually. He likes to brag when he
should just be quiet and be grateful that he's getting
some It's something that I have to do as a wife,
so I do it. We had a short engagement and
waited until marriage to have sex. He is definitely not
(57:59):
as passionate as my first husband or packing like my
second husband. I married for love this time, and I
chose the wrong man. Whoever said that love conquers all
was mistaken, because I want to feel the love in
ways that my husband can't give me. The other day,
we were hanging out with some friends and he has
(58:20):
He had his arm around me, telling his friends, and
he put that smile on my face. This morning, his
friends were high fiving him, but my best friend was
so tickled because she knows that I'm considering getting a
side dude.
Speaker 1 (58:32):
I am only fifty two.
Speaker 11 (58:34):
I need some good back bending sex with a little
mild choking every once in a while. My best friend
jokes about him being shorter than I am and said
that that might be why he's not good in the bedroom.
Speaker 1 (58:48):
I don't think height has anything to do with it.
Speaker 11 (58:50):
What do I do? I can't cheat on him, So
what am I supposed to do? Put up with bad
sex forever? Well, I mean, you're right, I don't think
height has anything to do with it. Because you're both
lying down, you're both vertical, so you know you should
be the same size lying down. But I'm confused by
this letter. I'm really struggling with what to tell you
(59:13):
because I'm not sure what you want here. I mean,
you basically want a cure for bad sex in your bedroom.
There is no cure. You just have to sit them
down and talk to them or whatever. But you started
off talking about your granddaughter staying in the room next
to your bedroom, and that led to you saying the
noise coming out of your bedroom didn't live up to
what was really going on in there, and your husband
(59:36):
should stop bragging about it so much. Then you compared
him to your two ex husbands. One is passionate, the
other one is packing. Your husband, you said, is none
of those. But you should never do that. You shouldn't compare,
and your husband will never be them. I hope you
know that you're going to have to learn to love
him for him if you stay in this third marriage.
(59:58):
We're not judging you for having three marriages or anything
like that, but you can at least try to make
this one work. You said you married the wrong man,
so you know, I don't know if this one's gonna last.
Speaker 1 (01:00:11):
I mean, I know.
Speaker 11 (01:00:11):
You're frustrated, but you can start by telling your man
what you like outside of the bedroom, telling him what
you really want outside of the bedroom. Because you said
you really don't want to cheat or get a side dude,
so you know you're trying to stay here and make
it work. Try harder, I mean, or else you're gonna
be on your fourth marriage.
Speaker 1 (01:00:31):
Steve.
Speaker 2 (01:00:32):
Well, I'm gonna tell you right now, you're headed for
marriage number four because this whole letter it's about you
and him. Now. Is he wrong in this letter? Of
course he is. But are you wrong in this letter?
You most certainly are and you don't even know it.
You're fifty two years old, you're on your third marriage.
(01:00:53):
You got grown kids, so does your new husband. One
of his granddaughters lives with us so she can go
to a special school for gifted kids. Okay, that's fine.
You know, people killing me what all this gifted kids stuff?
You know a lot of times your kids, yo, let
me tell y'all something about a gifted kids. Sometimes your
kids really ain't that gifted. They're just smarter than your well,
that's all it is. Schools kids now, because of technology,
(01:01:17):
they appear to be more advanced than we were as children. Well,
they got more stuff to be advanced towards, and this
called technology. The baby probably ain't that gifted at all.
And if she all that gifted, why she got her
own apartment? Anyway, it's you. I don't care. Get tired
all this what you how gifted you are? You ain't
working nowhere you start making money. I don't want to
(01:01:38):
hear about how gifted? Right now? You're doing them costing
us extra money? Are paying all this money for this
extra schooling? Why smart kids cost smoke? Get in here
and gets some seeds so we can stay in this
neighborhood we want. Now, we got to put her in
that certain neighborhood because she's making all these aids. If
(01:01:59):
you don't get some seas and come in here so
we can stay in this house, we in and you
go to school with everybody else. Anyway. My husband knows
she's in the bedroom next house, but he liked to
show off, like we newly wear. Is he loud and wow?
I gotta come his mouth and everything drying out the noise.
She told her mom about me and my husband, and
(01:02:21):
my husband thought it was funny. He ain't got no
reason to be loud or proud. About anything you do
in sexually. He liked to brag when he ought to
be quiet and grateful. He getting some It's something I
gotta do as a wife, so I do it. We
had a short engagement to wait until we were married,
till we had sex. Now here's the problem. He is
(01:02:42):
definitely not as passionate as my first husband or packing
like my second husband. I married for love this time,
and I chose the wrong man. Well, let's get to
what's really wrong with the letter.
Speaker 11 (01:02:55):
All right, hang on because Steve won't have part two
of your response coming up at twenty three minutes after
the hour.
Speaker 1 (01:03:03):
Yeah, it just over with, Yeah, all right.
Speaker 11 (01:03:07):
The subject is he has nothing to be loud or
proud about. We will get back into it right after this.
You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
Speaker 8 (01:03:20):
If you're a homeowner, you know it took years of saving,
planning and hard work to get in the door then
make that house a home.
Speaker 2 (01:03:26):
Now, all that effort has.
Speaker 7 (01:03:28):
Built something hugely valuable.

Speaker 11 (01:03:51):
All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
The subject is he has nothing to be loud or
proud about, and there is a disclaimer on this letter
for parents with children.
Speaker 2 (01:04:02):
Well, well we got to disclaim on this letter for
parents has got children in the car, but it's a
child in this letter, So.
Speaker 1 (01:04:12):
Why yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:04:14):
Who we saveing here for his baby in the letter?
And she heavy he and all this miss next though, anyway,
lady on her third marriage, she fifty two years old,
married and husband. Both of them have grown kids. One
of his granddaughter's got to leave with him because she
a special gifted child goes to a special school for
the gift. I'm against this type of stuff right here,
(01:04:35):
because why I got to cost extra just cause you small.
Get your tail in here and get some seeds on
this report car like everybody else, so you can stay
in the house with us, and we ain't gotta ship
you off and pay this extra money.
Speaker 1 (01:04:50):
Seeve, my grandson is in gifted and talented.
Speaker 2 (01:04:53):
Okay, he ain't finna make no more money than myskey.
I was in special need class. Look at me, son,
he gifted what he gonna be? What it's something?
Speaker 1 (01:05:07):
Whatever?
Speaker 2 (01:05:09):
Congratulations boy, and once again now yeah, well we'll see
how how gifted you like him? If they got he
gotta start living with you so he can go to
the special school. We'll see how you feel about this
little gifted behind. Then be helping him with homework so
he can get back up at that regular school. Anyway,
(01:05:30):
demand that she married likes to show off and make noise,
and knowing that the grand baby can hear him, and
he all loud, she gotta cover his mouth and stuff
like they newly wed. The baby that went and told
her mother about it. He thinks it's funny because here
now he brags about it, and you're saying he has
nothing to brag about here, or to be quiet and
(01:05:52):
grateful that he getting some because it's something you got
to do as a wife, So I do it. Y'all
had a short engagement. Wait until you're married to have sex.
But he's definitely not as passionate as my first husband
or packing like my second husband. I married for love
this time, and I chose the wrong man. Whoever said
that love conquers all was mistaken because I want to
(01:06:13):
feel the love in ways that my husband can't give me.
So let's back up on man, why did you marry
this man? You say you married for love, which was
a mistake, So why'd you marry the other two? See?
Your problem is you keep married getting married for all
the wrong reasons. You married your first husband because he
was passionate about love, man. You married your second husband
(01:06:36):
because he was packing. That's for love, man. So now
you're done married the third one for love? Now you mad?
This is fitting the end because you want to feel
love in the ways that your husband can't No, no, no,
you want to have sex in ways that your husband
can't give me. The other day, we were hanging out
with some friends. He had his arm around me, telling
(01:06:56):
his friends. He put that smile on my face that
morning friends, I five and but my best friend was
so tickled because she knows I'm considering getting a side.
Speaker 1 (01:07:05):
Dude.
Speaker 2 (01:07:06):
Wait a minute, lady, maybe this is why you on
your third marriage, your your problem solving skills is shot.
Like probably, problem resolution ain't what you do I'm thinking
about getting a side, dude. I'm only fifty two and
I need some good backbend and sex with a little
(01:07:27):
mind choking every once in a while. What oh, you
need to shut.
Speaker 20 (01:07:31):
A shock, They settled, crazy.
Speaker 11 (01:07:48):
Man.
Speaker 2 (01:07:51):
I was just trying to be current, all.
Speaker 1 (01:07:58):
Yeah, because you, yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:08:00):
You're here and here fit and probably I ain't say.
I don't know if he's backbreaking, but he big.
Speaker 10 (01:08:07):
Though, he's strong and muscular, so I'm thinking, you know,
good dude right here on.
Speaker 2 (01:08:16):
My check and everybody you don't even you ain't even
if you don't want to do what you're gonna get.
Speaker 1 (01:08:23):
She's married.
Speaker 2 (01:08:25):
Then she said, my friend jokes about him being shorter
than I am, and I said that might be why
he's not good in the bedroom. Shirley said, sip hype
has nothing to do with it, because y'all be laying down.
But that's not all the time, though, sometimes you have
to stand up. I'm told you right now, if you
short stay on your toes for a long time, you're
(01:08:46):
gonna pull a cramp. You're gonna pull a cramp in
your calf muscle. Because hard tiptoe if you got tip toe, Yeah,
if you gotta get a child horse trying tippytoe, trying
to reach everything, trying to do with you. But do
you short boys?
Speaker 1 (01:08:58):
A long time since I hurt the words Charlie.
Speaker 2 (01:09:01):
For now you know, you know now we are people
on this show that can tell you the best way
to go about it. I ain't never been shot, so
I ain't never had it. It ain't never been a
problem for me.
Speaker 1 (01:09:11):
We can lay down on stands, little kid, baby, I could.
Speaker 2 (01:09:18):
I could, I could, I could, I could fly across
the room on the trampeze. It don't matter to me.
I would do how you army crawl to you, how
you want to do it, you know, hockey your options
because I'm calling short people. Short people can't army crawl
to you because when they get to the bed, they
gotta they gotta get on their knees and stand up
a tough shot. Yeah, sometimes you they little short man,
(01:09:39):
he got to pull hisself up, put all the covers off.
You trying to get a rope and get up the top. Anyway,
what do I do? I can't cheat on him? So
am I supposed to do with bad six travels? You
just said you was getting the side, dude, Lady you
don't need to be mad. You're about to be on
Madge number four or yeah all right, he ain't all that?
Speaker 1 (01:09:57):
And today being.

Speaker 7 (01:12:46):

Speaker 2 (01:12:48):
Yeah? You know, just because he rich. Probably they probably
let him go a couple of hell you want him
to tell you why they didn't say nothing?
Speaker 3 (01:13:00):
No, no, no, no no. Look in my face when
we were talking about Q. Did you see my face?
And I do love Craig from and I love it
was a good day.
Speaker 8 (01:13:11):
I tell you what, you give every NBA play a
five million that's gonna solve everything.
Speaker 7 (01:13:16):
You saw the shirts down at the All Star Game.
You pay us with your pay cute, don't cut it off.
Speaker 6 (01:13:21):
That's all.
Speaker 2 (01:13:21):
I just can't say.
Speaker 1 (01:13:24):
Because you're still excited about that.
Speaker 2 (01:13:27):
All right, bothered you? That really bothered you? Oh yeah,
oh yeah.
Speaker 7 (01:13:32):
I ain't gotta say nothing.
Speaker 1 (01:13:33):
I was.
Speaker 2 (01:13:33):
I was shocked. I know.
Speaker 7 (01:13:34):
I ain't talking about NBA players money and call it shirt.
Speaker 2 (01:13:37):
Ain't said nothing.
Speaker 7 (01:13:37):
I know that did. I couldn't see that.
Speaker 2 (01:13:41):
I couldn't see you some money too.
Speaker 7 (01:13:44):
Now we'll talk about it, lady. But that's okay. That's
all I want to say that my feelings was hurt.
Speaker 2 (01:13:50):
Did you do?
Speaker 10 (01:13:50):
Me?
Speaker 7 (01:13:50):
Do everybody?
Speaker 2 (01:13:51):
I was laughing?
Speaker 1 (01:13:54):
All right, thank you you? And you're coming up at
the top of the hour.
Speaker 11 (01:13:57):
A wife wants to know Steve if it's okay to
have a private social media account. We will get into
that talk about it right after this. You're listening to
the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys, here we go.
This is from Tika in Germantown. Tika says, I have
(01:14:17):
an Instagram account that's private, and I won't allow my
husband or my family to follow that account. I don't
have anything to hide, but I don't want to hear
their comments. When I'm out with my girls and we
post pictures popping bottles and hanging out with ballers, I
always wear my rings, so there's never any funny business.
I think husbands and wives need to keep something separate.
(01:14:40):
Should I delete my private account because they think I'm
being sneaky?
Speaker 2 (01:14:45):
Well, let me ask you this. If your husband had
a private account, how would you feel about it? And
you just said something that I found interesting? When we're
all popping bottles and hanging out with ballers ballers, Now,
reference that's I've always heard ballers used to has always
been to men. I've never heard a group of women.
(01:15:07):
I'm just hanging out with all these ballers. I've never
heard that come from women before. I'm about women. So
when you say we are popping bottles and hanging out
with ballers, but I always wear my ring, that means
you are around men oftentimes. But you think cause you
got your ring on it, that don't stop nobody from
(01:15:30):
saying nothing to you. That don't stop nobody from offering
you nothing because you got a ring on. If you're
in this section doing what everybody else is doing, DNA,
let's do what everybody else is doing. So is this
shady one hundred percent. Can you be married and have
a private account. You can't until they find out about it,
(01:15:52):
and they all know you have it because when they
go to it, they can't get in it.
Speaker 1 (01:15:57):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:15:58):
Man, this social media.
Speaker 11 (01:16:00):
Sightful of you to say that you know about the ballers.
Speaker 1 (01:16:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:16:04):
Well, and if it was the other way around and
he was out with some women popping bottles, having a
good time, but I got my way and ring on too,
right exactly with dancers or whatever.
Speaker 11 (01:16:17):
Yeah, right, So she should delete her private account, is
what you're saying.
Speaker 2 (01:16:22):
I don't know how she don't think it should be there.
She should be allowed because everybody should have privacy. Look,
I think that married people should have things that they
do by themselves.
Speaker 1 (01:16:32):
Yeah, I think that.
Speaker 2 (01:16:34):
I think that everybody should have some me time. Everybody
has the right to be themselves. But if they but
if it being yourself infringes on the trust and happiness
of your partner, what you're doing.
Speaker 11 (01:16:48):
Right exactly exactly, I'm with you, and you're right, all right,
we have time for another one, Steve. This is from
LaToya and Orlando Uha. Toya says, I'm dating a guy
that used to be married, to a close friend of mine.
He wants to keep our relationship quiet for now. I
have no problem telling my friend that I have an
(01:17:10):
interest in her ex and we want to date each other.
I don't care how people think they own a person
after they break up.
Speaker 1 (01:17:18):
He wasn't her soul mate? What if he's mine?
Speaker 2 (01:17:22):
Yeah, gon't tell her, gon't tell her? Watch this? Give
it a yeah, gold, tell her watch this y'all.
Speaker 1 (01:17:30):
Through girl code.
Speaker 11 (01:17:31):
Yeah, come on, that's go tell her yo. And then
what are you saying, Steve, if she tells her.
Speaker 2 (01:17:40):
And teller and watch this here? I don't know how
people think they own people. It wasn't her soul mate,
It may be mine. All that you're saying, Oh that's cool.
Gon tell her.
Speaker 1 (01:17:53):
When I was dating him, that best.
Speaker 2 (01:17:56):
Friend, you're gonna be the reason why they broke up.
You listen to me, Oh so you wanted him the
whole time. That's all she's gonna be thinking. And really
it sounds true.
Speaker 1 (01:18:06):
Yeah.
Speaker 11 (01:18:07):
And then he wants to keep it on the low.
He doesn't want the ex to find you.
Speaker 2 (01:18:13):
Already know y'all want that extra smoke, right y'all, hero,
I'm gone you both of y'allen to get it from
the wife, from the ex wife and her friends and
family and a bunch of stuff.
Speaker 1 (01:18:26):
Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, don't do that. Don't do that.
Speaker 2 (01:18:31):
As to his friends, shu, all.
Speaker 3 (01:18:33):
These men in the world, you got to go with
your friend's ex husband girl.
Speaker 1 (01:18:37):
By because because she thinks he might be her soul mate.
All right, all right, thanks guys.
Speaker 11 (01:18:46):

This is a good day. We have fun today. Yeah,
thank you guys for listening as always. And Steve, you
have some clothing.
Speaker 2 (01:25:26):
Yeah, you know. My partner, Dion Sanders, made the announcement
day or so ago about his developing bladder cancer and
he came forward to talk about it, and it was
a forty two minute press conference and he spent a
lot of time elaborator elaborating about it, and he even
(01:25:49):
joked about it, and it got emotional for him when
he was talking about how good God really is. You know.
He told me he was gonna make this announcement because
I had been checking on him, man, because I just
didn't know what was wrong. I just I had seen
some different things, and I just finally I got hold
of him and he had new number and everything, and
(01:26:09):
so I finally got hold of him and I said, hey, man,
what's going on. He said, I'm gonna tell you, man,
but I'm gonna make announcement on Monday. And he told
me the situation everything, and we were talking about it,
and before we hung up, I told him, I said, hey, man,
you understand why. He said, yeah, I do. He said
(01:26:31):
had to be me. I said, yeah, it had to
be you, because you the chosen one. You're the one
that God knows he can put this on, allow this
to happen to and when you come out on the
other side, you're gonna give God the glory. Also told
him of the millions of lives he would affect when
(01:26:52):
he came out with this story. Because the one thing
that rang true throughout this whole thing was he was
imploring men to get tested. He said, especially black men,
because we don't like nothing to do with doctors. But
then he say, my white brothers. Y'all got to go
to my Latino brothers, my Asian brothers. Young and women too.
(01:27:12):
But you gotta go get checked, but especially men, because
men won't go to the doctor unless our wife make
us go. And sometimes that's the case. Man, Sometimes you
just need that woman in your back to make you
go to this doctor. Because we're so good with I'm
got it, I'm good. Ain't nothing wrong. I'm handling it.
But no, man, we gotta start watching our health. Man.
(01:27:34):
We got to pay attention to it our time. Look,
I'm sixty eight years old. I know for a fact
that I've lived longer than I got left. And I'm
so grateful for life now every day because I'm in
the bonus round.
Speaker 16 (01:27:53):
Man.
Speaker 2 (01:27:53):
I just heard about this Ryan Sandberg, this base a
baseball player that just died in his sixties, and then
something Malcolm Jamal Warner died in his fifties. Then Ozzie
died right behind that, and then another one, and I'm
just going, wow, Man, it's everywhere, and you have to
(01:28:17):
realize how blessed you are if you still here. But
since you hear, there are some things you need to do.
Like I was watching this thing on YouTube with Bishop
TD Jakes the other day. The greatest preacher of all time,
This dude right here is my guy, and he was
talking about the road to success is bumpy. He said
(01:28:41):
that he knows a lot of people who's done way
better than him in his life, financially, monetarily, all types
of stuff. He says, you know a lot of people
are more wealthy. Everything he say, But everybody I know.
The thing that all of them have in common is
that their road to get to where they're going was bumpy.
It was bumpy, and that's the way success is. It
(01:29:04):
requires the bumps and bruises of life to get there.
But I've also learned so many things about it, man,
how you got to handle it, and how you got
to understand it, and when bad things happen to you,
you have to underthink understand that these bad things that's
happening to you are valuable lessons in life that you
(01:29:26):
will need because when you get to the next level
and it happens to you again, you'll know how to
handle it and you can smooth through it a little
bit better. The first time you face a major problem,
it's major. The second time you see that major problem,
it ain't gonna be major. That's why you have to
handle and cope with the bad times in your life,
(01:29:49):
because if you look back on your life, you've gotten
through and beyond and over every bad situation that ever
happened to you. And if you haven't gotten it over currently,
he's pulling you through it right now. Think about that
for a minute. So once you have that in your
hip pocket, once you have that bullet in your chamber,
(01:30:10):
the next time you run into a hardship, a hard time,
a difficult moment, you got that that you can reflect
on and say, hey, I've been here before, I've seen this.
God got me, and it gives you an uncommon type
of peace realizing that. So I'm going back to Dion now, Dion,
(01:30:32):
this happened to Dion, and he got real bumpy for him,
because let me tell you something, I don't care how
much money you got, I don't care how famous you are.
When your health is at risk, all your focus go
to there. It ain't bout your money no more, it
ain't about your career. You get real focused on your health. Man,
that right there gets your undivided attention. But God puts
(01:30:53):
it on certain people because he know they can handle it.
It's been on Tommy. Something happened to nephew Tommy his
cancer deal, but he put it on him and he
came through it because he knew with this microphone that
he would be a living witness, that he would be
a living, walking, breathing testimony to tell you of how
(01:31:14):
good God really is and the power of prayer, that prayer,
pray can be cancer. Pray can be cancer. Ask Tommy,
pray can be cancer. As Dion see, y'all's you gotta
(01:31:34):
understand how this works. Man. So I know I was
kind of all over the place, but I think I
said what I need to say. Hope y'all got something
from it. If y'all didn't get nothing from it, tune
in tomorrow, God willing, we'll have something that you can
get This to. Steve Harvin Martin Show number one, twenty
