this morning, Chile because after ten plus days, I'm getting
my car back finally, Yes, hallelujah. Indeed, no more spending
money on rental cars, that's right. But you know, I'm
hopeful that I'm hopeful that it's not gonna cost me
(01:46):
an arm and a leg or a down payment, because
I know how I'm gonna get I'm gonna start to think, well,
I should have just got a new car. But I
like not having a car payment, it's right, and I
like not having to deal with it. And you know what,
if it was broken, it was going to need to
be fixed anyway, And this is what happens when cars
are out of warrantine. And I'm lucky that I have
a guy that's right, you know, So thank you to

Marie Furallo says everything is figure outable. That's right, Everything

Yeah, and how you and I admitted that that is
literally the first thing we do if we look at
our phones, which is not good.
Speaker 1 (06:37):
No, it's not okay, but nonetheless we do it anyway.
Speaker 2 (06:41):
However, we had people share what it is they do

we learned from Marie for Leo a little bit earlier,

Top stories top of the anti ice protests have now
spread across the country. In New York City, police arrested
several demonstrators in Manhattan yesterday, while in Chicago, crowds gathered
outside a federal building after thousands marched against immigration raids.
Protesters also blocked a highway earlier in Atlanta. Now, President
(08:28):
Trump says protests that this Saturday's military parade in DC
will be met with force. He added that he hasn't
heard about any possible protests being planned. Fairfax County Police
say that a body was found yesterday during a search
for a missing nineteen year old college student. Investigators have
been trying to find Kyle Coleman, since he abandoned a
(08:50):
car after a crash in the Tysons area last week,
and dive teams found the body in a pond near
that accident. A man was killed in a stabbing. This
happened at a bus stop in Fairfax County's Groveton area yesterday.
Police believe the incident is isolated and they are searching
for two suspects. The US House voted to overturn a
(09:14):
twenty twenty two DC Council measure allowing non citizens to
vote in local elections. They also passed a bill reversing
a law that made it harder for police officers to
contest disciplinary decisions. Both those bills will now move to
the Senate for consideration. And the Chesapeake Bay's health declined

Tell all your friends you get your news from Toby
and tell you in the morning and top stories at
the top of the hour and coming up, we're gonna
talk about things that bring you the anxiety almost instantly,
the little things that annoy Americans the most. There's a
study out. We'll share with you what the study says,
and of course we'll talk with you about those things
(10:17):
which annoy and if you've got some that just popped
into your mind right now, eight sixty six nine two
seven forty three sixty one is the number, and talkback
is wide open too. If you're signed into your iHeart
app drop Chilli and I a voice note, we're gonna
get into this in minutes. Why do I hear that song?
It's not a ben and it's my anxiety. We're Telby
and Chilli in the morning ninety seven point one WASHFM.
(10:40):
It's got to be because there are little things that
snowball and become big things, but nonetheless they're little things
that annoy us the most. There's a new survey at Chilli.
You got some details, Okay.
Speaker 2 (10:49):
The number one thing is when you see someone that
you don't want to talk to you. Apparently that is
one of the little things that stresses people out the most.
Speaker 1 (10:59):
People who come knock on the door and you're not
expecting anybody. That's a problem.
Speaker 2 (11:04):
That bothers you. Well, knocking on the door when you're
not ready for guests is number two people talking to
them when they want silence that comes in in third place?
Is there something on here looking at this that is
missing for you?
Speaker 1 (11:16):
I think so. I think it's when you use the
app for one of these places to order food from,
like a fast food app or right, could be sheets
or wah wah, any of these places. Right. What's the
point in ordering an advance on the app if you
get to the place to pick up I don't know
your coffee and you have to wait behind six other people,
(11:36):
none of whom probably used the app, and you're just
sitting there waiting. Why Why did I order it early?
This is the hades that is my life in the
morning sometimes.
Speaker 2 (11:47):
Oh sorry to hear that.
Speaker 1 (11:48):
Yeah, what about you? What annoys you? Okay?
Speaker 2 (11:50):
I don't like it when I have a question that
desperately needs an answer because of a deadline and they
don't get back to me within twenty four hours, because
the worst that derails so many things, and it has
a domino effect on getting things done efficiently.
Speaker 1 (12:05):
And then I know you. It becomes a nagging thing. Yes,
it's like, guys, I've got to do this. I have
to do it now.
Speaker 2 (12:12):
You guys gave me the deadline. Can you at least
answer this one question so I can get this done
for you?
Speaker 1 (12:17):
Oh, these things that annoy us, they snowball into anxiety
and it causes everybody's quality of life to go down, down, down.
Speaker 2 (12:25):
And if you want to see all the things on
the list, we do have it for you on the
Toby and Chili page at washafm dot com.
Speaker 1 (12:31):
Hopefully this does not stress you out.
Speaker 4 (12:33):
Toby and Chili's nearly impossible question, the question chiliamar.
Speaker 2 (12:37):
According to a study, a staggering fifteen percent of people
say they have called in sick to work because of this.
Speaker 1 (12:46):
What is it? Listen to you laugh? Eight six six
nine seven three sixty one. You've never called in sick
because of this? Have you?
Speaker 2 (12:54):
No?
Speaker 1 (12:54):
I can't see that as being anything that you would
probably do. Four pack of tickets Broadway in the Park,
wolf Trap later on this month. We've got them for
you if you can answer this question.
Speaker 2 (13:04):
A staggering fifteen percent of workers claim they've actually called
in sick because of this, what is it?
Speaker 1 (13:11):
Call eight sixty six nine two seven forty three sixty one.
Guess right. You're going to Broadway in the Park at
wolf Trap on the twenty eighth of this month with
a four pack of tickets. Call now play when and
we learned something together? Your nearly impossible question is on Toby.
Speaker 3 (13:27):
And Chilli's nearly impossible question, Chilie.
Speaker 1 (13:29):
Can you give us the question one more time? Please?
As ridiculous as this question is.
Speaker 2 (13:34):
A staggering fifteen percent of people claim they have actually
called in sick to work because of this. So what
is it?
Speaker 1 (13:40):
Four pack of tickets are up for grabs to wolf
Trap Broadway in the Park. What is your name and
where are you from? Ma'am?
Speaker 3 (13:47):
My name is Michelle and I'm from Anapolis.
Speaker 1 (13:49):
Welcome Michelle from Annapolis, A beautiful place to be. So
you've got the question what is your guest?
Speaker 4 (13:56):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (13:56):
Temple is it?
Speaker 2 (14:00):
Oh? This is a question you'd have to google to
even think about, because that is ridiculous and it is correct.
Speaker 1 (14:08):
Can you imagine that's a bold face lie. You'd be
telling your boss. You'd be like, yeah, I got his
den I can't come to work today.
Speaker 2 (14:15):
What kind of a blemish?
Speaker 1 (14:16):
Is that, Lord, big time blemish you speaking of which
I've got one on my nose right now and I
can feel it forming chilli. You're looking at it, I
can feel it.
Speaker 2 (14:26):
We'd all run out of sick days if you called
in for pimple.
Speaker 1 (14:29):
I didn't call in for this pimple on my nose.
Speaker 2 (14:33):
We hope for pimple doesn't keep you from going to
see the Broadway in the Park. You get four tickets
wolf Trap for June twenty eighth.
Speaker 1 (14:41):
Oh you, you're welcome. And then if you do have
a pimple, Poppetka right, enjoy the show. And we've got
more tickets for you. Fan of Broadway, you'll go to
wolf Trap to see Broadway in the Park another four
pack of tickets tomorrow morning, with another round of your
nearly a possible question, hang out for the news. It

Speaker 2 (19:15):
Fifth grade? He has one more year of elementary school.
We're in Cairfax County. And yeah, the teacher gift thing
can be stressful because you never feel like you're doing
enough for these teachers.
Speaker 1 (19:26):
So tell me, what are you doing for these teachers?
Speaker 2 (19:28):
Well, there's eight different people in his life, so they're
all getting different amount of gift cards.
Speaker 1 (19:33):
Eight different people getting eight different gift cards.
Speaker 2 (19:37):
Yeah, because he's got a couple of main teachers. He's
got the music teacher, pe teacher, art teacher, stem teacher,
and then the two bus drivers, one in the morning
and one in the afternoon.
Speaker 1 (19:45):
Boy, you are generous. I don't recall that when Kylo
was in elementary school that we gave out that many
gift cards. Oh no, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (19:54):
I mean, I don't know who else to include. I
wish I could include the principal, the guidance counselor or
the viceman. I want to include all the people that
help him.
Speaker 1 (20:01):
Oh no, I gave one of Kyla's teachers wants a jersey,
accustomed jersey with his name on the back, mister Nelson,
who like you like the Pittsburgh Steelers. Don't hold that
against him. He's not at that school anymore, by the way.
And then there very unique gift that you got with Yeah,
I thought it was kind of cool, and he was cool.
He threw me under the bus for being late with Kyla,
(20:23):
and I was like, you know what, there's something to
be said about that, and so I wanted to reward him.
The rest of the teachers all got Georgetown cupcakes.
Speaker 2 (20:30):
Oh okay, that's fine. I don't know that it's a
mandatory thing that we get teacher gifts, but I am
