Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's Toby and Chilly crazy first day and DC, good morning, Caroline,
we are ready for your story.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
Lay it on, Chili and I.

Speaker 3 (00:08):
I went on this first day with a guy we
had met on one of the apps, and he took
me first through a hotel. The hotel was hosting a
painting step, one of those you go and you paint
a picture and you suppline and we did that and
it was great. It was a really creative, thoughtful first date.
It lasted a couple hours and I kind of thought
we were done after that, though, he was like, let's

(00:29):
go sit down and have a meal. So we kind
of segue and walk sixteen feet over and sit down
in the restaurant of the hotel, and I'm kind of
already like wow, I was cockered out. I was ready
to go. But we sit down and somehow I power
through this meal. My eyelids are getting heavy, but he
was such a nice guy, had taken so much time
and thought. After that, we finally get the check. I'm

(00:51):
ready to fall asleep at this point, so he then
suggests let's move on to a second location for a nightcap.
So I don't know what was wrong with me. I
heard him saying no, he was really nice. He said
he can go to the bathroom, so didn't in the
lobby waiting for him, and I guess it was too
much and I dozed off because when he came back
the next thing I remember, if he can sort of

(01:12):
nutting me awake, I had fallen asleep in a chair.
So the good part, I guess was that that was
a way for the date to be ended. He didn't
really push it after that to go on for the
night cap. But yeah, it was just it was too
much activity for a first date.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
I would say, So you were a bit over stimulated.
Are you sure you didn't have a little too much wine?

Speaker 3 (01:31):
You know what? Either is possible, because at some point
it was so crazy. I couldn't believe we were still going.
It's certainly possible that I imbibed a little too much
on the date. That's there.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
So did you guys go out again after that? And
it's not why did it you go out with him again?

Speaker 3 (01:47):
There was not a second date, And I almost felt
bad because of all the time and effort and thoughtfulness,
and like I said, nicest guy, I hope he found
his match, but it wasn't really there weren't really sparks.
Let's put it that way.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
You imagine if you wanted a second date, he would
have planned an entire weekend.

Speaker 4 (02:04):
Oh my goodness, Caroline, because you share that story with us,
we'd like to send you to go see Shakira Nationals Park,

Speaker 2 (02:18):
And it's the only thing you have to do. You
don't have to jump through any other hoops. There's no
other things planned afterwards, none of that.

Speaker 3 (02:26):

Speaker 4 (02:26):

Speaker 3 (02:27):
