I was set up on a briand date for a friend.

Speaker 1 (00:13):
He picked me up and took me to a movie,
and later on I found out it was a.

Speaker 3 (00:17):
Free movie and free popcorn because his uncle run the theater.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
From that point on, from that first night that we
went out of date, we were together every day since.

Speaker 3 (00:26):
And four months later we got married.

Speaker 1 (00:28):
Woe.

Speaker 3 (00:29):
We've been married for forty three years and three kids later.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
He always did no time. Now, was it because his
family owned the movie theater that you fell for him
like a romantic kind of a movie kind of a thing.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
Or no, No, we just hit it off for some reason.
And like you said, we've been together.

Speaker 3 (00:45):
Forty three years and three kids later, and three kid
ran kids, so well it must be good for that
is great.

Speaker 4 (00:51):
And Donna, you went out of your way to mention
that he didn't have to pay for the popcorn or
the movie because he had connection. Will you initially kind
of turned off by the fact that he wasn't even
spending a dime on you on that, and like, how
did he win you over?

Speaker 1 (01:05):
I didn't even know that until we got after we
got married.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
Wow, So did you just find it to be a
very fun evening of bliss?

Speaker 3 (01:13):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (01:13):
I did. I mean I just said, we just I
guess we just had the connection to each other and
we went out every night from then and we originally
set the wedding date to be October, which would have
been six months, which is still not much better. Good.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
Well, popcorn's magical.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
Yeah, you had the mind going that way, Doc, I was.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
Talking about butter on a popcorn.
