Jamie in Wheaton had a first date to remember—for all the wrong reasons. She managed to fall down a flight of concrete stairs not once, but twice! Did her date stick around, or was this a romance doomed from the first tumble? Tune in to find out!

It's Toby and Chilli's crazy first date.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Jamie, good morning. You have a crazy first date story
for us.

Speaker 3 (00:07):
Fire Away worked with a man just gorgeous, distinguished, how
to crush on him from the day he started.

Speaker 4 (00:14):
Finally got a lunch date, great conversation, sparks are flying.
On the way back to work, he says he has
to stop by his house to pick up some files.
We get there, he invites me in, he shows me around,
he does indeed pick up file. So we get ready
to leave. He's locking the door and I start down
the stairs. There's about fifteen concrete.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
Stairs from his door down to the sidewalk up the street,
and so I take the first couple.

Speaker 4 (00:41):
Steps and stumble.

Speaker 3 (00:42):
Of course I have heels and you know, everything dressed
for work. Catch my balance and he rushes over and
he's like.

Speaker 5 (00:48):
Oh my god, are you okay, And we both kind
of chuckle. We're like, yeah, that, you know, christ is averted.
That would have been crazy.

Speaker 4 (00:54):
So I take the next step and fall down the
rest of the thirteen stairs.

Speaker 1 (00:58):
Oh oh lord.

Speaker 4 (01:01):
And of course he rushes down, Oh my god, it's
something broken. We need to go call an ambulance.

Speaker 3 (01:05):
And I'm just laughing, hysteric.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
Ruined all because you're a hot mess.

Speaker 4 (01:10):
Exactly exactly do.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
You think you'll avoid falling down the stairs, you know,
ruining your first date chances with the guy next time.

Speaker 4 (01:22):
Yeah, I'm definitely in flats. I'm a flat down.
