Karen in Fredericksburg and the First Date Flight

Karen in Fredericksburg flew to another state for a first date... but the story took a wild turn she never saw coming ✈️❤️. Let’s just say she didn’t come home alone.

Hi, Toby and Chilly Crazy first.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Date in Fredericksburg. Karen, Welcome. We understand you have a
crazy first date to tell Chilly and I about.

Speaker 3 (00:09):
I had a first date at after I met a
guy at a wedding. So we were at a wedding
and we exchanged phone numbers. At the end of the wedding,
he called me and we started talking. He invited me
down to Virginia for our first date.

Speaker 1 (00:23):
I didn't live here.

Speaker 3 (00:24):
I lived in New England, and I said, oh, I
gotta fly down to Virginia for our first date. And
I said, well, you know what, I'm gonna throw caution
to the wind. I'm going to go down there. So
I flew down to Virginia for like four days, three nights.
We had an amazing three days of first date and
I decided to move to Virginia because of him. So

I uproarded my life. I mean not right away. We
did date like ten months long distance, and then I
did move and it turned out to be great. The
relationship went along so good for only about four years.
The point is that after four years. During that time,
I met another man that I worked with and we

were just friends. My ex and I ended up breaking
up and at the end of it all, I ended
up with this other guy. So even though I didn't
stay with the original person, I came down here for
I stayed here in Virginia and that's where I met
my true love after we broke up.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
So if you had it all to do over again,
would you do it the same way? Because some people
I look at you and think flying for a multi
day vacation is a bit cuckoo.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
I would do it the same way. I would. I
mean that relationship was good. Like I said, we ended
on a good note. It worked out.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
For the best and we're so glad that it did.
