Speaker 1 (00:00):
These are the radio blogs on the Fred Show, writing
in our diaries, except we say them a loud we
call them blogs.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Paul Lina go, thank you so much, dear blog. This
is a two parter, like Iky wants a kind of
present it to us.

Speaker 3 (00:13):
They related not even close now they are they? We
could just pick one? Why do you have two questions
for the audience?

Speaker 2 (00:21):
You know?

Speaker 3 (00:23):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (00:24):
So I discovered that my best friend Jonathan, who I
talking about a lot on the show, he and Fred
has something in common that they do together.

Speaker 3 (00:31):
And I want to know why you guys nut together?
They both do.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
Now they just happen to do this, but I want
to know why they both so Fred and Jonathan, my
best friend.

Speaker 3 (00:42):
Why do you guys hoard your points right?

Speaker 2 (00:45):
And in this case, I know Fred hords a lot
of other kind of points.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
I know, for like airlines.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
You've talked about that before and you got a reason,
there's a reason to why.

Speaker 3 (00:53):
You do this. But it's the duncan for me that
I don't.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
Understand why you guys don't go and get your free
coffee or get your free wake up wrap, whatever it
is you get that day. Because Johnathan's like, oh I
got like twenty thousand points, and I was like, I'm
barely holding out to one hundred a hundred points a
day because I use it all the time. When I
get that free coffee alert or whatever it might be
from my app, I'm running, like I run on everything,

(01:17):
but to Dunkin, I run. And i'd want to understand
why we're hoarding it, and like, why do you guys
want to buy Dunkin?

Speaker 3 (01:23):
Don't. I don't know what you're trying to do with
these points.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
Okay, so well, I love points. I think the Duncan points,
I just don't think about them like I just I
don't know. It's if I remember correctly, it's not the
most seamless I love Duncan, but it's not the most
seamless process to use them.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
It doesn't take a couple of steps. They changed it now,
so now when you check out, it says use the reward.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
It's like what there you got? Yeah, okay, this is
the upgrade. But you remember it used to be like
you had to like it was a potion. Yet, yeah,
this thing I didn't want you to hear it. They
didn't want you to use God blessed, God, blessed duncan.
I'm with their best customer.

Speaker 3 (01:57):
But are we are?

Speaker 1 (01:58):
But we've been over this and the airline miles thing.
I get stasy with the airline miles.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
Yeah, I was covering that. I think you're onto something.
It's not cool, hey.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
Guys, because, like I'll give you an example, I put
everything on my credit card that I possibly can, so
I can have these miles, right, and it helps with
your little airline status to see, you know whatever. But
they'll say, okay, you can go to year if you
have one hundred and twenty thousand miles, you can go
to Europe first class round trip, amazing. And then you
go on the thing and it will say, oh, you

(02:29):
can go for five hundred thousand miles or whatever, because
they only make a few seats available for the for
what they advertise, and then those go fast, like like
a year in advance or something three hundred I forgot
that the three hundred and forty days or something in advance,
and so then so I'm like, wait a minute, So
I would have to use three times to miles for
the same thing I should be getting for less. Now,

(02:49):
granted I'm never going to get the one hundred and
twenty one. Yeah, you know what I mean, because I'm
not that fast. I'm not that I don't plan that
far in advance. But at the same time, I don't
want to waste three times of miles, so I just
don't use them.

Speaker 4 (02:58):
They're doing even less just today in your account, though,
then they would be doing if you spent three times
the miles.

Speaker 3 (03:03):
But think about it.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
If I did, I could only do four trips baller
trips as opposed to TAMN.

Speaker 4 (03:09):
But you're not going to do any And I know you.

Speaker 3 (03:11):
You the whole time i've known you.

Speaker 4 (03:12):
I've been stressed about these points. I think about it
a lot, like it keeps me up at night. You
have Hella points.

Speaker 3 (03:18):
I have so many miles. This ridiculous, sat.

Speaker 4 (03:23):
Do you like?

Speaker 3 (03:23):
What is the plan? Like your life is short? You
know that right?

Speaker 1 (03:26):
The plan is I don't know that at some point
I would be able to use them more economically and
get more out of them. That's my goal. I don't
want to waste them. The same with money. I'm the
same way with money. I try and save money and
I don't waste it because I don't know I might
need it in this job, I might need it. Well,
you know, I don't know, and she's like, how I
was raised, and so I don't want to use three

(03:48):
times as many points to get the thing I should
be getting for a third of it.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
So there's all like, no, I don't like it either.
There's a pro tip that I heard it, and I
don't know if you could verify this is true or not.
Is it true that if you transfer those points, like
from your credit card to the airline or something like that,
there's like some website that or you transfer it, and
it's pretty much like that's the way you should be
doing it, don't there's a whole game. Okay, there's a game,
That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (04:11):
There's a whole game. There are websites about it, there's tiktoks.

Speaker 3 (04:14):
About it, tells rental cards.

Speaker 1 (04:17):
Or people will be like, you know, if you transfer
your these miles to this airline and then transfer them
out of this airline, then now all of a sudden,
you have a partnership with that airline, or you can
buy tickets cheaper off of that website than this website.
So if you transfer this and that and the other thing,
and so you wind up getting what you want. But
it's like a job. It's it's a game. Okay, so

(04:38):
I don't know you know well enough how to do
it all. But yeah, it's like, you want to fly
on this airline, but the airline you have points on
doesn't have a code share with them or you know,
alliance or whatever. So if you transfer to this airline,
then you can get that for this. And I don't know, man,
I'm just trying to go to Wichita.

Speaker 3 (04:55):
I'm just trying to go. I a read man. I
don't want to waste I don't like this game.

Speaker 2 (05:01):
Lease and then part two really quick, Hobby lost my
rotisserie chicken.

Speaker 3 (05:04):
I don't know where it is to.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
Do with What.

Speaker 3 (05:09):
Do you guys understand that I don't know where my
man put my chicken? Okay, he got How is that
connected to airline points? It's not.

Speaker 2 (05:18):
I just I'm I'm losing another waist right, another waste
of life and time, and I'm just so upset.

Speaker 1 (05:22):
Well played, Now where do you believe the chicken is?
Do you believe that we're going to find the rotissary
chicken like in the pantry behind something at some point
like spoiled now because he lost a rotisserie chicken yes,
I had in itself. We didn't even need to talk
about the airline, but I forget about that. I needed
to kind of like bully you a little bit. I
want to talk about the missing rotissary chicken. Where the
hell is it?

Speaker 3 (05:43):
It's on camera. They delivered it to my front porch,
so there's a development. I didn't know that much. It's
on cameras.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
So now you're saying, someone, there's a thief in our
midst there's a thief who stole your rotissary chicken.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
You're saying, yes, I'm really upset about this. I love
rotissery chicken. Is no that rosary?

Speaker 1 (06:03):
So it showed up to your home and you have
video of evidence of this, Yes, I do. And then
we don't know what happened between that moment and wherever
it is now. I don't know where the missing rotissery
chicken exactly. That's supposed to be my dinner. And I
did a video footage show. I mean, like, who who
who received the rotissery chicken in the video evidence?

Speaker 2 (06:22):
So he got delivered, so got left. And then of
course it doesn't want to work when I can't see
who brought it in.

Speaker 3 (06:27):
Oh my god, so somebody raised the film, somebody way
the fact deleted it and they did. They did work
on me. I don't know.

Speaker 1 (06:34):
It just sounding a lot like the Karen Reid trail
if you're following that. I want to know why all
the ring camera footage from that night is missing. I
want to know if they're not, if there's nothing nefarious
going on, why is it that the hours in question,
we don't have any ring footage. How Why are all
their cell phones destroyed? Why did we cut up sim cards? Ooh,
what's it on again? Because I want to watch it.

Speaker 3 (06:54):
Yes, I don't, Oh, it's on It's on Hulu, baby,
I'll look it up. I want to watch that. Hu.
I think you just reminded too many places.

Speaker 1 (07:03):
But now now we're in the second round of the
Karen Reid trial and it's a Max's.

Speaker 3 (07:08):
A body in the snow. Okay, I have Karen Reid.
I don't know. My mom and I crushed that in
like one weekend.

Speaker 1 (07:14):
But you know, I think I want to know if
Karen Reid knows where the Rotisserie Chicken is somebody I
think she might do. Those cops in Boston know where
the rotistery and they might know they might be behind this.
Somebody is the person who's eating your chicken right now
knows who killed Karen Reid's boyfriend.

Speaker 3 (07:30):
There's no doubt about it. I know it percent. I
find that extremely.

Speaker 1 (07:35):
Suspicious that you saw the footage of it being delivered
and there's no further footage.

Speaker 3 (07:40):
That's right, Give me my damn chicken.

Speaker 1 (07:42):
Somebody Keith Morrison on this, get the authorities involved. This
is unbelievable.

Speaker 3 (07:48):
I think he ate it all and he's yeah, you
want admit it because he doesn't. He doesn't like him.
He doesn't like him. It's not that hard to eat, girl,
I mean it's it's little and yummy. Oh I don't
need things off the bones. I don't know. Well that
ain't true.

Speaker 1 (07:59):
Wait about the fuck is? I don't know where that
came from. Three minutes away. We'll do waiting on the
Friend Show. We're commercial free. Thank you so much for
waking up with us.
