Hey, everybody.

Happy Friday to you and you and you good Friday
at that. Yeah, I hope your Friday is going well.

sitting in for Stan and I'm gonna bring some conversations
your way. No special guests this morning. You're gonna be
my special guest, So feel free to.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
Y'all know what to do.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
Call in and you got that classic. Well, you got
that keyword so you can get that money. Let me
see what that is. Let me give that to you
again so you can win that money. One thousand dollars.
Bank b a n K bank is your keyword for
this hour. Bank came in just a little bit early, Yeah,

(00:43):
a little bit early. But we are here and thankful
to be here, you know, stand his own vacation for
those of you. Miss jewels Stein already called me good morning,
Miss Juelstein. But Stan is out this morning. I'm hanging
in or hanging out for him, and again, good morning.
It's a good Friday. I had my first scare of
the morning. I came to work and I don't know

(01:05):
who she was.

Speaker 1 (01:08):
Or was it a she.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
I don't know who that person was. I have no idea.
Came back here and I said, do y'all know who
that was? Nobody knows who it was. I just didn't
think to look back because I thought it was somebody
that worked for iHeart, But it was not.

Speaker 3 (01:26):
M M.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
I don't know who that was. That woman. I don't
even know if it was a woman. I don't know
who it was.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
But I tell you, the next time I go to
the lady's room, I'm gonna be watching. I don't have
eyes in my I usually do I watch, I look around.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
I did not. I heard him coming, I heard him going.
I don't know who it was.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
Ladies, Let that be a reminder to you to watch
your back, your front, your sides, okay, no matter where
you are, Okay, whether no matter where you are, just let.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
That okay, y'all got it all right? Good.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
So I've been watching this story, like many of you
probably have, the Carmelo Anthony story out of Frisco, Texas.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
And the parents.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
Yesterday, the attorney and the parents had a press conference.
The Austin Metcalf, the young man that was killed his father,
showed up at the press conference.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
He was escorted out.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
The attorney for Carmelo Anthony's family said that he felt
like it was a you know, disrespectful to the memory
of his son that he would show up at their
press conference.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
Why did he come, Why did he show up? Why
was he there?

Speaker 2 (02:53):
Nobody knows. Maybe he was there to do just what
he did, to cause a scene, because when I looked
at a lot of the news reports I saw where.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
And it's something house stories.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
When you read stories, depending on where you read it,
it's going to be slanted one side to one side
or the other. So the stories that I saw and
the post that I saw called Carmelo Anthony's family disrespectful
that he was, that he had to be escorted out,

(03:30):
and I thought, wait a minute, it wasn't even And
on top of that, and I said.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
This yesterday on my show.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
On top of that, Carmelo Anthony is not supposed to
have any contact and he wasn't not that press conference
because he's on house arrest.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
But he wasn't.

Speaker 2 (03:45):
He's not supposed to have any contact with that family.
So if he's not supposed to have any contact with
that family, why would make it make sense?

Speaker 1 (03:58):
Make it make sense? And I don't know.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
Maybe when you're going through grief, and I mean you're dealing.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
With a high profile. This case has.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
Become high profile, and you know, unfortunately, the mother said yesterday,
people have lied and these are some of the publications
that we have read as well that have lied and
said that they got all that money.

Speaker 1 (04:21):
She said yesterday.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
Made it clear that the money wasn't released until yesterday.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
Didn't have any of that money.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
So if they didn't have the money, that meant they
got their own money and got their son out of jail.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
Hm.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
The goalfundme was put up, and it was put up
for his case.

Speaker 1 (04:45):
And I don't tell you, honestly, this is just me.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
If I gave money to Carmeth, you know, to the fund,
I honestly wouldn't care how they had to spend it,
if they had to buy a house to move so
that they're thirteen year old daughter could sleep at night,
because she said they've come under racist attacks. She said

(05:08):
in that press conference yesterday, My thirteen year old daughter
does not even want to sleep in her own bed,
she said, me, my husband, and my children had nothing
to do with what happened, but we are facing the
consequences of it, and consequences that are probably beyond what
any of us can imagine. So at any rate, they

(05:35):
just received notice that they can get those funds that
have been given through you know that. I think it
was give Fund. I can't remember the exact name of
that fund, but they just received notification yesterday that they
could get that money.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
And now this is what I heard.

Speaker 4 (05:50):
I hurt.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
The families, not hurting for money. That's what I heard.

Speaker 2 (05:53):
The husband, she explained the mother in that press conference
that her husband.

Speaker 1 (05:56):
Had to take off his job. He had to who.

Speaker 2 (06:01):
Take time off because he's fearful for his family's safety.
I saw somewhere on social media last night where somebody
said white people are having their Trayvon Martin moment. Now,
I don't know if that's how they feel. I don't know.

(06:24):
All I know is both sides are wrong. Now I
want you to I want to caution you. For those
of you that that go to social media and you
read everything and you think Facebook is you know, accurate
and everything they say. I want to caution you because
there are both sides are putting out information. Okay, you

(06:47):
got the folks on Austin's side that's putting out hateful information,
and you got the other side that's putting out information,
maybe hateful. I haven't seen much of the hateful, you know, information,
but I have seen it on the other side. And
I'm just telling you what I've seen. I'm not trying
to pick sides or anything like that. I'm just telling
you what I saw. But I want to caution you

(07:12):
to be careful about the information you spread because now
I saw I was talking to her friend.

Speaker 1 (07:18):
Last night and I said, she posted on social media.

Speaker 2 (07:21):
Now we know what Austin not what Carmelo used to
stab the young man. The word is that it's a
cleat sharpener that he used.

Speaker 1 (07:33):
Not a knife.

Speaker 2 (07:34):
But but but wait, I was up all night last night.
I was trying to find a cleat sharpener. To my knowledge,
they don't exist. You can't buy one, you know what
I'm saying. But I did find out that people what
people use. So it could be now it's just a

(07:55):
It could be that the reason he had the knife
had nothing to do with him protecting himself, but had
to do with sharpening his cleats. Could be because when
I looked up last night, you know what people use.

(08:17):
They use different kinds of things, and that might have
been what Carmelo used, he could have just happened to
have it on him. It could have been something he
had on him all the time. Imagine you get jumped on,
you go somewhere, you get jumped on, and you gotta
protect yourself. What do you do? I'm just saying, just imagine.

(08:42):
I saw the lady here in Memphis that her dog
I saw this, probably saw this story. Her dog bit
a child and the child's family members came back and
beat her up. And it's not funny. I'm gonna tell
you what. He is kind of interesting. When they did
the story, they literally said in the story, she acts

(09:04):
to be kept anonymous to protect her identity, yet her
face is all over say social media, they put they put.

Speaker 5 (09:17):
Young.

Speaker 2 (09:17):
Tell me what you think about the Austin Metcalf thing.
Does that change your mind that you know? Sometimes those
track stars use knives, sharpeners to or they use I
don't know if they use knives.

Speaker 1 (09:28):
Let me not say that. I don't know what they use.

Speaker 2 (09:29):
But maybe it could have been that the reason he
had the knife was because he was sharpening his cleats,
or he used it for his cleats, but this time
he used it to protect himself. Does it change your
mind or where you are? You know what I'm saying?
How do you feel? It's one of those stories that's
dividing us Again. There's always one, ain't It's always one.

(09:51):
You remember when it was Oja. I remember working at
Power ninety two in Little Rock Arkansade during the oj trial,
being at work and we everybody stopped to watch what
was going on, especially when that decision came down. You
remember that, You remember that where I know you know
where you were when you found out O Jay.

Speaker 1 (10:16):
This is one of those. It's one of those. Uh.

Speaker 2 (10:20):
The lady that yeah, I thought that was interesting. I
don't know why the news media put her face out there,
because that's that is it?

Speaker 6 (10:27):
Me?

Speaker 1 (10:27):
Isn't that her ident'? Is it?

Speaker 2 (10:30):
Because people could easily you know people anyway? She says
she's going to have to move. If you what you moved?
She she her dog bit a child. This was here
in Memphis, y'all. Okay, it happened in the graham Wood neighborhood. No, no,
that's not I'm not that's the wrong story. It's not
the grand Wood, nagh. This is Cooper Young. Yeah, at
an apartment complex in Cooper Young and some kids. She said,

(10:52):
there were young kids. They came back and beat her up,
and she's pregnant.

Speaker 1 (10:57):
She says she.

Speaker 2 (10:59):
Was in the feat net position trying to cover her
baby bump, you know what I'm saying, So that nothing
happened to the child. But at any rate, they got
a picture of a hunter. She wanted to remain anonymous.
They got a picture of him. And yeah, like I said,
most people probably know who she is by now.

Speaker 1 (11:16):
But she did say she was gonna move.

Speaker 5 (11:19):
Now.

Speaker 2 (11:19):
This story right here, really, this is Memphis. This story
right this one confused man. And I did it this
morning in the news. Y'all even do the story the
man who was found shot on Wednesday morning outside of
a home in the Graham Wood neighborhood. He was found
near a black face mask and a bag full of tools.

(11:45):
Couldn't tell him what he was doing over there, couldn't
tell him nothing. Police investigators later found that black bag
near where the man was shot and discovered inside of
it was a power drill. And he said when they
arrested him, he was dressed in all black and he
had not arrested. I don't know if they arrested him,

(12:05):
but the story doesn't say he was arrested, but he
had let me see, a black face mask was also found,
but they said he had on all black, he had
on gloves, and he was shot in the back and
left with critical injuries.

Speaker 1 (12:22):
So he's in the hospital. What was he doing? Okay?

Speaker 2 (12:30):
If investigators find out that he was there doing something
he'd had no business doing, tell me this, are they
going to when they find out who shot him? Are
they gonna arrest that? What they want to know? I
don't know. Uh, y'all tell me what you think about

(12:51):
that one. I think I'm gonna save Trump. I'm gonn
talk about him a litle bit because I know Stan
talks about it, and I'll find a story tell you
about him.

Speaker 1 (13:02):
All I know it is every day every day.

Speaker 2 (13:09):
It's something every day every day.

Speaker 2 (16:15):
Okay, all right, bye bye, w D I A hello.

Speaker 10 (16:21):
We're doing a store chasing in the morning.

Speaker 11 (16:23):
Now what ah?

Speaker 1 (16:25):
Yep, saying Stan, I don't. I don't know why, but see,
let me come on up in here.

Speaker 12 (16:30):
How do you like?

Speaker 6 (16:30):
I'm ask your quick questions?

Speaker 10 (16:32):
So, but how do you like going the morning too?

Speaker 2 (16:36):
I'm gonna tell you what I say in the In
the evening, I don't want it, man, I sleep and
then I'm got used to it. I did mornings for
sixteen years. Uh you know over on the other station,
and uh yeah, man, when you get used to getting

(16:57):
rest at night, and I thought about staying too this morning,
because last night I could not stop reading all these stories.
I could not And that's not all I read. I
read about the young man in Florida. I wanted to
mention that guy to you because I mentioned him quickly yesterday.
And I'm wondering, since he used his mother's gun to

(17:20):
wreak havoc at that Florida university out there, and his
mama was a sheriff deputy. By the way, is she
going to get arrested too, that's my question.

Speaker 10 (17:31):
Well, normally they would charge the parents of the person
or the person that used in that weapon as well.
Remember what took place up in Michigan when a young
man went up there and shot up at the school
and they arrested the parents.

Speaker 2 (17:43):
Yeah, but that's a little different story because that kid
was a minor. This young man, from what I'm understanding,
is grown who knows not grown, but you know he's
see you.

Speaker 10 (17:58):
Know, you know, they be responsible for himself. Hey, Stormy,
good morning to you your call up the listeners. Stormy,
let me say this here. I was listening to your
talk and you may have mentioned about and they continue
to say this, and I hear it on the radio
and news reports that crime and Memphis is going down
on what street? That's it going down?

Speaker 2 (18:20):
Wait a minute, So you don't believe the crime is
going down, No.

Speaker 10 (18:24):
Ma'am, I do not each and every day when you
come on the ear. So when we come on this
radio station, we always hearing about what crime, what don't
happened in different parts of the city. It's just constantly,
constantly going So what tell me, how is crime going down? Stormy?
In my humble opinion, we got some pathetic and it's
not the politicians. I can't really throw it on them

(18:44):
because this is this is this is homegrown. This starts
at the family, on the family level. But Stormy, it
is out of control. I was told and I hadn't
read this, so don't quote me on this that now
people in the city of Memphis is moving out on
the housekirts to jerman Town, to Carville, Pyperton, even down

(19:06):
to Olive Branch and White Haven to get away from
the crime that's taking place in Memphis. I mean about
the car your bail. But Stormy, I say this and
I leave you with this. I have so upset with
our city and county officials. They can take money and
use it for whatever purpose that they want to without

(19:27):
consulting the citizens of Memphis. And it's this lady I
can't remember her name, and she said this, and I
leave you with this, Stormy.

Speaker 5 (19:36):
She said this.

Speaker 10 (19:37):
She said, the government will go to the people who
don't have the money and take the money from them,
but they won't go to the Federal Reserve unit to
people who print the money.

Speaker 1 (19:47):
Think about that.

Speaker 10 (19:48):
I noticed that they got to stay care take care
of the city. But if people don't have the money
to pay whatever taxes that they need to pay, and
you're throwing it more on top of them. Everybody know
that Honemy is jacked up at this moment. But we
got a mayor and the city council and the count
commission and the counter mayor that just think that money
growing on trees. I wish I could run for mayor.

(20:11):
I would turn this city around, Stormy.

Speaker 1 (20:13):
And I promise you, why can't you, Why can't you
run for mayor? Why can't you, Stormy?

Speaker 10 (20:18):
I probably wouldn't get five votes, and that five votes
probably would come from from family members. But I have
an idea about about how we can turn this around
other cities. I've done it on the same scale as
Myphis is and then making a profit without raising taxes
on everything but Memphis and politicians first thing.

Speaker 7 (20:39):
Is to raise taxes in order to get money.

Speaker 10 (20:42):
And if they were doing something with the money, I
can see it. I would have no problem with it. Okay, okay,
thank you for me. Let me fust shut out to
my brother nine percent. Steve's sitting in the beautiful white
and as I always say, sweet ADP and my brother
King Harry.

Speaker 2 (21:03):
All right, Prince chall thank you so much for calling in. Listen,
We're gonna take a break, We're gonna come back. I
do want to let you hear the press conference yesterday
from that shooting in Florida.

Speaker 1 (21:14):
Well, i'll let you hear a little bit of that
on the way.

Speaker 2 (21:15):
Y'all stick around and we are back ten seventy wd A.
I hope y'all got that keyword for the salad too.
I believe it is.

Speaker 1 (21:24):
Bank. Is that what I said it was.

Speaker 2 (21:29):
I'm a little discombobulated, you know why, because I ain't
never done this shift before, and it is a pleasure
to sit in with you. Even when Bobby was alive,
I never did the show, and mainly because I was
on the morning show somewhere else, so I couldn't come
over here and do this.

Speaker 1 (21:46):
You know what I'm saying. I'm gonna tell you something.

Speaker 2 (21:49):
Who you gotta have some guts to come up in here,
especially doing it every day. Oh y'all be hot on us, y'all.

Speaker 1 (21:58):
Do but you do.

Speaker 2 (21:59):
You gotta have and and and and you gotta you
gotta have a certain kind of something that gives you
the courage to.

Speaker 1 (22:09):
Talk on that.

Speaker 2 (22:09):
I don't care who you are to talk on these
microphones to the folks that listen to this great radio
station that have been listening, the people that tune in
all over the world.

Speaker 1 (22:20):
For real, kudos to you.

Speaker 2 (22:22):
Stand Bell, Come on here, give it up out hear
y'all give it up for stan Bell? Right now, give
it up a stand come on, mm hmmm h give
it up.

Speaker 1 (22:34):
Get it up.

Speaker 2 (22:37):
Too many collaps And let me tell you why, because
I'm going to this guy. Yesterday they went to the
White House, right, President Donald Trump. They talked to him, right,
and they ask him, now, you're gonna do any legislation,
what you're gonna do about this this gun situation? We
got going on in this country.

Speaker 1 (22:51):
So he said, I'm.

Speaker 13 (22:53):
Gonna ask to this.

Speaker 14 (22:53):
Look, I'm a big advocate of the Second Amendment.

Speaker 1 (22:56):
That happen, I protected it and these things.

Speaker 6 (23:00):
They're terrible.

Speaker 1 (23:02):
But the gun doesn't do the shooting. The people do.

Speaker 14 (23:05):
It's you know, a phrase, it's used probably too often.
I will tell you that.

Speaker 1 (23:12):
It's a shame. I'm just hearing.

Speaker 3 (23:13):
About it now.

Speaker 1 (23:14):
I just hear about it.

Speaker 3 (23:16):
I know the area very well, I know the school
very well, know everything about it is Florida.

Speaker 2 (23:21):
Yeah, them kids down there, they they yeah, they're speaking
out too.

Speaker 1 (23:25):
They want something to be done too.

Speaker 3 (23:27):
You know, I'm gonna call on like, you know, Governor
Ron de Santez, the President Donald Trump for you know,
this stuff keeps going on, right, But we're you know,
praying every day. You know, prayer is good, prayers, chirtuality
is good.

Speaker 2 (23:40):
But uh, you know the sad part about it too,
is it happened close to Good Sunday. Nobody wants that.
I mean to Easter Sunday, Good Friday yesterday. But it's
not the only one that happened this week. The young
man that did the shooting in Dallas, he turned himself in.

Speaker 1 (23:57):
Turn himself in.

Speaker 2 (23:58):
This guy, the young this this man that you know
shot up the school in Florida.

Speaker 15 (24:05):
I just yea, can we understand that you all have
been devastated because of this person's actions. The question that
relates to who is a shooter? A shooter is twenty
year old Phoenix Hechner Heikener and he's a son of
a Land County sheriff deputy. Our deputy Definity Eichner has

(24:31):
been with the Land County Sheriff's office for over eighteen years.
She has a tremendous job that she's done. Her service
to this community has been exceptional.

Speaker 2 (24:44):
And I get all of that, But what do you
do now? Young Eichner twenty years old shot up the school,
killed two people, and last I saw, I think it
was two people that had died. And y'all can correct
me if I'm wrong. His mama is a what do
you do? And he used reportedly the parents service weapon

(25:04):
in that crime.

Speaker 1 (25:06):
Mm hmmm. Let me go back to the phone.

Speaker 16 (25:09):
W D I A.

Speaker 14 (25:09):
Hello, good morning, Stormy change.

Speaker 1 (25:13):
Good morning, miss Anne. How you doing.

Speaker 14 (25:16):
I'm real good and I'm very thankful that you're there
this morning. I hurt your boss and one, I opened the.

Speaker 11 (25:23):
Other eye open.

Speaker 14 (25:24):
That's the way I heard the announcement first saying saying,
saying that you were going to be sitting in for
here this morning. Yeah, And I said, oh, I thought
it was gonna be after Norman the game. When I
hurt your boss, I think hit the fountain, and I'm
just fanna thank you for being there.

Speaker 1 (25:41):
Baby, You're welcome, miss Anne.

Speaker 17 (25:43):
Thank you.

Speaker 14 (25:44):
I wasn't intending to get up your dirty this morning,
but I hurt your boys and I got it.

Speaker 7 (25:49):
Thank you.

Speaker 14 (25:51):
Yeah, PRIs Charles, Baby, I was stuckle when you were
talking because I know, for one thing, your heart might
be right if you did when to get to be
the mayor bou See, Baby, you would do.

Speaker 1 (26:03):
The same thing.

Speaker 14 (26:04):
Rest I'm doing whatever these power shakers, these movers and
shakers and these power brokers wanted you to do and
take their money for you told that that's what you
would be doing.

Speaker 7 (26:14):
Paper, So you know it is what it is.

Speaker 14 (26:16):
Chris Charms. And as far as the shooter, I'm waiting
to seek the rhetoric, the rhetoric that's going to be
behind him. What they're going to say, how they're going
to say it, how they're gonna get behind his mother,
who's eighteen year deputy with.

Speaker 18 (26:38):
The department.

Speaker 14 (26:40):
I just want to see how this is going to
be him though, and I want my paper.

Speaker 18 (26:44):
To pay attention now.

Speaker 14 (26:47):
And see if they're gonna get on the band wagon
and bash him. Now, summer you all been on the
bad wagon bashing Kamala.

Speaker 1 (26:56):
Come out for this name camp.

Speaker 2 (26:57):
You're talking about Carmelo Anthony, the young kids out of Frisco.

Speaker 1 (27:02):
That's what. Hold on one second, this's and you're talking
about that.

Speaker 14 (27:04):
A lot of people have jumped on the bandwagon. Help
him to bast this young man before justice justice can
take his course. You are watched the difference now, y'all
ready to see a difference in the situation. But we're
gonna we got another situation.

Speaker 1 (27:19):
Now to compare it to.

Speaker 5 (27:21):
And saw me.

Speaker 14 (27:22):
If you don't say one word is wanting about Donald Trump,
it'll be a whole lot of us. They won't care
us right all so much because we went Trump down,
Trump over Trump, ran over this every morning on this
show about Donald Trump. We don't care if we don't
hear nothing about it today.

Speaker 1 (27:40):
Thank you dollar, all right, thank you his an.

Speaker 2 (27:42):
Yeah, Dad gotta keep y'all in the know. He gotta
tell you what that man.

Speaker 1 (27:45):

said yesterday. Yeah, man, you need to know. You need
to know. W D I A Hello, Hey, Hello, you're
on the there?

Speaker 12 (28:00):
Okay, Gray, thank you.

Speaker 17 (28:02):
I never know when I'm on, but I was calling,
and I agree with that leslator. I'm not I was
gonna say something about him, but I'm not gonna mention him.
Happy Good Friday to you, and I'm so glad he
decided to die for me. And I'm so glad he
stayed up there all day Friday, come on, all.

Speaker 8 (28:20):
Day Saturday, and at that last.

Speaker 17 (28:22):
Sunday morning, come on, he got up.

Speaker 8 (28:25):
Yes, he got up so weak to be saved.

Speaker 17 (28:27):
That we could have eternal life.

Speaker 18 (28:29):
But when I caused to tell you.

Speaker 17 (28:33):
The guy that shot the Florida shooting.

Speaker 2 (28:36):
The Florida you talking about the twenty year old young
man whose mom was a deputy.

Speaker 17 (28:39):
Yes, yes, they said a weapon that he used was
an old weapon of hers. Like they said, when they
issued the police officer Sheriff's department new weapons, they can
opt to keep the old one. So it was one
of her service weapons. But it was an old one
that had They had replaced it with another one, but
she had decided to keep that one. So it wasn't

(29:00):
her current weapon that he used the old weapons that. Yeah,
but they're saying that they don't, they said from a
legal perspective, because she was of age, she wasn't a minor.
Nothing probably will happened to her like that way, but
probably from her job. They may do something or cite
her for something or whatever, but not from a legal

(29:23):
perspective because she couldn't be helped accountable for what he did.

Speaker 1 (29:27):
Okay, okay, yeah.

Speaker 18 (29:29):
Yeah, all right, thank you for taking my call.

Speaker 1 (29:32):
You're very welcome.

Speaker 2 (29:33):

Now I'm after us, you know, and half of East.
Everyone had a say week of Eastern weekend. You know
how about you feel you got gottish can You know

your house.

Speaker 1 (33:08):
You don't want it, We don't want it.

Speaker 18 (33:10):
You know you don't want it already. So that's the
Eastern weekend.

Speaker 14 (33:13):
You know you got gobbage running? You know what I'm
saying everywhere?

Speaker 17 (33:15):
And let me say this right here.

Speaker 18 (33:16):
When the Natives when I called.

Speaker 11 (33:17):
Three, one, one, but she had the nerve to tell
me they only pick up one godish can.

Speaker 1 (33:22):
This don't make no sense.

Speaker 7 (33:23):
You know one is though the one is so uh.

Speaker 11 (33:26):
I didn't even ask him to get the garbage. I
had the garbage in my hand, running in the street
with it, and he wasn't gonna pick it up.

Speaker 18 (33:32):
The little arm rests long.

Speaker 11 (33:33):
I was gonna pick it up, you know that. And
that's what was so disturbing, because I'm like, I got
the god a can just put let me pull.

Speaker 17 (33:39):
It up to this and throw it in there. That
hurt me to my heart.

Speaker 1 (33:46):

Speaker 1 (35:08):
Oh that chipmunk.

Speaker 2 (35:09):
It's been showing up last couple of days. I don't
know what's going on, but it's been showing up and
showing out.

Speaker 1 (35:14):
W G I A Hello.

Speaker 5 (35:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 14 (35:19):
I was saying to myself, I said, did she need

hear what she was saying.

Speaker 7 (35:27):
She oh, before I forget.

Speaker 18 (35:30):
Storm you don't have to come in this evening.

Speaker 14 (35:33):
I checked my boss mail and staying left me a
bossmail to sit in your place.

Speaker 16 (35:43):
Man, all right, lady g thank you, but don't come.

Speaker 1 (35:58):
It's the lady d sh joe. That would be something,
wouldn't it.

Speaker 14 (36:03):
S You need to still this stuff going out out
of you better get some laugh in your life. Right.
But saw me on the you know this, these shootings
at these schools.

Speaker 1 (36:19):
What what's you know?

Speaker 18 (36:21):
What is wrong with the young people?

Speaker 14 (36:23):
What makes you so angry? You go on the campus
all y'all up there for the same.

Speaker 1 (36:29):
Things supposed to be supposed to be.

Speaker 14 (36:32):
To get along?

Speaker 6 (36:34):
You know?

Speaker 17 (36:35):
Uh?

Speaker 14 (36:36):
And I don't know if people don't pay attention to
the size that's the woman. Do you take that young
man just woke up overnight and decide, well, I'm gonna
go up here shoes. Somebody connected to that child he
was playing on doing this instead of them doing the

(36:57):
right thing. They don't be el when people come to
you telling you they finna do something, Believe them, Stormy,
they cast somewhere down the line they're gonna act on it.
See grown people now, if our president. I'm calling the
president and if he want to do something, just like

(37:18):
he's rounding up these you know, some of the you
know what I'm talking about.

Speaker 1 (37:23):
And walk that's what they need to do, Stormy.

Speaker 7 (37:29):
See, he'll make me real hacken.

Speaker 14 (37:32):
If he's sending message to all the young bucks and
wherever sitting you in, whatever town you in, I'm sending
you to ask Sabad. I'm getting you out this country overnight.

Speaker 4 (37:45):
Now listen that native.

Speaker 14 (37:46):
These overnight they'll put the guards down. Use they ain't
nothing but cows. They scared.

Speaker 18 (37:53):
And see, you can't send.

Speaker 14 (37:55):
No message in your town because they don't respect him.
But maybe I'm selling message. That's the message you need
to sit out.

Speaker 1 (38:04):
I'll tell you, lady D And you know what. You
might be right, and thank you for calling. You might
be right.

Speaker 2 (38:09):
Let me tell you what happened last night. I don't
know if y'all saw this. It's a Disney Memphis. Y'all
see this? So at an apartment complex. I don't understand it.
I'm looking at this video on social media right, Oh,
I'm sorry.

Speaker 12 (38:28):
So so.

Speaker 1 (38:30):
This was at an apartment complex here in Memphis. I've
never seen.

Speaker 2 (38:34):
I don't know what this apartment complex was. But sorry, y'all,
that's my alarm to wake up in the morning, up early.
But anyway, back to back to me. I'm looking at
this video. This is Memphis. It's gone viral on Instagram.
Uh and if you want to see it, well trace

(38:55):
is it okay for me?

Speaker 1 (38:55):
Okay?

Speaker 2 (38:56):
So yeah, okay, I'm gonna get back to these phones.
Lady Pete don't call me. And she wronged for that,
but she might be right. But this is this I
am sitting there for stand hello and I gotta talk.
I'm the host of the show in Memphis at an
apartment complex. Somebody took a video and y'all, if y'all

(39:18):
know this apartment complex, y'all call me and tell me.
But Mill Creek, they say, Mill Creek. I'm looking at
some of the messages. So a car is trying to leave, right,
I don't know what's going on. There's a red car there,
the white car is trying to leave. The red car
hits the white car. There's a dude on.

Speaker 1 (39:35):
The opposite side in a gray car watching all of this, right,
he's standing up inside the car.

Speaker 2 (39:41):
This is at an apartment complex in Memphis. The red
car hits the white car. The dude that's outside of
the car takes the gun, the big old gun that's
in his hand.

Speaker 1 (39:53):
This is Memphis, shoots the tires on the red car.
Then the red car skirts on out of y'all yip
the kai yai ya. This don't make no.

Speaker 2 (40:09):
Sense, and nobody seem like they kid, even the people
that did the video.

Speaker 1 (40:14):
You're cussing and Karen on that just I don't understand it.
This was yesterday.

Speaker 2 (40:22):
Let me go back to these phones, y'all, y'all try
to hit it and quit it. I gonna let y'all
talk a little bit too long, now stand. I don't
wanna stand calling me telling me to get them off.
W D, I A hello, Glyde, what's going on?

Speaker 20 (40:36):
You know who?

Speaker 6 (40:36):
You know who your long winding callers is, Lady D
Lady Pete David.

Speaker 8 (40:42):
Yeah, I'm gonna call him out.

Speaker 6 (40:43):
You already know they know they are big boosted.

Speaker 1 (40:47):
You have a nice day song. Oh that's oh, thank you, Clyd.
He's the gift that keeps on giving, isn't he.

Speaker 6 (40:54):
W D?

Speaker 21 (40:54):
I A hello, Hey are you today?

Speaker 1 (40:57):
I'm fabulous? How you doing?

Speaker 21 (40:59):
I thought I was dreaming, I said, wait a minute.
I don't let the day go by it.

Speaker 1 (41:02):
But no, you're not dreaming, Andrew, you are not dreaming.
I am here.

Speaker 21 (41:09):
Look, I'm not gonna be long, but I'm gonna make
it strong. I know people got this hatred that they
got for Donald Trump, but I haven't heard anybody mentioned
that in this Holy Weak proclamation. This man did something
out of my sixty four years, I've never seen any
president do. Not only did he say it, he put
it in writing that he's praying for outpouring of the
Holy Spirit.

Speaker 12 (41:30):
I've never heard of the Holy Spirit.

Speaker 21 (41:32):
Now one time in my life.

Speaker 3 (41:33):
Hmm.

Speaker 21 (41:35):
And my thing is they've let these people make them
hate this man to the point. Look, if you don't
like Donald Trump and you don't like Republicans, ain't got
no problem with that, But don't let that make you
vote against God. All these people do is pay law
with a boy can be a girl killing the baby.
I want a legal immigrant to come over here and
get legal rights. That's not gonna help black crime, black education,
or black poverty. These people are sitting out of here.

(41:56):
Everything they do is anti God. And they might not
answer to me, but you're gonna answer to God. For
vote against God. Watch the see.

Speaker 2 (42:03):
All right, mister Andrews, thank you so much for calling.
I appreciate that call. Okay, we go to this phone.

Speaker 1 (42:07):
W D I A helo.

Speaker 7 (42:10):
Hey, Hey he's doing. How you're doing?

Speaker 1 (42:11):
I'm good? How you doing? Common man? Talk to man.
Everything's good. Two steps right, quick and I'll be quick.

Speaker 20 (42:19):
Uh.

Speaker 7 (42:20):
Regarding the guy that got shot in the back down
on the people's porch.

Speaker 2 (42:24):
Yeah, the guy that had the gloves on and the
mask beside him, the mask and the power tool in
his bag beside him.

Speaker 7 (42:32):
Yeah, right, he probably been getting ready to brother radd
somebody props.

Speaker 1 (42:36):
It or something like that. Step ding ding ding ding ding.

Speaker 8 (42:40):
Uh huh.

Speaker 7 (42:41):
But I think it's very hard to shoot somebody in
the back in the state of Tennessee and not be
charged with it. Matter of fact, I know a young
lady that a guy her boyfriend jumped on her and
beat up real bad inside her house, and she got
up and got a gun and shot him. But when
she shot him, she shot him in the back and
killed him. Wow, And she was try referred to be
murder She tried first agree murdered in convicted right right

(43:03):
to this day. And uh so He's real hard to
shoot somebody in the back and not be charged. So
I think the person will be up there ever found,
you know. And as far as far as the young
lady over in h Cooper young you know whoever those
the boys are, because she said she thinks they were minors,
I think the parents should be charged head accountable because
she said that one of the boys said something.

Speaker 1 (43:25):
About who who you know his little brother? All get
my little brother.

Speaker 7 (43:29):
So somebody know who those kids are. And for them
kids to do that later like that, that was that
was absolutely ridiculous. That it was like what six months pregnant.

Speaker 1 (43:38):
Us out six months predicted.

Speaker 7 (43:42):
So I think the police charge to parents in that
case that those kids are minors, they find them, they
should be head account That was that was really really pathetic.

Speaker 2 (43:52):
Yeah, really is thank you coming man, appreciate your calling it. Okay,
all right, w d I A hello.

Speaker 1 (43:58):
How you doing?

Speaker 6 (43:58):
Stormers?

Speaker 7 (43:59):
Blessed stormy words?

Speaker 1 (44:02):
It safe to go at in Memphis? Uh let me see. Hmm.

Speaker 2 (44:07):
Police stations I think may be pretty safe. I would
say the library, but the uh hmmm, I don't know.
I ain't gonna lie.

Speaker 1 (44:20):
I don't know, you know what.

Speaker 7 (44:27):
There's nowhere to go Station messhis Stormy. The only places
you can go to safe in Memphis are outside of
Meshis Miltington, Collington, UH, Statey County, Oakland, South Haven, Olive Branch,
Fernando porn Lake. Those about the safest places you can
go to.

Speaker 1 (44:45):
UH.

Speaker 7 (44:46):
And also Memsphis needs a revolval. It's just too much killings.

Speaker 19 (44:51):
And also, UH, Paul Mayor Paul Young said, crime going down.
I'm trying to see, yeah, crime going down.

Speaker 6 (44:59):
Uh.

Speaker 19 (45:00):
If crime going down, then Memphis is a safe place
to di it m And another thing, storming. We've been
having a murder of shootings and mostly killings every day
since the beginning of January of the new year. I
don't understand how crime is going down. If anything, crime
is going up, and people just don't want admit it.

(45:22):
So what we need to do, UH is just continue
to pray for the city. Pray that Amen Trump gets involved.
Also Trump does need to get involved with Memphis. And
I'm gonna tell you why because with Elon Musk coming
down here, Elon Musk is gonna hear about the crime
and it's gonna alert Trump, and Trump is gonna get
this city back the way that it should be. Mark

(45:43):
my word, storm is just amount of time.

Speaker 1 (45:47):
I want to want.

Speaker 7 (45:47):
God bless you.

Speaker 1 (45:49):
We can enjoy your Easter to you.

Speaker 2 (45:52):
Appreciate you calling anything. I want to believe him. I do,
But I feel like Trump is already here. And one
day I'm gonna explain to you why I say that.

Speaker 12 (46:03):
W D I A hello, How you doing, I'm good?

Speaker 1 (46:07):
How you doing?

Speaker 21 (46:09):
Oh, I'm great?

Speaker 12 (46:09):
Sweeting that freak niggas. That thing's gonna still going to Memphis,
I think so. I see I made a commented about
a few weeks ago. I'm totally against it. There's just
a time, but I'm waiting to happen.

Speaker 20 (46:21):
These people don't know acting Mefit is your self explanatory.

Speaker 12 (46:24):
You do not need to have that here. You can't
get thirty people together without shooting and killing.

Speaker 20 (46:29):
Now you talk about thousands, that's like putting a gasoline
on the side.

Speaker 2 (46:34):
Mister Robert, Here's what I'm I'm confused about.

Speaker 1 (46:37):
How do you get up out have your head out
of a car at and they say this is mill Creek.

Speaker 2 (46:45):
I could be wrong, and I forgive me if I
am that. This is what it's saying on social media.
How do you stand up in a car with a
big old gun in your hand, shoot out another.

Speaker 14 (46:57):
Car and and.

Speaker 2 (47:01):
Hopefully somebody's gotten arrested. But how do you do that
in broad day light?

Speaker 12 (47:06):
Don't care? Like I said, if they hold this freak dick,
watch the outcome. I hate to say it.

Speaker 20 (47:12):
You try not to be negative, but if you go
on statistics in what you see every night, every day,
it shouldn't be here.

Speaker 12 (47:20):
Yeah, And Paul Young, I can say he was a
younger mayor. I didn't vote for him. I'm just against him.
I don't think he was ready for the job. And
I just don't think he was ready for the job.
Solution where you were young.

Speaker 20 (47:35):
Or old, because we had a solution, you will solve
the problem, and then selling that lie every year crime
is down. I don't care what you say. It's no
way in the world crime is down. If you are
citizens keeping up what's going on in the news, it's
no way it's down.

Speaker 12 (47:51):
If anything is about double wow.

Speaker 21 (47:54):
You know.

Speaker 20 (47:55):
But as for Paul Young, he's just too young for
that job. I mean, because an older male would to
win for his freakingick.

Speaker 12 (48:02):
He was just a young guy. So you know, he's
got these young ideals. That's not working for this city.
Because you know when he claimed he was talking to
the game members.

Speaker 21 (48:10):
You heard about that one time.

Speaker 12 (48:12):
You never heard nothing else about that.

Speaker 20 (48:14):
But that's just a big put on about Cram is down.
But anybody would come and says, no, Cram not down.

Speaker 1 (48:21):
Thank you soing me all right, thank you, thank you
so much. Appreciate you calling in w D.

Speaker 7 (48:25):

Speaker 7 (49:52):
I did, so he didn't hire me.

Speaker 5 (49:53):

And then they'll go to a.

Speaker 13 (52:50):
Uh North Haven like over there, not North Taking, but
uh uh Highland Heights area over there. That's time something

just some jobs for these kids. Maybe it's some kind
of work, if they can pay out some kind of
system where they gonna.

Speaker 11 (55:04):
Be paying them.

Speaker 18 (55:06):
I would be willing to pay more taxes, tax money,
just just so these kids didn't have a job. Because
that's what they need.

Speaker 1 (55:16):
They need, they need to make some money.

Speaker 18 (55:19):
And I think that that's that all Lord of Crime,
and that will stoll some.

Good brother.

Speaker 1 (56:13):
Running for MAYL. You running for Mayo? No, of course,
not like I.

Speaker 4 (56:17):
Like I told another caller, you be You'll be better
to be watching paint dry than to wait for me
to get into politics. But my good brother, James brother
James D. K.

Speaker 6 (56:28):
Pope, Johnny ancestors and I just day before yesterday, So
I guess there is a differvantage of being on Facebook.
One other thing I.

Speaker 1 (56:41):
Want to say, David, my my.

Speaker 5 (56:46):
I gotta go.

Speaker 1 (56:47):
Baby, excuse me, Oh lord, I did something.

Speaker 2 (56:53):
I did something that I tell people not to do
to me. But this ain't my show, just staying show.
I call that man, baby.

Speaker 1 (56:58):
I ain't supposed to do that. I'm so sorry to
my baby that I call that man because I talked
to you all the time. I mean, now I got
to go home and explain this. What in the world
w d I a hello?

Speaker 21 (57:10):
Hello?

Speaker 1 (57:11):
He's there, Lily.

Speaker 5 (57:12):
How are you.

Speaker 9 (57:13):
I'm fine, I'm good.

Speaker 4 (57:14):
I'm quick.

Speaker 9 (57:15):
Also, but I was reading this morning his paper that Florida.
The officials in Florida, they said that they are fed
up with spring breaks. So hopefully the freak nick won't
come to Memphis. And as far as a little man,
that staff, the other guy, the young man, as I
said before, we need to start turning the other cheek.

Speaker 18 (57:34):
As I mentioned to Pastor Norman on yesterday.

Speaker 9 (57:37):
And we show am a little eight year old, that
eight year old and the nine year old that yeah,
they had probably seen this news about this man how
he handed the situation. And that's just showing them how
we have to have.

Speaker 7 (57:51):
A problem, which is really not really good.

Speaker 14 (57:53):
And the boys Chief Davis as boy as far as all.

Speaker 9 (57:57):
The clime in our city. I'm gonna say this. We
need we have the wrong person in charge. We need
a strong, strong mail. I'm gonna say male role model,
because I think our young men would probably respect them
more than other people. We need a strong nail role model.

Speaker 2 (58:15):
Thank you, all right, thank you, Miss Lilly. Yes, yes,
all right, already set.

Speaker 8 (58:25):
Go w D I A hello, Hey, hey, hey, how
you doing.

Speaker 22 (58:31):
I'm good, I'm doing good. My name is Robert Ridman,
first time caller on your show. I'm gonna say this.

Speaker 1 (58:38):
Quick about the guns.

Speaker 22 (58:40):
You see, the guns don't kill people, if people, but
when people going out of bullets, they need to say
when they go to these stores to buy the bullets,
show that that's your gun. And most of these people
shooting is ones. That's stiding guns the bullets for their gun,
and the.

Speaker 8 (59:00):
Gun is no good to them.

Speaker 17 (59:01):
Right.

Speaker 1 (59:03):
That's a good idea, and that might take some doing
with the store on them.

Speaker 22 (59:06):
Because everything is about money, and people overlooked the laws.
But if the laws could be put in look thick
and carry it out through people.

Speaker 8 (59:16):
Like you said, it's all about money.

Speaker 22 (59:17):
That's why years ago in the project, when people stayed
in the project. They had people coming around to see that.
No man stayed in the house with this woman and
her children.

Speaker 18 (59:28):
Thank you saw me very much.

Speaker 1 (59:29):
All right, you're welcome right on time.

Speaker 16 (59:33):
W d I a l o.

Speaker 8 (59:36):
I am the most aeradite mind bring you think you're
bringing thinking political for Look you know how to go
and apologize at all about calling the democrat got no
baby with me? And baby because most of them got
a little.

Speaker 1 (59:52):
Move along, we move along? What else you got leave
them alone? Move along?

Speaker 12 (59:56):
Well?

Speaker 8 (59:57):
They pick on means that I pick on them. But
let me say this real quick.

Speaker 1 (01:00:02):
If a Democrat jump off a bridge, what you're gonna do.

Speaker 8 (01:00:07):
I'm not jumping off the bridge. I'll tell you what y'all,
but I'll tell you what if y'all blocked the bridge
again that you did some years ago, I'm gonna smoke
y'all out. But let me say this here. Oh yeah,
I look if I if I was a mayor, they
wouldn't have been on that Look. If I was a mayor,
they wouldn't have been on that bridge a good thirty minute.

(01:00:28):
I would have gave you about ninety seven get off
the bridge. Else I was gonna smoke him out.

Speaker 1 (01:00:32):
But let them say it here.

Speaker 12 (01:00:34):
All my time is up.

Speaker 8 (01:00:39):
That's your fault.

Speaker 1 (01:00:40):
So that's your fault.

Speaker 8 (01:00:41):
I get Tim won't second. I get Tim won't second.

Speaker 1 (01:00:44):
Nope, by black conservatives. Talk to you later.

Speaker 2 (01:00:51):
I have a good Friday everybody, and I hope you
have a fabulous one.
