Speaker 1 (00:01):
Stormy conversations, stormy conversations, he said, after after these arms,
stormy conversations, God, speak your mind, make your mind.
Speaker 2 (00:18):
Got something the same. Now it's the time. It's the time.
You can talk about.
Speaker 3 (00:23):
Any situation, situation and the fast, stormy conversations, stormy.
Speaker 1 (00:30):
Conversation, stormy conversations.
Speaker 3 (00:35):
You can talk about any situation, the good and the beast,
stormy conversation.
Speaker 2 (00:43):
I'm telling me rapping one. Hendry's outside the door looking
at me, rapping because I was rapping with my god
mister cane ALCOPSI oh boy, yeah, I was rapping with him.
Speaker 4 (00:58):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (00:58):
I you know, I'm just in me now, So I
do I rap with him? You know, before I you know,
turn the microphone. But I think I tell you sorry,
that's not sorry, but sorry, you know what I'm saying. Hey, everybody,
Happy Monday to you. I hope your Monday is doing well.
All right, Everybody's going okay. So yesterday, y'all, I got
(01:22):
a chance to Over the weekend, I had a chance
to talk to Bobby White with a Greater Memphis Chamber,
and uh, I didn't get to ask him a whole
lot of stuff, but we talked a lot about x
A I, and uh, there are people that still have
concerns and that still have questions, even after talking to
(01:43):
Bobby White. I still I still have questions. Uh, and
not because I necessarily have them, but I was talking
to a friend who listened to the show, and he
had questions and now that you know when when he
but there were questions that I had too, because you know,
I want to know with these gas or were they
(02:04):
the turbines that they have. I think they're like fifteen
of them. And Bobby talked about them too when he
talked about how you know, they don't emit as much
pollution as as you know, we think that they do.
They're not, you know, so at any rate. Uh, people
are you know, criticizing the XAI supercomputer's impact on the community,
(02:27):
and so they're talking about all of that, and you know,
it's just kind of got me thinking, fifteen methane turbines,
uh huh, permanently in our community and I hear, you know,
there's very there's very little pollution, and that the way
that they're built, and this is what Bobby told me,
the way that they're built, they're built to not pollute
(02:51):
as much as you know, some things out there do pollutes.
So that's why Mayor Young, I guess, is saying there's
going to be minimal pollution. But one thing he also
said that I thought was interesting. Mayor Young over the weekend,
I saw where he said that he's working on an ordinance,
the first of his kind in Memphis that dedicates a
(03:12):
portion of tax revenue created by x AI to support
projects and improvements in the three eight one nine zip code.
What about the people around it? You know what I'm saying.
I know that's where you know, the you know, the
computer is housed in that area, and those folks are
(03:34):
definitely concerned. But I think we're all, you know, uh,
somewhat concerned. I did, let me say this, I did
appreciate Bobby answering a lot of the questions that he
answered for me, because he did help me out. And
ain't gonna lot to you y'all gonna have to go
listen to it because and forgot everything, you see everything.
(03:55):
But he explained some things to me, and I was like,
you know what, it was a better explanation and I've
gotten from anybody. He kind of put it in, laid
it out, in Layman's terms, So thank you Bobby White
for that. I still got questions, still got questions, especially
about those turbines, you know, and what are they needed for?
(04:18):
Are they needed for the supercomputer? And I didn't ask him.
I don't think I asked him that question. So I
did tell him that he had he needed. I needed
him to come back so that we could talk some
more about this, you know, and just just help the
community understand, because you know, we woke up one morning
and xay I was here. That supercomputer was in men.
(04:38):
We just woke up and they told us about it,
you know what I'm saying when they got ready, and
Eli had probably been here the whole time, the whole time,
because I understand his brother and correct me if I'm wrong.
His brother owned a restaurant out at Shelby Farms, and
(05:00):
I ate that restaurant before I did. I didn't like it,
some of that stuff on that menu. I thought, Oh,
this is gonna be great because at the time, I was,
you know, completely a vegetarian, and I thought, oh, this
is gonna be great because I thought they had vegetarian
options and they did not ate there one time, and
I was like, oh, no, I won't be going back.
(05:21):
But anyway, his brother had you know, a restaurant here
and it's gone now. But Elon is here, and y'all,
whether we like it or not, he's here. And honestly,
I don't know what the effects of all of this
will be. I do know that you know that people
other people want more meetings with him, and you know,
(05:41):
people are you know, talking about there may be once,
you know, scheduled today. I don't know. But again, I
want to say thank you to Bobby White for coming in.
If y'all want to hear that, I'm gonna put it
up on the Pulse podcast so you can, you know,
here for yourself and and and you know, let me
know if you got it. Questions, you know, because maybe
you do. And maybe maybe you can me a question
that I didn't ask so that I can ask and
(06:04):
so we can get more clarity on And I think
it's good that we're asking questions. I think it's good
that we want to know what is in our community.
You know what I'm saying, Because if something does happen negatively,
who does it affect the people in the community. I
heard y'all say it with me, say it one more
time the people in the community. Yeah us so, uh yeah,
(06:30):
that's definitely something we got to look out for. Yeah,
A few things I wanted to tell you about church
was yesterday y'all go to church. I know, Glyde, I
can hear you right now. No, I did not. Anyway,
Marvin sab I'm feeling bad for him because he has
(06:56):
really been being vilified right now and the Sad Party
is too. Not only is being vilified, but he's also
getting death threats for why why y'all want to send
this man death threats over a video that was a
year old number one and that the people that were
there weren't complaining about. I don't understand people, you know
what I'm saying now, he got to explain himself.
Speaker 5 (07:18):
People took issue with me saying shut the doors. Understand
I never said lock the doors. Yeah, I said shut
the doors. Shutting doors mean that people still have the
ability to go in and out. They've taken an issue
with my tone, and I can honestly say, you know,
looking at the video, maybe I was a little more
(07:40):
assertive than I should.
Speaker 2 (07:41):
Have been, and I can apologize for that.
Speaker 5 (07:44):
You know, I could apologize for that, but the three
things I need to make sure the people understood. Number One,
the forty thousand dollars, if it was forty thousand dollars
that was raised, was never given to me.
Speaker 2 (07:56):
So he never got that money. He never got that money.
It was not even for him.
Speaker 5 (08:01):
And made something out of it that it isn't. And
because of that, my church has been getting phone calls.
People have called my church and cussed me out. My
staff are afraid because I've perceived death threats.
Speaker 2 (08:16):
I just I don't get it. Why would y'all? Why
do I don't? I don't get it. I know people
are upset, but I just don't. I don't get it.
I don't. I don't And that's just me. I mean,
I don't get it. I mean, basically, he apologized, But
(08:37):
I don't get the death threats. Why I don't. I
don't get that. I don't get this either. Did y'all
hear about the Phoenix teacher that was arrested? The Phoenix
teacher that was arrested and its Black Information network y'all
wrong for posting this one, but anyway, he was arrested
(08:59):
for allegedly urinating in the classroom and exposing himself to
his students. Now, he claims, I ain't know I was
doing that. I ain't know they could see me. I
ain't no, I ain't no, I don't know. Y'all believe him.
I believe he lied. He hads sitting in the classroom,
they hear something sound like something dripping. It's hell peeing
(09:19):
in a cup. If you don't get joke. Anyway, he resigned.
They didn't even have to find joker resound kids. The
kids are probably traumatized, court documents said. After the students
were interviewed, Hinton was arrested and read his Miranda rights.
(09:43):
Students saw him. These were kids. Now, now I'm really
mad because I thought they were older eleven twelve. Oh yeah,
you're lying. You're going down, sir, You're going down. And lastly,
what's going on on with our kids? This generation? Is?
(10:03):
I think they're gen z, these young these wasn't so
this young man he posted this on Reddit, and I
believe he's in Memphis. But y'all, when I saw this,
I said, I'll bless his heart, bless his little entitled heart.
But so he wanted people to help him out. So
maybe y'all can help him, he says, today, my aunt's boyfriend,
(10:28):
Daniel gave me a notice that I will be kicked
out of the house and have to go live with
my dad if I don't do a butt load of
chores that he has wrote down. He wrote him a note.
He posted the note too on social media as well.
He said some are reasonable because I live here and
(10:52):
I do not pay rent. Y'all hear that part he
don't pay rent, But the vacuuming the living room, kitchen,
hallway in my bathroom feels kind of outrageous, along with
cleaning my bathroom once a week. You gotta be kidding me.
(11:15):
I would understand that if we shared chores. Man, you
ain't paying no rent. What you're talking about sharing chores?
You gotta be kidding me anyway, he said. Daniel gave
me for advice this this note, he says, but I
don't know if that's a good idea because of the
(11:37):
way my aunt is. Please help, anything would be nice.
All Daniel did was write this one note. He wrote
him a note and said, as of Sunday, if you
failed to do any of the following chores, you will
be getting kicked out. So y'all tell me if y'all
(11:59):
think this is over doing it. One he got to
wash dishes. Two, you gotta clean his bathroom one time
a week. He got to clean the living room, hallway,
his room, the bathroom in the kitchen will be vacuumed
every other day. Your laundry will be done one time
(12:21):
a week. And you're done eating in your room. Besides
a cup of whatever you're drinking. You will do yard
work once a week. Man, you get free rent, and
you got a problem with all of is what is
going on with these young people? Y'all help this young
(12:43):
man out. First off, I say you got it good.
And then at the bottom of the un the uncle said,
your aunts shouldn't have to tell you to do everything.
If young people, if you live in a house, and
I say this love with your uncle or aunt or
your mom or whoever. You ain't paying no rent, wash
(13:06):
your dishes and clean your bathroom, clean up after yourself.
Nobody should have to tell you to do that. Nobody should.
We got to teach them. Try them up. Because this
young man right here, he got a problem. I cannot
believe that. Let me go to the phones WD. I
(13:27):
A hello Coller, you there, Hello.
Speaker 6 (13:33):
They stormy how you doing, Hey, I'm good.
Speaker 2 (13:35):
Ms Kosher, how you doing, I'm good. Good.
Speaker 4 (13:41):
Look, I just want to save to the people.
Speaker 7 (13:47):
You know, whenever you're in public, somebody's always watching and recording. Yes,
so if you want to beat the dog, beat the cat,
beat your woman, beat without being graphic, beat whatever else
you want to beat, somebody is always watching. Always it's stopping.
(14:12):
Somebody is waiting to record you.
Speaker 8 (14:17):
And post it.
Speaker 7 (14:20):
So people just need to be careful and just stop
doing out that foolishment.
Speaker 9 (14:26):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 2 (14:27):
You know what, take it all to the house. Take
it to your house exactly.
Speaker 9 (14:35):
Exactly.
Speaker 7 (14:39):
But anyway, uh fus uh the chores.
Speaker 6 (14:44):
M the young man, Yeah, how did he?
Speaker 2 (14:49):
I don't know. He didn't say. I'm wondering. I'm thinking
he's probably a teenager. But I mean, I could be wrong.
I could be wrong. I don't think he said his
age right.
Speaker 9 (15:00):
Right, but he could do some of that stuff.
Speaker 7 (15:03):
Now, I don't nobody cleaning his bathroom.
Speaker 2 (15:06):
Whose bathroom? His bathroom, his own bathroom.
Speaker 7 (15:12):
I thought the person that gave him the choice his bathroom.
Speaker 2 (15:15):
No, no, no, no, he's telling him to clean his
own bathroom. Basically, he's telling them wash your dishes when
you use them, vacuum because evidently he's messy and clean
and stop eating in your room because you he probably
got some roaches in there exactly.
Speaker 7 (15:34):
Yeah, he needs everything on that list, then he needs
to do it because I thought he was trying to
clean his bathroom.
Speaker 2 (15:39):
Oh no, no, no, no, no.
Speaker 7 (15:41):
Do all of it, all of it, all of it.
Speaker 2 (15:45):
I think he got a pretty good deal, especially staying
rent free.
Speaker 8 (15:50):
What you said, yes, mm hmm okay, sure, I mean
you have a good evening, Okay.
Speaker 2 (15:58):
All right, ms Kausha, thank you so much for calling
you in Bye bye bye bye w d I A hello,
Do you work?
Speaker 10 (16:07):
Uh?
Speaker 11 (16:07):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (16:07):
I don't think he works. He didn't say anything about
a job. Let me say that.
Speaker 4 (16:15):
So he's saying that free.
Speaker 2 (16:17):
Yeah, he's he's staying there with he's not paying any rent.
Speaker 4 (16:23):
Oh my gosh, sure he's free load.
Speaker 2 (16:28):
And then he's and then he's upset because Daniel, the
man who gave him the note, he's upset because he
said Daniel doesn't even do any chores. So it's like, uh,
but that's Daniel's house. Uh yeah, Daniel is the uncle
his well not his uncle, but his aunt's boyfriend.
Speaker 12 (16:52):
Shoot, I moved out.
Speaker 2 (16:54):
Then, well that's what he told him. If he doesn't
start doing chores, he's gonna have to move out. But
he wanted some advice from people.
Speaker 4 (17:01):
You want, man, get a job and get your own place.
That's the advice.
Speaker 2 (17:07):
There you go, there you go.
Speaker 4 (17:13):
I'll thank you more to this Ai thing you said Turbans.
I heard about the water because I can't say have
water that if they doing someone else over there saw
it like some nuclear factory or something because of that's
going on, you know what.
Speaker 2 (17:28):
Hey, I don't know, but I that was a question
that I was gonna ask about, and I did not
ask that. And that's why I told him I needed
him to come back, because that's a good question because
he's gonna be you know, there's gonna be other businesses evidently,
because he's buying, laying and all that. Uh, and he's
doing some good things.
Speaker 4 (17:48):
But one zero nine.
Speaker 8 (17:52):
Three eight yeah, that's after Douglas mm hm.
Speaker 4 (17:59):
Oh my god, oh all those back through that chemical
plants and everything.
Speaker 13 (18:04):
Man, something else going on.
Speaker 4 (18:05):
I'm glad not over here at three eight one one
one M. We need to investigate this baby girl.
Speaker 2 (18:12):
Something else going on there.
Speaker 4 (18:14):
I would show like to talk to that AI computer.
I blow some sockets in it because I'm not answer
might need to that.
Speaker 2 (18:23):
But what do you think about Mayor Young? He said
he's going to give a portion of the tax revenue
created by x Ai to support projects and improvements in
the three eight one zero nines of code. What do
you think about that?
Speaker 14 (18:37):
It didn't never happen.
Speaker 4 (18:38):
So it's going to the store. If that money will
be going to politician pocket some wear, you know, I
just don't believe. I see that. The process when the people,
you know, get these things going, because the three one
on nine are resuming, it's fathetic, baby girl, it really is.
Speaker 14 (19:01):
It gives the.
Speaker 4 (19:02):
Brand new w school out there, the high school part,
the part I went to saw them and they hadn't
done anything with it. They got that big beautible park
out there. But the surrounding area saw them, and it
looks like you're in third world country, baby, wow.
Speaker 15 (19:20):
Third world country. Man, m all these houses over there.
Speaker 4 (19:26):
There's man back in the fiches and forties. Come on,
people knowing definitely nothing. They got all the multi million
dollar companies around.
Speaker 15 (19:38):
Y'all don't see that, but I see it.
Speaker 16 (19:39):
Man.
Speaker 4 (19:40):
It's ridiculous. And then AI want to go out there
and do something. And then they use the turbine, they're
using the water wet there, they have to do some
dog gun computer.
Speaker 2 (19:51):
Well I found out that. I found out they're not
using a lot of the water from.
Speaker 4 (19:55):
Yeah, right, we complained about it. It's more going on, so.
Speaker 2 (20:00):
You think so, okay, all right, I'm forgetful if you
say so, and you could be right. You could be right,
and maybe we're just not asking the right questions.
Speaker 4 (20:09):
Yeah, I hope it will be a more UFO fight
around here.
Speaker 2 (20:14):
Yeah, we got enough of them. We got enough of
them already. Yeah, we got we got enough of u
f o's around there. Thank you. I'm forgetful. Okay, bye bye,
w D I A hello, good afternoon, Good afternoon.
Speaker 6 (20:36):
Okay, I was calling about that computer.
Speaker 2 (20:39):
Okay, who is this?
Speaker 9 (20:41):
Okay?
Speaker 2 (20:41):
This is BJ DJ, your first time caller, DJ, because
I don't know if I've ever talked to you before.
Are you a first time caller?
Speaker 13 (20:49):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (20:50):
Well, welcome on in here, come on in. Oh, thank you, welcome,
Thank you for calling.
Speaker 8 (20:59):
Yes, because I was calling because I don't I can't
remember what station. It was wrong, but it was a
White analyst, and like he said, all the films that
was coming out of that computer were going to affect
not only South Memphis, but the whole Entiremensis, which will
(21:22):
be he said, because in cancer, long disease, and every
kind of other disease, just like it was over there
South Memphis.
Speaker 12 (21:31):
Remember that when that Jason.
Speaker 2 (21:33):
Do, Yeah, you're talking about those those do you talking
about those plants that were over there they were talking
about That's correct.
Speaker 8 (21:41):
And you remember how all those people over there, mostly
older people, had cancer and long problem coop all that
kind of stuff. Same thing will be here. So it's
just not going to affect just one area. And he
said the whole entire Mensis. And they also said that
the this place. They tried to put it in California.
(22:03):
California rejected it, just like them smart Meier. They tried
to put them in California and they was rejected.
Speaker 13 (22:11):
But they can come here to.
Speaker 8 (22:13):
Memphis, and everybody that won't to make some money, they
can come here because they know mythics is real gullible.
They hoed up on money and then a killing party
is they not gonna be caning taxes. That's why they
come here.
Speaker 6 (22:29):
And so they can get a break.
Speaker 8 (22:31):
But anyway, it's pretty bad to me. But I think
they need to look into it. And you know, Elie
must don't like black people no way, So that's the
way of taking out a bunch of them in meshis
and Mary Young cared anything about the people here in
many messis instead of thinking about all of this money.
Speaker 2 (22:52):
That's the problem.
Speaker 8 (22:53):
Is money more inportant than people live.
Speaker 13 (22:56):
You think about people.
Speaker 8 (22:57):
Lives first, talk about the money you can make it
what you're gonna give. Then when you get the money,
you're not gonna do what you say you're gonna do.
Speaker 4 (23:05):
With the money.
Speaker 8 (23:06):
It's just like the caller before is going in their
pocket and anybody everybody's here that comes to missing they
make a food out of messing. That started with Sydney Slicker,
Sneaker whatever his name was. Remember how he comes here
be like he's gonna build this stuff and he left
out with all this money. I'm certain people remember seeing
(23:27):
it's because Sneak or whatever his name. But anyway, I
think people need to wake up and they needed.
Speaker 2 (23:33):
To protest about that.
Speaker 6 (23:35):
R whatever that comes to a mess call x Ai.
Yeah that that points hm, All.
Speaker 2 (23:44):
Right, Well, listen. Thank you so much for calling in.
I appreciate you.
Speaker 4 (23:49):
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (23:50):
You're welcome. Ms BJ.
Speaker 12 (23:52):
All right now, all right, okay, you too, my.
Speaker 2 (23:55):
Bid the first time calling up in here on It's good.
Look at mine day a right, listen, I'm gonna take
a break. I'm gonna come back and read your emails
and take your calls. Nurse Beverly, David, Barbara, Lady d
Prince Charles. I'm coming back and we're gonna talk some

what I want to know. You know what I'm saying,
(24:58):
let me get back to these phone and I'm still
you know, just just you know, where's the ball dropped
When it comes to these kids and their entitlement or
feelings of entitlement, I don't wit who dropped the ball?
Is it their parents? Is it them? Especially with this
young man. You know, we don't know all the backstory.
(25:21):
And a lot of people that were commenting to try
to help him lay they were like, man, we need
to know some backstory. I mean, what's going on? So
was he put out of his mama's house? Did mama
get tired? I mean, what happened? We don't know. But anyway,
I say, man, somebody you're living with, somebody rent free
and all they want you to do is do some chore.
Come man, come on, man, anyway, mister Burton says stormy.
(25:45):
He says, coddled teen stormy. Whatever parent he was raised
by created that monster. The boyfriend will go crazy trying
to teach a teen who isn't yours responsibility. Just be
prepared to follow through with the consequences that you laid out.
And Miss Morel says, hey girl, she says, unforgetful and
(26:06):
musk let him forgetful know that three eight one zero
nine is Southwest Memphis. I don't trust Musk or anything
he does. He doesn't care about anyone that doesn't make
him money.
Speaker 14 (26:19):
Ms.
Speaker 2 (26:19):
Koch says, if I'm not mistaken, three eight one zero
nine is in southwest Memphis area. I have a friend
that lives in Westwood. Three eight one o nine Douglas
is in the north.
Speaker 4 (26:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (26:32):
Miss Anita also said, I thought three eight one zero
nine is white Haven and Westwood. Let me go back
to the phones.
Speaker 8 (26:38):
W D I A hello, hello, No, no, there's no
SunUp in the sky.
Speaker 2 (26:46):
Come on here. Yeah, gotta get yourself all the time.
Look at you, No, you had chops.
Speaker 17 (27:01):
See see see see.
Speaker 14 (27:05):
See you ready?
Speaker 17 (27:06):
You're ready to gonna do with me?
Speaker 7 (27:07):
Now?
Speaker 17 (27:07):
I know I can tie.
Speaker 2 (27:11):
Daved. Oh my goodness, look talk to me on this
Monday day. What's going on?
Speaker 14 (27:17):
I can't compete with mister C. J. Dold.
Speaker 2 (27:19):
Look, I know that's right, Madam.
Speaker 17 (27:24):
We good girl. Sometimes girl, I wonder, I wonder as.
Speaker 14 (27:28):
I wonder, but I'm at peace.
Speaker 17 (27:30):
What's up, Mike? I co signed that message on Stormy.
Speaker 11 (27:34):
Show me what it weeks ago? And when you said
what every man wants.
Speaker 2 (27:38):
Who is that? Who's on peace? Y'all want peace, don't you?
And some peace?
Speaker 17 (27:43):
And that's what Mike said. If you listen to Mike,
always enjoyed it. So the man no p E A
c E thank you?
Speaker 2 (27:53):
Oh d.
Speaker 9 (27:56):
E A c E to you?
Speaker 2 (27:58):
You think you slip?
Speaker 11 (28:01):
So the man cutting y'all a check. But you can't breathe. Yeah,
seems like a few years ago there was someone else
that said.
Speaker 17 (28:09):
Before he died, I can't breathe.
Speaker 11 (28:13):
You can live long without food and water along without
water ton shomp change.
Speaker 17 (28:18):
Listen to this now, brothers and sisters. Shomp change is
any deal you can't negotiate.
Speaker 11 (28:26):
I don't agree with what is going on with neverent Sap,
just like I don't agree with what is going on
with people burning Musk, building dealerships Teslas. I I admitted
on Bell Show that I don't like Musk at all.
Before he was butchering on the government. It's funny to
me that mister Tesla, the real mister Teslas, most of
(28:47):
y'all don't know who if there was a real mister Tesla,
never made any money and died almost penniless. I will say, though,
SAP is a heck of a name for a preacher.
Speaker 14 (28:58):
M heck of a name.
Speaker 17 (29:01):
Who is a sap or who is dust? I didn't
lock the dogs.
Speaker 11 (29:06):
I just closed him a distinction without what difference. Well,
well they opened before collection, before the time.
Speaker 17 (29:16):
Lastly, the Lodgers invests.
Speaker 11 (29:19):
The most people in this country are making Americas a
purchase of a house. If mister Munsk was a realtor,
based upon what you have seen of him for the
last two months, including a debacle of purchasing twelve five
government workers in this criminy, would you buy a house
from him? Would you let him play roofs over your
over your house rather than mister Washington does proud advertise
(29:41):
of w A Would you even buy a used car
from him?
Speaker 17 (29:45):
Stormy?
Speaker 2 (29:46):
What't you?
Speaker 12 (29:48):
Frankly?
Speaker 17 (29:49):
I would be afraid to accept money from him?
Speaker 14 (29:52):
All money is not good money.
Speaker 2 (29:55):
Now you have a good day, beautiful, all right, David.
He was prepared, he was ready and propetty had it
wrote down. That's what I'm talking about. Let me get
back to these bonds up in there.
Speaker 12 (30:08):
W d I A hello, number one, storm Chaser.
Speaker 2 (30:12):
Number one, May I'm doing good? How you feeling? Prince
Chaw's I'm on the top chef.
Speaker 15 (30:18):
Had a beautiful weekend?
Speaker 14 (30:20):
Did okay?
Speaker 13 (30:23):
Oh?
Speaker 15 (30:23):
I was on the top chef. Worked this weekend like
I always do. But no, I'm not complaining. I have
no problem. I wo'd rather be working not working. You
know what I'm You know what I'm saying, Stormy, I do.
There's nothing like making your own money, dictating what you
want to do with your money instead of getting in
some check and they telling you what you can and
cannot do. That's the beauty behind them.
Speaker 2 (30:43):
That's Wendy Williams right now. Bless her heart.
Speaker 15 (30:47):
Well, when you got issues, let's just be honest. I'm
not I don't have a ball that people with Wendy Williams.
I've really never watched her show, so I was never
a big fan of her anyway. So I hope the best.
I want to see that for anyone in that particular manner.
But I don't. I don't know what they said about
Winny when he's done a lot of times that mutation,
(31:09):
derogatory things that wasn't true. But tell them what talk
show didn't. Stormy has always good opportunity of your college
and listeners as well. A former president wants saying trust
but verify. That was Ronald Raven. Anytime a politician, whether
the politicians local, state or federals, they say something, you
(31:34):
can trust them, but you need to verify what they're savings.
Speaker 4 (31:38):
Uh.
Speaker 15 (31:38):
The lady that called in or can you see that,
Henry stormy mm hmm.
Speaker 2 (31:43):
The lady.
Speaker 4 (31:45):
Okay, I'm sorry.
Speaker 15 (31:47):
The lady that called in and talked about the different
states that turned out Elon Musk one state she left
out for two of them. If he wanted to put
that all zone that that a XI guess that's what
it's called x y x am. I'm sorry, please again,
I'm just likeing and he wanted to put it in
(32:09):
a ladder A Lana turn about flat foot. We don't
care how much.
Speaker 4 (32:13):
Much excuse me, how much money that you want to
give us to put this here the system here in
our in our city.
Speaker 14 (32:20):
We're not going to take it as just as the question.
Speaker 15 (32:23):
One of the largest black cities in the United States
is Atlantic and they turned it down. But Memphis, being
the largest black city in the state of Cities, they
accept it. I'm not saying that it may not be
good because I don't know that he is out concerning it.
But it does make me wonder why Memphis, out of
all the other cities in the cities that turns you down.
(32:45):
We didn't want it, and I will get it down
to extore me the pastor, And you don't believe that
he didn't get a cut of that forty thousand dollars.
You got to be you got to be spoken craft.
I'm not saying it.
Speaker 2 (32:58):
I don't believe it. Don't believe it, Stormy.
Speaker 15 (33:02):
I don't believe anything basically was passing when it comes
the money, because the main objective is money.
Speaker 2 (33:10):
No, I don't agree with you, Prince Charles. I don't
agree with you, and I don't I believe. I believe
Marvin Sapp when he said he didn't get any of
that money. I believe him.
Speaker 4 (33:20):
I don't, I truly don't.
Speaker 15 (33:22):
Just like a said bishop now Eddie Long when he
said he needed sixty nine million dollars and sixty something
sixty something million dollars, they buy abjects and you go
around and spread the Gospel of Jesus.
Speaker 2 (33:35):
You know, blog, pastor, that wasn't Eddie Long, But go ahead.
Speaker 15 (33:38):
Well what past was?
Speaker 14 (33:40):
Please correct me.
Speaker 15 (33:41):
I don't mind being correct.
Speaker 13 (33:42):
On the radio.
Speaker 2 (33:45):
Creplo dollar, clap pole dollar.
Speaker 15 (33:47):
Maybe okay, please forgive me.
Speaker 14 (33:50):
Eddie long, please forgive me rest in peace.
Speaker 15 (33:52):
But he said he needed that much money just to
go around and spread in the gospel when you can
live stream. So that's me in many cases that these pastors,
they say they have good intentions, but in reality, I
just don't trust him when it comes to money. And
the line can find the things for me. If this
young man is staying at his aunt's house, I agree
(34:14):
with the aunt's bore friends. First of all, why you
not staying at home with your mother or your father?
And he's telling you that you're going to have to
go home to your father if you don't do these things.
He got the short end of He got the long
end of his stick. He don't have to pay for anything.
And if all I have to do is be a
hazel around the house and clean up, that's one of
those whole TV shows you might want to And if
(34:38):
you think about it, he's getting the better of the
boat and he's getting bad. He can move over his
hands and getting everything you know, provided for him, and
he can't go not come clean enough. This guy bet
not going to the military because that is one of
the one of the biggest things that the military. Military
frowns upon if you're not clean or take his share
(34:59):
of his duty. And uh sorry, let me find a
big shout out to my brother Steve. Sitn't it and
a beautiful wife as usual for me. But the guy
got he just don't realized he got the best end
of it. That's all I had to do to clean
up the house. If you're going to work when you
come home, trust me, that house would be madulate when
(35:21):
you listen.
Speaker 2 (35:21):
Prince Charles, I got to run. But you're absolutely correct.
Speaker 7 (35:24):
Thank you.
Speaker 15 (35:25):
I think you have a beautiful blessed saate and the
healthy day.
Speaker 2 (35:28):
Take care all right, you too? You too? W D
I a hello?
Speaker 12 (35:33):
So I was starting with team Hey lady d.
Speaker 4 (35:38):
How you doing.
Speaker 2 (35:39):
I'm doing good? How are you?
Speaker 18 (35:42):
I'm doing all right? Oh you know the little guys there,
they're too the guys h next you enormous nep you.
Speaker 2 (35:53):
Yes, break yeah, he got killed out of town.
Speaker 9 (35:57):
M look see, you.
Speaker 18 (36:00):
Can't do wrong.
Speaker 15 (36:02):
And you know, condole to see his family.
Speaker 2 (36:05):
But then you go where the little guy farm and
he from tenses the one that killed us, say so
p the rapper from tenses, wasn't it? That's what I think? So, yeah,
ohn't you that's crazy.
Speaker 4 (36:21):
But at any rate, Stormy.
Speaker 12 (36:24):
You know, I call them squatters now, that little squatter
out of.
Speaker 4 (36:28):
The shame and hisself.
Speaker 18 (36:30):
He owe his auntie, you know, his auntie squatting. They
done gave them his own things. Now, how ungrateful is that?
But believe it or not, young people, not all young people.
Speaker 4 (36:48):
I love young people owe them something they think.
Speaker 9 (36:54):
You got to do with and they have no respect.
Speaker 4 (36:58):
Now her disrespectful is that.
Speaker 18 (37:00):
If I'm staying with somebody, if he ain't paying no rents,
you know, he ain't paying anything else. He eating free,
going into the house messing up. That's why they wrote
him a live hign it because over at the time,
I guarantee you he's playing the games and all that.
Speaker 4 (37:21):
Don't know what did I say? That's why don't.
Speaker 18 (37:25):
Let nobody squat in your house, because they like roaches.
They they give you every time you look up, they
give you the date that they're gonna move out, but
they'll never ever.
Speaker 9 (37:38):
Leave because that's comfort.
Speaker 18 (37:41):
None of that fool ain't got to do anything the
way they the way he's.
Speaker 12 (37:45):
Talking, well, hopefully.
Speaker 4 (37:48):
The boys friend listening?
Speaker 18 (37:51):
How many doors do y'all have on that house?
Speaker 15 (37:54):
All open?
Speaker 19 (37:55):
All of them?
Speaker 18 (37:56):
And all the stuff you can't get out the front,
put it out some other doors. Because number one, you
are doing him a favor.
Speaker 4 (38:06):
He's not doing you no favor.
Speaker 18 (38:08):
I wouldn't have had to write a.
Speaker 2 (38:09):
No lest I look when I get back, I.
Speaker 4 (38:13):
Want this, this, this and that done.
Speaker 18 (38:16):
It's it's simple stowing it so people wanna last, but
not least.
Speaker 2 (38:22):
People.
Speaker 4 (38:22):
Please stop going to market marketplace is good, but stop
going selling your stuff on marketplace and meeting up.
Speaker 18 (38:31):
With these low life and the low life take your stuff,
meet them at one of the precincts, no matter where
you stay.
Speaker 14 (38:40):
And three ain't one on nine storm it you go.
Speaker 15 (38:43):
Always with wood.
Speaker 4 (38:45):
It goes back to the riverside.
Speaker 13 (38:48):
Three ain't look.
Speaker 18 (38:49):
That's what yeah, riverside Westwood all back over almost the
lady God, death the road and all that.
Speaker 12 (38:58):
Three at one on nine three one on that lo.
Speaker 2 (39:03):
Way, got it, lady d Yeah, thank you have a
good one. All right you too? Bye bye? Uh w
d I A hello, man, I can't I can't call it, Clyde,
what's going on with you?
Speaker 13 (39:17):
You know what?
Speaker 14 (39:18):
All right?
Speaker 17 (39:18):
There with you.
Speaker 15 (39:20):
One thing I know about a preachers.
Speaker 4 (39:23):
They ain't gonna lie about no money that one day.
Speaker 14 (39:27):
That's one thing they love money.
Speaker 2 (39:29):
No, no, no, you ain't with me. I said, I
believe him.
Speaker 13 (39:33):
He said no.
Speaker 15 (39:35):
If he said he didn't take it, he didn't take it.
If a preacher took it, he gonna tell you he
got that money. But I mean, it ain't gonna be
no singing that one thing two.
Speaker 13 (39:44):
Days that no preacher like chicken.
Speaker 17 (39:48):
No three things chicken, women and money and ben storming.
Speaker 2 (39:54):
The parents have still.
Speaker 15 (39:56):
They children just park like you said that.
Speaker 2 (39:58):
I had the number.
Speaker 14 (40:00):
So let me tell your son.
Speaker 13 (40:02):
You can't start a kid as.
Speaker 4 (40:04):
A teenager to tell him he got to start cleaning up.
Speaker 13 (40:08):
Yeah, my son was cleaned up.
Speaker 15 (40:12):
When he learned how to walk.
Speaker 13 (40:13):
He was.
Speaker 2 (40:14):
I was picked it up.
Speaker 15 (40:15):
It was over there because my daddy made me clean
up when I was when I was young.
Speaker 13 (40:21):
So when I got in the morning, I know I
didn't have my room clean.
Speaker 16 (40:25):
God is taken out and everything.
Speaker 15 (40:26):
Else washing the disnit.
Speaker 12 (40:29):
So I treated I did.
Speaker 4 (40:31):
I brought my son the same way my daddy brought
me up.
Speaker 14 (40:33):
See now, I mean my.
Speaker 12 (40:36):
Son he know what to do.
Speaker 15 (40:37):
He take care of their own play.
Speaker 13 (40:39):
He got a spark brass over there, did y'all.
Speaker 15 (40:42):
Wasn't y'all, he wasn't doing that first, So now he
want to know why he gotta doing that right.
Speaker 2 (40:49):
And now y'all want to be hardcore.
Speaker 13 (40:52):
On it when you should have been hard core when
even young.
Speaker 2 (40:56):
Kill No Red Cline, thanks so much for calling them. Then, okay, listen,
I'm gonna read your emails, Nurse Beverly. Don't you go
anywhere you're gonna be First up, we come out of here,
and Barbara, I got you coming up to nine oh one,
five three five, nine three four two eight hundred and
five zero three nine three four two eight three three
(41:17):
five three five nine three four two. We got to
take a break. We'll be back in a moment, and
we are back. Hey, everybody, I am stormy with you
on ten seven d wd IA on this March thirty,
first last day of the month. By the way, you
know what, I interviewed Bobby White yesterday on the Pulse,
(41:38):
and like I said, I want you guys to check
out the show. I'm gonna post it so you can
go check it out at ten seven d wd I
A that is our Facebook page. But now that you know,
after I had a conversation with somebody who actually listened
to the show, they had some questions. Now I've got
more questions, you know what I'm saying. I got more questions.
(41:59):
I want to know what's going on more than you know.
Now that you know, I'm a little bit better informed.
I want to know what's the need. And I didn't
ask this, but what is the need for the gas turbines.
I don't think I asked that in the interview. But
I did ask about XAI and how much water they're using,
and I was told that they're not using a lot
(42:20):
of our aquifer. They said, actually TVA uses more of
the water from our aquifer than XAI does. That XAI
brought in their own water, and they built a system
inside of the building that they're in for their computer
to cool it down and all that kind of stuff
because it takes so much water to do that. And
(42:41):
then they're doing some other things that are supposed to
be of benefit to our community. But yeah, I got
more questions now than I have answers, and I think
a lot of other people have questions too, And I'm
hoping for the best you know, because I want it
to be good, because it's a lot of money for
mem this. I wanted to be good. So I guess
(43:04):
you know, all of that kind of remains to be seen, uh, y'all,
it really does. Did y'all watch that w W E
fight last night? Did y'all see that?
Speaker 14 (43:14):
Y'all see it?
Speaker 2 (43:16):
That big old fight that broke out between the Timberwolves
and the Pistons. Baby, they was throwing hands last night,
the coaches trying to break them up, and they still
coming together and fighting. You know, we don't see a
lot of good fights like we Excuse me, I'm sorry.
Speaker 14 (43:33):
That was.
Speaker 2 (43:37):
It was interesting, wonder and I saw it. It happened
from a from a bad I guess you know, a
play down the court. You know one of the guys
I don't. I don't know them guys. I don't know
them players.
Speaker 14 (43:49):
I don't know them.
Speaker 2 (43:50):
You know, I know Jaw Morant, I know him and
a few more players. But you know, I don't know
the Timberwolves or the business. But honey, day was they was?
Speaker 18 (43:59):
It was a wrong.
Speaker 2 (44:03):
All Ready to go back to the phones. W D
I A hello, my evening, Stormy tine y nurse believe
how you doing doing good?
Speaker 20 (44:17):
Get from the stove back over to this phone.
Speaker 9 (44:20):
I had your own speaker phone and.
Speaker 2 (44:21):
Ok, okay, you over there cooking.
Speaker 12 (44:27):
I'm cooking storm.
Speaker 2 (44:29):
Oh what you cooking today?
Speaker 21 (44:32):
I'm cooking spaghetti with brown turkeys. I'm cooking chidney beans
with bell pepples and onions. I'm cooking homemade cold slough,
and I'm cooking naturally.
Speaker 6 (44:49):
I got to have my husband, gotta have some corn bread.
Speaker 2 (44:52):
Ah, it sounds delicious.
Speaker 21 (44:58):
You know, the ambitation is open, yes, ma'am, Yes, ma'am,
the tasting is open.
Speaker 2 (45:04):
Okay, okay, let me know, yes, ma'am.
Speaker 19 (45:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 9 (45:08):
Look, I want to ask about this.
Speaker 22 (45:11):
What is this?
Speaker 9 (45:12):
Ai x a x ai.
Speaker 12 (45:16):
I'm not real, you know up all of this stuff.
Speaker 21 (45:19):
But my question is why was Memphis chose? And why
was three eight one old nine chose?
Speaker 2 (45:29):
I believe now, no, I did ask that question, and
I believe it was because electro Lux was gone. They
needed to be somewhere near to build it, somewhere near water. Uh,
and so elect the electric old Electrolux building was perfect.
And so that's why Memphis, and that's why that area.
Speaker 21 (45:54):
Okay, Now let me ask you this is that snip
code through eight one O nine. Is that the this
cold where a lot of the residents reportedly have been
affected because of chemicals and pollution and all of that stuff.
Speaker 2 (46:14):
That's close to that area and maybe some of those
folks in that area as well. M.
Speaker 4 (46:23):
I don't know, STOREM.
Speaker 6 (46:24):
I just don't trust.
Speaker 13 (46:26):
I just don't trust.
Speaker 9 (46:27):
I know you said you think it's gonna.
Speaker 19 (46:29):
Be a good thing.
Speaker 21 (46:30):
We thought that too, with the pyramid and some old
things that people brought or popped up here and nippings,
and then they ran.
Speaker 2 (46:39):
Off, you know, left us holding the bag.
Speaker 8 (46:42):
I mean, look at these school souperintendents that they recruit.
Speaker 21 (46:46):
I mean, it's I know, it's a little different, you know,
but these people they running here and they set up
house and they stay for a minute.
Speaker 12 (46:55):
And they do their thing, and then they pack.
Speaker 2 (46:58):
Up that bag and they're gone.
Speaker 23 (47:01):
Don't I don't, I don't know.
Speaker 12 (47:03):
I just don't have a good deal about it.
Speaker 21 (47:05):
And you know, I don't really have a big understanding.
But what a little bit I hear, and you know,
the residents not happy with it, and it just makes
me wonder. You know, why why you choose methis why
you choose three eight one oh nine.
Speaker 23 (47:20):
You know, like when they were bringing that Devil School here.
Speaker 15 (47:24):
They come to me with the Devil School.
Speaker 20 (47:27):
You know, it's just like everybody want pimp mythic.
Speaker 2 (47:30):
Yeah, and I don't like it. And I think that
I think that Devil School. I think they got up
out here and got the money when they left.
Speaker 21 (47:39):
Yeah, they came in, and that was probably their strategy
because they knew that it was gonna be protested, and
if it was protested.
Speaker 20 (47:47):
You know, they were gonna have to pay up.
Speaker 21 (47:49):
But whatever they call it discrimination, I don't know if
that's the term or whatever.
Speaker 9 (47:54):
So that was probably strategy.
Speaker 21 (47:55):
Like I said, people love to pimp Memphis.
Speaker 9 (47:59):
We need smart.
Speaker 12 (48:00):
We need to get smart coming for.
Speaker 2 (48:04):
Today, okay, said hello, Okay, your plate will be set.
Speaker 21 (48:12):
Just call me that. No, yes, ma'am, thank you?
Speaker 2 (48:16):
All right, all right, bye bye? W d I A
let me get this music together? Uh w d I A.
Speaker 17 (48:23):
Hello.
Speaker 12 (48:24):
Hey Storny girl.
Speaker 2 (48:26):
Kay, this is Barbara. How you doing.
Speaker 12 (48:29):
I am blessed by the best.
Speaker 2 (48:31):
Hey, that's what I'm talking about, Starny. Uh huh.
Speaker 12 (48:36):
If they if they want to build something by water, right,
uh huh. Well, a lot of water. Well, how come
he can go to Florida down there with partners.
Speaker 16 (48:45):
On a lot of land.
Speaker 12 (48:46):
How can you go down floor all that water? M
You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 23 (48:50):
One thing?
Speaker 24 (48:53):
Now, do you want to hear the story about my
mother's story or my son story that I put both
of them out because they want to do right in
my hotel?
Speaker 2 (49:02):
Wait a minute, you put your mom, you put your
mama out?
Speaker 16 (49:07):
I did.
Speaker 12 (49:07):
I had to, Okay, Okay, well we'll go with mama
since she went to Mama.
Speaker 6 (49:11):
Yeah, mama, Mama moved it with me and my stopping kids.
Speaker 12 (49:17):
Stayed with me for three months.
Speaker 2 (49:19):
Wait a minute, Okay, Now how long ago was this
when this happened, Miss Barbara?
Speaker 12 (49:23):
This this could have been about twenty five years ago?
Speaker 13 (49:27):
Okay, okay, And uh.
Speaker 21 (49:30):
I wasn't shot.
Speaker 12 (49:31):
Tried to Mama, no, Rick, because she's my mom.
Speaker 9 (49:34):
Right, but I have a baby sister, the baby baby.
Speaker 6 (49:37):
You know, she she hot Maine.
Speaker 24 (49:39):

Speaker 12 (49:43):
They think that's more than you.
Speaker 9 (49:44):
Yes, you know about that.
Speaker 24 (49:46):

Speaker 9 (50:01):
I was scruggled, but.
Speaker 12 (50:01):

my mama bowed some money to.
Speaker 24 (50:06):
Say that my babysit time, I went went to her

Speaker 12 (50:12):
Home to see you gotta be out of the house.
Speaker 9 (50:14):
And she knew I meant to business suit.
Speaker 20 (50:17):
When she called her sisters and brother, they called you,
but your mama.
Speaker 24 (50:20):
I sure it did, and I told me this situation.
So later on my auntie to start. They called me
back and they told me my mama said, I hate
I mistreat bothering them chills because she was she's I
was treating like Queen Robinson her house. Now y'all start
filling these children. You're not You're not gonna come in
(50:41):
my house five years old. I'm gonna give you something
to do because I fix you brother this morning, I
fix you lunch, and I fix you them. So my
sister always get on me about, well you know how
my baby said, well you know how she is.
Speaker 6 (50:56):
I said, well, what hot issue?
Speaker 24 (50:58):
I said, now, trying to be not I said, why
she's so different than me? And she had to going
on and I asked my sister. Then we come out
the saying home.
Speaker 6 (51:08):
Yes we did.
Speaker 13 (51:09):
Lord, I'm I'm not gonna.
Speaker 12 (51:11):
Let go bout it. Ain't nobody gonna mistreat me now.
Speaker 24 (51:14):
In the situation with my son, I was trying my
son two hundred dollars a month, and really I was
trying him two hundred dollars a month so he could
say one so he.
Speaker 12 (51:22):
Can move along.
Speaker 19 (51:24):
So here come tell him, Mama, you wanna.
Speaker 23 (51:26):
Be going to my house and going not wrong to
and so so what I did.
Speaker 12 (51:29):
I took the hends off of his door.
Speaker 24 (51:32):
I throw it bad out because he want to clean
up keep me wrong?
Speaker 12 (51:35):
He was, he was about thirty something.
Speaker 24 (51:39):
I throw all his clothes out.
Speaker 12 (51:41):
I throw it bad out and I told him, if
you want to go get it.
Speaker 2 (51:44):
He left.
Speaker 12 (51:45):
He been gone every single time to knew you.
Speaker 9 (51:46):
Thank you, jeseus. Gotta have a best day.
Speaker 14 (51:51):
The children.
Speaker 2 (51:51):
Yeah, yeah, mm hmm, thank you. Miss she's gone. Yeah,
y'all stop spoiling these kids, Clyde said Stormy Ice, nurse Beverly,
Can I come get a plate because uh oh, he says,
please tell her to check with coach A. Yeah, okay,
let me let me get this together. Let's see here,
let me get this together.
Speaker 25 (52:14):
This is a mass.
Speaker 2 (52:28):
Oh uh huh yeah.
Speaker 14 (52:31):
But ladies and gelemen, welcome to the Jackson work.
Speaker 2 (52:41):
What's up, Jackson? How you doing?
Speaker 14 (52:44):
It's my world and you're just living in it? What hey?
Speaker 16 (52:52):
You know?
Speaker 25 (52:52):
Let's what's that late name, Miss Barbara? She's gonna be
a lonely old person when she gets older, so that
people don't take her advice.
Speaker 2 (53:04):
I don't think she will. I think Miss Barber's gonna
be all right. She will believe she put up my mouse.
Allow that put out.
Speaker 14 (53:15):
But it's okay to spoil your children.
Speaker 2 (53:20):
To an extent, to an extent, there you go.
Speaker 25 (53:23):
You know, And if people always saying they get out
of eighteen nineteen, that's totally wrong.
Speaker 14 (53:29):
You don't put any child out until they're ready to
gilts mm hmm, until they're ready to go.
Speaker 22 (53:37):
M h.
Speaker 14 (53:39):
Yeah. You don't. You know, you don't do that now.
Speaker 25 (53:44):
If they're not following the rules, then you can give
them an ultimatum. But as long as they're following the rules,
they can stay forever.
Speaker 14 (53:52):
And that's what nick Rose. Nick Rose have gone and
strayed that far.
Speaker 2 (53:56):
Well, I don't know about that, Jackson. I mean, I
hear what you're saying, but I think it's some point.
Especially young men, they got to go find their way.
Speaker 25 (54:06):
It's a different time and age. It's not the nineteen
twenties where y'ob is just there, okay. And plus when
when all the children leave, most of the old people
get lonely and they're begging the children to come see them,
but they won't come see them because you are so
(54:27):
mean to them.
Speaker 14 (54:28):
You kicked them out.
Speaker 2 (54:29):
Now now now, now, now, now, now, Jackson, that ain't
always the case. Now, I mean, and our kids will
do that. They get their they get their own their lives,
and they get important and then right and.
Speaker 25 (54:44):
You're begging for them, and you're begging for the grandchildren
to come, but you've already thrown the kids out.
Speaker 14 (54:50):
Just let them go with They don't have wings like birds.
Speaker 25 (54:58):
But I could preach on that for hour or and
this is for Jackson, but I'm not gonna preach on
the Let me get on, you know, let me let
me get on the maysayers, and I can't believe Nurse.
Speaker 14 (55:12):
Beverley was the main chairs that. I'm shocked.
Speaker 25 (55:16):
You know, Memphis is on the moons with that, that
freak Nick is probably gonna be a success. The more
things come to Memphis. You know, crime is down in Memphis.
The Freaknink is coming, the the NBA is here. You know,
Memphis is on the moon. And I gotta say this
(55:39):
before I let you go tomorrow, Golden States come to Memphis, please, people, please, people,
don't field that stadium up with Golden State teral Fernalia.
If you want to see the Golden State Warriors, just
just put on a nice suitors up.
Speaker 14 (56:00):
Don't put golden It looks bad. It looks bad people.
Speaker 25 (56:06):
What hey, let me give you my top five people
who call w d i A that need to curb
or shortened their monologue.
Speaker 2 (56:18):
Oh lord, okay, Number one Jackson.
Speaker 15 (56:21):
No, who the rest of them know my monologue is short?
Speaker 22 (56:26):
Yeah?
Speaker 12 (56:26):
Yeah, yeah?
Speaker 16 (56:26):
Five is big.
Speaker 14 (56:28):
Number five is big cahoona.
Speaker 2 (56:29):
I know you did, I know?
Speaker 14 (56:34):
And your exit the place.
Speaker 22 (56:36):
To be.
Speaker 16 (56:40):
In w d i A.
Speaker 2 (56:43):
You get off of him, You get off of him.
Now go on with your little list.
Speaker 25 (56:50):
Okay, number four, it's unforgettable. Forget the shortest monologue. Number
three if little Daddy he needs to just short everything.
Number two is David. David is the king of La T.
He has some different knowledge.
Speaker 2 (57:12):
But you know he's And number one Jackson.
Speaker 25 (57:17):
The number one person that needs to short their monologue
and their exit speech is Lady T with a T.
Speaker 2 (57:25):
Get on out here, Jackson, Bye, hey, hey, hey, hey hey.
Speaker 14 (57:30):
Child bell love, get on out here.
Speaker 2 (57:38):
Oh my lord, Now let me go to somebody sensible.
Speaker 19 (57:44):
W D I A hello, Hi, no girl, because Jackson
talked ten minutes and got the nerve to bring up
somebody else. Okay, and Jackson, I'm showing Firs the mow
many heck, you need lady off there. Okay, my girl,
you see number one on the list. Let's stop playing
right now. Hey, lady, look, you cannot handle their lists
(58:07):
and be sensible and not have lady on there.
Speaker 21 (58:09):
You just can't do it.
Speaker 19 (58:10):
Oh, guys, so even even she know that, I even
see know that, or listen. I need to ask missus
Tennessee and marry young. I hope if he's not listening,
he has someone else listening for him, because I want
to know why does misphips have to accept things that
no one else will want. That's my thing. You know
the friend Nick was in Miami. There was in different places,
(58:31):
but it was because problems and crime.
Speaker 9 (58:33):
Hey, let's go to Missus.
Speaker 19 (58:34):
They'll take us. You know, everything comes to Memphis.
Speaker 22 (58:37):
You know.
Speaker 19 (58:38):
So the lady who called in, I was on hold
before a storm member. I have to go into a
house own and specials, so I have to hang up
and call backstand so much to get.
Speaker 10 (58:43):
Me back in.
Speaker 2 (58:44):
You're welcome, But I'm wondering she was the first.
Speaker 19 (58:46):
Time called she hit everything on the head. You know
regular I mean x Ai Elon Musk. You know, I
know y'all feel like Mshus residents don't have the best
packed in the world. Sometimes we can get carried away.
Speaker 14 (58:58):
I get that.
Speaker 19 (58:59):
But we have a town house meeting with Elion must
and give the citizens a chance to ask him question.
Speaker 15 (59:07):
I do want to know how this is gonna be regulated.
Speaker 19 (59:10):
What are the risks?
Speaker 11 (59:11):
Okay?
Speaker 19 (59:12):
Because my big issue is once x Ai come to mythics,
do you know how hard it's gonna be to get
rid of them? Even if y'all find out that this
company is causing problems called the radiation causing cancer.
Speaker 10 (59:24):
You can't even shut.
Speaker 19 (59:25):
Them down once they get established, once they get all
their business there. In no way you're gonna be able
to shut a company that size down, because, first of all,
Elon Musk got so much money, he's gonna challenge you
on it. He's gonna have so many lawyers to tie
this up for years and years and years to come,
so you're not gonna be able to get rid of them.
So I just want to know exactly what due diligence
did the politician of Memphis actually do. Besides what it's
(59:47):
gonna bring money in, it's gonna bring tax in. It's
not good enough anymore.
Speaker 9 (59:51):
It's not good enough.
Speaker 19 (59:52):
I mean, you say we're gonna invest money in three
eight one nine, Well, guess what that happens to be?
Speaker 15 (59:59):
Be a black namehood.
Speaker 19 (01:00:00):
That's the neighborhood I grew up in. Why all the time,
I just want to know one time where a company
comes to Nichpus like that and it's in Germantown, it's
in cardialgu give me one freaking time. It's always in
the black neighborhood and we are sick of it. Other then,
oh well, it's gonna stand right, lady t you said
something this morning about the tickets and Nippis and they're
gonna be using cell phones and stop people.
Speaker 2 (01:00:22):
Okay, I get it. So she was talking about yeah,
she was talking about the hands hands down or something,
the hands free thing. That's that's going on tomorrow again.
Speaker 19 (01:00:31):
Another tactic, okay, and I know, yeah, something has to
be done about it, but another tactic, you know. And
miphus rather than they're gonna be harassing folks driving, you
got the cell phones in. And it's another thing that
niggas is allowing. I mean, you know, I story, I
wouldn't have a problem with that, but this is a problem.
When I go down to tour one Poplar and I
see eighty five percent of everybody in traffic court black,
(01:00:52):
that's a problem because Nippus is not eighty five percent black.
Your ticket should be a ratio of black and white
compared to what the population is sixty white. It should
be forty percent in their line, not not not eight
percent and twenty percent. So something is wrong there.
Speaker 2 (01:01:08):
And y'all look this up.
Speaker 19 (01:01:10):
It's called taxation by citation. So that's all this is.
They're gonna this is the way, they're gonna get more
taxes on you, but they're gonna do it by citation.
What's citation giving y'all freaking good tickets? And yeah, it's
just all a ploy. But anyway, for me, that's my point.
Thank you so much for let me in.
Speaker 2 (01:01:27):
You're welcome, MARREDI thank you so much for calling. I
appreciate you.
Speaker 7 (01:01:30):
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (01:01:31):
Uh hum, that's yeah. Nurse Beverly says, Tell Clyde, coach
said that he can come get a plate if he
goes to church with us on Sunday. I know that's right,
Nurse Beverly. Now, Clyde, how you gonna go to church
with them? You come get a plate? You're going to church.
(01:01:53):
You're going to church, Clyde. Now this Anita says, you
can't spoil young men. You have to let them learn
to be independent, or they will be in your house
until they are old and gray. I think she might
have a point. M Mister Floyd Anderson had a birthday
(01:02:15):
the other day. Happy birthday, missus, Floyd. I hope your
birthday was amazing. All right, let me go back to
the phones. Here, see what you'all talking about.
Speaker 9 (01:02:22):
W D I A hello, Hello, hey, b I p
oh wait.
Speaker 19 (01:02:34):
They roll to yeh roll to talk about this and that.
Speaker 2 (01:02:37):
Yes you doing. I got a chance to meet VI
p All this Friday night. It was a pleasure meeting you.
Speaker 16 (01:02:45):
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (01:02:46):
Good time with you, thank you. I had a good
time with you.
Speaker 11 (01:02:49):
Thank you for going.
Speaker 23 (01:02:50):
Likewise, I had to go up the stay long bod.
I was old the clock, but I had to give
a little girl body good by good. What they said
about downtown, they ain't got nothing to do with black people.
Our black people out here doing the most. They while
they in court two or one, they stopped doing igno stuff.
They would have to be a two or one.
Speaker 19 (01:03:11):
So I don't I don't agree with that.
Speaker 4 (01:03:13):
They at her driving.
Speaker 23 (01:03:14):
Crazy, no life and doing whatever. So if they go
to court, don't do the crime.
Speaker 12 (01:03:18):
You can't do time what.
Speaker 4 (01:03:20):
I uh my uh throm I had a course.
Speaker 23 (01:03:22):
Why I do? Women they always they always gonna do something.
They always did something. You could say something like I
went to Concern and young lady she went before me.
Speaker 14 (01:03:35):
She lood.
Speaker 23 (01:03:36):
But after I wait, it was all right. I'm like, yeah,
you know, because I went, I can say, uh, I'm
going somewhere already been there. I did you always don't
do it, or when I do it, you did it.
Speaker 12 (01:03:47):
And I'm like, all right, what is that?
Speaker 19 (01:03:48):
Probably what is the problem.
Speaker 2 (01:03:51):
They call that nagging When people always got something to
say after you say something. They call that always negative.
Speaker 23 (01:04:04):
When she went to third he was so good, not
with it was all right.
Speaker 9 (01:04:07):
I'm like, whoa I did?
Speaker 8 (01:04:10):
I didn't.
Speaker 23 (01:04:10):
I'm Entinian people now my own hair time, I'm a
bood and write. But she threw she threw bookie, she history,
ohb know time. But Nick Tivy, that was too blisbee streets.
Speaker 12 (01:04:21):
I don't have no in my life.
Speaker 23 (01:04:23):
If the dude you come from me, not from you,
not from them, that's right. And on that note saw me.
It was a pleasure me and you the beaeful young
ladye what you're doing?
Speaker 2 (01:04:32):
And yes, ma'am, things all right, all right, okay, b
ah v I P. I mean, I'm telling you. I
had so much fun with her and my bff Carolyn.
They came out to see me Friday night. Let me see.
Albert Mosey says, it's ninety nine point nine nine nine
nine nine nine nine nine nine a percent of black
(01:04:54):
people and and Collierville in Germantown Traffic Court. Hm hmm.
A lot of people black folks. Let's see here a
stormy of the reason Elon Musk can come to Memphis
is because it's a Republican state. It just got a
lot of black Democrats that live here. X Ai, Miss
(01:05:15):
Shelby says, right, Meredith, that's what she says. Listen, We're
gonna take a break and we gonna come back and
talk to y'all. Let me see, I got big Hebrew August, Ryan,
Patrese and Kevin. Y'all hang on, come back and get
y'all in a moment.
Speaker 19 (01:05:29):
And we're back.
Speaker 2 (01:05:30):
Hey, everybody, haven't heard from Clyde. I don't know if
he's going to church with Nurse Beverlyre and Coach Gregg.
He ain't responded yet, so I don't know. But I
can't tell y'all. It is Monday and welcome in last
day of this month of March. I can't tell you
that the police they got him, and I'll tell you
(01:05:52):
that young man's mugshot. I'm not sure why his eyes
were booked like they were, but yeah, they went viral
and then they went viral again. Anyway, Uh, the couple
here in Memphis that ran over the Repo man. Y'all
side of the story. They got him, uh huh huh
charged with AsSalt. I believe that was the charge. Yeah,
aggravated assault. Yeah, they got him. Mm hmm. See, y'all
(01:06:17):
didn't think that was gonna be an injustice for the
Repo man after he got his head run over. You know,
he's okay. We're glad to you know that he here,
that he is. They got them, so so Joe, let
me let me okay, do you you mean tell me? Okay?
You you get in your car, repod Uh, you run
(01:06:38):
out till you get in the car. She talking to
the Repo man. She see him getting call him out
to get in the car and run off. Repoe man
gets head run over. He yelling you don't help him,
but you do help the getaway guy with your car
(01:07:01):
get away while the report man is down there just
on the ground, just wailing. Had to go to the hospital.
I saw that bruise on his face, just nasty bruise.
Bless it's a miracle that he's alive, it really is.
But yeah, they got them, both of them. Brandy Revels.
(01:07:23):
Let's see arrested Nicholas Ray and Brandy Revels on suspicion
of aggravated assault. M hm m h m hm.
Speaker 16 (01:07:34):
M.
Speaker 2 (01:07:34):
He posted pictures of both sides. He got scars on
both sides of his head. Oh, they got him. They
got their man and their woman. M all right, let
me go to the phone. See what y'all talking about.
Speaker 11 (01:07:50):
W d I A.
Speaker 9 (01:07:51):
Hello, Hello, miss Stormy.
Speaker 2 (01:07:54):
Hey, young August. How you doing.
Speaker 19 (01:07:56):
I'm doing good.
Speaker 2 (01:07:57):
This is Monday, all right now, welcome on in.
Speaker 9 (01:08:02):
Thank you so much. Let me just tell you your.
Speaker 6 (01:08:05):
College are so entertaining.
Speaker 9 (01:08:07):
They are just terribly entertaining.
Speaker 6 (01:08:09):
I was listening to Miss Barbera and got choked because
I was drinking some more that she.
Speaker 9 (01:08:13):
Took me so bad.
Speaker 2 (01:08:15):
Oh my goodness, you got choked.
Speaker 1 (01:08:19):
She was.
Speaker 2 (01:08:19):
She's a storyteller, isn't she.
Speaker 11 (01:08:21):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (01:08:21):
I didn't expect her to say she put her mama
out that kind of That threw me off a little bit.
But when she explained the story, I said, okay, so
it was still kind of like, Wow, my.
Speaker 9 (01:08:30):
Mama can get it too.
Speaker 2 (01:08:31):
I guess mama did get it. She did, and mama.
Speaker 9 (01:08:37):
Realized she was kind of wrong.
Speaker 2 (01:08:38):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's got to be a tough
one too, you know what I'm saying. I had to
be a tough one for her, you know, to deal with.
Speaker 9 (01:08:45):
Yeah, yeah, Marvin self.
Speaker 6 (01:08:50):
So now I did not hear that he had apologized
for his tone.
Speaker 9 (01:08:56):
That was the only problem that I had with the video.
Speaker 6 (01:08:58):
The only problem the once I saw, ma'am his tone. Yeah,
that was the only problem that I had because I
saw that this was not just a regular Sunday morning
mercy service, and that would have made it different for me.
Speaker 9 (01:09:11):
But this seems to have been a convention, our conference.
Speaker 2 (01:09:13):
Yeah, and it was about a year ago. And he
did say, he said, I can apologize for the assertiveness
and all that he did. And I think he said
his tone. He mentioned his tone too as well.
Speaker 4 (01:09:24):
Ye.
Speaker 9 (01:09:25):
And that's the only problem that.
Speaker 6 (01:09:26):
I had because when I realized it was just not
a regular service. This is what happens that encompasses and
conventions when you're a part of a denomination.
Speaker 19 (01:09:34):
These things happened.
Speaker 6 (01:09:35):
I grew up in the Ame Church and they had conferences.
The people who went to the events they knew in advance.
You got to pay a certain amount of money. And
the past is even.
Speaker 9 (01:09:43):
Though a certain amount of money.
Speaker 6 (01:09:46):
Is expected in every offering, every service. Yeah, if you
don't want to do it, don't be a.
Speaker 19 (01:09:51):
Part of it.
Speaker 6 (01:09:51):
So I wasn't, you know, concerned about that.
Speaker 2 (01:09:53):
But it was his tone.
Speaker 9 (01:09:55):
But I thought of that.
Speaker 6 (01:09:56):
This is what happens in the KOJK, in the Ame church,
I sussinated church.
Speaker 2 (01:10:00):
This is what's Yeah, all of them, a lot of them.
Speaker 9 (01:10:04):
It's I hate to say, it's a club. So it dudes,
sees are expected. You got a budget, you got to
pay these folks.
Speaker 2 (01:10:13):
So and that's almost in any church. It's not just
you know, coach, and that's almost in any church. I mean,
if you go to church, you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 6 (01:10:22):
Somebody have got to pay the fees for the ventaiture hosting.
Speaker 9 (01:10:25):
If you don't want to pay, don't pay.
Speaker 2 (01:10:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (01:10:27):
But for me, you know, when people do play money games,
I think that's a big part of the problem because
some folks are crooks. But when you know why you're
giving it, what you're giving to, I mean, that's up
to the individual. And that's how I am.
Speaker 9 (01:10:40):
If I want to give, I give us.
Speaker 16 (01:10:41):
I don't.
Speaker 6 (01:10:42):
I don't like its own it's on me. Yeah, And
that's why as the young guy. I think this is
probably someone who's in school, because for the who the aunt's.
Speaker 9 (01:10:54):
Boyfriends, you have to write a note. First of all,
that's a problem for me. If you can't talk to
the young man, you gotta write a no.
Speaker 6 (01:11:00):
That means y'all are dropping the ball. And I think
Clyde said it earlier. Oftentimes it's the parents. When you're
not teaching, At what point do you along the way
he's living in your home.
Speaker 9 (01:11:12):
You're the guardian for it. You didn't burg them, but
you're the guardian for you.
Speaker 6 (01:11:16):
To have to write a note says that you haven't
been doing playing your role right and so now here
you are because you probably ain'try an upset, but if
you have not been doing your job along the way,
you kind of created the problem.
Speaker 16 (01:11:29):
For me.
Speaker 6 (01:11:29):
When I was younger, just cut myself for.
Speaker 14 (01:11:31):
A little bit.
Speaker 9 (01:11:32):
My parents provided basic necessities as far as teaching and training,
none of that.
Speaker 6 (01:11:39):
I figured it out on my own. So a lot
of times that's whether the ball is dropped. It's more
than providing shelter, food and clothing.
Speaker 9 (01:11:47):
You got to teach, and when you don't do that.
Speaker 6 (01:11:50):
We figured it out on our own and then we
become entitled because you taught us to be entitled by
not teaching us.
Speaker 2 (01:11:56):
Wow.
Speaker 6 (01:11:57):
So I think a lot of times it starts with
the parents. Are the guardians whoever it is that just
keep it out.
Speaker 2 (01:12:06):
Yeah, you step on your stepping on our toes, get
off our toes, young August.
Speaker 9 (01:12:11):
It happens. But when you learn better, apologize and just
try to restore the relationship as became.
Speaker 6 (01:12:18):
But a lot of times it starts with the parents,
and we learned by watching.
Speaker 2 (01:12:22):
Yeah, y'all. Mm hmmmm, all right, thank you, young August.
All right, that's a tough pill to swallow, ain't it mercy?
But that is you, right you. My mama used to say,
don't do what I say, not what I do. Mm hmm.
(01:12:48):
I tell you to do what I did. I told
you to do what I said. Mm hmm. What she said.
Now I might not have done with you she did
when I was younger, but I ain't gonna lie. You
repeat them things when you're a little older, because you
product of your environment. W D I a hello, Hello?
Speaker 13 (01:13:14):
He forming Hey, how you doing.
Speaker 2 (01:13:16):
I'm doing good? How are you good? Good?
Speaker 20 (01:13:20):
And I believe you said the letter was from the
young man.
Speaker 2 (01:13:26):
The letter was from his uh, his aunt's boyfriend who
he lives with.
Speaker 6 (01:13:31):
Oh okay, I thought it was from the young man,
but I hope the young man is listening.
Speaker 18 (01:13:36):
Yes, everything on that letter.
Speaker 20 (01:13:38):
Young man that they are telling you to do, please
do it.
Speaker 6 (01:13:43):
Yeah, I mean they're just trying.
Speaker 9 (01:13:44):
To help you be a productive citizen.
Speaker 20 (01:13:47):
M you got a you got a cool world to
faith if you turn that news on and you watch
that news with all the shootings and menshis and everything
that's going on, they're.
Speaker 6 (01:13:58):
Just trying to help you to be a more dufti citizens.
Speaker 2 (01:14:01):
Yeah.
Speaker 14 (01:14:02):
Yeah, so Obey, you're a guardian.
Speaker 19 (01:14:07):
It is there didn't protect you.
Speaker 13 (01:14:08):
Yeah, that's all over the head stormy.
Speaker 2 (01:14:11):
Okay, Well, thank you so much for calling in. I
appreciate you.
Speaker 6 (01:14:15):
Okay, have a good one you too, you're too bye bye.
Speaker 4 (01:14:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:14:19):
I think that young people if you and he did ask,
you know, for people to give him advice, and so
that's what y'all are doing. But yeah, some of them
feel quite entitled, and sometimes young August is right. Uh,
sometimes we escape those and it's because you know, we
(01:14:40):
were trying to some of us. I mean, I don't
even I don't know why he lives with his aunt.
He didn't mention anything about his parents except for he
would go live with his dad. They were going to
put him out to live with his dad, and so
it just raises a whole lot of questions. Yeah, and
I think that I think he's in Memphis because this
(01:15:02):
young man. I follow this page on Reddit and that's
where he put the question. When I saw it, I
was like, oh, bless his hard, bless his hard. W
D I A, Hello, how you doing? I'm good? How
you doing?
Speaker 14 (01:15:23):
I'm doing all right?
Speaker 16 (01:15:25):

Speaker 2 (01:15:25):
Okay? You funny?
Speaker 4 (01:15:29):
What I do?
Speaker 1 (01:15:29):
What I do?
Speaker 14 (01:15:32):
Nothing? Nothing?
Speaker 2 (01:15:32):
This is this is Ryan Ryan River, Ryan our A
R H I N truck driving. You're not the truck driving?
Speaker 13 (01:15:42):

Speaker 13 (01:16:01):

Speaker 10 (01:16:05):
Anyway, Yeah, anyway, my two favorite ladies call any Day's Nurse,
Beverly and Marritage. Okay, Maritig need to run for city council.
In Memphis, and then after that she needs to go
for mayor because everything she's saying is true. These people
(01:16:31):
don't give her rats rear about us, I say us,
because black people's all the same area where you go,
you know, so when we wake up, especially the people
in the city councils that voting to let these people
come in, you know, getting all these tax breaks because

government money to get rich. M all right, And so
she is absolutely correct. So I mean, the last time
I said that they are my radio wife, I need
to correct that because I may make coach Greg right,
(01:17:17):
and yeah, I just say they're my favorite radio personality.
Speaker 2 (01:17:23):
So I don't want to use the word wife.
Speaker 4 (01:17:26):
You know.
Speaker 10 (01:17:27):
Yeah, I don't understand, you know, get on the bad
side of nobody. But however, how Marredith, how Meredith talk man,
she could do business great. I mean, she's so passionate
about how she speaks, you know what I mean. So
I think she would be great as a public official.
