I saw this and I was like ooh, and I
wanted to share it with you guys. Okay, they told
their mother she's not allowed to babysit the daughter anymore.
And now there's something about this story that I'm not
going to tell you about. Maybe you can figure it

a husband who posted for help on a social media site.
He says, my wife and I. She's thirty two, he's
thirty four. We have a six year old daughter named Lily,
which has Lily has long, curly hair, and that you know,

she absolutely adores taking care of it a bonding activity
for her and my wife. They do their masks, they
try out different braids, and Lily loves showing off her
princess curls. Last weekend, mmmm, the plot thickens. My mom,
who will refer to as Karen from now on, offered

to babysit Lily so my wife and I could have
a date night. When we got back, I was shocked
to see that Lily's beautiful hair had been cut into
a short, chin length bob. My mom proudly said she

fixed it, claiming it was too unruly and that Lily
will look more mature this way. When I asked her,
why would a six year old need to look more mature,
she said, he said, all I got was a blank stare.
Lily was devastated. Yeah, the baby was devastated. Yeah, you

would be too. You know, you got bonding time with
your mom, and your mom is doing your hand the baby's.
Lily was devastated. She kept saying she didn't want to
look like a boy, and the baby cried for hours, y'all.
He said. His wife was furious and asked Karen why
she thought this was okay, and Karen defended herself, saying,

it's just hair. It will grow back. That what she
said said. I told her that she had no right
to make that decision, and I no longer trusted her
to watch Lily unsupervised. Karen was livid, accusing me of
overreacting and punishing her over the haircut. She insists that

she was just trying to help and says I'm being
disrespectful by taking her grandparent rights away way now, he
says his sister thinks that he's being harsh, saying that
Karen was probably overwhelmed and trying to manage Lily's hair,
but he feels like boundaries were crossed. Lily is still
heartbroken and I don't know how to fix the damage,
