Speaker 1 (00:03):
Stormy conversations, stormy conversations, and say, after pone, after these
stormy conversations, God.
Speaker 2 (00:17):
Speak your mind, make your mind, got something the same.
Speaker 3 (00:20):
Now it's the time. It's the time.
Speaker 4 (00:22):
You can talk about.
Speaker 2 (00:23):
Any situation, Saito and the beast. Stormy conversations, stormy conversation,
stormy conversations. We can talk about any situation, the good
and the best, stormy conversations.
Speaker 3 (00:44):
What is really going on? Hey, everybody, I am stormy
with you. I'm just gonna looking Wednesday or is it? Well,
it is good looking because we are here, we are alive. Yeah,
But babe, we're expecting some serious storms around here. I
(01:05):
see it. The schools are closing early. Yeah, they're saying
there could likely be some flooding today and it could
get ugly. I know over where we are in the
area off of I two forty in purpose we had
quite a bit of rain a moment ago, and it's
probably still coming down right now. But if you're out
(01:27):
there and you're driving, please be careful. That wind is
high today too.
Speaker 5 (01:33):
Now.
Speaker 3 (01:33):
I know some of y'all like to speed. Some of
y'all just like to zoom zoom. I like a Reason's song.
Who's zoom and who y'all stop that this weather it's
not going to cooperate with us today. We'll had zoom zooming.
Slow down, okay because it's it's windy out there. Yeah,
(01:54):
and when it gets like this, you know, they tell
you don't get on the water, don't get out there
with no boat, don't do that. But yeah, so just
be careful. Like I said, kids are getting out of
school and there's the possibility of some severe weather on
today and yeah, so I'm thinking about you and I
am here with you on today and I want to
(02:14):
say thank you for being here with me. Yeah, so
let's get into it on this Wednesday, coming in and
sliding in a little bit, you know, through that rain man,
I just yeah, I had to step out a minute,
come back, you know. But I saw where the hearing
(02:37):
is set for the woman charged in the death of
pastor Ricky Floyd. Yeah, it's not until June though, That's
when the hearing is going to be. And we do
have power outages out there as well, they said Central
High School and that area is without power right now.
So MLG and WUS they're doing what they can. Shelters
are beginning to open across the mid South due to
(02:58):
the incoming severe storm. Uh so just won't let you
know that as well. Are you safe where you are?
Check in with me, let me know, let me know you. Okay, Uh,
check in well before I get to that, did y'all
see KFC they've launched fried chicken flavored toothpaste. And it's
(03:28):
not an April fool's joke. It's not. No, it's not
what it is. We don't want it. How you gonna
know if your teeth are really cleaned, if the toothpaste
tastes like fried chicken, you know what I'm saying? How
you gonna know? And do people really love fried chicken
(03:50):
that much that they want it in their toothpaste? I mean,
come on, now, come on. But it's probably gonna sell.
Speaker 6 (03:56):
Mm.
Speaker 3 (03:57):
They announced the release of that, and your teeth just
got more flavorful. The limited edition toothface is like thirteen dollars.
Uh uh uh, I'm too high. The toothbrush is fifty
nine dollars. Mmmm. They can keep that. Well. Somebody's prayers
might be getting answered. President Trump. He's indicated to top
(04:22):
advisors that Elon Musk could be taking a step back
from his current role in the administration. Sources familiar with
the matter told ABC News, So it looks like Elon
could be stepping back and stepping out the way. I mean,
we won't be seeing Junior in the White House talking
(04:46):
the way he was talking to that man that time
he was in there. Maybe, I mean, I don't know,
but that's what they're saying right now. That is the latest.
What y'all think about it. Elon's stepping back, And maybe
he's stepping back because he got work to do in Memphis.
You gotta come down here and get this stuff together.
(05:06):
You gotta come down here and tell us about these turbines,
these gas turbines and that supercomputer you got going on.
Maybe he plans to spend some time here with us.
Maybe that's what it is. Maybe he told, you know,
President Trump, hey, I need to spend some time in Memphis,
because they talking about me. I hear my name ringing,
(05:27):
cause we sure we your name's on our lips. You
can't you can't do us like Will Smith did Chris Rock.
You can't say keep my wife's name of Tramot or
keep yours. You can't do it because you are all
the talk here in Memphis. We want to know what's
(05:49):
happening with that x Ai. And word is we're gonna
get looks like there's gonna be a meeting the Commission
last night. I saw where they voted to for us
to have like a public meeting about x And I
do wonder if he's coming and if he does, if
the man does come to town, do y'all want to
(06:10):
talk to him? Would you would you go to have
a conversation with Elon if he, you know, did come
to town, would you want to say something to him?
I do want to let you guys know, for those
of you that were planning to go get your packets
for Sisters struck, we've shut down because of the weather.
So today it's not gonna be a good day to
(06:32):
get your T shirt in your packet for Sisters strut.
Just f y I we have shut down for today.
So if you're listening and you're wondering, that's what's happening.
And I just wanted to let you know just in
case you decided to, you know, go out to Simmons
Bank Liberty Stadium, or if you're on your way out
there now turn around and go back home because we're
gonna shut down for today because of the weather. Yeah,
it's not looking so good in some areas. Two of
(06:55):
my things, and as Jackson would say, and the lesson
is yours, not one, five, three, five, nine, three four
two eight hundred five zero three nine three four two
eight three three, five, three, five nine three four to
two those of numbers to get at me or Stormy
Tea at my wdia dot Comnah, y'all watch that game
last night the Grizzlies. Well, he might be in trouble again.
(07:26):
Not in ced. I didn't see it last night, and
I was talking to a friend they were watching the game,
and they didn't mention to me that this happened last night.
But uh wojah, somebody posted it's painfully obvious Adam Silver
is doing everything he can to get Jama Ran out
of Memphis and into a bigger markets. That's what they're saying.
(07:46):
Because breaking news, you guys. The NBA is looking into
a gesture made by Jama Rant last night during the game.
He made another pump pim gesture with his hands. Yeah,
(08:09):
Lord have mercy, And so they're saying that it may
be deemed dangerous. So yeah, there's there's video and all
that out there. Oh he yeah, he pointed over there
(08:31):
and he ah yeah. Luckily right now, the media seems
to be on John Moran's side in the controversial situation.
So what do you guys think about it? Or or
are you thinking anything about it? I'm just I don't
want Yoall to be in any more trouble. I don't
want him to leave. I mean, is it somebody that
(08:51):
wants him out of Memphis and wants him on a
bigger team? I mean, come on, now, what's wrong with
him being with him playing for the for the Grizzlies.
I mean, what's up with that? And I have heard
a lot of these you know, media platforms talking about
Jaws auditioning now and stuff like that. M Anyway, we'll see.
(09:11):
All right, here we come the question for today.
Speaker 7 (09:15):
Man.
Speaker 3 (09:15):
I saw this and I was like ooh, and I
wanted to share it with you guys. Okay, they told
their mother she's not allowed to babysit the daughter anymore.
And now there's something about this story that I'm not
going to tell you about. Maybe you can figure it
out as time goes on, but I want you to
(09:37):
I want you to hear the story Okay, this is
a husband who posted for help on a social media site.
He says, my wife and I. She's thirty two, he's
thirty four. We have a six year old daughter named Lily,
which has Lily has long, curly hair, and that you know,
(09:57):
she absolutely adores taking care of it a bonding activity
for her and my wife. They do their masks, they
try out different braids, and Lily loves showing off her
princess curls. Last weekend, mmmm, the plot thickens. My mom,
who will refer to as Karen from now on, offered
(10:21):
to babysit Lily so my wife and I could have
a date night. When we got back, I was shocked
to see that Lily's beautiful hair had been cut into
a short, chin length bob. My mom proudly said she
(10:42):
fixed it, claiming it was too unruly and that Lily
will look more mature this way. When I asked her,
why would a six year old need to look more mature,
she said, he said, all I got was a blank stare.
Lily was devastated. Yeah, the baby was devastated. Yeah, you
(11:09):
would be too. You know, you got bonding time with
your mom, and your mom is doing your hand the baby's.
Lily was devastated. She kept saying she didn't want to
look like a boy, and the baby cried for hours, y'all.
He said. His wife was furious and asked Karen why
she thought this was okay, and Karen defended herself, saying,
(11:32):
it's just hair. It will grow back. That what she
said said. I told her that she had no right
to make that decision, and I no longer trusted her
to watch Lily unsupervised. Karen was livid, accusing me of
overreacting and punishing her over the haircut. She insists that
(11:53):
she was just trying to help and says I'm being
disrespectful by taking her grandparent rights away way now, he
says his sister thinks that he's being harsh, saying that
Karen was probably overwhelmed and trying to manage Lily's hair,
but he feels like boundaries were crossed. Lily is still
heartbroken and I don't know how to fix the damage,
(12:17):
so she he wants some help. Is he wrong for
telling Karen she can't babysitting no more? What y'all think
about it, You got to tell me, you guys to
help this man out, and uh, I will tell you
what a lot of people have said to him. I'll
share some of that with you on the way. But
let me, let me, let me do something here. I
gotta got a little introduction. Got somebody waiting to come
(12:39):
in him and all ready this is a mass wd I,
this is a main world.
Speaker 6 (12:58):
And it would be nothing name without a woman in
her place.
Speaker 3 (13:06):
Think you just messed that all up?
Speaker 6 (13:09):
Due Now, seriously, do women really know the place?
Speaker 3 (13:13):
If you don't, you know what? You know what our places?
You know what our place is. Our place is telling
men the best way we know how what to do.
Speaker 6 (13:26):
In the in the home. I'm going to come up
with top five soon. But women's place is the nursuring,
the cooking, the cleaning, the handling the bills.
Speaker 3 (13:39):
And what's the man's place.
Speaker 6 (13:42):
Bringing in the money?
Speaker 3 (13:43):
Okay, now that's good, come on with it and cuttingly ya,
come on? What else? And the discipline and letting a
woman do whatever she wants?
Speaker 6 (13:58):
It doesn't work that way, I will it should. Yeah,
women are more patient, so we need more relaxation at
the house. Men need more relaxation.
Speaker 3 (14:09):
All right, all right, okay, right Jackson, Jackson happy Wednesday.
How is it where you are? I don't mean to
cut you off, but how's the weather where you are?
Speaker 6 (14:20):
Don't ever cut me off?
Speaker 3 (14:21):
I mean.
Speaker 6 (14:24):
No, it's it's who you cloudy?
Speaker 3 (14:27):
It's cloudy, it's cloudy. Yeah, Okay, we just got And
the reason I asked is we got. We just had
some pouring down rain over here. And that's what I was.
That's why I was, you know, That's why I asked,
where are you? We're one thousand oaks, American wag Uh?
Speaker 8 (14:46):
Is that hotel still open? That that big hotel next year?
Speaker 3 (14:49):
No? Nobody's there.
Speaker 6 (14:52):
Wow, that's that's sad. Yeah, maybe I'll buy the hotel tonight.
I'm gonna when the the lottery wonderful.
Speaker 3 (15:02):
Well, congratulations, good for you.
Speaker 6 (15:05):
I'll send you. I'll send you an envelope. Please don't
spend it.
Speaker 8 (15:10):
The whole five dollars anywhere.
Speaker 4 (15:13):
Anyway.
Speaker 8 (15:17):
How's it going stormy?
Speaker 3 (15:18):
It's going pretty good, Jackson.
Speaker 6 (15:20):
Okay, let me let me get I got two points
of the lessons yours okay, And let me ask you this.
Why do women speaking of women? Why do women use
so many words when they try to explain things or
they're they're talking like like men will say I'm.
Speaker 8 (15:38):
Cutting the grass. Women women will.
Speaker 6 (15:41):
Say I'm outside in my uh short pants cutting the grass.
If it comes to grass, we know you're outside. First
of all, I'm just saying women. Women use too many words.
Speaker 3 (15:59):
To you two Jackson, Oh, let me say this quickly.
Speaker 6 (16:12):
Okay. Why does Negroes go crazy over hair anyway?
Speaker 8 (16:14):
Because I know this person that you're talking about this,
I don't know the.
Speaker 6 (16:18):
Person but I know it has to be a Negro
that's talking about curly.
Speaker 8 (16:22):
Hair because we use this phrase good hair.
Speaker 3 (16:25):
I don't know where that that.
Speaker 6 (16:26):
Phrase came from, and and I don't know what that means.
Speaker 8 (16:30):
Good hair, all hair, if you have hair, it's good.
Speaker 3 (16:36):
Okay. But he didn't say good hair. He just he
said curly. She likes her curly hair.
Speaker 6 (16:43):
Why did he have to.
Speaker 8 (16:44):
Mention curly hair hair?
Speaker 3 (16:47):
Because I think he's trying to tell you something that
you you're missing, and I will, I'll tell you what
you're missing. But you know he's he's painting a picture.
And and there's a reason, the reason, there's a reason
he's describing being descriptive, like.
Speaker 6 (17:02):
He is what the what the daughter name? I mean,
the mother named Karen or the grandmother named Karen.
Speaker 3 (17:08):
He's calling his mother Karen. Yeah, the grandmother.
Speaker 6 (17:12):
Yeah, she should be Okay, the mother should be a
shame herself. What the hair is going to grow back?
Speaker 9 (17:23):
Now?
Speaker 3 (17:23):
You sound like that woman. Get on out here, Jackson.
You better say it quick.
Speaker 6 (17:30):
Elon Musk. We have a direct access to the president.
We should be grateful. Elon Musk is coming here, and
I'm so excited.
Speaker 3 (17:42):
Okay, all right, thank you, Jackson. Have a good one.
Speaker 6 (17:45):
Okay, wait wait wait wait wait wait I got one
with child child that love.
Speaker 3 (17:52):
Bye Jackson, bye, Oh my goodness. Okay. I did get
a message here from Gail. She says I would be
done with her the Karen she was out of order.
No more babysitting needed permission, not her child. Hmmm. I
got an email here from Ralph Bell. Ralph says positive
note Stormy, I've noticed lately that most of my emails
(18:15):
have been somewhat negative, so today I would like to
say something positive. I love hearing from Meredith. I was
happy this morning to hear from uh shorty. I hope
he's okay. I was really happy to hear black conservative
advocating reparations for black folks two thumbs up. Huh okay,
(18:41):
w d I A hello, how you doing. Hey, I'm good,
I'm good. I might need to change my name today
because this weather is stormy. I might need to change
my name today.
Speaker 4 (18:53):
It gonna be all right, baby, go we need your stuff.
Speaker 3 (18:55):
Oh okay, okay, you know you need.
Speaker 4 (18:59):
But check this out.
Speaker 10 (19:00):
I am so glad of this grandmama because what I'm
here and what I'm figuring it out, is this little
girl so so bad to management, you know what I'm saying,
Like she all this and that, and the grandmama probably
did that because of that reason.
Speaker 4 (19:15):
And I'm glad it is because she's teaching that child.
It ain't about your curls and stuff, you.
Speaker 3 (19:20):
Know, like you all this Wait a minute, seriously, you're
on the grandmother's side, You're on Karen's side.
Speaker 4 (19:27):
I'm on the grandmama's side. We need a teaching kid,
and all about what you.
Speaker 10 (19:33):
Look like and all this give some else inside of
you instead of your curl I'm telling.
Speaker 3 (19:38):
You she's six years old though undress did dad.
Speaker 4 (19:44):
I'm so glad tach kids.
Speaker 11 (19:46):
Man, it'll grow back and at term.
Speaker 4 (19:51):
You know, I'm thinking he's a mixed couple. You know
what I'm saying.
Speaker 3 (19:55):
You know what. You figured it out. You're absolutely correct.
Speaker 12 (20:00):
Now you see what I'm saying.
Speaker 4 (20:02):
Thank you, grandma.
Speaker 8 (20:03):
I'm out of here.
Speaker 13 (20:04):
Story.
Speaker 3 (20:05):
Wait a minute, what he left too? Uh? Yeah, I
don't get it because I don't like it. I think
it's so Yeah, so unforgetful figured it out. That is
the Yeah, that's the deal with it. It's a they're
an interracial couple. He's white, she's black, the mom is black,
(20:26):
the child is mixed, and of course the baby got
some curly hair. Okay, and yeah, so somebody posted your
mom should know better. You never cut a child's hair
or make a change to their appearance without parental approval.
(20:47):
Yeah approval. Yeah. Miss Morel says stormy Mama was way
out of line. She would not be watching my child
alone for the next year. He's not wrong. She violated
the l and the parents' rights. Tell Jackson he needs
to pipe down and stay in his place. Lol. Honest. See.
(21:07):
Miss Kelsey says, hope all is well with you. That
grandmother definitely did that out of a place of jealousy.
I mean, why would you not ask the parents permission?
And why would you want to hurt your grandbaby as
she was crying because her hair was cut short, shaking
my head. I would never allow her to keep my
(21:29):
baby again. What if she gets the notion to do
something else outrageous? Oh and Jackson needs to stop it. Okay, Jackson,
is that you, he says. Let me apologize to all
of my fans and constituents that didn't hear me on
the radio because of the weather bulletin. Some people missed
my information or my informative message m WDA hello, hello.
Speaker 14 (22:01):
Hello, hey, hey, please hear me.
Speaker 3 (22:04):
Sorry, I can.
Speaker 15 (22:06):
Great great breaks there.
Speaker 4 (22:08):
Listen.
Speaker 16 (22:09):
I would have to say nothing to that.
Speaker 11 (22:11):
What are your emails, girl?
Speaker 16 (22:12):
I am loved up here in the world.
Speaker 7 (22:14):
Okay, thank you all the break emails. Y'all are pretty,
says Also, that's when they.
Speaker 9 (22:21):
Got my back.
Speaker 3 (22:24):
Listen.
Speaker 11 (22:25):
Okay, Stormy, I can kill you already. I've already read
through this, read through.
Speaker 16 (22:29):
This email quickly.
Speaker 3 (22:30):
Okay.
Speaker 16 (22:31):
Now, I'm guaranteeing you there's a racial mix in this child.
Speaker 8 (22:36):
Okay, that's my thoughts.
Speaker 16 (22:38):
Yes, hfe, young girl were pretty here.
Speaker 11 (22:42):
They don't get me wrong.
Speaker 16 (22:44):
I understand the grandmother still, he probably that. Oh that's
all they do. They brag her hair so much that
she thinks she's so pretty as.
Speaker 14 (22:49):
You walk around.
Speaker 16 (22:50):
But again that's still by them.
Speaker 3 (22:52):
You're freaking places.
Speaker 16 (22:54):
The ladies who send the email is totally right. It's
totally other jousy, probably that other little kid bring kids
doll skin and whatnot. And listen, I say this is
I'm gonna say nobody, but there is the first thing
that good hair.
Speaker 4 (23:05):
Let's let we need to stop that.
Speaker 16 (23:06):
I mean, I sell my husband all the time. God
did us wrong with his napping hair. Okay, and I
loved the Lord with all my heart, but he did
every single usher free got good hair and step on, now, sary,
I had the napping And don't get me wrong, some
people love to let afro looks and we do good
things with our hair and say it's good. But when
(23:27):
you come down to it, we do got napping hair, okay,
and we don't say that as good hair. But I'm
thinking this little girl that's mixed with pretty curly hair.
Speaker 3 (23:36):
Her mom is her mom is black, her dad is white,
and the grandma is white.
Speaker 16 (23:41):
Yeah that boom, there you go, a red white thought
already told you. Now I'm gonna tell you a little
different by the grandmother being white, there's ten times more
worse than if the grandmother was black. If the grandma
was black and still bad, don't get me wrong, but
the grandma.
Speaker 7 (23:56):
Being white, I might have to lay hands on me.
I'm sorry, thank you on me.
Speaker 3 (24:00):
M all right, Meredith, Hey, Meredith, what do you think
about John Morant?
Speaker 11 (24:07):
Keep with football?
Speaker 7 (24:08):
And I right in here that sir, so I can't
come here.
Speaker 3 (24:09):
I'm a missing Wait wait wait wait you said you
don't really keep up with what? Oh I thought you
said football.
Speaker 16 (24:19):
I do know that much.
Speaker 5 (24:20):
I do know that much.
Speaker 16 (24:21):
Okay, I best about but I'm gonna keep listening and
ibody need to time in.
Speaker 3 (24:26):
I will tomorrow, okay, yes, ma'am, thank you, all right?
Bye bye? Yeah.
Speaker 5 (24:31):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (24:31):
That whole thing with with with job bless his heart.
I don't, I don't. I don't know what's going on
with him. Hopefully, Uh he's gonna be okay. Do y'all
really think they want him out of here? That somebody
really wants him out of here? They want him on
a better team? Is that what it is? But the Grizzlies,
I think they're the bomb in my opinion. I mean,
I know they don't have a coach right now, Well,
(24:52):
they do have an interim coach and so they you
know they they well uh nin on one five three
four two eight hundred five zero three nine three four

(25:39):
wherever you're going, just be mindful that the weather is
supposed to get kind of bad and that's why they're
closing down some schools and things like that. So we
definitely want you to be careful. Okay, we did do
something that uh, let me see me go through the
phones wd I A hello, Hello, hey there thy storming. Hey, Yeah,

like you said, the world was getting stormy outside, and
let you know, they just shut down the T shirt
thing where you can go pick up your T shirt.
Speaker 3 (26:12):
Yeah, I just you missed it. You probably maybe the
warning was going on the radio when I told everybody
that they shut it down for today.
Speaker 6 (26:20):
Okay, you've already put it out.
Speaker 17 (26:21):
I was you should do a ps PA, but you've
already now. I didn't catch it wasting my dad taking
my wife.
Speaker 3 (26:28):
No, well, they just shut it down pretty much. So
so yeah, yeah, I was trying to Yeah, I think
they shut it down at four and that's when I
mentioned it on the radio and Winston I tried to
tell you. I tried to tell you.

He tried do it again.
Speaker 17 (26:43):
People are getting out working, rushing over there to get
ready for it.
Speaker 3 (26:46):
Yeah yeah, and it's because of the weather, because we
don't want anybody to be in harm's way, and so
they've they've shut it down for right now. Yeah. Yeah, Winston,
I'm sorry you went that far. But that's okay. Hopefully
tomorrow we'll be back with it, but but if not,
Saturday morning for sure.
Speaker 4 (27:03):
Yeah, there you go.
Speaker 3 (27:05):
You're very welcome. Thank you for being a part of
Sister Struck this year. Yeah, all right, my wife, Okay,
well you you you should come to Winston because you know,
breast cancer doesn't just affect men, it affects uh well women,
it affects men too. I do know this.
Speaker 6 (27:23):

Speaker 3 (27:28):
Uh huh, okay, I'll let him know. I'll pass that on.
Thank you, sir. Okay, all right, bye bye. Yeah. Word
is Elon Musk allegedly is stepping down because he's got
to focus on his businesses and he got a lot
of them. That word honey, they say that Tesla to
(27:48):
Stock is just wo down in the dumps. Uh and uh,
he got the businesses here in Memphis. Yeah, so he's
got a Yeah. Sometimes sometimes oh i ope, I went
for set it a long time ago, she says something.
Sometimes you got to do one thing over sod. That's
why I'm doing putting my name on no grill and
all that other stuff. She said, because I wanted to
(28:10):
do one thing, and while I'm doing this one thing,
I want to do it. Well, you know what I'm saying.
If over said and I think about that often, you
know what I'm saying. But yeah, yeah, I think when you,
especially when you got money like this guy, sometimes you
you got to stay with it, you know, and and
people like that. You know, there's got money like Elon Musk,
(28:33):
he probably has to have security and all that stuff,
and I do it. I just wondered, when you're the
wealthiest man in the world, do you trust anybody? Do
you feel like you can trust anybody? I mean, you know,
because he probably feels like everybody is after something he
(28:54):
got and some people could be I mean, he got
he's got what thirteen with he got He's with thirteen
kids and maybe going on to the fourteen. Yeah, he's
giving up. Yeah, hey, hey, hey, anyway, hopefully John Morant's
gonna be okay. So we're talking about jow today and
that fingerpointing he did that game last night. It's gonna
(29:14):
be investigated by the NBA child and we're trying to
help Lily out. Her grandmamaa cut our hair. Her dad
is not happy, neither is her mom. And yeah, just
wondering what y'all think about that. I'm gonna read your
emails in just a second. Let me go back to
the phones. W D I A hello, man, I can't
(29:35):

Speaker 18 (29:38):
I ain't gone shake when I'm gonna kids done my mother.
My mom wouldn't be kicking my daughter no more. Did
you cut my daughter hair?
Speaker 4 (29:47):
You gonna do that? It ain't your job.
Speaker 3 (29:49):
You ain't no beatisaner.
Speaker 18 (29:52):
And you mother want my daughter to be a boy,
you gonna cut her hair like a boy? So uh
uh no, you're never the only time you'll see my daughter.
We come over there, all us come over the visit,
but other than that, you'll never.
Speaker 4 (30:05):
Spend no quite the time.
Speaker 18 (30:06):
Well, you messed up, and gentlemen, Ran he's been a
distraction on their team.
Speaker 8 (30:12):
For so long, you know, throwing.
Speaker 18 (30:15):
All the game signs and getting in trouble with the
guns and stuff.
Speaker 15 (30:18):
You know, you know it might be.
Speaker 8 (30:20):
About time for on the go.
Speaker 19 (30:22):
I don't know if they played good, they played good
with they can they can ball with that in that,
you know, But he just do he just he's staying
in trouble.
Speaker 3 (30:34):
For the wrong things, always something like always always something.
Speaker 18 (30:39):
So it's it's time for them to move on.
Speaker 3 (30:42):
Mmm, that's what it is. Time for time for to
move on. Take care of all, right, Clyine, thank you
so much for calling that. I do wonder what Big
Casino because he's he went to the game last night.
I wonder if he saw it, if he noticed it,
because a lot of people probably didn't notice it until today,
until they did ms Morelsa's lily. Lily must be a biracial,
(31:02):
must be by biracial, and the mother must be a
white No, the mother is black, the dad is white.
If that's the case, keep the child child away from
her unsupervised and unforgetful. Uh is he insane and disrespectful?
That's her hair? That's really child abuse? Hm hmm w
(31:26):
d I A hello, Hello Stummer, Hey Steven, what's going on?
Speaker 8 (31:34):
I's just calling in to say hello, thanks and listening
to your show.
Speaker 20 (31:42):
I can't I came in a little late, so I'm
going as you can pull me up to date. So
what did what did John?
Speaker 18 (31:49):
What he did?
Speaker 3 (31:49):
Now? He get the gun? He did the gun pointing
signal to the other team on the court with both
with both of his hands. Yeah, they did lose, Steph
Curry score affected two points?
Speaker 20 (32:05):
Bad point?
Speaker 3 (32:13):
Yeah what you say? What did you just cause? I said, Oh, okay, okay.
Speaker 4 (32:22):
You don't care.
Speaker 20 (32:23):
You don't care, Steven, you don't care, Steven slipping. Look
all right, well I don't know anything, Okay, Elon Muss.
Speaker 4 (32:30):
How did he get so rich?
Speaker 3 (32:33):
I don't know that all of his businesses, I suppose
you know, his family. I think his family had money too,
but all of his businesses I guess that he created
helped him, you know, get get even richer. You know,
it's easy when you got parents. It should be easy.
And I shouldn't say that because it's not, I guess
for everybody. But you know, some people get what they
(32:55):
call a leg up or they're born with a silver
spoon in their mouths, and uh yeah, that's that's Elon
and he made something out of it.
Speaker 4 (33:04):
So how would you think he is?
Speaker 3 (33:06):
Eli Muss? Yeah, you know what, that's a good question.
Speaker 8 (33:11):
I never heard a.
Speaker 6 (33:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (33:14):
So okay, this is my last question.
Speaker 3 (33:17):
Is he he's fifty, he's fifty three. He's fifty three.
Speaker 20 (33:22):
So you think he's what directionally?
Speaker 3 (33:26):
Oh Elon Musk? No, no, no, oh he's all black?
He white? Oh he's white.
Speaker 8 (33:32):
Oh okay, I never really.
Speaker 3 (33:33):
Just I really never just seen him. Oh yeah, m hm. Oh.
Speaker 20 (33:38):
But he's from Africa, right.
Speaker 3 (33:39):
In South Africa, but he's not black. Yeah.
Speaker 20 (33:42):
Oh okay, okay, so that's my parent. So we thank
for taking my call. And God bless him. Have a
safe ride home.
Speaker 3 (33:50):
Thank you, Steven. I appreciate you so very much. All right, Uh,
let's see me grab one of these emails here miss Lily. Well,
Miss Nita says about Lily, I don't think anyone besides
the child's parents has a right to do things to
the child, period. What she said? Mister Burton says, jaw.
(34:13):
It's been time for jaw a jaw trade. He stays
hurt and brings too many distractions to our top player.
Trade jaw for Kevin Durant. Do we want Kevin Durant?
Speaker 21 (34:27):
Hmm?
Speaker 3 (34:27):
Interesting? W d I A hello? I guess we will?
I take him. We'll take Kevin Durant if we got
to lose job. I don't want y'all to go nowhere?
Hey there, how you doing, Lily? I don't want y'all
to go nowhere?
Speaker 9 (34:40):
Do you? I don't know. I really don't know.
Speaker 3 (34:46):
You really don't you really don't care? Do you?
Speaker 4 (34:48):
No?
Speaker 9 (34:48):
I really don't But what I wanted to say. Of course,
I'm driving home and I hear the little girl named
Lilly again.
Speaker 3 (34:56):
Yeah, your name?
Speaker 5 (34:57):
You know?
Speaker 9 (34:59):
And that was something times when y'all start talking about
cutting someone's hair when we were when I was a
little girl, I was a baby girl.
Speaker 3 (35:06):
And come away from your radio because I can hear
myself from background. Oh yes, distracting a little bit because
I hear me, you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 9 (35:16):
No, Okay, I was a little girl in Mississippi and
my mother has has four daughters, and my parents was
out working and my older sister they wanted a little brother,
so they decided to cut my pigtails off.
Speaker 7 (35:30):
To be their little brother.
Speaker 3 (35:31):
What.
Speaker 9 (35:33):
Yes, I have a picture of man with the little
afro where they had cut my hair. My mother said
she did get it, get them when she got home.
But that's why they cut minds off. And I am
all the way African American, so they just wanted a
little brother.
Speaker 3 (35:47):
So you set you when it happened.
Speaker 9 (35:51):
I was so little to understand. I was a little girls,
lap girl, little lap baby.
Speaker 8 (35:55):
Whatever.
Speaker 9 (35:57):
Yeah, And I have a picture of me now.
Speaker 8 (35:59):
I was sitting there with hair like a little air pro.
Speaker 9 (36:01):
And all my little pictures of gone.
Speaker 11 (36:05):
Yeah that was fine.
Speaker 9 (36:07):
But I'm saying that when you said little and the
little girl hair cut, I thought about myself when I
was a baby and we were talking about the food.
I heard you yesterday talking about eating and you want
your your doctor and everything checked out fine. Oh man,
that was a man, a custodian.
Speaker 11 (36:26):
At some place with the New Jersey.
Speaker 9 (36:29):
He was doing things to the food, but the staff
and the teachers and stuff he was urinating in. Therefore,
are you ray? But then you know what I'm talking about.
When I said stop eating out so much and trusting people, Yeah, yeah,
(36:49):
you sure did. And I said that's a good thing
that we're reading and learning about eating out so much. Yeah,
but I just had to tell you about this hair
cut of mind.
Speaker 3 (37:02):
If you don't if you don't cook, what are you eating?
Miss Lily?
Speaker 9 (37:06):
Uh? I, Miss Goman. You know, cooking is totally different.
Anybody can cook. I can put the water in the
pot and boil it and whatever, a green frozeness. This
is that.
Speaker 3 (37:18):
Uh.
Speaker 9 (37:18):
But as far as cooking things like chip limbs and
all of that stuff pig feets and hog miles or
whatever they cook, No, I don't cook that kind of food.
Speaker 21 (37:27):
No way.
Speaker 9 (37:28):
I wouldn't hardly eat it.
Speaker 3 (37:29):
Really, yeah, I don't. I don't cook food like that either.
Speaker 9 (37:32):
Mm hmm. It's really not good for it.
Speaker 3 (37:36):
But I thought you didn't cook at all.
Speaker 9 (37:39):
Well, like I said, when people said I don't cook,
you know some people can just cook them scratch. I
mean they do it.
Speaker 8 (37:45):
Yeah everything.
Speaker 9 (37:46):
If I'm gonna make a cake, I probably use cake
from the box, but I don't do it. But I
can boil wide and put a piece of something in
there and put some frozen greens or can greens in it.
Oh okay, Yeah, there are some people that just cooked
on the scratch. Stdium. Man he was putting cleaning fluid,
(38:08):
body fluid in the food for the Yeah.
Speaker 3 (38:13):
Some of those folks had got some STDs from that. Yeah.
Speaker 9 (38:20):
Oh yeah, Well that's what I'm saying about needing out
so much trusting people like say, you can't. Everybody's intentions
are not good.
Speaker 3 (38:28):
But right, yeah, we just have You're welcome, all right,
bye bye. Uh let me see here. Let me go
to the talk back because yesterday I did get a
message from somebody. I should have played it yesterday, and
but I didn't see it until until we were done
with the after the six o'clock I didn't see it.
(38:48):
So I'm gonna play it now. This is a comment
from yesterday's show.
Speaker 22 (38:53):
Yeah, Fred, Now, now you know what I'm talking about.
They used to pack. We ain't gonna get no five thousand?
That was s yeah right, but yeah, Fred and Lamont,
Yeah they used to peg on the set. You know
what time it was in nineteen seventies. Yeah, you had
to be scrapped like Jet ed to today. You gotta
(39:16):
be scrapped like Jet.
Speaker 5 (39:19):
Yeah they were.
Speaker 3 (39:20):
They was drapped. But we talked about that on the
Yes Today. Thank you, sir for chiming in on that
talkback feature. Your emails here. Mss Vivian says, good evening.
Stormy Elon Musk isn't used to things not going his way,
and when his twenty one million couldn't buy the jew
audicial election in Wisconsin, it busts his bubble. I thank
(39:43):
god for the voters in Wisconsin showing him that money
couldn't buy their integrity. Mss Tasha Parker, Hey girl, she says, Stormy,
you and Jackson need y'all own podcast. You two are
two hilarious. Lol. Now you're blowing Jackson's head up. God
have mercy, he got the big head now. W d
(40:06):
I a l o.
Speaker 5 (40:08):
Old Stormy?
Speaker 3 (40:09):
T Hey King Harry, what's going on.
Speaker 6 (40:15):
Here?
Speaker 21 (40:16):
He said?
Speaker 3 (40:17):
What was that again?
Speaker 5 (40:19):
I said, why you brought all these storms here for
the next photo?
Speaker 3 (40:22):
Hey, I said, I said earlier, I need to change
my name is because of the weather.
Speaker 5 (40:27):
Yeah, I wanted to call about the John Moran that
was totally wrong. Uh, Kenneth picking from Pittsburgh stillis did
that in a game and they find him and suspended him.
Speaker 4 (40:39):
Second game, he did.
Speaker 5 (40:42):
A pointed gun at uh the other team like a
finger out. They find him and threw a penlody on
him and everything.
Speaker 3 (40:49):
Okay, so John's not the first player to do that,
No he's not.
Speaker 5 (40:53):
They don't play that.
Speaker 8 (40:54):
You can't show no kind of.
Speaker 4 (40:55):
Sign of a weapon in any professional sport.
Speaker 8 (41:00):
And he should have learned when.
Speaker 5 (41:01):
He had gotten that trub in colder water with that
dumb deal. Love of these players now sm the ghetto
they got there like the.
Speaker 6 (41:09):
Get life in them m m.
Speaker 5 (41:11):
And they ain't all that money. He needs to get
rip and get away from around hurting.
Speaker 11 (41:15):
People, you know.
Speaker 3 (41:20):
Yeah, sometimes you gotta change your environment and change the
people that you hang around. Harry out where you go?
Speaker 5 (41:30):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (41:31):
Oh? His phone cut out? Y'all send up a prayer.
I hope king Harry oh is Okay? W D I
A hello, Hello, hey nurse Beverly. How you doing all else?
Speaker 8 (41:48):
Arm?
Speaker 7 (41:50):
Can you hear me?
Speaker 5 (41:51):
Now?
Speaker 3 (41:51):
I can hear you. I can hear you.
Speaker 7 (41:53):
Just fine, Okay, okay, I'm driving this draffing. I'm not
gonna slow down. So that's why I'm called.
Speaker 23 (42:01):
Yes, ma'am John Moran.
Speaker 7 (42:05):
I'm about getting supper him. I used to really, really
really admire him. He was such a fun person to
watch plays. But I don't know. Lately, I don't know
what it is about him. He wants to be too dramatic.
He wants to do all these during acrobats and as
(42:28):
far as that's gone signal, I've seen him do that
in a lot of games.
Speaker 3 (42:34):
It's not the first time. Yeah, it's not the first.
It's not the first time he's done that.
Speaker 7 (42:40):
No, he just got that thug in it. He wants
to he wants to be he wants to be street
and you know, he's forgetting that he's supposed to be
a professional. He's supposed to be a professional when all
these young kids have been looking up to him, admiring him,
(43:00):
and even a lava ADUs I got two Ja Morant
T shirts. I don't know what I'm gonna do with him.
I might donate them to the Salvation Arm. But I'm
getting sick of.
Speaker 3 (43:12):
Him and my whole always.
Speaker 7 (43:14):
Thing that the team plays better without him because he
a lot of times, you know, he's not a team player.
He wants to do everything all by himself.
Speaker 4 (43:26):
That's what Gerry coch Cox says.
Speaker 7 (43:29):
But I'm I'm getting sick of all this negative stuff.
I mean, he has been given time, he been given mercy,
He's been giving chance after chance after chance out of
all the thing, all out of all the things he
has done, and I don't know. I think he's he's
(43:49):
he's losing his appeal. That's that's my opinion. But yeah,
I've seen him do all kind of signs and signals
during his games. And Clyde, you never did answer the
question if you were gonna come and go to church
with me and coach.
Speaker 23 (44:07):
I still got food left.
Speaker 7 (44:09):
I still got to to get it with brown turkey
in it. I still got red beans with bell pepples onions,
and I got homemade slough, I got corn bread. I
still got some love. And you can get a plate
if you agree to go to church with us, son
and so text storman let her give her your respond
and I'll catch your plate ready, and me and coach
(44:31):
we might even bring it to you if you're gonna
go to church with thank the storm.
Speaker 3 (44:38):
All right, Nurse Beverly, Look, I'm gonna ask you one
question and I'm gonna let you go. Mister Henry calls
yesterday and he asked if he could get a piece
of corn bread. He said, he really like some of
your corn bread.
Speaker 7 (44:53):
You know what I think, mister Henry just he just low.
I don't think Henry really mean no harm. Really, I
really don't. I don't take offense, you know to what
he said. I just think he just long lie And
I felt so. I was so touched when he said
said when he go to the doctor from saying.
Speaker 3 (45:13):
He don't want to go.
Speaker 7 (45:16):
And watch his TV.
Speaker 8 (45:17):
Yeah, And I want to tell him too.
Speaker 7 (45:20):
He listening to Staying Bail in the morning. I think
that would perk him up too, because you know, Staying
show is energetic. Your show is good, energetic and very Bonnie.
It's fun. But I was thinking about mister Henry this
morning when I was listening Staying Bail doing his mixing.
He was playing all these good up deep dancing. I said, now,
(45:42):
mister Henry, stopped watching Karen Mason and that Ironside or
whatever show you be watching in the morning. This is stay.
He may feel a little better. It may perk him up.
Speaker 3 (45:53):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (45:54):
Yeah, So just just something to consider, mister Henry. Yeah,
listen to staying in the morning. I've been your day, night,
go whole lot better.
Speaker 3 (46:02):
All right, thank you? All right, tell coach we said
hello too.
Speaker 7 (46:07):
Okay, he's probably listen. I'm on the road, but he's
probably listening.
Speaker 3 (46:13):
Okay, thank you for calling it. You be careful, Okay,
I will bye bye bye bye.
Speaker 6 (46:19):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (46:19):
You know what I need. I'm gonna need somebody to
call me and give me, you know, an update on
the weather in your area, because Timmy, what's happening in
your area? I know over Central? Was it Central High School?
I heard the powers out over them? So, uh, it's
(46:41):
your chance to be a weather man our well woman,
I have me not on one five three five nine
three four two eight hundred five zero three nine three
four two eight three three five three five nine three
four two stormy tea not the w d i A
dot com is my email. And then sister strud we
we've shut down. Just wanted to let you guys, no,
we are not doing the packet pick up right now
(47:02):
because of the weather. Okay, and coming up. Got a
response from Clyde and Big Cahuna, Mss Freddy, Miss Larry, y'all,
hold on, will be back and we are back on
this windy, wet and stormy Wednesday. We shut down the
(47:26):
registrations for sus destruct today and the packet pickup. So
for those of you that thought about heading out there,
don't because we've shut down for it today because of
the weather. You know, a lot of people are closing
early and you know, kids getting out of school early
today because of this weather. It could get really stormy
and no pun intended, it could seriously, y'all. It was
(47:50):
about it was about two years ago two I think
it was about two years ago, maybe maybe two and
a half years ago. We had a storm come through
the area. Uh and I believe we're technically in the
Parkway Village area, right on the maybe outskirts of Parkway
(48:11):
Village area. So we had a storm hit the building,
you know, come through the building. It was a tornado
and we were live on the air. I was on
at the time with Mike Evans and Earl Augustus was there,
and we were in the studio, and you know, they
(48:32):
kept telling us, they were like, come on, let's go,
let's go, let's go, let's go. I took my time,
you know, I think all of us did. We kind
of took our time because you know, we'd hear the
alarms go off in the buildings before and nothing was
going on. So we were you know, we thought, oh,
we're straight, we were cool, We're gonna be fine. So
all of a sudden, you know, when we're about to leave,
(48:53):
we're sitting there, we're talking to people on the air,
and we're sitting there and we're about to leave. We
here the boom, you know, and you know, I jumped
and we all jumped, and it was so dark, I mean,
we couldn't see what was going on, so, you know,
we didn't we didn't know what had happened. We just
you know, heard the boom and it was it was
(49:15):
actually on the wall near me, because Mike and I
were on the wall where the windows were, and so
we went downstairs and we came back up. There was
a tornado that had come through the area, and I
figured that was what it was. You know why, even
(49:36):
though we're insulated in this building and we're not on
the same side of where we were then, But even
though we're insulated in this building, you could still hear
what was happening outside. I could hear what they've always
told us, you could hear before a tornado happens. I
(49:58):
could hear what sound did like a train. Now we
ain't nowhere, you know, and thousands of we're nowhere near
a train tracks. I herd we I wasn't the only one.
They heard it too, but sounded like a train coming.
It was a tornado. We finally go downstairs, We finally
(50:23):
get back upstairs, and when we get back upstairs, it's
light because it happened like really early in the morning
when it was still kind of dark. Uh. And it
must have been in the must have been in the
fall after uh daylight savings time was over. So we
get back upstairs and we looked because now it's light outside, y'all.
(50:47):
I kid you not. The tree, the huge tree that
was down outside of the window where in the building
where we were. That tornado uprooted that tree and that
(51:08):
tree smashed the window right behind me. I believe. I
don't know what y'all believe, but I believe it wasn't
nothing but the grace of God that day that my
life was spared, not just mine but ours. But the
show would have got me right behind me. I was
(51:32):
less than two feet from that window. It was a
double pane window, and evidently those windows were tough. That
tree was uprooted, That thing was big, uprooted, flew into
the window. We finally went outside and saw that we
(51:57):
were all just shook. Couldn't believe it. One of those
moments where it's almost like you know your life flashes
before your eyes, even though you didn't know what you were,
the danger you were in. I'm it's still to some
(52:20):
there are some things that can happen in your life
that can shake you so that you come to the
realization there was Number God. What I am not supposed
to be. We are not supposed to be here Number God.
(52:42):
All right, let me get to Clyde. Clyde, he responded
to Nurse Beverly. He said, stormytelling Nurse Beverly, if I
gotta go to church with her and coach, I guess
I won't get a plate. My atheist, my God. I
(53:03):
was hoping my story changed his life. It didn't. I
also says Stormy, you can hook up mister Henry with
a nice little lady. Well, you know, I was trying
to talk to Miss Lily, but Miss you know, I don't.
I don't think Miss Lily is going. You know what
I'm saying. I don't think she's going.
Speaker 21 (53:17):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (53:18):
And it's also says in my part of town, it's
just windy and uh with no rain in the Raleigh area.
Unforgetfo called me too during the break. He said in
the three eight six what he no three eight one
one one area? He said, it's nothing happening over there,
but evidently there are things happening in other places. Uh,
(53:38):
let's see. Miss Morel says Stormy. Ja does no more
than any other player. He's being punished for past behavior.
If you look at this season, jaw has been quiet
trade for Durant. He's thirty six and is currently injured.
He has been injured most of the year. Also with
(53:58):
the Lily situation, I meant the grandmother was white, and yes,
it's child abuse because it was done against her will
and it was a physical act. You know, some of
the other folks that commented about it. That is exactly
what they said. I let get back to your emails.
But right now going to the phones. Uh w d

Speaker 6 (54:53):

Speaker 4 (54:53):
That's why he is the one.
Speaker 24 (54:55):
That's selling no tickets and he's the one that's bringing
them in. Yes, he's doing some stuff, Oh yes, but
I still think that they are picking on him on
whatever he does.
Speaker 4 (55:04):
You know.
Speaker 24 (55:05):
But I just hope greasy say, and I hope they
keep him and you know, hope they get them a

Speaker 14 (55:31):
I'm doing, I'm doing. I want to make a comment
on what you had mentioned earlier about the fried chicken
flavory toothpaste. Yeah, yeah, I mentioned it to my son.
Says he loves him some fried chicken. He said, Now
I got pass on that.
Speaker 3 (55:47):
I know.
Speaker 14 (55:52):
He said, I stick to my regular toothpaste and I
eat the fried chicken. Right, and baby Lily, Grandma was
definitely wrong for touching that baby's hair.
Speaker 3 (56:04):
Yeah, yeah, I agree.
Speaker 14 (56:06):
And if if the parents have to buy grandma so
bid take away her grandparents' rights. She ain't had no
business touching that baby's head. And the baby gonna resent
her cause she ain't gonna wanna go to the grandma
house no more, m cause she gonna remember Grandma cut
my hair.
Speaker 3 (56:24):
Yeah, baby crowed all night long, hurt that baby.
Speaker 14 (56:28):
Now, Grandma, if you listen, you are to be shamed.
Somebody need to cut your hair. And uh you had
mentioned about uh huh elon brush coming to Memphis. Uh huh, Yeah,
he gonna come to Memphis. He passing out them five
thousand dollars checks.
Speaker 7 (56:48):
He is.
Speaker 14 (56:49):
Gonna be passing out the five you think?
Speaker 3 (56:52):
Okay, okay, so you think we gonna get some fire,
We're gonna get five down down checks in this area.
Is that what you're saying?
Speaker 9 (56:59):
Yeah, Memphis.
Speaker 14 (57:03):
President, y'all better be ready because he coming.
Speaker 3 (57:07):
Okay, Miss Freddy, so.
Speaker 14 (57:10):
Y'all be when he say when they say eli mussels
in town, y'all better find out where it get lying. Hey,
don't take the check, take the cash because you know
he gonna come packing with a whole lot of cash. Yes,
he brings that check. It may not be a good check.
Oh Lord, than him and his buddy, they're running together, right.
(57:37):
And also with the Grizzly game last night, don't forget
the young man that called you and said he was
going to the game.
Speaker 3 (57:43):
Yeah, yeah, he gotta call you and let you know
what happens. Yeah.
Speaker 14 (57:47):
I told him to Yeah, okay, because that's my coming.
And what happened there? Harry?
Speaker 9 (57:53):
Oh we got cut.
Speaker 14 (57:53):
Out from Harry.
Speaker 9 (57:54):
Oh yeah, talking.
Speaker 14 (57:56):
About what he was talking about.
Speaker 3 (57:58):
Right, Oh my goodness, I hope I hope his phone
is okay, because he was yeah, mixed centers and then
he just disappeared.
Speaker 14 (58:06):
Cut out and Nurse Beverly, you gotta you gotta stop
giving the menu over the radio. We started it, but
now you gotta stop.
Speaker 3 (58:16):
Because people want to comment.
Speaker 4 (58:19):
M hm.
Speaker 14 (58:19):
Because when you were saying, when she was saying, always oh,
she sounds like what I had cooked sunday. Oh lord,
miss mm hmm the page.
Speaker 3 (58:28):
Yeah, thank you, it's Freddy you all right, bye bye,
oh man, bless the heart. Miss Morell says, Joe is
leading us, the leading assist guy on the team. He
gives the ball to everyone. Sometimes he has to score.
What is miss Beverly talking about. Joe is not the
(58:49):
only person to do the gunslinger gesture. He didn't point
at anyone, okay, And Coach Cox said, I am listening
storm at tea. Hey, Coach Greg w d I A hello, Hey, hey,
mister Norman, how you doing.
Speaker 8 (59:09):
I'm black tassing Susan.
Speaker 13 (59:11):
Let me tell you I know somebody they can get
in the style for the Grizzlies who blackassic red wing baby.
Speaker 3 (59:20):
Come on with it. You trying to say on the court,
I'll beat the ball.
Speaker 4 (59:27):
Just bouncing me around.
Speaker 3 (59:28):
Oh lord, oh my goodness, Oh my goodness, how you
doing doing good? Doing good? You're doing okay good?
Speaker 13 (59:40):
Yeah, I'm doing okay.
Speaker 4 (59:42):
Hey.
Speaker 13 (59:42):
I just want to encourage people.
Speaker 5 (59:44):
Uh. You know, I started.
Speaker 13 (59:45):
Putting a lot of keeping a lot of my pocket
change in my in my car, and uh, because you know,
they got you got a lot of young people be
standing on she's selling juices and drinks and papers and
trying to make some money, you know, and they got
their little help and on and they're working honestly, So
you know, I want to encourage people. Man, help them out.
Even if you don't buy anything, just give them a
(01:00:07):
little change or something to help him out. But the
in fact that they're willing to work for it is
one of the things that I love to respect so much.
And even if I don't want anything, I try to
drop off a few dollars to them, just just encourage
them to keep on walking and you know, working forward,
you know, and tell them thank you so much of it,
and I appreciate you working for it. Yeah, you know,
(01:00:28):
I think that'll go.
Speaker 12 (01:00:29):
A long way with a lot of our children, I
really do.
Speaker 3 (01:00:32):
Yeah. Yeah, And then they thank.
Speaker 13 (01:00:34):
You also because our event on Sunday went very well.
Speaker 3 (01:00:39):
Well, good for you, mister red Wing. I'm glad it did.
Speaker 13 (01:00:41):
You really did the town hall meeting went so well,
So thank you so much.
Speaker 4 (01:00:46):
I really I appreciate you.
Speaker 3 (01:00:47):
All right, thank you very well? All right, all right,
all right, I just saw a picture. My coworker, Sherry
just posted a picture. Looks like a funnel cloud out
there somewhere. I'm trying to see the area that she's in.
(01:01:07):
She didn't really say anything else but be safe family, Sherry.
What happened girl? What's going on? Because? Donea that looks
like a torndle tornado however you want to call it
whatever you want. What that looks like? Let me call
Share and see what's going on. Let me go back
to the phones and see what you guys are talking
about today. W D I A hello.
Speaker 15 (01:01:30):
I am the most aeradite mind, brilliant thinker and political philosopher.
You know, I told you, I told you that I
need to be a White House. Of course, give y'all
an update on when things happen. So y'all, I won't
go into y'all. I want to go into a shop. Okay, yeah,
(01:01:52):
So elon musk is a special government employee. Okay, he
can only be in that position for one hundred and
thirty days.
Speaker 3 (01:02:06):
So it's about so his time is about to be up.
Speaker 15 (01:02:09):
It's time is about to be up here, you know.
Speaker 3 (01:02:12):
I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Hold your horse.
Speaker 15 (01:02:14):
And now they trying to find a way to extend
it over but it's it's one hundred and thirty days
in and in the end of May, one hundred and
thirty days, so you can only serve it one thirty
days as a special gunman employa. So they're trying to
extend this a little bit. So don't y'all get all
upset think that because y'all little bootleg protests y'all had
(01:02:35):
about take down Tesla, that ain't scare him at all?
Speaker 3 (01:02:39):
Wow, who is yao?
Speaker 20 (01:02:41):
You know?
Speaker 15 (01:02:42):
You know they were they had that little protest black conservatives.
Speaker 3 (01:02:45):
I don't think black people are messing with anybody's cheslas.
You know what I'm saying? That ain't us.
Speaker 15 (01:02:52):
Yeah, yeah, they had that protest something about take down Tesla.
They think they're scaring them out, But don't worry.
Speaker 9 (01:02:59):
Uh.
Speaker 15 (01:02:59):
Rather then Trump probably gonna go give me a textenter
later I'll be putting that position. I guarantee you y'all,
y'all think somebody got fired. I'm sending all.
Speaker 3 (01:03:11):
Of y'all home, Oh, Lloyd, But let me.
Speaker 15 (01:03:16):
Say about the grizzly okay said about the grizzlin. Yeah,
but it's one hundred and thirty days to come to
the end and made y'all.
Speaker 4 (01:03:22):
So that's that's all that's happening.
Speaker 15 (01:03:24):
But here's there. Josh is not disciplined. Michael Jordan was
a great the greatest of all time in my opinion.
But Jordan was very disciplined on the court. Josh is
not disciplined on the basketball court. But he get injured
all the time, you know. So no, he can always
(01:03:44):
go and play, you know, you know with a team
where he can you know, uh shine a little bit more.
But uh and that's fine dandy, But he just got
to be a little more disciplined on the court, just
like a football star player he has. He could be good.
But if he's not disciplined, like I tell you, I
(01:04:05):
tell you, I give you an example, particularly Elliott who
played with the Cowboys. He's good, right, uh huh, But
Eliot is not disciplined at all. He was non disciplined,
got in trouble all the time, you know, lost of lawsuits,
you know, revealing a young girl, bredge, you know, in
(01:04:27):
public exposure. So he wasn't disciplined. Josh's got to get
a little more wherever he go, He's gonna have to
get a little more disciplined. On the court, he had
to slow it down.
Speaker 3 (01:04:36):
Okay, you know, so you know what, And I do
kind of agree with that because I think, you know, yeah,
he I think, yeah, there's something something's going on. And
I'm not coaching nothing like that, but coach you know,
I'm kind of with coach Greg when he you know,
talks about you know, how he plays. I wouldn't necessarily
say that he's selfish or anything like that, but I
would say that that there's a reason that to me,
(01:04:59):
and I don't know a whole lot of uh, you know,
I did play basketball in high school. Let me just
say that. Okay, yeah, I played in school. But what
I'm saying there's a he gets hurt a lot, you
know what, has gotten hurt. But but it also makes
me wonder because he's supposedly gotten hurt a lot of
(01:05:20):
this year, but he was he faking it? Was he
faking it? Was he faking it because he wanted to
coach some changes with the coach?
Speaker 15 (01:05:29):
I mean maybe that's that's that's a possibility. But you know,
but I'm just simply saying, And let me tell something there.
His daddy don't help him at all. He just is
his daddy sure be able to say, hey, love you know,
you know, flow down a little bit the core. You're young,
you know, vibrate, you know, his daddy his daddy.
Speaker 3 (01:05:54):
I ain't all I got you conservative, I got you
to run. I'm not have to run, and I got you.
Speaker 18 (01:06:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:06:03):
But you know, sometimes thank you for calling. I think
sometimes with these kids, you can only do what you
can do. I'm telling you, I didn't even think about it. Y'all.
Think about it. If you were twenty four, twenty five
years of age and you were making the kind of
money Ja Morant is making, could anybody tell you anything?
(01:06:31):
I mean, think back, think back, not how you are today,
but think back, think back how you were at that age,
and if you were making that kind of money, could
anybody tell you anything? I can answer right now. You
would be able to tell me, Jack or Jill, you
(01:06:54):
know what I'm saying, anyway, I'm gonna take a break.
We're gonna come back, Lady d August uh big Kahuna
coming to get y'all and we're back. Hey, everybody, Happy
Wednesday to your April the second. I hope your Wednesday,
stormy Wendy wet Wednesday is a good one. I really do.
(01:07:17):
I really do. I do hope you okay too. I
got that classic TV throwback for you on the way,
so stick around for that. Yeah, mister Swinney says, it's
light out in Olive Branch. Okay, so nothing going on
in Olive Branch. Let me check these emails and see
what's happening in this world. What y'all got going on?
(01:07:41):
It was making that kind of if, Okay, if I
was making that kind of money. Yes, I'm going to
pay attention to what my father tells me to act young,
just like him. The blind leading the blind. It's Kosha, Hey,
miss Kosha. Okay, what's today? It's on there, it's on them.
(01:08:04):
It's Kach. She told me not to share what she
read with y'all. Yeah, So I asked for a weather forecast,
and somebody comming me, this's weather, jammy. What was happening.
Speaker 8 (01:08:19):
W D I A hello, good evening, Storey.
Speaker 4 (01:08:24):
How you doing?
Speaker 3 (01:08:24):
Good evening, big CAHOONA, how you doing?
Speaker 12 (01:08:28):
I'm doing absolutely motherless.
Speaker 3 (01:08:31):
You sound mo.
Speaker 4 (01:08:34):
And uh I want to start all over again.
Speaker 12 (01:08:37):
Good evening today. Astronomical stormy how about that?
Speaker 3 (01:08:41):
Yes? I like it? Yes? Same.
Speaker 12 (01:08:46):
The reason I called that was a uh tonadd out
in the area of millions comparly, and and my concern
for today will be is that it's going to intensify
and the line of storms probably gonna get here, uh
(01:09:09):
probably around about maybe seven seven thirty.
Speaker 3 (01:09:12):
Oh, I got to get home.
Speaker 4 (01:09:13):
Then, well, it's.
Speaker 8 (01:09:15):
Gonna get pretty rough.
Speaker 12 (01:09:16):
You need to be getting out of it as soon
as you can, because it's gonna get pretty bad because
you got a line of storms already that's in Little Rock.
And I figured maybe a couple hours of the propertly
be here.
Speaker 3 (01:09:27):
Wow. Yeah, Sherry, just excuse me, big Huna. Sherry Mackie
just messaged me back and she said a tornado touched
down in Millington, just what you were just talking about.
Speaker 12 (01:09:40):
Absolutely, I don't want to give you incorrect information when
it comes to mister Eli Musk, I hear black corn
talking and Clyde and all of that mob Denver and
and and I and I'm gonna ask you a question
at the end. It's gonna be real quick when it
comes to el was what happened was when they lost
(01:10:03):
that race up in Wisconsin last night due to the
fact he came up just throwing around his money, when
the chief at, chiefs at and all of that, and
the Republican loss. For now, what they're looking at is
that Eli Musk is damaged good. They can't deal with it,
(01:10:24):
so they gonna phase him out. I figure maybe you
know blood Conservatives talking about in May is ten years up. No,
he'll probably be leaving within the next four or five days.
They gonna they gonna run him out of their White
House on a rail. You watch what I teas because
he is not.
Speaker 3 (01:10:44):
Good for the country.
Speaker 12 (01:10:45):
Also when it comes to Donald Trump, he is not
good for the country. And people under and understand something.
Now I'm gonna stop because I don't want to run
out of tag. Name me five things that Donald Trump
for did it good for the people? And I'm gonna
hang up and listen and remember, folks, the place to.
Speaker 3 (01:11:08):
Be it's.
Speaker 4 (01:11:10):
Experience.
Speaker 12 (01:11:13):
Why, thank you.
Speaker 3 (01:11:17):
Thank you very much big Khonah. I sure do appreciate
him because I can play that anytime. I get ready.
You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 14 (01:11:26):
W D I A hello, Trumps instigator?
Speaker 3 (01:11:30):
How you doing? What? What's put some respect on it?
Put some respect on it, young August. I love it.
Speaker 13 (01:11:43):
I'm here for it.
Speaker 3 (01:11:44):
Oh hey girl, how you doing?
Speaker 7 (01:11:48):
I'm doing fine?
Speaker 3 (01:11:49):
Good.
Speaker 7 (01:11:50):
Let me just say the nurse Beverly first, you saying
that you don't think mister Harry Mains in a horror translates.
Speaker 8 (01:11:58):
To him as if you're as for him.
Speaker 4 (01:12:00):
So get ready, get ready?
Speaker 9 (01:12:04):
Do you?
Speaker 19 (01:12:05):
What do you heard?
Speaker 7 (01:12:05):
Was ooh she asked about me? Yeah, get ready and
I'm gonna be entertained.
Speaker 8 (01:12:11):
So I'm ready.
Speaker 7 (01:12:15):
I didn't call this assuming, but you mentioned something about
job man to go and you asked to turn to
You know, if you got that type of money, could.
Speaker 3 (01:12:22):
Somebody tell you something?
Speaker 7 (01:12:23):
You finding me of a song Kanye made years ago,
a long time ago, Ask me and the song all
can't tell me Nothing, and he was talking about when
you get money, what happens? And one of his lines says,
it's so hard not to be reckless. I feel the
pressure and I'm under more scrutiny, and what do I do?
Speaker 6 (01:12:43):
I add more stupid.
Speaker 7 (01:12:45):
Well, not all of us, you know, not all of
us are like that, but a lot of people with money.
When you get money in power, who you really are
inside is magnified.
Speaker 3 (01:12:54):
Especially if you've never had it before. You know what
I'm saying.
Speaker 7 (01:12:59):
So I get it, but I hope.
Speaker 8 (01:13:00):
But when I get mine, I.
Speaker 3 (01:13:04):
Know that's right.
Speaker 14 (01:13:06):
You know now that I'm trying to get I'm on
the way.
Speaker 7 (01:13:09):
Yeah, it's kind, yes, Matt, And I'm working forward.
Speaker 5 (01:13:16):
This grandmother.
Speaker 7 (01:13:18):
So of course most people have already said that she's wrong,
and she was terribly wrong. But when I think about
how my personality is, what offends me the most is
that if I come to you and I tell you
how you wrong me and how you make me feel,
and you respond by saying why you did what you did,
and you're telling me that I'm wrong in.
Speaker 8 (01:13:37):
Your way with the other, that's gonna make the situation worse.
Speaker 7 (01:13:40):
And I think above, you know, above the other thing.
Yet that was bad that she didn't act, But you
you rejected.
Speaker 8 (01:13:47):
The sons and the mother's feeling.
Speaker 7 (01:13:49):
You you just disregarded them, and you're still not apologizing
at least acknowledge that you're wrong. But that's why they.
Speaker 8 (01:13:56):
Don't want her to see the child. But at least man.
Speaker 7 (01:14:00):
When people do stuff like that, they don't they don't respect.
Speaker 8 (01:14:03):
You, and they force you to set.
Speaker 7 (01:14:04):
Boundaries and then they tell you you wrong.
Speaker 4 (01:14:08):
Yeah, but now the sign ain't he's not wrong.
Speaker 7 (01:14:12):
They're doing it the right way, honestly because main left
our actions but not take a responsibility, and then you
force people to be hard on you.
Speaker 3 (01:14:21):
That's right. Yeah. Yeah, it's kind of sad when you
think about it, because now you you've got a son
who is you know, put against his mother. You know
what I'm saying. She kind of created something that didn't
have to be there, you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 7 (01:14:39):
And she can still fix it, but you've got to
be sincere and actually acknowledge that you've done wrong and
believe you've done wrong.
Speaker 4 (01:14:45):
She don't believe it.
Speaker 7 (01:14:46):
It's gonna get worse over time.
Speaker 3 (01:14:48):
Yeah. Yeah, it's sad, but.
Speaker 8 (01:14:52):
Thank you, miss missed on me.
Speaker 3 (01:14:54):
Watch it. I'm gonna do it. I'm gonna be Jackson
on you. Hey, thank you, thank you, young y. I
appreciate your calling in all right, bye bye. Yeah it
is kind of sad when I saw this story. I
actually read it last night, and I thought the first
(01:15:17):
I thought it was sad, and then I put myself
in the in, you know, in this place, and I
thought about, you know, my son and his wife, and
you know what they would how they would feel if
I did that to their children. You know, if I
just cut one of my cut my granddaughter's head because
I wanted to, you know what I'm saying, A part
of you would be like, you know, I'm nick grandmama.
(01:15:39):
I can do what I won't, but you can't do that.
You really can't with other folks children, you know what
I'm saying. You man, you if because you risk the
ability to have time or spend time with your grandchildren again.
And you so you have to ask yourself which is
more important cutting this child's hair or not seeing the
(01:16:00):
child at all, because now you can't even see the
child without supervision. They all got to be together now,
and you know that Mama ain't gonna let you touch
that baby. Had no So this guy, he wrote two
days ago. As a matter of fact, this is a
(01:16:21):
recent story. His wife. You know, they got a six
year old daughter. Her name is lily. She's got a
long curly hair, had long curly hair, and it was
a bonding moment between the child and the mama because
they would do their hair together and all that kind
of stuff. Anyway, took the baby over to his mother's house.
That he's calling Karen. Now that might be a little disrespectful,
(01:16:44):
calling your mama Karen, but she is kind of acting
like one. Okay, But Karen cut the child hair because
she said it was unruly. And basically, when they say
you're welcome is her attitude. Mm hmmm. Now they don't
(01:17:05):
want her to see the baby. They said we can't.
We can't have your babysitting. Yeah, they said, no more
babysitting for you. I would be devastated if I couldn't
babysit my grandkids. I'd be devastated. W U D I
A hello, Yes, lady D. What's up? Lady D?
Speaker 8 (01:17:27):
A grandmama.
Speaker 11 (01:17:30):
First of all, See, everybody thinks unless grandmama call you,
in volunteer.
Speaker 4 (01:17:36):
To get their child. Grandmama up to the age. Grandmama
probably playing me.
Speaker 11 (01:17:46):
I can hear grandmama nod she Grandmama know she don't
go to dead for couldn't the child her so had
to be small. Grandmama know that maybe I I cut
on hair even though Grandmama was.
Speaker 3 (01:18:02):
Out of order.
Speaker 11 (01:18:03):
But somewhere down the line, did she just up.
Speaker 8 (01:18:08):
And cut at her hair?
Speaker 11 (01:18:09):
They done led Grandmama to believe if the long as
you not have beasen her, she can come over your house.
So Grandmama laughs, Okay, I didn't know.
Speaker 4 (01:18:19):
That it was gonna be permanent.
Speaker 11 (01:18:21):
So on the times they get ready to go, see
people need to stop doing this. I'm gonna say ages
unless Grandmama call you for that chime because see some
of your chees dog, I know whether there.
Speaker 3 (01:18:39):

Grandma.
Speaker 11 (01:19:00):
I'm gonna got to go home soon or later. And
Grandma probably go home and beat your laughing. She didn't
be abused the child. So if you got to me,
you got the design you are playing because if not
be so fast, you not raised fo generation. And these
folks dropped these chiding out and some of them saying
(01:19:21):
every back the cloud.

purpose so she don't get the baby.
