Speaker 1 (00:00):
And last week, man, we've had some really nice weather
around here, and I'm glad about it. I don't know
about you, but I am glad about it. It's been beautiful.
It really has little cool these last couple of days.
But that's okay. We'll take it. We'll take it, all right, y'all. Listen,
how y'all feeling y'all all right? Check in with you?

(00:20):
See if you're all right, Dacy, yep, see if y'all
doing good. Bobby Brown said something I thought was interesting.
Y'all know, Chris Brown is coming to Memphis. I know, y'all,
y'all don't care. Y'all want them Charlie Wilson tickets, don't you.
We had a lot of good concerts coming. Mary Jay's coming.
We found out yesterday that Charlie Wilson is coming, and

(00:41):
he's not coming alone. It's the Cookout, So it's him,
it's Babyface, it's ld Barge, and it is Casey Haley.
That's gonna be a good concert October the twelfth, and
we've been given away tickets and we're gonna be giving
away some tickets, so y'all got to make sure that
you stay with us, so you can get the hook
up on them. Ticket to Charlie Wilson, wouldn't you like

(01:02):
to go see him? Wouldn't you like to go see
that concert? That's gonna be a show? And then I
heard us playing commercial yesterday. The Queen's are coming. Okay,
Shaka Gladys Patty. I'm missing somebody. Stephanie Mills, Yeah, they're coming.

(01:22):
I think Mary Jay's on the way, the Isisley Brothers,
they're coming with Keith Sweat, who else. It's probably a
lot of other shows that I'm missing that's coming to town.
But Chris Brown is one of those people. He's coming too,
to the Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium. Okay. I don't know

(01:42):
how many seats it has, but I think he's got
a lot of them. I'm just like, as can Chris
Brown fill that place up? They're probably, I'm thinking, gonna
come from all over the place. They probably won't, just
cause I don't know where all he's doing concerts, but
I think they gonna come from everywhere. They won't come
from everywhere to come see that one, especially if it's

(02:04):
gonna be the Simmons Bank Liberty Stadums. That's a big place. Y'all,
it's a big place to do a concert. So hey,
But anyway, Bobby Brown said that Chris Brown, not Ussher,
not Usher, not Beyonce. He said that Chris Brown is

(02:24):
the closest thing to Michael Jackson. Right now. What do
y'all think about that? Hmm, that's what he says, y'all. Also,
I'm Chris Brown the closest thing since Michael Jackson. I mean,
I can see that Chris Brown is talented. Usher's talented.

(02:50):
They're both selling out shows, and I think right now
Chris Brown might actually be selling But I don't know.
I don't know. But to you, would you say is
Chris Brown or would you say it's Usha? I I

(03:11):
love Chris Brown. That's a tough one. That's a tough
one for me. So I don't know. But anyway, that's
what he said. I just thought, I, you know, talk
to you about it. So, so, Gail King went up
in space, and Gail right now is a little bit
upset because people are calling her mission a ride, and
so it made me want to ask you guys, because

(03:34):
a lot of people and celebrities are now saying that
the Blue Origin space flight, it's so much money to
go to space, and there's a lot of people who
can't even afford eggs. People are big mad. They said
it was a waste of money. Now Gail kink said,

(03:57):
don't call this, you know, a ride. This was a mission.
They're learning things every time they go up. But I
mean they were only in space what for eleven minutes?
And I don't know what the purpose of it was,
but I imagine there are people. I know that people

(04:17):
have bought their tickets to go to Mars. You know
people have that. Hey, that's been that's been talked for
a long time. So people already buying them tickets. Jeff
Bezos and Elon Musk they trying their best. They're trying
their best to get us to Mars. They trying their
best to figure out another place for people to live

(04:38):
other than down here. People don't want to be down here.
What in the world. They want to get away from us, far,
far far away. Evidently I don't know. Gail King, she's
a good one. She can go up Dallas. You want to,

(04:58):
You ain't get I ain't going. I ain't going to
remember that flight, I mean not flight, but you remember
that that that under underwater trips that they took down
and they didn't make I ain't gonna be able to
do it. Let me send some love up to the
folks over at MLGW, because I see they had to

(05:19):
leave the office because of a foul odor, forcing evacuation
over there, downtown Community office on today as a matter
of fact. So hopefully everything is okay. Eleven eleven E
Shelby Drive. Hopefully everything is okay over there, y'all all right,
check them. I'm checking on y'all over there, the people
that work over there at that office. The office closed early.

(05:40):
MLGW urges customers who need in person assistance to visit
the white Haven and Millington locations. Yeah. So, like said,
hopefully y'all okay, checking in on y'all in that area.
Let me know, let me know, let me know. Okay.
So we've been hearing the talk about what happened over
at Sheffield High School for quite some time because we

(06:02):
know that these you know, the kids walked up, they
walked out, they protested April the first and no it
was not April fools. The kids protested over at Sheffield
High School. So I learned today that Memphis Shelby County Schools.

(06:24):
The district temporarily reassigned their high school principal over there
in the wake of the student protest. You guys, Yeah,
Sheffield High School principal doctor Melanie Black. She's been temporarily
reassigned to the Central Office. In that role, doctor Black
is assisting with various tasks, including academic planning. According to MSCs,

(06:48):
the move comes weeks after students protested yeah, policies and
leadership at that school for two days April first and second.
More than thirty students gathered outside of that school in
pro test, and they said it was because they didn't
they didn't like what was going on, you know, not
a lot of teachers. They said the principal was a
problem to them. They wanted some changes. At first, they

(07:10):
said they were going to protest until and I don't
know if they were still protesting, but basically they were,
like I said, frustrated with the principal and staff. According
to students, there have been issues including limited restroom access.
They had a time for them kids to go to
the bathroom, unfair punishment for tardiness, excessive suspensions, and long

(07:35):
lines for metal detectors. Well, you don't need them lines
for the metal detectors. Y'all complain about it all you want. Uh,
they ain't letting them. They ain't letting that go. Too
much happening. I saw where the shooting, the school shooting
happened in Texas yesterday. Y'all see that. I believe the

(07:56):
suspect was shot in the leg one of the kids. Yeah,
you got to go through. The metal detections got him
at school. Y'all went to go through that. You just
gone and stay in line and go to school. Okay.
So for those of you that I've heard about that
and you're vested in what's happening over at Sheffield High
School or do you agree with them removing or reassigning

(08:21):
the high school principal over there temporarily? Yeah, happened to day.
That's what else. That's the word. Yeah, kids get fed
up sometimes, don't. They got a letter here, y'all try
to help this lady out, if you like. My husband

(08:43):
recently confessed that he cheated on me, my lord during
our bachelor party trip. I am at a loss and
don't even know what to think. They've been together for
six years. Okay. They got married in November twenty twenty four.
He went on his bachelor party trip in August of
twenty twenty four, and he confessed the same weekend that he,

(09:06):
you know that had that bachelor party trip. He yeah,
had relations with another woman. That's what he said.

Speaker 2 (09:13):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (09:14):
She said she's upset. First off, she just found out
she's pregnant and she has not told him. Uh, but
she's bothered because he took a condom on that trip.
She does know that, and he had relations. Same night,
he messages her telling her, I'm so glad you're not
a slut. Fellas, if you're gonna miss, if you gonna you,

(09:45):
I shouldn't even have to tell you this. Maybe maybe
some people don't know. If you're gonna message your wife
and give her a compliment, don't don't say that. I'm
so glad you're not a slut. He messages message that
door of the night before they got married. You know.
So now she's looking back over because he just confessed.
You know, she just found out, and at any rate,

(10:07):
it's become a pretty terrible situation. She's seven weeks pregnant
and scared. She doesn't want to be single. She said,
I don't want to have to start my life over.
I love this man. We've been together for six years.
I want to make things right, but I'm scared that
he's going to do it again. She said. He's been
telling her that he isn't going to do it again.
I don't know what this man expected. You tell your

(10:29):
wife you cheated on her, and you got to give
her time to process it, you know what I'm saying.
And she's so, she's been asking him questions. They celebrated Christmas,
you know, together, and she she mentioned it to him
and just you know, not the you know, she ain't
told him about the baby. But you know, she's like,

(10:49):
is this going to happen again? Because she's nervous. She's
scared now, well, he said, uh, he was angry. This
is just terrible. Young. He ends up getting upset with her,
calling her a bad name and kind of shoving her
a little bit. What should she do? She says, she
doesn't have any role models right now, and she didn't

(11:14):
have anybody to look up to, and she know it
sounds terrible. Says she's just looking for advice and she
doesn't know what to do. So if you want to
hit me up and help her out, talk to me
today about anything. We're talking about whatever you got? Okay,
you already nine one five three five, nine three four

(11:35):
two eight hundred five zero three nine three four two
eight three three five three five nine three four two.
Let me get to these phones.

Speaker 3 (11:42):
WD I A hello, oh wow boy, as she was saved.

Speaker 4 (11:49):
Number one.

Speaker 3 (11:50):
Huh hey, number one? Who'll sing that.

Speaker 5 (11:52):
Song to your intro?

Speaker 1 (11:54):
That's al Capone?

Speaker 5 (11:57):
Al capone.

Speaker 6 (11:58):
I like when he says, oh four.

Speaker 2 (12:00):
Me, what's up?

Speaker 3 (12:02):
I love that. Be honest with you. I love your intromon.
If you're out there listening, hey, saw me quick. Good
afternoon to you.

Speaker 2 (12:11):
You'll call.

Speaker 1 (12:13):
You.

Speaker 3 (12:15):
Thank you for In the words of the late Great
adverts present Bigger very much, hey check it out.

Speaker 5 (12:22):
Let me say this here.

Speaker 3 (12:24):
Leave Gail King alone, not saying you Gail King looks
so good in that blue.

Speaker 2 (12:30):
Suit that she had on, And tell me what person
wouldn't be kind of nervous.

Speaker 3 (12:35):
I don't like to fly. I drive mostly everywhere I go.
In the words of Steve Sydney, what's up, Steve Sydney,
nine percent of the places I go in the United States,
I drive to it. I don't care if it's from
Memphis and California.

Speaker 1 (12:48):
And don't you think that most older people would rather
are people of a certain age would rather drive than fly.

Speaker 3 (12:56):
Uh well, I can't speak for nobody else though, I
can only speak for me, but me, I would rather
get in the car if I have to drive from
here to California Washington State, I would have no issue.

Speaker 2 (13:06):
I just helped fear.

Speaker 3 (13:07):
And this is the weird thing. I was in the
Air Force for eight.

Speaker 2 (13:10):
Years and flew all over the place.

Speaker 3 (13:13):
Loved it until I took a commercial flight and it
changed my mind about flying. I do fly, but most
of the times that when I do flot, the first
thing I tell the flight attending that they bring me
three shots of either Jack or Crown and a spike
because I want to be knocked out when I when
I'm on that plane. So if anything happened, I don't
want to know nothing about it but jail King and Jessin.

(13:34):
But you know what, I'm not to Jail King was
wasn't the only person on that on that shuttle that
was nervous about it. I mean, how expression show?

Speaker 7 (13:43):
You know?

Speaker 1 (13:44):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (13:44):
So I don't know what they throw throwing that up
at her? I mean because there were four other women.

Speaker 1 (13:49):
There were five five other women, five other.

Speaker 3 (13:51):
Women, okay, five other women on that ship just as
well as she was. And and once she got up
there and she you know, she did the best that
she could. But I'm not gonna throw Gail King underneath
the bottom out of all the five women that were
on that ship. I think that she lives the best
in that that uniform. The let things Stormy, that I'm

(14:15):
getting married and I'm shafed for example, you and I
I'm used to or not for an example, and I'm
going out on my bachelor party, Stormy, that's my opportunity
to go ahead and get my last hurrah out. Once
I've done there, that's it, because now I'm getting ready
to dedicate the rest of my time, the rest of
my life. Would you and the same thing with her

(14:37):
If she wants to go out there and and give
her last hurrah, what what? I'm not going to sit
up there because this is it because once we commit
and go down that out, that's the end of that story.
So I cannot throw this guy underneath the bus, or
she should throw this guy underneath the bus. Anytime that
you ain't having a bachelor party where it be a
woman women having a bachelor rent partner the men, that

(14:59):
is one of the founding things that you do.

Speaker 2 (15:02):
Get that out of your system. You're supposed to anyway.
So I'm not going to throw him under the bus.

Speaker 3 (15:08):
And she said neither. Now I will say this and
be pushing on you and showing you.

Speaker 2 (15:12):
Now that's a different scenario.

Speaker 6 (15:14):
Yeah, right there.

Speaker 2 (15:18):
You need to stop that right there, right now. But
don't put yourself in the arm's weight.

Speaker 3 (15:23):
And I found out this stormy when a person who
loves him to argue in that type of lifestyle, the
best thing for you to do is not to say anything.

Speaker 2 (15:33):
But I know women, they have to have the last word.

Speaker 3 (15:36):
And knowing her, she's a woman, she's gonna say whatever
she's got to say back at him.

Speaker 2 (15:41):
But I always, like I told my daughter, say, if
you ever get into confrontation.

Speaker 3 (15:44):
Especially a verbal conversation, shut up, don't say anything, just
let it go because you never know at to split
up a second, somebody might want to snap, and no
better snap on my daughter. I'm going to be.

Speaker 2 (16:00):
Making starvings.

Speaker 3 (16:01):
Always don't want you and everyone have a beautiful, blessed,
safe and healthy day.

Speaker 1 (16:05):
Take care all right, thank you?

Speaker 7 (16:06):
You too.

Speaker 1 (16:07):
Yeah, Gail King is like, why y'all so mad?

Speaker 8 (16:10):
And me?

Speaker 1 (16:11):
This is what bothers me, because I've certainly read some
of the things online coming from people that I know
that I like, that I consider friends. And this is
what I would say to that.

Speaker 9 (16:23):
Space is not an either or, it's a both and,
And because you do something in space doesn't mean you're
taking anything.

Speaker 1 (16:30):
Away from Earth. Basically, she's saying, I leave you alone.
W D I A hello, Tommy?

Speaker 10 (16:40):
How are you doing to day?

Speaker 1 (16:41):
Hey, mister Henry Lee. How you doing?

Speaker 10 (16:44):
Oh I'm doing good good.

Speaker 1 (16:47):
I'm so glad to hear from you. It's been a minute.
How are you doing?

Speaker 4 (16:52):
You have to you?

Speaker 10 (16:54):
I got to tell you something myself, something about your
old Saturday. I got to tell you about minute.

Speaker 6 (17:00):
Okay, let me tell you.

Speaker 9 (17:02):
Uh.

Speaker 10 (17:03):
Prince Charles is right on the money about Gail King.
She looked good to me too.

Speaker 1 (17:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (17:12):
He he do good.

Speaker 3 (17:16):
Yeah he got he got good ass. That's the same
way I feel.

Speaker 1 (17:21):
So you try to tell me that in that blue
jumpsuit you thought Gail King was looking modified.

Speaker 3 (17:27):
Oh yes, she looked real good to me.

Speaker 10 (17:30):
I'd be willing to buy her chocolate doughnuts.

Speaker 1 (17:33):
Sometimes. Yeah, oh wonderful.

Speaker 7 (17:37):
Uh.

Speaker 10 (17:40):
I'm sitting here eating me old catch fish please right now.
But I was at the barber shop.

Speaker 8 (17:46):
Said, and uh one of the ladies in the beauty shop.

Speaker 10 (17:51):
The barbershop in beauty shop together and uh, one of
the lady showed me a picture you, and I said, man,
look at the f you.

Speaker 2 (18:02):
Uh.

Speaker 8 (18:04):
She pulled up a picture you.

Speaker 10 (18:05):
Got on the black look like a black hair pit.

Speaker 11 (18:11):
And uh, she said, you lo.

Speaker 3 (18:14):
In Arkansas, mister Hemmerlee.

Speaker 1 (18:18):
That was on Sunday. I was in Arkansas.

Speaker 9 (18:21):
Uh.

Speaker 10 (18:22):
Oh well, yes, she she said you.

Speaker 3 (18:25):
She showed me a picture. I said, I a good
looking woman.

Speaker 10 (18:28):
I didn't I ain't knowed you look like that, Miss Bomay.

Speaker 11 (18:36):
Yeah, I had.

Speaker 3 (18:37):
I had a calling.

Speaker 10 (18:38):
I had a call and tell you that.

Speaker 1 (18:40):
But you sure look good.

Speaker 8 (18:41):
And I'll tell you what you look You look just
as sweet as.

Speaker 1 (18:47):
A push up pump bible.

Speaker 6 (18:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 10 (18:54):
I gonna tell I've been talking to you, but I
ain't know what you look like.

Speaker 1 (18:59):
Oh my goodness.

Speaker 3 (19:01):
Yeah, so yeah, you you all right?

Speaker 6 (19:05):
But now show me I.

Speaker 11 (19:09):
Uh huh.

Speaker 1 (19:11):
And thank you, mister Henrily. I appreciate that compliment. Thank you.

Speaker 6 (19:14):
Oh yeah, yeah, that's a good picture.

Speaker 3 (19:18):
Uh man.

Speaker 10 (19:19):
I now, I don't don't get me wrong.

Speaker 6 (19:21):
Now, I still like miss nurse and you know I still.

Speaker 8 (19:25):
Think she's freaked you now.

Speaker 3 (19:28):
And hitting the hello to her and mister Gregg.

Speaker 1 (19:34):
Well that's mighty nice of you.

Speaker 8 (19:37):
Well you know, I don't call that often.

Speaker 3 (19:41):
Yeah, but when I do, I just tell you what
I'm thinking. Mouth, that's all.

Speaker 1 (19:46):
Well, I appreciate you. You sure are keeping up with us.
That is so nice.

Speaker 8 (19:50):
Yeah, your family, now, I don't get yeah, well that's
all right.

Speaker 10 (19:55):
I don't get to call much, but I listened. Like
I said, I've listen to you all the time.

Speaker 1 (20:00):
Thank you.

Speaker 10 (20:03):
And I ain't gonna hold the line, but yeah you
tell old uh uh uh uh christ Charles, Yes, the
deal is a.

Speaker 3 (20:11):
Good looking woman.

Speaker 10 (20:16):
Yeah, all right, story hold the line.

Speaker 8 (20:20):
But I just wanted to call and tell you that.
All right, thank you another time.

Speaker 1 (20:25):
Yes, sir, thank you so much for calling. Recall again. Okay,
all right, bye bye, push up popsicle w D I
A hello, what's going on, Clyde?

Speaker 12 (20:45):
I take on the so uh well they the old guy,
he has me tick of the deal.

Speaker 11 (20:52):
He have me to deal.

Speaker 12 (20:55):
I tell you, I saw you in that black dress
too storm. I called myself trying to look while I
was driving all was almost off the roads or keep
the police wasn't riding behind me because I have been gone.
So you know, Chris Brown, he brings the women.

Speaker 1 (21:17):
Now oh yeah, okay.

Speaker 5 (21:20):
He brings the women.

Speaker 13 (21:21):
He was.

Speaker 12 (21:21):
He's about the closest thing to Michael Jackson. Bors drawing
a crowd, do.

Speaker 2 (21:25):
You think so?

Speaker 3 (21:27):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (21:28):
Okay, yeah, do a young cat.

Speaker 12 (21:31):
And then he ain't with all that old You know
how these rappers be into it and stuff. Yeah, he's
I like, because he he don't this stuff gonna be
like that. Watching my girl, a little rider doing a
concert and uh, she had to almost stop her concert.

Speaker 1 (21:49):
Yeah, because some girls was fighting an audience.

Speaker 12 (21:51):
Yeah, yeah, they're not how to control himself. And that
young lady that said old man cheated on his things.

Speaker 3 (22:00):
M hmm.

Speaker 12 (22:01):
You know, first of all, I don't know why he
told her that he must be tired of or something,
because some things you take to your grades, though you
don't tell every.

Speaker 1 (22:10):
Time, and you know because that night, you know you.
I think some people think that it's a given that
that might happen, especially if you don't talk about it.
But I think a lot of you know what I'm saying.
So is he wrong for telling them?

Speaker 2 (22:30):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (22:31):
Mm yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 12 (22:34):
No man gonna on his backs of night, whether whether
he do something or not, He ain't gonna go home
and and and and tell tell, tell his.

Speaker 5 (22:42):
Wife or his feet.

Speaker 8 (22:43):
I say that he cut up on his wear, he
cut up on the basket night.

Speaker 1 (22:48):
No, no, they don't do nothing like that. Mm hmm.

Speaker 12 (22:51):
You see, first of all, she don't need to be
with him anyway, because you already say he calls out
a name and push her.

Speaker 3 (22:58):
Around and stuff. See, he's controlling in the abusive m
and she needs.

Speaker 12 (23:03):
To get out of that relationship as quick as possible.

Speaker 6 (23:07):
Yeah, you know, whether you.

Speaker 12 (23:10):
Do telling you married or what, but you need to
get up out of their relationship because sooner or later
he gonna hurt you. And he's telling you that because
he don't respect you. This is why he told her
that what he had did the thing, He ain't got
no respect for her. Wow, because I would have.

Speaker 1 (23:24):
Never did that.

Speaker 8 (23:25):
Stung. Don't hate to hear this, thom.

Speaker 1 (23:28):
You take your all right, Clyde, thank you so much.
I appreciate you calling in all right, WD.

Speaker 4 (23:33):
I a Hello, Hey, Scharman, it's is married. It's heard
you today.

Speaker 1 (23:37):
He married it. I'm good. How you doing girl, He's
going great, man Clyde.

Speaker 4 (23:43):
He nailed it again today.

Speaker 3 (23:44):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (23:45):
I asked myself, like, why wouldn't he tell her.

Speaker 6 (23:47):
That on the day before marriage?

Speaker 4 (23:49):
Two reasons why, Stormy. One is he wants her to
call it off.

Speaker 1 (23:53):
No, no, no, they are married.

Speaker 4 (23:55):
He told her that I'm married.

Speaker 1 (23:57):
Yeah, he told her that this year. They got married
last year. But they've been together for six years.

Speaker 4 (24:05):
Man, that makes now, that makes absolutely no sense. I
thought he told her that before they got married, and
she was so they've been married a year and then
you tell.

Speaker 1 (24:12):
Her that, yeah, and now she's pregnant and she's like,
I don't know what to do because she hadn't told him.

Speaker 4 (24:20):
Oh man, Oh she hadn't come to be pregnant yet.

Speaker 5 (24:23):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (24:24):
Wow, Now she's in the tooker right now.

Speaker 6 (24:26):
I'm not have to think about this from girl.

Speaker 4 (24:27):
Because when I give you advice, you better take it
like it.

Speaker 6 (24:29):
Like it's coming from God. I'm telling I'm I'm gonna
be right about it.

Speaker 4 (24:32):
But just old type for a second. Don't do nothing.

Speaker 3 (24:34):
Let me come back to you marrown difference.

Speaker 4 (24:36):
But Stormy, you said something about another lady who got
choked out. Okay, right, you said her boyfriend choked her
to the point where she was unconscious. And the whole
thing I heard was you said, she said she ain't
going back. Whatever you tell these women something. I say
this all the time, Prince Hips, you might open your
ears wid you might remember difference sometimes, Storman, you got

(24:56):
to let.

Speaker 5 (24:57):
These men come back.

Speaker 4 (24:57):
You got to let them back. She always if a
man choked you enough to where you pass out, he
will kill you.

Speaker 3 (25:04):
They just call.

Speaker 4 (25:04):
They just call the way it is, he will kill you,
right yeah, okay, So and if I know you're gonna
kill me, why would I.

Speaker 3 (25:11):
Not want you back?

Speaker 1 (25:13):
Please come back.

Speaker 14 (25:14):
I want you to try this one more time, because
the next time you trying.

Speaker 3 (25:18):
Donna never have to worry about you trying it no more.
And y'all read between the lines or what I said.

Speaker 4 (25:22):
I didn't start her, and I said exactly what I mean.
I'm gonna let you back in, and I'm going home
like double hockey stick that you again, because I need
my freedom. I don't need to walk to it.

Speaker 15 (25:33):
My back where I go.

Speaker 4 (25:33):
I got a soccer somebody come into my job, somebody
following me. I ain't gonna have to worry about this.

Speaker 3 (25:40):
Let me set food.

Speaker 14 (25:41):
I'm going to sleep.

Speaker 4 (25:42):
I'm gonna make sure you real good one last time.

Speaker 1 (25:45):
Thank y'all for let me thank you, Meredith. Oh yeah,
I don't know if he's gonna come back because he's
going to jail. Yeah, Quadarius, Quadarius Davis, I believe it
is his name, football player and uh yeah, he he's
They arrested him this past Saturday for choking his girlfriend
out in the videos gone viral all over social media

(26:08):
is everywhere. Listen, we're gonna come back and we're gonna talk.
Lady d Captain Norman, y'all hang around. Uh, we're gonna
come back and talk. And then I got your emails.
I'm gonna read them when we come back. And ladies,
let me tell you right now, those of you that
are shopping at Sheen and what's the other one. It's

(26:31):
another one she and Timu and get ready because they've
already said, honey, they've been to raise them prices. Geen
Gen announced the price adjustments, I mean at the tariffs.
Mm hmm. They're gonna change their prices. So if you've
been chopping over there, you might want to shop right
now because tomorrow, yesterday's price or today's price won't be

(26:58):
tomorrow's price because they're going up. Yeah, that's what they said.
And for those of you that wear synthetic wigs and
even you know, the virgin hair wigs, beauty supply owners,
they say the tariff spike could potentially raise the price
of a hundred dollars wig to two hundred year ladies,

(27:23):
Lord have mercy because you know some of those synthetic wigs.
You can buy those wigs for like what maybe sixteen dollars,
and they're talking about the increase could be one hundred dollars.
So a synthetic wig that you might be able to
wear for one good week might cost you one hundred
and sound dollars. You might pay sixteen twenty thirty now,

(27:48):
but it's gonna be one hundred dollars more than that.
That's what beauty supply owners are saying. These tariffs about
about to get us. Let me see, and somebody else
says that products and accessories arrange anywhere from twenty to
four hundred dollars in that you know, the customers include
people who want to experiment with new looks and people
with health issues. So just think about that. So it's

(28:09):
not just gonna affect the regular ones of those. It's
gonna it's gonna affect people who really really do need wigs,
like I mean, thankfully we gave a lot of wigs
away at Sister strud I think what over a thousand
and and you know, because some people can't afford to
go by these wigs and now they won't really won't
be able to afford them. Wo price adjustments, they comment.

(28:36):
Just def why let me go back to the phone.
See what y'all talking about? W D I A hello, Okay,
well you hold on a second. I'm gonna go to
these emails real quick. Get those out of the way.
Uh let's see. Uh Chris Brown just toured with UH
toward Africa and had sold out shows. He cried because

(28:57):
he got so much love. Uh No, he says, no clarified,
stormy white folks want to get away from us. I
truly hope they find a way to populate Mars. I
will help them pack a world of their own. Is
the mission? You think that's what it is? He also says,
tell her to take it to the Lord in prayer,

(29:18):
leave it to Jesus. Talking about the young lady having
problems with her, you know her man this African consultants,
he says, But Stormy isn't earth in space. I thought
we were already suspended in space. We are, Yeah, come on,
talk to talk, don't come on African consultants. Look at you.

(29:39):
Miss Parker says, hey, Stormy, Hey, why are people upset
about how other people spend their money? I don't think
they asked anybody to help them with that trip? Loving,
loving your show. Thank you. She also says, mine the
business that pays the business and Miss Town's hey, girls,
she's high. Stormy has me rolling. My favorite callers are

(30:02):
Clyde Seer, Michael Meredith and sweet funny Lady p about
your letter today. That lady needs to think hard about things.
He has cheated, called her out of her name, and
put his hands on her. No, ma'am, time for a change.
Pushing me is a no.

Speaker 11 (30:19):
Go.

Speaker 1 (30:20):
Keep up the great show. Thank you so much. Let
me go back to the phones. Uh w d I
A hello, Hello day lady. Do how's it going?

Speaker 5 (30:32):
Anything is going? Anything is going?

Speaker 3 (30:37):
What's with?

Speaker 5 (30:38):
No children?

Speaker 15 (30:39):
Now?

Speaker 5 (30:41):
Just what means.

Speaker 13 (30:44):
Who ever go over there, they better be ready to
do with those children. You know, I understand, you know
young people won't to send a message.

Speaker 3 (30:54):
But the message they said, and they said every day
we ain't had us on a new clause.

Speaker 5 (31:01):
In other words, if.

Speaker 13 (31:04):
You don't do what we say do, we didn't have
that going on in school. You went in the bathroom,
it wasn't no time. And now I'm not saying that
some of the.

Speaker 1 (31:15):
Stuff, but they said the you're talking about over at
Sheffield High School.

Speaker 6 (31:19):
Right damn.

Speaker 13 (31:21):
They said, if you come over here and you don't
do basis what we say do, we won't walk out
and we don't have you with move. That's that's basis
of message they sin.

Speaker 5 (31:36):
Running things now is the messas they sin.

Speaker 1 (31:40):
But you don't, you don't think some of the things
that the principal black was doing was excessive. Lady d
I mean they only you know having how how can
you tell your body when it needs to use the bathroom?
And I don't know about you, but but i've heard
this is what I heard that you shouldn't hold.

Speaker 13 (31:58):
So what now, I said, Yeah, in the streets or
wherever you got a farm at the end of the
day's storm at Then at the end of the day,
unless you got a job where you can go to
the bathroom when you get ready, it got you work
from home. You can't just turn your computer off and said, well,

(32:21):
my attack men, go to the bathroom. If you drive
it in your car and you pull up at the
red light and you working on a job, you got twenty.

Speaker 3 (32:31):
Minutes to get back to work.

Speaker 13 (32:33):
You got to use the restaurant right there. Your manager whoever,
she's going to clock you because you late you right,
We know we have no control over there.

Speaker 1 (32:44):
But at the end of the day again.

Speaker 5 (32:49):
They said a message that the message.

Speaker 6 (32:52):
They said, okay't do no matter how to use the bathroom.

Speaker 13 (32:57):
I don't mean no harmstormers, but something stuff we got
do nobody how to use the bathroom.

Speaker 5 (33:04):
The whole time they planning.

Speaker 1 (33:05):
To walk out, and they playing it for two days.

Speaker 13 (33:09):
See what got to they passed these twodre Now, don't
get me wrong, I understand some stuff is over the hell,
but didn't knowbody lady gets old.

Speaker 1 (33:23):
We watch that. You know, you don't know if they
if anybody's you know, didn't you know what I'm saying,
You don't know if they are, if they're okay, Stormy.

Speaker 5 (33:34):
When they walked out of giveing.

Speaker 8 (33:37):
Young people, I get it.

Speaker 13 (33:40):
They want to be here, but it's the way we
do everything because they realized their teacher. Again, storm it's
gonna just like the school boards fighting. See, somebody's gonna
have to have some sins.

Speaker 1 (33:54):
I got your lady, d now you right about that? Yeah,
and thank you so much for calling. And then let
me tell you something. You can't hold your bladderm hold
it you want to see? Don't you get a uti?
Do you want one? I don't wd I a low.
Oh captain, how you doing?

Speaker 15 (34:16):
I don't know that thing.

Speaker 5 (34:17):
I'm doing well right, So I appreciate your asking.

Speaker 15 (34:20):
Oh, happy Holy Week to you as well.

Speaker 1 (34:24):
Yeah, that's the way.

Speaker 16 (34:26):
Happy Easter, good pride all y'all celebrating already. Anyway, you
asked the question yesterday about the young folk. How back
in your day y'all gave out trophies to everybody. I've
been guilted that because I did in the nineties and
two thousand and I stuck and everybody got mad at me.

Speaker 5 (34:44):
And so I still believe.

Speaker 16 (34:46):
I asked you a question, and I said the first
one to answer this question. What was doctor King's real name?

Speaker 5 (34:52):
What was he born with?

Speaker 16 (34:53):
And nobody answered me? And then one child somebody whispered, and.

Speaker 15 (34:56):
Tell what it is?

Speaker 5 (34:57):
They come get the pride. I still they cheated, get it,
but they got it.

Speaker 16 (35:01):
So I'm praising the word and said, I still believe
you need to earn whatever you get.

Speaker 15 (35:06):
Don't be expecting somebody to give it.

Speaker 16 (35:08):
You didn't give us nothing where it's the constellation practice
we played the game.

Speaker 5 (35:12):
I was in the store and I did that with children.
The lady told me her son was real smart, and
I said, he's so smart. Wow. I said, wow. I
gotta deal with him. So I started asking.

Speaker 15 (35:21):
I said what school you go to?

Speaker 2 (35:22):
He said, I went to Booker T.

Speaker 5 (35:23):
Washington High School? And I said, good, tell me what
the she is Booker T.

Speaker 16 (35:26):
Washington standpoint and I'll give you ten dollars. People looking
at him and said, don't get ten dollars.

Speaker 3 (35:31):
Your boy.

Speaker 5 (35:31):
He couldn't answer me. He just stared. He didn't say nothing.
And I said, how to go on with you?

Speaker 15 (35:35):
You went to Booker T.

Speaker 5 (35:36):
Washington High School, the old one on the new one?
What does the tea stand for it?

Speaker 16 (35:40):
I'll give you some money, and they standing there said,
you're supposed to give it to me anyway, So I
agree with you. And I supposed to give away money.

Speaker 5 (35:46):
Just because somebody looks.

Speaker 15 (35:47):
Do it whatever. So you were saying that, yes there
whether young people.

Speaker 16 (35:51):
Today, if you got a chest pain or you at
home whatever, they're going to leave you they don't have
a thing, or drop you off and stay with you
because they may have a warn out, they might have
anything going on.

Speaker 15 (36:01):
While they dropped the boy off yesterday.

Speaker 3 (36:02):
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (36:03):
And it takes a fool to tell his wife his past.

Speaker 15 (36:07):
You got to be a fool of a man, fool
of a woman to tell you a fact. If she
talked about she used to be a stripper at the club,
she's not supose tenant.

Speaker 3 (36:14):
Whatever it is.

Speaker 15 (36:15):
Certain things you just don't tell.

Speaker 16 (36:16):
What Stormy did to raise her children, or whatever you did,
who you went with, whatever, And you still see the
person you said.

Speaker 5 (36:23):
Me and Rick James together, But you don't tell everybody.

Speaker 16 (36:26):
And freaking man whatever, you don't tell everybody you did this,
that and the other. But the women today they get
emotional Abouty.

Speaker 5 (36:32):
But he went too far putting his hands on it.

Speaker 16 (36:34):
Because I still say, if that's my daughter or my
niece whoever, I'm gonna talk to him about it the first.

Speaker 5 (36:39):
Time because this shitn't never happened again.

Speaker 16 (36:41):
Right, But like Grandma, Grandma stayed with the said I've
been married fifty years, but you don't know the abuse
she took doing those fifty years, all the stepping out
he did during those fifty years. She's saying, we celebrated
fifty years of marriage. So I'm agreeing with Clyde on it.

Speaker 15 (36:55):
I'm like married it. I hate to agree with Donald Trump.

Speaker 5 (36:58):
People with Clyde got it right.

Speaker 16 (37:01):
It's tired for her to separate herself and see where
it's going as well to see a.

Speaker 15 (37:05):
Minister, counselor all that. But you can tell me about
that's going to be a child if it's.

Speaker 16 (37:08):
Going that way, because he might have denied and go
to court fight it anyway. You're a guy like that,
the talent idiot, and so we expect him to do
something anything because he put his hands.

Speaker 15 (37:17):
On your daughter and my sister whoever.

Speaker 5 (37:19):
You got a problem already, and she's scared because she
don't have a man.

Speaker 15 (37:23):
To go to.

Speaker 5 (37:24):
She's scared, but she's tried for her to take a walk.

Speaker 16 (37:26):
I packed some things up while he's done, and get
out of there before.

Speaker 5 (37:30):
He hurt her.

Speaker 1 (37:30):
And she doesn't want to be alone, though, captain. And
you know she doesn't want to be.

Speaker 8 (37:33):
Alone, and she's got to be alone with to die in.

Speaker 15 (37:37):
Okay, let me expect quickly say that.

Speaker 16 (37:39):
BEB Johnson and BEV used to put this on the
air every now and then, especially around holiday. Here's a
thing called my husband or my man really loves me.
It was a poem or something if you can get
that from bell player. It's the thing with the woman
said he does because he me in my eye, he
loved me.

Speaker 3 (37:55):
He did this, he loved me.

Speaker 15 (37:56):
He stepped out and he.

Speaker 8 (37:57):
Think gone all night.

Speaker 4 (37:58):
He loved me.

Speaker 1 (37:58):
I got your, Captain, I got you. You know what
I I Yeah, that sounds like something else. Let me
tell you something though, I think when it comes to
relationships something like that. If you a woman's got to
see fellas, she got to see a change in your heart.
If you you or you really don't want the relationship.

(38:24):
If you you you can't confess it and then get
mad because we mad. You know what I'm saying, It's
got to be a change somewhere. You gotta you. You
have to w d I a hello.

Speaker 3 (38:40):
Yes, I'd like to speak with a sweet popsicle.

Speaker 4 (38:47):
Man.

Speaker 5 (38:48):
Is this her?

Speaker 15 (38:50):
Missus Beverly.

Speaker 11 (38:51):
I'm sorry, I'm so.

Speaker 8 (38:58):
Handy, laid eyes on you.

Speaker 6 (39:00):
Then he just left for miss bed.

Speaker 1 (39:01):
Oh my goodness. Now he said he's he still got
eyes full.

Speaker 11 (39:06):
Well, he let us stay on with the other.

Speaker 3 (39:08):
He's all you.

Speaker 1 (39:11):
Push up man, that man, that man.

Speaker 11 (39:14):
No, he took me and he said, I'll make give
me a cirt and listen he I'm gonna give you
some to my house. That certain, I'm gonna give me
a certain We push up on a pump.

Speaker 1 (39:24):
Cycle, somebody said, mister Heneryly loved storm old school push
up popsacle.

Speaker 3 (39:32):
You know what I was riding.

Speaker 6 (39:34):
I was riding trying to visualize what would a tea
shirt looks like.

Speaker 11 (39:36):
We would to push up? Boy, I kill you anyway,
Since you know what I was listening, Her friend Charles
mentioned about how it will be okay on that first night,
just see what you do. I'm gonna tell you something.
I would be very careful on him because some of
them from some of those back to night, some of
those first night may turning to the rest of that

(39:57):
other person's like, yes, yes, so I wouldn't do either
with that one because that person may enjoy something you
ain't been putting down.

Speaker 3 (40:05):
And you may be out of love mmmm.

Speaker 11 (40:08):
Or you may you ain't find some things happening.

Speaker 3 (40:10):
Go and see that bachelor of the party hadn't ending it.

Speaker 1 (40:14):
So, mister Norman, what do you think because okay, because
because okay, I mean, just think about that. Think about this.
The reason why men started doing the bachelor parties and
women started doing the bachelor red parties. As far as
I know now, I could be wrong, but all my
life I've known about bachelor parties, bachelored parties, and usually

(40:34):
those are the knights when they say you can sole
your royal oaths and get away with it, okay, and you.

Speaker 11 (40:42):
Know, and people have done that, and I'm not Hey.

Speaker 1 (40:46):
I'm not co signing on. I'm not saying young folks,
don't don't do this now because just because they did it,
then on me, you got to do it now. But
but but but that's the way. And I know a
lot of people that have stopped doing traditional bachelor's parties
and bachelorettes parties. You know, what I'm saying, But that
was why they were doing it.

Speaker 13 (41:07):
Am I right?

Speaker 1 (41:08):
Am I wrong?

Speaker 2 (41:09):
Oh?

Speaker 11 (41:09):
No, no, No, you're right, And I gut. I tell
you one thing is probably has not been done. And
I guarantee you may find some real fections this if
if somebody decided to go back and research how many
they was born during that time, would be amazed.

Speaker 1 (41:23):
Wow.

Speaker 11 (41:24):
And some of them weren't just the brides in the groom,
many other people who came along during those times. I
mean a lot of things happened. I remember a lot
of them, you know, I've been to a lot of them,
and I saw some things and knew some things that
I thought, Wow, Yeah, if that person only knew what
was going on, that marriage wouldn't happen. It would not happen.

Speaker 13 (41:45):
And that's not good.

Speaker 11 (41:46):
It's not good because you know you, I don't know
you just I just don't think it's a good idea.

Speaker 2 (41:53):
I don't.

Speaker 11 (41:54):
I never have. I've enjoyed some of them, you know,
going to attending them, but I never thought that good ideas.
Because you know that's the secret, you better hold you better.

Speaker 5 (42:03):
Hold on to it.

Speaker 3 (42:05):
Because men, men are like this.

Speaker 11 (42:07):
Men we have been able to do almost everything we
want to do to who we want to do it,
when we want to do it, But don't let a
woman do it. Don't let a woman do it, because
she's gonna become everything. We'll start with an H and
a B. No matter how long ago it's been.

Speaker 3 (42:23):
He could have been twenty.

Speaker 11 (42:24):
Years ago and you were nowhere in the picture when
they learned that, they're gonna that's some men who are
very insecure gonna use that and they're gonna take you
down the rest of your life.

Speaker 3 (42:32):
Yep.

Speaker 11 (42:34):
So anyway, I mean, I just I just speak for
men only. I don't know about women, but I know
a lot of men. You know, in my early days,
I was very insecure in the same way, and I
didn't like knowing what she had done or what she
had been doing.

Speaker 1 (42:47):
I like it even though I had done more. Yeah,
it's it's like a double standard. Men are okay if
you do it, but you're not okay if a woman
does it exactly exactly.

Speaker 3 (42:58):
And I used to be that way.

Speaker 1 (43:00):
I have to be honest with you.

Speaker 11 (43:00):
When I was younger, I was very insecure, and I
didn't like it when I learned some things I hate.
I ever knew I wanted to know, but then I
didn't know why I wanted to know because it didn't
dona piss me off.

Speaker 1 (43:12):
All right, mister Redwing, thank you so much for calling me.
I appreciate that. Okay, thank you. All right, I'm gonna
let him slide, y'all know what I'm talking. I'm gonna
let him slide today because he said he was my abilt. Well, anyway,
what is the reason for a bachelor's party? You ever
thought about it? Because it might not be what we

(43:33):
think or what we've grown up to think. Hmmm, we'll
talk about that on the way nine on one five
three five nine three four two eight hundred five zero
three nine three four two eight three three five three
five nine three four two stormy ta at my w
DI I a dot com or hit me up Facebook, Instagram,
wherever you can find me. All Right, that's out there,

(43:53):
needs to pay a bill. Ay, today's your last day
to get it in too, So go and do that
and make sure you take care of that.

Speaker 5 (43:59):
Hey.

Speaker 1 (44:00):
Hey, I'm just here to be your conscious every now
and then, you know what I'm saying, help you through
your evening. Uh huh, That's what I'm here for thank
you guys for joining me stormy conversations on your radio
on this Wednesday, April of sixteenth. So I thought i'd
look it up to see about this bachelor party thing.
A bachelor's party, primarily, they say the purpose is to

(44:23):
celebrate the groom to be his last days of single
life before his wedding, allowing him to spend quality time
with his closest friends. It's a chance to bond, reminisce,
and create lasting memories before the groom embarks on his

(44:44):
married journey. Then I see that it's a celebration of
single life. The bachelor party is a final hurrah for
the groom's unmarried status, a time to enjoy freedom and
fun before becoming a husband. Is there something spoken to do?
I read between the lines with that one, because that

(45:05):
could be a pass, that could be you know me, uh,
and then bonding with friends, creating memories, all that good stuff.
So I don't see where a bachelor's party is supposed
to be. Where you're supposed to go and have relations
with somebody else before you go, say your I does

(45:25):
the next day. But it's happened, and that's probably something
you want to talk about. Before you get married. And
maybe that's something that a lot of people don't even
think about. What you're gonna do at the bachelor party,
especially if y'all are not together, you know that night.
I think you ought to ask. Nowadays, you better ask,

(45:46):
m tell them who's gonna be at that bachelor party?
You better ask, and I mean both sides, male female,
ask what's going down on coming down?

Speaker 12 (46:04):
All right?

Speaker 1 (46:04):
Uh, let me read this email then coming back to
your phone's a BlackBerry Melassics event. Please provide info about
the upcoming event you're hosting in West Memphis. I miss
the date. I believe it's April the twenty sixth. Let
me clarify. You can get back with you, all right,
let me go back to these phones. See what y'all
talking about today? W D I A hello.

Speaker 15 (46:26):
And storm man.

Speaker 3 (46:32):
And you look good.

Speaker 1 (46:34):
Leave mister Henry alone.

Speaker 6 (46:37):
Like some stormy boy. I'd like to hear me to
hear how you're doing, how you're.

Speaker 1 (46:42):
Doing like I love her cow me too?

Speaker 6 (46:45):
Yeah, hey, uh yeah, Stormy you know uh merit it ah.
You know, if she was my daughter, I can't blame
her for seeing what you said. Because that guy choke that.

Speaker 8 (47:00):
Young lady out and she passed out.

Speaker 3 (47:01):
That lady could have died.

Speaker 6 (47:02):
My appreciation, you know, so if she was my daughter,
I would I wouldn't tell her to allow him to
come back. But if he ever put your hand around
the neck again, choked again, I'll tell her put one
in him. To make sure you put it in his
throat so you can watch him choking, because he could
have killed.

Speaker 3 (47:18):
Her for real.

Speaker 1 (47:19):
Yeah, he goold ass. Yeah, she she knows that she
is blessed to be alive. You know what I'm saying.
Uh huh.

Speaker 6 (47:26):
And you know what, in that case, that would be
a reason to fear for your life.

Speaker 5 (47:30):
So I can't blame mercy for saying, choke me.

Speaker 6 (47:33):
Again, you know, put one in him.

Speaker 3 (47:37):
Uh huh.

Speaker 6 (47:38):
Look now this dude here, that that that that hassis
with this young lady at the Best of the party.
Now he that's just dumb. He's just dumb that they came.
Number one, he done for telling them Number two, she
need to leave me alone because he's done enough wrong.
He got enough wrong before they even got married. He

(48:00):
cheated at the Best of the party. He's been putting
his hands on her like class said. I think it
was a moment of disrespect, because why was she even
telling it? That's gonna be in planning in her man
from that point on, she'll she'll never forget that.

Speaker 1 (48:14):
She wants to know, you know, what's up?

Speaker 6 (48:16):
You know, uh huh. So that's another reason she might
as well give me alone putting his hands on her.
He's miss Trina. He's cheated on her in that, but
she found out if I didn't have anything with the
lady that want to be her man forever.

Speaker 15 (48:31):
So she I dot to see him get over there.

Speaker 6 (48:33):
But to say, and this is no punching nobody, but
I can't leave any back for a think is okay
to have six the night before you get married? That
would be one of the most distant things of things
I think a person could do. Yeah, just imagine, thoreman,
your fiance has six tonight and marry you tomorrow night

(48:54):
and tomorrow night, y'all probably you know what I'm saying, Yeah,
and then not only I mean, it just don't make
sense to think that's okay. If if you're gonna say
it's okay to cheat tonight, what then it's okay to
cheap last week, the week before and so on? You

(49:16):
wouldn't be cool with that, so you shouldn't be cool
with it to night before you're with me.

Speaker 3 (49:21):
Do that make sense to you?

Speaker 1 (49:24):
I think it's sad. I mean you know, it's like, yeah,
it's disrespectful. It's like, how can I trust you again?

Speaker 5 (49:34):
Exactly?

Speaker 6 (49:34):
And listen, you don't become committed that you get married.
You become committed way before then.

Speaker 1 (49:41):
Come on here.

Speaker 3 (49:42):
And once you say you're committed, Yeah, once you say
you committed to this relationship, all that others are supposed
to go away.

Speaker 6 (49:48):
You do sacrifice and all of that.

Speaker 1 (49:50):
When you say I want to marry you, well, let
me ask you this. Coming man, Oh no, let me
ask you this. If you don't mind me asking, I
don't mean to cut you off, but if you don't
mind me asking, no, ma'am. So, if you were in
a situation you had a woman and she did cheat,
would you want to know or would you want to.

Speaker 6 (50:12):
Take it to the grave, because I'm gonna tell you
what happens right there. You you just created a bunch
of problems for yourself. You just really wrecked your marriage.
So I wouldn't want to know, and if I did
find out, I would be you know, devastated and it
would probably destroy the marriage, you know, But I know
I wouldn't want to know, and I wouldn't be trying
to find out either. But if I did find out,

(50:35):
I'm pretty sure that caused a lot of damage to
the marriage. No, So if I was that young lady,
she was my sister or whatever, I'd tell her leave
me alone because they're putting put your hands on them
and all that type of stuff. Yeah, he cheated on
you before you even got married. That's more than enough.
You'll be all right talking about not being alone. You
stay there and continue to be mistreated or you you know,
woman up and you know going on, you'll get over.

(50:57):
At some point in time. You'll find you a new beginning.

Speaker 1 (51:00):
Got it? Thank you coming man, appreciate your calling it. Okay,
all right, all right, bye bye. Yeah, that's that's that's
that's one. What you want to know if it did,
would you want to know? W d I A Hello?

Speaker 3 (51:15):
How you doing? Hey?

Speaker 1 (51:16):
I'm good, Michael, how are you?

Speaker 3 (51:18):
It was just fine when it comes to relationships, I mean,
everybody here has grown.

Speaker 6 (51:26):
Don't complicate things any further. It's I tell my nephews
and I tell young.

Speaker 3 (51:31):
Men as a man, the things you got to get
out of your system because when you get married, you
don't need to be considering this kind of thing. Your
life before you met your wife, well before you met
your husband, was your life before you met the Uh
my wife saw one of my frat brothers once and
well one.

Speaker 11 (51:50):
Of his wives, and she's like, yeah, I don't like.

Speaker 3 (51:55):
You ever told me what to rio. I was like,
what's gonna have to do with anything? Why do you
tell me if I ever asked you about.

Speaker 6 (52:02):
Any thing of anyone that you dated or went.

Speaker 3 (52:06):
Out with, a funny thing of that nature that I
make If I ever asked that, you know why, because
it ain't none of my business. But see, there are
certain things when you start thinking, and the human mind
is when it comes to.

Speaker 6 (52:20):
Being suspicious, and then the.

Speaker 3 (52:22):
Mind starts racing and then the most innocent thing you
know you're gonna be accused of, you're gonna be guilty
of it. I was a single man when I went
to Real spend two weeks there. I tell anybody every
man should go there and visit before he gets married.
But that's guy saying that's not the thing. Me and
my wife, Naw, you ain't even doing up. I mean no,

(52:44):
there are just certain things that need to happen beforehand,
the whole bestl the red party, the night before.

Speaker 6 (52:50):
No man, no, no, just like the brother just got
the prone.

Speaker 3 (52:56):
To carrying bridge name. That's something already, man, that's something
should be already handled, something already settled. Because if it's not,
you don't need to get married. And if you win somebody,
the young lady, you with somebody that's hitting you, it's
not going to stop. My dad would tell my sister.
She said, you get one call home in the daddy.

(53:19):
If you go back, that's on you, eaid. But if
you get you call home, I'm a handler, he said.
Don't ask me what happened. Just know that it's handled,
he said. But if you go back, depend on how
you handled it. He said, don't call again, and don't
call your mama.

Speaker 5 (53:36):
You choose better.

Speaker 3 (53:37):
So if it starts he cheating on you beforehand, or
she's cheating on you beforehand, it's not gonna get any better.
And if you marry somebody and they cheat on you,
what do you want to know? Yet, nine times out
of tend she think it is a symptom. She think
isn't a problem, depending on what the problem is. Nine
times this is a symptom unless you just marry the dog,

(53:58):
male or female the symptom. So you got bigger problems
than this person doing that. So until you fix that,
you're not gonna fix anything but the whole baskelette party,
basket of partner.

Speaker 14 (54:09):
I have time for that.

Speaker 3 (54:10):
My brothers they already knew you're not doing that because
that's not what this is.

Speaker 1 (54:14):
So, yeah, there's a lot of there's a lot of men.
There's a lot of men and women who are don't
want the traditional bachelor party anymore.

Speaker 3 (54:22):
No, No, I mean why because I've never been and
I don't know the brothers that do before you up,
before the brothers get upset. I've never been to a
strip club. I don't know the bab eponom economicy didn't
makes no sense to me. Ay, I don't drink, so
you have to buy drinks to be in there, or
drink minimum or whatever and be okay, economically, I'm gonna

(54:42):
give you my money.

Speaker 6 (54:44):
To take off your clothes.

Speaker 3 (54:46):
You're going to leave with my money and I'm going
to go home less. How does that make economic sense?
When I got I'm singing. I'm like, hey, if you
put on this nurse's out, didn't come by the house. Sure,
it doesn't make I don't knock the brothers that dude
that I don't before the man. They've got new food.
That's a whole nother nfer.

Speaker 1 (55:05):
Hey, Jackson said Jackson Jackson said, we need street strip
clubs in Memphis. That's what he said.

Speaker 4 (55:10):
We do.

Speaker 3 (55:11):
We do, and for the revenue. I understand because of
the younger player, especially the NBA players, the younger man
with money. It's a revenue stream.

Speaker 14 (55:19):
So yeah, I agree with him one hundred.

Speaker 3 (55:21):
Percent on that you need that business wise. But when
you marry storm men show the stuff that just doesn't
need to go on.

Speaker 8 (55:28):
It just doesn't need to go on.

Speaker 3 (55:30):
I couldn't be trusted around Jill Scott. I probably could
because I know my wife will kill me.

Speaker 1 (55:37):
Position I got you, Michael. I don't know if I
agree with the strip clubs. I mean, we don't we
have some. We already asked them, don't we have some?

Speaker 3 (55:46):
I mean not anymore than they shut down most of them.
Uh they got him here and there, bro. I think
Jackson was talking about like a red light district downtown
and you need that because Memphis doesn't have any We
don't have any revenue here and I don't want but
I'm surprised have been here as long as there.

Speaker 1 (56:03):
All right, Michael, thank you so much, appreciate you calling in.
I don't know about that red light district. I don't
know about that.

Speaker 2 (56:16):
W D.

Speaker 1 (56:17):
I A hello, Lucille, Hey day, how you doing? How
are you doing?

Speaker 15 (56:27):
I'm doing okay, I'm doing all right, Thank you lord.
I'm doing all right good.

Speaker 7 (56:31):
I've been trying to get out and I got you
a couple of times.

Speaker 5 (56:35):
But I couldn't get nobody the salping.

Speaker 1 (56:37):
Okay, well, hey, miss Lucille, talk to me.

Speaker 15 (56:41):
Oh.

Speaker 5 (56:41):
I just want all to note that I.

Speaker 1 (56:44):
Loved that Double Day and give betha.

Speaker 13 (56:46):
They play on all the old music almost I know
all of it, and.

Speaker 5 (56:53):
I just want you to know.

Speaker 1 (56:54):
Okay, that's all. Thank you, Miss Lucille. Have a beautiful day. Okay, Okay,
I love y'all. We love you back, Okay, bye bye.
Ain't that sweet? Miss Lucille says she loves us show
do you love her back?

Speaker 2 (57:11):
W D?

Speaker 4 (57:11):
I A Hello, what's up stoningy d?

Speaker 1 (57:15):
Hey, Miss Juel, how are you.

Speaker 16 (57:19):
Girl?

Speaker 7 (57:19):
Like I said, I'm doing fine and a musk and wine.

Speaker 6 (57:22):
I ain't gonna complain.

Speaker 1 (57:23):
Don't do it, not today.

Speaker 15 (57:25):
I ain't gonna do it.

Speaker 13 (57:27):
I ain't gonna do what I got God in my life,
I'm always watching over me.

Speaker 6 (57:31):
I've been had them in my life yet.

Speaker 11 (57:33):
Somethings.

Speaker 6 (57:34):
Men gotta understand when.

Speaker 7 (57:37):
We all get married, we're supposed to be as one.
The cheating is supposed to have been overweed. Now you
gonna they gonna creating problems. I don't even know why
you get married, because i'ma be.

Speaker 11 (57:51):
Like my daddy.

Speaker 7 (57:52):
We all sometimes get wrong, get married for the all
wrong reeds. Sometimes it's because you knock somebody up. But
ain't no baby gonna make y'all stay together. That's something
you have to really think about. Do you really want
to get married, because that is that's a big step.

Speaker 6 (58:10):
Yeah, that's not nothing to be played with.

Speaker 3 (58:13):
That's a big step.

Speaker 7 (58:17):
Because I think my youngest daughter, I think she finally
figured she learned. I guess it took her a while.
Now she gonna go back to her husband.

Speaker 6 (58:26):
I already knew one thing you don't do.

Speaker 7 (58:29):
If you gonna party, you should have did that before
you even got married because once you because once you
comes to keep doing that, y'all ain't gonna be able
to stay together.

Speaker 1 (58:39):
And no marriage uh uh.

Speaker 6 (58:41):
Because of marriage for be all, that's one same way.

Speaker 7 (58:44):
If you want to travel, okay, let your husband know,
but just going.

Speaker 6 (58:50):
Out by your something just like I don't. I don't care.
He'll get over okay, but that's not good.

Speaker 3 (58:57):
Why would you like if somebody do you like that, you.

Speaker 7 (59:01):
Wouldn't because that'll hurt their feelings.

Speaker 8 (59:06):
And I don't understand.

Speaker 4 (59:08):
I had one that mom was so.

Speaker 3 (59:09):
Jealous and is crazy.

Speaker 7 (59:12):
And then when I found out he cheated on and told,
you know what, I gotta go because I've been messing
around and blue blue your brains up because I ain't
with it.

Speaker 5 (59:21):
I just I can just say I met a host.

Speaker 7 (59:23):
That's what it was, all right, missch m because it's titleful,
it's sad, and men need.

Speaker 1 (59:31):
To keep their hands to theyself. Sure I didn like
when I heard he choke.

Speaker 5 (59:38):
That young lady.

Speaker 1 (59:39):
That was not good.

Speaker 6 (59:40):
He could have she could have died.

Speaker 1 (59:42):
She sure could have. That's right. That is so sad,
pretty sad.

Speaker 3 (59:48):
I'ma be like my daddy. When y'all want to start
that we're gonna get the fighting.

Speaker 8 (59:51):
Then Liz, that was my daddy's shick.

Speaker 3 (59:57):
Had y'all gonna become women?

Speaker 7 (59:58):
You butter do what you gotta dom Sure.

Speaker 6 (01:00:02):
Man, you can beat this behind And he probably learned
something from me. Yeah, I bet y'all won't try her
no more.

Speaker 3 (01:00:09):
No you won't.

Speaker 9 (01:00:13):
You got it.

Speaker 6 (01:00:13):
We have to do.

Speaker 1 (01:00:14):
We got to do what we got do when we
come wins. You showed right about it, Thank you, Miss Joel. Yeah,
I'm looking at this story that Fox thirteen posted about
the principle and just seeing some of the comments. Man,
y'all are who and what are y'all going to do
about the school board members? Because, uh you know MSCs
High School principal, she was temporarily reassigned. Uh say, we

(01:00:39):
must come together with the same strength and unity that
the kids displayed. It is time for us to stand
strong and support one another. Regarding the school board members,
how is this breaking news? Of course, children don't want
to be punished with one person, so somebody else said,
don't wonder when violence and mayhem break out on this campus.

(01:01:00):
It seems as though whenever someone wants to get tough,
they get replaced like doctor Fagin's. This is another example
of MSCs failure for students and parents. You got people
saying that, you know, on that side, but then you've
got a lot of other folks are saying, you know
that they did the right thing. They did the right thing,

(01:01:21):
and you know the kids think that at any rate,
we're talking about that and other things, y'all. Uh hit
that number up not on one, five, three, five, nine,
three four two, eight hundred and five zero three nine
three four two eight three three five three five nine
three four to two. Let me know your thoughts, all right, Boosey,
hang on for me. I'm coming to get you body

(01:01:42):
stormy conversations on your radio. Let me see if I
can get you guys. The keyword for this hour, I
think it is when I think that's the keyword for
this hour. No, no, no, m for this hour, it
is happy. Happy is your keyword. Happ Y. You know

(01:02:03):
what to do with it. Hopefully we'll get another winner WD.
I ain't had to win on Monday out the gate,
mister Fred. Congratulations to you. He got that thousand dollars.
All right, let me read your emails and your messages again.
Thank you for being here with me today. All right,
Mister Curtis says, when you commit to someone a bachelor's

(01:02:25):
party does not give you a pass to cheat. Sounds
like he knew he was wrong when he was doing it,
but now his conscience is bothering him every time he's
with his wife. Probably the case. Probably, Miss Cassandra. Hey,
Miss Cassandra, She says, good evening, stormy. Mister Henry had

(01:02:47):
me laughing so hard a push up popsicle. Ask the
men why do they have to have a stripper at
a bachelor's party. I knew a woman who had a
bachelorette party and no strippers at it. It was beautiful.

(01:03:08):
She didn't want no strippers, and I feel sorry for
the lady. Warning signs was always there. Have a great evening.
Love you, We love you too, Miss Cassandra. Foe's shaw.
Mister Burke says, happy Tuesday evening, Push up popsicle. I'm
not probably not gonna ever be able to leave that
one down. Emma, m m mmm, push up popsicle. All right,

(01:03:33):
Mister Henry Clyde says, and one thing, storm of tea.
I don't agree with them kids. Every principal run this
school differently and it's two sides to every story. Now
they tell the children side of the story. Let's see
what the principal's got to say or the teachers gotta say.

(01:03:53):
Miss King says, hey girl, she says, some of your
stories make me so grateful that I'm not married and
have no desire to be. Girl. It might be a
good thing. I'm coming around. I'm coming around. Not all
bachelor and bachelorette parties get out of control. I think
that it depends on the lifestyle of the individuals getting married.

(01:04:16):
A friend's son who is in his mid thirties got
married about two years ago, and he had a good,
clean bachelor party. There were no strippers and he didn't
have sex with any other woman that weekend. Matter of fact,
he didn't cheat on her the whole time that they
were dating. He had absolutely nothing to get out of

(01:04:38):
his system because his lady was enough for him. A
bachelor or bachelorette party should not be considered a time
for your last hurrah. That's immature and it shows you
are not ready for marriage and class is. One thing
that upsets him is when another person complains about how

(01:05:00):
I spend my money. I work for this month, I
never cared about how another person spends their money because
they bought what they wanted. And mister Jones says, miss
Joel got children, Yeah she does, she does. W d
I A Hello, Hello, hey, big cahld On, how you

(01:05:25):
doing doing just wonderful.

Speaker 3 (01:05:30):
All the way up here in Nia bar and grilled.

Speaker 8 (01:05:38):
Kilby yees.

Speaker 15 (01:05:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:05:49):
So what are y'all doing? You said you were going
down there for a listening party? Is that what you're doing?

Speaker 8 (01:05:54):
Absolutely?

Speaker 1 (01:05:56):
Okay?

Speaker 11 (01:05:57):
And album to your number one talk of taal.

Speaker 17 (01:06:01):
Baby all right boots, Yeah, yeah, the let the cat
out the band.

Speaker 3 (01:06:09):
Connect you with both hands tied behind my back. Oh
taking in with.

Speaker 8 (01:06:14):
Casper all right now?

Speaker 11 (01:06:18):
Yeah, absolutely, and I am represented and I will tell
Busy all about the number one station in the nation.

Speaker 17 (01:06:28):
Then seventy of w A and by the way, the
place to be is with Stormy t Experience. Then seventy
of WDI.

Speaker 1 (01:06:40):
Thank you very much, thank you big Cohona. You be
careful and have a safe trip back home. Please okay,
uh w d I A w d I A Hello.

Speaker 8 (01:06:53):
Hey Stormy, Hey Wednesday.

Speaker 1 (01:06:56):
Hey, happy Wednesday hump day.

Speaker 9 (01:06:58):
You thank you, thank you doing to me with now
the bachelorette party, the bachelor party. We didn't have all
of that because I waited until I was sixty five
to get married, okay, y'all, And when we had a party,
it was everybody.

Speaker 1 (01:07:15):
I was with him, he was with me. It was
a bunch of us.

Speaker 9 (01:07:20):
So we didn't we didn't have anything separate now and
it was understood. As far as the fighting and choking
and all of that, we didn't do that.

Speaker 6 (01:07:31):
And now I'm trying them.

Speaker 5 (01:07:32):
I say, I want a lover, not a not.

Speaker 9 (01:07:35):
A sparring partner, you know, And I explained everything to him.
We never had to discuss our past and this, that
and the other because it was our past.

Speaker 1 (01:07:45):
So when it came to your that night the bachelor
read you know what is typically that party? So y'all
had it together? Did you talk about it beforehand? Did
you have to? Or did y'all just y'all were just
two of a gun, two birds of a fellow blocking
the gun.

Speaker 8 (01:08:00):
No, we didn't even know.

Speaker 9 (01:08:02):
Because my mother had decided to have a little celebration
and she had invited everybody.

Speaker 13 (01:08:07):
Over, and I thought it was from me, but he
came too, and I was like, well, why is he here?
You know I'm talking.

Speaker 5 (01:08:13):
Well, you know, Pat, it took you so long to
get married, so.

Speaker 3 (01:08:17):
We want to make sure that kids.

Speaker 5 (01:08:19):
You know, they just made me feel really really bad,
but I didn't care.

Speaker 9 (01:08:23):
But so we just want to make sure he's a
part of everything that we have for you.

Speaker 5 (01:08:28):
We're going to include him.

Speaker 9 (01:08:30):
They love my husband, they love him, he loves them.
So uh, you know, we don't have any problems. You know,
I think I'm the I raised the most stand though,
you know. But other than that, I waited, Like I said,
I've seen my friends get married, divorced and we marry

(01:08:52):
somebody else. But I was like, no, I told them
years ago when I got sixty five, i'd.

Speaker 6 (01:08:57):
Be ready to get married, and sure enough I got that.

Speaker 1 (01:09:01):
Wow.

Speaker 9 (01:09:02):
Yeah, So it's a happy ever actor situation.

Speaker 11 (01:09:07):
And you know, I love my husband.

Speaker 1 (01:09:08):
He's in love with me and I'm in love with
him too.

Speaker 9 (01:09:11):
So uh but again fighting no, no, because if you
try it one time, you know you might fool around
and ship and try to do that again.

Speaker 5 (01:09:22):
Mm hmm.

Speaker 9 (01:09:23):
It's gonna it's gonna all of it's gonna be over.
But the shouting because somebody ain't gonna make it.

Speaker 3 (01:09:30):
Yeah, and I and when I.

Speaker 9 (01:09:32):
Fight Stormy, I fight to win. So if I don't
feel like I won the first time, it's gonna be
like three fifteen for the rest of the week, you know,
at the school.

Speaker 4 (01:09:42):
Okay, three fifteen.

Speaker 14 (01:09:43):
But other than that story, you have a wonderful day.

Speaker 8 (01:09:47):
And I always love talking to.

Speaker 1 (01:09:48):
You, and I listen to you every day, you too,
Thank you for calling it. Okay, okay, bye bye? W
D I A hold on one second here, double D?

Speaker 15 (01:10:00):
I A hello, Hello, Hello, Hey, this is me.

Speaker 1 (01:10:05):
Yes, it's you.

Speaker 8 (01:10:07):
Hello, Well I'm calling. I'm calling from Portland, Oregon.

Speaker 1 (01:10:11):
Fir Wait a minute, wait, wait a minute, let me
get you hold on, let me give you something right here. Yeah,
there we go. Welcome, Welcome, Thank you, you're welcome. Talk
to me.

Speaker 8 (01:10:30):
I listen to you every day on my way home,
but uh never called in.

Speaker 1 (01:10:37):
I'm glad to thank you.

Speaker 8 (01:10:39):
Just wanted, yes, I just wanted to say something about
your subject. More or less. The Bible declares that he
who finds.

Speaker 18 (01:10:50):
A wife finds a good thing. Just thought for to day,
how many men are actually looking for wise and I
mean virtueous women. You know someone is gonna ride or
die with you. I was diagnosed with cancer twice, and

(01:11:11):
the first time my wife took my hand in front
of the doctor, she said, let's do this, and we've
been doing it every since. And that's been fifteen years later.
So if you are looking for a wife and looking
for a virtuous woman, my suggestion is just.

Speaker 8 (01:11:33):
Let God lead you to her, because she's waiting on you.
She's not looking for you. The Bible didn't say nothing
about she looking for you.

Speaker 5 (01:11:43):
The Bible said He's gonna find her. Yeah, so thank you.

Speaker 8 (01:11:50):
So I mean, I appreciate you taking my call.

Speaker 1 (01:11:53):
No, I appreciate you calling.

Speaker 5 (01:11:57):
Thank you, thank you you.

Speaker 1 (01:12:00):
You know, I heard it said before a wise man
said that a woman usually doesn't just become a wife.
She's either a wife or she's not. Y'all get what
I'm saying. You hear what I'm talking about. She's either
a wife or she's Note. There been times in my

(01:12:23):
life when I know I wasn't a wife because I
wasn't looking for a husband. But I think I'm a wife.
Now let me tell you why.

Speaker 11 (01:12:32):
I know.

Speaker 1 (01:12:33):
Well, I feel like that because I like to cook.
Not that you know, I don't think because there's so
many traditional marriages now where the man cooks. Sometimes the
man can outcook the woman. Heiny, the're right, missus, Lilly?

Speaker 2 (01:12:50):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (01:12:52):
Sometimes yeah, they can outcook you. But I think when
a wife is so many things, you know what I'm saying,
Does she think about you? Is she thoughtful?

Speaker 9 (01:13:05):
You know?

Speaker 1 (01:13:08):
Do you have space in your life for a man.
There's a bunch of things that can make I believe,
make a woman a wife instead of just you know
what I'm saying, because you either want or you not
you Hey mhm. First time I heard, I was like what.

(01:13:31):
Then I understood it. I understood it. W d I
A hello, Hello Stormy, Well hello mss Lynda. How you doing?

Speaker 19 (01:13:53):
You did a croat the other day and it kind
of stuck what they buy forgot go when you were
talking about friends, who's at the Indian broadcasts and you said,
when a person meets you meet you with a smile
of something. Do you remember that crow?

Speaker 2 (01:14:09):
I liked it that one.

Speaker 1 (01:14:11):
I didn't. I ain't gonna lie, no, darned, I hate that.
I can't remember her. I can't remember right now when
a uh yeah, I can't remember.

Speaker 2 (01:14:27):
Yeah, okay, see.

Speaker 19 (01:14:30):
I talking about this young man, a whole man or whatever.
Kind of man he was went to the bachelor party
and did his thing that I think it wouldn't be
no idues here. I don't know I'll be.

Speaker 1 (01:14:47):
Going well, she didn't know. She didn't know. He confessed
it after they were married for like a year later.

Speaker 19 (01:14:55):
Oh wow, was she gonna be looking at him sideways
for the rest of ain't marriage? And she's not.

Speaker 3 (01:15:02):
About the trust.

Speaker 12 (01:15:04):
It really throws the trust to up, you know.

Speaker 19 (01:15:07):
And with these guys putting their hands on these women,
that's a no no. My first husband did that one time.
One time is all that took him.

Speaker 15 (01:15:19):
To do that.

Speaker 1 (01:15:19):
Wow.

Speaker 19 (01:15:20):
And we got into an argument. I had borrowed some
money from my godmother put him some gas to get
to work, and I told him I needed some money back.
He got to talking crazy and say he wasn't gonna
give it back, and I said, yes, you is, and
he slapped the snack out of me.

Speaker 1 (01:15:37):
Wow.

Speaker 19 (01:15:38):
And my dad, I'll never forget about. Dad was sitting
at the table reading his Bible.

Speaker 5 (01:15:44):
He heard it.

Speaker 19 (01:15:45):
He looked up, looked at him, he looked at me.
He closed his Bible and went in that room and
shut the dope because he knew all HG. L that
was about the break little wow.

Speaker 1 (01:15:57):
So what did you do?

Speaker 19 (01:16:00):
I picked up a picket bag that I had to
fill it up for the baby that was coming, and
bust timocols and dad he had thirty six stitches. And
I told him, as long as you lived, when you
never put no hand on me like that because I
were kids.

Speaker 3 (01:16:15):
You do that no more.

Speaker 1 (01:16:17):
What the folks you say. Some people don't believe in
fat me greasy.

Speaker 19 (01:16:22):
I'm gonna thank you, thank you. To see my husin
is Mexican, so bank culture.

Speaker 13 (01:16:29):
They feel they.

Speaker 19 (01:16:30):
Can beat on they women. This is the hand putting
no hand on me. That's right, that's dangerous. I'm in Minnesota,
head in Mississippi. You have a safe and blessing and
I be looking forward for the throwback.

Speaker 1 (01:16:51):
All right, it's coming.

Speaker 4 (01:16:53):
Thank you, It's got me.

Speaker 1 (01:16:54):
Okay, bye bye, Oh my goodness. Uh let me see
here read some of your emails, and it is coming
that classic TV throwback. I got it for you in
a little bit. As a matter of fact, let me see.
PJ emailed and said, Mars. There is no way I
would be encouraging whites or the elite rich to travel
to Mars. They would strip the earth of all its resources,

(01:17:19):
and once they are safely where they want to be,
I'm sure they will have a timer to annihilate and
the remainder of us and Blacks have not been kind
enough to each other for me to trust that they
will do right by me if left on this earth,
So I don't want there to be all of any

(01:17:43):
one group, just my two cents on that. PJ Lord
have mercer ms. Rampers says, I agree with Bobby Brown, However,
talking about Chris Brown being closest to Michael Jackson, there
are a few more like Usher that can be compared
to the late MJ. I'm thankful the young lady is okay, Sis,

(01:18:06):
you need to get going from that kind of man.
Young ladies, if you are in a domestic violence relationship,
please know that you deserve someone to love you, not
someone who beats you to push up popsicle Lol, Babe,

(01:18:26):
Mister Henry Lee got to work on his game.

Speaker 2 (01:18:29):
M all right.

Speaker 1 (01:18:31):
Miss Johnson says podcast Hey Stormy Tea, have you stopped
posting your shows?

Speaker 6 (01:18:35):
No?

Speaker 1 (01:18:35):
I haven't. I just I'm behind because they told me
that I gotta get the music out, and that's what's
really been holding me up, Miss Johnson. They're coming, They're coming.
I'm gonna start working on getting them back up today.
As a matter of fact, Storm that lady just showed
her age or age ain't nothing but a number when
it comes to getting married. I was fifty five when

(01:18:57):
I got married. Talking about Ms Pat w D, I
a hello, hello, hello, hey, yes it is. How are you?

Speaker 8 (01:19:12):
I'm good.

Speaker 3 (01:19:13):
I'm a first time cat of a household.

Speaker 12 (01:19:15):
What you say?

Speaker 1 (01:19:16):

Speaker 9 (01:19:17):
Wait?

Speaker 1 (01:19:17):

Speaker 3 (01:19:22):

Speaker 4 (01:19:24):
You know what's going on?

Speaker 14 (01:19:26):

and him say, getting off on the harp.

Speaker 3 (01:19:30):

Speaker 14 (01:19:32):

Speaker 1 (01:19:34):
Back norm twenty five? Police going which direction?

Speaker 16 (01:19:39):
Gone back normal?

Speaker 4 (01:19:40):

Speaker 3 (01:19:41):

Speaker 5 (01:19:42):

Speaker 4 (01:19:43):
About after one cop after one.

Speaker 1 (01:19:48):
Car walk hop sounded like a uh what do you
what do you?

Speaker 8 (01:19:52):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:19:52):
It sounds like what do you call them?

Speaker 3 (01:19:56):
What do you call them?

Speaker 1 (01:19:56):
When they car chase?

Speaker 11 (01:19:58):
Okay, yeah, a car chase?

Speaker 3 (01:20:00):
Yeah, what's going on? Crazy?

Speaker 1 (01:20:05):
I sure do hate that, but those car chases, man,
you nobody really that's a lot. Twenty five Yeah, let
me tell you something nobody wins when so if something.

Speaker 11 (01:20:18):

That's crazy, it is, that's crazy. That's what I had
told you.

Speaker 1 (01:20:28):
Well, thank you for telling me. Hopefully everybody's gonna be okay,
hopefully and prayer for that they won't, you know, hit nobody,
because nobody really wins when it comes to those car chases,
or at least some people don't because people that people,
the person they're chasing, it's usually reckless and yeah, it doesn't,
it doesn't end well sometimes. So yeah, hopefully everybody's gonna
be okay. Yeah, thanks for letting us know. Bless your heart.

Speaker 12 (01:20:54):
I know that's right.

Speaker 1 (01:20:55):
But yeah, well, thank you for calling though, first time caller. Allright,
you have a good all right you too.

Speaker 3 (01:21:03):
Now, I hope I don't and I hope i'll I
missed it yesterday when you were talking about.

Speaker 6 (01:21:09):
Your US TV throwback.

Speaker 19 (01:21:11):
Yeah, that's like the Boys, and I missed it.

Speaker 3 (01:21:18):
I will wait on you make she said.

Speaker 1 (01:21:21):
Yeah, I did it. I did do it. I did
it yesterday, but nobody got it right.

Speaker 3 (01:21:26):
And yeah, nobody got right.

Speaker 4 (01:21:28):
So you said you're gonna do it.

Speaker 1 (01:21:31):
No, I'm getting ready to I'm getting ready to do it.
As a matter of fact, let me do it right now. Okay, okay,
all right, thank you again, first time calling you too,
you too, and thank you for listening. And call again,

Speaker 3 (01:21:47):

Speaker 1 (01:21:51):
Okay, good good, thank you? All right.

Speaker 6 (01:21:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:21:57):
Hopefully they weren't, you know, the police that she she
was referring to. Hopefully they weren't after because you know,
did you see where they over two hundred pounds of
cocaine was seized, uh and Heyward County. But I think
they found some a little closer to us too, because
I saw the story and they were in like these

(01:22:17):
uh like medic bags. What a child the package in
them all kind of ways. And they said that the
stuff was headed to Nashville. What in the world? I realist?

Speaker 14 (01:22:30):
Hello, Hello, I had to put you on All newt
because I was listening to the radio.

Speaker 1 (01:22:37):
Freddy, don't do me like that. Don't do me like that.

Speaker 14 (01:22:40):
I'm sorry. I'm sorry. You're doing good this afternoon.

Speaker 1 (01:22:42):
I'm doing good, miss Freddy. How are you?

Speaker 14 (01:22:45):
I'm doing wonderful? Thank God, thank God. I'm like Queen,
I thank God for this beautiful, wonderful day. Joy I
got a question I want to throw out there. The
common man the other day he mentioned that he was
from Chicago on the West side. I want to know
what area on the west side, because I'm from Chicago

(01:23:05):
on the west side.

Speaker 1 (01:23:07):
Y'all might be related.

Speaker 14 (01:23:10):
Maybe maybe. And another thing that you were talking about,
how the receptionist, uh and you on the your appointment
changing your date.

Speaker 1 (01:23:21):
The lady that worked at my doctor's office, that's what
you're talking about, right.

Speaker 14 (01:23:26):
We had an incident been some years ago. My husband
had coming in from work and he called and he said,
I'm on order something to eat.

Speaker 3 (01:23:33):
What you want?

Speaker 14 (01:23:34):
So we told him what we wanted and he said, up,
go pick it up. So when he got home, the
order wasn't right. So he called the restaurant in Memphis
and oh.

Speaker 1 (01:23:43):
This this ain't gonna turn out right some Yes it is,
Yes it is, Oh it is.

Speaker 13 (01:23:48):
And he spoke.

Speaker 14 (01:23:49):
He spoke to the young man, and the young man
was listening to him, and he told him, you know,
he told him what was wrong with the order. So
the young man had said, I don't know what your
dog and hung up the phone. So my husband was
holding the phone and I'm looking at him and he said.

Speaker 6 (01:24:04):
He hung up on me.

Speaker 14 (01:24:05):
And I said, you gonna let him get away with that?
He said, ahg l L No, I'm not. And I said,
he said, I'm taking this back. Come on, come, he said,
come on. Uh Now, I said, I'm gonna ride with you.
I said, okay, I took the chain shoes and we
got on in the car and went on over there
to the restaurant.

Speaker 1 (01:24:26):
Oh, oh, this is about to be. Oh this ain't
a moon. It's about to turn out. Kind of bad
sign up.

Speaker 14 (01:24:30):
And the manager he spoke to the manager tom what
was going on.

Speaker 5 (01:24:34):
He heard the young.

Speaker 14 (01:24:35):
Man's voice in the back and he said, that's him.
So he called the manager called him out and he
said this, uh, gentleman said he's supposed to be on
the telephone. He's looking weird and everything, and he told
him what was said. So the manager said, well, sin
show or that wasn't right. I'm gonna get it right
for you and whatever you want while you waiting sit

(01:24:56):
at the bar. It's all on me. Wow, he told
the young man. And he said, now do this need
to come out your pay or do I need to
release you from your job? So the young man he
was standing there looking, and my husband said, now I
don't want to lose his job. He said, well, since

(01:25:18):
it's gonna be on me, but it's actually gonna be
on him.

Speaker 1 (01:25:22):
M all right, this is Freddy.

Speaker 14 (01:25:24):
See got pay for our meal. But come a man,
if you listen, get back, get that information back to
the Stormy for me.

Speaker 1 (01:25:32):
Thank you, miss Freddy.
