Speaker 1 (00:00):
Especially in the jam In Morning Show with DJ Foreign
and Saunty.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
When you need to know, No, we got you three
things you need to know.

Speaker 1 (00:08):
On Boston's number one for hippo and the best throwbags.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
She haven't any more vive you book at miss read
and he said what happened?

Speaker 3 (00:17):
And you'll hear her words through firefighter not all She said,
I hit him, I hit him, I hit him.

Speaker 4 (00:25):
This case is the very definition of reasonable doubt. And
at the end of this trial, we'll ask you to
return the only verdicts, all three of them, that are
consistent with the evidence, the science, the truth, and justice.
Not guilty, not guilty, not guilt guilty.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
Wednesday, April twenty third. If I commit a crime, I
want the man in my corner. I'm just saying, I
who want Daddy Awl in my corner? He's got the scruff.
He was out there yesterday opening statements. We had day
one of the Karen Reid retrial. Hank Brennan versus Alan Jackson,

(01:06):
just two completely different styles. Ken, who listens to the show,
often left his talkback who basically said it was kind
of like a battle of an East Coast guy versus
West Coast guy, it's true. I mean, Alan Jackson is very,
very Hollywood. He's theatrical, he's electric. You can feel it.
He's putting on a show. Hank Brennan very by the book.

(01:28):
I'm gonna give you the facts. I'm gonna show you
the evidence. You're gonna hear somebody say she said I
hit him, and that's just it.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
The Hollywood one is more entertaining, and I think it
works better. But it doesn't matter what we think. I
think it comes down to those people could definitely.

Speaker 3 (01:44):
Yeah, it could be like, yeah, you're too snobby for me.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
Yeah. I don't want to hear all of that. I
just want to hear the facts. Yesterday we had two
witnesses take the stand. The first up was the paramedic
that responded to the nine one one call. He you know,
talks about a sessing John O'Keefe's body, and then he
went into detail about turning around seeing Karen covered in blood,
asking her do you know him? What is your relation?

(02:08):
And she said to him, I hit him, I hit him.
I hit him. Now, in the first trial he says
she said it twice. In this retrial, he is now
saying he is sure that she said it three times
either way, he said she said it.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
It seems like they're going to focus on that this
time around, like times ten, and I think they'll come
back to me.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
This was a mission of guilt, if you know. If so.
Then Alan Jackson gets up there and Alan's like, okay,
but you said you said she said it twice the
first time. Now you're saying she said it three times.
How many times have you met with Hank Brennan in
the last few weeks. And He's like, I don't know,
two or three times. What did you discuss each time?
So certainly Alan Jackson was trying to poke holes and
be like, well, you're being told to say this either way.

(02:51):
I thought it was credible because he's never saying, oh,
I thought she said it, but I'm not sure if
she said it. It's always I know she said it.
I just don't how many times, how many times.

Speaker 3 (03:01):
She said it?

Speaker 5 (03:02):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
Then we had Carrie Roberts up next. Carrie got the
call from Karen at five am. Screaming into her phone.
Karen yelled, He's dead. John's dead. She hangs up. She
calls her back. They go on this search for John O'Keeffe.
So they go to John's home first, they kind of
look for him, and you know, it was interesting hearing
Carrie talk about it because she's like, you know, I

(03:23):
said to my husband, John's missing, and he was like,
John probably crashed at one of his buddy's house. Like
he's probably on a couch somewhere. It's okay. And when
you hear her initial call, she doesn't call nine one one,
She calls there, you know, the there's an alternate number
that you can call the police. I know you only
call nine on one side, but there's like a non
emergency line that she call, Yeah, and she basically explained

(03:45):
the situation, and the guy's like, we don't have anybody here,
like we didn't lock anybody up at the name of
John O'Keefe. You know, I guess basically what I'm trying
to say is her Their first initial thoughts were not
he's gone. It was like, Okay, he probably got drunk.
Maybe he's at a hospital. Well, maybe he got arrested,
maybe he's crashing on someone's house. But Karen was adamant,

(04:05):
he's dead. He's dead.

Speaker 3 (04:06):
He's dead.

Speaker 2 (04:08):
She didn't say it three times. That was me being dramatic.
I was Alan Jackson did. So anyways, they go on
this you know, search for John. Finally, after in his home,
they're like, we gotta go to thirty four fair View.
Carry Roberts is now driving, and she's like, I'm white knuckling.
It's treacherous out there. You can't see anything. I'm scared.
She goes, we pull up at thirty four fair View.
You can't see anything, and Karen's like, there he is,

(04:31):
and she's like, let me and she said, Karen freaked out,
let me have this f and car. I went out
of this FN car. She's screaming. She gets out of
the car and she runs right over to John's body
and Carry's like, I couldn't see anything, Like I don't
even know how she saw it. So that is when then,
you know, fast forward, the paramedics show up and that's
why Karen had the blood on her because they ran
over to John's body. You know, I don't know. Alan

(04:56):
didn't get his hands on Kerry Roberts today, but he'll
get out his hands on her today. He did not yesterday.
I just feel like interesting thing that stuck out to
me is that her first initial call to Carry the
first thing she says, is John's dead. Yeah, now the
fireman doesn't come home overnight. I'm doing I'm thinking that,
I'm calling the hospitals. I'm thinking he crashed. My mind

(05:19):
is not going. I do think something's wrong, but interesting
to say he's dead.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
Yeah, I would never think that. If my wife did
to come home, I would like, where the hell did
this girl go? And something that is odd. I'd start calling,
like all the friends that she may have been out
with the night before. I wouldn't initially go to that
she's dead.

Speaker 2 (05:36):
They ended a little bit beforefore yesterday and again I
don't know when court is supposed to wrap up. There
was a sidebar that happened, and then Beth Cononi was like,
all right, we're wrapping for the day. Kerrie Roberts will
be back up on the stand first thing this morning
and she will be cross examined by Alan Jackson. The
buffer zone is crazy, guys. It got a lot bigger.
We had Erica callis yesterday. She said they're keeping the

(05:58):
crowds further town. They don't allow any chanting and no beeping,
no disruptions outside of the courtroom.

Speaker 1 (06:05):
How can they stop people from chanting?

Speaker 2 (06:07):
I don't think they don't like me.

Speaker 3 (06:09):
What do you do?

Speaker 2 (06:09):
I really don't think that they can. All right, let's
talk Shannon Sharp. Shannon Sharp is in some hot water
right now. It's weird, dude. There's a lot of back
and forth between him. We kind of find out found
out that the woman that Shannon is dealing with this
quote Jane do as a twenty year old by the
name of Gabby I believe, but we're finding out some

(06:30):
more info. Remember she's claiming sexual assault. He actually tried
to pay her under the table before any of this
went to the courtroom. Ten million dollars a lot of money.

Speaker 1 (06:47):
If you're innocent, then why are you paying?

Speaker 3 (06:49):
Because he knows the stuff that she has is not
going to look good in it. It doesn't take it taken
out of context.

Speaker 2 (06:54):
Yeah, I mean either way, there's back and forth. There's
a ton of back and forth. There's some texts where
she is like being very explicit in what she wants
him to do to her. Then there's voicemails. I know
we have one where he's like mad at her and
he's like, if you keep it up, I'm going to
choke you. Uh listen. It doesn't look good for Shannon,

(07:15):
that's for sure. She's twenty years old, she's young, she's naive.
It seemingly like he took a little bit of advantage
of her and her age. But then you see some
of the text messages from her and it's like, you
don't know. There's back and forth. Here's one of the voicemails.
I don't know anything. I say, You're just gonna like
get mad at and you're just going to hang up
on me. So I feel like.

Speaker 4 (07:35):
I'm not going to hang up on you. Way to
be here?

Speaker 5 (07:39):
What?

Speaker 2 (07:39):
Who? What does that even mean?

Speaker 4 (07:42):
You want to be to me now?

Speaker 2 (07:43):
So I don't want to be don't manipulate me that mercy.

Speaker 5 (07:48):
If you said that, one will wo time I will
choke you. I see you, thank you.

Speaker 2 (07:58):
Well, I don't you know what? Oh I don't want
to be true?

Speaker 5 (08:06):
Yeah you do. I don't think you have a choice
in the.

Speaker 2 (08:09):
Matter ten mill. She said no, she wants fifty mil.
She lawyered up. She's got Tony Busby and he said,
I look forward to presenting the evidence in this case
to the judicial process, where the truth matter is more
than a sports sport icon's desperate public spin.

Speaker 1 (08:26):
It does something like he's funning with a girl who's
twenty though she.

Speaker 2 (08:29):
Don't even sound twenty in that to me, she sounds
super young. And it's I just feel like, Shannon, you
should buy way.

Speaker 3 (08:34):
They're doing a defamation lawsuit against her now.

Speaker 2 (08:36):
Yeah, and what else do you have in here? A
statement from him? It's from him that he put out when.

Speaker 3 (08:42):
I think it was yesterday.

Speaker 5 (08:43):
Okay, to my family, friends, supported and colleagues. I want
to speak to you directly and from the heart. This
is a shakedown. I'm going to be open, transparent and
defend myself because this isn't right. This is all being
orchestrated by Tony Busby, who is targeted jay Z. Tony
Buzzby targets black men, and I believe he's going to
release a thirty second clip of a sex tape that

(09:05):
tries to make me look guilty and play into every
stereotype you could possibly imagine. That video should actually be
ten minutes or so. Hey, Tony, instead of releasing your edit,
put the whole video out. I don't have it, or
I would myself. You know what happened, and you're trying
to manipulate the media. The encountering question took place during
the day at her invitation, and now that appears to

(09:26):
be able to deliver it. Sell coordinated by Gaddet also
known as carly On OnlyFans Gaddy and Tony Busby want
fifty million dollars. What they're getting is sued for defamation
and trying to take me down. My career is all
about real talking honesty. I know my family and fans
know exactly what this is about, and I'm going to
be out there telling you whatever I need to say,

(09:49):
just like I always do.

Speaker 2 (09:51):
I mean, sounds pretty confident there. Interesting that he offered
her the ten mail because if, in fact, you feel
like you're in the right, why, Yeah, it's just okay.

Speaker 3 (10:03):
People do that all the time. Shocked, No, they do.
I don't want I don't want the public scrutiny. I
don't even want this to get out. Just here take
away that ten mill's pretty high. Yeah, ten mills high.
Might like she's twenty. I'm here's text messages and everything
that they went back and forth. I mean, people put
that out he would look like the bad guy. Yeah,

(10:24):
es sensual.

Speaker 2 (10:24):
I don't want to get two graphic guys because it
is early in the morning. But I mean, she was
texting this man like pictures of people being tied up,
saying like I want you to do this to me.

Speaker 3 (10:33):
And for him, I think it's a thing like listen this,
this won't look good. And that's the that's what his
law has been saying this whole time. Like even the
audio that they're putting out of like this voicemail, they're
saying that it's been edited to make it sound a
certain kind of way. And that's why I think even
in the video, he was like, yo, put out the
whole thing and it's entirety unedited. And then you'll hear this.

Speaker 2 (10:51):
Even her in this voicemail, it sounds like she has
somebody with her coaching her. It sounds something seems off
to it. But again she's twenty years old. Like Shannon,
who's the comedian.

Speaker 3 (11:02):
There was a comedian he had on his on his
show and It's Funny a few years ago and he
told her that she told him that she was like,
you need to stop messing with the young girls for real.
That's his reputation. He's like, you need to start messing
with us older ladies, like stop, and he was just
laughing and everything.

Speaker 2 (11:16):
I look, but now look, it's true she's twenty. I mean, hello,
all right, Selter back in action tonight. They are up
one on the Magic. We got game two of this series.
Jason Tatum the big question mark. Here's Joe Missoula talking
about JT. At practice.

Speaker 3 (11:31):
He was able to do some stuff. He was sore
after the game. It's got a little bit better today.
He was able to go through some some on court
work and you know, I'll go from there.

Speaker 2 (11:41):
They're labeling him tonight, guys as doubtful. He's suffering from
a bone bruise in his right where his hand canna play.
I don't think so.

Speaker 1 (11:48):
What like what's a bone bruise compared to a like
a regular bruise. I assumed more deeper. But it's not
a fraction.

Speaker 2 (11:55):
It's not like you have you touched the skin. It
might not hurt. It's down there. Okay, it's okay, and
he's hurting, but that's okay. Because they got Peyton Pritchard.
He was named NBA's six Man of the Year. The
Celts are going to be just fine. I think they
still will cruise through this series. Game tips at seven PM.
I have am written here all right, that's cool, but
it's definitely at night. It's fine, it didn't already happen.

(12:17):
That's three things Need did over Wednesday, April twenty third.
