(00:00):
So then I said, what aboutbreakfast at Siceney's. Well, that's one
thing we got time to sit back, relax, and indulge in your weekly
tea. Welcome to breakfast at Siceny's. Welcome back. Hey it is Sisney
and Erica. Hello. Hello,I had a wonderful anniversary. Thank you
(00:21):
for asking. How was your anniversary, Systane, We had a staycation here
in la I guess that's that's theequivalent of a staycation. So you did
end up doing a staycation? Wedid, Yeah, we probably booked it.
Like that night we did No BooMalibu for our actual anniversary, and
(00:45):
Michael surprised me with a sprinter van. I know that doesn't sound sexy,
but it actually was pretty cute.It was like a really yes, super
sexy, nice seats, like wedidn't have like a pole inside. I
was like, what is going tobe inside of this van? You know,
like you could go like either waylike a party bus, Like what
(01:06):
is this? No, it waslike a really nice, comfy and so
we went to, Uh, thismight be kind of intense and TMI,
but we uh went to well,we went to a linter okay, and
we ordered we had champagne there, mind you, Like I hadn't really eaten
much that day because I was reallylooking forward to this uh meal at Nobu
(01:30):
and I we had champagne on theway there, and so we're feeling kind
of like good, and in trueSiciny and Michael fashion, we ordered like
one of the biggest bottles of sakethat I have ever seen, Like it
was, of course a bullet likeit was the a giant magnum size bottle
(01:51):
of sokke, like it should beshared with a party of ten people.
Oh no, why did you orderthat? Because we were living life like
I don't know, we thought usuallywe ordered like a smaller bottle obviously,
like a wine size bottle, andright, that's plenty. It should be
(02:12):
plenty for any normal human being. But we were just like, yeah,
he's not driving and I'm not werejust like you, we're probably into ordering
another one, So yeah, let'sget the magnum. Why not? Oh
my gosh, when I tell youthat him and I don't remember leaving.
We don't remember leaving. We weren't. I mean, we had to piece
(02:34):
together, like and then like whenI really thought hard, I was like,
Okay, I actually do remember likewalking out like we were like walking
we were. We definitely were notlike stumbling or anything like that, because
I do remember walking and leaving andgetting into the van and all that,
but definitely just like passed out onthe way home. And then I got
home and I like was asleep. Were we ended up showing the kids like
(02:55):
our wedding video that and I justremember like being asleep on the couch for
most of it. But it wasoh yeah, wild time my And then
I woke up and it was likelike a new woman. Like it was
like I had like a cat napand that's like all I needed, but
too much sake. What time didyou get home? Early? Like six
thirty? It was like such aweird time to be that liberated. Let's
(03:21):
just say, right, good time. Wow, Well, markings of a
great anniversary. And then what didyou guys do for your staycation? We
went to the Pendrie Hotel in WestHollywood, which I highly recommend. This
is an advertisement for it. Ipaid full price and it was a really
really cute hotel, and we itwas actually kind of gloomy and rainy,
(03:44):
so we didn't want to travel toofar. I didn't want like originally were
maybe thinking O Santa Barbara be cuedor maybe down to Newport. Yeah,
but I was like, it's goingto suck weather wise, so we stayed
local and it was perfect Saturday. We lined up some massages and facials and
it just was a nice, perfect, little, just standard staycation. And
for whatever reason, uh e likethe E Network was having like a Twilight
(04:09):
Saga marathon and we watched so well, we had to leave for our massages,
so we missed. We missed likeprobably two of the movies, but
we watched from like the very firstone to like the end, Like why
off, I've never seen really seenthe movies like or read the books.
Oh it was not really hightehard Likeyeah, it was never really my thing.
(04:30):
Uh but I actually want to goback and like probably like thoroughly watch
the movies. Well because we hadto watch them with the commercials and it
wasn't that great, but oh yeah, but yeah, we were so hilarious
and it was all gloomy and rainy, so it was perfect. I don't
know if they timed it that way, obviously they didn't because we were in
LA and I'm sure it was rational. He was playing around the country.
Yeah. Well, I mean itwas like a winter storm all across the
(04:54):
country, so might be that's sofun. Those movies are like so weird
but good, so weird, it'sso good and I get it like it
was. It was such a likea capture of a moment in time.
Because that really totally over pop culture. I really did. I went to
(05:15):
like midnight showings of those movies.I read all the books. I was
that girl. Yeah, you werethat girl. You really do becom that
girl for whatever. I like, whatever it is. I like, all
you're all in? Is it TaylorSwim all in? Or I'm all out?
Yeah? Boyfriends, Like it's soeverything. It's really funny. Uh.
The kids are at that age nowwhere they get really upset when we
(05:36):
leave, Like they were, Oh, They're like so pissed at us that
they were not coming this two dayson the station. Michael it was seven
nights and they were like so sad. And then he was like, actually
it's just two nights and they werelike, oh okay, it made it
better. I was like, isthat your tactic? What is there?
(06:00):
I mean the reaction so much, the reaction course love and jealousy. I
think it's like they know it's gonnabe fun. They know it's gonna be
room service, they know it's gonnabe a hotel room like the Oh they're
not dumb. It's like, whowould I want to come to that?
Right? Shoot, they're like reallyold enough to understand you can't really get
(06:23):
away with them to stay here andare with our bed sheets, I don't
know, in our home, whichlike someday they'll realize how much they love
staying home and it's really full circle. I know. My mom's so funny.
She like left me have voice inall like passive aggressive. She's like
wow, She's like, I don'teven know why you bought a new house.
You're never in It looks like you'rehaving fun though, And I was
(06:46):
like, oh my god, canI have a freaking anniversary weekend? Yeah?
Can I have a ten year anniversaryweekend? Also? Have you traveled
this year? No? But Iwas like, just moved in in August.
I don't think we did went ago. I think we did a little
staycation at Malibu in like December andthen our anniversary. Oh yes, okay,
(07:06):
but you did that. Okay,Well it's my mom. My mom
doesn't go anywhere. So she justlikes to you know, she likes to
poke a little. Although she's gotto my house right now, she just
arrived. What is she just goingto stay with us for a week?
Oh fun? Remember when she cameand stayed for like a month when the
twins were born. She stayed forfour months when the twins she didn't were
(07:29):
born. Maybe it was like twoand a half, but a long time.
But like most of your maternity, yes, they were born on a
second. She didn't leave until afterthe fourth of July. That's wild.
It was a good chunk of time. Honestly, it was really nice.
I would look back at like thosevideos and stuff, and it was just
it was nice having her around. She doesn't you know, my people are
like, oh my gosh. Youknow, I can only stand having my
(07:51):
mom around for like a day anda half or whatever. It's different when
she's at my house, like havinghaving like mama my things and my stuff.
I'm okay because it's I don't knowwhat it is. But if I'm
at her house, like I canonly be there for like a day max.
But when she's because like you don'thave your stuff, it's not in
your place. Just having her atmy house. I'm like fine with it
(08:13):
because she's and she's I think she'sfine too, Like she just has her
own little mother in law suite likeshe's golden. Yeah, so she's staying
with us for like you're such ahost though, yeah, like you like
having people over. I love it. And Michael is surprisingly on board,
Like I don't know he's saying that, like because usually like husbands don't necessarily
(08:35):
necessarily care for their mother in lawsto be in town r but he really
does. He's all about family andfriends and that won't always being over.
And you'll be over soon too. That's gonna be a revolving door in the
bedroom. I'm so excited. Iknow Eric is gonna come to visit with
her boyfriend, I know, andit's gonna be a nice little weekend.
I have to plan some fun stufffor us to do. Hopefully the weather's
(08:58):
nice, like cross my fingers onthat. So we are gearing up for
a silly hair day on Friday. And I don't know why taking it so
seriously, like of course you arebe a big deal. But like I
have not stopped looking at Pinterest andlike dumb pictures online and I want to
(09:20):
like take it over the top. What are you planning? I was trying
to convince Mike our Maxim to dothis really cool hairstyle that like he's not
on board with it, which isweird because usually he's the one that like
is always in and his hair isso long right now, so it'd be
perfect. I want him to dothis like mohawk wave and like have it
look like a tidal wave and thenlike spray put a surfer, like a
(09:43):
lego man surfer on there, andyou just like that would be cute.
Oh And he's like no, mom, And I was like, oh,
He's like, oh no, ishe getting too I don't know. And
so he's and so I was like, all right, well, do you
want to spray it any color orlike do anything? And he was like
no, and he's like just wantyou to like style it all weird,
and I was like whatever, Soyou're like you're boring, and then he
says, like, what do youwant to do with my hair? And
(10:05):
and so I was like, Iwas thinking of doing like a unicorn style
hair hairstyle for you. She's likeoh, She's like tell me more.
And so then I found one whereyou basically do like a like the horn
in the front, like you dolike you somehow massage the hair to make
like a bun and then you likeyou start like fraying it up, but
you use a lot of hair sprayto like actually form it into like a
(10:26):
coney type horn, and you justuse all her hair like. There was
other tutorials where they're like, gobuy a foam cone and then a fallout,
So I'm gonnattempt that, and thenyou just do like a high pony
and you can either do spray colorsand spray rainbow colors or I'm gonna do
clippings. I'm gonna do clipping hairextensions of rainbow. Oh cute, So
(10:48):
the Haros is gonna be somewhat. She was all for it. She's like,
hell, yes, I'm in onehundred percent. Then we went to
bed this morning, Oh I waslike, okay, I think I want
to do you want you to spraymy hair? So I'm like all right,
He's coming around and wants to dolike a color and he said green,
and I was like green green. So frank, at the time,
(11:11):
I didn't even think of that.So now I'm like it look sound like
green hair. And you know thatmovie Leo that came out of Netflix.
Yeah, I like watched five minutes. You should give it a chance.
I fell asleep. How tired wereyou? Very really good movie anyways.
Okay, there's like a lizard likeyou can basically do like a lizard like
(11:37):
across the top, and then youget like wire like the fuzzy wires and
you make those like the legs.Yeah, so I was thinking maybe we
can convince and do that and youdo like the eyeballs in the front,
and I can say, hey,you can put Leo on top of your
head and we'll spray him green cutepipe cleaners. That's what those fuzzy wires
are called. Thank you for that. I got you. So that's cute
(11:58):
on that, Or we can justspray his hair green if that's just what
he wants. I just want topoint out though, like no one is
surprised that you're taking this so seriously, like this is what you do,
and you're like, I can't Ican't believe. I'm like, yeah,
I am panicking. This is HAWRD. I need to get this stuff though
I haven't purchased yet. So DVDon that do you want to do like
(12:22):
a test run on them? Orprobably I did get on that one thing
I am looking forward to in oneweek, and I think you are as
well. Are you all caught upwith your vander Pump roules? Oh girl,
am I caught up? I keepforgetting it's coming back. I did
too, And I got a littlepanic because they had their premiere party and
(12:45):
yes, last week I kissed that. It was like it was right here
at the Palladium and I was like, how did I not know about this
and or invited? Or how didyou not get invited? Yeah, like
how does kiss not get invited?Or all the things? Anyways, it's
besides the point. Yes, butit was so early. It was weeks
before the show came. I waslike, did the show already? I
was like, threw me off basically, but the show has not. It
(13:07):
could be because Arianna is doing thatstint on like Chicago Broadway as Roxy Heart
in Chicago. Maybe so maybe she'sreally busy with that so they needed to
do it a little oh interesting takeon that, so I thought, obviously
am excited, and the premierees nextWednesday. Get your get yourself ready.
(13:33):
Here's the thing I used to havedirect TV and I would just record everything
and you know, have it allon my little Yeah. You were the
Queen of Yeah. I said allmy shows like it, would just record
it and life was good. Idon't have that anymore. I have settled
for Spectrum, Internet TV or whateverthe hell it is. It has taken
(13:56):
some time to get used to.I don't have the luck street to record
shows anymore. They're just there.I have to just remember to watch them
in live TV time. Well don'tyou have Peacock? I do have Peacock.
Does Peacock? Let you watch itthe next day? No, not
(14:16):
record, just watch. I canjust watch the next day on Spectrum too,
or Hulu. I have all ofthis show. Okay, why do
you have all of it? Idon't know. This is like all other
lu live. I don't have HuluLive, so I guess I could get
rid of some of these and probablyjust do Hulu Live. It doesn't matter.
I have the other things live.I don't I really any other things.
I need to do a Spectrum,so I need you to do a
(14:37):
whole refreshing all of my subscriptions.I've been trying to take some stuff away.
I finally got rid of my audible. How often were you using that?
Well, now I'm using it alot because I had sixteen credits,
so I was like, all right, let me just cash these out,
and then I just and I stilldidn't get rid of it. I paused
it. I have a Oh mygosh, I seriously have a problem like
(15:03):
either letting go or it's like ashopping problem or I don't know what it
is, but I think it's aletting go because I think you feel that,
like, but what if I missedsomething? What if I can't watch
this thing? What if something happensand I want to watch it? Which
is like kind of legitimate for yourjob. Sure, I don't know,
(15:24):
but we have too many things likebut there's just there's too many subscriptions and
that it's too complicated for us.It needs to be easier. It is
it does. I do have aquestion about vander pump Roles, though,
where do we think this is goingto pick up? I think it's going
to pick up. Well, itended, Oh gosh, I don't remember
(15:46):
how it ended. A couple ofweeks. You probably no more how the
reunion, right because I just watchedit the reunion was, where doesn't she
just leaving? She goes to rehaband then they all hate him still right
right, and so like Rachel's nowhereto be found. By the way,
she has that iHeart podcast. Haveyou listened to it at all? Can
(16:06):
I tell you? Yesterday I waswalking down the hallway and who do I
see but Rachel? Yes, Andshe was staying nice all by herself,
waiting for her people, like alittle lost dear because she needed to get
what did you say? Okay,So she's like back in la she's doing
(16:29):
the podcast from Laune it out ofour studios, and she was waiting to
get into the room where she doesher podcast, and I knew where she's
like, I knew that's what shewas doing because that's where the room was.
And she was just standing there. You know those the stairs that go
into the loading dock, Yeah, she was that's stair I'm sorry, the
elevators that go to the loading dog. She was in that elevator hangar.
(16:52):
And so she was waiting there andthen they're that room that used to be
like an old the old Katy Perryuh meeting room. And then I got
turned into a music listening room orwhatever. I didn't know that, but
it now is that and now that'slike a podcast room, so oh that's
cool. Cool. So that she'swaiting for that room to be open,
and I was just walking down thehallway and I didn't even make I got
(17:18):
eye contact. I just kept walking. Yeah. No, I was busy
too. I to go get mylunch from the man at the elevator at
the other other elevator. Wolf right, you're very busy. I think that
I don't know her. I've neverI never met her. If I've met
her before, like if we hadlike she'd come in and an interview with
(17:40):
us totally, and then I thinksomething, but we've never met so I
didn't feel like I needed to sayanything. No, there's just something like
like Sandoval is awful, and thenthere's something else about like the break in
of girl code that I have ahard time with her, you know,
Yeah, there is that as well. And now she's saying all these things
(18:03):
that she should have said. Iguess at the time when six months ago,
almost a year ago, she hadthe time to say it back then,
And I was like, what areyou bringing all this old shit up
now? Because your podcast, rightbecause she's getting paid. But I will
tell her this if I had tosay anything nice. She's listening here now,
(18:27):
she's totally listening to my podcast. She smelled really good. Yeah,
oh great, good for her.Smelled like beautiful flowers or something beautiful,
and she looked nice. I'm excitedto see Yeah, I'm excited to see
this season. I live for thedrama when it's not in my life.
(18:49):
And you know what I realized Iwasn't watching because I don't have my DVR
to re recording my shows, isthat I wasn't watching my Beverly Hills Housewives,
And so I was all that onthat and I just binged it this
last week. Oh my gosh,it was like eleven episodes. I was
in heaven. I was like,oh, this is a dream. Well
then you know what you should do? What you know what I'm gonna say,
(19:11):
Salt Lake City, Yeah, Iknow. I just finished this weekend.
I started. I started it,but I want to watch it from
like season one, so I neededto like get to know all these bitches
and start from the beginning. Andlike I started, you're gonna like hate
them and love them. You're gonnalove and I heard that the season finale
was like wild, crazy, mindboggle. Okay, I'm in I just
(19:34):
need some time. Okay. Wefinished it this weekend. Yeah, yeah,
yeah, I'll get on that.Yea, yeah, because I'm all
caught up now with Beverly Hills soperfect. Michael was just like, how
many more of these? God,he's gonna hate me now. It's out
like City. It's like three seasonsof that. Yeah, you're like,
sorry, Michael, Oh, it'sfour seasons. It is four good perfect.
(19:59):
I love just blame me. Well, I'm happy to. I blame
you for lots of things, andit seems to be well kidding. So
you know how to get those adson Instagram, like for random crap like
that that bra company that for whateverreason keeps coming up. Yes, not
hey Harper, Like I said,Hay, Harper is a jewel Yeah,
(20:19):
hey Harper is jewelry. Honeylove isBras and shapewear, honeylove, but yes,
which I totally like, put abunch of shit in my cart the
other day and I was gonna buysome of those stupid bras and then I
just I couldn't pull the trigger.I was like, I don't know if
I'm this size or this size.I just can't decide. Did you buy
(20:40):
some? You could just buy oneto start, No, I don't have
any. Don't tell me to buyone. You haven't even bought that.
It's you're in and out of theyear to wear brawlts. I know,
but I can't just I, youknow, I you know what I decided.
It was like, I just needto go to a store. I
don't. I can't just I justa guy. These bras, like I
(21:03):
don't trust them. You can alwaysreturn them, you know what. I
feel like, you can't with those. I feel like these come from when
they get shipped. There's no freakingreturn label. I feel like it's super
sketchy, and you you know,it's like you get it and it's like
where did this come from? Andthen you're stuck with it? Too much
work? Yeah, so I getit. That's what I ultimately decided.
I was forget this. I'm justgonna try to go to the mall.
(21:25):
And then I never went to themall. Okay, so yay, that
was then why did you bring upInstagram and bring an Instagram at Instagram ads?
Because this other one came up andit was this freaking girl. And
she was like, oh my gosh, so I totally make money on this
app. She's like, oh god, She's like it's like what have you
done? Like it's not much, but like you know, it's enough for
me to like it's like my gasbunny or like my spending money, and
(21:48):
like it all adds up and likebefore you know it, like I'm just
like making all like a little sidehustle. And I was just like,
is it racketee? It's fucking ohSolitaire? What Solitaire? And I downloaded
it and I am addicted to thissolitaire app now and it's only been three
(22:14):
days and I cannot are you makingmoney? Put it? Well, here's
the thing. Erica had to spenda little money to make money. Okay,
you've got to be kidding me,kind what example are you setting for
your children? Brings me back tothe days like where we played candy Crush,
you know, and and I andI never played kids, but I
(22:34):
did. And I got to thepoint to where I was starting to buy
those gems and I was like, this is an issue. And so I
finally took the app off my phonebecause I was like, this is bad.
And that was not rewarding me withactual cash. In this case,
it's rewarding me with actual cash. So, and have you seen is the
(22:56):
cash in the room right now?The cash is in the room. I
am up about twenty dollars right now? So am I not twenty dollars?
Yeah? I think I spent Wheredid you spend twenty? I spent ten
dollars and then I lost ten dollarsand then I put ten dollars back in
and right now I'm at thirty ishdollars. So I'm up twenty to me
dollars down twenty to me. Thatsounds like you're even. So why are
(23:26):
you putting money into the app?Oh? Because okay, so that works.
So you play against other people andit's like timed and so each game
has different tears. So you canplay like this solitaire game for like a
dollar, and that one it givesyou the opportunity to win two dollars.
(23:47):
So if you're like, if youget if you get a higher score,
you beat that, you get firstplace, you could win up to two
dollars or three dollars. But youonly have to spend a dollar to play
it. Now, if you wantto spend ten dollars to play a solid
air game. You could win upto fifty dollars for that game. It's
just like there's the crazier bets.Basically, it's like this whole thing.
I know, you're playing real peopleplaying real people. It's like this whole
(24:07):
community. This is just gambling gambling. Yeah, gamble. This isn't a
side hustle. This is simply gamblinggambling. I'm online. I am online
gambling. Yes, yeah, Idon't know what to do. I just
(24:29):
I like, it's been three nightsof this, and I play multiple Solisier
games and I cannot stop. LikeI eventually stopped because I like set limits
for myself. I I'll have twomore games than I gotta go to bed.
Oh yeah, and does your sweetdear husband of ten years know about
let's not tell them about this. You can tell them when you come and
(24:55):
I'm if I'm let's let's let's puta pin in this. And then when
you come to visit me on Februaryeighth, ninth. Feah, I get
there February ninth, I'll see howmuch money I've lost or made. Oh
my gosh, Okay, he's probablygonna listen to this podcast. Yeah,
we'll see what his reaction is.You'll have to screenshot the text he sends
(25:15):
you when he hears it. Iyou know what, I'm gonna make money
off of this watch case. Ihope you do. You pay for the
kid's crazy hair day. I'm notI'm not getting involved. I am not
starting to play this game. Doyou remember when we used to play what
was that a scrabble game? Weused to play wordle? No? That
(25:40):
word was it? Wordle? No? It was we used to Oh,
we used to play that scrabble likewhere's the friends against each other? Friend?
That's what it was. Wow throwback. But I'm not playing solitary.
I'm too and losing all my moneyto you. No, I don't
know how I would find you anyways. It's like so random. I was
using my real name at first.I was like, this is stupid.
(26:00):
I need to change my name.Did you change it to your secret name?
No? I just yeah, Imean I made it username. But
it's called La Sash. All right. Well, if anyone out there is
playing this and finds you, I'mcouldn't think of anything else. Know why
I thought of that La Sas?Why am I so lame. That's not
(26:25):
even like your initials. At first, I thought it was your initials and
I was like, okay, andthen I realized it new friends, No,
oh, because I'm not there.Maybe that's what it is. I
don't think you need new friends.I just think, you know, you
need your kids to be more experimentalwith their crazy hair day. Yeah,
(26:45):
maybe that's what it is, allright, probably, Well, maybe we'll
just end on that note, becauseall I keep thinking about Solitaire that I
want to just get back. Justkidding. I'm going to text you later
and be like, put the Solitairedown. I just need to get it
back up, you know. Iwant to get it. I want to
hit forty tonight, okay, andthen tomorrow you're gonna be like, I
(27:07):
gotta hit one hundred. You're justgonna get hungry for the game. I
just don't want to put more moneyback at your house and home it.
Don't put the goals, but notput more money back into it. Okay,
that's the goal. I believe inyou. I believe myself too.
I feel like we're gonna talk aboutother stuff, and my computer shut off
and now I don't have my preps. So oh the buddy moons. That's
(27:29):
okay, we can we can putit the buddy moons. All right,
we'll talk. Here's a big tease. We'll talk about the buddy moons next
week. Yeah, we will havea wonderful, wonderful week. Tata can't
wait for Vander Pump. Bye bye,
