But I think mostly, how doyou feel being forty? It doesn't feel
that much different, except for thereis some sort of excitement for this new

it with my thirties. I feelwhen I turned thirty, so it's more

like and I think when I turnedthirty it was more the unknown, Like
I know, we had just gottenmarried and so I knew eventually I would
have kids. And sure, youknow my career would change. I didn't
know that it would happen the nextyear, but then it, you know

year thirty. Yeah, that's interesting, except I don't know if I was
thirty one or thirty when I tookover you in the morning show We're thirty,
and you turned thirty one shortly afterit was like officially announced. Yeah,
yeah, crazy. So yes,I'm kind of more like it's not
so much the unknown, but I, like, you know, have I

have big plans and like things Iwant to accomplish and achieve in these next
few years. And right, it'sexciting. I think that type of stuff
is exciting totally. But did Ineed to party my head off in Vegas

consequences. And then come Easter Sunday, which was my actual birthday, I
get home and my kids are soexcited. They put like a happy Birthday
banner on the wall and it wasjust like so cute and so cute,
I know, and I was like, yany just struggle bus on the couch.
Yeah. I texted you as Iwas boarding my own flight on Sunday

and said, I'm fighting for mylife. How are you doing? And
it seems you were also a bitfighting for your life. Honestly, I
started drinking a beer because I waslike, yeah, and I feel like
that helped a little bit. Yeah. And then we did Easter egg hunt
with the kids, which was superfun for them, and so they got
two well they know, we didthe Easter basket last weekend and then they

did an Easter egg hunt. Veryfun. Yeah, So it was cute.
And my parents were there, whichwhatever, they've seen me in all
conditions. Yeah, And that wasthat. And then before I knew it,
it was like Monday, and Iwas like, oh my gosh,
not only is it back to work, but it's like the longest day ever
with the Iheartradow Music Awards, yeah, which we had place here in La.

couple more details on your birthday.So it looked like you were in like
a very private room for dinner onenight, both nights, both nights.

We stayed at the Fountain Blue inVegas, which is like a brand new

hotel just opened in December. Youmay have seen like justin Timberlake was there
like kicking it off that right.That was like when like there was like
some drama about like him saying somethingabout Cryua River or whatever Africa. So
anyway place, and so we stayedthere in like an amazing, big old
suite that had like a living roomand a dining table and awesome views and

so that was kind of like ourhub for all of our friends to meet.
Michael surprised me with matching sweatsuits foreverybody that he custom created a logo
for my fortieth and it was likesuper cute. Yeah, those were sick.
He took an old picture of mewith two of my best friends,
Tory and Kaylin, that we hadtaken in Vegas like probably fifteen years ago,

and just did like a silhouette ofit and then like did a circle
around of this at like Fountain Blue, Las Vegas forty hours or something like
that, and then like thirty hoursto forty I guess one of that super
super cute. What was your favoritepart? It was having like everyone be
there. It felt like we wereon a cruise ship almost because he ever

like really left the Fountain Blue.We left one night to go see Cascade
on Friday night. Oh, butother than that, we were there the
entire time. And then we wereall together like it was. We all
woke up Saturday and it was sucha crummy day weatherwise, so we did
the spa and we just did likethe day passes. Some people maybe got
treatments. I had gotten a treatmentthe day before, so I didn't need

one, and we just all werelike bouncing around the different saunas and the
different jacuzzi's and the different treatment roomsand things like that, and it was
just really fun because it was justwhen else do you go, like to

fun. And lots of lunches dinners. We ate at mother Wolf the first

night, okay, and then PoppySteak the second night, which is like
crazy party vibes and they bring itout like if you get the Tomahawks steak,
they'll bring it out in a briefcaseof ice. I saw this photo,
yes, and I was like,what's happening here? Yeah, and
like the entire restaurant, like fortyworkers all come in with like stroke lights
and the music turned up and theylike present this steak to you. It

was very like carnivorese like I don'teven know, like it was almost giving
me like yellow Jacket vibes like Lordof the Fly. I don't know,
but it was like really intense,but it was fine. Would you say,
I know you've been to Bagtel inYes, in Callbo, it's kind
of like that vibe. It's kindof like that, but I don't It's

not like the entire time like everyoneis dancing, like dancing on tables or
things like that. But so,yeah, that was a lot of fun.
And we did Live which is liketheir main club, that night,
and then it was just like lostmoney, gambling, you know, all
the things you do in Vegas.What time was your flight on Sunday morning,

I got home at like a sevenam. Oh perfect, like an hour
sleep exactly exactly. Well, I'mglad you had fun. It looked very
fun. It was a lot offun. I highly recommend some sort of
trip with your friends, even ifit's not your milestone birthday. Sure,

I just got a like one ofmy girlfriends. I hadn't even been on
a trip with her since maybe evenmy thirtieth, like it'd been you know,
just everyone kind of just reunited it. I thought that was so special
and fun. That is so special. And then you land and you have

along to see like what they keep, what they don't keep, and Meryl
was like like half improv half justreading off of it, like just so

younger generation, so tell me aboutthis gen Z trying to favor digital first

dates. I'm really not understanding.It's like like FaceTime, so they're counting
that as a first date. Yeah, so gen Z would rather have first
dates that are on FaceTime. Idon't or maybe even phone calls rather than
like going out and having a firstdate. And I think that this is
the problem with dating today. Ithink this is that we have found the

issue because you have to meet someonein person to know if you have chemistry
or not. Right, But butdon't you remember when you were younger and
spending hours on the phone and Ididn't have FaceTime, I didn't have Okay,
you could see the person and sogranted they're not first dates, but

it was like that's where you gotto know your significant other the most.
I mean even with Michael, likewe spent a lot of time on FaceTime
and talking on the phone, butyou met in person, which you're saying
like they're like maybe on the apps, and they just continue to be on
the apps. Right, I justdon't think that, Uh, deciding if

you like someone, I think thisis only a problem when you decide you
don't want to see them again.So deciding to have a FaceTime first date
with someone based on random photos already, it's like, how do you know,
Like you don't have chemistry with someone, but then if you still further

And there's so much there's chemistry isa weird thing, don't you think

you either have it or you don't, Like yes, n't force it,
but you can have it on text. Like I've been on dates where like

I think that, like in general, we stop being so petty with

I think it's more focused on theirpersonalities than their looks. As we yes,

within their culture. So I'm justreally surprised that you thought I know.
But also my mom, I mean, I guess my mom and my dad
if you want to just sum upthe Latino culture as a whole, fine,

Mexican and my dad's Peruvian. Yes, I mean North America, South America,
I mean different continents totally so,and it's a huge difference. But

it was kind of cool how theydid the crossover and then the Valley started.

I haven't watched it yet, butI would like to. But apparently
so you could stay there and it'slike not that expensive. Did you see
those things I sent you about it? So one bedroom apartment averages about one
hundred and seventy one a night.It would be definitely doable. Yeah.
So yeah, if you're going withyour husband or your boyfriend, that's all
you need. But if you wantto go with friends and things like that,

they had like a six bedroom onethat sleeps up to fifteen people and
that one's like twelve hundred buck twelvehundred a night. That nets out to
