So you're a Dodgers fan, you're a Raiders fan. I
mean it must feel good to be a Dodgers fan,
because I mean the Dodgers are out there actively winning,
They're getting the team, they're building the team better and
better every year.
Speaker 1 (02:41):
Like, what does it feel like to be a Dodger
fan right now?
Speaker 3 (02:44):
Man? First of all, I've been a Dodger sat as
I was a little kids. Man, I I got to
beet tomasda one. Oh man, my mom, she wants to
make out with Steve Garvey. I love front of Venezuela.
First of I'm a hardcore Dodgers fan. Bro that I remember.
(03:06):
I was in Monoey, California. U huh and Reggie Jackson,
Reggie Jackson, mister October was having was having breakfast and
my friend tapped on me, Hello Reggie Jackson, right, and
I was so star structs. I love Bergie Jackson, you know,
but still I love it. I love him. So I
shook his hand and I set the wrong thing to
(03:28):
him because I came out of my mouth. I said,
when I was a little boy, I saw Bob Wouch
strike you on in the World Series. You told him that, yeah, man,
sat my hand around.
Speaker 2 (03:39):
He was.
Speaker 3 (03:40):
He got mad, and then my friend said, but he
came back the next day and hit three home runs.
He goes, I know what, you're dead. Your friend has anisia.
Speaker 1 (03:49):
That's how diehard you are.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
You're like, look, man, I remember when you got struck
out and how excited I was.
Speaker 3 (03:55):
Yeah, I was excited, Bro, he was he was. He
was batting for like thirty minutes, fall balls, then he
strikes out.
Speaker 1 (04:03):
Damn, that's crazy.
Speaker 2 (04:04):
You got to meet mister October and that's exactly what
you told him.
Speaker 3 (04:08):
No wonder man, I said the wrong thing. But I
did a show for the Dodgers man last year, before
that yearly won the World Series. I was right before
spring training. There is spring training, and I said that
I'm glad that you guys. I'm glad that every other
Dodgers showed up here for the show. I hope, I
(04:29):
hope Kershaw shows up in October and he don't playoffs WEEKD.
I ed to think that I was a Dodger curse
because I will go to a lot of Dodging games
and they will lose. Bro.
Speaker 2 (04:44):
So you felt like anytime you stepped inside Dodger Stadium.
Speaker 1 (04:47):
It wasn't gonna go.
Speaker 3 (04:47):
Well, I'm serious, bro, George Lopez. As a matter of fact,
he invited me to the Dodgers Versus after the World
Series in Houston, Texas in George Lopez. Yeah, so he's like,
we were sitting, bro in twenty thousand dollars seats. Damn,
(05:09):
And I had to give George Lopez my liver at
Kitty at the end of the game. But I was
very nice of him. I'll never forget he took me
to a baseball game. Like it felt like being there
was like, I don't know, man, I just felt good
to be there. Was like somebody that you were respected
the comics, and that's what I was gonna ask you.
Speaker 2 (05:28):
I mean, it must have been a great feeling that
George asked you to go and watch the.
Speaker 1 (05:32):
Game with him.
Speaker 3 (05:33):
Man. A lot of a lot of a lot of
things said about George, you know, like he has never
helped Latino comics, but it's just that you don't have
to if you don't want to. But he helped me,
man so, and he's done a lot of good things.
But he's not one of those people that once a
million likes for doing something nice to somebody. He just
(05:57):
does it and does it, you know, the way, the
way he should be. He does these old school you know,
like he'll donate for a cause, but he will. He's
not up there bragging about it.
Speaker 1 (06:09):
Now.
Speaker 2 (06:10):
You have a good relationship with George, like you said,
you went to the game with him.
Speaker 1 (06:14):
On top of that, you did.
Speaker 3 (06:15):
A relationship with George Lopez and Parrodriguez. Bro it's like
beating a meeting friends with your mom, with your parents,
and you're stuck in a in a custody battle.
Speaker 2 (06:27):
Ah that that has to be tough, because you're right.
Speaker 1 (06:31):
I mean there's a lot of clashing heads.
Speaker 3 (06:34):
Yes, because I have a podcast and a popular podcast,
by the way, and I let anybody be on, and
I have Paradriguez on, and he was talking about George
and we just let him. We just let Para Driguez
talk and he talked and he talks, and everything he
(06:54):
said ended up on TMZ.
Speaker 1 (06:56):
Oh Man, and then Joe saw it and what happened.
Speaker 3 (07:03):
Oh, nothing happened, he went on, and you know that's
between them two. Man, I'm in the middle. But hey,
anybody welcome to my podcast and retort So.
Speaker 2 (07:14):
We're talking with Felipe as far as the ck on
sports it is Fox Sports Radio. Gonna get into him
being a Raider fan in a minute. Hey, what up
Fool is the podcast? What is it like doing What
Up Fool? And just being able to do a podcast
and to make the podcast so successful?
Speaker 3 (07:31):
Well, first of all, you gotta have a strong base.
And my wife is like my manager, my partner in crime.
She directed my special excutive produce. All I'm gonna do
is show up, bro and be funny. Man. But what
I always wanted to do, Man, I don't know nothing
about account team. I don't know anything about typing up
(07:52):
a resume and all that and taking photos. My wife
goes out everything. Man, if she went to leave me,
I'll be homeless.
Speaker 2 (07:59):
And three, Hey, but you know what behind every good man,
there's a great woman.
Speaker 1 (08:04):
And that's exactly what that wife.
Speaker 3 (08:05):
Is for you, brother, Yeah, man? And also like running
Danger show said, man always looked out for number one
and don't step on number two.
Speaker 2 (08:13):
There you go, don't step on number two. Now, you
know we were just talking about this. George Lopez puts
you in Blue Beetle. You were in the movie You
people with Eddie Murphy. What is it like when you
get to work with legends of the game like Eddie
Murphy and George Lopez And do you plan on.
Speaker 1 (08:30):
Doing any any more TV shows or movies? Oh?
Speaker 3 (08:34):
Man, I was also on George Lopez Live show when
it was on TPS. I got to do my stand
up show. That's right, George Lopez when he was with
TVs and you were doing a live show. He had
like he had a lot of heat, and we were
meeting showrunners and we were meeting with writers to produce
(08:56):
Philippe as far as George Lopez show know back then,
but then he lost his show and he ended up
going in a different direction. But we saw but we
ended up working in Blue Beetles. And when I when
I was working with you people, Eddie Murphy, Eddie Murphy
came up to me in front of the whole cast
(09:17):
and told me that I am a funny mo folk bro.
I almost craft in my pants, and then everybody was
was talking about it. Andrew Shows he mentioned it on
his podcast man let me tell you man when he
(09:37):
when he said that was funny. If everybody Eddie Murphy, Man,
I forgot my line and only had one line.
Speaker 2 (09:44):
I also know that you are a die hard Rader fan.
It must be tough to be a Raider fan at
this time in life.
Speaker 3 (09:50):
Listen, bro, the Raiders are all for a decade right now.
I'm just waiting for the day that Tom Brady rips
his his five thousand dollars suit on on on Monday
on Fox Sports, right and puts on a football helmet
(10:10):
and grabs Grinkowski and then go take over the Raiders
and start winning.
Speaker 1 (10:15):
Hey, that would be crazy if that happened. If he's like,
you know what.
Speaker 3 (10:18):
Oh my god, I mean, he's a he's a being
a club owner already. He doesn't have the same rights
as a regular reporters on Fox, Fox News, Fox Sports.
He can't be in the locker room. He can't be
when they're working, when they're practicing, he can be in
the training so he on he could go there before
(10:39):
the game and after the game. He's not allowed in
the locker. Now, you might as well put on a
Raider uniform and take us to excellence.
Speaker 2 (10:47):
Man, that's right, bring the silver and Black back to excellence.
And that would be crazy if he said, you know what,
I'm just gonna do it.
Speaker 1 (10:55):
Myself. I'm bringing Gronk back.
Speaker 2 (10:56):
We just gonna do this ourselves, and we're gonna take
the Raiders to the Player into the Super Bowl.
Speaker 3 (11:02):
Hell yeah, man, and also man, he owes us for
that note, chunk Rup.
