Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey, what's going on? It is Hitman with you and
I've got Joaquin on the phone right now with Rock
Into Inclusion, a special event that's happening on April fifth,
over at the House of Roca. Doors open at six pm.
Tickets are on sale right now ten dollars online and
fifteen dollars at the door. You can get your tickets
at Texas House of Rock dot com. With lots of
great bands including like Zombie King, Fist Full of Metal, Haunt,
The Sleep, Fallen, Fears, Tilt. Joaquin, tell me a little

(00:22):
bit about Rock Into Inclusion.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
Yes, so this is going to be our second annual
Rock and two Inclusion. What we do is we host
a rock fundraising concert and the money that we raise
from the event helps us help the children and the
people of the coastal band area. We've done work in Alice, Corpus, Rockport,
just all over and this events what helps us do
all the work that we do in the coastal bend.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
Now, I remember last year you guys had for the headliner,
Shattered Sun. This year it's Zombie King, who's actually a
great band that's been around for quite some time. Tell
me about some of the bands that are performing.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
Yeah, so we're gonna have Zombie King as our headliner.
Mancos leaal of Shattered Sun is one that helps us
kind of get this lineup together. Robs Town they're going
to be our headliner. We have Fistful of Metal that's
going to be our co headliner. That's led by Tony Gomez.
If you all know him in the rock world, you'll
know that he does a lot of different bands, a
lot of different things. Fistful of Metal is just a
eighties nineties rock cover band, lots of fun stuff for everyone.

(01:16):
Before them, we're going to have Tild going on, really
fun band, great music, great sound. We're going to have
Plunt the Sleep as well. We might have a surprise
guest with them. We don't know quite yet, so I'm
not going to say who, but it might happen. And
then we also have fall in Fears, which is our
band that's from the Alice area, which is also my hometown.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
Wow wow, So it's going to be a great event.
Of course, like you said, a lot of the proceeds
will be going to rock and to inclusion. If people
want to find out more information, where online can they
go to find out your organization.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
Yes, so they can go to J two dot org.
Just the letter J letter I the number two dot org.
Dot'll pull up our website. We have all of our
information on there. If people want to follow our socials,
those are linked on the website as well on the
top right hand corner, I believe. But all of our
information is on there. We also have resources on there.
If you go to our block page, you'll find resources

(02:05):
for parents, for teachers, for everyday people in the community.
Everything's on there.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
Okay, cool? Is there any other places beside House of
Rock where people can buy tickets?

Speaker 2 (02:13):
So we only have tickets on the House of Rock website.
We're not doing any kind of brick and mortar tickets
or anything like that. Just head on over to their website.
It's the April fifth show. You'll see our poster up there.
It's kind of the dystopian looking. One click on that
and they'll pull up the tickets for the event.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
Can you tell us about some of the sponsors for
this event?

Speaker 2 (02:29):
Yeah, for sure. So we have the Remarkable Foundation and
Mark Network. It's the same person. He is our premier
sponsor for the event. Mark is a Boston Marathon bombing
survivor who will likely also be at the concert. Great
person the network with is super great person. I mean,
he's an amazing person. Outside of him, we also have
Dulcevita Tequila, so we're going to have some special drinks

(02:50):
from them on our little menu for the concert. We
also have Tito's. We're gonna have drinks for them as well.
We have Delclo Home Health. We have Texas Sports on Filters.
They do a bunch of just Longhorn things and sports
and things like that. Outside of those, we also have
Jack Snicker over in Rockport. Those are great people that
have helped us with a few events now. And I
know I am forgetting too, but I can't think of

(03:12):
who the other two are at the moment.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
