John talks about the latest flavors from Blue Bell and one that won a social media contest! Grooms Cake Ice Cream!

from Bluebell here again. My boy John's with me right now.
And I guess it's wedding season. I guess because you
guys came out with two new flavors that are perfect
for weddings, right.

It is for Bluebell, that's right. We've got Groom's Cake
and we have Bride's Cake that just came out.

Speaker 3 (00:22):
So tell me a little bit about the Grooms Cake first.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
The Grooms Cake at last they beat in twenty eighteen,
originated in twenty or two thousand and nine, and it
was a contest winner. We allowed our fan through our
social media to vote on what flavor to bring back.
I run into people every day asking you know, why
don't you make this flavor again or that flavor again,

(00:46):
and they're all good flavors to me. But we finally
we let the words speak for themselves and did a
little contest on our social media platforms.

Speaker 3 (00:55):
So Grooms Cake was the winner.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
Grooms Cake won, and we brought that back. In the
complement that flavor, we brought back the Bride's Cake also.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
Yeah, which is very interesting because the minute I took
a taste of the bride's cake, it literally tastes like
bride's cake.

Speaker 3 (01:10):
How did you do that?

Speaker 2 (01:11):
It's a great flavor. It's almond ice cream with white
cake pieces surrounded by rich almearetto cream cheese icing swirl.
It wasn't me that did that, but our company they
come up with some great flavors.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
It's it's crazy how it tasted exactly like wedding cake.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
And yeah, it just yeah it really, it was so good.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
Now these these flavors are they in stores now?

Speaker 2 (01:34):
They are in stores now. We have them both in
pints and half gallons at your favorite grocer.

Speaker 3 (01:39):
Okay, cool, Cool.
