Corpus Chrissy's Classic Kids A Big ninety three to nine. Hey,
it's hip Man with you with the lovely Sam from
the US s Lexington on the phone. Hey, Sam, how
are you?
Speaker 2 (00:07):
I am wonderful. How are you doing?
Speaker 1 (00:09):
I am doing great. Now it's that time of year again.
The US s Lexington's always got lots of great stuff
that's going on over there. And I hear since its
holiday season now again, you're gonna start showing movies again
like the Polar Express.
Speaker 2 (00:23):
Yes, you are correct. We are so excited to kickstart
the holiday season. This Saturday, November thirtieth, we are showing
Polar Express and the Joe Jessel Mega Theater aboard the
USS Lexington Museum.
Speaker 1 (00:37):
So what can people expect when they go to the
Lexington to watch the movie?
Speaker 2 (00:40):
Okay, so walking through the Hangar Bay is like walking
through a winter wonderland. We're going to have some lights,
maybe some snow, but definitely get to get you into
the holiday spirits. And it is all about the season
of being with family and of giving and this is
(01:03):
the perfect movie for it, the Polar Express. And so
when you get into the theater, we're going to have
hot chocolate, lots of yummy treats, and we're encouraging everybody
to wear their coziest pajamas. This is a very family
fun evening in our theater, and we don't show a
(01:25):
lot of movies like this during the year throughout the
theater other than what we typically show on board the
aircraft Carrier movie. So this is a special experience.
Speaker 1 (01:34):
Well, you know, especially since the cold front is going
to be coming in and it's a perfect timing for
you to start playing the Polar Express because it'll be
nice and chilly a little bit outside and people definitely yes,
with the hot chocolate and the pajamas. That actually sounds
really good. Now now you're making me think of marshmallows.
I don't know why there.
Speaker 2 (01:52):
Will be marshmallows. And definitely we plan we plan the
weather for this too. I'm glad you pointed that out.
Speaker 1 (01:59):
Yes, okay, So how much is it to come and
see the movie? Okay?
Speaker 2 (02:04):
So for our members, museum members and military, tickets are
twenty dollars a person. For non museum members, they're thirty
dollars and tickets can only be purchased online right now
through Friday. To go to USS Lexington dot com. First
thing that will pop up is an image about the event.
You click on that and it'll take you to the
(02:25):
ticket page. We have limited seating since this is in
our Mega theater. We have one hundred and eighty nine
seats available, so this has sold out when we've had
this event before. So if you want to get tickets,
get them now.
Speaker 1 (02:40):
So the other question I need to ask you though,
of course you're going to show Pollar Express in the
movie theater. Are there going to be other movies down
the road that you'll be also showing? Also?
Speaker 2 (02:49):
Well, we will have our Breakfast with Santa on December fourteenth,
and part of that event is showing The Grinch, the
original Grinch movie in the theater as well.
Speaker 1 (03:01):

especially right after Thanksgiving, this is perfect. Yeah, Polar Express

And of course, what a better way than with the
Cold Front coming in and Polar Express on the big screen.
And now you got me thinking about hot chocolate and
I'm craving it so bad now I think I'm gonna
(03:42):
