You can hit that on the talk back feature of
the free iHeartRadio app. And we're the NFL Draft coming up.

Chi chain a ninety eight rock.
Speaker 1 (04:10):
When you need a nugget, a nugget of inspiration, this
is your daily nugget with Crash and aj.
Speaker 4 (04:19):
A ninety eight rock right your daily nugget here for
the twenty fourth of April twenty twenty five National Well,
I'll just read it, make a bucket list and fill
it with dreams that have no boundaries. It's a quote
from a Nett White.
Speaker 2 (04:38):
Just look that up.
Speaker 4 (04:39):
Because we were just talking about the bucket list and
National bucket List Day?
Speaker 2 (04:43):
But why not have you.
Speaker 4 (04:44):
Ever checked off a bucket list item? M? I'll be
thinking yourself, you know why, I really haven't ever checked
off a bucket list item? And if you look back
and you do some inventory, you've probably had some chances
to check one of those off. One thing you've never
done before, Do something you've always wanted to do. It
doesn't have to be something that costs.
Speaker 2 (05:03):
A lot of money. Think about that.
Speaker 4 (05:09):
What's a bucket list item that you can achieve in
the near future? Planet schedule it. There's tons of things
you could do that don't cost a lot of money.
You think about bucket list items, you think, eh, that's
gonna cost too much money. But there really are some
things that you could do that are gonna cost you
(05:30):
a lot of money that you can check off. Take
that inventory, and maybe this is on the talk back feature,
you know, have you ever achieved a bucket list item.
How was it? How was the experience? Yeah, make a
bucket list and fill it with dreams that have no boundaries.
A quote from a net White.
Speaker 2 (05:48):
If you can, somehow, some way take that in your day,
my friends, that's your daily nugget.
Speaker 4 (05:52):
Right of course, one thousand dollars, your thirteen chances to
win today, including the first chance coming up with crashing
j at nine ten am. Sure you make us number
one your presets, all right? Yeah, those reminders and everything
you need to know about winning money.
Speaker 5 (06:06):
Yeah, Kimberly, p Ryan b Lisa H Marcus, Danny D.
I don't want to give all their names out full names,
but those were just some of the winners yesterday. And
hopefully we could, you know, be calling your name out
today too.
Speaker 4 (06:19):
We'd be one of the thirteen winners of one thousand dollars.
All right, make us number one your presets. We'll see
you at nine ten am this morning. We're drafting winners today,
drafting winners today.
Speaker 5 (06:28):
Yeah, and one thing's for sure, you got to make
sure that you answer that phone call, just like when
you're trying to get drafted. You know, you got to
be there answering the phone call during DRAFTA. Anybody that's
gone up for that, You got to be ready to
answer that phone call too. That says spam. I know
nobody ever wants to answer that call, but that could
be the call. It always says something different, different for
everybody with their carriers. But it'll never see any of
(06:48):
our names. Never say ninety at rock, Never say I
heard radio.
Speaker 2 (06:50):
You know I'll add to that.
Speaker 4 (06:52):
Just roll some video while you answer the phone call,
just in case too, you know, just like the draftees do.
Get that reaction on your face there who knows? All right?
Speaker 2 (07:00):
So your chance coming up nine ten am this morning, take.
Speaker 4 (07:03):
Advantage of it, Take advantage of all thirteen three days grace,
never too late, it's crashing AJ good morning.
Speaker 2 (07:09):
We're ninety eight rock po.
Speaker 3 (07:11):
Thank you, ma'am.
Speaker 2 (07:11):
I'm joying for heyja in the morning. Quickie on ninety

Speaker 8 (07:15):
Brought you by bar Joe Ford, right to eighty seven
on the coast, nineties plus as you go in when
there are seventy one degrees right now with the sunrise
at six point fifty six sundown around.
Speaker 4 (07:29):

By the way, next chance rain Sunday, twenty percent chance
it's dry.
Speaker 2 (07:38):
Good morning, Good morning.
Speaker 5 (07:41):
I don't know if you guys saw, but I got
some more information coming Outpe about Pope Francis, which yesterday
his body was moved to Saint Peter's where he will
be lying in state for three days, so that way
the public can pay their respects. Now, the funeral is
scheduled for Saturday at ten am local time. It's about
three o'clock east three am Eastern time over in Saint
Pete's Square, Saint Peter's Square. But as of last night,
(08:03):
around twenty five thousand people had already visited Saint Peter's
Square to pay their respects. Now they do expect the
number to increase, and given the large turnout, they're actually
thinking of maybe extending their opening hours for people to
come in and pay their respects, which as of now
it looks like the established time is till midnight. They
(08:26):
have until midnight, but no word on what hours they're
thinking of maybe keeping it, if it's going to be
a twenty four hour thing or what. One thing we
do know, you know, President Trump announced that him and
Millennia were planning on attending the services this weekend. However,
looks like Vice President jad Vance will not be attending.
Our quote unquote is not currently planning to attend the
(08:46):
funeral Pope Francis on Saturday, but he is saddened by
his death.
Speaker 2 (08:50):
It's hard to.
Speaker 4 (08:51):
It's it's hard to have to the vice president and
the president in one place, one time. Security reasons.
Speaker 5 (08:58):
Just hop you just sell you just saw him.
Speaker 2 (09:00):
Yeah, yeah, we won't get into that.
Speaker 3 (09:03):
You don't want to return to the seat of the crime.
Speaker 5 (09:05):
Well, thanks for sure. Of the one hundred and thirty
five cardinals eligible to vote to elect a new pope,
two have already said that they will not be attending
due to health reasons.
Speaker 2 (09:15):
I gotta draft the pope now too. I mean, how
there we go? Are you gonna have the commissioner doing that?
Speaker 4 (09:22):
Or what's the deal all right with the first post?
Speaker 5 (09:28):
Well, you know, they've got a couple that they black
smoke for and I haven't figured it out, but well,
thanks for sure. Ghosts released a new song yesterday called
peace Field, and some people are saying it sounds a
lot like this song right here up Journey Separate Ways. Ah, Yes,
(10:00):
that's what people are comparing it to let's see if
you feel the same way about it.
Speaker 4 (10:14):
It's Steve Perry under the outfit.
Speaker 5 (10:19):
Now, if you listen to the whole thing, there's a
lot that doesn't sound anything like Journey. But that right
that part right there, I could see why there's a comparison.
Speaker 7 (10:28):
I mean, they might have to they might have to
stand up in court and say, I swear we didn't
do that.
Speaker 5 (10:33):
Listen to the whole song and it's definitely not separate ways.
So Jill Roll has been very honest about his past,
and he served time for drug crimes and still's a
felony conviction for aggravated assault on his record, but it
might be changing. The Tennessee Border Parole just recommended that
he received a full part in, meaning his past crimes
(10:54):
would be abolished from his record. Okay, Now, even though
he's famous because of this, so he still has trouble
traveling because of his felony conviction. You know, performing shows
abroad has been a huge hurdle. But if his crimes
do get expunged, he would be able to do that.
Speaker 4 (11:11):
Then a Jelly World tour. It seems like Jelly Roll
has already been on a world tour, be honest with you.
But yeah, but yeah, I didn't think about the touring
part of that whole thing. So he's done a lot
of good inspiration for a lot of people.
Speaker 5 (11:26):
Yeah, he's got a lot of different businesses between you know,
he does a lot, he goes out to a lot
of prisons, you know it, does a lot of speeches.
He's also you know, not speeches, but you know, talking
with inmates, also opening up different programs at various prisons
with ut with the singing and recording, and then he
even has the food truck business and that he only
hires people that have been former convicts.
Speaker 3 (11:45):
Yeah. Yeah, if you're helping the community out and seems
like he is.
Speaker 2 (11:50):
We'll sign it. If you bring it to us, we'll
sign it.
Speaker 5 (11:53):
Be okay, as of the first rock station here in
the country to help play and promote jelly roll, we
definitely sign off on that.
Speaker 3 (11:59):
I deserve to sign off on it.
Speaker 5 (12:01):
So NASA's Messenger spacecraft has sent back data suggesting that
Mercury might have a diamond layer up to ten miles
thick beneath its crust. Scientists believe that Mercury's early history
a carbon rich magma ocean cooled, causing a lighter carbon
to rise and form graphite on the surface, while heavier
carbon sank and crystallized into diamond at that core mantle boundary.
(12:26):
Could you imagine ten miles thick?
Speaker 2 (12:29):
How Star Wars starts.
Speaker 4 (12:30):
They find out there's some mineral on the planet and
everybody wants to get there, and the first one there.
Speaker 2 (12:35):
Wins with Mars.
Speaker 5 (12:36):
It's all going to be mercury now, yeah.
Speaker 4 (12:38):
And then they start battling over it. That's basically how
Star Wars.
Speaker 5 (12:41):
Started, and actors have had to do some pretty early
things for some movies. We've got a list of some
of the gross stuff from behind the scenes, including Nicole
Kidman had to actually pee on Zach Effron in the
jellyfish scene in The Paper Boy.
Speaker 2 (12:57):
Really it was real.
Speaker 3 (12:58):
It was real because.
Speaker 5 (12:59):
We're see the movie Vampires kiss with a Nicholas cage. No,
so if you didn't, well, he ate a live cockroach
for that film.
Speaker 2 (13:07):
He ate a lot a live cockroach.
Speaker 5 (13:09):
You got that right?
Speaker 4 (13:10):
Oh my god, it just makes me nauseated thinking about it.
Speaker 5 (13:13):
How about this one. Will Ferrell had to film the
spaghetti scene in Elf twice. He ended up getting sick
during the first taken. You imagine there's a.
Speaker 4 (13:21):
Lot that just sounds.
Speaker 7 (13:24):
I could do it three times. Spaghetti, what syrup, A
bunch of stuff?
Speaker 5 (13:30):
I mean, Christian bale ate, real maggots and rescue dong
I can't even imagine. And Rain Wilson would eat something
smelly like a tuna sandwich before he had to film
kissing scenes with Angela Kinsey for the Office.
Speaker 7 (13:45):
Yeah, I love, I love when they I heard Cameron
Diaz would do that too, And she'd do kissing scenes.
Speaker 3 (13:51):
She'd like eat onions or oh gosh, something.
Speaker 4 (13:54):
Disgusting you wouldn't know that's on this wall in the shower,
or take a bath for two weeks to get into
character for Jungle Fever.
Speaker 2 (14:03):
I never saw that movie, but thanks.
Speaker 3 (14:05):
And how about this.
Speaker 5 (14:06):
During the family dinner scene in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre,
the table was set with the real rotting animal carcasses
are Could you imagine the smell of that? Now add
this to it. They filmed for twenty six straight hours
in over a hundred degree heat.
Speaker 4 (14:21):
Oh geez, phenomenal.
Speaker 2 (14:22):
There you go. I hope someone got paid for those
hard paycheck. That's why you get the big paycheck and
it looks so real. Oh my god, it is real.
Speaker 4 (14:32):
All right, so we got for you. Would you like
to comment on any of this stuff? Interact with us?
Use that red microphone right there. Hit that and you

Making this number one your presets. And it is draft
Day twenty twenty five. We thought we'd have some fun
(14:54):
with our own draft format here in the ninety eight
rock studio.
Speaker 5 (14:59):
Yeah right, So we're to be doing is drafting our
own band. Four slots, and we're gonna go around and
each you know, make sure we draft, you know, between singer, drummer, guitarist,
and bass player.
Speaker 4 (15:11):
Okay, who's got the number one? Who will have the
number one pick?
Speaker 5 (15:14):
I don't know. Should we do some rock paper scissors
for that?
Speaker 2 (15:16):
All right, let's do.
Speaker 5 (15:20):
That's gonna be interesting maybe, yeah, right now, right, rock
paper scissors. Shoot my rock beats scissors. All right, I'm out,
all right ready, So taking on, all right, producer acts,
here we go, rock paper scissor.
Speaker 8 (15:36):

tie it Rock Rock paper Scissors shoots up.
Speaker 3 (15:44):
There we go.
Speaker 4 (15:45):
Finally the number one pick a band draft here all right.
So he's got the number two pick. I got the
number three pick.
Speaker 5 (15:54):
All right, definitely, And of course, speaking of the draft
over forget we are your home of the Bucks, and
tonight at seven pm we were with live from Raymond
James Stadium. We got Pat Donovan and Nick Wi so
they'll be hosting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, you know, portion
of the draft and course with all the draft actions
starting an eight pm right here in ninety eight Rock.

to mars a ninety eight Rock.
Speaker 2 (16:17):
All right, this should be interesting.
Speaker 4 (16:19):
It's crashing aja band draft going on on draft day
twenty twenty five right here on ninety eight Rock Live.
Speaker 5 (16:26):
Yeah, So producer Ranks has got the first pick, I've
got the second, Crash the third, and with each round
you're open to picking whoever. But we only get four
slots to choose, so figure out within those four slots
what you want to be. I don't know unless you wanted,
you know, four bases, go for it.
Speaker 2 (16:40):
Yeah, you know.
Speaker 4 (16:41):
And if you're out there with talkback technology on your
on the app there, if you want to comment on
whether it was a good or bad pick or not,
you can go ahead and do that on the talkback
feature of the free iHeartRadio app for all you armchair
quarterbacks out there for the draft. All right, so we
did rock paper scissors to determine the first pick. Earlier
producer Rex gets the first pick in the first round
(17:01):
of the Crash and a J Band Draft.
Speaker 7 (17:04):
That's right, and the pick is already in ladies and gentlemen,
right with the first pick in the Crash and.
Speaker 3 (17:10):
A J Band Draft, I'm gonna go with a.
Speaker 4 (17:13):
Guitarist, okay, backup vocals, oh okay, and we're leading it
off with Prince Haa.
Speaker 7 (17:23):
Is gonna be my guitars, baby, and then you.
Speaker 3 (17:27):
Here, I'm pairing them up with as my front man.
It's all gonna make sense. It's all gonna make sense.
Speaker 4 (17:32):
Yeah, that's a great number one pick. God, I'm really
jealous right now because that was yours, wasn't it, right?
A J's got your first pick in the first round.
Colleen sucks.
Speaker 5 (17:47):
All right, Oh man, oh, I'm up right now. All right,
let's see here. I didn't think we were going on
right now.
Speaker 2 (17:58):
What do you mean you didn't think we were going

Speaker 5 (18:00):

think I was going on. You're going you're up? Okay, crash, okay, crash.
Let's see here. You know what, I'm gonna go ahead
with my first pick, the late legendary Chris Cornell.
Speaker 2 (18:15):
Oh it's singer. Damn you guys both suck?
Speaker 3 (18:20):
Do you pick both ears? All right, you're on the
clock there, man, all.
Speaker 4 (18:23):

AJ makes an equally solid pick with Chris Cornell.
Speaker 2 (19:28):
Crash goes out.
Speaker 9 (19:29):
On the limb and takes a sleeper with John Fente
from the Red Hot Chili Peppers. He has an amazing
guitar player with solid skills, but a bit of a
diva on the backside. We'll see how things go when
it comes time to make the second or third album.
Speaker 4 (19:45):
Yeah, the reliabil in John for Shonte. He's dipped in
and out of the Chili Peppers, so it would be
it might be a little bit of a matter down
the road, but I'm still sticking with him, all right.
It's f I trade him in the second round. We
got a second round pick coming up just a little bit,
so if you have suggestions or you want to comment.

Speaker 5 (20:30):

jealous of the first two picks here. We're now to
the next pick the band draft Here, producers, who are
you picking with the second selection or the first selection
in the second round?
Speaker 7 (20:44):
All right, my second selection, the pick is in. I'm
going with on the drums, mister Dave Groll Roll on
the drums. Okay, you look at my draft. I'm not
looking at any drafts. I'm looking at my draft sheet
right now. It's got Prince and Dave girl together again
not again for the first time ever.
Speaker 4 (21:05):
AJ with the second second round, first second pick.
Speaker 2 (21:11):
Trust you right now.
Speaker 5 (21:13):
Hey, it's your draft. You choose who you want, who
is available? Which great choice on Dave girl Man. That
was one I was considering. But now the pick is
in Team J second round for the twenty twenty five
rock band draft. I go with the one and only
on the guitars slash slash.
Speaker 2 (21:32):
I like that solid, I like that.

We still got two more positions in our band draft.
We'll cover that the rest of the show. It's time
for real sports right now.
Speaker 5 (22:37):
Yeah, Which, Tampa Bay won its first road game of
the year last night, beating the Arizona Diamondbacks seven to
six in eleven Inags.
Speaker 6 (22:45):
Oh.
Speaker 2 (22:46):
They got overtime pay for that one man.
Speaker 5 (22:47):
It was a slow fuss with six lead changes and
it was just a second time in fifty seven Raise
games where both teams scored six runs or more. Taj
Bradley started for the Rais, kept them in the game,
allowing three runs in the sixth inning. Rais needed five
relievers to finish out the game. Which they're now ten
and fourteen on the season and seven and three against
National League foes. Of course, they'll be wrapping up this
(23:09):
series in Phoenix tonights with Drew Roussmussen taking the mound,
and then they're off to San Diego for a weekend
series against the Padres.
Speaker 4 (23:17):
And it kind of the storyline, a talking point kind
of continues on these two teams that came into the
league at the same time that keep their stats are.
Career stats are pretty similar, real really similar. So with
that win last night, both teams have the exact same
record pretty much been coming expansion back in the day.
Speaker 5 (23:35):
The yeah, overall wins pretty wild there, man. While the
NBA Playoffs last night, the Cavaliers defeated the Miami Heat
won twenty one to one twelve, The Rockets defeated the
Golden State Warriors one oh nine to ninety four, and
the Celtics defeated the Magic one oh nine to one hundred.
Speaker 4 (23:51):
Hell I need some help, man, all I'm saying, yeah,
it was not good.
Speaker 5 (23:54):
Which three games do make up tonight's slate of NBA
playoff action, including the Knicks at the Pissons at seven,
He got the Oklahoma City Thunder taken on the Grizzlies,
which the Thunder lead the series two to nothing on
that nine thirty PM, and the Nuggets sent the Clippers
at ten tonight. Meanwhile, four games make up tonight's arsenal
of games that the NHLs lined up for our playoffs,
(24:17):
including the Winnipeg Jacks at the Saint Louis Blues, the
Vegas Golden Knights at the Minnesota wild Toronto maple leafs
taken on the Ottawa Senators and of course the Florida
Panthers here at Amily Arena against our Lightning six thirty pm.
Speaker 3 (24:31):
Pup drop.
Speaker 5 (24:32):
Nice to see an early one, especially when we have
the NFL Draft happening later. But you know, our Bolts
look to even the series against the Panthers before they
hit the road for games three and Row three and
four over at Sunrise. But you know, despite losing six
to two, we ended up out shooting Florida twenty two
to sixteen on Tuesday.
Speaker 2 (24:51):
Play well, they just played real well.
Speaker 5 (24:53):
Yeah, we are going to be missing all of our
York stand b York Strand once again he's out due
to a lower body injury.
Speaker 4 (25:02):
With the nineteenth pick, will be a lot of people
at the draft be watching the Lightning game simultaneously.
Speaker 5 (25:07):
Oh yeah, and yesterday it was announced that Hall of
Famer Steve Mongo McMichael of the Chicago Bears Fame passed
away yesterday after a battle with als. He' you know,
part of the Fame forty six defense of the nineteen eighties.
I use a defensive tackle one of Super Bowl was
twice selected First Team All Pro and to the Pro Bowl.
(25:30):
He had at least seven sacks in seven straight seasons,
which was second among Bears players.
Speaker 4 (25:36):
I mean the defensive line that had with him and
Richard Denton, all this big that was Perry. I mean,
that was crazy, crazy, historic lineup right there.
Speaker 5 (25:46):
Yeah, rest in peace. And of course, tonight's Round one
of the NFL Draft commences at eight pm. You can
catch it on ABC, ESPN and right here on your
home for the Bucks ninety eight rock which our coverage
is going to begin at seven pm with Pat Donovan
and Nick wise As will be broadcasting live from Raymond
James Stadium, and you'll be able to hear every single pick,
(26:06):
including the Buccaneers who've got number nineteen.
Speaker 4 (26:10):
Yeah, I mean the draft needs right now for Bucks
edge rusher, inside linebacker, corner. There's been a lot of
talk about receivers, so it's gonna be interesting to see.
Speaker 2 (26:21):
But then again, we know.
Speaker 4 (26:23):
Jason Lyte likes to grab an offensive tackle every once
in a while too, something it's gonna be interesting.
Speaker 2 (26:29):
Or will they trade the pick?
Speaker 5 (26:31):
Yeah, there's been quite a few rumors on that too.
Speaker 4 (26:34):
Rashad White's name has come up as far as trade talks.
So there's been a lot of rumors. You don't know
if those are smoke screens or not, but you know,
we'll see what happens. Man, It's gonna be interesting see
what they do with that pick. Tonight Titans started off
with the number one pick. Which direction will they go?
Where they go with cam order? Will they surprise everybody
and go rogue on this one?
Speaker 2 (26:55):
Who knows?
Speaker 3 (26:55):
John Trashanti.
Speaker 2 (26:58):
First rowd?
Speaker 4 (27:00):
All right, that's what we got for. You got a
couple songs away from Florida and Out Florida. We'll also
continue our band draft on the show a little later
on on the show, so look out for that and
check out our socials at Crash and AJ. Here's Blink one,
two and ninety eight rock.
Speaker 2 (27:14):
This is where she gets weird. Man, it's weird man.
This could be your neighbor, bro or your.
Speaker 9 (27:20):
Cousin in Nebraska.
Speaker 8 (27:22):
This is Florida or not Florida with Crash eight Rock.
Speaker 4 (27:28):
All right, Nick's our next contestant on Florida and out Florida?
Speaker 2 (27:31):
Where you came from? Logo? All right, Largo's checking in
on Florida, Up Florida, A j Gotta love it.
Speaker 5 (27:37):
Welcome morning, Nick and Welcome to Florida or not Florida,
where today's story starts with our superstar, a thirty three
year old USPS driver named Caitlin See. Caitlin was just
arrested for DUI while on duty. Okay, and she must
have been bloozed. See. Witnesses called police when they say
they saw a USPS meal truck not only driving the
(28:00):
wrong way on a road, but they also reported that
she nearly hit multiple vehicles, was swerving in the lane,
and was even seen throwing a plastic cup out of
the vehicle. Well, when officers pulled Caitlin over, they noticed
that she quote unquote appeared confused and disoriented, and she
even failed to field sobriety test. Now, when a cop
(28:22):
asked her if she'd been drinking, she admitted, yeah, you know,
I was invited to a house party on the route. Yeah,
so I went in and had two shots of vodka.
Speaker 4 (28:32):
Why not.
Speaker 5 (28:34):
They also asked her about the cup thrown out a vehicle,
and she said it was just water that she used
to swish in her mouth so she wouldn't smell like alcohol.
Speaker 2 (28:40):
Oh, she's thinking ahead at least on that that part.
How far ahead?
Speaker 4 (28:45):
Little foresight?
Speaker 2 (28:45):
There.
Speaker 4 (28:46):
But uh, there's holes in this whole story.
Speaker 3 (28:49):
I don't like it.
Speaker 2 (28:50):
Nick.
Speaker 4 (28:50):
We're gonna give it to you. We're gonna We're gonna
let you take it from here. What are you thinking
on this one?
Speaker 2 (28:55):
I think it's Florida.
Speaker 5 (28:57):
You think it's Florida. Well, you know, Nick, we've had
five Florida superstars this month and Caitlin makes it number six.
It is Florida, happen in Melbourne.
Speaker 4 (29:07):
Is it wrong to leave out a little I'll call
now for the postal worker after hearing this story, Abe
to show your appreciation.
Speaker 2 (29:16):
Is that grizzly?
Speaker 5 (29:17):
I mean unless if they want to become a superstar
with Florida on Florida.
Speaker 7 (29:21):
They're going to make their own decisions. I mean, used
invite them into the house party you want to grab dogs.
Speaker 4 (29:25):
I'm not invite them in for a house party. Might
leave some beer out there by my mailbox?
Speaker 5 (29:29):
Possibly, Well, Nick, we're going to leave you a nice
pair of tickets to experience Billy Idol and Joe Jet.
They are coming to the Amp May with what radio station.
Speaker 2 (29:38):
In the Rocks to day ninety eight?
Speaker 4 (29:41):
Rock people start planning their vacations right around this time
of year. And one thousand dollars would really up the
old vacation budget. So if you if you would like
to have an opportunity, matter of fact, thirteen opportunities. Your
first one start at nine ten am.
Speaker 5 (29:55):
All right, yeah, So would you hear that keyword, make
sure you enter it at ninety eight Rock, and most importantly,
be ready to answer the phone call that could say spam,
the call that says restricted. It's gonna say a lot
of things. But I'll never see any of our names,
never ninety eight Rock, not even I hurt on it.
Why is that important? Because well, this could be you
(30:15):
on the other end. Oh my god, you don't even know.
That's so awfume, I feel amazing.
Speaker 2 (30:23):
I'm at work looking around going.
Speaker 4 (30:27):
Col workers are like she's experiencing workers high right now.
You know they won't be no wise to be happy
about yous all the time. So your opportunity to do
that coming up nine ten am will be the first
of thirteen opportunities here at ninety eight Rock.
Speaker 2 (30:41):
All day long, it's spring ch ching who good morning?
Speaker 4 (30:46):
Wad for in the morning?
Speaker 2 (30:49):
Quickie on ninety a Rock, brought to you by Barjo Ford.
Speaker 4 (30:52):
I'm seventy three right now here in Clearwater and looks
like a high of ninety Inland eighty seven on the coast.
I've been saying that for the last three days.
Speaker 5 (31:03):
Aja, excuse me, good morning. The bonnie of Pope Francis
was moved to Saint Peter's yesterday. Well, he'll be lying
in state for three days to allow the public to
pay their respects now. The funeral is scheduled for this
Saturday at ten am Local time, just about three am
Eastern and Saint Peter's Square, and so far, as of
last night, around twenty five thousand people had already visited
(31:26):
Saint Peter's Square to pay their final respects Now. Officials
do expect the number to increase, and given the large turnout,
they're actually thinking of maybe extending the opening hours which
it's currently open and soil about midnight. United States Vice
President JD. Vance told media yesterday that he is not
currently planning to attend the funeral of Pope Francis on Saturday,
(31:47):
but he is sad and by his death. Meanwhile, while
President Trump did stay that him and Milania were making
plans to attend this weekend, Gene Simmons say, if you've
ever wanted to live like a rockstar. If that's on
your bucket list, well, here's one way to accomplish that.
If you have the cash, you could purchase Gene Simmons home.
He just put his Beverly Hills mansion on the on
(32:09):
the market for just under fourteen million dollars. The seven thousand,
seven hundred and forty one square foot hillside home includes
an eighteen hundred square foot deck, a state of the
art kitchen, upstairs gallery space, home theater, a forty foot
black lined infinity pool and spa, alongside an outdoor of
veranda and amazing views which there's a lot of Florida
(32:32):
ceiling windows in there. He said, that's one of his
favorite things. He was just waking up join a nice
cup of coffee in the bed and seeing those ocean
views from his bed.
Speaker 4 (32:41):
Yeah, it's before he wakes up and wipes all the
makeup off his pillows. Stuff like that.
Speaker 3 (32:47):
Men reapplies.
Speaker 4 (32:48):
Yep.
Speaker 5 (32:50):
So Jelly Roll might be getting part in from the
Tennessee Board of Parole. They just recommended that he received
a full part in maating his past crimes. Would no
lung be on his record now? In case you didn't
know he's served time for drug crimes and is still
and still has a felony conviction for aggravated assault on
his record, and he's been very open and honest about
his past. But even though he is famous, he can't
(33:12):
travel because of his felony conviction. He can't go doing
shows out of the country. That's been a huge hurdle
for himself his past crimes. Do you get a spunge?
That would be a massive weight off of his shoulders
and his touring schedule.
Speaker 4 (33:25):
And didn't realize that was a barrier for him because
he's it seems like he's been on world tour for
a while now, but it's only been in the United States.
Speaker 5 (33:34):
So he's also voting quite a few things.
Speaker 2 (33:37):
Yeah, there's that big check mark.
Speaker 3 (33:40):
Got to fill that out on the application.
Speaker 4 (33:42):
Okay, has he done enough good stuff to be pardoned?
Can we get a I think sign off in the
studio here?
Speaker 3 (33:49):
Why not pardon people for less?
Speaker 4 (33:52):
I'd sign off on that.
Speaker 5 (33:55):
So artificial intelligence? Have you guys tried to using it recently?
Chat GPT? I know you do a lot.
Speaker 7 (34:01):
I'm pretty sure I use it a lot. It actually
just made me a graphic for my make believe band
that we're drafting.
Speaker 2 (34:09):
Everything.
Speaker 4 (34:09):
You're doing an album cover for I got an album
cover and everything. I think you might be the most
prepared for this draft this morning.
Speaker 3 (34:15):
I'm ready, man, I'm in draft mode, all right.
Speaker 5 (34:17):
Speak for yourself. If someone on threads has figured it
out that you can top any nonsensical phrase into Google
and add the word meaning on to the end, and
the AI over you AI overview will define it for
you as if it's something real. For example, someone googled
this made up piece of quote unquote wisdom. It says
quote you can't lick a badger twice with meaning, and
(34:39):
Google AI said the idiotum, you can't lick a badger
twice means you can't trick or deceive somewhat a second
time after they've been tricked once. It's a warning that
if someone has already been deceived, they'll unlikely to fall.
They're unlikely to fall for it again. So now people
are just trying to have all sorts of fun with
this nonsense and just type meaning at the end of it. M.
Speaker 2 (35:01):
How long is that? A?
Speaker 4 (35:01):
How long is that before it gets to Wikipedia and
all of a sudden, all the information it's.
Speaker 3 (35:06):
All just routed.
Speaker 4 (35:07):
AI grabs it.
Speaker 3 (35:08):
Think it's real putting it on there in.
Speaker 2 (35:10):
The New History of the Planet and everything.
Speaker 5 (35:13):
Yeah, and a man in Ireland recently lost his collar
for close to three weeks after he forgot where he
parked it for a bachelor party.
Speaker 3 (35:22):
Oh that's fantastic.
Speaker 5 (35:24):
He was able to find it all thanks to a
radio show in the city of Cork. He hopped on,
fled for help and with a minute a listener found it.
Speaker 2 (35:33):
Funny power of the radio.
Speaker 5 (35:34):
God, I love it, he said. He was obviously getting
a load of abuse about it from his friends, but
they were also good to him, offered him lifts while
his car was missing, and you know, all chipped in
and tried to help help him find it.
Speaker 4 (35:47):
Could I help this guy?
Speaker 2 (35:49):
Loo Jack?
Speaker 4 (35:51):
Why the mall at Christmas and like done the Walk
of shame? Oh yeah, where you're looking around for your vehicle.
Oh take a picture of the little sign but it's not.
Speaker 5 (36:02):
Yeah, it's like, dude, where's my car?
Speaker 2 (36:06):
Real live, dude, where's my car?
Speaker 7 (36:07):
It reminds me of the episode of Seinfeld where they
get lost in the parking deck for like a day
and a half trying to find all right, we got
the third and fourth rounds to our Crashing AJ Band
draft coming up. If you missed the first two rounds,
we'll catch you up with that as well as a
thousand dollars keyword coming up at nine.
Speaker 2 (36:25):
Ten am, All right about.
Speaker 4 (36:26):
A fire up your ninety eight at nine, but first
on draft day twenty twenty five, in case you've missed
it earlier. Previously on Crash and AJ two rounds of
the Crashing AJ Band Draft have been done.
Speaker 5 (36:38):
All right, Yes, which Scott has got first pick? I
have second? I'm sorry, Producer X has got first pick.
Speaker 3 (36:43):
I have second.
Speaker 5 (36:44):
Crash is draft pick number three, and so far Producer
X is drafted Prince as well as Dave Grohl. I
have chosen Chris Cornell and Slash. Well, Crash has chosen
John F. Shanti and James Hetfield.
Speaker 4 (36:59):
Okay, all right, So with the first pick in the
third round of the Crash and A J Band Draft,
there's the pick in here.
Speaker 7 (37:07):
All right, guys, I think the pick is in and
this might be one of my more controversial picks. All right,
we are going in the bassist realm here, and this
one's gonna be off the wall from a little.
Speaker 10 (37:21):
Known band that we all maybe knowing love. Oof.
Speaker 5 (37:33):
That's fantastic.
Speaker 4 (37:34):
Really packed your calculators, we're taking it today. You really
packed your calculator for this draft, didn't you?
Speaker 3 (37:40):
Ready?
Speaker 7 (37:41):
Right?
Speaker 5 (37:42):
That's fantastic, all right, all right? And guess what with
my to join my lineup of Chris Cornell and Slash.
I am choosing the late legendary John Bottom on the
drums on drums.
Speaker 4 (38:01):
Okay, nice, nice, a classic pick there shaping up well.
Speaker 2 (38:06):
That band.
Speaker 4 (38:09):
I believe, picks to you, Crash, You're on the clock.
The pick is in right now, picks in, picks in.
Speaker 2 (38:14):
Right now, all right.
Speaker 4 (38:17):
With my third pick in the first round or the
first pick in the third round, third pick, I'm proposing
a trade to produce X right now, Producer, I would
like to offer up James Headfield for Prince in this
trade right now, James Headfield for Prince. You've got three Mississippi, please,
(38:39):
I've got three Mississippi.
Speaker 7 (38:41):
Uh, three Mississippi two Mississippi.
Speaker 4 (38:44):
Accepted, accepted, all right, I'll take it. Take I take
on Prince. And with this third pick, I'm gonna go
ahead and pick Travis Barker on drums with this pick
right now, Raft day Draft Day deal right.
Speaker 5 (39:03):
Now and see that one comments please.
Speaker 4 (39:05):
For headfield Prince for head Papa ahead. That was strong
right there. All right, the drama continues here and we'll
see how this final round shapes up during your ninety
eight nine Wow crash Say yes, did you? I'm so
happy right now, I'm gonna should send you five dollars
in your apple pace.
Speaker 7 (39:22):
I'll take a cash consideration along with it.
Speaker 2 (39:25):
Is the Chili Peppers on ninety eight Rock.
Speaker 4 (39:30):
Ah, yes, Lashing Pumpkins on ninety eight Rock. And you're
minutes away from that nationwide spring chitchin keyword. Why not
take a chance of using your thumbs and enter those
a ninety eight Rock dot com coming up minutes away,
and then you wait for the thousand dollars phone call?
Speaker 2 (39:43):
All right?
Speaker 5 (39:43):
Yeah, that phone call usually happens just after the beginning
of the next hour, and it'll say spam, it could
say restricted. It'll never say any of our names on there.
Speaker 4 (39:51):
Okay, what we learned this part of the shows what
we do nine to thirty crash tests. We got the
Jolly Roll tickets we're giving away Country Thunder, So stay
in your he could be one of these items we're
talking about aj.
Speaker 5 (40:02):
You know, I learned that Mercury might be the hot
new destination for uh, you know, people trying to travel
to or at least when it comes to you know,
everybody that can get there via space travel. As NASA
thinks that Mercury might have a diamond layer up to
ten miles thick.
Speaker 2 (40:17):
That is crazy.
Speaker 4 (40:18):
Yeah, next most plentiful place for diamonds. International Diamond Center.
It's stone out there, all right.
Speaker 5 (40:28):
I'm you producer. I learned today.
Speaker 7 (40:29):
Oh man, I'm kind of torn on what I did
learn because I learned a few things. But I learned that,
you know, AI is going to trick you into thinking
the BS is real.
Speaker 2 (40:37):
Oh man, this kind of they just put.
Speaker 7 (40:38):
Meaning after anything and it'll give you a little snapshot.
I mean, I use CHADGBT for everything. You know, makes
makes up some wild stories for me sometimes. But uh,
you know, I don't think this is gonna it's gonna
work out very well. I think it's gonna end up
skewing a lot of information on the Internet.
Speaker 2 (40:56):
It's gonna end up on Wikipedia.
Speaker 4 (40:57):
Then people go, no, it's facts because everything's fat so Wikipedia.
Speaker 5 (41:01):
Oh yeah, it's kind of r How about you crash.
Speaker 4 (41:04):
I learned that tonight's NFL Draft could be one of
the wildest ones we've seen. I don't think there's a
front runner in any category tonight, even at the top
pick at number one, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with nineteen,
I think they could trade this pick for some reason,
whether it's traded to get somebody closer to number one
(41:26):
or further away with some more picks. I'm just kind
of really just kind of twisting my nads on this one.
Speaker 5 (41:37):
Yeah, no, I feel you there. Which We're so excited.
We're going to be broadcasting live from Raymond James Stadium
starting at seven pm tonight. You're in ninety eight Rock
as we are your home for the Bucks, and we're
gonna have Pat Donovan and Nick Wise will be hosting
it starting at seven with all the previews and then
of course the actual draft kicking off at eight pm
right here in ninety eight Rock.
Speaker 2 (41:55):
I don't know where I got that analogy, by the way, just.
Speaker 5 (41:59):
Was it did that? Meaning? The end of it is
that what it was was a stuff.
Speaker 7 (42:03):
There you go, you fancy yourself, a GM crash, who
do they pick?
Speaker 3 (42:09):
You fancy yourself? And you just said it.
Speaker 4 (42:11):
I think I think an edge rusher got I think
it's got to be an edge rusher or a corner.
Speaker 2 (42:14):
But I'm gonna go ed rusher on this one.
Speaker 3 (42:16):
All right, wheel and deal, all right, they're not trading.
Speaker 2 (42:19):
It's not gonna be a bass player. I still got
the bass player left on board.
Speaker 4 (42:21):
Tell forty one ninety eight Rock and if you've been
listening all morning long, the Crashing Edge, thank you very much.
And if you use your thumbs and make us number
one in your presets, you can catch historical moments like this.
Speaker 5 (42:32):
Oh yes, the twenty twenty five crash. At a j
rock band draft, we're all taking a four. There's a
total of four rounds, and we're all drafting different members
to our own individual bands.
Speaker 4 (42:44):
We have our GM hats on, just like the Bucks
will have tonight right here on your home with the
Bucks ninety eight Rock. And in case you missed, will
you give the quick rundown, real quick quick rundown?
Speaker 3 (42:52):
Okay, so minutes ago crash and eye traded.
Speaker 7 (42:55):
I have James Hetfield on guitar, I got Dave Girl
on the drums.
Speaker 3 (42:59):
I got Ta tas Bassis.
Speaker 7 (43:01):
That's Jason Momoa the Aqua man on the bass, and
I've got my frontman to fill this round.
Speaker 5 (43:07):
Okay, yeah, so far for the Crash also has John
for Shanti on guitars, uh traded for Prince, and then
also has Travis Barker on the drum. And then I
have Chris Cornell Slash and John Bonham.
Speaker 4 (43:23):
Some good bands right there, all right? With the first
pick in the third round or fourth final rounds Yes,
in the band draft, producer X, you have to pick,
all right.
Speaker 3 (43:31):
And my pick is in to round out my band.
Speaker 7 (43:36):
Our frontman who's gonna be leading the charge is none
other than mister Jack black Man of what the band
is gonna be called thunder Mustache.
Speaker 2 (43:49):
Wow. Do you run that through, Chad? You want to
see I have a picture of the band photo.
Speaker 3 (43:56):
I already have a band photo.
Speaker 4 (43:58):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (44:00):
That one's with Prince.
Speaker 5 (44:02):
Oh that's fantastic.
Speaker 2 (44:04):
I'm jealous right now. All right.
Speaker 4 (44:09):
Now?
Speaker 5 (44:09):
Did you type up? What was that meaning?
Speaker 3 (44:12):
Or meaning it too?
Speaker 5 (44:13):
The end of that is that how you came up
with under Mustache.
Speaker 4 (44:15):
Go ahead and run that through and see what kind
of meaning it gives me. Second in the third round
or fourth round, AJ, what you got?
Speaker 2 (44:22):
All right?
Speaker 5 (44:23):
Joining the lineup of Chris Cornell slash in John Bonham
with my fourth round pick on the base, Ladies and gentlemen,
please give it up four.
Speaker 3 (44:35):
Please nice time he got taken.
Speaker 5 (44:39):
That was a tough one because I was looking at
Les Claypool. I love me some, Cliff Burton rest in peace,
but you know what, also looking at Cassandra Lawn, lead
vocalist and basis of a crucial taunt. Wayne's Well, Wayne's well,
