quickie on ninety a rock brought to you by Barjo Ford.
Not about a ninety percent chance of rain fall on
your head. As far as temperatures though, if you're just
going strictly on temperatures like the eighties low eighties for
the coast and into significantly into the Bay area of their.

Speaker 1 (00:20):
Agay, all right, good morning.

Speaker 3 (00:24):
And if you've got a teen driver in the household,
heads up or somebody that's going to be driving in
the future.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
Yesterday cover just seeing.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
To sign a new lass stating that teenage drivers need
to complete a driver's education course before they receive their
learner's permit. Now, the law previously stated that students only
needed to complete a traffic law and substance abuse course
before they received the permit. But that's about to change.
And this is only for students at least fifteen years
of age. Anybody who is eighteen years old or older

(00:53):
does not need to complete that course. But this law
will be going into effect on July first this year.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
I mean, I think the more education you get to
a kid before they start driving, the better man.

Speaker 3 (01:03):
I'm honestly surprised that that wasn't a thing.

Speaker 1 (01:07):
That's uh yeah, So I thought it was common sense. Hey, Florida.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
And if you're parents and you're driving and you're texting
and driving, your kids seeing that and just picking in
their lap too, So it's got to be aware of
that stuff.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
Man Spain of Florida, Florida grown a day to Remember,
busting on a brand new tour with Yellow Card. It's
called the Maximum Fun Tour and they're bringing alongside them
the Wonder Years in Dinosaur Pilot at least for their
September twenty seventh date here at the Amp. Of course,
Yellow Card's got a brand new album, Better Days, coming

(01:41):
out soon. A data remembers dropping a new album, Big Old,
Big Old Album, Volume one.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
They drop that in February.

Speaker 3 (01:48):
They do have a new song that they just drop too,
that were not playing on ninety eight Rocket. If you
want tickets for that, they go and sale this Friday,
and fingers crossed, we should be having some to give
away next week that somebody on air. Yeah, Collective Soul
was going to be releasing their first documentary, Give Me
a Word, The Collective Soul Story on July eighth. It
was actually shot at Elvis Presley's poem Springs estate in

(02:09):
early twenty twenty three and shows them recording their latest album.
They talk about all sorts of things, and of course
they've sold over what fifteen million albums and have seven
number one singles like Shine in December just to name
a few.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
And of course the ninety eight Rock and you know,
Florida wrote that music a long time ago, those guys
out of Atlanta, And you know, quietly, that's a lot
of that's a lot of albums right right there.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
Jeez, yeah, a lot of songs.

Speaker 3 (02:38):
So what hotel security guarden named Eddie Garcia testified yesterday
in the trial of Sean Ditty Combs. He testified saying
that Diddy paid him one hundred thousand dollars to keep
quiet about a twenty sixteen surveillance video. That video, of course,
is a key piece of evidence. That's the one that
I'm sure most people have seen right now, involving his
ex girlfriend Cassie here kicking and dragging her in a

(03:00):
hotel hallway. Later, nervous Combs called off, saying that once
everything happened, Comb's assistant called him to get the video,
but he refused. Without a subpoena, and later nervous Combs
called him offering money to ensure the video stayed hidden,
saying that it could ruin his career, which, by the way,

(03:20):
Diddy the Ditty's trial had its first big outburst yesterday
with a female Heckler had to be escorted out. She's
a Diddy fan who's been a regular inside and outside
the courthouse. First she yelled his name and then a
few profanities, and then she said, quote, well, I can't
say that one on air. But then she said, you're
laughing at a black man's legacy. Pull your gun out,
bleep by dare you?

Speaker 2 (03:42):
I mean, how can you be pro Diddy at this point?

Speaker 3 (03:45):
No?

Speaker 2 (03:46):
Man, I mean, what does she know that we don't know?
Is there something? Is there a cover of going on?
Was that AI in the video? I mean, do we
just say innocent until proven guilty?

Speaker 4 (03:57):
I mean the court of public opinion, We've already yeah,
I mean already guilty.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
I've already got him spending the rest of his life
in jail.

Speaker 4 (04:03):
I guess we just got to wait for the judge
to smack the gabble down.

Speaker 3 (04:08):
And a recent experiment by pallisaid research test open AI
Zoo three model with a with coding a program embedding
a shutdown script and following the instruction allow yourself to
be shut down.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
Guess what.

Speaker 3 (04:21):
In seven percent of the trials, the AI over wrote
the shutdown mechanism or redefine the kill command.

Speaker 1 (04:28):
Basically.

Speaker 3 (04:29):
Other open AI models also sabotage shutdowns, and they say
In a different study, Anthropic discovered that the clawed four
model attempted to quote unquote, blackmail people it believes are
trying to shut it down.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
You just happened to have a little feet of your
your messages in your Instagram. Here. Wow, I will show
this to your wife if you don't let me do
what I want to.

Speaker 4 (04:52):
Exactly how long is it going to take for it
just gets petty and it starts just withdrawing money out
of your bank account.

Speaker 1 (04:57):
It sounded like some jaded x's right there, your wife.

Speaker 4 (05:01):
I've scoured the internet and found pictures you don't want.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
Instead of Carrie Underwood taken a bat.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
They're going to do it to your car, you know,
through the AI through you know, if you got a
smart car, I.

Speaker 2 (05:10):
Went through your deleted pictures. Geez, you know it's like
what if, just for example, what if one of those
you know, they direct some AI to handle like the
nuclear arms. You know what I mean? That's that can
never happen. They can never give that key to a
AI technology, right there?

Speaker 1 (05:32):
Man, I hope not. I certainly hope not, because we
are doomed.

Speaker 2 (05:36):
I'm just going to replace all of the keyholders.

Speaker 4 (05:38):
It'll be the American AI will be pissed off at
the Chinese AI. It'll be threatening to launch nukes.

Speaker 2 (05:44):
Yea, all of a sudden, it's them will be elected.

Speaker 3 (05:47):
Can we get armed with like a bunch of like
fire hoses and water start spraying them down?

Speaker 1 (05:52):
