Speaker 1 (00:01):
Don't do Do Do Do.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Hey, y'all, it's Denise's podcast.

Speaker 3 (00:06):
Hey, welcome to Denise's podcast. We have a lot to
talk about, but I have a really great interview last night.
You saw him when America's Got Talent, Richard Goodall. He
is such a cool guy, his background, his story. It
was just a janitor out of school and he would
sing to the kids and one of his videos went

(00:27):
viral and boom. He wins America's Got Talent last night.
So I'm going to talk to him in a few minutes.
But first let's get to Denise's dirt and talk about
what's happening in Hollywood. Everyone in Hollywood is trying to
separate themselves from Diddy, even if they didn't attend one
of his parties, or they just went to one of
the innocent parties before it hit midnight and all that

(00:48):
freaky deeky stuff happened, nobody wants anything to do with him. Unfortunately,
a new Justin Bieber song about a Diddy party has
gone viral, but guess what, it's been proven fake going
around TikTok, and it features lyrics about Bieber's experience at
a Didty party. There is no concrete evidence to confirm
its authenticity. Here's a clip of the fake song using

(01:10):
an AI of Justin Bieber's voice.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
Oh, the girls never walk in the safe and the
episode never asked say sorry, those were self a party.

Speaker 3 (01:24):
That's so sad that anybody would even create that because
the true video when Justin Bieber was just a child,
just a baby, and it was such an awkward video
of did he saying, Hey, don't call me anymore, you
don't text me anymore, and you can just feel and
see the awkwardness and that poor kid what he had
to go through. And now someone's making an AI of

(01:46):
Justin Bieber singing, lost myself at a Diddy party. It's
just sad. What fans did notice was Usher, who lived
with Sean Diddy Combs, deleted his past tweets or they
somehow mysteriously just disappeared from his old Twitter account. Now
Usher claims his account got hacked. Everybody's waiting for Usher

(02:07):
to talk about Ditty's arrest because he lived with Ditty
and Diddy was his former mentor. Investigation Discovery, the network
behind the earth shaking documentary Quiet on the set The
Dark Side of the Kids TV now has a documentary
in the works. It was announced yesterday The True Crime
Channel has a doc telling the story of the rise
and fall of Sean ditty Comb's let's talk about some

(02:29):
good stuff. On yesterday's episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show,
she had Miranda Lambert as a guest and they're both
big fans of Chapel Roan, so much so that they
did a version of Good Luck, Babe, and it is
so good.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
Listen to it.

Speaker 1 (02:42):
It's fun, it's cool.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
You can say the way. Nothing much, you know. Since
we're speaking about music.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
During the tonight show, Keith Urban covered Sabrina Carpenter's hit
song Expresso, but he used a banjo.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
Now he's.

Speaker 3 (03:04):
Lady Gaga has a brand new album coming out, but
not the one you're thinking of. She announced yesterday she's
releasing a brand new album called Harlequin. It's going to
act as a companion to the upcoming movie Joker. I
have a feeling she's not only gonna win some Grammys,
but she's doubly going to be nominated for her role
in Joker. I saw the trailer gave me goosebump. She's

(03:25):
so good in that movie. Now, let's get to the
interview with the one, the only, the guy who got
crowned last night on America's Got Talent. He's so down
to earth, He's just a janitor at a school and
now risen to fame and won one million dollars. It's
Richard Goodell.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
I don't know, Yes, Richard golf clap, congratulations, buddy, thank
you so much. How does it feel waking up after
a long season and no, you won America's Got Talent?

Speaker 1 (03:55):
Absolutely surreal. That's the only word that can encompass everything
that's happened out here in California. Absolutely surreal.

Speaker 3 (04:03):
America fell in love with you as the janitor that's
saying to all the kids at school. But now that
you want America's Got Talent, you're a million dollars richer.

Speaker 2 (04:12):
Do you feel any different?

Speaker 1 (04:14):
I do not. I'm still the same guy. I don't
think it's hit Angie and I yet what you know
what this all entails? I absolutely not know.

Speaker 3 (04:24):
And for those who are listening right now and they
don't realize what just happened to you last night, kind
of explain you were crowded America's Got Talent winner. What
is that all encompass, Richard.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
I mean, honestly, I don't know other than the prize
money and seeing what comes our way after this. I mean,
like I said, it hasn't really hit or sunk in yet,
but it's very, very humbling everything that has happened, and

(04:54):
just to get the support that we have gotten from
America is just s Not only.

Speaker 3 (05:01):
Did you perform last night, but you were in the
company with Michael Boubla members of Journey, which was really
cool to see that happen. Simone Biles join the show.

Speaker 2 (05:10):
I mean, you can boast.

Speaker 3 (05:11):
That you're among the elite of not only singers, songwriters, performers.
You kind of set yourself up for a future. What
is it that you're hoping now to continue doing? Giving
an act in Vegas Record Records? What is the dream
for Richard?

Speaker 1 (05:26):
Honestly, Skyslee that you know, like I said, we're just
saying what comes all the way, but just being able
to get on that stage with Neil Shahan and Journey,
it's very I mean just pinched me. Ange and I
we would like to bless people and in a different
way other than just doing the regular nine to five job.

(05:48):
And we'll see what that entails in the coming days.

Speaker 3 (05:50):
You looked extremely comfortable when you were on stage singing
with Journey last night, extremely comfortable, like you were just
as comfortable singing in the back rooms as school or
to the kids. Talk about your submission tape, the tape
that you sent to audition for the show.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
Well, my audition video was a bit different. It was
it had went viral on twenty twenty two because of
Journey and Steve Perry, and when I submitted it, it
had already been out there for a couple of years.
And then I was supposed to be a part of
last season. For whatever reason, it got dropped, and then

(06:29):
Hallie posted me on his TikTok, and then all of
a sudden, I was back on the radar again. And then,
you know, four months later on I never been on
a plane been west of Missouri. I'm flying out to
you know, La, And I mean, gosh, look at me now.
And you said that I looked comfortable on stage with Journey.

(06:52):
I mean I was just like I was at all.
I mean, you could probably count on one hand how
many people's gotten to sing with them. Most awesome, one
of the most awesome bands in the world. And I
got to do it.

Speaker 3 (07:05):
Meanwhile, that's a dream come true. Most of us just
sing into our hair brush along with journey in our bedrooms.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
Right Why for me it was either the hall raised
in locker rooms or in the showers. So yeah, a
little bit different stage there.

Speaker 3 (07:20):
Yeah, how long have you been singing? And did you
sing a lot of journey growing up? And along the
way with this, with this journey of your life.

Speaker 1 (07:29):
I personally had sang a lot of journey, whether it
be through singing competitions or I sang gospel for eight
years and then did some karaopy stuff and you know,
and then I sang for the kids every single year.
I've been a janitor for twenty three years so and
usually it was you know, the God Bless the USA

(07:52):
by Lean Greenwood during the Veteran's Day or whatever. And
then then twenty twenty two, like I said, the teachers said,
just sing it everyone. At this time, I said, how
about don't stop believing? And then it took off like
a shot and changed my life, whatever it really has.

Speaker 2 (08:07):
Do you plan on going back to the school at
all for a bit, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (08:10):
And then we'll see what offers comes our way.

Speaker 2 (08:14):
I mean, yeah, all right, well, good luck and thank
you again. Congratulations, thank you.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
I have a great day.
